I'm doing a short, light-hearted tournament for my group, and I was hoping to have a few rounds of fun/funny/reference groups of enemies. The party will be level 5, and the max number of enemies per round is 4.
For example, one round could be the ninja tortles, while another round could be the Goliath John Cena and his bard announcetheme song giving him buffs and inspiration. (Any suggestions for how to build them are also appreciated)

So I sold my house and plan to buy a car without financing from the proceeds. How does that work? Do we make a deal and then I go to my bank and get a cashier's check? What if the bank is closed (since I work full time, it could be after hours or on the weekend)?
My car is due for an oil change. Should I do this to clear the light on my dashboard? My interior is dirty. Should I have it cleaned? I just want to know if it worth the few hundred bucks to do these things to improve my trade-in value.

So on Tuesday I started my car and it made a weird noise, didn't realize it was my car because there was construction in the area. Drove to my wife's work and sat in the parking lot for about 30 min with the car running, ac on, and radio on and no battery warning light on. Turned it off and went inside and when I came back out it wouldn't start, wouldn't even try and turn over, no noise at all. Left it at her work and came back the next day, my friend replaced the starter in the parking lot and it cranked right up and we left. My wife went to lunch shortly after and the battery light was on and it died on the way home with some electrical problems(radio turning off, lights turning off, etc.).
We get it to the shop and get the alternator replaced and the mechanic said that my friend left something loose and shorted the alternator. I don't personally care either way and don't intend on having my friend pay or anything as he was just trying to help out. But he hasn't stopped talking about it and insists it wasn't something he did and that I shouldn't go back to the mechanic. My question is is this something that can happen or is he right in saying that the mechanic is lying for whatever reason?

I'm not a member of the organization, but I am trying to understand the JW organization. I've been watching JW videos, going through a free bible study, going to weekly meetings, etc., so if you can help me understand the organization better, I'd be grateful.
I noticed the recent changes in practice regarding growing beards, women wearing pants, men wearing suits, and so forth. My understanding is that this is "new light" and that they now understand God's commands better.
People have commented about being disfellowshipped over beard prohibitions in the past and how it wrecked families and caused apostacy. It seems the policy was a well-established custom and known to cause division, but accepted for ~100 years with all of the harm it caused people and families. I can find a video of one of the men (maybe he is a GB member?) saying that there is a new understanding of the bible. and explaining growing beards is now okay. What did it look like when the Governing Body repented from allowing (and maybe even enforcing?) unbiblical rules on those whom they are supposed to teach and protect?
This seems like a huge deal to me - like a sack cloth and ashes kinda deal. Are there videos of the Governing Body repenting for their sins of causing this harm to the members of the organization? I'm mostly interested in seeing how they repent when confronted with serious sins like misunderstanding God's commands and enforcing such an understanding on those under them.
What does it look like when the Governing Body repents? Do they issue a formal statement apologizing for their role in misleading people, or do they commit to actions like fasting? What do they pray? I'm just looking for an understanding of what repentance typically looks like for the Governing Body.

Una sa lahat I am sorry kasi di tlga ko nagsusulat so bear with me sa story ko.
First Encounter: Things started when I was in my early age around 13-15 as I myself am not sure how old I was during that time. My mom, told me na she was going to cebu kasi may lakad sila ng mga amiga nya so binibilinan ako sa mga bagay bagay, i;e ganito gagawin mo pag may ganito ganyan. I told her yes ma opo ako ng bahala.
Out of the blue, like for no valid reason tinanong ko sya and still fresh parin sa utak ko "Ma, ano gagawin ko pag binangungot ako?". And to that she answered, igalaw mo tangan(fingers) ng paa mo, igalaw mo ng igalaw gang makagising ka. To that information I just shurgged it off dahil random question nga lang yun, little did I know makakatulong pala sakin yun. So yun nga, she was making her bilin and telling me do's and don't lalo at maiiwan ako magisa sa bahay.
So comes the day na umalis mother ko for her little retreat, I was left alone in the house and for the rest of the day wala naman nangyari, little did I know na nun dumating na yung matutulog ako dun na pala yung worst experience of my life.
At around 11PM ng gabi, I was watching tv and during that ang internet ay limited pa talaga so I was just stuck on watching tv, and so on as the night deepens tv parin ang kaharap ko. Then come to the point I was sleepy and humiga nako sa bed, during the early hours of my slumber everything was good pero nun dumating na tayo sa witching hours dun na kumagat lahat. I was chill and all until napansin ko na may birds or doves made of light flying na while I was looking sa window (ang position ko kasi noon is sideways facing to the left pero nakaharap sa widow). Dun ko na narealize na is this fated na tinanong ko mother ko regarding sa bangungot and what to do when I experience it, and so on as the experience resumes. Nun nakikita ko na ilaw sa kwarto shining through it. Mind you I was facing to the left but I can see everything behind my back and there was something at the corner of the room, di ko na alam ano yun kasi di ako nagfocus dun,but there was something heinous that I cannot explain. So naalala ko na, maybe it's a blessing in disguise at tinanong ko mother ko regarding bangungot as she just left earlier, I did what she told me at yun nagising ako. I was fully awake at 3AM sitting in the sala and not doing anything, assuring myself na etong nangyari na to is just a product of my mind. I have told it to a couple of my friends and some of them have similar experiences regarding situations I have faced.
What is your opinion regarding things like this?

