I saw today that Stewart-Haas is shutting down their NASCAR operations at the end of the season. I know Tony is busy being a drag racer, but is there any potential at all that he owns or co-owns an IndyCar team? Tony Stewart did the “double” like Larson, so he certainly has some personal interest in at least the Indy 500. I’m only asking because this would be great for IndyCar and I would love Stewart to make this move.

The fact that NFS ProStreet is getting some love to both old and new racing or NFS fans are surprising. They love the attention to detail of crashing cars to the announcers acknowledging the cars, the place they are helding the event at, and the cars you totaled with another 6 to 7 whole hours of audio clips coming from the 3 announcers; the atmosphere, the car list, maybe a negative view on the vinyl options and decals where you have to drag few minutes to see each option one-by-one unlike how they did in NFS 2015 to Unbound where you can see all decals and vinyls in grid view; The soundtrack, the opponent's cars, the bosses and their cars (despite some of them sucks when you unlocked it), the progression, etc..
I remember when I first played it back in PS2 and despite that I like Underground 1 and it was my first game in my whole life to finish a campaign, this game is what I love the most and it will be my forever best racing game ever because of what I've mentioned above.
But, I remember many of the players hated it back in 07, and they pretty much prefer the NFSMW. But to me, this game is great and I'm happy that the game gave more attention than ever before 10+ years later. To the point that Eden even created a mod for the game and both Eden, Kuru and other YouTube gamers say this game is great.
But what do you guys think?

Raising her shoulders in the air, a layer of Francesa’s dress drops, revealing a matching set of pants as her eyes look upon the judges, transfixed.
Capture me, my blood is red
HerShe spins around, calling her fake mobile phone as if a scared girl in a horror movie, as Chronologica chuckles.
That's not impossible to do, oh
To the beat of the song, Francesca plays with the heaves and grunts, her chest puffing as she curls her lips around every word, like a witch stalking her prey.
Primeval times with a little stimulation
HerShe is on the floor, crawling across the stage like a sexy model, flicking her hair back with a smirk on her face.
Anne Dior Kashaut: “HerShe giving sexy… wow, what a surprise.”
Tie me to a tree, crawl all over me
Her eyes darting around with manic expression as her words silk through like butter, Francesca trawls through the stage with a strong, fixated energy.
I don't ever wanna be eaten alive
HerShe drops into a death splat, as Francesca rips into her outfit with her long claw like nails, the outfit tearing into two as the song ends.
Chronologica gasps, clapping.
Francesca La Fataliá: “All my outfits are designed for moments like this. They don’t need to know that, though.”

The racers walk in, and see the other 6 racers, all dressed in their best Flannel Drag, staring at the group.
“Oh, should we be scared?!” Carly laughs.
Everyone mean mugs each other. Ethan squats, staring at the others. Lady Gag is filing her nails. Niagara is brushing her hair. Shiseido applies lipstick. Molly stares hungrily at the racers. Lokii is smiling.
Francesca La Fataliá: “Should I be scared?”
Lokii: “It’s like two, shocking, scary racers coming together… and then…”
“HIYA EVERYONE!” Vicki cheers, as the racers all run over to each other.
“Oh I know you, girl!” Lady Gag looks at Shayla. “The big nerd girl from Ft. Lauderdale!”
The others stare at Lady Gag.
Shayla Moon: “Should I be offended by the phrase ‘Big’? No, that’s me. But it’s MEANT as an insult.”
“Excuse me… who are you?” Shayla asks.
Lady Gag looks shocked.
Shayla Moon: “Face crack!” Shayla cackles.
“Lady Gag, Chronologica’s Drag Race, Season 6 Winner.” Lady Gag smirks, extending her hand.
“Where’s the winner, I just see someone doing something already done, less successfully.” Francesca responds.
“OOOOOOHHHH!” Niagara laughs.
Lady Gag scoffs, as Ethan and Shisisedo both nod in appreciation.
“WHO are YOU?” Lady Gag turns, giving a stank face to Francesca.
“Leader of the Fataliá Mafia.” Ethan says, eyeing Francesca.
“Wait, you’re really a crime lord?!” Carly gasps.
Francesca smirks.
Carly looks scared.
“Ethan Angel-Eye. I’ve won the first week.” Ethan extends his hand to Francesca.
Ethan Angel-Eye: “When you see a threat- let alone one that may prove herself, you play the game.”
“I guess I don’t need to introduce myself, beyond adding- I’ve won the second week.” Francesca smirks.
“SO that’s the one I steal the potion from…” Molly whispers under her breath.
“Ooooooh…” Lokii smiles.
Lokii: “She’s cool.”
“Who was your top 2?” HerShe grins, looking around. “HerShe Kiss, former pit crew.” Molly smiles, placing her hand on her heart.
Anne smiles, looking over at Lady Gag, who is ignoring the others. “I love your look.”
“Oh, you’re gorgeous, BABE.” Gag smiles.
“Let’s be friends.” Anne says.
“It was I, Molly Moppit- former San Jose Men’s Correctional Prison attendee.” Molly says, crossing a finger around her neck and making a cutting noise.
“Woah.” Carly gasps.
“She’s fucking lying.” Shisedo responds.
Molly rolls her eyes, before laughing. “I was top 2 though.”
“Well, it feels nice to be here, together.” Vicki smiles, looking around. “Maybe we should hold hands and cheer for a season of fantastic drag?”
“I’m not doing that.” Ethan says.
“Hell no.” Shisiedo responds.
“Gross.” Lady Gag scoffs.
“Eek.” Anne makes a face.
Shiseido laughs. “Declassé.”
Molly looks at Shiseido. “Do you even know what declassé means?”
“I’m not a hand holder.” Francesca responds.
“I’ll join!” Shayla smiles, walking over and extending her hand.
“Oh, I’ll do it.” Nakomis joins.
“Me too.” Lokii gives an awkward smile, joining in.
HerShe holds hands with Lokii.
“Of course!” Carly yells.
Nearly half of the room hold hands, the others looking at each other, as the cast of Season 6 scope out the competition.
Carly Shay Jepsen: “I’m… excited.” Carly smiles.
“To Season 6!” Carly cheers.
“TO SEASON 6!” Half of the room responds.
Carly Shay Jepsen: “The tide is high, the guns are blazing- but you know what? This is exciting.”
“To beating you twelve.” Shisiedo raises her hand, as the other half of the room joins in.

The next day, the racers all enter the werkroom- Bar Lady Gag, who struts out in a seashell bikini.
“…Are you going to be wearing Lady Gaga every single day, in and out of drag?” Anne smiles, looking at Gag.
Anne Dior Kashaut: “I think I’m in love with Lady Gag.”
“No, last week she wore a bikini!” Molly chuckles.
“Miami, bitch.” Lady Gag puts on a pair of shades.
“Where did she even get those glasses…?” Molly questions, putting on a pair of Ethan’s own sunglasses.
Anne Dior Kashaut: “I sense a kindred spirit. Perhaps, it is also this- I am the actual president, treasurer and secretary of the Luxembourg Lady Gaga fan club.”
“Don’t question it.” Anne puts her hand up.
Lady Gag poses, pursing her lips.
“…I hate this.” Shisiedo mutters.
“As do I.” Francesca stares.
Anne Dior Kashaut: “Either way, we’re becoming fast friends.”
“Can I sit h-“ Niagara starts, before Anne and Gag turn to her.
“NO.”
Niagara looks confused, before nodding. “Okay, werk.”
“Nasty bitches.” Nakomis splutters, inviting Niagara over. “Come sit with us.”
“Not when you’re wearing that ugly shirt.” Niagara makes a face. “Who even is that?”
“It’s my namesake.” Nakomis points to her shirt. “Nakomis.”
“Fugly.” Niagara shakes her head.

