Since it was illegal in the state we were at, she proceeds to call my parents and tell them we need a $100k for the hospital expenses, at the time of child birth, since I did not have an insurance. Or I could fly back to be with my parents, and he’d come visit the child and I, every year, which I found offensive.
Eventually, when my parents didn’t agree to both of it, they said I need to go home and get an abortion. When I refused, they proceeded to starve me for 3 entire days and my dad booked a ticket and helped me escape the hellhole.
After I got home, they’d constantly call and harass me, saying, don’t get the abortion, just give us the money and we could raise the child together. When we didn’t agree, because we genuinely don’t have that kind of money, and I don’t want to raise a child all by myself, I went ahead with the abortion.
There were complications during the surgery because I was too far along, and hence I was on bed rest for over a month after it. In this time, he calls and demands a divorce, since his mother has found him a “good girl” to marry.
I felt like my world fell apart, and ended up in therapy for feeling suicidal. We eventually, had no choice but agree to a divorce.
As soon as we mentioned alimony, he said he loves me very much and does not want a divorce. He calls my parents and apologises, saying he was blinded by rage, and did not mean it, and that he wants to reconcile. Both him and mil apologise to me, for how they treated me. However, I want it all in writing that, he’ll never ask my parents for money again, either he’ll come here, or I’d move there, but we get a place of our own and not reside with parents and this is to happen within 6 months. Although he agrees to these terms, he refuses to give it in writing, because it’s “disrespectful”. I do not want to reconcile, because him refusing to do it is sus.
So, I tell him I’d go ahead with the divorce, to which he says, he has no money to give as alimony. When I said that is not my problem, he faked a heart attack, which went away, the moment I asked for medical documentation.
I end up choosing mental peace and say, I want no alimony, and just want to get him out of my life. The minute I say that, he becomes extremely lovey doves and is begging me to remarry him after 2 years of the divorce. I said, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Hi guys, I (F26) was diagnosed with adhd a few years ago and I am also awaiting an assessment for ASD via clinical partners. I’ve been on a good meds dose for a few years and feel confident I am medicated effectively. I’m actually a registered MH nurse and I work with a lot of patients with adhd/ASD so I do have some good clinical knowledge but mainly seeking support/validation here.
I keep getting really sad and upset for no reason. I say no reason, because it feels like that - but actually what I’m getting sad/upset about is in-animate objects lol. I keep feeling sorry fofeeling sad for everyday objects. Examples:

1. There are two bus companies in my area, company A and company B. Yesterday I had a discounted ticket for company A, but bus company B pulled up at the stop I was waiting at, assuming I was getting on. I didn’t get on as I wanted to get on a bus from company A. The bus then drove away and I then spent a long time feeling sad incase the bus/bus driver felt rejected.
   
2. I am very susceptible to “cute” marketing, anything with a smiley face on the branding and I instantly feel bad for it if it gets any bad press or bad reviews. To the point where I will buy products/services that I have heard bad reviews about just becuase I feel sorry for the smiley face.
   
3. This can also happen with non-inanimate objects. Sometimes I have a negative thought about someone eg “they’re really annoying” and then the minute they stop being annoying I start to feel really bad for them and hope that they never find out that I had a bad thought about them, because I don’t want them to be sad.
   

Weirdly the stuff that’s designed to incite these feelings doesn’t really do it for me. I don’t cry at “sad” Facebook videos like families being reunited, or films that everyone else cries at. I will feel empathy for people if they’re going through something crap, and I of course work with a lot of patients who have some real emotional stories. But nothing quite hits the same as the emotions I’ll feel if I worry I’ve ignored a teddy in my spare bedroom for too long.
I know this all sounds trivial but it genuinely has negatively impacted my life. I’ve stayed in toxic relationships because I’ve got wrapped up in imagining my partner being really sad and upset and alone, which has caused me to stay with them for far too long. I’ve missed out on things or been moody/lost in thought in situations where I would have preferred to be more present. To the outsider, it looks like I’m randomly just switching moods and getting sad for no reason, which in turn can make me difficult to be around at times.
Does anyone else experience this? How do you manage it? I do a lot of mindfulness work and I try my best to be present and rationalise etc, but it feels like the empathy part of my brain just can’t switch off/work properly
TLDR: I feel sad/lots of empathy for everyday objects or imagining other people being sad, which can ruin my day more than genuine sad events

