I’m Onsie Onsfjord or Fjord feel free to call me whichever is not mind to me.
I’m a 26-year-old English Norwegian who’s mainly lived his whole life in the United Kingdom and graduated from university with a degree in Computer Networks and is now working as a DIE for the NHS (Digital Infrastructure Engineer).
Caught you off guard with that job title acronym huh? Yeah, trust me when I first started it had me in fits of laughter, but you get used to it after a while.
So a bit about me; - I’m an introvert and tend to avoid public crowds, events and such and just try to vibe with friends on a nice game of anything (which you’ll see below) - I’m an avid IT nerd and will most likely remain this way for my whole career as IT is my education and career at this point - On top of IT you guessed it I’m also a very big avid “gamer” I mainly play PC and PS5 games with my current interests being in Helldivers 2, Star Wars: The Fallen Order, and Jedi: Survivor amongst a few other things like WoW, CoD, SWTOR and so on. - I love learning, whether it be history, game lore, languages, cultures, etc. You name it, and I’ll probably be interested in it (Trust me, you give me a flag of any country, and I’ll be able to tell you the country’s name and political structure. - I’m also an avid book reader and you’ll most likely see my shelf full of different manga from all types of genres, I don’t particularly watch anime, I mainly read instead because I find it more “interesting” for better or not. (Not that I'm opposed to watching it) - I’m trying to learn to cook myself but not very good at it as my most recent attempt I ended up giving myself food poisoning so it’s sufficient to say you will have a big gamble if you’d like me to cook ha-ha. - I do watch football from time to time and do support a few clubs from around the world (mainly northern Europe, the UK, and the US) feel free to guess if you’d like! - I’m currently on a VLCD and have lost about 2 stone within 1 month which I’m super super happy about.
In terms of looks and such I’m what an average 26-year-old would look like who is 6’1/6’2 with a picture on request.
Please don’t judge too much as I’m still working on improving myself.
What am I about? I’ve always made it a goal to help, care for, and support those close to me, whether it be friends, old friends, or the equivalent of my family. They’ve been there for me, and I’ll go hell and back for them as they’ve stood by me through thick and thin, even through the loss of other close friends; they’ve picked me up and brushed me down and set me straight to which I will always forever be in their debt and have helped them being.
Whilst I’ve been shot and backstabbed by many of those who I thought were close to me I just try and see the positive and avoid the unnecessary drama and arguments as life is just way too generally short for that kind of stuff and we should all get along with each other in my mind.
What am I looking for? I apologize if this comes off as really picky - Someone in the realm of the US, Canada or Europe - Someone between the age of 20 to 28 years old - Someone who has an interest in IT, manga, gaming, and such (It’s easier to talk to people with the same interest I’ve found though you don’t need to work in IT at all) - Just be a kind honest individual who I can back and vice versa. Be there for each other.
I am looking for a monogamous and serious relationship and not a friendship, however, I’m fine with starting out as friends whilst getting to know each other etc.

I don’t like throwing labels around but I’ve come to the conclusion that my ex was definitely a covert narcissist. Thinking back to the times he hurt/betrayed me, the gaslighting, deflection, lies, no accountability and lack of empathy. He has major insecurities and fear of abandonment from his past due to being cheated on and getting rejected. The good moments outnumber the bad. But the bad was horrible
In the beginning he said that for the 1st time someone loves him for him and I did things no one else did, appreciating what he did etc. also the 1st girl he’s family has liked. The only time I couldn’t fully show up to the relationship was when I went through grief, which he didn’t take well because his needs weren’t being met I guess.
What boggles my mind is he didn’t want things to end and wanted a future and I also was an upgrade from his previous partners in looks and character (I was told) he did things that contradicted what we built and wanted (eg messaging random women/models on social media) . He always felt homeless people sorry but never had empathy for me or some of his family.
We tried for a couple of months until he didn’t want to respect my boundaries or see how vital trust and emotional stability is for any relationship. He abruptly ended it over the phone without giving me a chance to talk
I never realised dating a person with severe insecurities would be so damaging, when you truly love them and understand them and just wish they could see how self sabotaging they can be. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster. Going no contact has been difficult, I still would like to just talk and hug him but I always remind myself of his actions and how much I need to work on myself especially since I know i deserve better . It makes me angry to see how after 5years it’s like he just moved on and didn’t care. I've been self publishing my study notes from my uni in a podcast type of form to youtube and spotify, I have done so for 2 years now.
I also sometimes upload pov travels that I do during my vacation. I've been doing this for six years, I only upload to youtube.
This made me exactly $4,374.12, with the bulk of it from my travel type of vlog. Yeah it's small compared to anything but the point being is that any thing you make can be published and seen by anyone anywhere from around the world.
Video editing is the biggest time sinks. So as audio editing if its just for a podcast format. But usually, I would just go to fiver as I used to have an editor that will just make good use of all the footage I'll drop. You can also just make it super simple, you don't even need to narrate a video or if you're shy, just use an automated voice to do it. Now that there's AI, things are WAY easier. So expect a flood of AI written media in the next 5 years, bet on this.
But what's going to stand out is user generated content. Just like how streaming ushered in a new era for entertainment pushing video rentals out of the picture, user generated content is the key in the next 10 years. Along with data info (info of anyone really) and now with AI, anything user created will be gold & you can expect to atleast make some form of passive income. Thank me later.

