A reminder about our rules on asking for medical advice

2024.05.18 21:53 SphinxBear A reminder about our rules on asking for medical advice

Hello fellow moderately granola moms,
In light of some recent posts that had to be removed, this is a reminder about our sub rule banning asking for and giving medical advice. We have no way of verifying anyone’s credentials and particularly because many of the questions involve the health of children, we kindly ask that all medical questions are directed to qualified medical personnel and not this sub.
Examples of what is not allowed: 1. Asking whether or not your child (or you) should take or complete a course of prescribed antibiotics 2. Posting a pictures of your child’s rash asking what it is 3. Asking whether medications are safe to take during pregnancy
Examples of what is allowed: 1. If your child has a diagnosed medical condition (e.g. eczema), asking what other parents have done in that situation 2. Sharing your experiences with healthcare and asking for advice about navigating the system 3. Asking for tips on managing general health that doesn’t necessarily fall under a medical condition (e.g. dry skin) or doesn’t require medical intervention under normal circumstances (e.g. the common cold)
The above examples of what is and isn’t allowed are just examples and not an exhaustive list. When in doubt, you are welcome to message the mods to ask whether something you’d like to post would violate the sub rules.
Thank you for your help.

Skin Help!
Hello! This is my first Reddit post. Since January (so about 4 months now), I have struggled with my skin, acne/rash? Who knows. Yes, I have a dermatologist appointment scheduled for next week to see what is going on. Anyway, I have red forehead bumps that are very persistent, cysts and inflammatory pimples around my mouth, and red bumps on my cheeks which I have never experienced before. I have these weird tiny little bumps near my hairline that come and go. My skin texture completely changed, more rough and bumpy and not smooth like it used to be. In the past, my only problem areas were sometimes my forehead but especially around my mouth, never the cheeks! I have had my fair share of skin issues, however for the past 3 years my skin has been under control and issues have been minimal.
This came out of nowhere and nothing in my skincare routine, hair routine, or life changed when this started. I’m wondering if it is hormonal or more bacterial, so that is why I will be seeing a dermatologist. Has anyone else had similar skin issues that looked like this? I have attached pictures for reference.
My routine is simple right now.
AM either Vanicream gentle face wash or Panoxyl 4% and the Vanicream moisturizer, the one in the small tube. I cut out sunscreen (I know that’s bad) until I figure out the issue.
PM Garnier micellar water, Vanicream gentle face wash, tretinoin cream 0.025% on dry skin (I’ve been using Tretinoin for the past 3 years so I know that is not the issue here), and the same Vanicream moisturizer.
I cut out a lot of skincare I was previously using because my skin is now so dry and red and seems so irritated for no discoverable reason. I have combination skin. My forehead is so oily and the rest of my skin is pretty normal to dry depending on the season.
I’m on hormonal birth control and have been for years so I’m wondering if I need to switch back to Tri Sprintec. Currently on generic Yaz. I used to use Tri Nessa however that was discontinued and changed to Tri Sprintec.
Thanks in advance! :)

Red bumps above new tattoo - cause of concern?
I got two tattoos yesterday. Red bump/rash has appeared in dip above one of them (first picture). The tattoo affected is slightly red and more sensitive than the other one, which feels fine. I have gotten much bigger pieces before and this has never happened. Sign of infection?

2024.05.18 18:46 CBBlyes Medication Working Too Well. Advice?

