"A computer?". "Do not vorri. Ve tage brivazy veri zeriously hier. No outzide konnektion. Entirely lokal".
"Rakke, can I talk to you for a second?" Tythor asked, pulling him aside. "What the fuck?". "What? That's the best rated doctor for extraterrestrial bodymods on the planet". "My translator is really struggling to keep up. Can't even speak properly, that one. Besides, how can I trust somebody if their public transit doesn't even work?". "Different organization. I already told you, they have dialects here. Messes with the translators sometimes. Give me access for a moment, I'll downloaded the updated language packs".
Tythor went back to talk with the Terran. "So a computer. You want to jam a computer in my thinking organ". "Yes. As said, you would be able to see far more colors than even a normal Terran. That can be overwhelming. So, we install small computer that allows you to filter out some colors. I understand your distrust, but there's really nothing to worry about. All the components and codes are provided at installation, so you can ensure there is nothing funny going on". "Can I have some time to think?". "Certainly. There's a waiting room here. We also offer overclocking by the way".
After a while Tythor decided to try the Terran approach. "Fuck it, I'll do it". "Very well. Follow me. You can take your suit off in that room". He did as instructed, and went into another room. Unlike other Terran interiors, which were usually decorated, this one was sterile.
"If you would lay down here and look at the dot? This may sting a bit" the doctor said, pointing towards a horizontal structure. "Just relax" the doctor said as a needle was jammed into Tythors photosensory organs. "Doing great. Just look at the dot. We don't get a lot of Rakhar, you know? They seem quite content with seeing everything gray-in-gray. So depressing, if you ask me". "I'm not asking you" Tythor responded dryly. "No talking! We wouldn't want the needle to slip, would we? Now, respire this substance...". Tythor started to feel sleepy, before being knocked out completely.
As he woke up he started to notice something. "Doctor, is there something wrong with my vision?" he asked. "Ah, nein. That's just the last of the nanobots working". "Nanobots?". "Don't worry, they will be flushed out of your system next time your body discharges waste. For now, rest. In about fifteen minutes you'll experience a totally new world, for you. May take some time to get accustomed to".
Tythor did as instructed. There was still a small pain from where the needles had pierced his body, but it was manageable. "Do you Terrans all have these...barbaric methods?" he asked the doctor. "Barbaric? My good customer, it's the safest and more importantly most efficient way. Now is time for break, so if you'll excuse me? I set timer. After that, suit up and you're good to go. The fees will be automatically deducted from your account".
It took some time to get the hang of it, and Tythor was glad he hadn't chickened out of the computing device, as for the first initial moments he saw an explosion of unfamiliar colors that were distinctly different from what he was used to. "This makes way more sense" he thought to himself looking at the buttons in the decontamination chambers.
"So, how you're feeling?" Rakke asked. "Like my photo-receptors have been stabbed with metal" Tythor answered, slightly angry. "Hate when they do that!" Süpö exclaimed. "You also got a mod?" Tythor asked the Jyx. "No. Our ships doctor is Terran. What the hell is it with Terrans and jamming metal into things? They do it in combat, they do it in medicine, and they love to do it in combat medicine. Heck, even my exosuit has a function that allows me to stab things" Süpö said, a blade shooting out of one of the suits arms before retracting.
"Booting...welcome to the ETID" Tythor heard in his head, before seeing a full display located entirely within his own field of vision, hearing a voice in his mind. "Essix?" he shouted out. "No, that's just the computer in your brain". "Great". "Location: Earth. Set visible spectrum to human Y/N?" the device displayed. "Yes", Tythor said. "You don't have to say it. You just have to think it, my cybernetic friend" Rakke told him.
"So why did you guys come up with that?" Shadow asked. "Two reasons: First, we wanted to see the world like a Mantis Shrimp does. That was the main reason. Secondly, after it became established, it was a lot cheaper than night-vision devices. Plus, less to carry around. Now, there's some caveats for that application, but in general, it is preferred to do it this way instead of carrying something on your head all the time. Plus, the interface is a nice bonus, I hear. And finally, because we could" Roxxa answered. "So you have implants too?". "Hell nah, like hell am I letting anybody play around in my thinking soup like that" all the inhabitants from Hell's Retreat answered simultaneously.
"So, where to next?" Süpö asked. "Old old Rome would be nice. Hear they reconstructed it entirely after making this planet habitable again" Tay answered. The trains were delayed, again...

Hey everyone, I’ve been searching for a good black and grey realism artist for a very very long time. I see rebel kolors based in Cali and his tattoos are great. They heal nice and dark and he posts lots of healed photos. Does anyone know any NYC equivalents or where I can find them. Too many artists post edited photos or tattoos heal super light with no detail left. To be clear I’m looking for artists whose work heals nice and dark as opposed to the grainy more faded light grey look many artists have.

Update: As of Monday, February 20, 2023, all of the film is gone.
I've purchased an 8x10 camera and am learning the wet plate process. I don't have much interest in shooting medium format or 35mm anymore, and so I've decided to sell my film cache.
I only accept payment via PayPal, either as a gift or as goods/services with a 3% surcharge to cover the transaction fees.
Shipping via USPS first class mail is a flat $5.00 per purchase, whether you buy 1 roll of film or all 86 that I'm listing for sale. Due to the costs and significant hassle involved, I'd prefer not to ship internationally for any order smaller than 10 rolls. I'll calculate international shipping on a case by case basis.
Where possible, I've listed the expiration date for the film. I don't have dates for all of the film available for purchase, but I acquired most of it between 2013 and 2017.
All of this film has been stored in a refrigerator since I purchased it.

Hey everyone, Don't know where to look so i take my chances here : My boss recently bought 6 timelapse camera, and of course, the post production is online and we can't do it for several reasons
The camera is a tikee pro 2
So to be clear, i've got a timelapse that give me 2 photos, one per lenses, i want to stitch them and make a video of this.
Now i'd like to find a software that allows me to stitch two videos, made from the pictures from each lenses, and i really can't... Videostitch, kolor, autopano aren't available anymore.
Please help me !
Edit : i reached out the customer services they told me to try to compile each lenses video and to stich them with mistikaVr or autopano video, will try soon !

Over the past couple of years I have accumulated what I am now realising to be quite a ridiculously large horde of every flavour of GW miniature, the majority of which are still on the sprue as well as a number of unopened kits. Basically I am purely a painter who paints GW models, which is why I've ended up with such a varied collection of kits, I've also fallen into the trap of buying an entire kit just to end up painting a single miniature from it.
Here's the collection as a whole before I go into what each set has in it (I'm only counting what is left on the sprue untouched. For a lot of the sets I have the missing model(s) built and primed but unpainted. The majority of the kits have 1 or at most 2 models missing, but I do have a few sets and single models unopened.

Around half of the hostiles still on sprue, including chaos space marines. the rest are pretty much all built/primed but unpainted.
