Titanus Oryol:
TITANUS ORYOL ADDED TO MONARCH REGISTRY
Monarch Designation: Titanus Oryol
Other Designations: Hallucinoboa magindara, Horned Serpent, Acid Trip Snake
Nature: Bio-Hallucinogenic
Place of Emergence: Thiruvanmiyur, India
Titanus Oryol is a serpentine Titan that unlike many others, was discovered recently, way after the Mass Awakening. As such, our understanding of Oryol is not 100% complete. This Titan was discovered asleep underneath the neighborhood Thiruvanmiyur, located in Chennai, India.
In Phillipine mythology, Oryol was said to be a serpent creature that despite her reptilian appearance, has helped out a hero in one story. In it, a man named Handyong who hailed from a place called Ibalon (located in modern-day Magallanes, Philippines) set out to protect his people from numerous monsters that terrified the land. However there was one beast he couldn’t slay: Oryol, who appeared to him as a beautiful woman with a seductive voice. She actually accompanied Handyong on his quest of making the land safe by killing the hostile monsters that ruled, and she seemed to admire the hero’s bravery.
While not able to transform into a woman, the actual Titan is very serpentine in appearance, with phylogenetic bracketing linking her to be related to the venomous Gaboon viper (Bitis gabonica), and like it, possesses venom. Unlike it, Oryol possesses a pair of scaly horns pointing from its head (most likely this Titan is what inspired the legend of the Horned Serpent in various Native American mythology, as shown by a fossil of Oryol’s species was found underneath a Muscogee reservation in Tennessee). These horns are used for defense, but they along with the Titan’s tail have a special ability. They are linked via a specialized organ that secretes a substance on whatever surface the Titan is on. Monarch speculates these are used to mark Oryol’s territory. However these secretions have hallucinogenic effects, as reported by Monarch staff who investigated them. Such visions from these secretions vary, but one staff member claimed to see a beautiful woman in place of the Titan’s head. If this is a default effect of the secretions, it may explain why in legend Oryol was like that.
Currently, she lies dormant underneath Thiruvanmiyur, and Monarch has established an outpost around her to contain the Titan.

...Because closer to us ? And here is one more source/ work platform , Philippines demigods: " In the indigenous religions originating from the Philippines, collectively called Anitism, demigods abound in various ethnic stories. Many of these demigods equal major gods and goddesses in power and influence. Notable examples include Mayari, the Tagalog moon goddess who governs the world every night,[13][14] Tala, the Tagalog star goddess,[15] Hanan, the Tagalog morning goddess,[16] Apo Anno, a Kankanaey demigod hero,[17] Oryol, a Bicolano half-snake demi-goddess who brought peace to the land after defeating all beasts in Ibalon,[18] Laon, a Hiligaynon demigod who can talk to animals and defeated the mad dragon at Mount Kanlaon,[19] Ovug, an Ifugao thunder and lightning demigod who has separate animations in both the upper and earth worlds,[20] Takyayen, a Tinguian demigod and son of the star goddess Gagayoma,[21] and the three Suludnon demigod sons of Alunsina, namely Labaw Dongon, Humadapnon, and Dumalapdap.[22] "
