I am looking to put together a game of Coriolis: The Third Horizon. It is a game from Free League Publishing and uses the Year Zero Engine. It is a Science Fiction Space Opera game that borrows heavily from Middle Eastern culture and Persian lore. If you want to know more about the game and setting, I have a few resources. Coriolis – The Third Horizon is a role-playing game set in space. There are ships, space stations and starry vistas, just like in any other space-themed RPG. What separates Coriolis from other sci-fi RPGs is first and foremost the social environment, which in Coriolis is strongly inspired by the Middle East. The unique features of the game are listed below. ARABIAN NIGHTS – IN SPACE The Coriolis world is inspired by Middle Eastern culture rather than the Western one. Food, music and fashion, as well as religion, philosophy and literature. Most importantly, myths and folk tales from the Middle East deeply entwine with the spirit of the game world. The Third Horizon is a world where ancient myth meets high technology. THE OLD VERSUS THE NEW A central theme to Coriolis is the conflict between the Firstcome, the Horizon’s earliest settlers, and the Zenithians, descendants to the second wave of colonists arriving onboard the Zenith. Although the Firstcome had already established their culture throughout the Horizon when Zenith arrived, the Zenithians have grown to dominate more and more in the last decades, through trade, hostile expansion and colonization. The Zenithians’ cultural imperialism is a key factor in the conflict between the Consortium – a Zenithian faction – and the Firstcome Order of the Pariah. MYSTICISM AND ICON WORSHIP Worship of the Icons permeates everything in the world of Coriolis. The religion is the smallest common denominator for peoples of the Third Horizon. While faith is strongest with the Firstcome, especially so amongst the ranks of the Church of the Icons and the Order of the Pariah, the recently arrived Zenithians have too converted to worshipping the Icons in large numbers. The level of religious commitment varies, from the superstitious hauler crew praying to the Traveler before a portal jump, to missionaries zealously devoted to the holiest of struggles, saving the Horizon one soul at a time. THE DARK BETWEEN THE STARS The omens have foretold it, and the clergy have preached it for a long time now: the Dark between the Stars – the unspeakable, corrupting force at work in the intersection between civilization and the endless nothingness of space – seems to be real. In Coriolis, the Dark between the Stars plays roughly the role of the Devil in Earth’s Christianity.

Adventure Hook: It was supposed to be an easy jump. You had the coordinates all plotted out, and jumped through the portal in the wake of a large ice hauler and with a number of other ships. You were on your way back from your first mission in your new ship, proud to have come back from that in one piece. But something... Something went wrong. Something IS wrong. You awake from cryosleep to find the stars in an entirely different position than they should be, in a system you don't recognize, and your computer's klaxons are screaming warning after warning. It's going to be a real bitch to figure out what went wrong, but at least you have your crew to help. For now. Once you figure out where you are, you'll need to then figure out what happened to your ship and what you need to do to get out of this damned system.

(For context, we’ve been dating a year. Both early 30s. We do not live together.)
In the past we’ve talked about how I think they’re important and he doesn’t really think they’re a big deal. And I kinda thought we came to an agreement to acknowledge them, but he still doesn’t try that hard in my opinion.
I do try to consider that his best effort might not be the same as my best effort. But even then, I still feel disappointed.
I don’t expect or want fancy dinners and expensive gifts. I want effort. I want to be thought of. I don’t want to be a last minute task.
For Christmas he gave me two things he already owned. One of them I really loved and thought was sweet. And the other thing he hyped up as some super important sentimental thing to him, even though I had never seen it or heard him talk about. I got him 3 things he wanted and he loved them and was so happy.
For Valentine’s Day, he got me a card the day before and wrote it out in front of me. I got him a card and a small gift.
My birthday was this week and he made me a card and gave me a switch game and a little trinket I liked that he kept on his desk. He again kinda hyped up the trinket as being important. I feel like the switch game doesn’t even count as a gift because we had already agreed to swap games because I bought one I didn’t like and couldn’t return it.
Money has kind of been an issue for him lately because of his car. On top of the car trouble he’s been having to Uber everywhere and that adds up.
But I feel like even if he had a ton of money he would still do this.
When he got his tax return back he spent some of it on a $600 guitar, despite having 3 other guitars. I don’t know why he couldn’t set aside $30, $20, or even $10 to get me something.
Also, I’m not the type of person that expects people to read my mind. I’ll let my family/friends know what I want for birthdays and stuff. I don’t create these grand hopes in my head and be disappointed when people don’t magically do them. I’m pretty practical. For example, last Christmas I asked my mom to get me an oven thermometer lol.
I wanna talk to him about it but I wanted to vent about it first. I don’t want to come off as ungrateful, but I wanna speak my feelings. I feel like I often set the bar low for people and end up getting trampled on.