Hello,
I could really use some advice, because I’m not too sure what to do at this point in treatment and feeling a bit hopeless.
Quick backstory, I’m a 23 M about 175 pounds. My acne was never bad, but I suffered from constant whiteheads, inflammed bumps, and the occasional cyst since 15. I truly fit the “recurrent and unresponsive to other treatments” reason for prescribing Accutane. I started in December 2023 and dosage (mg) to date has been 40:60:80:80:80:60. The drop from 80 to 60 is why I’m posting.
The Accutane worked instantly at 40; within a week all my acne disappeared and I didn’t get another pimple until halfway through 60. It was magical. Of course I had dry skin, lips, eyes, but nothing even close to outweighing the benefits or what I had heard from others’ experiences. First month on 80 was when everything changed. I got 3 cysts in a matter of a month, facial skin got extremely dry, rashes on hands and arms, skin started peeling off toes and bleeding (especially when working out), back pain, nose bleeds, beard hairs/follicles bleeding etc — the works. I kept pushing but eventually enough was enough and I reached out to my dermatologist who prescribed me a month of Prednisone. I had never taken a steroid in my life up to that point, but instantly 95% of the side effects subsided and all inflammation from the cysts disappeared.
Fast forward to last month, I ran out of my Prednisone and most side effects came back, and even more intense. But to my surprise, after my first time shaving my beard (I use straight razor, 2 blade, shaving cream, with grain, once weekly) I got the worst razor burn and bumps. I tried OTC Hydrocortisone and Aloe, but it didn’t work. I gave it a week, but no relief. I reached out to my dermatologist who prescribed Triamcinolone Acetate (topical steroid cream). Again, weeks of application and some relief, but still noticeable irritation.
What’s bothering me now, is my beard is so painful. I try to let it grow and not touch it, and it’s almost as if Eczema is occurring underneath and the beard hairs feel like needles; but if I do shave, the “Eczema” subsides but the bumps become more obvious (pictures 24 hours ago).
I feel like a shell of myself. My acne is flawless. I haven’t had a pimple in months and it’s obvious the medicine has done a fantastic job.. but possibly too well.
Any advice? I plan to reach out to my dermatologist tomorrow. I want to quit the Accutane early, but I’m scared of relapsing. I’m tracked for 9 months and have almost completed 6. The decrease to 60 was my request, and I don’t know when/if I’ll see a difference in the side effects. I can handle almost all the side effects throw my way so far, but the beard crossed the line.

2024.05.18 16:51 Mammoth_Salamander74 second life

more than 6 months ago i had a questionable hookup, i was in a bad part of my life and made a stupid decision. recently i started experiencing flu-like symptoms and of course i started panicking. i had almost every symptom of HIV except thrush and rashes. i genuinely thought my life was over. i just took a oraquick HIV rapid test today.. finally pushed myself to do it….. and i came out negative. not even a faint line on the test. checked it like 5 times just to make sure and even took a picture.. right now.. i still can’t even believe it. i’m negative. i’m okay so far and will never make that dumb mistake again. last thing i gotta do, schedule a regular STD test and make sure i’m completely okay. tbh, none of them worry me like HIV worried me. so.. point is… don’t spend weeks on your phone googling symptoms and getting depressed. just go get tested. everything will be okay.

2024.05.18 16:06 dirtykelsie Reoccurring rash

I contracted covid last year for the first time and developed this awful rash, I never had any boils. My mother has HS and she always had boils and they were super painful, mine is almost a scaly red rash. I was diagnosed by a dermatologist that it was HS but any pictures I’ve seen look NOTHING like the rash I have. Does anyone else have HS but do not experience boils?

2024.05.18 13:54 TRWolf1991 Mens Laser Hair Removal - advice?!

Hi, I’ve recently undergone 12 sessions of laser hair removal on my back and shoulders. I’ve been left with pretty disappointing results and after the last session (5th April) I came out in a rash as shown in the picture attached. This rash hasn’t disappeared since. I’ve been applying Aloe Vera for over a week now but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do next? I’m also after advice on the disappointing results and what I can do to improve these? Many Thanks

2024.05.18 00:44 mysteryparrots Are chronic, bad skin reactions a 'requirement' for MCAS?

I have family that has been diagnosed with MCAS. I have POTS for sure, but I also have suspected MCAS and am on a treatment regimen by an allergist.
My question is essentially stated as above! I see lots of people posting on this subreddit with pictures of horrible rashes and such, but is that a requirement of MCAS? I get skin reactions to things, but it's more along the lines of inappropriate itchiness that turns into a small rash-like area for maybe 10 minutes, then eventually goes away if I'm away from what was causing it.
A lot of talk about the severity of rashes people get makes me question MCAS, however I am on some of the medications/supplements used to help it and I know for sure I have 'inappropriate' allergy-like responses to so many things. I was just curious if anyone has MCAS, but doesn't experience these huge, chronic rashes

2024.05.17 23:25 rbrill9213 1 year post-op.