So, in the past I've mentioned that I use AI to assist in writing code for my personal projects, especially for things I use to automate stuff for myself, and I've gotten pretty mixed responses. Some folks say they do the same, others say AI can never write good code. I ran into a similar mindset among professionals in my field, and it made me realize that maybe folks are simply using AI differently than I am, and that's why our viewpoints are so different on it.
Before I begin, a little about where I'm coming from: I'm a development manager , and I've been in the industry for a while and even went to grad school for it. So when you read this, please keep in mind that this isn't coming from a non-dev, but rather someone who has a pretty solid bit of experience building and supporting large scale systems.
Also, if you read this and think "Why do all this when I can just ask it for code and it works?" This guide is for building large scale systems that are clean, maintainable, and as well written as you can personally muster. Yes, there's redundant work here and yes there's still a lot of work here. But, in my experience, it has not only sped up my personal development but also made it really fun for me and allows me to churn out features for hours on end without getting remotely fatigued.

My AI Development Rules

First: The rules I follow when coding with AI to get the most benefit

• Keep context low, because most AI I've found degrade in quality as the context gets larger. Make new conversations often, and rely on editing existing messages to reuse context. For example, if the AI produces a chunk of code and I have a question about it, I might follow up and ask my question. Then, if I see a second, unrelated, question- I might edit the first question that I asked and replace it with my second question, after which I regenerate the AI's response.
• When asking the LLM to review code, do it in a new chat and tell it ANOTHER AI wrote the code. Not you, not it, but a separate AI. My prompt usually looks something like: "I presented the following requirements to another AI [your reqs here] Please review the code critically and critique it, refactoring as necessary". I've found that LLMs are too nice when I say I write it, and double down when I say that they wrote it.
• This isn't just about time savings, but mental energy savings. This means creating a workflow that saves the developer as much effort as possible by engaging the dev only at specific moments. There may be times reading this where you think "Why do this extra step BEFORE looking it over?" Because the AI can produce a response in 2 minutes or less, while a human can take 5-10 minutes to do the review, and that is energy spent. It will make you tired. I'd rather burn some AI time to get it right before the dev engages
• Do not rely on the AI entirely. Think of the AI as a junior developer- would you task a junior developer with a large scale application and not even review it? Of course not. With AI, you have a junior dev trapped in a little box, writing any code you want. Use that junior dev appropriately, and you'll get a lot of benefit.

Important Note: I always use 2 AI. Always. If you dont have a local AI, then Mistral has le chat for free, and you could use free chatgpt 3.5 If you have high end subscriptions, like Claude Opus and ChatGPT 4 Turbo, even better.
I prefer local AI models for various reasons, and the quality of some like WizardLM-2 8x22b are on par with ChatGPT 4, but use what you have available and feel most comfortable with.
You CAN use just 1, but different models have different training, and may catch things.

Phase 1: Architecture

AI is terrible at architecture, so this is mostly you. You don't have to deep dive down to, say, the innehelper method level, but at a minimum you want to document the following:

1. What is the project about? What are the requirements of the project, in a concise format that you can repeat to the AI over and over again whenever you pose a question to it?
2. What does "Done" look like? This is for your benefit, really. Scope creep is miserable, and you have no one to reign you in as the stakeholder. Trust me; my current project should have been done weeks ago but I won't... quit... adding... features...
3. What classes/modules/packages should exist? Lay the program out in your head. What is each responsible for? How does it flow?
4. At a high level, what kind of methods should each have? If you have a LoggingService, do you want a "Log(message)" method? If you have a FileManagerService, do you have a "ReadFile(fileName)" or "ReadFile(filePath)" or something else?