“MAIL!” Molly yells.

“Acting challenge?” Molly asks.
“Oh, I’d love to act.” HerShe smiles.
“I can see it with the persona you put on.” Anne jokes.
“HAH!” Lady Gag snaps her fingers.
HerShe makes a confused face.
“Guys, let’s not…” Vicki smiles. “It’s-“

Chronologica walks out in a Rugby Jersey, the words ‘Eeels’ splattered across it, ‘Chronologica ’69’ across the back.
“Now, is it ’69 because of your age, or…” Shayla winks.
Chronologica winks back.
Racers.
Welcome to the first REAL week- because this point onwards, we’re doing eliminations. I’m making a promise, here and now… no fake out eliminations. Each week, until the finale, someone WILL go home.
Lokii: “No safety notes. You do bad one week? You don’t win a lip sync? You’re going home.”
Shayla gulps.
Now, for this week’s maxi challenge, it’s time to put your dance and choreography skills to the TEST. In three teams, you will be putting together a choreographed VEGAS inspired showgay performance- big headpieces, big moves, and… you’ll be making your OWN choreography, to just make it a bit more fun!
Ethan Angel-Eye: “I am a Choreographer, first and foremost. This is an opportunity to continue to deliver, and get another win on the board. I feel satiated.”
Ethan.
Frannie?
“Please no.” Francesca looks at Chronologica.
“Mama Fatal.” Carly looks at Chronologica.
Chronologica nods, clapping her hands, as Francesca does a throat slitting motion at Carly.
“Hey, I did that first-” Molly exclaims, before being shushed by Shayla.
Ethan and Mama Fatal, you two will be the TEAM captains, as winners of the first two challenges. They’ll be a third team, we’ll be calling the… leftovers.
Ethan, as first premiere winner, you get first pick.
Ethan Angel-Eye: “None of these racers seem appetizing. Then, I recall a mentioning… of a certain someone having dance experience.”
“Shayla Moon.” Ethan nods.
Producer: “But Shayla didn’t mention her experience to you at that point.”
Ethan Angel-Eye: “That’s none of your business.”
“Carly.” Francesca utters.
“Mama!” Carly laughs, running over.
“One more time…” Francesca growls.
“…HerShe.” Ethan nods.
“Woo!” HerShe runs over.
HerShe Kiss: “I love a team project. I tend to lead them, but…”
Francesca mulls over her options.
“…She’s taking her TIME.” Molly whispers to Vicki.
“Please-“ Niagara raises her hand. “I have performance skills. I think I’m cunt. I know I’m cunt. Let me prove myself.”
The others look at Niagara.
Niagara Halls: “Like, I was thinking- her drag is kinda gorgeous. I want tips. And I don’t want to not be picked.”
“Okay child, prove yourself.” Francesca gestures for Niagara to come over.
“UGH.” Ethan grumbles.
Ethan Angel-Eye: “I hate the choices I am forced with.”
The others look at the displeased Ethan. “Lady Gag.” Ethan says, as Gag joins her team.
“Fabulous.” Lady Gag smiles, looking at Anne. “Good luck.”
“You’ll need it.” Anne says, flicking back her hair.
Ethan Angel-Eye: “Allegedly, she can dance. Best bet, over the clear non performers.”
Gag smiles.
“Nakomis.” Francesca says.
That leaves Molly, Shiseido, Lokii, Vicki and Anne as the leftovers!
Molly Moppit: “Am I offended? YES!”

Molly Moppit: “Am I a bad dancer? NO! Gravity just tests me!”
Molly’s eyes dart left to right.

The teams start chatting, as they prepare for the challenge.
Carly Shay Jepsen: “For our maxi challenge this week, we’ll be dancing our asses OFF in a Vegas style dance performance!”
“I think the important query here to ask-“ Francesca looks at the racers. “Who has dance experience? And who has choreography experience?”
“I am certainly a MOVER.” Carly smiles, shimmying.
“So not a choreographer.” Francesca writes a note down.
Carly gasps dramatically, before shrugging. “True.”
“I’ve taught groups, but actively, no.” Francesca says. “I will own up to that.”
“I love to perform, but yeah, same.” Nakomis scoffs.
“Girl, same.” Niagara laughs.
“So I picked poorly.” Francesca says.
“…I mean, we are all performers, right?” Niagara looks around. “I think-“ She pauses at Nakomis.
“Well, you did offer to prove yourself…” Francesca hands Niagara the notepad.
Niagara looks spooked.
Francesca La Fataliá: “I can still lead without actively doing so. I want Niagara to own up and prove herself. I saw a fire. Show it. It’s a team challenge. And I have an immunity potion.”
“Okay…” Niagara cracks her knuckles. “Let’s do this.”
…
“So, who here is a DANCER?!” Molly smiles.
Nobody raises her hand.
“Well-“
“Why are you acting like a team Captain?” Shisiedo responds.
Lokii and Vicki stare at each other. Anne is oblivious.
“…I was asking a question, Red.” Molly laughs. “Don’t-“
“Don’t call me Red.” Shisiedo puts her hand up.
“Would calling you old nasty grandma bitch be better?” Molly asks.
Anne giggles, as Vicki clicks her tongue.
“No, no, no-“ Vicki shakes her head. “Let’s not swear…”
“Fuck off.” Molly and Shisedo say at the same time.
Vicki frowns.
“...Great, nobody is a dancer.” Anne rolls her eyes.
Anne Dior Kashaut: “I must give my best. Being surrounded by weak links is one good thing- because it means I will not be in the bottom. I’ll help make it clear.”
“I think you should lead, Molly.” Anne puts her hand up.
“Oh…” Molly smiles. “Well- you know what, yes!”
Anne smiles.
Shisiedo looks annoyed.
…
“Now, I do have choreographer experience. I am the leader.” Ethan looks at the others.
“Ooooh…” HerShe holds her tongue.
HerShe Kiss: “I am a natural leader, I believe I have the skills, the talents, the abilities. It seems to be a default role for me.”
“Does anyone have dance, performance experience?” Ethan asks with a half smirk.
Lady Gag and Shayla raise their hands.
“I am a professional mover.” HerShe smiles.
“Okay, we’re all solid, so we can take hold and fucking deliver. I’m going to expect we all go 110%.” Ethan begins to write notes.
“I’d like to ask something.” Shayla says, putting her hand forward. “I’d love to take lead, front and center.”
“And why do you believe you should be at the front?” Ethan asks.
“You made a fantastic comment the other day, about me being a big girl.” Shayla looks at Lady Gag.
“Oh, yeah.” Lady Gag laughs.
“...I know my body isn’t the standard- Vegas Showgirl. I want to showcase that.” Shayla adjusts herself, stretching in her Death Note crop top. “Big girls can shine too.”
“I love that.” HerShe smiles.
“Werk.” Lady Gag laughs.
Lady Gag: “I’m a fierce bitch, girl- calm down with your big girls can shine too moment.” Lady Gag rolls her eyes.
“Sure.” Ethan nods. “Okay.”
Ethan Angel-Eye: “I will plan and execute this to a T . I know I can perform, and likely win this challenge. But, I’m happy to take a backseat to the conversation right now. Tactically- it works for Shayla- who can lead the show, and allow Lady Gag to get annoyed.” Ethan does a half smile.