Ok, so this is pretty wild, but I'm prepping for my very first dnd campaign that I'd be dming, and while I was trying to think up something interesting for the campaign's premise, I thought up a really cool idea: all the players play martial classes and don't use spellcasting. Rather, they have to organically learn about a new, homebrewed magic system to replace the spell slots system.
I've been hammering away at this idea for quite a while, addressing every problem I could think of. It's gone through several different versions, and I thought that I'd write down the most recent iteration of the idea and send it to a couple different DnD homebrew forums to get feedback
This magic system works off of 'Mustering Energy'. The campaign takes place in a world completely devoid of magic, where arcane forces are alien to the people of this world. Suddenly, a black smog begins to overtake the world, with this cloud rotting everything it touches. The only safe places in the world are kingdoms atop high mountains, since this cloud is heavy and sinks to the ground; that is, until the undead begin to scale the mountains, plunging the world into deeper crisis. Amidst this apocalypse, four adventurers of mysterious backgrounds are inflicted with wounds from strange magical beasts. These wounds infect the players, endangering their lives, but also enchants their bodies, letting them pump magic through them like blood and invoke their powers to bend the elements around them. What is the mystery behind these arcane animals? Where did this dark smog come from? What can be achieved with these mystical abilities our adventurers have obtained, and more importantly, what is the cost? These kinds of questions are the things that I want to use to intruege my players, and the magic system should contribute to answering these questions and, more importantly, building up a good mystery along the way to the answer. Those are my goals with the magic system.

Elements

In my story, the magic system is divided into the controlling of 4 elements. But these elements aren't going to be the material elements of fire, water, air, etc. Rather, they're 4 fundamental elements of reality that ensure the laws of physics and such maintain consistent.

• The Element of Energy, also known as the Red Lightning, represents one half of the energy cycle. It controls heat, movement, speed, and the transfer of energies. It manifests as arcing bolts of plasma and electricity, glowing a deep red.
• The Element of Inertia, also known as the Radiant Frost, is the Red Lightning's counterpart, representing the other half of the energy cycle. While Red Lightning is the gain of energy, Radiant Frost is the loss of it. It controls the cold, slowing of objects, the halting of processes, and the calming of energies. It manifests as glowing beams of icy-white light, cold to the touch.
• The Element of Bonding, also known as the Bonding Bubbles (favorite name of the bunch), represents one half of the material cycle. The first two elements represented hot and cold, fire and ice, and the two halves of the energy cycle, but the Element of Bonding represents the cycle that the material world goes through. The Bonding Bubbles control chemical reactions, the bonding of molecules, the mixing of ingredients, fusion of objects and mending of wounds. It manifests itself as viscous blue bubbles, performing alchemy within its soapy interior.
• The Element of Decay, also known as the Decaying Breath, represents the other half of the material cycle, and is the Bonding Bubbles' counterpart. It represents the breaking down of materials, erosion, aging, and death, but also the recycling of resources, the decomposition of dead organisms into nutrient-rich soils, and new life after death. It manifests itself as a black, gaseous smoke, and the dark smog that has descended over the world is made up of this element.

