Did the people on american chopper get paid

Hi, I was employed by an MA contracting house to work 50% on-site 50% WFH in IL. Verbally told the contract was for 12 weeks; terminated after 4 in accordance with the “any time/any reason” clause. Was doing solid work / getting on with everyone at a job I loved when the contracting house contact called “calling you from my home line” to tell me I was being cut while on a WFH day. > to date I’ve never rec’d any written communication from either the job site or the contracting house telling me I was terminated. About 20 minutes after the call, the Slack wire went down followed by other accesses. > I wrote 3 people saying I’d come to return company equipment and transition off my work, nobody responded. Came into the office (hey, they buzzed me in) and bumped into a manager who tells me Surprise, he’s chief legal counsel for this little cargo cult of a company. He sequestered me and tried to intimidate me while I sought to understand who had cut me, and why. He got the contracting house on the phone for the discussion, some suit I’d never heard of let’s call him “Gil”. Gil is basically xhitting bricks thru the phone the whole meeting. He is absolutely panicking about my being there. Legal counsel is not upset w me and begins being mildly cooperative. We have our discussion and I turn in the assets, get my personal items, leave. Gil has stated he will email me his contact info, says he’ll do it after “lunchtime in Boston!,” but he never does.
I was one of 3 cut like this, we’re all “protected class”.
Question: why would a company go to such extremes to terminate someone so immediately and so harshly? In all 3 cases there’s no indication of theft or other serious malfeasance on the part of the cut worker. I do believe my contract house contact broke instructions to give me the 20 minute lead time. 2nd question, less important, is this failure to notify in writing intentional/part of some scam (if so what/why) or just indicative of their general incompetence? 3rd question, what if anything can I do to compel/encourage the contracting house to stop this cruel and destructive behavior? I say destructive because the on-site lost the value of 90% of the work that I did when they cut me the way they did, with no allowed transition, and for me it’s reputationally distructive. Found out thru discussion with colleagues that they were explicitly told not to talk w/ me, but many of them are, regardless.
What a little xhit show. IL’s finest, they’re not. Good thing all they “make” are chunks of inert plastic, eh? Ah where would the world be if we couldn’t eat plastic.

I am back after a break with another reimagining, and I thought this time I would tackle another movie that fell disappointingly short of expectations... Sarkar. Sarkar released to huge expectations after the success of both Thuppakki and Kaththi, but the film failed to deliver on its promise of a Mudhalvan-like political fantasy; I have to admit though, the movie is a guilty pleasure of mine which I do often revisit. That being said:
WARNING: I am not claiming to be a better writer than any of the people involved in the film and this is not a criticism of their ability.
The movie begins with a boarding meeting at one of the companies in Canada that GL (Sundar's company) is about to acquire. The members of the board nervously waiting for the arrival of their new boss, the media is waiting outside and we get the hype up for Sundar's eventual mass intro. After a build a of tension, a Rolls Royce pulls up and the camera follows as a man wearing pair of Tom Ford shoes exits the vehicle and walks into the elevator in the building as the media tries to snap some pics of him. The members of the board continue to wait impatiently, as the elevator doors open to reveal Sundar Ramaswamy (Vijay). He basically walks in doesn't say a word and sits at the head of the table. Sundar's lawyer drops the paperwork on the table, each member of the board takes their turn signing the document. Finally the document comes back to Sundar who flicks his signature onto it and gets up to leave, but one of the board members stops him to ask, "How do you feel after ruining the livelihood of 3,000 employees?". Sundar turns around and smiles at the board before doing the signature 'Vijay gum flick' and walking away in slow motion, queue the 'CEO in the House' song as Sundar heads out to celebrate acquiring the company. The scene is to establish Sundar as a proper overconfident and cocky 'corporate monster' instead of just telling us that he is a 'corporate monster'.
From there the movie continues pretty similarly with Sundar coming back to India to cast his vote, even though he takes his job very seriously he is still a patriot at heart and has a soft corner for his people. Same as the movie, someone else casts his vote and he begins organising lawyers meetings and press conference to get his vote back. All goes pretty much the same until the point Sundar's driver tells him about the atrocities done by the government and the family that set themselves on fire, Sundar is genuinely quite unaware of all this. Similar to the movie, he directs his convoy to go to the colony where the little girl is. Unlike the movie, we have one long take where the camera follows Sundar from behind as he gets out his car and walks through the local area, through the alleys and slums, observing the common folk; this is to show how out-of-touch he really is with reality. He finally comes to the little girl's house, and the camera finally pans to reveal Sundar's somber face; this scene is crucial as this paints his actions for the rest of the movie, it is important that we spend time showing how this incident impacts him. Unable to look at the girl's burnt face Sundar turns around and walks away, he signals his PA to sort the family out with treatment for the little girl.
From here, we go to the scene with Rendu (Radha Ravi) at the hotel; this will go pretty much exactly how it did in the movie. The only difference here is, going into the hotel Sundar is slightly solemn, but his expression slowly changes with Rendu's speech and we get the scene with the 'Topu Tuckeru' BGM as Sundar smokes. The following events also unravel similar to the film with the action block and the 'Simtaangaran song'; these are commercial filler compromises that must be made, its also a staple of the ARM-Vijay combo movies. The following scene is also similar with Sundar instigating the court case to stop Masilamani's inauguration, the key difference though is that Sundar doesn't speak in the court he silently watches from the stands as his lawyer does the arguing. Once the ceremony is stopped, he gets up, does the 'Vijay gum flick' and walks away in slow motion with the 'CEO in the House' BGM; this mirrors the opening scene where Sundar finesses the board room, but this time he's finessed the government. The election is postponed by 10 days.
Meanwhile, Masilamani is furious by what Sundar started, he encourages his party members to start rioting and to find where Sundar is. The riots go on for 2 days, but there is no sign of Sundar anywhere. Masilamani grows impatient and starts seeking advice from Pappa (Varalaxmi), who says that they shouldn't have tried instigated or started beef with him in the first place, saying that she will be back in Chennai within the next day or so. While this is happening, media crews have gathered outside Masilamani's house which confuses him. Rendu goes outside and asks them why they are here, for which they respond: 'Sundar told us to meet him here'. Both Rendu and Masilamani are shocked. Suddenly a convoy of youngsters on bikes arrive with a Rolls Royce travelling at the centre of the party. Sundar gets out of the Rolls Royce and he is followed by his lawyers. Sundar asks for permission to enter, for which Masilamani obliges. The two sit down and face each other, with Masilamani asking what Sundar wants. Sundar responds with this:

1. "I've got 750 youngsters who are ready to work for this party."
2. "I've got 40 crores in hard cash."
3. "I've got the tag of GL CEO."
4. "Will you let me join your party?"

Masilamani and his partymen are shocked, he asks Sundar 'Why should I let you?". Sundar basically responds by saying:

"Your party's image is in shambles, even if you pay people to vote for you, they won't do it. You're guaranteed to lose this election and there's nothing you can do about it. I'm here to offer you the winning card, I will do everything to ensure your party retains. All I ask for is 70cr in campaigning funds and that you give me 2 MLA seats and take in the 750 youngsters that I have brought as party members. If your party loses, I will pay you twice what you paid me as a penalty but regardless of the outcome you can't raise this to the media or I will sue your ass. If you agree, sign the contract. You can let your lawyers read over it, but you have nothing to lose."

