WRITER CHAOS: BY JAYLEN WHITE Naruto busted into the room, excited about today’s adventure. Meanwhile, Your Mom is sleeping on a large bed, because a regular bed can’t fit her large size. “I’M GONNA BE HO-HO-HOKAGE!” Naruto shouts. Then, Micheal Jackson slowly moonwalks to the nearest Glock 18 “ABOUT TO SHHOT YA’S BEFORE YA BECOME WHATEVER YOU JUST SAID!” Micheal Jackson says. “Proceed to shoot me now! Nothing will stop me from becoming big leader man!” Naruto exclaims. Soon, Your Mom gets up, with each step causing the ground to rumble, and then proceeds to groan softly. “Man, that nap was amazing! Got anymore ice cream?” Naruto and Micheal Jackson scream in terror as they see the large abomination, confused on how somehow like Your Mom could be so big. Meanwhile, Mr Beast is hosting yet another challenge… “HEY, FIRST PERSON TO DIE GETS 100 MILLION DOLLARS!” Mr Beast quickly says. Soon, the people attending quickly try to commit suicide, but Mr Beast gets hit by a nuclear missile before that can even happen. Mr Beast smiles, as half of his body is literary torn apart, “Man, well the challenge still continues!” Your Mom is walking towards the duo, preparing to chunk them out of existence. “I don’t like heavy stares…” Your Mom deeply says. Naruto and Micheal Jackson look at each other in shock, before proceeding to run away from the big fat momma. Your Mom is too heavy to run, so she must slowly walk towards the group. The people attending Mr Beast’s challenge have all died! Leaving good ol Jimmy Donaldson. “Oi gee walikers! I sure had fun killing and forcing these people to die!” A dying body groans in the distance, wondering why he hasn’t received money… “H-H-Hey… I died first… WHY!?!” The person screams, as he slowly bleeds out to the beating he received earlier, from the other attendants. Mr Beast stand up, and somehow, his torn-up body is healed instantly. He then checks his watch, and looks up at the sky… “Looks like they finally arrived.” Jimmy says, before teleporting to another location. Soon, Your Mom finally arrived to where Naruto and Micheal Jackson hid. “What are you doing kid?” Batman abruptly says, before firing at Your Mom with a minigun. Your Mom, however, is unfazed. “I don’t like people who shoot me with large weapons.” Your Mom slowly walks towards Batman, and Batman screams in terror, and doesn’t even try to run...
Batman is slowly killed by Your Mom’s large strength. Naruto peaks from the hiding spot, very frightened by the creature. Suddenly, Naruto feels a surge of energy run through him, he feels like he could take on Your Mom… Naruto’s eyes turn a lil bit frog-like, like, those, fox eyes? Yeah those. He then launches Your Mom all the way through the ground, causing a bit of blood to appear on her tough exterior. Your Mom responds by slowly walking towards Naruto, but Naruto swiftly breaks her arm before she can continue moving. “AHHHHH.” Your Mom’s arm starts spurting blood, before she slowly falls to the ground, and dies slowly… Naruto relieves his form, before twerking on Your Mom to literal insanity. Micheal Jackson pulls out his Glock, before shooting Naruto straight in the head, killing him. “Finally got rid of that Nuisance.” Chapter 2: Mr Beast vs Micheal Jackson. After the quick death of Naruto, Mr Beast teleports in front of Micheal Jackson. “Hey bro,” Mr Beast looks at the dead body, “You sure were busy…” Micheal Jackson looks at Mr Beast in confusion, and shoots Mr Beast, with no retaliation. The bullet bounces off Mr Beast, and lands directly inside Micheal Jackson’s heart. A bystander walks by, and slowly turns his pupils at the dead body, and the injured Micheal Jackson. “DON’T KILL ME! PLEASE?” Mr Beast walks towards the bystander, and Micheal Jackson slowly raises his gum at Mr Beast’s head. “W-WATCH OUT!” The Bystander screamed. It was too late, and Mr Beast was shot, and the bullet bounced off again! Micheal Jackson was killed almost instantly.
2 days later… “Hrm… This substitute is quite fine… Il sees what I can do.” MS slowly says, as he injects Micheal Jackson’s dead body with strength serum. Soon, Micheal Jackson breathes again, and his wounds heal almost instantly, and his muscles bulge like John Cena’s. “I WILL KILL HIM!” Micheal Jackson says as he wakes up from his almost-eternal slumber.
Mini Story: Big Chungus and Rival Nomento Big Chungus was casually binging on human meat, when his rival, Big Bunny Nomento eats a large amount, much more than him. “Hey! I bet you stole that food, dummy!” Chungus says. Nomento looks at the bunny with anger, before launching him across the stratosphere. Big Chungus responds by diving straight into Nomento, but he luckily blocks before Chungus can kill him. “I’M ABOUT TO TURN YOU INTO A FOSSILIZED CREATURE!” Chungus says, before preparing for battle. Micheal Jackson arrives at the place where Mr Beast was, where he was now editing his latest video. “Oh, you came back?” Mr Beast says in confusion, before Micheal Jackson brutally smashes him on the wall, where Mr Beast bounces off it like butter. “You can’t kill me, so stop trying!” Mr Beast says. Micheal Jackson roars in anger, before kicking Mr Beast into outer space, where he casually sips a smoothie. Mr Beast falls back onto earth, where his body catches fire due to the high speeds. Where he destroys the entire area where Micheal Jackson was, but he too in unscathed. Mr Beast sighs, refusing to attack Micheal Jackson. “HEY, IL KILL YOU!!!” Micheal Jackson says, before smashing Mr Beast repeatedly, trying to kill him. “Why won’t you just die…” Micheal Jackson says, with tears in his eyes. Mr Beast finally proceeds to inflict damage on Micheal Jackson, by using his singular finger, to send Micheal Jackson flying into the halls, causing his bones to break, and his body to bleed. “I’m sorry, but you can’t seem to stop, so I had to kill you. Goodbye friend.” Micheal Jackson looks at Mr Beast with anger, before slowly dying in his grasp. MS appears at the scene, clapping with joy. “You killed my genetically enhanced being. Impressive.” He pulls a case of syringes, before finally selecting one. “Micheal Jackson will be back…” Chapter 3: Too much sugar? Naruto’s dead body lingered in the room, but that same menacing energy filled the area. “LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Naruto awakens, preparing his next strike! “W-What? Why am I here?” Naruto looks around, before walking out of the area he was in. Before landing on Micheal Jackson’s dead body. Meanwhile, MS is preparing to make a clone of Naruto, who he still believes is dead, as he finishes, he gets a response. “Will kill target. Will get big leader man cape.” Evil Naruto has entered the scene! Naruto screams, thinking that Micheal Jackson was brutally murdered. “WHY, WHO? HOW!” He looks at Micheal Jackson’s big muscles, and realizes that he doesn’t look like he’s decomposing, at all. He sees a fluid leaking out of him, and he proceeds to drink it. His body instantly changes, and he feels like he could destroy anything. He’d gained the powers that Micheal Jackson once had. Suddenly, Naruto hears a rumbling sound in a pile of metal, and C-12 appears, a large robot that attacks anything it sees. C-12 proceeds to launch Missiles at Naruto, which he somehow easily destroys with his bare hands, before proceeding to rip C-12 limb from limb, only leaving the head. He then swiftly runs away, and leaps onto the nearest building with surprising ease. “Man. That was quick. Didn’t know I could do that!” Evil Naruto is sent out to retrieve Micheal Jackson’s body, and on the way, he notices Regular Naruto, looking very similar to him. “YOU THERE, STATE YOR INTENTIONS” E Naruto says. R Naruto looks at E Naruto with surprise, thinking that is it another robot. He then proceeds to rush towards E Naruto, who easily dodges all the attacks. E Naruto swiftly back chops Naruto in the neck, before bagging him up, and heading back to MS. He walks past the area, destroying every building in sight, and every human in sight as well. He then arrives at the base, where MS works on creating a serum for Micheal Jackson. “MS… That boy didn’t die, I found him.” He opens the bag, revealing an unconscious R Naruto, in which he slowly slumps on the floor, before waking up In shock. “AWAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY AM I HERE, WHO’S THAT KID WHO BEAT ME UP?!” R Naruto exclaims, while making rapid movements due to surprise. MS slowly walks towards R Naruto, before chaining him up swiftly, and grabbing a white syringe. And Injecting Naruto with it. R Naruto began to twitch and flicker, before closing his eyes, once a nice blue shine, now turned into evil red eyes. Evil Naruto looks around, looking at the chained up Regular Naruto, now infected. Mini Story: Big Chungus and Rival Nomento P2. Nomento releases a flurry of strikes against Big Chungus, ferociously beating him up, but Big Chungus responds by absorbing the attacks, and launching himself directly at Noemnto, crushing him, and allowing Big Chungus to bleed out. He was now victorious.
Chapter 4: Infected VS Defected Infected Naruto went back to the location he was beaten, and then searched for Micheal Jackson. When he finally arrived, he didn’t see Micheal Jackson, but instead a note, saying “I LIKE MEN.” Soon after he read the note, he was knocked unconscious. “Hey, what should we do?” DanTDM said. Micheal swiftly chained up Infected Naruto, and signaled Dan to hand him a syringe. “I bet MS did this…” Micheal said. Dan handed Micheal a syringe, and Micheal Slowly tried to take out what Naruto was infected with, but before he could finish, the entire area was destroyed! “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, YOU TRIED LMAO.” Evil Naruto said, before swiftly stabbing DanTDM, and bagging them up. “I can kill you easily!” Micheal Jackson exclaimed, before charging at Evil Naruto. Evil Naruto easily grabbed Micheal’s leg and threw him across the room. “How!” Micheal said. “Well, I’m just better than you.” Evil Naruto said. Infected Naruto soon woke up, looking at the aftermath, yet he does not speak, and swiftly slashes the chains with his bare hands. “Great job my little Naruto!” Evil Naruto said, before leaving the area, along with Infected Naruto. “Huff, Puff…” Micheal Jackson said, before moving away the rubble, and swiftly looking at the syringe. It had parts of the serum, so, if he injected himself with it, he would be stronger. Meanwhile, Mr Beast is finished editing his video. Before he can click on export, his entire room is destroyed! By… C-12? That same robot killed by Naruto! C-12 swiftly tries to kill Mr Beast, but he easily breaks apart one of his repaired arms, causing C-12 to retreat, but we now know he’s still alive… Mr Beast is annoyed that his house was destroyed, and he decided to go outside instead. Meanwhile, Infected Naruto is demolishing cities, while polka dancing rapidly. Evil Naruto is watching by the sidelines, looking for any of Micheal’s friends. Micheal Jackson injected himself with the syringe and is now rushing towards Evil Naruto “YOU DIE NOW!” As soon as he gets there, Micheal Jackson punches Evil Naruto in the face, launching him across the destroyed buildings. Evil Naruto begins to bleed out, huffing and puffing like Bill Mercury. Infected Naruto is still destroying the buildings, and he has not noticed the assault. Micheal Jackson continues by destroying and battering Evil Naruto’s face, who is now fully dead. Mr Beast walks by the assault and looks at Micheal Jackson with surprise. “You’re still killing people?” Mr Beast says, while casually walking away. Micheal Jackson was now targeting Infected Naruto, but he had left after Evil Naruto was brutally killed. So, he decided to head back to MS, where he was originally given the power to stand up to Mr Beast. MS soon found the news, from the brain chip imbedded in Evil Naruto. MS, angered, decided to inject himself with the GOD Syringe, one that would make him extremely powerful… Enough power to destroy the universe, and to destroy those who oppose him.
MS’s muscles bulge, and he turns into a cosmic being, well, looks like one, and he is now ready to strike. Divine MS has entered the scene!