31, male. I’ll put a before and after picture in a comment to this post! Overall, I'm very happy with the results, and would opt to undergo the procedure again. Feel free to ask me anything, but some additional thoughts and comments below:
The Procedure.
I had a full 360 tummy tuck with liposuction and muscle repair. Following the procedure I stayed in the hospital for one night. They had me up and walking around within a few hours of waking up. I don't remember being in too much pain (or much of anything from that day) - the meds were strong. I went home the next morning via car.
Recovery.
I purchased an electronic reclining chair prior to surgery, and I found it to be very helpful in staying comfortable. I utilized a "potty chair" that essentially fits over the toilet to make utilizing the bathroom easier. This was a lifesaver for me and I would recommend getting one prior to your procedure. The chair could also be set in the shower, which made that process much easier too. I had 2 drains that exited my body through my groin. They were definitely uncomfortable, and they came out about 2 weeks post-op. The removal was very easy and painless - though does create a strange sensation. I wore a compression binder for about 6-8 weeks. After that, I wore some compression garments from Marena. I continued wearing the compression garments for approximately 6 months as it kept the swelling from becoming too uncomfortable. In my opinion, you cannot undergo this procedure without having someone there to help you for at least a few weeks post-op. Be sure to treat that person with grace - you're probably being very needy/annoying, and they're a saint.
Complications.
I was allergic to the surgical tape and broke out in an extreme rash about 2 weeks after surgery. The rash devolved into a yeast infection on the skin and I had to use a medicated powder to treat it. It took about 2 weeks for that to clear. I developed a seroma in my back about 3 weeks after surgery. I went to see my surgeon every few days to have it drained. Draining the seroma was not painful, and it was completely gone after 5-6 treatments. I had several wounds pop up on the right side of my incision. YOUR WOUNDS WILL HEAL. Read that again. At one point I had 9 areas that were open, and they took about 6 months to finally close. It's mentally taxing dealing with wounds, so be kind to yourself. I used silvadine on the areas that opened, silver alginate dressings, and various bandaids to keep them covered.
Today.
I still swell in the lower part of my abdomen, and it happens most days. However, it's nothing compared to the swelling you might experience post-operatively and for several months afterwards. SWELLING IS NORMAL - YOU WILL BE (VERY) SWOLLEN. Because of the issues I had with healing, the right side of my incision is darker than the rest and a bit bigger. My surgeon is currently lasering that area to lighten the scar, and it's helped significantly. At some point, I may decide to undergo a scar revision, but it doesn't bother me too much. The area underneath my belly button is still numb, along with the outer part of both my thighs. I'm back in the gym, able to run, cycle, and lift like I could pre-op. Prior to surgery, I weighed 193 pounds. Today, I weigh 195 pounds.
For The Guys.
To the men in this group - the swelling and bruising will naturally migrate to your junk. Seriously. I was black and blue for probably a month in that area following my procedure. Eventually, it will return to normal. I found that a jockstrap was the best underwear following surgery - it makes using the bathroom very easy as you don't have to fiddle with a waistband. It also provides additional support and helps to reduce the swelling and bruising in that area. Marena makes a compression brief that works well once you're into that phase of your recovery, and you can wear it like any other pair of underwear.
Summary.
This procedure is no joke, and the recovery process is long. I dealt with several post-surgical complications, couldn't fully care for myself the first few weeks, and still swell. If I had known at the time what was in store for me post-operatively, I'd still choose to undergo the procedure. I can sit down without my skin falling over my pants, my clothes fit how they're supposed to, I don't have to yank my jeans up and over my skin, and I feel more confident in myself. Ultimately, it feels like this was the last step in ridding myself of the old (300+ pound) me. I would encourage you, if you're on the fence, to get the surgery.

2024.05.17 22:12 AugmentioOfDelphi Is this the start of crusted scabies? (Read description)

This is my brother’s hand and arm. I know the pictures aren’t too great. He has this rash which has lasted weeks, but hasn’t been itchy at all/ sleeps properly night after night. I saw a burrow on his palm yesterday. Why is he not itching? Is this the start of crusted scabies?
I’ve been treated for scabies (permethrin and ivermectin). He was treated when he was asymptomatic in early April but this rash came in early May.
I’ve got permethrin and oral ivermectin ready for the whole family.
What if he’s immunocompromised and we’ve never known? I’m close to a breakdown.