Each of these four elements will basically be a different 'school of magic'. Decaying Breath will have necromancy-inspired abilities, Bonding Bubbles will have some transmutation and abjuration, some healing too, the Red Lightning will have a whole ton of evocation, while Radiant Light also has transmutation and evocation. But they're not specifically bound by these categories, I'm just using the pre-existing DnD schools of magic to sum up what to expect from each element.
OK!! Now that the plot is finally done with, we can get to the actual mechanics of the homebrew!!!!

Mustering Energy

The main mechanic in this homebrewed magic system will be Mustering Energy Lvls. The players will be able to conjure forth energies from their bodies that would then swirl around their bodies. An Energy Lvl is a representation of the intensity of these energies, with the players getting to choose how many Energy Lvls they put into a spell in order to decide the spell's intensity. You can consider these an expendable resource, like Sorcery Points. However, before a player can use an Energy Lvl, they have to first Muster it. 'Mustering' an Energy Lvl takes a bonus action, and it basically preps the Energy Lvl for use, drawing the energy out of the character's body so that they can cast with it. Finally, once it's spent, a player can regain their Energy Lvls by spending taking the Rest action in combat. Basically, the player voluntarily gives up an action for their turn so that, at the start of their next turn, they'd regain their all their Energy Lvls for future use. This makes the Energy Lvls an infinite resource, as opposed to Spell Slots that need to recharge over long rests. However, it's balanced out by how little Energy Lvls the players will have, the fact that they need to Muster them before they even get to use them, and the fact that they recharge them by wasting an action for a turn.
At higher levels, players not only get more Energy Lvls to spend on their spells, but they also get the ability to Muster multiple Energy Lvls at once. Players can Muster a number of Energy Lvls equal to their Mustering Level, as shown by the below chart. (Also, players only get this spellcasting at Level 3).

Ok, so those are Energy Lvls and mustering them. That's how the resource for this magic system works. Onto the application.

Casting Spells

In this magic system, I wanted to capture the feeling of a soft magic system in DnD. The resource system of Energy Lvls is very defined, but as for what the Energy Lvls do, I wanted it to be much more free-form. So, I had the plan of not actually showing the statistics of any of the spells to the players. If a spell that they have is "shoot a bolt of lightning that does 3d8 damage", then all I'd tell them about the spell is "you can shoot a bolt of lightning forward", and players would be free to be as creative as they want with what that means and try anything out, y'know. I want it to feel a bit like ATLA, if that makes sense? I'm taking notes from Avatar's bending system and the Kineticist class from Pathfinder.
There's three kinds of spells that can be cast:

1. Class Applications
   1. These are just the abilities granted to the players from the homebrewed subclass. The three classes my players will be playing as, Rogue, Fighter, and Barbarian, are each getting a homebrewed subclass that'll allow them to interact with this magic system, and they have their own unique abilities that they can spend Energy Lvls on. But I won't get into any of that.
2. Martial Applications
   1. These are the pathfindeATLA inspired spells. The adventurers would use a series of martial moves to weave their mustered energy together into powerful spells, capable of raining down lightning arrows on enemies, changing the flow of water, etc. These are decently powerful spells that the players can cast whenever they want, with a couple limitations. Because it requires trained movements, players cannot cast these spells while restrained in any way. Not only that, but some spells not only cost Energy Lvls to cast, but also some movement, and others require you to succeed acrobatics, performance, or athletics checks in order to succeed on casting them. Throughout the campaign, players will learn new martial arts techniques that broaden the kind of spells they're able to cast, allowing the players to gain a feeling of progression as they train themselves to be capable of casting more spells. I'll start players off with really simple Martial Applications. The first spell they'll ever get to cast will just be them extending their hand and firing a single, simple bolt of energy forward. From there, the sky's the limit as to what their character can do with their magic martial arts.
3. Crafted Applications
   1. In stark contrast with the martial-arts focused Martial Applications are the science-focused Crafted Applications. The different elements wielded by the player characters will each have vastly different effects on the environment depending on the materials that they interact with. Red lightning will burn paper, Radiant Frost will freeze water, etc. Players can take advantage of this by putting many different material components, like herbs, crystals, and precious metals together as ingredients to form a resource called Spell Pouches. The spells that are castable thanks to Crafted Applications are incredibly powerful and do not face the risk of failing to cast via a failed athletics check or anything like that. In exchange for this, it's as if every spell has a resource to cast unique to itself. These Spell Pouches that would let them cast these powerful spells are a resource that isn't regained over longrests, and instead have to be purchased, crafted, or found, becoming a resources as precious as potions or magic items. Usually, players will just be fighting with their basic melee combat and martial applications, saving these powerful Spell Pouches in the backs of their pockets for when they really need them.