Chapter 5: Micheal Jackson, and Big Chungus Days after the events of chapter 4 happened, Micheal Jackson decided to go to the hospital, to support the people that were injured due to Evil Naruto’s antics. While walking towards the white walls, he notices a extremely large rabbit., who is eating several chicken tenders. “Hello? Are you seriously eating while injured?” Micheal said. The large rabbit looked at Micheal, before introducing himself. “I’m Big Chungus. I’m fine, so don’t worry about me. These dumb humans think I’m hurt!” Big Chungus rolls over, revealing a hole in his chest, that was caused due to the battle he had with Nomento. “You have a hole in your chest, and you’re able to digest food???” Micheal said in confusion. “Yeah, it’s just how bunnies work.” Chungus said, before standing up and walking out of the room. Micheal Jackson ignored the encounter, and prepared to leave the hospital as well… Micheal Jackson saw Big Chungus, ripping apart a human, and eating it. Micheal Jackson immediately prepared to fight Chungus, but it was a totally different bunny. “Hey, I’m Nomento,” Nomento easily went behind Micheal, as if moving at the speed of light. “Die” Suddenly, Nomento easily knocked Micheal across the room, but it didn’t faze Micheal. “Hey, that hurt! Come on, fight like a… What are you exactly?” Micheal Jackson rushed towards Nomento, before smashing his face into the ground, and throwing him across the city. Micheal Jackson leaped towards Nomento, and side chopped him straight into the ground. But Nomento was unfazed. “You are weak. I will kill you.” Nomento walked towards Micheal, who was in shock. Nomento clutched Micheal’s neck and began choking him rapidly. Micheal tried to resist, but it was futile. Suddenly, an even larger bunny arrived, it was Big Chungus! He swiftly impaled Nomento with his bare hands, and threw him into the outer space, before leaping all the way up to him, delivering multiple punches to every part of the chest.
Micheal Jackson watched in awe as Big Chungus easily defeated Nomento, the one who beat Micheal up with ease. Micheal Jackson rushed towards the fallen Nomento, before looking at Big Chungus. “How’d you do that?” Micheal said. “I’m just very strong!” Chungus responded. Meanwhile… Infected Naruto was at MS’s laboratory. “Hm… Good job my little experiment. Time to put you to sleep…” MS said, before walking towards his vat of Naruto clones, preparing to wreak havoc on the cites, and the entire world… One by one, the Naruto clones went out of their respective vats, before grabbing a bag, and a few weapons, and leaving the lab. Micheal Jackson was having a nice time, at their nearest McDonalds, with Bog Chungs eating 3 Big Macs, and Micheal Jackson trying to bend a wall with a French fry. “I can’t begin to imagine how you got that strong.” Micheal Jackson said, while accidently breaking the French fry he tried to use. Big Chungus had a lot of training done to get as strong as he is now…
Chapter 6: THE ONE. Big Chungus was a normal bunny, who did normal bunny things, like stick carrots up his anus. Big Chungus was just Regular Chungus, and his rival, Nomento, was also a normal bunny, who was just a few ounces bigger than him. Nometo left the fields that Big Chungus laid, to search for more carrots to stick up Chungs’s anus. Chungus was starving, since there were no more carrots to stick his anus in. So, he resorted to EATING HUMANS. One after another, he ate humans, buckets of them. He got bigger and bigger, and gained the nickname, Big Chungus. Once Nomento came back with carrots, it was revealed that he was the reason that the fields ran out of carrots, angering Big Chungus, and causing him to destroy half of the Earth… Nomento was surprised, and tried to fight back, but was led to the original Earth of 252, where his counterpart was rivaling Big Chungus, and where the Earth wasn’t cut in half. (This means there are 2 Big Chunguss and 2 Nomentos) The Nomento of Earth 252 wasn’t that nice, and loved to kill random humans, not for food, but for fun. Big Chungus was the same as Earth 234 (The Earth Big Chungus destroyed half of) Big Chungus just didn’t destroy half the earth this time. That raises the question, which Big Chungus is Micheal Jackson talking to? Meanwhile…. Someone else is…. Questionably destroying the Sears Tower… DA HE-SC-SPY GROUP! The group swiftly polka danced their way to the tower, before bombing it with several grade-3 tanks. “DESTROY DA BUILDING NOW!” Heavy said, before launching several nuclear missiles at the tower, and then proceeding to kill everyone near the tower using his mini gun. Meanwhile, Scout is running up the walls, placing down multiple bombs, shaped like chocolate bunnies. “Time to explode the… Can’t think of a good pun.” Scout said, before releasing the bombs, exploding half of the Sears Tower, and causing the tower to come falling. Spy is disguising himself as a coworker for the company, swiftly killing every worker internally via his kunai from space. BOOM! The sound of Divine MS busting into the room frightens everyone… The aura that Divine MS gives off, it’s like a thousand big macs, but scarier and tastier. Divine MS easily picks up the falling tower and launches it into space at the speed of light, leaving Spy to scream in terror as he tries to escape the tower, and he is barely able to jump out safely onto ground. “I have created a clone of me, to work… WHILE I’M DESTROYING THIS PLANET.” Divine MS says, before swiftly picking up a piece of the ground, and throwing it at Heavy, the big guy of the DHS group. Heavy responds by destroying the rubble with his mini gun, but the rubble is too strong, and Heavy his incapacitated by the rubble, and Scout rushes towards him, trying to free him by using his ultra-fast legs. Divine MS easily arrives behind Scout, at near light speed, before kicking Scout across the entire Earth, causing him to fall unconscious almost instantly, and leaving Heavy to stare at the chaos that unfolds… But, Mr Beast slowly arrives, staring at the chaos, unfazed by the events. “So, you’ve created a super powerful version of yourself?” Mr Beast easily side chops Divine MS, before he can even react. Divine MS was knocked out by Mr Beast…. “Such weaklings… Well, cya later humanity!” In the blink of an eye, Mr Beast teleports away, going back to… Who knows where? Chapter 7: The No AU Group Micheal Jackson was unaware of the events that happened, so was Big Chungus. Da He-Sc-Spy group was luckily able to live to see another day but decided to take a break for a while. Heavy, the tank man of the group, decided to continue doing missions, as he was the only one who wasn’t knocked out by Divine MS. “Ok, that’s it!” Scout said to Spy, “He’s left again to do another DANGEROUS mission! I don’t want our human shield to die!” Spy was too battered up to say anything, and just nodded in agreement, while slowly preparing to grab a cup of milk. Meanwhile… Multiple Naruto’s roamed the streets, and it was unclear who the real Naruto was… All the Naruto’s prepared to destroy every building, and started killing civilians, good, and bad. And Micheal Jackson swiftly left the restaurant to deal with the situation. “I’m not letting Big Chungus take all the fame!” Micheal said, before preparing to destroy the entire batch of Naruto’s. But…. Half of the infected Naruto’s rushed after Micheal, battering him up and ripping him apart, as he watched the other Naruto’s slowly destroy the city. Out of nowhere, the Naruto’s heads were popped off, by what seems to be Mr Beast… “You again!” Micheal Jackson said. “I don’t know you… I don’t know anyone from here…” Mr Beast says, unaware of Michal Jackson. “But we fought! You killed me!” Micheal Jackson said, “No, this is my first time on this earth, Who are you?” Mr Beast replied. Micheal Jackson was shocked, how did Mr Beast not know the person he killed just days ago? “Wait, I don’t have an Earth, nor a universe. I just save planets from power hungry things. I bet you have a ‘Me’ in this dimension, right?” Micheal Jackson swiftly backed away, assuming that Mr Beast was capable of interdimensional travel. “That guy, is a maniac.” Micheal Jackson whispered, before running away from the dead cloned Naruto’s. “Wait, don’t go! I didn’t mean to scare you!” Mr Beast said, before swiftly chasing after Micheal Jackson. “I have a group of friends, who also don’t have a universe. I call it the No AU group. You should contribute to it.” Mr Beast stated, before swiftly arriving in front of Micheal Jackson out of nowhere. “No…. You’re an idiot for thinking I’d join a group with similar people like you!” Micheal Jackson replied, and soon after, Micheal Jackson attempted to attack Mr Beast with his massive muscles. “DIE!!!!” Mr Beast was easily able to dodge the attack, and counter with a swift blow to the stomach, causing Micheal Jackson to hold up in agony. “We used to have universes, but they were destroyed by the hands of another Mr Beast. We call him Evil Mr Beast, cause what he did was, well, evil.” Mr Beast stated, before reaching out to help Micheal Jackson. “Well, I guess every Mr Beast is insanely strong…” Micheal Jackson said quietly. Suddenly, a group of different Mr Beast’s arrived at the scene and began to look at each other casually. Every Mr Beast began talking, before walking over to the Mr Beast interacting with Micheal Jackson. “This is the No AU group, the one I just told you about. We have to go, but we’ll meet again soon, probably.” Mr Beast walks towards his group, before teleporting off somewhere, just like Mr Beast… “I wonder if there are groups of me?” Micheal Jackson pondered… Heavy was on another mission and was swiftly taking care of everything in his sight. No attack affected him, and he was easily able to complete missions even while injured. Seems like a horror movie to me. Chapter 8: Turn for the… LURK. The real infected Naruto lie in MS’s lab, who was currently working on a big project, while Infected Naruto was leading the next batch of his clones, not being able to control his body at all. “I wish I could end this…. But I’ve just given up at this point.” Naruto thought, while mindlessly leading the batch of clones. Heavy was on a mission, to take care of a… Peculiar assignment, which involved killing multiple enemies that looked the same, possibly clones of Naruto. “DON’T DO IT! DON’T GO ON ANOTHER MISSION!” Scout signaled. Heavy still went though, like a giga chad or smth. The batch of Naruto’s destroyed the city thus more, killing every person in sight, and destroying every building possible. Then… DanTDM arrives at the scene. “You thought I WAS DEAD?” DanTDM said, before revealing his mechanical body. “Sadly, that dumb MS thought I was going to obey him, and he gave me this cool mechanical body too! Now, mate, Il kill all of you, and save this city!” DanTDM swiftly launched several missiles at the Naruto’s, causing most of them to die. DanTDM then extended his mechanical arms and grabbed up a batch of Naruto’s, before destroying them by sending them flying in the air. This left about 24 Naruto’s left, who quickly fled the scene in fear of being killed. Who knew CLONES were sentient. Quickly after, Heavy arrived at the scene, surprised to see that the situation was already resolved. “Did you seriously steal my kills?” Heavy said, before frowning sadly. “It’s the city we’re talking about! Why would I hesitate to kill clones?” DanTDM said, before swiftly leaving the area using his mechanical arms to grapple his way out. Meanwhile, the clones are still running, swiftly hiding in halls, and climbing up buildings, before arriving at the destroyed lab DanTDM was previously. “So, clones, we have to hurry up and increase our usage of tech, so we can kill that dumb British robot guy.” A clone said, before grabbing a chunk of metal and grinding it down using another chunk of metal. The clones agreed, and prepared to clean up the lab, and use piles of wood they found to rebuild the lab, thus creating the DanTDM lab 2.0. The clones began working and made a set of weapons that can easily cut through DanTDM’s robot material, allowing for a quick and easy kill. “Hey, I found a syringe on the floor!” One of the clones said, before picking up the syringe and throwing it at another clone. “We can use this...” The clones began to use the metal and wood to create a liquid substance that hardens the skin for a short period of time. “If we produce this in mass, we be hardening the world with this, bruv.” A clone said, before injecting himself with the syringe, causing his skin to feel hard and heavy. One of the clones tried to punch the hardened clone, causing their hands to break. “I guess it works….” The clone said, before rubbing his arm slowly. Day after day, the Naruto clones made even more inventions, and decided to hide their identity by using human suits and planned on stealing from MS to get even more supplies. “That dumb MS doesn’t even pay us!” A clone said, “Well, we are clones…” Another clone said. “Why is he even called MS? Is that a nickname?” The clones made a plan… And they were gonna follow it.