The teams all walk onto the main stage for the maxi challenge to rehearse.
Anne Dior Kashaut: “I am excited to watch this chaos. We’re sitting down, and watching all of the other teams… prepare. How much fun.”
“Good luck.” Anne whispers to Lady Gag, as her team gets up.
“Okay…” Ethan holds a clip board, looking at the others. “We’re going to get into the first moment, as Shayla walks out…”
Shayla walks to the front, extends her arms and drops into a split.
“Woah.” Niagara covers her mouth.
Lokii: “She can move. It’s kinda… woah, cool.”
“Okay, then it’s you, Gag-”
Lady Gag flips forward.
“Then HerShe-” Ethan directs, pointing forward.
“I don’t know if my moment works.” HerShe purses her lips. “I’m thinking instead, I should actually strut out-”
“Are you a dancer? Are you leading, or are you third, listening to my instructions?” Ethan responds.
Anne begins to giggle.
Ethan stares at Anne.
“..I think you’re not leading in a democratic style, and it’s not going to work unless this is a collaborative piece.” HerShe adds. “I think perhaps, I can also take the reigns-”
Shayla and Lady Gag look confused, as Ethan gives a blank expression.
Shayla Moon: “Now, I am a control freak- and arguably, yes, my section is working well, but HerShe… huh?”
“This isn’t a Kumbaya scenario. If you can’t do the move, tell me, but it’s my leadership, or I’ll fucking throw you to the wolves in front of the judges.” Ethan growls.
“Jesus.” Vicki utters.
“...Okay.” HerShe nods.
…
“Your turn, team Mother Fatal.” Anne points.
“That is not yours to say.” Francesca says, getting up.
“Now, I’ve put together some points.” Niagara says, holding up a notepad.
“Wait, Niagara is doing the choreo?” Lady Gag utters to Anne, chuckling.
“Yes, I am.” Niagara smiles, holding the notepad. “Nakomis, you won’t be wearing this, I hope? You have heels to prepare in?”
“...Yes, Niagara.” Nakomis responds.
Nakomis Lotus: “Niagara is leading- she’s trying, but she’s kinda…. Nervous?”
“Nakomis…” Niagara’s eyes burst. “I mean Carly.”
“Oh, yeah girl, okay.” Carly smiles. “Do you want ME to go-”
“YES!” Niagara yells.
Carly looks at Niagara. “We’re one team.”
“Yup, yup…” Niagara exhales. “Let’s do it.”
“You can do this.” Francesca looks at Niagara. “If you don’t, you’ll die.”
Niagara gulps.
“She’s serious, too. I know she is.” Molly adds.
Niagara Halls: “Why did I do this?” Niagara huffs. “Okay, no, wait, I am fierce. I am fierce…”

“Last team, our team..” Anne says, coming up.
“Okay, let’s go.” Molly begins to strut, walking forward, twirling- before tripping her feet.
HerShe makes an awkward face as she watches.
“Can you even-” Shisedo stumbles mid-diss against Molly.
“Is there a curse that has been placed on you all that is making you clumsy?” Shayla asks. “Because I know a practitioner.”
“As do I.” Francesca adds.
“Okay, well lets do it.” Molly says, going through the motions.
…
Nakomis Lotus: “It’s clear the entire team are struggling. All of them… it is not going good.”
“This choreography is ridiculous. It is both two simple, and two complex- how the hell did you think this was appropriate?” Shiseido splutters.
“Can we not argue, right now?!” Molly puffs.
“If you had something noticeable with your drag, any ability or talent, you’d-”
“YOU HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO PERFORM IN YEARS, SHISEIDO!” Molly yells. “Use your eyes!”
“Can we just perform.” Vicki sighs.
“Please…” Lokii frowns.
Anne practices the steps, as if ignoring the others.
Nakomis Lotus: “Vicki is struggling a LOT, too- it’s clear. But Shiseido and Molly-”
“You’re an idiot.” Shiesedo starts.
“And you’re OUTDATED!” Molly yells.
“Perform better.” Shiseido looks at Molly.
“Okay, try and actually move, you aged monster.” Molly says, wearing an immunity potion around her neck.
“...Wait a minute.” Vicki stares at Molly. “That’s- she didn’t have that on, only a minute ago…
Nakomis Lotus: “You two in danger, girl.”

The racers get ready for the main stage.
“Does anyone have like, familia rooting for the back home, cheering them on?” Carly says, putting her wig on.
“...Wig glue?” Francesca looks at Carly.
Carly shakes her head. “Nah.”
The others look at fear in Carly.
“You put it down raw?” Shayla gasps, before smirking. “Well…”
“Not the time for sexual jokes!” HerShe sticks her hand out. “Girl. No wig glue?”
“Well, what- it works?” Carly says, pinning down her wig.
“You just pin it down?” HerShe shivers.
“It works!” Carly yells.
“Well, when the wig is cheap…” Shiseido shrugs, looking over. “It’s not a lace front.”
“I ONLY wear lace fronts.” HerShe smiles.
“Not everyone can afford this.” Francesca looks over. “It’s also about how you show case it. I don’t have time to prepare- but perhaps later you can learn a tip.”
“I just..” Carly shrugs. “I kinda have gotten used to coming here, delivering and showcasing myself. It is not just about the look.”
“Well, you’re wrong about that.” Shisedo says, turning over to look at her.
“What do you mean?” Carly says, putting on a tie.
“I think you actively put on this drag persona, you shouldn’t be a pretty girl, who will wear a nice dress and call it a day.” Shisedo starts. “And in fact, as someone who has come here, been in the business for YEARS…”
Molly rolls her eyes.
“What you’re doing is disrespectful.” Shiseido shrugs. “And moreover, it’s just… boring.”
“Look is somewhat important-”
“That’s not what you said.” Shisedo says.
“I-” Carly starts.
“You SAID, you don’t care about the look. And drag has always- yes, it’s had it’s roots in performance, but the 90s? The looks, the style, the performance, the history, the reason I’VE SURVIVED- through being an artist, clearly something you don’t know.” Shiseido spits out.
“That’s a lot of emotion.” Carly says awkwardly. “I was just-”
“No, clearly you don’t get IT!” Shiseido yells, her voice cracking.
“I think you need to calm down.” Ethan looks over, as Shiseido grumbles. “The kid was just painting.”
“Oh, I have a bone to pick with you, too.” Shiseido starts, getting up. “You were the one person I assumed to pick me, and you didn’t. Why?”
“Because clearly, you’re not a dancer.” Ethan says. “Point blank.”
Shiseido purses her lips. “Fine.”