The actual spell lists for Martial Applications and Crafted Applications are still works in progress, so I can't display them here. I want to get some feedback on these ideas before I get too deep in these spell lists. What parts of this homebrew do you like? Do you think it achieves the goals I set out to achieve? What are parts that could be improved, and how? Are there any things that need clarification? Please, I desperately need help!!
TL;DR: I'm going to run a campaign where the players are being introduced to a whole new homebrewed magic system that they know nothing about, and will have to learn about the magic system and new spells as it goes on. Players use a resource called Energy Lvls instead of spell slots, which must be prepared with a bonus action before use and can be regained through an action called the Rest action, which does nothing but return the players' spent Energy Lvls at the start of next turn. Players will be introduced to a flexible soft magic system that I'll be managing with my own imagination, where they're able to cast spells either through martial arts routines (passing athletics/acrobatics checks to succeed on casting) like in ATLA, or by putting together ingredients for powerful spells in Spell Pouches that can be cast whenever, but cannot be regained as a resource.

We have recently returned from ClubMed Turkoise (Turks), first time for us oldersters in a ClubMed or an all-inclusive. It totally rocked for us, my wife, a trained yoga instrutor, no has some shoulder and hip stiffness and prefers wellness, pool and beach, I was able to do many sports, we are pescatarians and never had a problem findinig someting to eat at the buffet main (only) dining room,, the small buildings rather than the hotel blocks, the parties at night, the Happpy Hour with live band at the Sharkies bar, and the Club Med vibe of feeling like summer camp alongside one of the most gorgeous beaches in the world, Grace Bay beach. We made fabulous friends during our 7 day stay at Turkoise, because ClubMed can be so social. We alreay plan to return to Turkoise next April 2025....we gave it 5 stars in a Trip Advisor review.
NOW, We're looking to book something very similar for our 50 wedding anniversary in early November. In fact, my wife wants to return to Turkoise, even if winter days will be much shorter and rain might be more common. We plan to book Turkoise for next April, so mabe overkill to go 3x within 12 months.... Other ClubMeds have some dedicated adult only areas within huge family Villages (Cancun and Punta Cana), but ClubMed's "Exclusive Collection" charges alot for stuff we don't really need, like small private pool, champagne upon arrival (we are casual light drinkers), and private bar. Even if kids are not on vacation in late October-early November, plenty of peoople seem to travel to all-inlusives with children up to 6 years old. We're CLub Med kind of people, wee don't need the elegance of butler on the beach service like Secrets seems to have. We're looking for somewhere to go that will approximate ClubMed Turkoise, in free sports, a fair price that doesn't gouge us, low buildings, a certain vibe, and direct flight from JFK, maximum air time about 4.5 hours. . Figure on 7 days, 6 nights.

Hi everyone! While checking in for my flight tomorrow, I had the option to upgrade the first leg of my flight to first class for $40. It states that two free checked bags are included with this and that they will be delivered to baggage claim first. My regular ticket had one checked bag included, but I am debating whether or not to upgrade since I will be checking three bags total ($100 + $200). If I get this upgrade, is it correct that I will be paying $40 to upgrade to two checked bags + $200 for that third one? Will my bags get priority service all the way through to the end? TYIA

Long-time Angeleno, first time Bowler. I read so many reviews how parking at this place is horrible but I must say, this is one of the better stadium experiences I’ve had. Arrived at the church at 4:00 and got the closest spot to the exit for $45, not stacked. Ride-shared to dinner and back and was dropped off at Lot C, just a few steps to the gate. There were escalators to the tip top section if needed, and we were offered seat cushions along the way. Bonus points for the waitress who gave me a free lychee martini with dinner.