Hi, just committed to Western, going into BMOS with AEO, and looking to specialize in either accounting or finance. Just looking at a few of these courses makes me confused, since I don’t have anyone to confide in as to which courses I should take first year. I just need some recommendations as to which are relatively lighter in difficulty so I can maintain my 80.
I’ve seen some research talking about Math 1229 so I’m planning to take that, but I’m pretty sure I need another math, do I need to take Calc 1000 if I took MCV4U in high school?
Idk if you take electives first year or not, but if you do I’m gonna need recommendations for those too.

Hi, I’m a girl in North Carolina and I know working at a young age is frowned upon commonly I understand elderly people or those who are retired need jobs and have no restrictions, however, I badly need a job and haven’t applied anywhere. I need help making a resume and getting places that hire. My parents are immigrants and we’re a lower-middle-class family/ higher-lower-class. I have a few things going on family-wise that I need to be able to be out of the house at 18, (not to sound ungrateful or anything I appreciate extremely everything they’ve done for me) but they cannot afford a car for me, nor a college tuition. I’m working towards graduating at 16, and hoping to have a car by then. No babysitting, dog sitting, car washing, or anything neighborhood-related, please. It’s a long story but I can’t do that. I don’t have a car, and can’t legally drive alone, my parents can’t drive me either, nor can my sibling. I need places that hire. Please don’t downvote this because you hate the idea, just please help someone out. I plan to start working in the fall, I’m good at managing time. I did two sports at once this year and managed to stay with straight A’s and Honor Society.

FTM transman, and im very scared on medically transitioning. Which is why I’m more solely focused on socially transitioning and trying to take things slow because I’m afraid of the permanent affects of testosterone. I’d love hair on my body and arms, I’d love the deep voice, I wouldn’t mind them, I just can’t go along with them if they’re irreversible, which makes me afraid if I would ever detransition one day (I hope not, that shit scares me, especially if I have permanent changes to my body) and if I’m not comfortable with how my transition body turned out, or if I lose contact with family members because they would see me as a different person and not recognize me
But, there’s a problem I can’t get out of my head, which was when I learned what a transmed was (might’ve worded that wrong). Now I don’t show any sort of hate for their group really, I tried to leave my business out of it and go my own way since I don’t agree with them at most, but I can’t stop thinking about it. I was worried that, since I won’t medically transition (as of now since I’m not sure), would I still be considered a trans person? I haven’t been diagnosed gender dysphoria, but I’m showing…a lot…a lot…of signs…but, either way, it scares me that some people of the community wouldn’t see me as a “real transman”, and actually makes me nauseous because isn’t their definition of transmed like “to be trans, you have to have gender dysphoria, or medically transition”? Please correct me if I’m wrong, I’ve been getting very anxious about all this since I’ve been having trouble with my identity for like 3 days…