I have some questions regarding my taxes. This is the first time I have never filed taxes, so this is all a little new. While filing, I realized my employer had not withheld state or federal income tax. I ended up owing the state I live in $300. I figured this was a mistake on my part, and filed out a new W-4 so that those taxes would be withheld. My taxes were still not being withheld, so went to the account for answers. According to him, the system is projecting that I won't make enough per paycheck to owe any taxes. This makes zero sense to me. In addition, my last pay check $11 was withheld for federal, but none for state. Can anyone shed light on this for me? Or have any suggestions for how I should proceed? I am honestly getting super frustrated.

Hi everyone. Today I was in my first car accident(minor rear end at a stop light). I (20F) was answering a text and looked down at my phone as the light turned green and hit the car in front of me. The car only has aesthetic damage and my bf (23M) went into a rage about it as soon as I called to tell him. He yelled at me a few things that weren’t very nice several times and wanted to show up screaming like that as well even as I told him to stop because my sister was there. He also wanted to take the car from me, which is under both our names. He apologized later for yelling at me but then got into it with me because I crashed and have “no awareness to drive”. I do take accountability that i crashed 100% and know I should not have touched my phone at all, but I need the car to get places and he wanted to take it as a form of “punishment” until he saw that I was able enough to drive again. We came to an agreement to put a tracker on my phone so it alerts him if I touch it while driving. But something just doesn’t feel right about all of this. What advice would you give me regarding this and how to go about it?

My life revolves mostly around thinking.
I often need time alone to get lost in my thoughts. I make plans on how I want to live my life, the food I want to eat, the clothes that I need to wear. I think about the person I want to be, the type of relationships I need to have and which hobbies. I also constantly think about what attracts me and the type of sex I should have. My most intense sexual fantasies involve teasing myself with certain types of thoughts and real life sex with a partner feels usually very dull.
I know this is normal to an extent, however I am pretty sure that in my case my passion for thinking becomes a weird form of guilty pleasure, where it is so good that it hurts.
Now I have been trying to understand the causes of it but it is not that simple. I believe that there is a valid reason for me to be this way, as thinking might be a way to protect myself and others from myself and the things I might do or say. I guess this is also normal for a lot of people.
However I feel very frustrated that the only way I can shut my brain down is by numbing myself with tv show or scrolling my phone. I feel like i live my life with bright lights always on. Always thinking, thinking, thinking.
Could this be a form of obsessive disorder? Sometimes i feel like as if thinking is a way to keep my demons away. And to preserve the few things in life that are good, and if i let myself go i will become some sort of black hole.
Does anyone have any opinions on this?

Greetings! I have an MV7+ with a USB-c port and an iPhone 13 with a Lightning port. Tried using an Anker cable to connect them with zero success - the lights on the mic wont even come on. Question is, has anyone tried using the stock usb-c to usb-c cable with an Apple usb-c to lightning adapter? Will it carry sound as well as work with the Motiv app on an iPhone? The alternative is getting a replacement Shure cable, but it's only 15 inches long. Perhaps another third-party cable will work, like Rode?
Grateful for any tips!