Chapter 9: The reality breakers. Micheal Jackson was in distress, after meeting multiple Mr Beast versions, and now contemplating if they are even from this earth. “Seems like you’re questioning reality.” A mysterious figure said, slowly walking towards Micheal Jackson. “Trust me, I’ve been through worse, MUCH WORSE.” Micheal Jackson swiftly went into a battle stance, preparing to fight. “Hey, hey! I’m not dangerous, unlike the various other people you’ve met…” The figure said, before somehow appear in front of Micheal Jackson in what seems like the speed of light. “I’m Deez Nuts. Apart of the reality breakers, don’t know why we’re called that though…. Just call me Din.” Din slowly rubs his back, before placing his hands on Micheal Jacksons shoulder. “So, first I meet an invincible being, and now I meet you?” Micheal Jackson says in fear, before slowly backing up. “I won’t hurt you bruv, believe me. I know everything, so don’t even try to hide it. I’m powerful than that Mr Beast guy, I don’t even need to teleport, I can just move so fast, that I arrive their instantly.” Din says, before somehow arriving behind Micheal Jackson, FASTER THAN LIGHT? “When someone questions reality, that’s when we come in. We’re there because you no longer believe we’re NOT there.” Din says. Micheal Jackson looks up, then down, and then back at Din. “I just want to eat a taco man.” Micheal Jackson says. “Ok, I need to give you some info. So, the readers can understand a bit of things.” Din says, “What readers?” Micheal Jackson replies. “Just listen bruv. Clones of Naruto are planning on killing MS, but they’re gonna get absolutely flawlessed. Not like you need to know *wink*. The leader of the clone group is Naruto Prime, and Infected Naruto is the regular Naruto that you originally wanted to kill. Divine MS would be the original MS, any other MS you see that isn’t strong is just a clone. Just know… Il be here whenever you have questions!” Micheal Jackson was more confused than an acorn that had been injected with several ounces of cocaine. Due to this, Micheal Jackson fell unconscious, and Din walked away, waving in the distance. (Hey, Din here. This is how il talk to you. The story is all jumbled about, and I’m the only serious character you’ll see for a while! So, when you see parentheses, just know it’s me! I’m here to make sure no one makes assumptions about the story.) The clones went about, carefully splitting up to gain more intel on humans, and to hopefully kill MS. Naruto Prime, (The leader.), was swiftly able to store most of the hardening serum, and able to give it to most of the other Naruto clones. Naruto Prime oversaw when the serums would be used. “Hey bruv, go ahead and MOVE OUT!” Naruto Prime said to the group with it, and the group complied. The clones went to MS’s lab, which was luckily close by, hidden by a flock of birds, that Naruto Prime took care of with the hardening serum. The clones dispatched, and went to the clone vat, revealing Infected Naruto, the person in charge of dispatching the clones. “YOU!!!!” Naruto Prime yelped, before swiftly attacking the vats of clones, and ordering the other clones to fight Infected Naruto. “Die.” Infected Naruto said, before easily knocking out half of the clones, leaving only a few left. (The clones aren’t dead.). Naruto Prime was able to run away, and bring the clones with him before Infected Naruto could do anything, but their plan had failed, and they didn’t even reach MS…
Chapter 10: The Finale? (2 pages longer lol) Everyone conflicts with one another. Micheal Jackson needs to defeat Naruto, the clones of Naruto are fighting against Naruto and MS, and Big Chungus needs to fight Nomento. One question remains, who will win? “Heh looks like this battered up robot is still here. How about I fix you up.” Micheal Jackson says, picking up C-12’s body, and walking towards the area where he builds stiff. Micheal Jackson adds missile launchers onto C-12, and sharp and heavy armor to keep him defended, he also adds a self-destruction button, so he can have a final comeback. “I’m gonna kill Naruto, and MS too. Il makes sure it ends with a big explosion that you see on TV.” As the robot wires up, it begins to beep in unheard ways, and Micheal Jackson hears a big BOOM outside the workshop… “WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS?” Mr Beast yelps, looking at another Mr Breast, who seems to wear a pirate eye patch, along with a black suit, and looks, well, evil. Micheal Jackson goes outside, and sees the Evil Mr Beast, destroying everything with ease, and being able to harm Regular Mr Beast. It seems Evil Mr Beast is something. Meanwhile, the clones hatch another plan, they were the creators of C-12, and used that robot to originally capture Nartuo. The clones had planned on creating another prototype, C-15. Yep, they tried to do these 2 more times, and had finally created a better robot. It came with the best AI the world could offer too! “Ok, the robot is ready to launch!” A nerdy Naruto said, before typing things on the terminal that controlled the robot. “Do it, launch the robot!” Naruto Prime said, before swiftly ordering the other clones to guard the robot as it booted up. “C-15 at your service.” The robot said, causing the entire room to be filled with screams of happiness, the robot had finally worked. Micheal Jackson had no choice but to grab the modified version of C-12, which he nicknamed, Scrapy, mainly because the robot seems to always get destroyed. Micheal Jackson had also improved the AI, so Scrappy should be smarter now, right? Micheal Jackson hears the commotion between Regular Mr Beast and Evil Mr Beast. Based off what he heard from the No AU group, Evil Mr Beast is going to destroy his universe… The No AU group rushes past Micheal Jackson, with no time to talk, and they proceed to join the fight against Evil Mr Beast, while Micheal Jackson runs away in fear. If Micheal Jackson was able to kill Naruto’s evil counterpart, couldn’t he kill Mr Beasts? No, its too dangerous, Micheal Jackson wouldn’t want to die, after he just made a super powerful robot. “Hey ol mate, why you running from the danger? I CRAVE DANGER.” Scrappy had woken up, and swiftly used his rocket powered legs to boost up towards the No AU group, forcing Micheal Jackson to run towards Scrappy, since he didn’t want to have his precious baby destroyed lol. “So, you want to join the war efforts?” Mr Beast said, the one that’s the leader of the NAU group. “Fine, Il do it, just because my dumb robot has a death wish.” Micheal Jackson sighed, before swiftly throwing large chunks of rock at Evil Mr Beast, barely dodging his attacks, and barely able to keep up with his insane speed, that faster than Din (That’s me :D) Evil Mr Beast really is something else, but out of nowhere, Big Chungus arrives at the scene, preparing to launch his large body at Evil Mr Beast. “Take that ya dumb knock-off!” Big Chungus screams. Despite not making a dent in Evil Mr Beast, he did gain confidence from that quick encounter. “Hey, you’re here too!” Micheal Jackson says, “Yep, I had enough time to check on you, and look what I found….” Big Chungus looks at the No AU group, and the maniac robot trying to fight Evil Mr Beast head on. Big Chungus then looks at Micheal Jackson, his friend, and the one who taught him that eating humans is well, bad. Infected Naruto walks towards another vat of clones, preparing to strike, but suddenly, he hears a knock on the door. The door BLASTS open, and a large robot, named C-15 arrives, attack Infected Naruto while sustaining little to no damage. Naruto Prime and the other clones watch in the background as Infected Naruto is slowly being defeated. Infected Naruto is finally killed, or it looks to be that way. The serum that lingered in Infected Naruto was now gone, and he was able to think freely again. “W-What. WAIT, WHY AM I BEING ATTACKED?” Naruto said, before getting into a battle stance. “Wait, you’re telling me you’re not going to attack us?” Naruto Prime said, “WELL YOU ATTACKED ME!” Naruto said, before running away from the robot, and Naruto Prime, and out the lab. “Phew, got away from those weird people, who look like me for some reason.” Naruto thought, before seeing a very large hole in the ground, caused by Evil Mr Beast. “Nope.” Naruto turns back, and leaves the area, too scared to be killed, and experimented on, for the third time. Meanwhile, the clones advance to the first floor, where MS lie. Evil Mr Beast begins to fly up in the air, and make a literal black hole, which absorbs everything around it. “I do not understand. Just give up already!” Evil Mr Beast says, throwing the black hole at Original Mr Beast, killing him almost instantly. It almost kills the leader of the NAU group too. Scrappy is somehow still standing, and still wants to fight Evil Mr beast, despite what happened. TripTraps Guide to the Multiverse. I’m TripTrap, certified hunter of the Multiverse, and how about I introduce you to the encounters you just witnessed. You firstly saw a very powerful character, and you saw another powerful character die as well (Why are you here?) Shut u- I mean, of course I must be here, a very important character died! Well, it was more of which the fact that he was alive since chapter 1…. Never mind that, now that Mr Beast has died, I can finally prepare… THE TOKEN OF REVIVAL! That means, if Mr Beast is revived (For whatever reason -_-) Then Il be here to announce when this token was used! TripTrap, the reality breaker of announcement, signing off! (Can we get to the story already?) Half of the NAU group rush towards Evil Mr Beast, and for all their efforts, a bit of damage was done of Evil Mr Beast, just a little tiny scar on the face, its microscopically big. It’s still damage though! Big Chungus decides to run away, who wants to face a black hole? The clones head towards MS and use the robot to beat him up with ease, as he’s not in divine form at all. “W-What? How?” MS says in fear, before getting brutally mashed open, mangled, and then thrown out by C-15. “That’s how you kill an evil scientist!” Naruto Prime says, before heading back out the lab, and towards the clones. “Hey! We did it, I killed MS!” Suddenly, Divine MS appears behind Naruto Prime… “Oh, did you now? Good job for defeating my clone.” Divine MS easily decapitates Naruto Prime with just a flick of the finger, and he menacingly walks towards the clones. (Are you serious? Wait, it seems Naruto Prime wasn’t too important of a character, meh.) Chapter 11: Chicken Bobby. The NAU group are still fighting Evil Mr Beast, and Micheal Jackson and Scrappy have already left, due to unknown reasons. The leader of the NAU group, named Mr Beast Prime, orders the other Mr Beast’s to retreat, as Mr Beast Prime will fight off Evil Mr Beast by himself. “Are you seriously facing me? After I killed the other Mr Beast?” Evil Mr Beast responds, before swiftly punching Mr Beast Prime across the room, “Never Fear, Chicken Bobby is here!” Suddenly, a humanoid chicken punches out Evil Mr Besst, and despite doing no damage, it doesn’t seem like he is doing any damage either. “A chicken? Seriously?” Evil Mr Beast tries to attack Chicken Bobby, but nothing happens to him, not even a scratch. Mr Beast Prime swiftly grabs Chicken Bobby, and holds him at a, well, “Chicken Shield?”, before swiftly attacking Evil Mr Beast using Chicken Bobby’s very hard skin, or, well, tenderness…. “I don’t mind, use me as a weapon!” Chicken Bobby says, before going into an even harder state, allowing Mr Beast Prime to somewhat damage Evil Mr Beast. “AHHHHH! LEAVE ME ALONE!” Evil Mr Beast flies away, throwing another large black hole, directly at Earth. Chicken Bobby begins to stretch out and widen, turning into a large shield, and blocking the earth from the black hole, somehow surviving it. Mr Beast Prime is shocked, and runs away, thinking about what that being could possibly be. It may not be able to do that much damage, but it sure is durable! Evil Mr Beast grins, before running off, to who knows where… Meanwhile, the clones must face Divine MS. “Hey, I don’t want to die!” A clone said, before swiftly running away, but easily being killed by Divine MS, and one by one, the clones are killed…. Expect one clone that is, who managed to hide among the dead body of the clone MS, and is lying there, faking death. (We’ll call him Naruto Prime 2) Divine MS had no comments to make, other than “Weak…”, and Divine MS swiftly went away, jumping at light speeds. “Oh no you don’t!” Mr Beast Prime says, holding his Chicken Bat (Who is Chicken Bobby) high up in the air. “You dare try to stop me?” Divine MS says. But Mr Beast Prime easily knocks out Divine MS with his Chicken Bat, launching him high up in the air instantly. Naruto Prime 2 saw this and rushed towards Mr Beast Prime. “Hey, can I come with you?” Naruto Prime 2 says, before swiftly resting inside Mr Beast Prime’s bag, softly sleeping almost instantaneously. Mr Beast Prime had seen weirder, and therefore went along with it, putting his Chicken Bat in his weapon holster, and grabbing Divine MS’s body. Mr Beast had died, the one who had been prominent for defeating the big and the bad, and now a new Mr Beast enters the scene, Mr Beast Prime, and his fights against Evil Mr Beast. The Arc between Micheal Jackson and Naruto, have officially ended… Well, time to add some filler! “So, I’m Chicken Bobby, and I was brought here to make random dialogue to end this chapter quickly, so, Il tell you more about me. I can shapeshift into anything, and I am the hardest object in the multiverse, or so I’m told… I also, well, ok, I can’t think on anything else to say. Ok, let’s end this this chapter NOW!”
an idea for an entirely new ghost! A blind one! Introducing the "Sonarct" ghost! Description: It’s found in the depths of ancient, lightless cave systems hidden deep within the mountains of Eastern Europe. This ghost appears to be blind as a result of adapting to the pitch black enviroment it originates from. Activity: Sonarct is blind. As the name suggests, it uses a form of sonar with the help of its other heightened senses to navigate and interact with the world. It is most active in louder and darker environments and will attempt to turn off any light sources that it feels are disrupting its sonar ability bc of the wavelength or smt ion know Evidences: Fingerprints, Freezing Temperatures and D.O.T.S Projector Strength: It is more active if there is anything loud in a dark area such as an electronic or player. It can detect you during a hunt if you’re moving or making noise/speaking. Weakness: It is less active in quiet and well-lit areas and will favor roaming in louder rooms where the players are at or where there’s equipment or furniture making noise. If changing favourite room, it will most likely be one of the darker rooms at the location. Standing completely still, not talking nor using a device would render the player invisible to the ghost. It would still look like its going for you so good luck to anyone who dares to try this under a hunt lol Sonarct initiates hunts at 50% sanity and below, unless there is heavy rain. Then they’ll be able to hunt at 60% sanity due to the loud storm as it’s helping them see the environment better bc of more sound waves bouncin across the location which lets it percieve the environment better. Speeds: It travels at average speeds (1.6m/s) and wont increase when a player is in LOS as its blind, instead, it will increase its speeds to 2.5m/s if a player is moving / making noise. If its chasing you, even standing still wont save you at that point, but having something loud turned on (like a TV) before the hunt, will stop it from spotting you at the start of the hunt (if you were moving or speaking.) this can help you get those extra seconds to hide somewhere. Unique Traits: Echolocation: Sonarct has a very low chance to use this ability where it’ll make clicking noises to detect the whereabouts of a hidden player. This ability is ALMOST a guaranteed death, unless its diverted by the use of smudges or by something else catching the ghosts attention. The use of the ability obviously gives the identity of the ghost straight away so its not that overpowered. Turning an electronic on or throwing an object could potentially draw the ghost’s attention away from you when hunting. This feature also serves as a way to survive the ghost hunt when it has used the echolocation ability. Sonarct thrives in big maps with low light levels and extensive areas of darkness, such as the campsites, prison and the high school. Tell me what you think!