During this phase, you can present the answers to #1 and #2 to your AI and ask it for an architectural breakdown, but don't just use its answer. This is just to help you get over mental blocks, give you something to think about, etc. Write your own architecture. A big reason is because you, above all, need to know this project's structure inside and out. It will be harder for you to keep track of your project if you didn't write your own architecture.

Phase 2: The Coding

Below is the workflow I use. I understand that for many people this will feel like an unnecessary number of steps, but for me it has resulted in the highest quality that I've found so far, and has sped my development up massively... especially when working in a language I'm not intimately familiar with (like python. I'm a C# dev lol).
Yes, you can get code from AI far faster than what I'm about to say by simply asking for it and moving on, but the goal for me here is quality, developer understanding of the code, and adherence to the developer's style of coding. I want to write code that is clean, maintainable, scalable, and other developers at least won't want to set fire to if they look at it lol
Note: When making my first coding prompt of a conversation to the AI, I almost always include the answer to #1 from Architecture above- the breakdown of requirements for the full project. That context can sometimes help it better understand what you're trying to achieve.

• Step 1: Look over your architecture and pick a feature.
• Step 2: Present the requirements to the first AI (whichever you want to use first; doesn't matter), as well as the high level overview of the classes and primary methods that you want. I generally formulate a prompt similar to this: "Please write python code to read from a file and present the contents to the user. I'd like the code within a module called 'file_utilities', with a class 'FileManager' that has a method called 'read_file' that takes in a file name. I'd then like this called from a module called 'display_utilities', which has a method called 'display_contents_of_file'. This prints to the console the contents of that file. Please consider these requirements, give any critiques or criticism, and write out a solution. If you feel another path would be better, please say so."
• Step 3: Copy the requirements and response. Start a new chat. Paste both, telling it that you asked another AI to write the solution, and that was the response. Ask it to please critique and refactor.
• Step 4: Copy the requirements and the new response. Go to AI #2 (if applicable) and ask it the same question as above.
• Step 5: Take the final response and code review it yourself. How does it look? Do you see any obvious flaws? Anything you want to change? Rename any helper methods as necessary. Consider whether any of it looks unnecessary, convoluted, redundant, or simply has a code smell.
• Final Step: Take the code, the requirements, and all of your feedback, and start over from step 2, doing the whole flow again if necessary.

While this may seem like it would be exceptionally time consuming, I can tell you that this workflow has worked amazingly for me in saving both time and energy. I'm usually dead tired at the end of a workday, and I simply don't have the mental energy to write code for another 4-5 hours straight. Because of this, I put off personal projects for YEARS. But by doing this, it allows me to get roughly similar quality to my own work when I'm fresh, while pawning off the labor portion of the dev to the AI.
I do the thinking, it does the efforting.
I would expect that steps 2, 3 and 4 will take around 5 minutes total. Step 5 will take 10-20 minutes depending on how much code is involved. Another loop will take another 15-25 minutes. So 1 feature will take around 20-60 minutes or so to produce. But the key here is how much mental energy you, as the developer, conserved while still maintaining tight control over the code.
Also note that this workflow won't work for EVERYTHING. Context limits can make it simply infeasible to engage the AI in some tasks. Say you've got 6 classes that are all working together on a function, and you realize there's an odd bug that you can't figure out where it is in that workflow. More than likely, you won't find an AI capable of handing that amount of context without degraded quality. In those cases, you're on your own.
Anyhow, I know this is lengthy, but I wanted to toss this out there. This workflow has worked amazingly for me, and I intend to continue refining it as time goes.

A perfusionist’s central role is to operate a heart-lung machine during open heart surgeries or other surgeries where blood flow may be impaired or interrupted. Examples of surgeries or devices that may require perfusionists most commonly include:

Salaries for perfusionists are generally higher than $150,000 per year. There are a wide variety of pay structures that will affect total compensation packages.
The future of perfusion is unclear, mostly due to concerns of market saturation. A search through /Perfusion will reveal a wide variety of opinions on the matter. The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) publishes an annual report listing the number of certifications gained and lost. Included in the most current report (2023) is a historical list going back to 2000. Included in the 2022 report is the number of students admitted and graduated in 2021 and 2022.