AITA for stepping down as a bridesmaid?
Before I give the story, let me give you some background context. I’m 16 years old and the groom is my cousin who I’m very close with and I have just recently met his bride. A couple minor things happen when we first met. For example, one time she was braiding my hair and she told me something backhanded like “oh my gosh, your hair is soo thin. Like your braid is so tiny. When I braid my hair it’s so thick.” Its not necessarily mean, but it’s just something that I feel like wasn’t necessary to say. There was also another incident where I was at my other cousins wife’s bridal shower and I was complementing my little cousins dress and she told me that I didn’t look nice. Now, I’m obviously not going to hold a grudge against the kid, but this is in front of my whole family. That bride went on to say “Well, at least she’s being honest”. Those little back handed things bothered me a little but I just wanted to avoid drama and get the whole thing over with. She included me as one of the bridesmaids, which I thought was very nice of her. She has a bunch of sisters so they added me into a groupchat on whatsapp and I went over their house and I helped them plan her bridal shower. I also participated as like one of the bridesmaids in her bridal shower and we played games and it was really nice. I had a lot of fun but then all of a sudden after was in November, I never received any messages and calls any text. Nothing. I knew zero about what was going on and now the wedding was almost a month away (May) and I literally had zero information on what the bridesmaids were gonna be doing. I scheduled my make up appointment at 1:30 because the girl that I do make up with only takes appointments really far in advance and you have to pay a deposit. So I have my appointment set and I knew the wedding was going to be a little later in the day around six or seven and I knew that we had to wear a blue dress. That’s all I knew. Now, all of a sudden 4 days ago I got added to a group chat where some of the girls were just saying really random stuff like oh I can’t wait for the wedding. I’m like that’s weird for them to make a group chat all of a sudden… (for reference this was on iMessages) then I look back at my cousins phone and I was talking with my aunts and I realize that this group chat on iMessages had been going on for a minute. They were sending details and my cousins bride only thought to add me after she sent all the information. On iMessages, you can only see messages sent after someone adds you, which maybe the bride doesn’t know about but still. I feel that communication is essential and the fact that I’m figuring all of this out a week from the wedding and being added to that chat without a word makes me wonder if they even want me to be a bridesmaid. There was also a chat that bridesmaids were communicating on and this chat was completely different. So let me know if you need more details, but AITA?

In every rpg I’ve ever played I’ve always played casters. And in most they generally have their pros and cons, however, i can’t find many pros to balance out the cons especially when you consider if you do not multi class wizards, sorcerers, and druids have crap attack potential without jeopardizing your entire party.
Playing a level 12 fighter, Barbarian, or Monk gives you far more damage potential, far more movement, (even taking flight/misty step into consideration since those cost actions.)
Wizards and sorcerers in certain situations one shot nuke a big group, but you have to do a lot of preparation to make it happen. Meow meow meow meow. You also have to consider where your melee characters are positioned at all times.
Using lightning is a pathetic joke. Even as a level 12 blue draconic blood line sorcerer with all the lightning gear in the game you’re still dependent on having to get the enemies wet for it to have its optimal effect. Even then it know shocks the crap out of everyone in your party because you turned around without taking a step and the other 3 decide running around like chickens with their heads cut off directly into the electrified water is exactly what you want.
Now compare it to the fighter, barb, or monk. They can clear 90% of the enemies on the map in most fights in a single turn at level 12 and proper gear and you don’t have to worry about frying shadowheart’s hairdo.
Am I missing something or is this a bit unbalanced? I understand wiz and sorcs get CC spells, and other utility, but I’m speaking solely on destructive output and easy of use.

Please note I'm a complete novice when it comes to ice cream, so I apologize for the ignorance in these questions.
I'll admit I'm a sucker for the cheaper kind of soft serve ice cream from the fast food restaurants. I'm wondering if there are any recommendations for smaller soft serve machines that might fit on a countertop and hold a soft serve mix that churns throughout the day. It would be cool to grab a cone or a cup on the fly. Ideally I'd like to just be able to leave the mix in for like a 24 hour period as opposed to having it mixed before every serving. Do they make home machines that will just keep the mixture chilled?
I assume I'd have to buy a soft serve mix of some sort to get that smooth, creamy consistency. Any recommendations on which brands may be preferred?