Masilamani is shocked by this offer and looks over the contract, he doesn't know how to read so he passes it to his lawyer who verifies it and says that it's legit. Rendu proposes that they wait for Pappa before signing, but Sundar says "if you don't accept this within the next 1 hour, I will take it to the opposition party". Masilamani is properly checkmated now, but what could he possible have to lose? He smiles and signs it, Sundar smiles and shakes his hand. Sundar walks out with a cigarette in-hand, the 'Oru Viral Puratchi' guitar rift rolls in the background.
INTERMISSION
Going into the second half, we have a few questions:

• Why did Sundar join Masilamani's party if they are the losing side?
• Where was Sundar in the two days during the riots?
• How did Sundar get the backing of all these youngsters?
• How does Sundar plan on making the party win and how does this benefit him?

NOTE: I completely ignored Keerthi Suresh's character as it added nothing to my story.
With 8 days left till the election Sundar sits in his office, he calls his team and GL and tells them to run the ads of him giving the post press conference speech after getting back his vote (as he does in the movie). This creates waves in the media and makes him the poster boy for the coming election. He tells his PA not to organise any press conferences until he says so. Sundar has booked out a small venue where he will be speaking to the 750 youngsters that he has inaugurated into the party, this is where he finally reveals what happened in the last 2 days. We get a flashback and it is revealed that he ultimately did the same as what happened in the movie; to run an internet scan on all the most suitable candidates of each constituency and run interviews like a corporate company (I really like the idea of this), he positions the people he selected as independant candidates in their respective constituency. Sundar has been planning this since the scene with Rendu at the hotel; this all plays as a montage over the first half of 'Oru Viral Puratchi'. After the song we cut back to this speech with Sundar and the youth, where he basically says we are going to infiltrate this party from the inside and then he says the 'branding' dialogue from the movie (which I like the idea of, the mannerism was kinda cringe though).
Following the speech, Sundar enacts his next plan. He identifies Masilamani's candidates who are most likely to win in their respective area and launches a smear campaign through his influence over GL. This forces Masilamani to identify alternate party members to take their place, but Sundar presents Masilamani with the constituency polling data which shows that the independant candidates (that he selected based on the internet scan) are in the lead. Sundar suggests to Masilamani that they buy them out with a salary (also like corporate company), however Masilamani doesn't know that these individuals were planted by Sundar. Masilamani is beginning to get suspicious about Sundar's plan but he still hasn't fully sniffed it out yet given his lack of understanding about technology.
Pappa finally arrives in Chennai from Canada and confronts her dad about everything that has happened, she is shocked to find out that he has basically sold the party to Sundar. She is quickly able to deduce Sundar's plan based on the information given by her dad and Rendu. Pappa also reveals here that her husband was one of the board members from the start of the movie, which explains why she knows so much about Sundar.
Given that Sundar now controls most of the seats in the party, he begins his campaign from the background with candidates doing most of the work ; this plays over the second half of the 'Oru Viral Puratchi' song. As soon as this montage finishes, we find out that Masilamani has died. A confusion has now arisen as to who controls the party, with only 3 days left until the election. Pappa gives an angry press conference saying that Sundar had cheated her dad and stole the party, revealing the contract to the public. She also announces that she and her father's loyal supporters will be joining the opposition party. Based on the sympathy votes gained from her father's death the opposition offers Pappa a significant number of seats. Sundar is shocked to see what has happened, he won't be able to sue Pappa as Masilamani was the one that signed the contract (not sure about legal terms, but lets just go with it), suing her will also only get him more negative press.
Sundar gets a call from the GL board questioning him about his extensive involvement in politics given the bad press around his contract stunt. Cut to the next scene, Sundar is in a press conference and publicly announces his resignation from GL as he is about to leave the stage, he is heckled by one of the reporters on his way down. Sundar has to give up his company assets such as his PA and bodyguards, if he loses this election he still owes Masilamani's family 140crs as per the contract that he signed. For the first time in Sundar's life, overconfidence has led to his downfall. With two days left till the election and no internet influence and power, how is Sundar going to win?
The next day he posts a Facebook live and addresses his plan transparently with the party, this can be the same as the 'Idhu Namma Sarkar' scene from the movie. Sundar explains how he chose his candidates and compares it to the millions of college graduates who get a corporate job, highlighting the need for the government to be qualified. This gets some positive buzz for Sundar but not enough to win the election. As Sundar sits in his office, hopelessly, one of his candidates tells him about 'Saatai' Muthukumar (this plotline will be the same as the movie); this could be the ideal trump card to win the election. This ticks of an idea, given that all Masilamani's loyalists have moved to the opposition along with Pappa all the party assets now reside with Sundar. He hires a corporate auditing team to unpack all the party records and finds all the holes in there records this allows him to unpack the 'Saatai' Muthukumar conspiracy and he has all the evidence ready to go public... but he waits. Sundar contacts Pappa for a meeting and the two sit down, with lawyers present. Sundar reveals everything that he has found from his audit of the party and threatens to go public with it unless she voids their contract where he owes her family 140cr, he also agrees to sign an NDA. Pappa obliges and asks him to burn the evidence in front of her, which Sundar does. On the car ride home, Pappa orders for Sundar to be murdered as she doesn't trust him.
The next morning is the day of the election, similar to the actual movie Sundar begins tweeting from a fake twitter handle about the evidence pulled from the audit, leading the media on a wild easter egg hunt to put the evidence together themselves, this removes any paper trails that lead back to Sundar. Pappa and the opposition party struggle to manage the storm that has been caused by the tweeting, she knows this was done by Sundar but has no evidence to prove it; the only way for her save face is if Sundar confesses to his manipulation for which he needs to be alive, so she cancels the hit on him. It is soon revealed, similar to the movie that the fake twitter handle is associated with that of a dead man, begging the question of who is tweeting? Sundar and his team re-route the IP address of the tweets to the leader of the opposition party and spin the narrative that he did this to tarnish Masilamani's reputation as a leader, which leads to in-fighting. Pappa is furious, as although she knows the truth about Sundar's access to the evidence, she can't speak about it due to the NDA (which would open her up to being sued). With no other option, she plots to have Sundar killed, as it looks like he is going to win. We can insert an obligatory climax fight here, where Sundar overcomes the odds but realising an opportunity, he fakes his own death which increases the votes to his party, leading to a victory in the election.
The following day is the swearing-in ceremony as all the candidates take up their positions. Pappa is also present and she along with everyone else believes Sundar is dead. Just as the first candidate is swearing-in, Sundar arrives and sits right next to Pappa, there is a media frenzy happening outside. There is a small bit of dialog between the two and he explains why he did all this (i.e. reference back to the girl who was burnt outside the collecter's office, etc). He finally tells her that the contract he signed with her father was only for 8 days, so his time has expired and he is no longer part of the party. Sundar gets up and walks away in slow motion as the credit roll.
This is my reimagining of Sarkar, what are your thoughts and what would you do differently? And what movie should I do next?