How do I become a perfusionist?
To become a practicing perfusionist in the United States, you must become a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP). This credential is governed by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) and is awarded after passing two board examinations: the Perfusion Basic Science Examination (PBSE) and the Clinical Applications in Perfusion Examination (CAPE).
Qualification to sit for the board exams is achieved by completing a certified program. The accrediting body for programs is the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and a current list of programs may be found by going to this page, selecting “Profession” and choosing “Perfusion.” Unfortunately, this does not include programs that are defunct or programs that are undergoing the preliminary accreditation process. All schools require an undergraduate degree before entry regardless of outcome: degree or certificate.

Common Questions About the Application Process

 
Is it competitive?
The application process is extremely competitive. Schools are typically receiving several hundred applications and most take 20 or fewer students.
When does the application cycle begin?
The application cycle is different for each school, but typically start as early as June 1 for start dates the following year.
That means that for the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year, applications will begin opening on June 1, 2024.
When do applications close?
Again, each program will be different. Some programs close earlier than others. Some programs have processes that take awhile to complete, so it is advisable to complete your application before the process closes.
Which school should I apply to?
You should apply to every school you're qualified for.
What prerequisites are required for perfusion school?
Each of the programs have different requirements. Contacting each of the programs with program specific questions is going to result in much more accurate answers than asking here. Programs can and do change requirements on an ongoing basis.
Nearly all programs require at least a documented conversation with a perfusionist or shadowing a case as part of the application process.
How do I find a perfusionist to shadow?
LinkedIn is your best resource. You may also post a request for a specific geographical area using the flair “Shadow Request.” You can also try contacting hospitals that do open heart surgery and arranging to shadow a perfusionist.
What kind of work experience is useful when applying to perfusion school?
Perfusion assistant jobs are sometimes referred to as a “golden ticket” for admission to a school. Many schools seem to value healthcare experience, through what type varies from school to school. Traditionally, RNs with critical care or operating room experience and respiratory techs seem to have a high degree of success. Other perfusion / OR adjacent jobs like anesthesia techs also seem to correlate with higher acceptance rates. As the application process becomes more competitive, it may be worth reaching out to current students to see what class make ups look like or Program Directors to see what advice they may give. Unfortunately, the application process is a “black box” and each institution has different qualities, traits, and experience they seem to value.
What are my chances of getting into School X? / Should I apply this year or wait until I have more experience?
No one knows. Your chances of getting into a school that you haven't applied to are zero. Contact the program for specific questions and guidance about your situation. The application process is a "black box" process with only the Program Directors and Admissions Council Members knowing how they work and what they are looking for in the current cohort. If you have specific questions about feedback you have received, feel free to ask them. Generic "what if" questions have a low likelihood of being approved in this subreddit.

I'm a non-native English speaker, but I have a C1 language exam. I also have learnt German and have a C1 language exam as well. My NL is Hungarian and now I've been learning Korean at university for a year, minus the summer when there aren't any classes.
No matter what I do, I can't seem to keep up with my courses and barely pass my language classes. Unlike with German and English, when listening to Korean or even attempting to speak Korean, my brain doesn't seem to realise that it's a real language and doesn't pick up on any grammars, only a few words here and there. But when I'm looking at a text-book, I know I know the grammar, but when I try to use it, it just vanishes.
I've tried everything, like watching shows, talking to natives, only conversing in Korean with my classmates, writing a diary, and even paying to take an extra language course, but it's like my brain has decided to completely reject everything.
I'm not sure if the same would happen with another language, I haven't got any time next to university and my exams right now to try, but I've never encountered such a harsh block before with any language, even ones I've lost interest in before.
Does anyone have any idea what I could do to finally get over this block?