The room is silent, as the racers look at each other.
Carly Shay Jepsen: “Normally, you see the cast kiki, have fun- but really… it feels like no one here wants to talk to each other. Or feels too.. scared to.”
Shiseido paints, looking pissed.
Carly Shay Jepsen: “Yikes, it’s only week three…”

Hey everyone,
So I am looking into server-side GTM tracking. I know Google Cloud makes it easy but all our clients are on AWS.. which adds a complexity and higher cost it seems.
My question is if anyone has sent the data from AWS to a Google Cloud instance to do this tracking? I am looking for a fast way to do this while AWS drags their feet on some questions I have about their documentation they provide.
I am thinking about the following procedure to test and I wonder if anyone has any feedback before I start, thank you!
A. Set Up Server-Side GTM on Google Cloud
  1. Create a GTM Server-Side Container:
    • In Google Tag Manager, create a new container and select the Server container type.
  2. Deploy the GTM Server Container:
    • Use Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deploy the GTM server container.
    • Follow the instructions in GTM to set up a tagging server on GCP. This typically involves creating a new project, configuring App Engine, and deploying the server-side GTM container.
    • Once deployed, you will receive a URL for your tagging server.
B. Configure AWS Applications to Send Data to GTM Server
  1. Update Your AWS Applications:
    • Modify your AWS-hosted applications to send tracking data to the GTM server-side endpoint hosted on Google Cloud.
    • This usually involves changing the endpoints in your application code or updating your client-side GTM tags to point to the server-side GTM URL.
  2. Modify Client-Side GTM Tags:
    • In your client-side GTM container, update the configuration of your existing tags to send data to the server-side GTM endpoint. For instance, update the Google Analytics tag to forward data to the server-side container.
C. Set Up Data Transfer Between AWS and GTM Server

    • Set up webhooks or APIs in your AWS applications to send events to the GTM server URL.