Preface: I do not profess this opinion as the canonical and factual ending. I like the interpretations and ambiguity, which is why i believe this play is genius in its writing. This is my essay and case as to why i believe the kids ended up surviving in the end. I really tried to find where Jacob Richmond has ever said directly that they definitely don't return at all, or anything that confirmed the fate of the group aside from Jane/Penny ofc. As far as I am aware, he has only just focused on their death and has never explicitly confirmed any theories of the fate of the group. That is technically my first point I just discussed to back up the theory, but everybody knows the ambiguity of the ending has left a lot open to interpretation, so we won't count it ;). Besides, he can always one day come out and just decide the canonical fate to everybody and completely throw whatever I have here out the window, but hopefully he leaves it ambiguous. I apologize in advance for grammatical and structural mistakes. I tried to be organized with my thoughts, but i am also impatient and just type lol
1) Karnak's Prohpecy to the Group:
I know it is widely accepted that the "complete the whole" is referring to Ocean giving the prize to Jane in order to restore her "whole" and reincarnate her as her being the only one who lives in the end..... but technically, you could actually argue that the fortune means that when Ocean, who is the one who is the final and toughest person to come to terms and find peace in her death, gives the prize to Jane Doe, who was the biggest "loser" out of all of them, it will complete the "whole"....... as in the GROUP as a "whole". Ocean giving the prize to Jane Doe was the last and final resolution of the entire group as a "whole". They were all complete. There was nothing else that they needed to figure out or resolve after that and they all became complete and content in the end. They became whole and fulfilled the prophecy Karnak made, which funny enough, made the prophecy whole itself. Everything was made "whole". Personally, I think it is more face value, far fetched, and easy to assume that the "whole" meant JUST Jane Doe being complete. Focusing too much on the prize itself, and not the meaning of what the whole journey of the play/plot was meant to be about really. Karnak's prize of returning one person to life, i believe, was a red herring anyway. Karnak knows way too much about the group and it would defeat the whole purpose and have not nearly as much of an impact if he told everybody, "All of you will return to life if you learn your lessons 🤗". So, to assume the widely accepted assumption most people go with and it is nothing more... makes the idea only Jane was given life (the prize) just more flimsy in my eyes.
2) Wording, Context, and Specific Choice of Words That Were Written:
Ofc, Jane gets a life and is reincarnated we know this. Notice how that isn't the same as being brought back to life if you want to get technical though. Reincarnation and resurrection are very separate definitions when it comes to death and have been widely accepted as such. Her actual body and who she was, was not actually resurrected. Also, religions, most notably Hinduism, always tell us that reincarnation is the CONTINUATION of life. Life never stopped. As a matter of fact, Jane sings this in the beginning and end of the play. This is why a lot of people believe the group is in a constant time loop. It is a complete restart going from being alive.... to being alive in a different form for Jane. Amd it is a restart for the group which I will explain further. And if we are to interpret resurrection and reincarnation as separate, then nobody actually won the prize that Karnak said would be given. If the ending shows time being manipulated and reversed (or they were moved to another timeline. Gonna get into that later lol)..... then how is one dead if they never were to have died in the first place 👀 (Manipulation of time). So in a way, WE WERE ALL RIGHT. They did die in the timeline they were originally in, time technically did loop around to the point of where they were before, and they all are bow alive. Would be f'ing mind blowing.
3) Karnak's Reliability, Prophecies, and Misleading Nature:
Tieing into the previous point of evidence.... Karnak has been established since the beginning of the story to be misleading and not very trustworthy in what he says to be the entire truth or not the ONLY truth. However, that is not to say what he says has not come to fruition. All of his prophecies come true. Now, you may think that if I say this, then I just contradicted my point about him saying he would bring someone back to life in the end. That's where I am going to bring up the specific wording and how Karnak has operated in his prophecies and his nature as a character. See, even though they weren't playing a game as established in the ending..... Karnak explicitly stated when they arrived in Limbo that he wanted to play a game. That game was part of the red herring and the misleading nature of his character. It was a game for Karnak not them. Karnak constantly shifted the rules and regulations of the game throughout the play (never lied), but you know when he is clearly giving a prophecy (Ex: The winner and the loser make the whole). If the game never existed (as evident by the fact they were never actually competing, let alone even competing for a prize)..... If there wasn't a game being played.... then that would mean the prize was not the actual reward that was even given. So then you may ask, "What would that mean about the prophecy of the winner and the loser making the whole then if that is the case? Doesn't that contradict that theory?". That's where wording is very tricky and amazing about this play. A winner and a loser can be correlated to that of a conflict, battle or endeavor. You could actually refer to life as being the endeavor. Ocean was the one who wanted to win the most out of life, and Jane was the one who lost the most out of life. In Limbo, that continues to be the case. Ocean still is striving to win at her life (one who wants to win the most) while Jane can't and is eternally labeled as, literally, the loser. So, who wins and loses doesn't have to be in the context of an actual game or contest. And if you want to say there was a contest or game, then the only kind was with themselves. They were MAKING it a contest initially if anything.
Karnak has never lied. If there was never a game,, then there were never rules, and if there were never rules, then he really has never lied. Mislead? Yes. If you believe it was a game, then it would only be a game from Karnak's perspective. He would make changes, but has never actually lied.
4) Karnak's Powers and What He Was Going to Say Before His Death:
By the end of the play, at this point, it's absolutely perfectly reasonable to assume Karnak has the ability to bring all of them back if he were to be able to do everything else he has done in the show. He has never stated that he isn't capable of it, and just says that he is able to bring someone back who wins. Powers we know he is capable of are (and not limited to as far as we know) time manipulation, spacial manipulation, controlling life and death, prophecising, resurrection (we actually don't even know if he is capable of this technically, but probably is), reincarnation, and being an overall omnipotent and all knowing being. I know it is even more of a deeper dive, but if they are in a time loop and the last time we see the group, is when they are back on the coaster..... who is to say he didn't take them to a time where the accident doesn't happen? Somebody said that they are just constantly in a never ending loop on the coaster at the end cause of the screams and the gestures? But idk how we would get that when a roller coaster has multiple dips so idk how you would get the conclusion from just gestures. I would like to mention that Karnak was about to mention another prophecy before his death, so there clearly was something that we are meant to try and figure out what it could be that he didn't mention. I just know there is something significant about the number 7 that ties into it somehow, cause I haven't been able to figure out the significance of that number besides the time of when they were riding the coaster. There has to be more to it.
5) The Light:
Ok, I just know someone is going to say something about the light, and I totally understand..... but it's not enough to counter everything else that was previously mentioned. Jane and the group had different colors for the light because they both traveled different paths of their return. And also, you could easily interpret the change of light for the group to show that they were back in the carnival setting and they just made the light green because they were matching the carnival color aesthetic. It's just something that I get is subtle and should definitely be taken into consideration, but it's just not enough. You would have to examine if there is any symbolism in color within the story and if they are actually associated with anything in the play itself, which as far as I can tell.... the white light is the only symbolic color I could discern.
P.S. I'm sorry, but I flat out am going to say that the theory that Jane Doe always was Penny is not believable imo cause if you know of Legoland, people would DEFINITELY know who she was, her fingerprints, law enforcement and the school having a strong enough inpression from her criminal activity and how unhinged she was when she was alive. There's just no way her death would have gone unnoticed if she was Penny before she died. So, she was definitely reincarnated as Penny. Not resurrected. You could argue that she got reincarnated as Penny, and then that is the actual Penny from Legoland, but like........ what would be the contextual clues and evidence if that's the case? The only thing would be that Jane (whoever she was before death) and Penny both go to the same school canonically, but like...... Penny also has a brother who goes to the same school..... so even if her parents were locked up while she was dead, her brother would've known so very easily. To say she didn't have a brother pre Jane Doe would be saying so without any actual contextual evidence.