I graduated the 11th my exam is the 29th. I am nervous I Have made a high on the 5 U world assessment exams. I do over 100 U world questions a day and 20 ATI. I did a ati 2023 comprehensive predictor before I graduate said I had a 86%. Well I just got the go ahead to take the test for the green light it told me I had a 54% of passing. Which I clearly didn't get the green light. It tanked my confidence to say the least. I take it now or some time in July. I forget easy and know that'll hurt me. I have knowledge in business consulting, and I promise you that a business owner would be a MUCH more lucrative mark than a low-income college student.
• I wouldn’t choose such a time & energy-draining method of scamming people. Also, communicating back and forth with potential clients is an absurdly long time sink since only less than 10% of all potential clients who reach out to me actually become paying clients of mine. So my current organisation provides scholarship program from different universities in India along with some from Asian countries as well in Agriculture field. One of the university NCHU,Taiwan is starting MS Semiconductor in English language and they asked my organisation to share a few names from India and my org. suggested my name for MS.
Now the catch is this course is in partnership with a leading American chip company so this company will provide me a job after the completion of my degree in Taiwan. So basically i have to live in Taiwan for 4 years.
I graduated 10 years back and was preparing for competitive exams. But by a stroke of luck this opportunity came. Does anybody know or has done Masters from Taiwan in any electronic or electrical engineering, pls tell me how difficult is the course and is it wise of me to move to Taiwan to puraue this course.

The question is, though, how much of this am I expected to know for exams? A lot of people say that this was an easy A, and its one of the lowest on the pain matrix. But the exams carry a heavy weight and there's not much room for error.