Following the tracks left by Tevri’s captor was easy enough. Whatever it was that the captor carried left behind a trail of long lines drawn in the moist dirt, carving a wavy trail of depressed grass in its wake. The impression of the claw marks weren’t all that different from that of other birds, with the obvious difference of the impact they left.
I was probably walking straight into a trap; in fact, I knew I was walking straight into a trap. I also knew that I had no choice but to spring it.
My promised support from authorities didn’t arrive as I pushed forward. They doubtlessly would, given enough time, but at the moment, time was a rare commodity and it was slipping through my fingers.
Mud covered my boots and ran up the length of my pants. Sweat soaked the inside of my shirt, and my hair hung like a wet mop from my head. My legs strained beneath me, their muscles burning as I pushed them further than even I knew they could. Nothing could stop me now. Not if I could help it.
The trail led me even deeper into the woods, which for the most part were flat and unchanging. It wasn’t until I practically stumbled into what it was I sought that I stopped — and rather suddenly at that. I had expected some kind of wrecked ship or the remains of a crashed shuttle. Much to my surprise, a small hovel with a roof of grass and walls of dirt mixed with wood took their place.
The shelter wasn’t anything particularly special from what little I could see beneath the light of the moon, but it certainly seemed to do wonders at hiding itself from a distance. If not for the tracks, I likely would have never seen it. Only the door and some faint lights shining through ramshod windows of cracked glass gave it away.
It couldn’t have been up very long. This exterminator had only been out a few months short of a year. That whole time they must have been planning for this exact circumstance. How ‘lucky’ we were to be the ones to fall victim to their trap.
This is it. I looked up to the sky, hoping to see something, anything, but there was nothing other than the pale light of the moon and distant twinkling stars. I didn’t want to do this alone, but I had no other choice. Time was running out. There was no telling what already could have been done to her.
I stood among the shadows of tall, looming trees that fractured what little light the moon offered into thin bands that covered the forest floor. I took a deep breath and leaned back, supporting myself with the trunk of a pine. For once in your life, don’t fuck up. You’ve got one shot—she has one shot. Make it count.
The inside of my mouth was sticky with saliva that had coalesced during my uninterrupted sprint. I dared to take a sip from my canteen, swirling the water around to moisten my mouth and spit out the saliva. With my mouth now cleansed, I took a greedy gulp and let out a gasp before continuing to my rapid, shallow breathing.
As I took a moment to recover, I whipped my bag around from my back and pulled out my handgun, struggling to silently slide in a magazine as my hands trembled. It fell in, and I pulled the slide back and let it go with a heavy metallic click.
Silence. For a few long seconds, I looked up to see if I was heard, but nothing indicated that I had been given away. Gently, I set the bag I had pulled the weapon from beside a tree and raised the sidearm forward, both hands on the handle as I aimed it dead ahead.
The last time I used this thing was a time I would have much rather forgotten, but today wasn’t a day for forgetting. My rifle was an instrument of precision that had picked off the Krakotl from a distance. For those I hadn’t been able to down in a single shot, the far less precise instrument that I now held was terribly effective.
The path forward was a well-trodden one. No grass grew where this exterminator’s footsteps had surely passed by hundreds or even thousands of times. The mud clung to my boots with a soft squelch that I felt more than heard with every step. I had only been standing maybe a hundred feet away from the entrance, and I cleared that distance in a matter of moments despite my slow pace. Nothing seen through the windows indicated motion as I approached. Good. Maybe I’ll catch them off-guard.
Memories of dispatching so many of these exterminators, the memories I saw so often in my dreams, flashed before me like a footage reel. I knew how to handle these bastards. If it came to it, I could do it again.
As I reached the door, I placed an ear against it, listening for anything, but no sound came. Right. Take a deep breath. Focus. Breathe. Just breathe.
With my left hand, I pushed it forward. To my surprise, there was no resistance. With the right hand, I held the gun aloft, pointing it ahead into the darkness.
My heart stopped.
The faint lighting I had caught glimpses of kept most of the single room in darkness, but it was more than enough to illuminate what I was looking at.
Of all the faces in my nightmares, one had haunted me more than any other. I wasn’t exactly well-versed in reading the expression of aliens, but from what little I had learned, fear was an expression that could be read on a universal level. Fear was the last thing I remembered of the child. I spent far too many nights lying awake, wondering to myself what had happened to them after I had let them run free in the forest. Had they frozen to death? Starved maybe? Did another hunter find them, or did something else find them first?
Now I could put such thoughts to rest. The two beady eyes that stared back weren’t filled with fear as they had been the last time I saw them. The plume on their head had also grown, but the feather patterns and beak that had been burned into my mind were still the same.
No… It—it can’t be them. That’s impossible. How did they last this long out here, and alone for that matter?
They held one hand across Tevri’s chest and used the other to press a knife up to her throat. My hands shook as I pointed the weapon directly ahead towards them. I didn’t have a clear shot. They were using Tevri’s body as cover, standing behind her and a makeshift chair.
Tevri’s eyes widened as she saw me and her tail began to wildly flap. A gag was shoved into her mouth, and I could see that she was breathing heavily, trying as best as she could to make up for her lack of nostrils. Despite the excess movement, the exterminator — the child — stood still. To me, their face was indecipherable, other than that uncanny stillness that spoke louder than words. If not for their appearance, I don’t know that I could have said this was the same child.
They nodded my way. “Human. Before you do anything, you should lower your weapon. It’d be a shame if Tevri here was hurt, wouldn’t it?”
Tevri’s shouts were muffled through the gag. Flecks of dried orange coated her forehead and her eyes were far less focused than they normally were. I scowled something fierce, but ultimately complied, aiming the sidearm’s barrel into the dirt.
“Good. See? There’s no reason this needs to get violent.”
My eyes lingered on the blood atop Tevri’s crown. “What did you do to her?”
“Oh, nothing much, but I think I speak for us both when I say Venlil have a tendency to flee. She was never going to come along willingly, and we couldn’t have had that, now could we?” I froze. He knows. He’s been watching us, hasn’t he? He must have seen her go running.
“What do you want, you bastard?”
A huff of air left their beak — is that amusement? “Revenge. Your blood. This wretched world of yours burnt to ash like it should have been ages ago. That would all be nice, but how about something a little more palatable for both of us? I want off this world. Nothing more, nothing less.”
“And you really think I can provide that?”
“I know you can. A warrior as bloodthirsty as yourself has to command the respect of your people, no? You wouldn’t have your own slave if not for that.”
“Slave?! What the fuck!” I growled. “I’m the one in her service, not the other way around.”
“Ah. Right. Of course you are. Now, your hunting party may not be with you now, but I’m going to need you to call in your fellow predators. Oh, and be sure they bring a space-worthy vessel with them.”
“Wha— even if I could get that for you, why the fuck would I do anything you ask?”
As I asked this, the Krakotl tugged on Tevri’s left ear and yanked her head back, driving the dagger even closer to her neck. “This seems like reason enough, wouldn’t you say?”
“Alright, alright!” I raised both hands, pointing the gun to the ceiling rather than the Krakotl. “There’s no reason anyone has to get hurt.”
“You’re right. There isn’t. Now, I’ll tell you what’s going to happen. You are going to call in an FTL capable vessel that I am going to use to escape this planet. To make sure you humans don’t shoot down the craft before I jump, I’ll keep Tevri with me, then allow her to leave using any onboard escape craft before exiting the system. Oh, and for good measure, go ahead and slide that weapon between us, would you?”
The Krakotl didn’t stutter once as he spoke, instead staring me directly in the eyes the entire time. It was unsettling to say the least. Relinquishing my weapon was a terrible idea, no less terrible than letting him take Tevri. I knew that it was, so I stood there delaying my fulfillment of his command. It only took a few seconds of silence however before he pressed the blade closer to her neck, going so far as to dig into the fur that covered her skin.
“Alright! Fine! J-just take that thing away from her throat.”
“Gladly, if you’ll drop the weapon and do as I say.”
I lowered my aim and bowed down, setting the gun on the dirt floor and doing my best to slide it towards the Krakotl. It didn’t go all the way, but it was far enough that I could no longer reach it. As I stood back up, I raised both palms above my head to show I was no longer a threat. “There, now… please, just don’t hurt her.”
The Krakotl scoffed and made an expression that imitated a sneer. “It’s funny, I remember begging just like that not too long ago. Do you remember it?” They pulled away with the dagger, still allowing it to hover close to Tevri’s throat but not close enough to dig into her skin.
I didn’t offer an answer, not that I needed to.
“You probably relished their screams didn’t you? You and the rest of your deranged species can’t help but find joy in the suffering of others. Nishtal. He doesn’t know.
He couldn’t know, not since he’s been down here without contact for months now. “You’re picking the wrong fight kid. The war’s over. Has been for months now.”
“And you think I’m just going to believe you? Tevri here spewed the same propaganda, no doubt heard from you or other humans. It’s not possible. We far outnumber your pathetic forces. You barely survived the battle above your planet and that was only because your Arxur allies swooped in at the last moment to save you.”
“They weren’t the only ones to support us,” I spat back. “After the truth of the shadow council’s crimes against sapient life came to light, former members of the Federation flocked to our aid. The Zurulians, the Yotul, the Venlil, they all helped us in taking down the same bastards that destroyed their culture and broke their people with that damned cure.”
The Krakotl growled. “You’re lying.”
“And you’re delusional! I’ll gladly try and get you that ship for all the good that it’ll do you once you get to Nishtal, but the world you left behind doesn’t exist anymore.”
The kid screeched, pointing the knife my way rather than towards Tevri. Good. That’s it. Focus on me instead of her.
“SHUT UP! JUST—SHUT UP!” The composure he had seemed so full of moments ago melted away to reveal his manic state. He was far too calm before. This attitude better matched his actions.
“No more of that shit. No more of your lies. I’m not having any of it! If you value your pet’s life, I’d suggest you give the propaganda a rest before I trigger that blood instinct of yours.” He returned the makeshift knife to her throat, erasing any sense of satisfaction I had taken from seeing his true nature reveal itself.
I nodded. Okay, just stay still. As much as it might sting, you’ve just gotta listen to what he wants. For Tevri. This is all for Tevri.
“Good, Now, go ahead and call in that transport.”
“I’ve not called one in, not that I could if I wanted to, but I’ve called some folks who might have access to one.”
“Good. I suppose we wait for them then.”
“Right, well I’ve done what you asked. Could I… Can I speak with her?”
The Krakotl scoffed. “I’ve waited almost a full year for this. You can wait a little longer to speak with your pet.”
With every use of that word I could feel the rage within me begin to boil over and spill out. Control yourself. For her sake. “So help me if you call her that one more time I will—”
“You’ll what? Kill me? As skilled of a hunter as you may be human, I guarantee you, my talon is quicker than anything you could attempt.” As if to display this fact, they spun the knife around in their hand once only to press it back up against Tevri’s neck once more, eliciting muffled squeaks. Her eyes darted back and forth, to him with fear and to me with pleading.
My brow furrowed as I stared daggers at the Krakotl. “She’s not a pet.”
“Sure. Whatever you say. Not that I will, or even can, take your word for it.”
It was as he said this that it finally hit me. How I hadn’t realized it before, I chalked up to whatever sense of urgency and the panic that drove me to confront the child. But it was clear now. There was no point in negotiating. To this child, I was nothing but a monster. He would only accept absolute cooperation from my end. Nothing less, nothing more.
I can’t let him just take her. Who’s to say he won’t go back on his word and take her with him to Nishtal? It’s not exactly federation space anymore, but it certainly isn’t within UN jurisdiction either. I’ve got to get her away from him.
A terrible silence fell between us both as we waited. With my gun now out of reach, I had next to no options for helping Tevri escape his clutches. This was only confirmed as my gaze darted throughout the room searching for anything I might be able to take advantage of. There wasn’t much to take note of. This hovel consisted of a single room, of which every wall was packed dirt. A small nest made of twig and torn up fabric rested in the back right corner of the room while a makeshift table made of wood that looked to have been reclaimed from park benches was shoved against the wall to my left. The two windows I had seen earlier allowed a small amount of moonlight to filter inside while allowing the dull light of a nearby lamp to escape in turn. The seat that Tevri now sat in was no less primitive than the workbench, with each leg being nailed together using small branches and more pieces of reclaimed wood. Out of everything there though, nothing could help me in any way, not that I could reach for anything before the Krakotl reacted by sealing Tevri’s fate.