I am normally an extremely patient person, who can sit there and hear out most criticism I receive with relatively low difficulty, while being Autistic.
Even when I am being yelled at by angry customers, being called out for poor behaviour or bad decision making, telling me I'm wrong so on and so forth. I usually do well in listening and trying to respond appropriately and accordingly.
However, today, on another sub-reddit, I made a post advertising some new games. I am a Dungeon MasteGame Master for multiple TTRPGS online, I made the posts for 2 of my four newest games which are pay to play. The reason being is because I am becoming increasingly unhappy with my retail job, and I'm not making enough money to justify putting myself through it. So, for the past year, I've been working towards becoming a professional GM, currently running 4 different games on my only two days off a week. With one even being a paid game (to see whether or not I could make it all work).
And now, after much planning, much work, I finally post the games. And on one of them, I get bombarded with comments that range from passive-aggressive, to outright feeling hostile.
I understand fully that it isn't something for everyone and I was okay with people voicing their opinions about it, but, when the comments turned into targeting me and the stuff I put together and spent all night trying to get right, trying to think of any reason possible to put it down (to the point it felt unreal), I feel like I snapped. I didn't want to hear any of it and I tried to defend myself with lengthy and very wordy responses, with an intent to help them understand. But, I just felt so angry, so sad, so upset, I've never reacted like that before on anything.
I have my kitty here for support, but I just feel so lost. Like, all that work doesn't mean anything and I should just give up on it and try desperately to think of something else that I at least won't hate.
But, it still bothers me. After deleting the ads (I kept the games up in the vague hope it all works out), I still feel resentment towards them for what they said but also feel this deep pit in my stomach that felt like I am wrong.

Right now my best friend and his gf are hanging out with my ex. For background, my ex and I introduced my best friend to his current girlfriend. I left my ex because she was manipulative, didn't trust me, and she didn't respect me. For once in a relationship, i stood up for myself and didnt let myself get walked all over. This was the woman I was convinced I would marry and I was so madly in love with her. Breaking up with her was the hardest thing I ever did, it was the first and hopefully only time that I've had to break up with someone while I still loved them. And specifically she was the women I mever ever thought would be out of my life. She was my person, and I still yearn for what could have been. She found a new boyfriend a few weeks later while almost a year later I still cry over her. I've changed so much as a person through learning about myself and healing and feel like I'm in such a good place in life from all the pain I'm still healing from. But just sometimes like tonight it just feels unfair that they all get to hang out and she literally replaced me without having to learn from it at all. I want to move on but it's so tough since my best friend is dating her best friend and we live together. I'm doing the best I can. I've tried dating apps, meeting people in person at many places, speed dating, and I just can't get a date. It just sucks that my ex gets to ignore all the pain and I'm still here feeling it and I don't really have anyone I can talk to about it. All my friends are in relationships or dating people, so no one can relate to my struggles. I'm just lonely.

Idk, does it? I get a little bit triggered every time I hear that phrase. Not like I'll be depressed forever, I won't. Sure the single worst days will pass, they always do, but the daily struggles aren't going anywhere, all the small things limit what I'm able to do. Is that just pessimistic thinking?
As time goes on I just feel like I'm missing more and more in life. Slowly becoming a hermit despite my work and wishes for the opposite. I don't feel I can fit inti this world the way they expect, it's hostile and competitive and full of unnecessary conflict and greed. I can't live with myself if I emulate that mindset. I've only ever once been angry(r-word). I'd rather die than hurt someone, and in this society somebody has to get hurt, you need losers so a few can win.
I'm starting to realize that I don't want to force myself into that life, I don't want to be alone but I think I could tolerate people and work without all that's wrong today. I don't think I'm crazy for not functioning in a broken world. And we're making no progress on addressing those issues. Why did we stop fighting for humanity? Most my family were socialist and rebellious in their youth, half my country was. but they all settled with capitalism. It makes me sick, but I'm no rebel and the cause it's long dead, greed won.
I might achieve some happiness in life, but I can't really fit in until the world changes. I'll flare this progress because I'm starting to see that I personally am not the problem, and that's a damn good feeling

first and foremost, I am so happy this page exists, since the PLL page got deleted I was lost on where to follow the drama lol! So secondly, I have been wondering abotu this for a while now. How does she even make any money? Obviously she isn't working a ,,normal" job and it seems that she is just constanly home making IG pictures and stories (nothing wrong with that), but how is she making any income? I know she has ahd a lipstick line which will renew now with new shades, but I cannot imagine that making enough money to pay her rent and buy groceries. And yes she did publish a poetry book, same goes for this one tho. There is no monthly income as it seems, how the hell is she still able to purchase anything she wants? I live in Europe and people who are jobless get paid about 1200€ (I think? I've never been jobless) from the state until they find a job, is it the same in the USA? With that being said let's get to today's vote!
Today is day 46 of tier voting and we are on to the last of the Gen 7 starters! Soon enough we will be back to our regular voting from specific suggestions! Primarina is the only starter to ever receive the Fairy type, and one of only 4 WateFairy type Pokemon in existence! Primarina has a pretty solid stat spread, with good Special Defense and very good Special Attack at the tradeoff of a pretty rough Speed stat and a little lacking on the Physical Defense side. Its Hidden Ability is also a signature ability as its the only Pokemon to have it. Liquid Voice turns all the Pokemon's Sound-based moves into Water-type moves and therefore gives it STAB on those moves, which works well for Primarina with its natural moveset as well as its Egg moves. Fairy typing is also really good for the final Rival fight and pretty good for the final boss fight, although it is weak to Poison. PokeRogue also gave Primarina a huge buff through its Passive Ability, Punk Rock, which further boosts the power of all the Pokemon's Sound-based moves. Primarina also has a strong level-up moveset meaning it doesn't need TMs, although it can get some added coverage and utility from its TM capability, it certainly doesn't need it in most scenarios.

I'm 30 and I've learned a lot of things through several heart breaks that could have been avoided. Despite being told I simply didn't believe it and people really need to know what to look out for.
Here's what I and alot other people I know have learned. Some are subtle "orange flags", others are hard red flags.

1. If they don't have a single nice thing to say about any partner they've had. All of their exes are crazy, mentally ill, nasty in one way or another etc. This is generally a good indication that they cannot take accountability and haven't reflected on their own short comings. Generally people make mistakes in relationships and learn from them, if every failed relationship they had was solely the fault of their ex and never anything they did, it's not a good sign. Even more so if their exes are happily married/in long term relationships now.
   