I’m planning on buying my first house soon but get demotivated by the high interest rates.

1. First of all, the Nekki community has a very toxic community and this could be shown through videos in YouTube (search up The Odyssey Gaming in yt, because you will find out that in 2 or 4 of his videos, they contain people who bash him for no reason at all).
   
2. Second of all, the Nekki community lied to us(the Jump forward kick sometimes doesn't knockback the opponent, and the last update said that it would work. It is truly a deception) and is too lazy to fix issues seen in the game(they allow players to camp and win the game by camping with ease, so what's the point and where's the fun in the game when all you have to do is walk back and spot the player's mistake in aggressively fighting?. This truly made a lot of players in high level become more toxic to people of low levels and mock them).
   
3. They have very unfair matchmaking(also an issue that has not been solved even though it was pointed out to them in every update). I know they discussed that matchmaking is by trophies but the level attributes in the difference of a high level of a low level player is too high and causes opponents to 1-3 shot other players.
   
4. They allow emotes that simply provoke negative emotions or anger. This is how players show their toxicity through out the match. They truly allow other players to become toxic like others and provoke negative emotions instead.
   
5. They did not fix the issue of grab techniques and low reaction of dodging for characters. Sometimes the grab techniques work even if the player is knockdown and it causes them to be knockdowned again and never gave a player to get back up and fight. Some grab techniques give high hitbox like the basic attack cancel + grab and no matter how u press the attack button before the grab happens, the grab still works. It's an issue I pointed out to nekki's support agents but they answered poorly to the situation (and the topic of poor support agents will be discussed in the 7th reason).
   
6. Part of their laziness and failure to address the issue is making unnecessary buffs and nerfs.
   

-They nerfed KOTL (king of the legion) in the last update by giving him less shadow energy gain in his attacks, though before the last update he was pretty balanced and already has less shadow energy attacks.
-They did not nerf characters that are too imbalanced like June or Yunlin. June's forward attack is too fast and knocks the player down automatically to the ground and this gave players that use June the advantage to use June's shadow power. June can also break blocks in the 3rd bar but it's unfair for June to switch to her 2nd bar easily because it provides June unlimited shadow abilities to use and is too unpredictable to evade (she even has a bonus to be invulnerable when doing shadow abilities). This made players use her as an advantage for camping as well which is too overpowered.
Meanwhile, they did not nerf Yunlin's shadow energy gain. Yunlin's high shadow energy gain makes her untouchable with the charm of spirits ability where she becomes ethereal whenever she wants too. Because of her shadow energy gain through blocking, a lot of players use her to camp and become untouchable and add that to Yunlin's scorching moonbeam which useful for camping too because while blocking and dodging by being ethereal, the moonbeam does a lot of damage to players. She has been asked for a nerf everytime but they only nerfed her very predictable Charm of Winds. They do not provide accurate nerfs and buffs.

1. Lastly they also have poor support to address the issue and would often answer things that are off topic from your issues. A real example(that I have done) is when you get disconnected though your internet is working fine and it's 5G. There was no update so there has to be a reason why you disconnected but when you ask the support agents and mention about your internet connection (like saying "it's 5G and it's fine but why isn't it working"... something like that) they will only reply with something like, "check your internet connection whether it is 2.4G or 5G, I suggest you choose 5G". This is a very irrelevant answer and failed to answer the situation you mentioned from the very start.
   
2. They pair up people who have network problems to people who have good network and their network detection(or how they analyze your network bandwidth.. something like that). This causes a lot of people to lag abuse their opponent or use lag to their advantage (which is ofcourse, cheating. If ur saying it's a skill it's not because how will you fight well if both of you are lagging just because one is lagging). And their lag abuse goes undetected by nekki's system.
   