I felt stupid, standing there as the Krakotl’s gaze bored into me, but there was nothing I could do. I had no choice but to wait for backup and hope against hope that they could somehow negotiate for her release.
I moved on from looking for solutions and instead settled on Tevri. Her chest heaved with exertion from the heavy breaths that the gag demanded of her, and her eyes were stuck in a state of perpetual wideness. Her tail sat still, and both ears stuck up straight. The wool on her head was matted with mud and blood, while thin scrapes of orange marked her forearms and ankles.
We locked eyes, me and her. The Venlil’s orange irises quivered as she did, and shone as a light among our dim surroundings. Then, for a split second, they looked down to something. I stood still, confused for a moment until she repeated the gesture. It wasn’t until the third time that she repeated the motion that what she meant dawned upon me.
The Krakotl’s gaze was still focused upon me. This didn’t change as my own view shifted down at a pace slow enough to not draw his immediate attention. I saw a flash of movement from behind Tevri’s back.
Were those… no, it can’t be. I could have sworn I just saw her hand peeking out. This wasn’t all. A length of rope dangled beneath her legs. The end was frayed, no, not frayed. It was cut.
Smart girl. Those claws of hers were sharper than I thought. They were also sharper than the Krakotl thought as was all too apparent. Okay, I can work with this.
As I looked up, I saw that the Krakotl’s focus hadn’t shifted. He didn’t notice Tevri’s handiwork. Right. If I can just find a distraction to get that knife away from her throat, she can get out of harm’s way.
“So, uh, what’s your name kid?”
“What’s it to you?” he asked, narrowing his eyes.
“Only curious. If we want to solve all of this without violence like you’re saying, maybe it’d help to know each other’s name.”
His glare softened, if only somewhat. “Omopaulim. Though I’d prefer Omo.”
“Right,” I said, pressing a flat palm against my chest. “And I’m Jack.”
The Krakotl only gave a grunt of acknowledgement as a response.
“So, anything that you would like to know about me while we wait?”
“No,” he said flatly.
Right. He probably thinks he already knows everything he needs to. “Oh come on, there’s got to be something.”
He paused this time before responding. “Fine, I’ll peck. Why did you do it?”
“Do what?”
“You murdered my only companion in this world. What would compel you to do something like that?”
I hadn’t expected him to ask the question so bluntly, even if it was one I had anticipated. “Despite what you might say, we humans do have empathy. I was like you are now when the bombs that your fleet dropped took my brother: lost, scared, broken, hurting. Hell, I still am.”
If my words had any impression upon the kid, it wasn’t an apparent one. I kept going anyway.
“But you and your people were right about one thing with us. We can be dangerous. We don’t need to be though. We don’t want to either. But, when you hurt a human just wrong enough, you’re only asking for trouble.”
“You would have been trouble anyways if we hadn’t had the foresight to deal with you as early as we did.”
I shook my head. “You’re wrong. We humans, we only ever wanted to meet others like us out there. If you and your people hadn’t showed up on our planet’s doorstep with bombs in tow, you’d still be home with your family, living the life that should have been yours.”
“And if you and your people had gone extinct centuries ago like you should have—“ As Omo said this, he took the knife from Tevri’s throat and pointed it at me.
He was interrupted mid sentence as the back of Tevri’s head slammed against his beak and he was sent reeling. With that, Tevri leapt forward, toppling the chair and throwing herself into the dirt. With her surprisingly strong legs, she managed to clear most of the distance between us.
I rushed forward to pick her up, earning an ear flick of acknowledgement as I yanked the gag from her mouth. “Thanks,” she said with hoarseness to her voice. “I—” A loud screech in the form of Omo interrupted her. The young exterminator rushed towards both of us with his knife pointed at me.
Without a moment’s hesitation, I stood back to my full height and ran to meet the Krakotl rather than let him approach us first.
Omo lunged, attempting to plunge the knife into my abdomen. For the bragging of how dextrous he was with the blade, it was clear he had little to no experience when it came to actual combat. This didn’t mean he couldn’t still be deadly. The knife flicked past me, cutting through the air and striking nothing. He tried again, with slightly more success, managing to slice open my clothes and nick my waist as I danced to the side just in time.
As he extended his arm to make the attack, my hand shot out and seized the wrist that held his makeshift weapon. With a sharp twist, the Omo cried out in pain and dropped it. A single punch decked the kid, and I pounced, making sure to pin him.
He fought back as best he could, but the comparative size between us left no room for competition. I continued to whale on him, throwing punch after punch, each landing home. The last of them spawned a spiraling web of cracks that branched out from the point where my fist met his beak. Despite the blows, he was still up and kicking, screeching and scratching at my arms with his claws.
“P-please,” he sputtered, spitting up violet blood as he spoke. “Don’t—Hrrk“
My hands wrapped around his long neck and squeezed. His eyes bulged from their sockets and his beak opened wide as he struggled to breathe. My grip tightened as he scrambled and clawed at my hands, trying and failing to free himself.
Any sentiment of sympathy for him was washed away by the adrenaline surging through my veins. With every attempt of his flailing talons to swipe at my hands and arms, my grip grew tighter around his throat. I dug my knee into his abdomen, forcing the air from his lungs as I put the full weight of my body against his chest.
He deserves this! Look what he did to her! He could have killed her!
He deserved to die for what he did to her. She was innocent and he could have killed her for nothing more than associating with me. Tevri never could have known about what I did, yet here she was, drugged to high hell and dragged through the woods by this bastard that couldn’t learn to change.
Every time I had killed an exterminator all those months ago, I had made certain my job was done. No loose ends were left, and the town and those I cared about were safe because of it — well, all loose ends but one.
A snarl escaped my lips as I watched the Krakotl’s eyes begin to fade and his struggle grew weaker and weaker. His hands no longer scratched at mine, reaching away from me instead as if he was trying to find some escape. He would find none.
“Stop!” Tevri’s cry cut through the haze of rage. “He’s harmless now! J-just let him go!” I swung around to look at her, and she flinched as I locked eyes with her. The same terror that I had inspired mere hours ago was plastered across her. It was this that yanked me back to reality — to the reality of what I was doing. What was I doing?
My grip loosened, but didn’t relent entirely. Oh fuck. I—I’m doing it again.
Yes. You’re doing it for her, just as you did it for Nick.
For her? Look at her! She’s petrified just standing near you! She’s asked—no, begged you to stop. Can you really excuse this as being for her?
He was with the ones who bombed Earth. He deserves the same fate.
Does he? He’s a kid. Do you really think he was the one to pull the lever? To issue their commands? To muster their fleet?
He’s complicit.
He’s a child*.*
If you take his life, you’ll prove that he and the federation were right. You’d be the monster he thinks you are. He’s helpless. His death by your hands would be murder and nothing less.
So, what will it be then? What are you?
What am I?
I’ve killed before. I’d kill again if I had to, but this… this is different. Even if it was a loose justification, I had something to drive my rampage against the Krakotl. This kid though… they’re helpless against me.
“Please!” croaked Tevri. Her voice was strained and on the verge of breaking as she pleaded with me.
You might not be able to undo your actions, but you can choose to not perpetuate them. This child had suffered enough. You have suffered enough. End the cycle. Be better.
My clenched hands gave way as the tension holding the Krakotl’s neck was released. Omo gasped, coughing haggardly immediately after taking in a breath.
I looked at my hands. Crimson rivers trickled down them from where my forearms had been scratched and scraped by Krakotl claws. Droplets of violet speckled them, but for the most part, the blood was my own.
After poring over my hands, I turned to Tevri, whose tear-filled eyes and terrible condition tugged at my heart. She didn’t speak, but she didn’t need to. She had already done enough.
It was her guidance that helped me make this choice. If she even cared to talk to me after this was all over, it was my hope that she could only continue to better me.
She was panting, her mouth left agape as she tried to catch up on the breath lost by the gag covering her mouth. She looked better though. Then again, it isn’t difficult to look better after you’ve been tied up and held hostage.
Despite it all, despite everything, I gave a weak chuckle and smiled. She wasn’t nearly as capable of smiling as a human, but her lips turned up and her ears stuck upright as her tail flicked behind her.
I-I think that’s a good sign. Maybe things will turn out alright after—
My thought was interrupted as a thunderous bang reverberated through the room.
My ears rang. I saw Tevri’s mouth open, but didn’t hear anything come from it. The brief return to something resembling a comfortable state was shattered, and fear once again constituted her countenance.
It took a moment for reality to catch back up to me. I thought I was safe. I thought we were safe. It was idiotic of me not to remain vigilant considering that this kid had been attempting to stab me mere moments ago, but reveling in my moment of self-triumph had been a bit too much.
I went from sitting on my knees to screaming and scrambling backward across the ground. My hand shot to my abdomen where a stab of pain sprouted from nothing. Heat began to form where the pain originated, and as I looked down, I watched a red spot grow beneath my shirt.
The shot came from Omo, who lay on his back with both claws holding up the same weapon that I had once threatened him with. His eyes were wide, and his face was a terrible mess of blood and bruises. More than a few feathers had fallen free during our scuffle, and those spots were just as apparent.
Tevri stood still, shock and fear taking over her body. The relief at being pried from the Krakotl’s clutches was just as quickly warped into terror.
Omo stood himself up on wobbly legs as I scooted backwards, pressing myself against the wall in an attempt to put as much distance between us as I could manage. Another indecipherable expression coated his face, though it was different from the last. He ignored Tevri and walked past her towards me.
The gun I had tossed aside was held up in both hands. It was far too big for him, but he managed to wield it, pointing its barrel into the dirt.
“I would have thought you’d be a better hunter than to let your prey get the upper hand like this.” His voice was weak and hoarse, but the conviction he spoke with was audible even through my translator.
“You could have killed me, but you didn’t. Why? Why kill Maiatim but stop to give me mercy? Twice!”
The Krakotl still sucked in ragged breaths of air, but as he stopped, he raised the weapon and aimed it directly at my head.
“I—I won’t make the same mistake. You’re too dangerous to be left alive. I can’t say I’m sorry for this, b-but I do regret that it had to be this way. Goodbye, Jack.”
I would’ve been lying if I said I was ready to go. My parents certainly wouldn’t take the news well, not after they had already lost their other son. I doubted my friends would take it much better either. I had no control over how others would react to my passing, but if the general attitude of those in Healy towards aliens was anything to go by, they wouldn’t react well. Atop the pile of all these worries, the prospect of leaving Tevri behind almost hurt more than the growing pain in my abdomen.
She’s strong. She didn’t need you before you met her, and she sure as hell won’t when you’re gone.
You did your best. You changed. Even if you couldn’t stop the violence, you chose to quit participating in it. The sidearm shook as Omo's trembling claw wrapped around the trigger. I closed my eyes, waiting for the inevitable.
The seconds stretched; every beat of my heart lasted minutes, every breath took hours. I had heard of your life flashing before your eyes, but I wasn’t a believer of such experiences until now.
As time slowed, I saw my childhood, the years spent with Nick, our summers spent together goofing off and spending long nights talking beneath the stars as we ignored any semblance of a curfew set by Ma and Pa. I saw us attending school together, me standing up for him against those who dared push him around and the flak I always caught for it. Pa was proud though, and that was all that mattered to me. I sat through every failed relationship I’d ever had, each of which I was probably better off for not having followed through with. I watched through my own eyes as we celebrated Nick’s graduation and acceptance into university, then struggled to stand by as I told him to leave home behind in the pursuit of something greater. The rampage that ensued following his death was just as vivid as ever, every death, every kill, played back as though it were recorded and transmitted back to me. And last, but certainly not least, there were the events of the last week or so.
A hard, crack and thunk were followed by yet another deafening boom.
If this was death, then it wasn’t as bad as I had thought. I was still pretty sore, and that pain in my side hadn’t gone away yet. My heart was still beating and my breaths were still ragged. The stale, earthy air continued to flow in and out of my nose.
For all my lack of belief in religion, I could have sworn I saw an angel wreathed in light as I cracked open my eyes. The figure only grew in brilliance the further my eyes opened — that is until recognition dawned upon me.