2. They admit intense, fairytale emotions towards you very early on. Classic examples being "I've never felt this way about anyone else before", "I can't imagine life without you", "you're my soul mate" or some kind of expression of how perfect you are. It might seem nice and flattering but these feelings take time to cultivate and making these claims when they don't even know you in too much depth yet may indicate how flippant and casual this person throws those words around. If they can say that about you in the space of a few weeks, they can say that about other people just as easily. Love bombing is very very real and it's not even a conscious effort a lot of the time. Keep a rational head on you. Actions speak louder then words.
   
3. If they've just got out of a committed relationship/ have a history of getting into new relationships very quickly. This is a very common behaviour for avoidants and a good indication that this person cannot deal with their feelings in a healthy way. Avoidants use relationships as a coping mechanism for dealing with heartache and loneliness. These people also tend to have back ups and cultivate second relationships whilst they are currently in one in case this one doesn't work out. This is called monkey branching and it is VERY VERY common. I didn't know this was a thing until recently and it exists everywhere! These people cannot be single and they usually come with the lovebombing in number 2. They also usually cannot communicate in a healthy way and will maintain everything is fine while they look for their next relationship. When this happens, you will be discarded and treated like stranger. Please look out for this, I've seen it ruin lives of many people including myself.

1. If they don't have any friends. Some people are just unfortunate or prefer to be on their own but this usually isn't the case. If someone doesn't have people in their life they can go to or hang out with, this may be a sign they are not a good person. People naturally flock away from people who are artificial, untrustworthy and unkind. If this person you're seeing doesn't have friends, it might be a good idea to tread carefully. Even more so if they're family doesn't really want to know them or you.
   
2. If all of your friends or family have an issue with them. Sometimes the odd friend or family member don't like them, but if a lot of people who care for you are telling you they aren't right, it's really not a good sign. The honeymoon period and dopamine really inhibits your judgement and prevents you from seeing things that others can. Listen to what your loved ones are telling you, do not disregard this.
   
3. Look out for how they treat other people they "care" about in their life, this will be you down the line. Their children, parents, good friends etc. If they are unreliable, 2 faced, doing unkind things to them or letting them down, there is a good chance they will do this to you too. If you are seeing someone who will happily mistreat the important people in their life, it says a lot about their values and what the future holds.
   
4. If they are always a victim, this another key indicator they cannot take accountability for their actions. Something went wrong at work, falling out with someone, money issues, if everything that goes wrong in their life is something/someone else's fault then they are incapable of/refuse to grow and admit fault. This is a good indicator of how your relationship with them will be. Also worth noting that mindless apologies with little/no talking is also an indicator of this as its a method to end the discussion without truly understanding what the problem is and dismissing it. "Please shut up, I don't want to communicate about this in a healthy way". These issues will more than likely repeat themselves.
   

And lastly, a big one for me

1. ANGER. Anger is a normal human emotion however, if they are getting easily angered and you find yourself treading carefully, GET OUT. It's normal to get frustrated with things but if that is manifesting over trivial things like wanting to talk about something that is bothering you, being home 15 minutes later than anticipated or not replying to a text/phonecall quickly enough, this is not normal. Anger also escalates over time, growing from verbal abuse, threats, to throwing things, to physical violence. This is not because they care or because they love you, I heard that one. They need help and you need to remove yourself. IT IS NOT OKAY!

These are my obscure red flags that I've learned that aren't so obvious. This isnt just me either, this is coming from several people. Of course they won't always be the case and there are exceptions, but it generally is the case. Keep yourselves safe and protect your mental wellbeing. Please add to this if you have learned any others!

Ram: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR5 Ram 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz PC5-48000 CL38 Intel XMP 3.0
Background: Went to a discord server a while back to request a pc build for 1100~, got what I wanted and asked some friends and other people and they said that it should be fine. Got the parts in last December and it didn't boot up, then tried finding anything wrong and couldn't seem to see anything besides 2 red lights for CPU and DRAM. Ok well I'll go and get replacement parts for the cpu and ram, didn't work and tried again, also didn't work. OK maybe it's the motherboard, those are usually faulty on arrival, and so did the reviews say as well. Tried that 2 more times and still had the same exact issue. Then tried getting help from the only person in town that works on pc's and he could find anything other than that the ram that I had previously wasn't on the motherboards list in the website, ok well i'll try and get an identical ram compared to the previous on, of course the same issue occurred. Tried asking on the discord server i got the build from and so far I've only gotten that I should sue 2 pcie cables for the GPU and that some PSU cables were loose. That still didn't fix my PC and now we're up to date (this was over the course of 6 months btw).
Some other fixes I've tried doing is updating BIOS for the motherboard and moving the power cable to the outlet.
Now by the time I post this I will be busy either working or sleeping, but I will try to reply asap.

I was having a dream where the justice league were being hunted by a group of people in white (don't ask, I don't understand too) and one of them started chasing batman in my school. Then I suddenly tried to get lucid almost like I always knew I was dreaming; it didn't work, the dream started to fad and I did not appear in the dream, I tried spinning around, touching the floor, nothing worked. The only thing I felt was my body on my bed. Then I decided to wake up Does anyone have experience lucid dreaming in 3rd person?