18f. Does anyone know what this could be?
I'm at a loss. ANA was 1:640 nuclear homogeneous and all specific tests came back negative. Primary care has no idea what is going on. My symptoms are: fatigue, joint pain, rashes (triggered by stress, caffeine, sunlight, and cannabis), full-body soreness, occasional joint swelling, low-grade fever, headache, and brain fog. I was also recently diagnosed with high BP, but when I have good days, my blood pressure doesn't get high. I don't know if the two are correlated or if I'm just under a lot of stress. I'm pretty sure I have Raynaud's (can be observed in picture 5).
The only thing I can think of besides lupus (lupus has been ruled out) would be dermatomyositis, but other than the occasional pain or cramp, I don't really have any muscular issues. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

2024.05.17 18:33 agnelchettiar Exploring Symptoms of Alopecia Areata Understanding the Puzzle of Patchy Hair Loss Coimbatore Hair Loss Treatment

Imagine waking up one day to discover a smooth, round bald spot on your head. It’s not just a bad hair day; it’s alopecia areata — a condition affecting millions worldwide. But what exactly is alopecia areata, and how does it unfold? Let’s look into the intricate web of symptoms, causes, and treatments that define this mysterious condition.

Decode the Symptoms

Alopecia areata can come out of nowhere, usually affecting hair follicles but sometimes involving nail beds too. At the outset, it shows up as round or oval patches of hair loss on the scalp, leaving behind bare spots without any signs of rash or redness. Some folks even feel tingling, burning, or itching sensations before the hair starts to fall out.
As the condition progresses, the story unfolds in different ways. Hair may regrow within months, offering hope amidst the barren patches, or new patches may emerge, expanding the canvas of hair loss. In rare cases, it evolves into more severe forms — alopecia totalis and alopecia universalis — where hair loss extends to the entire scalp and body.

Decoding the Symptoms

Beyond what you can see, there are more subtle clues, like itching, changes in colour, and unusual hairs — thicker at the top, narrowing like an exclamation mark — that give a clear picture of how the disease is moving forward. In the middle of all the not-knowing, there’s a pattern. Hair grows, then it falls out again, and it can feel like a ride with ups and downs — moments of hope and moments of feeling let down.

A Visual Journey Through Alopecia Areata

Looking at pictures helps you see what people with alopecia areata go through. Each picture — from when they first lose a patch of hair to when they lose a lot — shows how strong they are. The loss of eyebrows, eyelashes, and body hair marks pivotal moments, showing just how deeply this condition can affect someone’s sense of self.

The Mystery Behind Alopecia Areata

What sets off this autoimmune reaction, causing the body to turn against its follicles? Alopecia areata is like solving a puzzle with many pieces. It involves your genes, environmental factors, and sometimes just chance. But it’s not just about what’s happening physically; it’s also about dealing with feelings and social challenges. It’s like walking through a maze where stress, worry, and feeling sad are all part of the journey.

Hope in Treatment and Management

Even though there’s a lot of uncertainty, there are rays of hope in different treatment avenues, ranging from corticosteroids to phototherapy. When regular treatments don’t work as well as we hope, getting creative with hairstyles can be a fantastic way to show off our unique style and beauty. It’s a reminder that even when we face challenges, we can still celebrate our individuality and look amazing doing it.

The Journey

Alopecia areata isn’t just a medical condition; it’s a journey filled with highs and lows, victories and challenges. It serves as a powerful reminder of the incredible resilience within each of us, the capacity to find beauty even amid chaos. To all those walking this path, remember: you’re not alone. Your story, your journey, is a testament to the strength of the human spirit — a masterpiece in its own right.
When it comes to managing alopecia areata, having a reliable ally can be a game-changer. That’s where Keva Hair Care steps in. 2024.05.17 03:32 Short_Currency3498 The Doorknob