First, for context; I was raised in a household where I would get either physically or mentally beaten if I did something wrong. For example, if I were to talk back to my mother she would mentally hurt me, which is why I have a low ego and constant suicidal thoughts. Now I'm an even worse person who gets mad every time someone comes into my room. My mom believes that I am an asshole and I do too. I also get mad when anyone touches me without permission, causing me to flinch back and make them either worried or upset. I have lashed out at my own mother for touching me multiple times without permission and she tends to insult me when I do so. I do have feelings, I'm not some emotionless person who doesn't care about anyone at all, (Not that people who hide their emotions are all like that) but I like to keep my bad emotions hidden since I used to get bullied for being the crybaby. My bad emotions are saved until I'm at home and reading, that's when I let all my bad emotions out. Nobody cares about how I'm doing (if I'm feeling bad), and I enjoy that lack of attention; which is why I like keeping my emotions hidden. I found a quote that perfectly describes how I am in public: Chin up, Princess, or the crown slips. I'm not sure where it comes from, or who said it, but in my mind I'm always saying to myself Don't show your emotions, or you'll face bullying again. I hate myself for this, but I feel I should get over it. Anyways, enough backstory, I just accidentally hurt my dog because I was mad, but gave her some treats right after because I felt bad. I feel like an asshole because I feel like I mentally hurt everyone around me. I don't deserve anyone who's nice to me because I just put on a mask so I can keep friends. I'm the definition of a faker and I don't get why I'm still alive if I just hurt everyone around me. I take everyone for granted and if they get mad at me my mask just slips off. The only negative emotion I show in public is anger and even when I do show my anger I just get backlash anyways so I always try to apologise either the next day or in the next 2 hours. Sorry to anyone who's actually taking time out of their day to read this, I know it's long. I've been forgotten by my father, who left when I was born; He doesn't even have partial custody and he forgot that I exist, leading him to forget my birthday last year. I'm basically the opposite of a narcissist, (for anyone reading this who doesn't know what a narcissist is: it's someone who has too high of an ego) meaning I hate everything about me, from my mind to my body to my personality to my life. I have thoughts of death every day and I know most people want long happy lives, but I don't. I kind of just feel the want to get on a private jet as the pilot and purposely crash the plane. I do self harm, but not cutting, I'll get into that later. I already have the tools to hurt myself. I sometimes pick at my body while finding everything that people hate about me, even if they don't say it. I honestly am a brat, and my mom is so helpful at cheering me up. Lies. She is awesome at making me feel better about myself. Lies. My dad is always there for me. Lies. My life is absolutely awesome. More lies. I honestly hate everything about me, like I already said. I feel like everyone I love is so happy and has a great life, other than this one friends of mine who is going through the same thing as me. We both seemed to have started getting suicidal thoughts for the same reasons. Our grandparents hate us (In my case grandparent) and they treat us like dog shit as if we're not human. We also started having these thoughts at the beginning of our fourth grade year (In which we were in the same class.) The only two things keeping me alive right now is that I'm a fucking pussy who can't act on her thoughts, and that I have things to research that I wish I had. A recent example was a study of skin cancer. I believe I have a disorder called Body Dysmorphia, meaning I see my body as a very disoriented version of it. People say I'm skinny but when I look in a mirror I see something different. I enjoy starving myself, which is one of the only types of self harm I do; The other type of self harm consists of picking at my skin with any objects that will pinch, basically I would use a crabs claw if I got that desperate to feel pain. Pain brings me joy for some reason. I'm not talented, I'm only skilled. I have nothing special to keep me going and I'm a financial burden on my already struggling mother. Sometimes I just think of killing myself but then I think about why my mom would think. All of her friends either forget about her, abandon her, or die. I can't talk to my mom about anything, because she's not reliable with emotions. What I can rely on her to do is feed my want for my life to end quickly.
2024.05.19 04:31 Visual_Accident1809[Playstation 2] [early 2000's] Obsucure party game/minigame collection that played like warioware; had japanese aesthetic.
Me and my sister used to play this 2 player "party game" (for a lack of better term). It could be played solo, but in two player vs mode, player one and two were represented as red and blue (or vice versa), the screen was split in half left/right side during gameplay. It was a constant flow of minigames that needed to be accomplished before proceeding onto the next one (kind of WarioWare vibes). It gradually increased in difficulty and had a lives and scoring system, so it sort of had arcade-y vibes as well. In two player, the winner was whoever was the last remaining player. The art style was some sort of 2.5D that resembled claymation I think? (Or maybe like wooden dollhouse aesthetic; very hazy memory here). I only vaguely remember two of the minigames. In one of them, both red and blue players were cops/detectives with suits and matching bowler caps that had their player color on them. I want to say their eyes were hidden under the shade of their caps, and they had moustaches large enough to cover their mouths too? (That level of detail is a bit of a reach though). I do not remember what the objective of the minigame was. The other minigame involved the stereotypical colored candy dumplings on a wooden skewer (I think they are called Dango Dumplings? Had to google image search them). I don't exactly remember the objective of this minigame either, but I think it involved either stacking or bouncing the dumplings using the stick. Aside from that, various flashback memories of "spot the difference" type minigames, possibly a target shooting minigame too?
2024.05.19 04:02 Awesome_BronanaWar of the Monsters Advanced Techniques
I remember the first time I played War of the Monsters on the PS2 was when my dad brought home a copy of the game and played with me and my siblings. I grew up watching monster movies and instantly loved this game. It has been 20 years since I have first played this, I decided to write this guide in advanced tricks and techniques that I have developed from my experiences playing this game. I hope you enjoy this read and that It increases your appreciation of this hidden gem. There are many guides online that cover combos, tactics, item placements, boss guides, level guides, cheats, etc. This is not one of those. This will cover more niche and advanced techniques that you can use to enhance your capability in your gameplay. This guide will be written with the assumption that the control scheme is set at control 'B' which you can set in the pause screen during a game. (I think most people have it set at 'A') It shouldn't effect how these techniques function but something to keep in mind. This is a work in progress and I will edit this thread as I come across new info and insights into the game. Glossary: Movement Special Attacks Rage Utility Map Awareness Advanced Combat \\\\MOVEMENT//////// The monsters in the game have varying movement speeds (running, climbing), jump heights, and flying speeds. However even with the slowest monster you can work around the lack of speed with enough practice utilizing the following methods and the environment to your advantage. Little is more scary than a slow monster like Agamo zooming around your foes mwahaha!
The Dashing Mechanic<<<
As listed in the instruction manual, this allows your monster to sprint at the cost of energy by double-tapping and holding the foward button until expended or pressing the ram button.
Launching<<< You can use the ram button to launch yourself off buildings, ramps, and rock formations to get extra height quickly (a mechanic that the mini game 'Big Shot' is soley based around).
This is particularly useful in maps like baytown where theres a lot of verticality in the environment.
Super Fast Flying<<< This ram mechanic is especially useful for flying monsters like Preytor and Raptros. Executing the dash-ram in conjunction with holding 'x' right after ramming while on the edge of a building or flat surface will result in a blisteringly fast flight speed that gives you better movement and height. Preytor is super fast with this method while Raptros has better airtime and control, though the speed difference is minor. Raptros is my prefrence due to the better airtime, control, and Projectile damage. Firing projectiles while flying<<< Raptros and Preytor both have the ability to capitalize on their aerial advantage by firing projectiles mid glide. You can accomplish this by performing the glide holding X and while holding glide tap the □ button to fire. This takes energy though so maintaining altitude is key. the most effecient way to do this is to execute the dash>ram>fly combo to get extra speed, glide up over your opponent and lock-on to them to spin like a vulture firing down on your target. Lock-On Steering<<< You may notice that while dashing, your ability to steer your monster is stiff. This technique will allow you to navigate around all those tight corners on a dime while dashing! This is more tricky to execute because it is depenent on where your opponents are located around you. This is indicated on the HUD as these numbered circles that show the health status of your opponents.
While sprinting using the dash, hold the lock-on button to force your monster to take a tight turn in the direction of the closest target. This is great for adjusting after missing your target. For simply turning tight corners, simply tap the lock-on button instead while the opponents icons are on the side you want to turn. There is a brief charge up before a dash, if you time your lock on just before the dash activates, you can pull up to a sharp 180 degree turn on your opponent if you missed the first dash-ram. There is some wiggle room in the timing to play around with and practice your navigation using this technique.
Building Hopping<<< Every monster has different climbing speeds, some are fast like Kineniclops and Preytor, some are slow such as Agamo and Togera.
Building Hopping is the simple action of jumping while climbing a building. Repeating this cycle of (jump+grab+jump+grab+jump) will do two things:
It will add more speed to slower monsters climbing
It will reduce your contact to the building by about 80% and greatly reduce the chance of getting knocked down when an opponent is throwing projectiles.
\\\\SPECIAL ATTACKS//////// Every monster has two special attacks at their disposal under two categories; Close range and Long range. This chapter will cover the expansive utility of both types.
Short Range Special<<< Despite the differences in the vibrant animations, all monsters share the short range special attack in common. The only difference between them as far as I can ascertain Is the the time it takes to start up the blast (Ultra V being almost instant and zorgulon Taking 1.5 seconds). The purposes most common is to give yourself space when surrounded or cornered, and to have a quick and strong offense to your opponent knocking them down. However there is more utility in this attack when you think of this as a defensive move. Invincibility Frames<<< The short range special attack gives you about 2-3 seconds of invincibility frames meaning almost nothing can damage you aside from falling buildings. This is excellent as a defense against thrown objects, explosives, lightning, short and long range special attacks, and environmental hazards. Long Range Special<<< Every monster has a unique long range special attack that has different effects and ranges. There is more nuance in how you can utilize these attacks, so I will cover each monsters long range special individually so you can make the most out of these attacks:
Raptros' Fire Breath Raptros has a unique advantage in regards to how he uses this attack. He can activate it on the ground AND while mid-flight. Additionally, he can fire his projectiles while using his fire breath to squeeze in extra damage (There is a weird glitch where doing this turns the flame invisible, but the effect is still active). This also hinders opponents and catches them on fire.
Togera's Atomic Breath Similar to 'Raptros's Fire Breath' Togera's Breath has similar range and hinders opponents. The difference is that it deals more damage. You can also fire his projectiles while using his breath for pretty nasty damage.
Preytor's Flying Leeches Leechs not very damaging by itself, it is a decent threat if you can manage to chain up multiple specials around the map. (Ex. In Metro City there are multiple red orbs, 50% energy, around the buildings and streets where you can chain at least 3 leeches). There are two minor benefits from the leeches: A. It gives the opponent something else to target or focus on A.I. or human B. Can't be blocked unless intercepted by thrown object or shot projectile, or using a special attack, thus resulting in multiplying damage stacks if chained. You can also spread the leeches out by locking on different targets while sending them.
*This Special attack is really best used in situations where the opponent won't have time to stop all of the leaches (preferabally up close) followed up with your own projectiles or thrown objects or follow up advances.
Congar's Sonic Roar Similar range to Raptros and Togera's Breaths, and Considerable damage and launches opponents far. It can reach through some buildings for full effect. You can also tilt congars head around to spread the roar around to get a wider spread. Opponent can block this attack or counter with a short range special.