This was a few years ago now. At the time I 17m and my new wife 21f got pregnant and had a kid. Sorry but this is a long story..
A bit of needed back story though… when I was 6 my parents divorced due to my dad cheating on my mom. I didn’t realize until I was older but my dad was what you would call an abusive drunk. My mom was verbally abusive and high on pills all the time. When my parents finally got divorced I remember couch surfing with my mom because we got evicted from the house since she wasn’t able to keep a job. My dad did pay child support but I have no idea what would happen to it. There were a lot of guns, drugs, violence, and death in my younger years. I turned 12 and started to understand everything and saw my dad turning his life around with his new wife so I decided to move in with him. It was a rough couple of years but it worked out in the end. That said onto the story..
That summer was a very fulling time in my life. I graduated high school, signed up for the military, and got married in 2019. I was in boot camp for the first 10 weeks of my wife’s pregnancy as it was our only income. Flash forward to us going to my first duty station. My first duty station ended up being 5 hours away from my father’s, and 3 hours away from her parents. In early 2020 our beautiful son was born. This where things started getting bad. My wife was suffering from postpartum and refused to get treatment. So instead, her treatment was going to her parents for a few weeks at a time. Besides her mom knowing my son better than I did, this worked out well. My wife and kid were happy and healthy besides a few mental breakdowns here and there. Then Covid and the Riots started happening. I was stationed on the outskirts of a large city. My base ended up restricting travel to 50 miles outside of base (this meant I wasn’t able to drive my wife and son to her parents anymore as I’d be breaking no less than 4 articles of the UCMJ if I was caught) this is where things took a turn for the worst. My wife got separation anxiety as this was the longest she’s ever been away. We started arguing a lot more often. Everytime I went to work, she would just stay in bed with our son and do nothing at all. I got very stressed but managed to juggle a 70 hour work week, feeding and taking care of my family, cleaning our apartment, and taking care of all the bills and expenses. My command decided to put me in something called ASF which basically means twice a week on top of my regular job, I’d now do gate guard duty and work with the MP’s on a 14 hour rotation. Things got so loaded on to my metaphorical plate that I developed stress related sleep apnea and couldn’t get a good nights rest on top of all of this. Months go by and nothing is getting better. I’ve recommended therapy, couples therapy, trying to go on walks, talking it out.. my wife didn’t want to do any of it. What’s worse is still wasn’t able to hold of get to know my kid very much at all. It got it he point that in August of 2020 I decided I wasn’t going to let my kid grow up how I grew up and asked for a divorce. I didn’t want him to grow up living with resentment towards his mom and dad, I hated every second of the arguing that took place in front of him, even if he didn’t understand. It broke my heart but I felt we’d do better co parenting instead of being together.
The divorce goes through and it was uncontested. My ex wife fell in love with her best friend from her hometown and was able to quickly move on and marry within a year. She got main custody and I got weekends. I started paying child support 3 months before I had to bc I wanted to make sure they were taken care of. She moved back in with her parents, however, and this caused some strain once we were divorced seeing as how I still wasn’t allowed to travel up there that often. Things got worse between me and my now ex wife dues to the travel ban and her not willing to compromise that much. From January of 2021 to July I was only able to see my kid about 5 times in total. In July my state decided to lift the travel ban and so did my base!
I started making plans and a schedule that my ex agreed to at first. Me and my ex were not very friendly to each other however. I resorted to only texting her about making plans surrounding my son. Bc of this she retaliates and won’t let me see him. It got to the point to where I was calling the cops so they could knock on her door as I stayed by my car. There is body cam footage, recorded phone calls, text messages, and screen shots of her refusing to let me see my kid. My ex then decides to file for more custody and more child support. Wishing 2 weeks I had to take leave, find and hire a lawyer with no money to my name, gather my evidence, and show up to court on a Thursday. Thankfully my loving aunt helped me pay a portion of the retainer so we could get things started with the lawyer. My wife also filed a temporary restraining order against me stating I was “violent and a danger to her and our kid” I had evidence to prove otherwise however, so I wasn’t worried. My lawyer stated this would be considered a separate case thus doubling my retainer. At this point in time I’m living on 70% of $30,000 a year, maxed out my credit cards to pay bills, and had to find an extra $10,000 for this lawyer. My wife lived in a small town so he was literally the only other option for me. This lawyer was terrible though. He told me I had to file my own affidavit, subpoena the officers linked to my case number for the body cam footage, and file all my evidence with the court due to the short notice. I didn’t have access to half the websites due to them costing money and needing an attorneys credentials so needless to say, I didn’t get the body cam footage. Court time appears and the judge grants that I’m allowed to do supervised visits every weekend until the new year. Once the new year came I would’ve been allowed to see him on the original plan for every other week unsupervised. This had me livid, but I accepted since I just wanted to see my kid. A few weeks go by and I’m finally getting to know my son. He was the only thing that kept me going in life at this point. He was and still is my main source of happiness. My lawyer calls me randomly one day stating that my wife put on the terms that my son wasn’t allowed to see my grandparents or my aunt when he was going to start staying with me every other weekend. No reasons were given. I of course denied these changes and wanted to keep the agreement how it was. Atleast then I could keep seeing him. My ex text me later that day stating “my lawyer asked me to inform you that since you refused to sign the updated agreement the restraining order is now back in place” I called my lawyer and immediately asked him to figure this out as this shouldn’t be legal. My lawyer then asked for another $5000 as it’s another case. I told him fine but he needs to actually do some work this time. He said he’d get back to me in a week with an update. A month goes by and I end up calling him asking what the situation was with my current case and he asked for the money to be paid before he looks into it. I told him that’s not what we agreed and that I’m making regular payments as you requested. My lawyer flat out says it’s not enough. I need it up front since I don’t believe you’re able to pay it. He was right I wasn’t able to pay it but I was trying my damndest to. I took 2 weeks to deliberate and talk to family and friends about my whole situation. At this point I’m now $12,000 in lawyer debt ($3,00 is what my aunt help with earlier) $15,000 in credit card debt and surviving off of $50-$100 a week for food and gas. I can’t sleep, I’ve gained 70 pounds in the span of a year. I was getting in trouble with the military for being late due to lack of sleep, being overweight, and rarely being at work since I had to go to my ex wife’s town to fight this custody battle so often. Ultimately I decided that this is turning into my parents divorce where they were putting me and my brother in the middle of all of there disagreements and fights. That’s exactly what I was trying to prevent, so I decided I couldn’t bring myself to hurt my son with all of this anymore. I’d keep a folder full of all the screen shots, text messages, photos, affidavits, etc. when he gets older, if he decides he wants to give me a chance… if he even knows about me, I’ll have it ready for him to read so he can make his own decision. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and I still don’t know if it was the right thing to do..

A bit of an introduction: I left my religion four years ago during the Covid lockdown. With a lot of free time on my hands, I researched the Quran and its interpretations. Even before that, I was never very religious, but reading inaccurate scientific verses and encountering barbaric practices was the final nail in the coffin. After struggling to find meaning in life, I embraced deism and chose to live peacefully, without worrying too much about social or religious issues in my country. I essentially live in a bubble.
My family is less religious than moderate Muslims, except for my eldest sibling, whom I rarely see. We don't pray, believe that hijab should not be forced upon anyone, and support secularism. Despite this, they still consider themselves Muslims, which is fine by me.
I’m quite comfortable in my social circle. My friends range from moderate to religious, which is understandable in a Muslim-majority country. I'm content with my current situation. I live in a very urbanized area, essentially the capital of the capital, where Muslims are a minority. Even when I encounter Muslims here, they tend to be non-religious based on their attire and lifestyle.
I've been dating a girl from a semi-rural area. We met online, and initially, I was skeptical because she wears a hijab. However, I decided to give it a shot because she is very much my type: cute, petite, and intelligent. Early in our relationship, I subtly indicated that I'm not very religious, by going to the gym when most Muslims would be preparing for Maghrib, not talking about Islamic stuff. She even joked during Ramadan, asking what I was having for lunch in a funny manner . Once we got closer, we had discussed how the government uses religion to win votes, and talked about LGBTQ rights. We were very much on the same page. When we hang out, she doesn'tt pray like she did on our first date. We'd go out from 9 AM to 10 PM without stopping to pray. She's comfortable with physical contact like holding hands, hugging, and even kissing (cheeks and forehead), all consensual.
Things have been going well for almost a year and a half until she started hinting that she wants me to be more religious. She began with comments like "You're not perfect, but I accept you as you are," progressing to "You're not perfect, but I can teach you things and we can improve together." I know she's referring to my irreligiousness. Once, while discussing meditation and Buddhism, she seemed annoyed and said, "We're Muslim, right? We follow Islamic values." That was the first time I saw her not being herself. I kept a straight face and laughed it off. Last night, we were talking about our goals and marriage plans for the end of this year. She mentioned wanting to do everything together—grocery shopping, movies, raising kids, growing old, and praying together. I just replied with a "yeah," and I think she knows I wasn't on board with the last one.
I feel like I'm at fault here. I didn't give her enough hints, and I didn't tell her the truth that I'm not a Muslim. She might only continuing dating me because she thinks she can fix me. I'm fine living with a moderate Muslim; I can always hold my tongue and nod when I don't agree with someone's opinion. I've never cared about other people's religion and never tried to convert people to atheism, deism or wahtever. I've been doing that for over 20 years in this country. I don't mind not outing myself or having as many freedoms as a non-Muslim. I thought we could find a middle ground in our relationship, where I dont talk about her faith and she doesnt talk about mine.
I've been thinking a lot lately about whether to marry her. I can always find a new girlfriend, but it hurts to leave someone who truly loves you. Finding a new girlfriend in this country might not fix anything. At worst, I'll find someone more religious. At best, I'll find someone with the same level of tolerance as her. Filtering for less religious girls almost always shows party girls who drink and smoke. While that's not necessarily bad, I just don't think a girl that is closing to 30, still focusing with party and not being financially stable is a good wife material.
Dating a non-Muslim isn't an option for me. I once dated a Chinese girl who liked me for thinking differently compared to other Muslims and having a very rare attraction towards my light brown skin. We broke it off because we couldn't see a future together; her family wouldn't agree to her marrying outside her race, let alone converting just to marry me. Unless the country changes the law on interfaith marriage, there's no hope for that.
Right now, I'm just not sure if she's the best I can get.