Zack didn’t know why, but the hair on the back of his neck stood on end at the sight of his door knob. The eerieness of his near-empty room left a pit in his stomach and in seeing the doorknob that he hadn’t seen for years, suddenly jolted hidden or repressed memories of his youth. Times he would run from his bullies in the foster home Zack once lived in, now, this old building is being condemned and due to be demolished tomorrow. Zack can’t look away from the doorknob, the rust-covered bulb reminded him of his old life as a foster kid and being more of an outcast with the other kids in this house, Fists and insults would fly freely towards Zack daily, none more willing to be Zacks number one bully, Donny. Zack feels the palms of his hands start to sweat and the air around him completely conceals Zack in a fog of forgotten moments in his life here that he long wished had never come back. Hurtful moments… terrible moments…moments in this very room that Zack was slowly reliving in his mind, yet it felt as if it was happening in front of him. Beads of cold sweat stink Zack's eyes, forcing his eyes closed and rubbing them to help with the sting, to no avail. Zack didn’t feel like himself in this room, this place is as a time capsule for Zack. He was only holding terrible anxiety that had recently just been unearthed inside Zack and bringing with it, a long-buried trauma that Zack was not ready for.
The room itself felt darker to Zack and his eyelids fluttered to adjust to the new dim surroundings, A small beam of light broke through a crevice between some wooden planks blocking out most light from outside. The shaft lands solely on the doorknob, the old rustic metal seems to not exist and shines abnormally bright from the beam of light; Zack covers his eyes from the sudden flash and when looking about finds the room back to its original state all those years ago. “No this can’t be right” Zack rubs his eyes and looks back around to only see the room still as it was back then. Zack hears sounds that haven’t been heard around here for a long time, kids playing outside in the backyard. Zack walks slowly, very curious and at the same time nervous, not fulling understanding what is happening now. Looking through the window that was just covered in old wooden planks that were nailed shut, were now clear of all obstacles, revealing the source of the noise. Showing kids he remembered back when he was a kid here. All of them playing and yet he’d also be up here, away from the other kids, away from the insults and shame that the kids always brought for Zack. Zack gets a swift memory jolt again and remembers this day, he was standing right here when he saw Donny and his group of twerp friends messing around the yard as the others just tried to have fun playing kid games. Donny had his eye on the one person who showed Zack kindness here; Clair was tending to her patch of sunflowers she had been looking after ever since she came here. The boys around Donny watched as she watered them, all by herself, Donny took this opening to make his move on her. I couldn’t hear what was said, but it didn’t look like she was interested in his offer, this made Donny mad and his friends chuckled at his sudden rejection and fueled his anger more. She then got up and waved them all goodbye as she turned back and looked up at the window I was standing at. She then smiles and waves at Zack, but Zack gets confused and waves back at the past through the window. Donny huffs and looks up to the window as well and stares hate-filled daggers at me. Even a pre-teen that was the bane of my life here can still drive a familiar chill down Zack’s spine as Zack quickly drops his hand behind him and is frozen in fear.
The room is back to the eerie silence as before and the darkness creeps around Zack again as he backs up from the window slowly. Zack steps against the wooden floorboards don’t make a single sound, the cold sweat returns, falling from his forehead onto the dusty, dry wood under his feet, Zack wipes his forehead with a trembling hand and moves his gaze toward the door, thinking he needs to leave this room immediately but in reaching for the doorknob, it refused to turn, it was as if it was merely a prop, not turn even possible to turn it at all.”Oh no…what is going on with this door” Zack began to the knob hard and struggle with it, to no success, and Zack's annoyance, he took a second to calm himself and closed his eyes, and breathed in slowly. As it began to take effect and Zack’s heart returned to a normal rhythm, bangs from the door and the knob violently turned left and right. Zack jumped at the sudden crashing on the door, the banging and twisting of the doorknob Zack didn’t know what to do, just then A smaller hand reached out and held his trembling hand as the calming voice of a bygone friend to Zack heard; “It’s ok Zack” the phantom voice whispered in his ear, the violent crashing and splintering of the door in front of him sounded so muffed from the smooth, tunes of the voice, that it almost seemed nonexistent at the moment.” Donny likes to play rough Zack but I won’t let him pick on you anymore, ok”. Zack felt a warm sensation on his left cheek and even though he felt a hand in his, he was all alone in the room, the door was at the moment of burst but stopped as the room grew dark and still. The feeling of a friendly presence was gone and Zack felt the horror that he had always known his whole life.