So, I play AFK Journey since day 1, I had a blast at the start and still enjoy the game "somewhat" But here is a few issues that I just cant wrap my head around. I'll list the issues down below...>

1. The main issue for me is that there's just not enough content to do. EVEN though its a AFK game. I feel like we need more content directed more towards the end-game players. The content we currently have is pretty fun, but all of it can be done within 15 minutes max if you're taking your time.
2. Cosmetics, They are a nice addition to the game. They help everyone create their own unique character, But here is what I dont like, The game gives you plenty of cosmetics from just doing the campaign, But the majority of it is just a bunch of animalistic cosmetics or cosmetics that were made just for the sake of having more options thus half of them not being made with actual passion behind it. If you manage to reach the top-20 in Supreme Arena, Which is very difficult to get to, and not only that, You'd also have to manage to stay top-20 without people overthrowing you. But, the cosmetics you get are temporary, They are not only the best looking cosmetics by far currently in the game. But they are also temporary. So after tears and sweat getting there. You only get temporary cosmetic. Why cant it be permanent? We actually had to put effort into it (Wallet included) to get there, Unlike the majority of the cosmetics we get just by doing campaign which are permanent. I'd rather look like a fully plated amored knight (As edgy as it sounds) then be a "Furry" as people like to call. Or you know, simply add a more variety of cosmetics then a bunch of tails and sticks glued to our head.
3. Essences, the bane of my existence. Getting essences is so ridiculously expensive, that you'd make a big mistake to spread it out on multiple characters instead of prioritizing just 1 core team. (This is not included for whales) Im a mid-spender, Not a whale by far, just buy packs that have high value. And I struggle to have 2 strongly independant teams because I lack the resources such as Essences. Can we just please have a specific game-mode or that we get MORE essences by game-modes that already drop essences.
4. In this massive, open-world game. There are only 2 vendors currently, But 1 of the 2, Is pretty much a waste to even bother with. And im talking about Ironhoof Forge. Not only does it sell equipment that you will most likely replace within the same hour, or day maximum. It also sells the equipment for a ridiculous price. Almost everyone i've talked too. Nobody ever recommended even going there unless you really were desperate and had a very, very low equipment lvl, that needed a replacement. But not only that, I just feel like in general, For such a massive open-world game. I feel like there is a lack of vendors or open-world activities such as crafting stations, or cooking stations, you name it. It needs more NPC driven activities imo.
5. Chest equipments, The chests that we open up for the equipment, just so we can recycle it, Its mind-baffling how the chest require a specific resonance level, Yet it gives equipment far below from what you currently have. Its stupid.
6. Reset all the levels of Arcane Labyrinth once a week, or increase the levels, Its honestly suprising they haven't even touched that yet. There's no use for it once you've cleared all 15 levels. And that was 3 weeks ago.
7. They should really add more guild-related activities/events. We get to have a nice guild-hall, but the only purpose of it is to do your daily battle-drills, claim rewards, and get out of it. Its such a waste honestly.
8. The Abyss, which I cleared 1 week ago, Has dull and underwhelming rewards once you reach a certain stage, Why is it with every game-mode, The higher we go, The more underwhelming the rewards become? Would it hurt to keep the reward the same?
9. We need more Co-op events/activities, If there is 1 thing I enjoy doing, its doing Corrupted-Creature with my guild-mates or my friends. Its very engaging having to set up a team with other players.
10. This is not so much of a issue, but more towards what I'd like to see in the future. A housing-system. We got the world for it, And i'd be a pretty fun activity to do, If you just want to sit back and do something that doesn't involve killing, running, and pushing stages.