Robo-47's Atomic Missile The most immediately damaging special in the game by far. It also launches opponents far like congars roar. It is very versatile at close range and long range. You can choose to fire quickly or wait to lock on the target for a more likely hit. You can tilt his head down to shoot the ground for a damaging 'short range' blast. You can also cancel the missile by pressing the block button for later use. It cannot be blocked unless opponent uses short range special or dodges.
Agamo's Head This special is unique in it can be used to farm for more energy considerably fast while weilding it, which in turn stocks you with an additional special when you are ready for the next head or short range attack. Creating an efficient cycle of banking more special attacks. It is damaging and knocks opponents down upon a confirmed hit. It also can be used as a bomb by pressing the long range special button a second time. This isnt great for throwing at enemies from a distance as an explosive, launching opponents. The head when thrown is also super bouncy and ricochets damaging buildings and knocking down opponents all the while gaining you energy.
Magmo's Eruption This special launches a barrage of fireballs at an opponent and juggles them into the air with good damage followed up with some decent fall damage. This can be paired with a second erruption when chaining with a second special pickup on the map. You can tilt magmo's head up first before locking on an opponent to send the fireballs over obstacles and tyen lock on to your opponent have a better chance to reach them.
Kineticlops's Lightning storm This is great for crowd control and anti-air with good range. The storm electricutes all nearby monsters in range and launches them upward. This is nice for discouraging flying enemies. You can also flick the lighting up and down for flavor just to show off but it won't do much damage.
*Its also nice using this special following a one-two combo of shocking an opponent with a power generator and throwing for a double shock.
Zorgulon's UFO Swarm Arguably the weakest of the long range specials, but it is still is fun to use and can be used in creative ways. If you lock-on a target while executing this special (provided they are not behind cover) you will fire this device that hover above the target that calls in ufos to harrass the opponent. The damage is varied based on how many shots are managed by the ufos and when the device is destroyed. There is a charge on the device that when run out releases the ufos and ends the special. This can be shortened if you damage them in any way. Another use is to place them in an area of interest, such as locations with resources like health, energy, or powerups. It is more defensive and punishes opponents for going where you don't want them to go. You can also grab these ufos for a weapon to attack with, gaining more energy or even fire their lasers at the opponent. while not practical is fun.
Ultra V's Grapple Cable This special does minor damage but can grab and pull an opponent across the map to you and stuns the enemy for a few seconds. This can be really nasty since it allows you options to set up a combo, launch them with a 360 kick, pull them into environmental hazards (bottomless pits, radioactive waste, powerlines, steam, tsunamis, falling buildings). It can be use up close for an easy stun or to take opponents away from reaching resources such as Health, Energy, or powerups. At long ranges it is best used at highground where line of sight is less blocked by obstacles. You can also send the grapple while holding any object for extra damage. The fan favorite method is to use explosives (gasoline truck, airplanes, fuel tanks) for an explosive combo! even if you miss with the grapple the impact of the explosive will hit the opponent if close enough. You can also use the grapple to damage buildings to knock opponents off the walls.
\\\\Rage Utility//////// Rage is an interesting mechanic that I think some people overlook as not that useful. It Is available once you collect enough energy that you energy bar flashes, and makes it so your following actions are more effiecient than standard usage. Instead of your energy being used up quickly it is unlimited until the rage runs out. I have not tested if Rage increases your damage output. I have focused this as more a tool for various tactics I came up with.
sprinting with rage<<< using the dash usually expends energy really fast. however with Rage, you can extend the time you can continue you sprint significantly. you can Also dash-ram infinitely until expended, which is scary when used in conjunction with the lock-on steering technique. Firing projectiles with rage<<< Every monster has projectiles that have unique behaviors, have varying damage and cost. Every monster in general benefits from using rage to shoot more projectiles, the difference is in how you position yourself to shoot them effectively.
Flying monsters can use this to fire even more projectiles while in mid-flight without worrying about losing stamina, the unlimited energy also gives room to reposition the monster if more altitude is needed the damage is also decent from both of them. Robots like Robo-47 and Ultra V have similar projectiles that pepper small damage but are very rapid. The faster you mash the □ button, the faster the firing rate. when using rage you can catch opponents with little cover and barrage them with a volley of lasers/bullets. Kineniclops's projectile is unique that it is the slowest but has the most heat seeking property. You can shoot a lot with little cost and it deals decent damage especially if you can land multiple hits with them. with rage you can create an army of these lightning balls at some highground or running and jumping approaching them from different angles makes it hard for them to avoid the stacks in damage. \\\\Map Awareness//////// This section will cover Map awareness and how to take advantage of the abundant resources in your game. knowing the layout of the map as well as intimately knowing the placement and respawn time of your resources will aid you so much in how you decide to approach the following setups we are about to cover here.
Resources<<< Resources are defined as anything on the map you can pick up that aids you (Health, Energy, Powerups, Items). The location of Health, Energy, and powerups on each map is static, though consistent and respawn after a period of time. Items However can both be static (pieces of a building, rocks, water towers) and dynamic (moving items like cars, helicopters, trains). chaining resources<<< This is a series of actions that utilizes multiple resources for a desired outcome. (ex. gaining health/energy/damage).
For example, chaining a power transformer lightning bolt+throwing the transformer+radio tower spear impale+gasoline truck = a chain resulting in big damage to your opponent there are many combinations you can chain together with items its devistating when you know exactly when and where an item will be so you can in rapid succession throw items to juggle them from a distance.
chaining specials<<< For example, it is possible to set oneself up to use at least three specials in succesion easily in a map such as atomic island where the reactor in the center can recharge your special rapidly. Think of the possibilities with this alone, thats 3 to 4 flying leechs from preytor at once, 3-4 nuke missiles from robo- 47 and so on. Other maps have instances where if you have a special in stock you can position yourself next to another red orb or 50-100% energy and use a special of your choice and follow it up with an additional special that you subsequentally grab.
\\\\Advanced Combat//////// There are guides out there that cover the specific combos you can pull in sequence and I have a few quick tips to increase your combos, and increase your lethality.
Combo canceling<<< Each monster has varying speeds in execution and amount of hits they cam perform before they end with a launching strike. What I suggest when pursuing higher combos is to simply tap the block button before the launch. Speed is key here so results may vary. such as congar who is more combo focused with fast punches. You can unleash a lot of hits and tap the block button, the follow up with more hits. there is a chance that the opponent will have time to block so it takes practice.
Open Rodas, the first title from Open Roads Team, the game developer that was created for this project. This company was joined by Fullbright, an American game developer based in Portland, responsible for two notable titles such as Gone Home and Tacoma, major international successes in the indie games industry. The game is a mystery thriller that involves unraveling the past of Tess and Opal's family. Through Walking Simulator, you can control Tess through the different scenarios presented. In each scenario, you have to investigate the objects in order to find the different letters, tickets and postcards that tell the story of the family's life, specifically that of Tess's grandmother and Opal's mother, Helen. The tickets found pace the story so that just the right amount of information is released, and from there a discussion begins between Tess and her mother, Opal. The conversation between the two is the basis of the entire structure of the work. At times, these conversations require a decision on Tess's part, so the player must decide what and how to speak at crucial moments, be it something softer, harsher or indifferent. Tess's personality is left up to the player. As for the story, it is handled gracefully by the developers, with no jumps, which makes the game very solid, something characteristic of the visual novels it is clearly inspired by. The main story consists of investigating the past of Helen, the protagonist's grandmother, because after her death and the foreclosure of the house, the mother and daughter find themselves packing up their belongings for the inevitable move. In order to find an old notebook for Opal's sister, Tess goes up to the attic and discovers a hidden compartment that holds secrets from the old widow's past and a supposed love that didn't end well. To find out the truth, mother and daughter embark on a journey that takes them to the family's old summer house and then to Canada. This range of mysteries is delivered at a steady pace and surprises at its climax with a somewhat unexpected plot. Concurrent with the main story are the secondary issues that are exposed, these directly involving Tess and Opal, issues that include the separation of Tess's parents, Opal's financial difficulties and Aunt August's strange relationship with the family. https://preview.redd.it/3n1f9cubia1d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=a99ddcc12ede7ac7ec01d5a86de9ccaf1832afc3 When it comes to building the characters, both the secondary themes and the setting take center stage. The secondary themes work on Tess and Opal's different family relationships, they work on different fronts. The first front begins with Tess's argument with her mother and the messages exchanged with her father, which reveal the real reason for their separation, and which are later put to rest. The second front is related to the family's financial situation, which has been exposed since the beginning of the book, after all Opal didn't have the money to pay the mortgage and avoid the confiscation of the house, later the problem is developed with the revelation of Opal and her ex-husband's work, and the crazy financial things they both did, another point that makes this situation of financial difficulty clear is Tess working from a very young age to try to depend as little as possible on her parents. The last front involves Aunt August, where the play exposes the difficult relationship between her and her sister Opal and their mother, Helen, who, through not paying the mortgage on the house and not being there for her during the most difficult moments of Helen's illness, showed an emotional distance from the rest of the family. All three of these secondary stories help to build up the characters, since the problems they face need to be resolved in some way, even if not definitively, so their journey to uncover the family's past is also essential to repairing the present problems that surround them. The elements of the map play a fundamental role in the work, as they are the ignition point for the story that is developed through the dialogues. The messages and objects reveal secrets and bring the past to light, both of which are essential to the development of the story, be it the main story or the secondary ones. Through the objects it is possible to discover that Helen was a writer for the local newspaper, where she went by the pseudonym Miley and offered love advice to readers. It is also possible to discover the past of Leo, Hellen's husband and father of August and Opal, who after serving in the war worked as a building inspector until his death. The use of objects to tell the story goes beyond messages, postcards and notes, making it essential to understand the family's past. The game is short, if the player explores the settings enough it can last up to 4 hours, but it is usually shorter than that. The end of the main story is concluded with the plot revealed and the past unraveled, a period is given to this part. As for the secondary stories, which are of fundamental importance in the work, they are partially concluded, and it's fair to say that there's a period in several of them. The problems are alleviated but not solved, since many of them depend on other people and not just on the mother and daughter. However, the relationship between the two is strengthened and various grievances are put aside, and the final idea that is conveyed is “everything will work out”. It's probably at this point that the title Open Roads is conceived, the paths have been opened between the two with the problems between them resolved, now there's room for the rest to be carefully resolved by both. Aesthetically the work is incredible, the scenery features cartoonish 3D, and the characters are animated by hand with each frame being drawn separately. The work is incredible on the characters and because of this they bring a lightness to the work that deals with such serious subjects, it's an interesting contrast to use. In conclusion, Open Roads blends a mystery thriller, walking simulator and visual novel. The mixture makes for a concise work with incredible narrative and plot direction, the cadence of events, the competition between situations, everything happening at the right time in the right proportion, the work is magnificent. In addition, the story of an intriguing past with an unexpected plot twist, together with the current problems faced, create an ideal dichotomy to explore the two characters and their relationship. The icing on the cake is the artwork, which has a unique, rustic and labor-intensive character that almost single-handedly draws players in to experience the rest. Open Roads demonstrates that a good story, with good artwork and decent gameplay can make a short work into something striking, profound and beautiful.