I did too! But when I needed to enrich data with ClearBit and received a $30k/year offer from their team, I realized that’s too much in today's world when data is everywhere.

So I found a workaround using no-code automation tools and API integrations that helped me achieve the same result without the high cost.
By the way, I’m Daniel Vasilyeu, a no-code enthusiast, here to show you how to enrich data and provide you with a ready-to-go solution to implement in your workflow. Let’s dive in!
But what is data enrichment?
What we usually know about our customers – their emails, for sure. The data enrichment process allows us to use emails as input and get a wide range of information as output. This enriched data includes, for example:
-Job titles
-Geography
-Personal social media accounts, and much more…
This is crucial for gaining deeper customer insights and making better decisions.
My cost-effective data enrichment experience
As I mentioned earlier, it’s all about no-code automation and APIs. In my case, I used two tools to achieve the same result ClearBit and Hubspot suggested for $30k:
-Account on Apollo.io that has a data enrichment API ($49/mo)
-Scenario on the automation platform Latenode.com that calls Apollo’s API ($17/mo)
-Account on HubSpot CRM to send and receive enriched data (you already have this)
What is a no-code automation platform and why is it needed? It allows you to link services through APIs, making it much cheaper than using direct integration. So, I created a script that takes data from HubSpot, enriches it, and returns it back.

Webhook Request from HubSpot
Our first node accepts Webhook requests from HubSpot. You need to set up these requests in HubSpot "workflows" to automatically send data to an external Webhook URL.

Apollo Enrichment
  1. The second node sends customer emails from HubSpot CRM to Apollo's API for enrichment. We use the email as input and get detailed information in return, including personal geography and corporate social network URLs. For our purposes, we'll focus on retrieving the Job Title. This enriched data helps analyze customer preferences and needs, improving the customer experience significantly.
Aggregating Job Titles for Insights
  1. The third node aggregates job titles based on criteria such as open dates without closing dates, indicating ongoing roles. This provides a clear view of job titles like "advisor" or "founder" across projects or departments, helping analyze workforce dynamics and resource allocation.

Job Title Validation and Enrichment
  1. The fourth node checks if the job title is present in HubSpot CRM. If it's empty, the fifth node adds the job titles gathered in the third node. This process ensures high-quality data, enabling a tailored approach to each customer without significant costs.