Let's learn about the genetics surrounding white German Shepherds (WGSDs for short) and White Swiss Shepherds (WSSDs for short). However, we start with the genetics, let's talk a bit about White Swiss Shepherds and white German Shepherds, as well as their similarities and differences.
WHITE SWISS SHEPHERDS (WSSDs): What is a White Swiss Shepherd? White Swiss Shepherds are a seperate FCI and KC recognised breed that descends from white German Shepherds, made after white wasn't allowed back into the GSD breed standard. The first White Swiss Shepherd stud, named Lobo, was born in 1966 and was later exported to Switzerland along with other white German Shepherds from the US and Canada.
Lobo was owned by a woman named Agatha Burch, who also imported a female from the UK called 'White Lilac of Blinkbonny'. It was Lobo, White Lilac, and the other imports brought into Switzerland that are considered to be the foundation of the White Swiss Shepherd Dog, though Lobo and his progeny are the most recognizable. A club for the WSSD was founded in 1989, and gained FCI provisional recognition in 2002, and was later definitively recognized in 2011. The breed was also recognized by the Kennel Club (not to be confused with the AKC, UKC, or either CKCs) in 2017. A large portion of WSSDs, however, haven't been outcrossed to WGSDs since the making of the breed and since the registration of four of Lobo's offspring in the Swiss Stud Book in the early 70's, although that is starting to change (which will explain a bit more further down).
Today's White Swiss Shepherds look different from most white German Shepherds. The biggest difference is that WSSDs, as any breed, have their own breed standard. And this standard is different from the GSD standards. The WSSD breed standard calls for a look that is more similar to the older GSDs. They don't have such sloped croups, their rear legs aren't as exaggerated as in GSDs, they have longer backs, and more rectangular shaped bodies. Their feet also need to be oval-shaped rather than cat-shaped. WSSDs can also be a bit bigger than GSDs. WSSDs can come in short coats (also called stock coat) and long coats and both of these variations can be shown without any added faults. And of course, only white coats and black noses are allowed in WSSDs. Snow noses and more cream shaded coats can happen in the breed, but they are not desired. The desired look in the breed is a snow white dog with jet black skin, nose, and brown eyes. So in general, the WSSD breed standard calls for a wolfier, "old-style" GSD kind of appearance.
White Swiss Shepherds are stacked in a four-point stack and unlike German Shepherds, there are no working lines or show-lines in the breed. All dogs are just White Swiss Shepherds and can participate in any sport or show as their owners wish. Any nose colors that aren't black would be a disqualification in WSSDs, but so far only a small portion of WSSDs have been found to carry liver. That being said, no liver litters have been born in the breed and with how highly inbred the breed is, breeding livers would result badly.
Temperament wise, White Swiss Shepherds tend to be calmer and more level-headed than German Shepherds, but there are exceptions with a higher level of drive.
Most White Swiss Shepherds can been found in Europe. A way smaller amount of breeders can be found in non-FCI countries like the US, but they can be difficult to find. As such, WSSDs have an issue with COI as a lot of these dogs are very inbred. And even though no issues can be seen now, continuing to breed WSSDs to only other WSSDs could bring upon the end of the breed. To stop that from happening, the ''borders'' between WGSDs and WSSDs have gotten lighter and some breeders are introducing new white lines to the breed.
WHITE GERMAN SHEPHERDS (WGSDs): What is a white German Shepherd? White German Shepherds are German Shepherds that are, well, white. They aren't a seperate breed from the typical German Shepherd, except for in the UKC where they can be shown as a variant of the German Shepherd or as their own breed, the White Shepherd.
And with the fact that WGSDs are GSDs, they can vary more in appearance than WSSDs. As with any other German Shepherd, WGSDs can come from different lines like American show-line, Czech working line, West German show-line, etc. And of course, as German Shepherds, they have the same German Shepherd breed standard. Although in the biggest kennel clubs, white is either a fault or a disqualification. The UKC is the biggest and only kennel club that allows white GSDs to be shown. The German Shepherd breed standards may vary depending on the location, but in general, German Shepherds tend to be smaller than WSSDs, tend to have more sloped croups, and more exaggerated rear legs. The biggest difference between WSSDs and WGSDs is the color variety. WGSDs can come in many shades from a golden shade (Often called champagne or biscuit) to pure white. Due to white only being a masking gene, WGSDs can also have liver, blue, isabella, etc pigmentation. They can even be piebald or panda and with the panda, have blue eyes. But most commonly, pure white, black-nosed, and brown-eyed WGSDs are seen. White German Shepherds, like any other German Shepherd, are commonly stacked in a three-point stack.