Since some politicians and Nepalese doubt the Late King (Crown Prince) Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, I wanted to say something on my behalf. Firstly do you guys think he’d be so enraged and blinded by love to kill his god-like parents and his siblings who he loved even more than himself? I do not think someone who’d be so drunk not even to be able to stand up properly would be so focused to aim at 9 people. It’s like so dumb of people to think someone would be so heartless as to kill his parents and siblings. The other thing, is RAW and CIA had opened their offices right near Former King Gyanendra Shah’s house right before 1 week, this was said by Wayne Madsen, an American. I am not blaming Former King Gyanendra but I am saying that it must be RAW and CIA’s plan to ruin the whole of Nepal. We all know King Mahendra was strictly against making Nepal a part of India and how much India resented Late King Mahendra for doing so. We also have been hearing that the reason King Mahendra died could be the brutal nature of India since they declared one part of Pakistan as Bangladesh. So King Mahendra thought if India didn’t leave such big countries like China and Pakistan, why would they leave a smaller country like Nepal was his thoughts and therefore he died. And if you all think I’m stating false things you can read a book named “RAKTAKUNDA”. Moreover, Bangladesh was formed on March 26, 1971, and King Mahendra passed away on January 31, 1972. You can see that King died right one year after Bangladesh’s formation. We’ve heard many theories in the last two decades, but are we still going to believe the lies fed by MR RAJIV SHAHI? The thing is three investigators had to look through the whole case but suddenly one of them backed out, not only that, but the fact that the investigators:- a two-man committee comprising Chief Justice Keshav Prasad Upadhaya and Speaker of the House Taranath Ranabhat investigated just for a week for a tragic incident that ruined the whole Nepal was so unacceptable. They could increase the time limit but they did not. Isn’t it evident that the Nepali politicians, investigators, and guards everyone took the massacre too lightly?? And why weren’t the royal guards questioned, why weren’t the royal family members who survived questioned? People say the guards weren’t allowed to enter the Tribhuvan Sadan(the place where the massacre took place) but the ADCs were present in a nearby office which wasn’t that far from the Sadan. You can watch:- Royal Massacre - Part 1 (3D Animation) and Durbar Hatyakanda - 3D Animation (Part 2) to understand my statements better. CP( Crown Prince) Dipendra’s ADC Gajendra Bohara stated that CP was already shot when the firings were still being shot and the other members. CP’s body did not have any guns beside him so how can one say he committed suicide? He was shot from behind. So, it makes no sense to blame CP Dipendra for the massacre. I’ll tell you guys one thing I read from Raktakunda:- CP Dipendra liked Devyani as per what we know, but King Birendra and Queen Aishwarya had already decided the date for CP Dipendra’s marriage with Supriya Shah. The worker who was appointed for the queen herself was told that Dipendra had agreed to marry Supriya Shah after much insistence since Nepalis consider it an omen to break off a marriage tie after looking for a suitable date. The marriage was supposed to take place after 1.5 years of deciding the date because the Panditji (the priest) said it would be better for CP to marry after he turned 31 in June 2003. Some rumors say:- Devyani and her parents performed tantric rituals on Dipendra, so he’d be totally over Devyani. Moreover, Devyani’s dad would send her abroad wherever CP Dipendra went so they’d initially develop a relationship. The fact that Devyani ran away to India right after the day the royal massacre took place is so suspicious. According to Lala Bd. Lamteri, a guard in the palace, Paras Shah( Gyanendra’s son ) went out and brought a few men dressed in black, what was the exact need of those men? Well, as per a few informers, Prince Nirajan Shah( Dipendra’s younger sibling) was in Pokhara with his friends a few days before the massacre, but Paras Shah insisted or let’s say forced him to go back to Kathmandu. In contrast, Prince Nirajan planned to visit Chitwan with his friends. Here comes another question:- Why did Paras insist Prince Nirajan to go back to the palace?? A worker named Shanta was also an eye witness who stated that she saw two CP Dipendra in the location. But how is it possible for one man to be in two places at the same time? The statement takes us back to the movie ‘The Matrix Reloaded’ which depicts the use of masks to look like the same man. So it could be two different people wearing masks to look like CP Dipendra and blame him for the tragic incident. This conspiracy theory has been all over Nepal, not just one person but more than two people have said that they saw two CP Dipendra whereas he was shot before anyone. Talking about the weapons not being beside his body, a guard threw a gun from his pocket saying:- Why’d a gun be needed in hospital? However, according to the ADC and the investigators, there was no gun found beside him, so the guard that placed the gun could be a part of the plan. Queen Ratna(Mother of King Birendra and Grandmother of CP Dipendra) was in a separate room chitchatting with Helen Shah. Well, she was the one who did not want the post-mortem of the Late King Birendra and other royal family members. If Dipendra had the motive to kill everyone against the marriage, he should’ve firstly killed Ratna since she was the first person to go against the marriage of CP Dipendra and Devyani Shah and provoke others to disapprove of their marriage. So why was she spared? And the fact that Gyanendra was absent during the party and his family did not even get injured so brutally, makes us question Gyanendra. Some people have confirmed he wasn’t in Pokhara either, so where was he? Paras even said in an interview, “When brother Dipendra was shooting everyone, we had eye contact, I begged him to let me go and he did.” Someone should ask him to stop using such lame excuses. According to another book namely “KAHALILAGDO RAAT”, Paras also immediately went to England after the massacre, and some staff in the hospital their Majesties were taken to say that Paras broke CP Dipendra’s ventilator when he was in a coma. And you guys reading this post, if you hear Dr. Rajiv Shahi’s lies that changed the whole perspective of the massacre, you can tell he’s lying seeing his body language and his tone. Even Ketaki Chester( King Birendra’s cousin) said that Rajiv had run away from the window so how can he even state such lies in front of the whole world?Dipendra was wearing the national costume when he was taken to the hospital, so it was not true that he had worn a combat dress. Films were removed from 'automatic movie cameras’ at the scene of the massacre and destroyed. This is all written in the book ‘Kahalilagdo Raat’. Late Princess Prekshya Shah who was a survivor of the massacre, decided to open all the secrets of the massacre, but unfortunately, she died in a helicopter accident. But few people like Krishna Abiral believe that was conspired by the murderers. I hope everyone reading this now understands that it was not Crown Prince Dipendra who prepared this tragic massacre. I’d also like to say that, People if we do not speak about the massacre now, if we do not demand justice for our late royal family then they’d never be able to get freedom from this world. We’ve cried for them but it’s not enough, let’s all speak up again even after 20 decades, our respect for the royals is still alive!!!