If you are wondering why I know this, it is because I am a very experienced player there in shadow fight 4. I have seen their community and also seen a lot of issues in their updates and their network system. I am a dojo level 11 player named RNH RØXTIEẞ who mains ITU, LYNX, and IronClad. I wrote this today as a prayer cause writing is easier than talking or thinking for me. Maybe it’ll give words to others feeling similar ways. I don’t know if I’m saved anymore after writing this. I’m on my way to Target to run errands and try to get out of my own heads. Here goes nothing.

I don’t know how to start this. I know what I want to say, maybe how to end it (not sure about that either) but starting it is weird. I am going to confess some things and vent some things because I don’t know where else to turn.
I know what other people or Christians might say - turn to the word. Honestly, that is exhausting. It’s exhausting seeing Bible verse after Bible verse, sometimes multiple times a day, and it doesn’t do anything. It just sits there and stares at me. Just helvetica font on a screen or whatever. I’m tired of turning to the Bible in hopes of a cure for my condition and it doesn’t do anything. I’m tired of watching preacher after preacher give sermons and still all I hear is silence. Silence from God. Silence from His book.
God, you do things in a weird way, man. Not in a good way either. I can see clearly how you orchestrate things in my life. Getting me a better living situation three days before college started. Using a Miami storm to shut down my college campus so I could avoid embarrassing myself at two different jobs I had for accidentally double-booking myself. Making the smell of weed nauseating to me so I don’t delve into drugs. Opening the right opportunities for me so I could make the movies I wanted to make before I graduate.
Then in other ways, you just ignore me. You’ve ignored my pleas to get rid of my sex drive, to clean my brain from my pornography addiction, so I don’t spend every freaking day feeling unworthy and filthy. You’ve turned a blind eye to my prayers to meet a Christian woman for a future spouse. You’ve ignored my pleas for you to cure my depression because I can’t afford therapy or meds. You’ve ignored how much I’ve begged you to fill the void in my chest. To take away the pain of loneliness that can render me physically ill day to day.
You’ve ignored my pleas to hear Your voice. For you to just be with me when I’m alone in my apartment left with nothing but tears and stupid action figures I buy to try and feel less alone. Everytime I open the Bible now I look for something, anything, that can fix my brain and heart.
I’m running out of hope. Maybe I’ve already ran out of it and I’m stuck in denial. I’m weary and I feel like my brain is being split in two. Part of me has taken my skills and original ambitions of helping people through filmmaking into ambitions all based on greed or even violence. The part of me that genuinely wants to help people has dwindled and dwindled and seems like a pipe dream now. Now I dream of a world on fire, hitting the big red button and calling it all quits.
I follow most of your tenets these days because I know they’re right. I know You exist, reality doesn’t make sense at all if you were just a myth. I just follow them because they’re orders. Clear cut orders. I still don’t understand nor like some of them. But I do them. Yet I’m not happy or fulfilled at all.
I think I want to be done. Being a Christian doesn’t bring me joy at all. It doesn’t make me happy anymore that I’m (might be) going to heaven and a lot of my friends won’t be. It doesn’t make me excited that I supposedly have some special connection to God since I’m “saved”, since that connection seems to only go one freaking way. I don’t get strength from worshiping you or “surrendering” - what the heck is surrendering anyway?