2024.05.19 02:26 BoxPrevious1508A co-worker asked me to be her sperm donor
The most bizarre thing happened to me yesterday. This is a throwaway account because this story has to do with a co-worker. Several co-workers and I have Reddit account and often post on subs related to the industry we’re in and I don’t want them to see this. Yesterday, a female co-worker asked me to be her sperm donor. I’m friendly with this woman. I like her. I think she’s genuinely a sweet person who takes her job seriously and is good at what she does. I don’t think she always gets a fair shake at work or is taken seriously some of the time due to her appearance and some might say flirty behavior. I don’t know if she’s trying to be flirty or if she’s just one of those super friendly people. There’s nothing crazy about her appearance or anything, she’s just objectively attractive. I’ve heard guys make inappropriate sexual jokes about her. There have been rumors about her hooking up with multiple male colleagues. There was even a rumor that she and I were having an affair at one point, which had no merit. I’ve never slept with this woman or done anything sexual with her. I find her attractive and admittedly sometimes I do have to force myself to maintain eye contact with her when she’s talking to me. She wears revealing blouses sometimes. I’m a boob guy, so I’m just being honest here. But I’d never pursue anything like that with her. I’ve only ever acted respectful towards her. I’ve been divorced for about 2 years. I’ve dated some since then, but nothing serious that I want to commit to. I have kids with my ex-wife. So she told me she needed to meet to discuss something important with me. I’m a director and she’s a manager, separate departments - I’m not her supervisor. My department handles some things for her department and I know she’s been having trouble with somebody on my team. I assumed that’s what she wanted to talk about. Instead, she took me out to lunch to give me this big speech about why she wants to be a single mom and why she wants me to be her sperm donor! I was literally speechless. It was obvious she’s been thinking about it for a while. She’s even consulted a lawyer about the logistics of ensuring that a sperm donor of her choice could be guaranteed to not be held legally responsible for the child. She tried to assure me that she wouldn’t expect anything from me, she doesn’t want any involvement from me, and we wouldn’t have to tell anyone. We could even have actual sex if I wanted to do it that way, or we could be more formal about it, depending on my comfort level. I mean, it’s bizarre and was very uncomfortable, but at the same time strangely flattering. I didn’t say no right away. I haven’t actually told her no at all. I mean, inside I was yelling no way, but why didn’t I actually tell her that? Maybe I just wanted me ego stroked a bit more, idk. Of course I asked her why me. She said I’m nice, she likes me, I don’t treat her like a lot of the guys we work with. She thinks I’m “normal,” healthy as far as she’s aware, and she likes my physical features. But she’d want a full health history on me and my family before moving forward. I asked her why she didn’t go to a sperm bank. She said that’s what she initially planned to do when she started seriously thinking about becoming a single mother, but once she started delving into it she discovered that there are many ethical issues with sperm banks. Shes been talking online with several women who have used known donors and has decided that’s the way she needs to go. She thinks I’m a good fit because while we’re friendly, we’re not friends, we don’t hang out with each other, we don’t know each other outside of work. She feels she knows me well enough to determine she likes me and certain traits/characteristics, without having to worry about it being weird because I’m not a close friend or somebody that would be around her family or friend group at all. Plus, I’m divorced now so there no spouse or partner to have to deal with. She said she could always leave the company before anyone would possibly realize her kid looks like me if I’m worried about that. She feels she’d probably have to leave to avoid things being weird between us. She’s been studying for some sort of certification in hopes of finding a more specialized job anyway, she claims. We live in different cities, so our lives are totally separate outside of work. I felt like it was a prank or hidden camera thing. Truly one of the most bizarre and unexpected things to happen to me. But when I googled “coworker asked me to be a sperm donor” I was surprised to find out this is far from an isolated incident. What’s even more bizarre is after reading some of these other stories, I’m not 100% about saying no. I mean, I’m about 90% sure I’ll say no. I felt bad telling her no on the spot and intended to let her believe that I was considering it over the weekend since I got the impression she had spent so much time thinking about it and rehearsing what she was going to say. But now I actually am finding a tiny part of myself considering it and I almost can’t believe myself. Anyone ever been randomly asked to be a sperm donor before??? If you actually said yes, why? Did it work out in the end or become a legal mess? And no, I’m not seeming actual legal advice from Reddit.
just reading koschei wiki and wondering why too much of it matches tammy Koschei ACOwiki:
He is regarded as a powerful sorcerer who has a fondness for imprisoning women. He is the sorcerer who cursed Vassa turning her into a firebird by day, and woman by night and bound her to his lake.
Maas goes out of her way to write Tamlin as Feyre's imprisoner
We still don't know what the Spring Court pool of starlight does, it could connect to the lake
Koshchei often given the epithet "the Immortal", or "the Deathless," is an archetypal male antagonist in Russian folklore. The most common feature of tales involving Koschei is a spell which prevents him from being killed. He hides "his death" inside nested objects to protect it. For example, his death may be hidden in a needle that is hidden inside an egg, the egg is in a duck, the duck is in a hare, the hare is in a chest, the chest is buried or chained up on a far island. Usually he takes the role of a malevolent rival figure, who competes for (or entraps) a male hero's love interest.
Where's Tammy's heart?
entrapped male hero's love interest: checks out
In The Tale of Igor's Campaign Konchak is referred to as a koshey (slave). The legendary love of gold of Koschei is speculated to be a distorted record of Konchak's role as the keeper of the Kosh's resources.
Spring Court Tithe: love of gold, keeper of resources
Koschei's life-protecting spell may be derived from traditional Turkic amulets, which were egg-shaped and often contained arrowheads (cf. the needle in Koschei's egg).
It is thought that many of the negative aspects of Koschei's character are distortions of a more nuanced relationship of Khan Konchak with the Christian Slavs, such as his rescuing of Prince Igor from captivity, or the marriage between Igor's son and Konchak's daughter. Konchak, as a pagan, could have been demonised over time as a stereotypical villain.
Plenty of Tammy apologist posts can back up a reexamining of Tamlin's character distortion, which caused him to read as a demonized villain
Nikolai Novikov also suggested the etymological origin of koshchii meaning "youth" or "boy" or "captive", "slave", or "servant". The interpretation of "captive" is interesting because Koschei appears initially as a captive in some tales.
Tam's also technically a slave to Amarantha when we meet him
In folk tales
He usually functions as the antagonist or rival to a hero. Common themes are love and rivalry. In other tales, Koschei can cast a sleep spell that can be broken by playing an enchantedgusli. Depending on the tale he has different characteristics: he may ride a three- or seven-legged horse; may have tusks or fangs; and may possess a variety of different magic objects (like cloaks and rings) that a hero is sent to obtain; or he may have other magic powers.
rings: feyre's engagement ring sounds like aelin's. what king's tomb did aelin steal the rings from? whose sarcophagus would need to be buried that remotely, that deep under an inaccessible mtn, guarded by Little Folk and barrow wights?
The parallel female figure, Baba Yaga, as a rule does not appear in the same tale with Koschei, though exceptions exists where both appear together as a married couple, or as siblings. Sometimes, Baba Yaga appears in tales along with Koschei as an old woman figure, such as his motheror aunt. In the tale, also known as "The Death of Koschei the Deathless", Ivan Tsarevitch encounters Koschei chained in his wife's (Marya Morevna's) dungeon. He releases and revives Koschei, but Koschei abducts Marya. Ivan tries to rescue Marya several times, but Koschei's horse is too fast and he easily catches up with the escaping lovers. Each time Koschei's magical horse informs him that he could carry out several activities first and still catch up. After the third unsuccessful escape, Koschei cuts up Ivan and puts his body parts in a barrel which he throws into the sea. However, water of life revives Ivan. He then seeks outBaba Yaga to ask her for a horse swifter than Koshei's. After undergoing several trials he steals a horse and finally successfully rescues Marya.
Cut up body parts thrown in a barrel and sea water...Jurian in the Cauldron's dark freezing waters being resurrected?
idk how Baba Yaga fits, maybe Baba Yaga is "Lorin"
Tsar Bel-Belianin's wife the Tzaritza is abducted by Koschei (the wizard). The Tsar's three sons attempt to rescue her. The first two fail to reach the wizard's palace, but the third, Petr, succeeds. He reaches the Tzaritza, conceals himself, and learns how the wizard hides his life. Initially he lies, but the third time he reveals it is in an egg, in a duck, in a hare, that nests in a hollow log, that floats in a pond, found in a forest on the island of Bouyan. Petr seeks the egg, freeing animals along the way – on coming to Bouyan the freed animals help him catch the wizard's creatures and obtain the egg. He returns to the wizard's domain and kills him by squeezing the egg – every action on the egg is mirrored on the wizard's body.
Could easily turn this into a "Elain gets taken, Az goes spying to find her, figures out how to kill Koschei, turns out Koschei was disguised as Tammy, so no one's left to run Spring Court, let's give Spring Court to Elain as a sorry you got kidnapped consolation gift."
In "The Snake Princess" (Russian "Царевна-змея"/%D0%A6%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%BD%D0%B0-%D0%B7%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%8F)), Koschei turns a princess who does not want to marry him into a snake.
Who are you Viper Queen?
Who is Syrinx? Where'd Jesiba get him? If Syrinx and Tamlin are both chimera, are there other links btwn their characters?
Koschei hears of three beauties in a kingdom. He kills two and wounds a third, puts the kingdom to sleep (petrifies), and abducts the princesses. Ivan Sosnovich (Russian Иван Соснович) learns of Koschei's weakness: an egg in a box hidden under a mountain, so he digs up the whole mountain, finds the egg box and smashes it, and rescues the princess.

Benois recalled that Pyotr Petrovich Potyomkin, a poet and ballet enthusiast in Diaghilev's circle, proposed the subject of the Firebird) to the artists, citing the 1844 poem "A Winter's Journey" by Yakov Polonsky that includes the lines:
And in my dreams I see myself on a wolf's back Riding along a forest path To do battle with a sorcerer-tsar In that land where a princess sits under lock and key, Pining behind massive walls. There gardens surround a palace all of glass; There Firebirds sing by night And peck at golden fruit.
Spotted this weird sensor looking object with a heart eye emoji glued on top of the sensor of the TV at my bnb. Just curious if this is could be a hidden camera. The wires lead to a weird plug in the wall behind the TV.
2024.05.19 02:15 Unoriginal1deasStarfox 64 is the best aged game of the past 20 years
Okay maybe graphically it has but gameplay wise Star fox 64 is just the top of its class. Straight up boot up an N64 emulator and start up Starfox and you’ll be shocked at how this game is as fun now as it was 20 goddamn years ago. And that’s not to say other Retro games aren’t fun but usually when you play an old game you can see how the groundwork here would go on to inspire 20 years of innovation and evolution from that genre. You boot up final fantasy 7 and have a great time but you can see how an element of spectacle and graphical fidelity can really elevate a turn based RPG, you boot up metal gear solid and have a goddamn great time but you can see how the genre changed and shifted with later game to be a fun mix of stealth and action, you boot up resident evil and it has its charms but you feel the age almost immediately when you touch the tank control. And all of those experiences have their charm but you can see how later entries would improve on those foundations…. Not goddamn Starfox 64 So for those who don’t know Starfox 64 is what’s called a rail shooter, a game where you fly down down a linear track shooting all the enemies along the way to build up points and then fight a boss at the end, I would say before Starfox 64 the most recent rail shooter I played was kid Icarus uprising and that game is immaculate but Starfox just does it better. So what makes it so special? Insane replayablity and the need to accomplish multiple objectives during each level. So in day Kid Icarus uprising your only goal In the flight levels is to kill as many enemies as possible and reach the end of the stage alive and while that’s true in Star fox they always try to mix it up, firstly on a normal playthrough you go through 7 levels. However there’s multiple planets that you can go to on each level and the way change which stage you go to is by completing hidden side objectives during the level your currently on, but the kicker is that it’s not normal just find the 7 hidden doodads and finish the level, on a few of these once you accomplish the hidden objective it completely changes the current level on, fly through all the speed booster in meteo to activate warp speed and now your flying to the other side of the map and the back half of this level is completely different. But that’s not all, the game make sure it’s always doing something to keep you paying attention. You have 3 Wingmen with you on each stage that all provide banter to keep the pace going while each having a unique function (peppy = tutorials, Slippy = visible boss healthbars, Falco = shoots enemies or stage hazards), so every once in a while you’ll see your wingmen gettint shot at by enemies and if you don’t manage to take down those enemies they’ll have to leave for the rest of the mission and the next one for repairs so your focus is quichkly being shifted to the micro challenge. But the other big thing you’ll be keeping track of is the score attack aspect of the game, because you see each level has a hidden kill count you need to get, and when you reach that score you’ll see a medal on the level select screen, and normally I’m not one to car about that kind of stuff but if you manage to hit that score requirement on every stage you unlock the hidden Expert difficulty, which turns the game from a chill game a kid could fumble their way through to something honestly kinda brutal if you’re not ready for it, and just having that secret difficulty was all the motivation I needed. And that’s also interesting because the best way to get points is to hit enemies with charge shots that make a small explosion on impact and award bonus points for each additional enemy caught in the blast. So when you figure all of this out each level becomes a sort of checklist. You’re looking for incoming enemies and hazards to avoid taking damage, you’re keeping an eye out for your team members in danger when they pop up, you’re looking out for the hidden secondary objectives to change your route through the levels, and your thinking about what part of the level sends in what groups of enemies so you can plan out the best sections to hit with a charge shot or a bomb, and your doing all of that on a sort of timer as you fly through the level tension building up as your nearly at the bossfights but you still haven’t hit the score total for the medal requirement and then you hit that boss praying winning gives you enough points to push over the edge, it’s just an interesting way to introduce tension In a way that doesn’t put the player in danger. And last thing I wanna mention is controls other rail shooters and I think even Starfox Zero seperate the aiming reticle from the character and I think that might be a mistake actually. So in Starfox the input for move and aim are the same analogue stick and what this does is means that to try and aim and shoot at certain targets and enemies you need to actually put yourself in danger to do damage and I think that adds a lot of depth to the controls that I feel was kinda lacking in Kid Icarus. But yeah so why hasn’t Starfox aged a goddamn day? Because for some reason other rail shooters have never even attempted what Starfox did, with immaculate level design, and a game that can provide steady difficulty while also giving players options on how to tackle missions and alternative paths beyond the typical narrow paths and seemingly endless replay ability I promise you won’t find a 20 year old game that has aged this good.