I recently finished my highschool. I'm a science student and I've regretted it for 2 years now. I wanted to finish hs ASAP and go to college like other kids. My two older siblings were science students in hs too and later changed streams in college and are doing their respective degrees. My mom had always wanted to have one of her kids as doctors, which my older siblings refused because they weren't interested in the medical field and had goals of their own. I as the youngest, with no specific goal was stuck with my mom's dream. For two years of hs I didn't get any pocket money because I studied from home/online and not leaving the house means no expense/ no money. My parents wouldn't even pay my phone bill for months and at time my aunt gave me money to restore my phone connection. My mom promised me daily pocket money as much as my elder siblings if I enrolled in an acedamy and studied for medical College entrance exam. I ofcourse got excited but told her I'd think about it. She considered it a Yes and within days talked to my father about it. One morning my mom suddenly woke me up to fill an online form. My father had apparently paid 6000 for my registration at an academy which my mother saw on an ad. This chain of study platform is one of the most famous in our country. We believed I'd attend offline classes like we do at any other academies but turns out they have the "top stars" teach us on an online conference, also some offline staff are available in case of any doubts we have. I simply did what I was told to do and started to attend. I have to wake up at 7 and travel 2 hours (by local transport) to get there, have 3 classes, 2 hours long each and come back home, traveling another 2 hours. That wouldn't be a problem but the thing is I don't understand a thing the teachers are teaching us. The academy demand 6000 as registration fee without even any demo classe. And also demanded we pay 25000 within first week or they wouldn't allow me into the class. I told my parents about it and they paid. The first two days, the teachers spent with introduction and stuff, and the next 4-5 days I tried my best to comprehend what they were trying to teach. Language barrier is not a problem because I speak all three languages required for the classes. I also have social anxiety which my parents don't believe because I'm loud at home so they think I'd be the same outside and there's no chance I'd be "shy". I can't talk into the microphone and ask the teacher to explain for the 2nd or 3rd time when the teacher isn't even physically there and I'd have to ask kid in the class to pass me the microphone to ask a stupid and basic question also in front of nearly about 1000 kids taking the same course across the country. We all attend at the same time. I told my sister about these concerns casually and she suggested I talk to my mother and let her know so that we don't waste any more money on the academy when I don't even understand the two important classes (physics and chemistry). I calmly told my mom and she said her blood pressure is rising and wtf am I on about. I repeated all the things about how I don't understand what they say and an online batch would be better for me which costs only 4000, whereas I'd have to spend 60 more thousands there in next three months excluding the transport fee. I told her I'd talk to the management and ask for a refund and I'm sure I'll get atleast 90% of it back. She didn't want to listen to me and started cursing me for wasting her money. I tried my best to explain and my sister tried talking to her too but she was totally out of it. I had enough of it and snapped. I told her how I never wanted to be a doctor and sh*t. I just wanted to go to college get a degree and a decent job to support myself, she was the one who insisted I go there and as I hadn't received a cent in past two years I just wanted money and she knew it that's how she convinced me to go there to begin with. She went on about how I 'forced' them to pay the first installment because they wouldn't allow me in. I clarified that I just informed them they wouldn't let me in on the 3rd day, which was basically the first lecture, without a fee receipt and they just paid for it. She still continued blaming me so I just told her to eff off and I'd just attend like usual, Idc if her money is wasted and she'd have to pay more in the future, I just wanted to let her know about it earlier. Then I left the room. She started complaining to my sister about how I'm an ungrateful brat but my sister stood by my side and told her she was the impatient one and I had done the right thing by informing them earlier and also I had given it my best. Then my mom suggested my sister to accompany me to the academy and talk to the administration but my sister said she's not my parent and she shouldn't have to be there with me for my problems (she just 19 and I understand her) but tbh I want to go there with my sister, I feel safe around her and I know she'll take my side regardless of how the counselor tries to convince her about it being my fault and not trying hard enough. My parents would straight up listen to her and start blaming me. I begged my sister to come with me but she refused and I understand her, she has to attend college too so its no big deal. But as I mentioned above I have social anxiety, I won't be able to confront the counselor and tell her how it was a scam that they didn't let us know about the type of education we'd be receiving and also not leaving us with any options but to stay. Now amidst all this even if I do end up getting a refund, we'd be losing like 10000 and that's a big deal for my family (we just poor IDC why my mom decided to spend her inheritance money on something so stupid). My mom blames me for wasting a huge amount for which my father would have to work 12h a day and 5 day continue shift including night hours. I feel so uneasy about how I made my family lose sm money but I don't want to do that further. I believe it's better to put an end to it and my sister thinks the same. To make up for it I promised to study harder and qualify the exam even though I'm not interested in the subject at all but I just can't get over the guilt I feel.

Hey all, looking for some guidance or those who have gone through something similar to share their experience. I got a rib graft rhino about a year and a half ago and my tip came out crooked. I got a revisional surgery about a year later to correct the curve/crookedness of my nose tip. Well now it's been a couple of months and the tip still seems crooked to me.
My concerns are, is there any way to remedy this? Does my body just not want to heal correctly? Is my cartilage just prone to warping? Do I need to give it more time? I'm just very worried that it will stay curved and of course don't want that. I also understand results aren't guaranteed but having now gone through two surgeries, I would have expected this to be finalized.
So for those that have a similar experience, how'd it go for you? What did you end up doing if you needed to do anything at all?

25(f) Had surgery on Tuesday so I’m only 5 days post op and everything has been going smoothly so far. Never needed any of the pain medication and the gas pains are almost gone. However the glue on my umbilical incision got tugged on by my pants and it got pulled out. Now there is a suture end sticking out and it’s freaking me out. I think the rest of the incision looks good it’s just super itchy. There was only a drop or two of drainage when I dabbed it with gauze. I have called my provider and left a message, but of course they are closed because it is Sunday. I have it covered with clean gauze and tape. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Did it need to be re-glued? I just don’t want it to become dehised.