This is probably the fortieth letter I’m writing to you, that may be a little exaggerated to say but this is definitely not the first, the previous thirty-nine sit safe in my google drive.
I could’ve written this on a piece of paper but then even I couldn’t have read it back, so I chose this less charming albeit more efficient way of reaching you. I’m sorry that it took me so long to send you this, though in all fairness, I said I’ll write you a letter and not that I’ll send you one, but here it is anyway.
I hope you are having fun in YXZ Island or wherever your journey has taken you. I still wait eagerly for the pictures from the island (preferably featuring you).
As it turns out, writing a letter, or should I say sending one, is not the easiest thing to do. There’s so much to say and only so much actually worth saying. I have never been very sure of my writing to be honest with you, in fact when I was 15 I wanted to write a fantasy novel, as I remember having told you, but was afraid that apart from my mother no one might actually end up reading it. The statistics weren’t in my favor either, so one day instead of writing the first page of my book I decided to write to Stephen King instead, I had just read ‘IT’ and a friend told me that he responded back to his email.
I wrote to Mr. King citing my concerns about the success of this hypothetical book, that had so far only existed in my head and to my surprise he did write back.
He said he was heading to a dinner party with his wife that some friends had arranged and he had to make it short. In his short email, he wrote “Writing is a selfish art, a writer writes for no one but himself. Write. If someone likes it that’s good but if not that’s fine too as long as you enjoy writing it.”
So after 39 letters, I hope you like this 40th letter, and if not then I for sure liked writing it.

Description: human, tall, slender build. Usually wears a black feather cloak with a hood. Has a bandolier with various ammo clips on it.
Background: A hired gun. Capable of taking down a variety of targets, from political rivals to military assets, pay him enough, he’ll get it done. Enjoys hunting in his free time. Cares very deeply for the outdoors and the ecosystem. He has an odd obsession with shiny objects and likes to collect trinkets from jobs as souvenirs. He lives in a cabin he hired some contractors to build.
Weaponry:
Main: a rail rifle with various firing modes.
A faster firing rate with lower velocity but has more ammo and can be used longer before needing to recharge the capacitor.
A slower firing, more sniper like mode. More velocity, good for long range kills.
A devastating gauss shot. Shoots pure blasts of energy, capable of dealing with heavily armored target. He carries 2 capacitors for that one. Each giving him one shot before needing to recharge at home before being used again. Also consumes any energy in the gun. Leaving it unable to be used until another capacitor is placed in.
The first two modes use specially designed clips that double as ammunition and battery. Each holding enough energy to empty the clip.
Sidearm: Uses a standard hunting knife for close range, he also uses the knife for processing game out in the field. A small pistol. Though he never uses it much.
He has no special abilities. He’s just a good shot and sneaky as hell.

During one of tonight's tidymercial breaks, I had a stroke of brilliance. I picked up a pair of fuzzy socks that were no longer fuzzy due to age. Realizing how seldom I wore any fuzzy socks, much less that pair, I realized I could use them as dusting mitts! The towel bar, medicine cabinet door, and the top of the toilet tank were the first benefactors.

I’m writing this on behalf of my girlfriend who fell victim to having her car stolen and personal belongings inside the vehicle stolen. Her vehicle has been recovered, damage-free, both inside and out. But all of her belongings inside the vehicle have been stolen. Two medium-sized plastic totes full to the brim with clothes, dog-care supplies, bedding, dozens of pairs of shoes, prescription medication for eczema, vehicle information from the glove box, and a multitude of other items that she has mentioned but I have since forgotten.
The sheriffs department on the case know who the juveniles are, as this is not their first offense, and are still investigating for further evidence as my girlfriend’s car was not the only one they stole that morning. Once arrests are made and the investigation has concluded, can my girlfriend sue either the juveniles or their families for the stolen property? The insurance company her vehicle is insured through will not compensate her for the stolen property and the total of all stolen property is above $2,000.