2024.05.19 00:40 thealmightydwellerI can’t with this games community anymore
Do all these people do is just complain? Like seriously and why are people upvoting this??! I remember when the game first released and apart from it being an amazing game it was the community that really made it great. People having such enthusiasm and excitement about this game and acting like they are real soldiers and giving into the satire was what made it great. Now all everyone does is complain. Dare I say I think the community is now the worst thing about this game kind of like genshin impact but for different reasons
2024.05.18 23:12 _NA-Quantum entanglement and spacetime
Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon in quantum mechanics, that when two or more particles are entangled, their properties can no longer be described individually. Instead, they can be only described as an entity with wavefunction. Derived from this simultaneity, nonlocality is a principle which is used to explain the simultaneity of quantum entanglement across spacetime. It means that objects may affect simultaneous event that is not adjacent to them. Action at distance is hence possible. In this process, the information may still be unable to be transmitted faster than speed of light, as quantum entangled pair would disentangle once it is observed and the information observed would be random. Nonetheless, nonlocality might still “cannot be made to peacefully coexist with special relativity”. For relativity theory, spacetime is a key concept. It is the four-dimensional entity that consists of three space dimensions and the dimension of time. Every particle’s position is presented by four parameters, three for space and one of time. The relativity theory and quantum mechanics are two fundamental theories that shape our current understanding of the physical world, yet they are not perfectly consistent. I've found some viable connections between spacetime and quantum entanglement, a field that has been studied in the last few decades, when some potential structures are found that can be used to describe the relation. Studies suggest that quantum entanglement is not the mere connection between different particles, but the connection of the degree of freedom of the spacetime where they are located. What is more, the connection between spacetime and quantum entanglement can draw a larger picture: a universe which is fabricated by entangled spacetimes. The concept of quantum entanglement originates from the famous EPR paradox, come up by Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen. A quantum entangled particle pair can be only described with the same wave function, so their behaviors are interrelated. As one particle spins up, the other must be down. This process is immediate, so the information must be traveling with speed, greater than the speed of light if the behaviors of particles are at random. This odd property makes Einstein and the other two physicists draw the conclusion that there must be some hidden variables controlling their performance. Their conclusion is rooted in a simple idea: principle of locality. Principle of locality is that an object can only pass the influence of forces continuously through either field or space. This principle, nonetheless, had been disproved by the test of Bell’s inequality. If that energy/matter and information cannot be transmitted faster than speed of light is still an axiom in physics, the principle of locality must not be true. Bell’s inequality is the formula based on the assumption of hidden variable. Hidden variable means that the collapse of wavefunction does not have an action at distance among the entangled particles. Every behavior of the paired particles is predicted by hidden variables, so uncertainty is not required in this theory. Therefore, the transmission of information is local since there is no action at distance among entangled pairs. Bell’s inequality is a property predicted by this theory. Bell’s inequality predicts behavior of entangled particles different from that of quantum mechanics based on Copenhagen’s interpretation. According to the experimental examination of this inequality, this inequality is clearly violated. Therefore, nonlocality of quantum entanglement should be the only possible explanation that preserve the principle of constancy of light speed. Many works had been done in discovering the relation between the frame of reference and quantum entanglement. It has been verified with experiments that Bell’s inequality is still violated under Lorentz Boost. This finding suggests that the correlations between entangled particles are preserve in all frames, even in those relativistic ones. Similar studies had been performed by other scholars, who mainly studied the cases of quantum entanglement between relativistic massive particles. This finding shows that degree of violation of Bell’s inequality is dependent on the relative velocity of the particle measured with respect to the laboratory, yet particle pairs do not disentangle as they reach a certain relative speed. Therefore, the finding further confirms conservation of nonlocality in all frame of reference. Whether quantum entanglement and spacetime are related is a profound question. A study made by Mark Van Raamsdonk finds that “emergence of classically connected spacetimes is intimately related to the quantum entanglement of degrees of freedom in a non-perturbative description of quantum gravity”. The disentanglement of two separate spacetime is similar to that of two entangled particles. In fact, if two regions of spacetime is disentangled, they “pull apart” from each other. Built on the non-perturbative description of quantum gravity, this finding can be applied to spacetime of the physical world. Raamsdonk extended the discussion to some examples of gauge theory/gravity duality. He found out that “in at least some cases, classically connected spacetimes may be understood as particular quantum superpositions of disconnected spacetimes”. As distance between two regions of spacetime increases, the entanglement of degree of freedom degreases. Disentanglement of two separated regions of spacetime should be considered no longer connected. These two studies rely on the non-perturbative description of quantum gravity and the gauge theory/gravity duality. Particularly, they rely on some particular cases of gauge theory/gravity duality. Therefore, if gauge theory’s prediction in this field is proved invalid, the results would also collapse. However, since the gauge theory well predict the behavior of quantum world, these examples might also be true. Yet they need further experimental verification. The fact that quantum entanglement might form spacetime is an exciting finding. Quantum entanglement has long been considered irrelevant to relativistic theory. Typically, researchers did not treat entanglement, namely nonlocality, relevant to spacetime. These studies suggest a deep connection between two seemingly distinct physical entity, that classically continuous spacetime can be described as an extended object of quantum entanglement. Instead of forming spacetime from quantum entanglement, there are other studies suggest that quantum entanglement can be described in terms of spacetime connection. The first study derives from the coincidence of the maximum “probability of quantum entanglement of two particles” of 9.0169945% and “exactly the golden mean ϕ to the power of five ( )”. This theory is somewhat surprising, yet it is supported with valid calculation. Its conclusion shows that quantum entanglement can be a result of complex spacetime geometry. The emergence of quantum entanglement might not solely be explained in term of quantum mechanics, which ignores the effect of spacetime geometry. In addition, it might also be intrinsically linked to the structure of spacetime. Despite its exciting result, it is based on calculation of the coincidence of probability of quantum entanglement and golden mean to the fifth power. Whether it is a superficial coincidence or profound relation would greatly influence its validity. Besides, experimental verification is still needed. If the result is proven physical meaningless, it is also not a valid theory. Nonetheless, this study still provides some insights about how to describe quantum entanglement in terms of spacetime geometry. The relation between quantum entanglement and spacetime has a more prominent meaning: quantum entangled pair can be seen as a non-traversable wormhole. Researchers “construct holographic dual of two colored quasiparticles in maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory entangled in a color singlet Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) pair”. According to their research, entanglement is “encoded in a geometry of a non-traversable wormhole”. This finding is significant because it provides connection between the strangest predictions of quantum mechanics and that of relativistic theory. Wormhole is no less strange than quantum entanglement, yet they are the result of distinct mechanism. Worm hole is the result of severe torsion of spacetime, while quantum entanglement is relation between particle pairs. Combining these two phenomena is helpful to understand the properties of spacetime. Combined together, these studies suggest a larger picture of physics study: a spacetime intrinsically linked by entanglement. From the point of view of quantum entanglement, it is the entanglement between different regions that fabricates the classic continuous spacetime. From the stance of spacetime, it is the intrinsic property of the entity itself that embodies the emergence of entanglement. A larger picture is implied by the entangled spacetime. According to the study made by Chunjun Cao, Sean M. Carroll, and Spyridon Michalakis, the spacetime itself seems to self-emerge from the entanglement. They “examined how space can emerge from an abstract quantum state in Hilbert space, and how something like Einstein’s equation is a natural consequence of this bulk emergent gravity program”. What is more, the model allows classical wormhole to emerge as a result, which deepens the relation between quantum entanglement and spacetime, since this is an unexpected feature without putting the two entities together. “Lengths and other geometric quantities are determined by entanglement”, and “gravity appears to arise from quantum mechanics in a natural way”. Self-emergence of spacetime from quantum mechanics implies a new relation between gravity and quantum mechanics. The study combined and rebuilt the previous studies from a very solid basis, so that no semiclassical backgrounds like classical may have influenced the result. The rebuilt makes the result more convincing, in that it excluded assumptions of the previous studies that might be mistaken from this one. Starting from pure quantum state instead of “quantizing classical degree of freedom”, so the construction of spacetime from quantum entanglement would not be the result of those potentially mistaken assumptions. The self-emergence of spacetime from quantum entanglement is helpful in constructing a quantum gravity theory. This is a crucial insight to our understanding of gravity, the last uncovered fundamental force in Yang-Mills theory. Described as the result of spacetime geometry in relativity theory, gravity cannot be described like other forces. For relativity theory, gravity is not a force at all, but an illusion produced by the movement of objects and the distorted geodesic of spacetime near a massive object. If the spacetime geometry can be successfully described in quantum scale, the gravity may be described in terms of quantum mechanics. With the interesting connection that is newly found, this long existing gap may be filled out. The spacetime can self-emerge from quantum entanglement, which can be explained by spacetime geometry. This shows that spacetime is closely linked by some rules of quantum mechanics. In addition, the fact that quantum entanglement might be understood as wormhole or the result of spacetime geometry also suggests quantum entanglement itself is closely related to the mechanics of spacetime, a field which can be effectively explained by relativity theory. The studies of relations between quantum entanglement and spacetime are still restrained to hypotheses, nonetheless, meaning these results might still be invalidated by experimental verification. Despite these risks, studies in this field are still noteworthy because of the provision it brings. Besides, the failure of some predictions might show false understanding of some ideas in physics, so it can also lead to a new field of research even if these results are proven incompletely correct. From the studies of quantum mechanics and relativity theory, the relation between quantum entanglement and the spacetime seems intrinsic. Derived from the known example of gauge theory/gravity duality, the continuous spacetime can be fabricated by quantum superpositions of disconnected spacetimes. This implies a potentially crucial role of quantum entanglement in spacetime. In addition, the study of space and Hilbert space shows that the quantum state naturally produces space. On the contrary, Cantorian spacetime geometry can explain quantum entanglement in context of spacetime geometry. Moreover, the study of wormhole shows that quantum entanglement can be considered as non-traversable wormhole. In conclusion, all these studies imply that quantum entanglement and space can be mutually explained. These studies lack of direct evidence from experiment. Some further researches on the field might solve this problem, so the theory can make valid predictions.