This June it will be exactly 10 years since I started battling weight loss. It's also 10 years since I gave myself an eating disorder.
Trigger warning: during that time I barely ate anything and did not lose any weight. Just gave myself hypoglycemic episodes. When starvation didn't work, i turned to purging. Almost 9 months of purging and not a single pound shed. So, I gave that up because i hate vomiting even when i have a flu and it wasn't doing anything, except incease my dental bills.
In the past 10 years I've tried literally everything. From intuitive eating, counting calories, counting Macros, various types of exercise regimes. I was even on metformin for a year and a half. It was literal hell and I ended up gaining weight. I've also tried keto but my body can't handle it. The fatty food triggers GERD and bloating. There was a period when I cut out all sugar and processed carbs for about a year (spoiler: I ended up gaining weight). Not only did I feel like I was going to pass out all the time but I ended up gaining weight.
So...I give up!
Not saying I will start binge eating or lay on the couch everyday. I actually love exercise and getting my body moving. Unfortunately it does nothing. Okay, not nothing. I've been going on daily walks for a year and a half and somehow it regulated my period. But I did not end up losing any weight, even after I started incorporating pilates and light free weights.
I wasted the last 10 years (from 14 to 24) trying to lose weight any way possible. For the most part it was hell. Not just the starving my body or the different diets but the mental toll it had on me. I remember thinking how much of a pig do I have to be if even bulimia doesn't make me lose weight. I don't want to spend the next ten years, he way I've spent the last.
I've tried. I gave it my best. I'm already used to being fat and people treating me like a second class citizen. I just want to live life where I don't turn down foods on holidays or family get together. And you know, not hate my body.

For those who saw my post a couple of days back, i gave a good reason why i thought AP people seek out emotionally unavailable people becuase we are greedy to be loved. But there is another major reason why AP people find themselves with avoidant, this time its to do with fear. This one much more important then the first.
Reading about the emotional derivation schema(which is the schema therapy equilivant of being AP), there was one thing that really stood out to me in the book, reinventing your life.

"people with this schema, never find themselves responsible for forming relationships, they only focus on how others let them down"

Reading this reddit thread discussing how other people perceive AP attachments, you can get a idea of exactly how anxious people act. We are overcritical, easily disapoinited, and can tend to put others under a microscope.
Now the Stoics reconsigned, another very powerful emotion we have called agony. And the description of this emotion is very familiar to the behavior in that thread.

anguish (Greek: agōnía meaning “contest, struggle for victory, agony, anguish”). I conjecture that agony is the fear of a failure to pursue a desired object. It is a fear of a failed desire, otherwise called a disappointment. Disappointment is often regarded as a mild dissatisfaction with something not turning out as one had hoped. Frustration is a stronger disappointment, a stronger sense that one’s desire was thwarted. When an apparent wrongdoer is perceived as the cause of one’s failed desire, agony is often overpowered by bitterness (or resentment) toward the apparent wrongdoer.

So Agony is basically the fear of lacking what we desire. There is pain in lacking what we desire. And what did i identify as in the last thread as what every anxious person is seeking? To be loved. That means that the source of our agony, of our disappointment, our frustration with others, is that we are afraid of lacking what we desire. To be loved. Another way of saying is that we are afraid of emotional neglect. I know personally this emotion of agony has seriously affected me. When i don't get my emotional needs met, it feels like agony. It feels like a struggle for survival when i fear lacking what i want(to be loved). I am easily disappointed in others, getting pissed off at someone taking 5 hours to respond, because i perceive this as emotional neglect. Or i am very frustrated and bitter with them in stronger cases, perceiving them to be the cause of my emotional neglect. This lead us to be overly critical, and others feel like we put them under a microscope.
Its the nature of fear to be excessive, and this is why we are so afraid of emotional neglect, this is why we put other peoples actions under a microscope. We are fear of lacking what we desire, to be loved. This fear this results either in disappointment in mild cases, and frustration and resentment in stronger cases.
The result of this fear is catastrophic, because we are afraid of lacking our desire ,to be loved, we are unable to heal ourselves.

• We rely on others to take the lead in forming connections,
• but we simultaneously, criticize them at every very move,
• are easily disappointed in others when they do take the lead,
• are unable to communicate our emotional needs(because if you don't communicate, we are not exposed to danger of not having them met) and so we have high expectations, but never tell others what we expect.
• We are quick to cut others off out of disappointment to because we are afraid of others not meeting our needs.
• But most important of all, when we are exposed to the fear of lacking our desire(to be loved) is when we take the lead. If its bad when someone perusing us takes a couple of hours to respond, imagine how worse it is when we pursue someone else and they take hours to respond. You would feel lacking in (to be loved) far more if your the one trying to create the friendship. We generally never even try.

This results in being disappointed and frustrated with others, very very easily with others because of our agony. So we never do take the lead.
But the consequence of this is quite catastrophic, because we are never able to heal ourselves by forming emotional connections with others, because we reinforce our own anxious tenancies. We are never able to heal because we push those away who try to form connections, and are terrified of taking the lead in forming friendships we crave with others. Especially taking the lead in forming emotional connections, thats when we are afraid the most.
The only way to cure ourselves is to remove ourselves of the opinion that lacking, what we desire(to be loved) is evil. That it is harmful, that it hurts us, that it should be avoided, that it is the cause of a unhappy life.
Its also generally avoidants who are very good in avoiding disappointment, who take the lead in the first stage of dating. Until they have us hooked and we try to get close, then they deprive us once they have us, but at that point we are unable to leave because of our greed to be loved.
TLDR: People who are anxious, rely on others to form emotional connections with us because we ourselves are afraid, but we push them away simultaneously because we are easily disappointed in others and very overly critical, because of our fear of lacking what we desire, to be loved. We also are terrified in taking the lead in forming emotional connections, so we never do.

I (24M) need some serious advice right now. My girlfriend (28F) has a friend (31F) who was in a car accident, and it’s really bad. She was driving drunk and ended up killing a 14-year-old. This isn’t even her first DUI—two years ago, she got into another accident while drunk and injured her 9-year-old son.
Here’s where it gets complicated: my family is deeply rooted in law enforcement. My dad is a police detective, my mom’s a nurse, my grandpa is a police captain, my uncle and his wife are police officers, and my other aunt is a DA. Because of this, I know a lot of high-ranking people within law enforcement.
My girlfriend is now pressuring me to use my connections to help her friend avoid punishment. I understand she’s scared for her friend, but this situation is so serious, and it’s messing with my head. I’m torn between wanting to help because of my girlfriend and feeling that what her friend did is inexcusable and needs to be dealt with legally.
I’ve always believed in doing the right thing, and I don’t want to compromise my morals or my family’s integrity. But I also don’t want to cause a rift with my girlfriend over this. I’m lost on what to do.