The feeling of being utterly alone, and with the sense covering him like a thick weighted blanket, his eyes look again to the door knob. The single light beam falls back into sight of Zack, bringing him back to the present, the darkness engulfing Zack, matching the despair that covers him. Zack takes a moment to regain himself and steady his rapid heart rate before he is fit. The silence of the room was helpful for Zack to focus on slowing the pounding against his rib cage, The sudden rush of his rash past was something he was not thinking would be an issue, yet here he was, nearly having a panic attack in his old foster room. Zack’s eyes are closed, breathing in slowly through the nose and out the mouth. The Silence is then shattered by the sound of the rustic doorknob violently twisting left and right as if someone on the other side was trying their hardest to get the door open. Zack jumps at the sudden old doorknob twist in such a manner, and knowing that he is the only one left in this building, gives Zack pause to go towards the door in the first place. The doorknob popped and grind against itself on the turns Zack felt the person might just rip the worn knob off the door entirely. Zack’s mind wanted to reach out for the vibrating doorknob, yet he found his feet moving on their own, moving back slowly from the door.
A golf ball-sized lump of fear sat in the back of Zack’s throat; His fear of coming not just from the crazy moving doorknob, but now the voices Zack remembers hearing at a younger age. When running from Donny and locking the doorknob, holding back my tears, and shaking behind a closet door. Donny would beat on the door and nearly a few times rip the doorknob off the door of the room itself. One night Zack was talking with Clair and felt a tear come down his cheek, She knew Donny was the one behind all my troubles and had had her misdealings with his consent pursuits since we got around our teens, but she remained ever so kind to Zack.
Zack swallows that lump down his throat and whence at the door to the closest repeatedly banging and the doorknob loosening from the screws at this point, Zack decides to reach for the door and open it. Maybe it was blind fear, or maybe Zack decided to overcome whatever this place’s hold had of him and may still have. Zack's hands trembled as he reached a tentative hand towards the closest door and with each step a glimpse of a forgotten tragedy began to form inside Zack’s mind, images that flashed like a long picture book of some well-drawn sketch. Right footsteps first, as the moment of Clair and Zack hugging one another as young adults now, Zack had a bruise under his right eye and Clair was putting ice and tending to him. Something else was happening there. A second step; Clair and Zack's hands touched and a spark was ignited that was set the moment they first met. Zack returns with a light cruise of Clair's cheek and then they both share a lover's kiss, until now as Zack has this remembrance does he now know that Donny was watching this from outside through the window above that we proudly sat at and the kiss was on display. Only Donny was the only one there to see and he was not happy at all. Rage filled his eyes not because Clair wasn’t with him, but because she chose Zack over him. The third step and another, were the times after Zack felt happiest in the arms of Clair and she was happy in his. Just then a violent slam from Donny to the door to the room swung open with such force the shock of the noise scared Clair and Zack, Donny stood in that doorway with fire in his eyes and still…very still.
Zack feels the tips of his fingers reach the jerking doorknob and can’t understand the feeling that has overcome him here, but he is compelled to see this to the end. A final step and Zack places a hand on the knob and grips it, expecting the shake in his hand. No such thing, the door stopped pounding and the knob ceased its upheaval at Zack’s touch. Zack takes a huge breath and turns the doorknob. Nothing…No sound. No light. Empty and damp, say for a metal hook on the center back wall, stained with old, dry blood. Zack looks at it as if he can see it through the pitch black of the closet, then a hand grasps hold of Zack’s, and Zack gets a feeling of a female next to him but can’t see, any words or sounds of any kind yet Zack can’t help but see the hook and think back, back to that last moment with Clair, the kiss and the rage of Donny’s pain reaching us here. Donny in a fit of blind anger grabbed Clair by the hair and kicked Zack in the chest so that it nearly crushed his ribs in one blow. Screams from Clair for Donny to slop, but Donny does not do any such thing. He pulled her with him as he shoved Zack with his kick again, hard enough to land Zack into the broom closet of the room. Zack got up and almost hit his head on the jagged metal hook. Clair scratches Donny good in the face and Donny, In the attack Donny throws Clair from his grip, and Clair trips over lifted out of the rug, and crashes through the glass window facing outside. Zack and Donny are in a moment of frozen shock as the lifeless body of Clair lies mangled from the fall and the glass cutting her Donny then turns to Zack and tries to close the closet door on Zack and it is a struggle for both but eventually, Donny took a step back and then with a hard kick to the door, send Zack backward.
Zack is back in the dark closet and the room makes Zack feel alone and scared, like so many times before. A single tear forms and before it falls, a soft hand, gently wipes it away.

Question about machine oil
Is it normal for EDM oil to cause large rashes that peel and end up looking like sunburn (feel like sunburn too)? I'm new to this whole thing and not sure if I enjoy doing the same damn thing every day for 10 hours a day. Picture is from a couple weeks ago after I leaned up on the machine I was running to switch out a part. Haven't leaned on machine since but have gotten splashed several times that have had similar looking results.