2024.05.28 15:39 Kernel_Mustard_ Openstack Horizon : WebSSO login seems to redirect to an invalid path in Keystone API

I have an Openstack (yoga) cluster that was installed using kolla-ansible version 14.1.0.
I'm trying to set up OpenIDConnect to login through the Horizon interface and I therefore followed this documentation.
The problem I'm experiencing is that when trying to connect via the new identity provider I set up, I get sent to this URL, which responds 404 :
http://:5000/auth/OS-FEDERATION/identity_providers//protocols/openid/websso?origin=http:///auth/websso/
From what I can gather there is a /v3/ missing at the beginning of the path, and it should instead be :
http://:5000/v3/auth/OS-FEDERATION/identity_providers//protocols/openid/websso?origin=http:///auth/websso/
And when I manually enter that url it successfully sends me to the identity provider to continue the login process.
I do not know where this is coming from. As far as I can tell by looking up the documentation the URL should be with a /v3/ but I do not get where this wrong URL comes from in my installation.

I do too! But when I needed to enrich data with ClearBit and received a $30k/year offer from their team, I said no. That’s too much in today's world when data is everywhere.

So I found a workaround using low-code automation tools and API integrations that helped me achieve the same result without the high cost.
By the way, I’m Daniel Vasilyeu, an automation enthusiast, here to show you how to enrich data and provide you with a ready-to-go solution to implement in your work. Let’s go!
But what is data enrichment?
What we usually know about our customers – that’s their emails for sure. And the data enrichment process allows us to use emails as an input, and get a wide range of information as an output. This output would be enriched data, such as, for example:
  • job titles
  • geo
  • personal social media accounts and much more…
This is crucial for gaining deeper customer insights and making better decisions.
My cost-effective data enrichment experience
As I said before, its all about low-code automation and APIs, in my case, I used two tools to achieve the same result ClearBit and Hubspot suggested for 30 grands:
– Account on Apollo.io that has data enrichment API ($49/mo)
– Scenario on automation platform Latenode.com that calls Apollo’s API ($17/mo)
– Account on Hubspot CRM to send and receive enriched data (you already have it)
What is a low-code automation platform and why is it needed? It allows you to link services through APIs, making it much cheaper than using direct integration. So, I created a script that takes data from HubSpot, enriches it, and returns it back.

But what do all these nodes do? Here’s the steps:
1.Our first node accepts Webhook requests from HubSpot.
You need to set up these requests in HubSpot "workflows" to automatically send data to an external Webhook URL.

This integration keeps systems updated with the latest customer information, removing the need for manual data entry and reducing errors.
2.Apollo Enrichment
The second node sends customer emails from HubSpot CRM to Apollo's API for enrichment. We use the email as input and get detailed information in return, including personal geography and corporate social network URLs. For our purposes, we'll focus on retrieving the Job Title. This enriched data helps analyze customer preferences and needs, improving the customer experience significantly.
3. Aggregating Job Titles for Insights
The third node aggregates job titles based on criteria such as open dates without closing dates, indicating ongoing roles. This provides a clear view of job titles like "advisor" or "founder" across projects or departments, helping analyze workforce dynamics and resource allocation.

4. Job Title Validation and Enrichment
The fourth node checks if the job title is present in HubSpot CRM. If it's empty, the fifth node adds the job titles gathered in the third node. This process ensures high-quality data, enabling a tailored approach to each customer without significant costs.

I am working on integrating Google OAuth2 with my application. I can successfully sign in and receive a working access token and refresh token. I can use the access token to create events in Google Calendar. However, I encounter issues when trying to refresh the access token.

My friends and I encounter some of the most atrocious chunkloading on my server - at times we'd be on the edge between land and a void where another chunk should be and a few seconds would pass until the one adjacent chunk loads.

Struggling with tracking on the v3 pro. My hand seems to be dragging quite a lot. Large hands, seem to track better with the gpx2
The less steep rear slope seems to have a pretty big affect on me. Anyone else?

2024.05.27 23:32 csreynolds84 Unbound devs: please invest in Story mode content/improvements alongside multiplayer

It goes without saying that the post-launch support for Unbound's multiplayer mode has been great, and I both thank and applaud the development team for their continued efforts.
However, I feel this game's Story mode needs the same love.
In the most recent AMA, it was implied that Story might get some love at some point, but we're into Season 7 and still nothing.
Why couldn't we have Drag events added to Story? All of the online Drag events could be dumped into Story as Activities, for example, where we could pull up to spots Rivals style and activate a best-of-3 point-to-point with three AI racers.
(I also noticed Drift Pro tyres and events are exclusive to online?)
Even if adding events isn't possible, there are some much-requested ways to improve single-player mode that remain unaddressed:
I really enjoy this game, and as much as I enjoy multiplayer, sometimes I want to play alone, and by comparison it's a less enjoyable experience because of the cash grind and lack of new things to do.
Anyone else with me?

My 1983 KX250 Project
Little post on my 1983 Kawasaki KX250. Dragged it out from beside a barn about 8 months ago and been working hard on it ever since. Was in a pile of 6 other Kawasakis, but was the only one with radiators and gold accents so I knew it was something cool.
Bike was mostly complete with the exception of the fuel tank, side panels, and the seat. Engine was seized up, but managed to get it free with some WD-40. Decided to bring it back to life after finding a fuel tank on eBay.
A ton of work went into this thing over the last little while. Engine was rebuilt, but I was able to reuse a lot of the components. Crankshaft and rod were reused, transmission was completely reused, even the clutch was reused. All that was replaced was the bearings, seals and gaskets along with a top end. Cylinder was inspected, honed and reused as well. I had the entire engine vapor blasted after getting nowhere with scotch-brite. Well worth the money.
Frame was powder coated, but the swingarm was left untouched. I couldn't find anyone in my area that does small-scale anodizing and didn't want to lose that brushed gold look. So I simply cleaned it and put it back on with some fresh bearings. Same goes for the linkage and the front wheel. If I can find someone to do them then I'll have it done later.
The rear wheel ended up being a lemon. The rim was okay, but the hub was cracked and the bearing bores were all chewed up. After a lot of research and cross-referencing part numbers I ended up with a wheel off a KX500. Even had the same gold colour. Both wheels have some pretty heavy corrosion so they will likely need replacement in the future, but at least it gets this thing rolling for now.
The suspension was all rebuilt as well. It was my first time touching suspension internals so it was a little overwhelming at first. Especially since there's next to no info on these bikes that I could find. Forks went together super easy and work great with the exception of the Schraders on the top leaking. Still need to source them.
The rear shock was a different story. The shock shaft was worn out and wouldn't hold a seal. I was tearing my hair out for weeks trying to find a replacement. Even looked into having a new shaft built, but no dice. Ended up doing a bunch more part number crossing and found that the KDX200 has the same shock body. Took a gamble and ordered a used one off eBay. Fit perfect with the exception of some different valving down below. I didn't put the stack together correctly though so there's no damping currently but at least it gets the bike on it's own two feet for now.
Was able to find a seat and new body panels from DCVMX along with oem decals and old school aftermarket decals to match the era this bike is from. Goal is to make it look like an MX race bike fresh out of 1983.
It's still a work in progress but it does run and ride for the most part. Still need the rear brakes hooked up and an air filter cover. Also need chain guides and the shock re-done.
Hope you guys like it! I'll post some more on this bike as it progresses. I can get a video of it running soon too.