Testing 5/24 I’m curious about people who had a pleasant score jump from their last few practice exams to the real deal. Example: I had a friend who jumped from a 506 FL5 to a 514 on test day

• I certainly wouldn’t do it for such paltry amounts of money. (i.e., anything less than $1,000 per victim.)
• I certainly wouldn’t choose high school & college students as my “target audience” to scam, considering that most people without college degrees have abysmally low annual incomes. Why choose low-income victims when it would be much more profitable to target high-income, high-net-worth individuals earning at least six figures a year? I have knowledge in business consulting, and I promise you that a business owner would be a MUCH more lucrative mark than a low-income college student.
• I wouldn’t choose such a time & energy-draining method of scamming people. Also, communicating back and forth with potential clients is an absurdly long time sink since only less than 10% of all potential clients who reach out to me actually become paying clients of mine. Sorry if this is against the rules or the wrong place to post, but I'm in need of recommendations for a platform to host live, instructor-led online courses with the following requirements:
Must-Have Features:

• Video Streaming: The platform must handle streaming videos (.mp4s and YouTube videos) with minimal lag or related issues.
• Breakout Rooms: Ability to create breakout rooms for small group discussions or activities.
• Capacity: The platform must support at least 25 attendees simultaneously.
• Camera Sharing: All attendees must be able to share their cameras simultaneously.
• Duration: The platform must accommodate meeting durations of up to 4 hours.

Important but Not Critical:

• Ease of Use: The platform should have a user-friendly interface for both instructors and attendees.
• Instructor View: The instructor should be able to see all attendees' cameras on one screen.

I've tried a few platforms so far but haven't had much luck:

• Zoom: Video sharing capabilities are problematic. We've been using Zoom but have received consistent feedback from attendees that videos are largely unwatchable, even when shared via the Screen Share > Advanced > Share Video option (with optimize for video and share sound enabled), though that is significantly better than using the "standard" screen sharing option.
• Livestorm: Has a maximum of 25 users with simultaneous cameras on, including the host(s). There is also a max of 8 attendee cameras that can be viewed on one screen at a time. Additionally, the price point is hard to swallow for a platform that only partially meets our needs.
• Adobe Connect: It's unclear whether or not attendees can share their cameras, and the admin/setup seems to be restrictively complex.

So, does something exist that meets these requirements or am I looking for a great white buffalo? I honestly appreciate any bit of guidance anyone might have!

I have a situation that bothers me and i gotta clear it SOOn. People , even the ones lower in the power scale tend to disregard me despites me having shown to be able to be social , these uni class in particularly traumatized me and tore my hard won recovery from therapy to pieces so you guys know that i need HELP.
I left the group that had traumatized me and lived in uni in post trauma state terrified of people , thanks to analysis i am recovering again and realized that my classmates hold extremely outdated views of me that are harmful. They saw me when i had "low self esteem" and no people skills. I lifted a life of being excluded and i was doing great and was confident BUT my classmates kept pushing the whole "mentally ill" poor thing on me so bad i relapse bad and dumped anyone that held that view. I ended up suffering immense reputational damage and couldnt get into another group after what they did.
These people think i am childish and actively try to pity me. Funily enough i had a part time job while in post trauma and ouside people told me all the time that i was very social and i talked about the uni situation briefly and they all go surprised "How come you've got no friends there? no fucking way!" "I thought you had had a blast with your uni classmates too!"
So its these people that are purposely fucking me up. Few examples:

• gym bros calling me in affectionate nicknames that only my very few close ppl use. Why? cause they wanted my homework and think im lonely and dying for them . Well i played a few cards, first thing first i started leaving without them the only class we share and they pity waited me, i also didnt tell them about an exam date and they bombed it and the day of the exam they went "oh do you have a cheat sheet? do you need one?" trynna act nice like five mins before. I told them no need i would figure anyways. When i asked for help they would disregard me and come up with excuses as to why they couldnt help me knowing damn well i depended on them back them, once they didnt reply and i went to the other unknown classmates an hour before the exam and went "OI GUYS ANYONE THAT KNOWS HOW TO DO QUESTION X,Y,Z? " in a loud voice and someone did help me and it massively saved my grade , later on those gym asses showed up and went "you didnt reply we waited for u at x place, is it all alright?" and i went "no need someone already helped me" notice that was ten minutes before the exam and they were slow as fuck replying and i knew they would leave me hanging, also i gave em excuses as to why i didnt have my homework and when they kept asking in a whatsapp group for homewrok days later i went "For fucks sake, you coulda done your homework in the time you have been asking for it" . They have completely stopped talking to me and sitting nearby :) stopped calling me by these fake ass names and i like it, except for this other shit guy the one i targeted with the homework thing and only talked to me when convenient and we stays around idk why but pisses the shit out of me.