Hi Reddit! I’ve never done this before, so please excuse any errors I may make! I’ll start off with giving some context. My family have immigrated from South India to the UK, when I was a baby, and have since birth been immersed in the British culture (I’ll not say where in the UK because privacy lol). My patents have quite a few siblings, but I only have two cousins 21M and 27M here with me. So in short, my patents are your classic Asian patents. Extremely strict “studies first then everything else”. Everything else implying drinking, dating, and even close friendships. As a child I was never really allowed to have friends: was only allowed to spend time with them after school once a month, and since I only got a phone at 13, was pretty left out in terms of group chats. I wasn’t really allowed to FaceTime friends either. In short, my patents never believed any of my friends were a good influence just because none of them were exactly the most academic. I on the other hand, was pretty much forced from a child to be academically smart. Wasn’t allowed to play much as a child, all I did was read and study (I know, pretty sad childhood). My parents also somehow manipulated me into doing medicine, and here I am now, a medical student. Similar to this, my parents manipulated me in quite a few ways. It’s hard to explain, but I find it really hard to do things without their approval, as they raised me to always seek their approval for every action: clothes, text messages, and life choices. In addition, I had a pretty toxic childhood, as I was raised in an environment where my parents would always argue, and divorce was always a possibility. Oh, and let me add they are not on with me having male friends. Ok so with that very basic context, I’ll get onto my dilemma. When I was 14, I met my boyfriend Cameron (name changed) at high school. We both were, and still exactly on the same page in terms of life: career and life goals, humour, and overall just get each other. There’s nobody that’s ever understood me more than Cameron, and quite frankly he is the light of my life. I don’t know what I would do without him, and I think he feels the same way. We had an instant connection, which is where my problems first begun. You may have already guessed, but my very south Asian parents are HIGHLY against dating, especially without having a degree. Since I was a kid, I always just agreed with my parents whenever they’d tell me to not date, as I didn’t really understand that they were being serious. Some part of me wanted to believe they just told me against dating since they didn’t want me to get hurt, and I believed they would be more open to it as I got older. But when meeting Cameron, I knew that I loved him, and wanted to experience dating. I thought this was just a small step, however as time got on with dating Cameron, not only did my love for him grew, but I started to realise how toxic, and manipulative my parents were. I started to realise how much wrong was in the way I was raised and started to live life how I wanted to: without my parents knowing , and yes, while living under their roof. I dated Cameron in secret: turned off life 360 to go on dates with him, sneaky phone calls late at night, and spent every miniute at school together as it was at this point the only time we could be together freely. Unfortunately, I couldn’t really explain to my friends why I did spend all my time with Cameron, and they stopped being friends with me for this. However, recently me and my high school friends made up so all good lol. Cameron gave me the courage to move out for university, something I would never have dreamed off out of fear of my parents. Currently, I’m livng in student halls, and studying medicine in the same course and Uni as Cameron. Life couldn’t be any better. All of a sudden, I feel free. I can do what I want, be friends with who I want, and most importantly am free to be with the one I love most. All without judgement and fear from my parents. However, we’re now coming to the end of first year, which means I’m going to have to move back home for the summer. While it’s only for three months, I honestly can’t go back to the way it was before, and am really scared to have to hide my relationship again. I won’t be able to see him, or speak to him on the phone nearly as often as I do now, and it really pains my heart to think of having to go through the torture I went through while living at home again. In addition, me and Cameron are serious, and are thinking of engagement soon. Both of these factors make me want to tell my parents: as much as they are EXTREMLY toxic, I hate hiding such a big part of my life from them (probably a consequence of them requiring their approval for my every action as a kid). Here’s where the real issue is. I have no idea how to tell them, and whether the, in them is a good idea. This is because they have extremely strong opinions against me dating ( combination of culture, religion, and sexism). I fear that if I tell them, they will completely disown me, which I really don’t want as I’m not mentally stable enough to deal with that big a change. I also fear they would try make me and Cameron break up, or be physically and or verbally abusive. I honestly see no possibility in which there is a good outcome from telling my parents about me and Cameron. I don’t really have any family that i can ask for advice, as I’m not really close to anyone. None of my cousins have ever been though a similar situation, because they’re male (the sexism is real) and haven’t dated (at least not seriously). I’m also scared to tell my parents in cause they have a heart attack or something, as they are both relatively elderly. So here’s where my question is: how do I tell my parents about Cameron, causing the least amount of drama??? It’s really really affecting my mental health recently. Any help is appreciated. if you need me to expand on anything because I feel that I’ve skimmed over a lot of details to keep it short, please please just ask!