German Shepherds tend to be more energetic and driven than White Swiss Shepherds. White German Shepherds also don't really have COI issues like WSSDs as there are many different lines they can use for their breeding programs, non-white GSD lines included.
WSSDs and WGSDs: To recap, what's different in the two breeds? White Swiss Shepherds tend to look longer, be less exaggerated, and look more natural. White Swiss Shepherds also tend to be more docile than German Shepherds. White Swiss Shepherds don't vary in color as much as white German Shepherds. White German Shepherds tend to look more similar to GSDs (because that's what they are) not WSSDs. White German Shepherds can come in different shades, can come in liver, blue, isabella, panda, piebald, etc. Due to both breeds being different, they both have different breed standards. WSSDs are stacked in a four-point stack in shows, while WGSDs are stacked in a three-point stack.
So, what's similar in the two breeds? Both have similar features as they were once the same breed. Both share the same ancestry, and both come in mostly white coats where yellow shades aren't preferred. In both breeds, snow noses are not desired.
However, even though these two are seperate breeds, breeding these dogs isn't as easy as it might seem at first. This is mostly because WSSDs are a seperate breed in the FCI, but not in the AKC or UKC. As such, all WSSDs are seen as WGSDs in the US. That being said, a WGSD wouldn't be seen as a WSSD in any FCI country. As such, if a WSSD and WGSD had puppies, they could be registered in the AKC and UKC as GSDs, but if a WSSD and WGSD had puppies in an FCI country, they'd be seen as mutts that don't belong in the German Shepherd or White Swiss Shepherd breed. They would also likely be seen at mutts in the KC, so it is a mess in general. What makes the breed situation for the WSSD even worse is that currently, some WGSD lines are getting introduced in WSSDs in hopes to add to genetic diversity. That in itself is great, but it also breaks down the already wonky border between the breeds.
So in conclusion, unless they're at the extreme ends of the spectrum, you won't be able to tell apart a WSSD from a WGSD just by looks. You can tell the breed by their pedigree and by the breed they're registered as. And in the US, the line between the breeds doesn't really exist so unless you're breeding FCI registered WSSDs to other FCI registered WSSDs, your WSSD and it's offspring will most likely be counted as WGSDs or just GSDs.
GENETICS: Now, the fun stuff. The white German Shepherd and the White Swiss Shepherd are called white, although the correct term for their color is recessive red. Recessive red is located on the E locus and looks like this: ee. Recessive red makes a dog's body covered in phaeomelanin (Phaeomelanin is the red pigment of a dog. It doesn't color the dog's skin or affect their eye color, it just affects the red fur of the body). Recessive red comes in different shades from deep red (in Irish Setters), yellow (in Labradors and Golden Retrievers for an example), to white (like in White Swiss Shepherds and white German Shepherds).
If a recessive red dog is bred to another recessive red dog, then they can only produce recessive red puppies. If a recesive dog is bred to a non-recessive dog, then the color of the puppies will be determined by the other colors that their parents carry. So some puppies can be white, come black and tan, etc.
Every recessive red dog has another pattern underneath all of the phaeomelanin. That's why golden retriever mixes can be brindle or WSSD mixes wolfsable or any other color that they carry. Take my white GSD, Yōkai, for example. Underneath all of the phaeomelanin, he is black and tan. Recessive red can't come in any patterns, but can have panda over any other true white over it, as panda is a dominant gene and not recessive. Recessive red dogs can also have different skin, nose, eye colors depending on their eumelanin color.
HEALTH: There are no health problems associated with the white masking gene.
IN GERMAN SHEPHERDS: Recessive red naturally occurs in the breed and wasn't introduced by crossbreeding. As it is a recessive gene, it can similarly pop up in litters just like blue and liver. White is probably the most popular of the nonstandard colors, and their coat color doesn't impact their temperament at all.

Now my evidence here is that Zazu says some particular things like "he would make a very good rug" when talking about scar and that happens in a reference in Hercules and Zazu says to young Simba and Nala "you two are going to get married" and what happens at the end of the movie they get in a relationship.so what does this mean. Well we don't have any evidence for Zazu's intentions but since he can see the future and doesn't mention mufasa's death I think he's trying to get in control of the pridelands or be trying to get rid of specifically Simba's bloodline by giving them impending doom and seeing their deaths and that is why I think this theory and it's a film theory y'all