I dont greet anyone at all, i am allowed to frown and be disrespectful, people think im such a poor cause that they let me be mean as fuck and even a professor gives me grace. I cheated in an exam and got forgotten just like that, i tricked another professor into reapplying an exam to me and even used my dads ghost bussiness to hand in evidence of job so i could have access to that privilege and it worked.
A professor went once " you look very sad". I was actually furious that day. My anger can be read as sadness often.
Most of this class think i am dumb , in fact they go "You didnt read the honesty clause part of the exam did you ?" i innocently asked "what clause". That was during the time they had weakened me but i was still social with people. Of course i had read it, what amazes me is how stupid they all think i am while all that has been happening is that i grew too fucking lazy and dependent, OF COURSE I READ THE CLAUSES AND DECIDED TO CHEAT. I have adhd and used that to cover up for those nasty nasty traits of mine and became dehumanized. Now i need myself back and idk how to clean up
The pity greetings have stopped a long time ago. Again since a year ago i dont greet any of my classmates.
About the other people , i am forced to worked with the folks that none respects cause turns out i ruffled the feathers of everyone in my first recovery so hard people exclude me out of some shit envy . Got rid of the classmates that knew me since ighschool and keep seeing me as disadvantage and as if i couldnt make authentic friends. Trust me , not true. My friendships do fail but not for the whole "poor thing" narrative. I am quite charismatic and in good mental health i am downright fantastic.
The highschool uni ex friends stopped talking to me overly friendly and switched to formal. I am going more formal. The plan is , go lone wolf and recover my mental health entirely while excelling at my internships and pursuing a social life somewhere this shit stain isnt present. I know its not me but this fucked up view of me that i wont ever be able to shake off their heads. At this rate i am planning to go independent in my studies so i dont need to ask anything from none of these asses and move onto my adult life healed.
Here's the public view on me:

I cant go back to people cause i am in an addiction that gets triggered by being close to these people and they will most likely harm my mental health. they have seen all my vulnerabilities so i do feel hopeles. Given i will have to move onto a career that needs political skills at this rate i was thinking of using this situation to practice cause tbh long gone the days i wanted to be friends with these assholes.
I am also making a priority understanding things in class and taking my meds consistently cause whats the need of being a slave of these assholes. Even professors try to give me "life lessons" about psychology concepts that i am a thousand times more well acquitanted with than themselves. I also started being more formal when needing to deal with people. My hair is well done always due to expensive treatments and i dress in a fashionable way on the days i dont go "full hobo" due to exams. Maybe that why people outside uni react positively upon meeting me. On contrast there is this other bitch that has disheveled hair , dresses in a non fashhionable way and yet they all respect her and she helps in class and is the gf of the class president. Same bitch that goes around with the attitude of "oh no i know nothing" clearly shes just pretending . Fucking bitch i really do hate her jesus.
Externally i have good things , i am a polyglot , i can put effort into my appeareanced despites not bein gvonventionally attractive and i can be charismatic when in good health SO WHY AM I LOSING IN THIS DYNAMIC? i am very self aware and intellectually curious , far from dumb, i am ambitious, far from the lazy image , i like fashion , talented at working my mindset and are one of the rare people that massively benefits from therapy and can improve greatly with it , external stuff doesnt ruffle me if i am healthy, also like electric guitar and so much more.
Objectively speaking i HAVE HUGE POTENTIAL I HAVE VALUABLE EXTERNAL SHIT yet dont want to base myself off of it because those things are fleeting. WHY AM I LOSING HERE?