2024.05.18 22:59 TheHarryPotterGeekEpisode 2: A World Revealed
The trio stood in awe, their eyes wide with amazement as they took in the bustling magical world around them. People flew through the air on broomsticks, and animated conversations about dragons filled the air. Shops sold wands, potions, and magical creatures. The vibrant, bustling atmosphere was unlike anything they had ever seen. Lily Everwood: "This... this can't be real. How is any of this possible?" Toby Fletcher: "I don't like this, guys. This is too much. What if we're dreaming?" Fin Sparks: "Calm down, both of you. Look around! We need to figure out where we are and what this place is." As they continued to explore, Fin noticed a moving newspaper underfoot. He picked it up, and the images on the front page moved, showing scenes of magical events. Lily and Toby freaked out, but Fin kept his cool, trying to calm them. Fin Sparks: "Look, everything here is different, but we have to stay calm. Let's see if we can find someone who can explain all this." They noticed a group of people listening to a guide, so they sneaked closer to join them. The guide was explaining the basics of the magical world, including the currency, customs, and places. Tour Guide: "Welcome to Diagon Alley, the heart of the magical world! Here you'll find shops for wands, potion ingredients, and everything a witch or wizard needs. And of course, the currency here is Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts." As the guide spoke, Fin's attention drifted to a boy in the distance who looked oddly familiar. Before he could get a closer look, the boy vanished from sight. Fin rejoined his friends just as the guide started talking about Hogwarts. Tour Guide: "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is one of the finest magical schools in the world. It has four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. And yes, we must not forget about the dark times brought by Voldemort, who still poses a threat to our world." Suddenly, they spotted someone familiar—Sanjay, a boy from their neighborhood. Sanjay saw them, and his eyes widened in shock. He grabbed Fin's hand and hurried them into a secluded alley, with Lily and Toby close behind. Sanjay: "What the heck are you doing here, Fin? This place is dangerous if you don't know your way around!" Fin Sparks: "Sanjay, we saw this stranger who gave us a bag, and then... we ended up here. We don't even know how it happened!" Sanjay sighed, realizing the seriousness of the situation. He looked around nervously before addressing them. Sanjay: "Okay, listen carefully. This is the magical world. It's hidden from Muggles—non-magical people like us. How did you end up here without knowing about it?" Lily, curious as ever, opened the small pouch they had received from the stranger. The pouch suddenly disappeared in a puff of smoke, causing all four of them to jump back in surprise. Lily Everwood: "What just happened? Where did it go?" Sanjay: "Calm down. That was a portkey, a magical object used for transportation. The fact that you ended up here means... you're probably wizards or witches." Fin's eyes sparkled with excitement as he realized what Sanjay was saying. Lily and Toby exchanged glances, still processing everything. Sanjay: "Only a magical person can enter this world without knowing it or without proper guidance. That means you three have magic in you." Lily Everwood: "This is incredible... but also confusing. What are we supposed to do now?" Fin Sparks: "If we're here, it means we belong. We have to explore this world and learn more about it." Sanjay then mentioned Voldemort and Harry Potter, sparking Fin's curiosity. Fin Sparks: "How do we get rid of Voldemort? Is there a way?" Sanjay: "The only person who can truly defeat Voldemort is Harry Potter. He's the one who has faced him and survived multiple times." All Three (Fin, Lily, Toby): "Who?" Sanjay explained the history of Voldemort and Harry Potter, detailing their legendary battles and the hope Harry represented for the magical world. He also mentioned that students who are late bloomers can be accepted into Hogwarts in their fifth year, which was around their age. Sanjay: "You guys are fifteen, right? That means you could start at Hogwarts in your fifth year. If you're interested, I can teach you some basic magic to get you ready." Lily's face lit up with excitement, but she was still torn between the two worlds. Lily Everwood: "This sounds amazing, but... is it the right thing to do? Should we leave our world behind?" Fin Sparks: "If we're not wizards, we wouldn't be here. This is our chance to find out who we really are." After a serious discussion lasting 15-30 minutes, where they weighed their options and expressed their fears and hopes, all three finally agreed. Lily Everwood: "Alright. Let's do this. Let's learn magic." Toby Fletcher: "Yeah, let's give it a shot. This might be the adventure of a lifetime." Fin Sparks: "We're in this together. Let's find out what being wizards really means." As they made their decision, the trio felt a mix of excitement and apprehension, ready to embark on a new journey into the unknown. Sanjay's Explanation:"Alright, let me break it down for you. The magical world has been hidden from Muggles—non-magical people like us—for centuries. We have our own schools, governments, and societies. Hogwarts is one of the best schools for young witches and wizards. Each house there has its own unique qualities: Gryffindor for the brave, Hufflepuff for the loyal, Ravenclaw for the wise, and Slytherin for the ambitious. "Voldemort is a dark wizard who terrorized our world. Harry Potter is the boy who lived, the one who survived an attack by Voldemort as a baby. He's been fighting against him ever since. Our world is full of magic and danger, and it's not something to be taken lightly. But if you truly are wizards, you have a place here, and you can learn to harness your magic." Fin listened intently, feeling a sense of purpose he had never felt before. This was his chance to understand the strange occurrences in his life and to belong to a world he never knew existed. Lily Everwood: "I always knew there was something special about you, Fin. Maybe this is where we're meant to be." Toby Fletcher: "Yeah, and if we're going to do this, we'll do it together. Like we always have." With their minds made up, the trio braced themselves for the adventures that lay ahead. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but with Sanjay's guidance and their newfound determination, they felt ready to face whatever challenges the magical world had in store. End of Episode 2

Hi, I've been looking all over for a hidden object game that I've played maybe around 2010. I think it was a browser game but I'm not 100% sure, I played it for free though. It wasn't on Steam or anything like that. I think it was modernish setting where I was a police officer (I think a woman) investigating a crime scene. It was in a forest at midnight, everything was kinda blue. I think there was an injured werewolf in it, and he was looking for some kind of gem? I don't remember the plot but I know that I could return to the crime scene again at some point. I don't think there were that many side games, there were some additional puzzles, but I don't think there was like connect-three games and such. (I might be wrong though!) From what I've looked at, the hidden objects screens art style looked very similar to classic Big Fish games. As you can imagine, I don't even know where to start, so I'm hoping someone can recall the title. Not sure if it was the same game, but I also remember some kind of castle-like setting with cauldrons with green stuff, some portals and symbols. Very vague, I know and I'm sorry. (If it's a separate game, I'd love to know the name also lol) Thank you!
2024.05.18 22:42 Previous_Kale_4508Error appearing in Classic 5 properties box
Hi, I cannot tell if you are still collecting error reports for Geogebra Classic 5, but I just got an interesting error. Hopefully the image will appear correctly below and save many words. Basically I was making an alteration to an existing Line object when I accidentally typed something wrong. I immediately corrected myself, so quickly that I didn't even notice what I was that I'd typed wrong… however, the error message has remained ever since. https://preview.redd.it/o7msn55dx81d1.png?width=390&format=png&auto=webp&s=90552304c938c4bf4b676ee2f99ec0c2d0a4364e I'm running Linux Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and Geogebra Classic 5.0.803.0-d. 2024.05.18 21:58 emptyArray_79Reworking The Guardian Part 2: Class Options
Hi, the past few days I had to think about about the Guardian, some of the issues the class has as it is right now, and how I would go about fixing them. I had a lot of (What I think to be) cool ideas and now want to share them across a few posts on this sub. This post is one of those. I will first write down the ideas I had as rules, and then later add some comments explaining my thoughts and reasoning behind those ideas. Disclaimer: This is not me saying that this is what the Guardian SHOULD BE. I also don't claim that these changes would even necessarily be for the better. My goals with these posts is not to dictate how to make the Guardian properly. My goals with these posts is discussing potential issues with the Class (many of which have already been pointed out, some of which I haven't seen discussed much), talking about potential ways of fixing them and discussing game design in general, but primarily, my goal with this is just to share and discuss some cool ideas I had because I love homebrewing :). And how knows, maybe a Paizo designer stumbles across one of these and takes some inspiration, but that would already be far more than I would hope to accomplish. Here is a list of all parts: Reworking The Guardian Part 1: The Taunt Mechanic Reworking The Guardian Part 3: Class Mechanics & Subclasses This will probably the longest post. Here I go into the primary class options my homebrew Guardians would be able to choose from. At the end I discuss some feat ideas I had, some of which should replace feats I turned into class features. _______________________________________________________________________________________
Keyword Intercept:
Some abilities refer to this. These are the rules for intercepting
Intercept You attempt to redirect an effect away from an ally to yourself. Generally, only targeted effects can be intercepted. Attempt a check using your Class DC - 10 + your armors item bonus against the enemies relevant DC or 10 + the enemies relevant modifier. -Critical Success: As success, but you gain a +2 circumstance bonus to the relevant defense. -Success: You are in time. The effect targets you instead of your ally. You can still choose to split the damage like with the failure condition. -Failure: You are barley too late. If the effect causes damage, your ally takes half and you can take the other half. You an your ally only apply half your usual resistances against that damage. -Critical Failure: You fail to Intercept
Defensive Strategy
While all Guardians are specialists of protecting their allies, the way they go about doing so differs from Guardian to Guardian. Choose 2 of the following abilities. You Subclass will grant you a third one.
Tackle Ally ⟳ Trigger: An willing ally you are adjacent is about to be subject to a hostile effect. Effect: Before the effect resolves, you push the ally 5 feet away from you and enter their space yourself. This is forced movement. If their is not enough space for either, this ability fails. If the triggering effect was targeted, you also try to Intercept it. If the triggering effect was an area effect and the ally is now outside the area, they aren't affected. Command Attention ◆ or ◆◆ (mental) Duration: Until the end of your next turn. Area: 15-foot or 30-foot emanation. Effect: All enemies in the area are taunted 1. The area depends on the actions spend. Danger Sense Whenever you are in the presence of a hidden threat (Such as a potential ambush, traps, hidden weapons ect.) the GM secretly rolls a Perception check against a relevant DC (Usually the Stealth DC of the creature/object). On a success you spot the danger, on a critical success you or an ally of yours gains a +1 circumstance bonus on the relevant defensive stat for the purpose of the first check made to resist the spotted threat. Hampering Sweeps ◆ Like the feat, but enemies can attempt a Reflex save against your class DC. -Success: They get away -Failure: They can't get away -Critical Failure: They can't get away and can't take move actions for the rest of their turn. Taunting Strike ◆ (flourish) You Strike an enemy. If you hit they are taunted 1 (Taunted 2 on a critical). Challenge ◆ (mental) Range: 60 feet Duration: 1 round. Effect: The enemy has to attempt a Will save against your Class DC. -Critical Success: They are unaffected. -Success: They are taunted 1. -Failure: They are up to taunted 2 (Your choice). -Critical Failure: They are up to taunted 2 for up to 2 rounds (Your choice). Blanket Defense ◆◆ Like the feat. Body Block ◆◆ Area: 5-foot emanation. Duration: Sustained up to 3 rounds. Effect: Whenever the line-of-effect of a ranged, targeted strike/ability/spell intersect the area, you can attempt to Intercept it. If the effect is a burst, line or cone and you are between an affected ally and the areas origin, you can attempt the same check as the one when you would Intercept, but it has the following effects: -Critical Success: As success but you get a +1 circumstance bonus to the relevant defense instead. -Success: Only you are affected and you take a -1 circumstance penalty to the relevant defense. -Failure: Both you and the ally are affected as normal. Covering Statue You always provide Standard Cover instead of Lesser Cover to allies and allies can Take Cover behind you to upgrade this to Greater Cover. Guard Ally ◆ Targets: An ally adjacent to you. Duration: Until the end of your next turn. Effect: As long as you are still adjacent to the target, you can Intercept all targeted effects the ally is subject to. If the ally moves, you can Stride up to your speed as a reaction, but you have to Stride towards the allies current position. Guardian Lore You gain "Guardian Lore". You can use "Guardian Lore" to Recall Knowledge about offensive statistics and abilities and about ways of mitigating them. Your proficiency in Guardian Lore increases to expert at 3rd level, to master at 7th level and to legendary at 15th level.
Feat Ideas
Taunting Strength --- Feat 2 When you succeed at an Athletics check against an enemy, they have to make a Will save against your class DC. On a failure they are taunted 1 for 1 round (Taunted 2 on a critical failure). If you Athletics check was a critical success, they decrease their degree of success by one step. Slowing Strike ◆ (flourish) --- Feat 6 Make a Strike against an enemy. If you hit, they need to make a Fortitude save against your Class DC. If your hit was a critical hit, they decrease their degree of success by 1 step. -Critical Success: They are unaffected. -Success: They take a -5 foot status penalty to their speed for 1 round. -Failure: They take a -15 foot status penalty to their speed for 1 round. -Critical Failure: They are Immobilized for 1 round. Ground Stomp ◆◆ --- Feat 8 You stomp the ground so hard that it becomes uneven and difficult to walk through. The ground in a 10 foot emanation becomes difficult terrain. All creatures in the area must attempt a Reflex save against your Class DC. On a failure they loose 10 feet of their next Stride action. On a critical failure they also fall prone. Don't Run! --- Feat 10 When an enemy is taunted by you, moving away from you is difficult terrain.
I want to start by saying, that while there was a lot of though behind some of these, other more just proof of concepts, and I realize that these options are probably not balanced yet. There are a few things I tried to accomplish with these changes
I think that the Guardian is thematically closer to an Archetype than a Class. Its about protection in two very specific and niche ways. I think, that while for archetypes to have a very specific/limited scope/theme, classes need to be more open ended, or if they are specific in theme (Like the Thaumaturge) they need to have a very strong theme. And even those very specific classes (Thaumaturge, Psychic, Gunslinger) usually have a lot of choices and different ways of being played/build. I think this is something the Guardian still lacks. I come back to this in my post about Class Mechanics & Subclasses, but I tried to expand the theme from "Very specific video game-esk semi-tank" to being about "Protection in various different ways".
I wanted to provide players with interesting choices and make it so that different Guardians can actually be very different.
I tried to balance some broken options.
I turned some Feats that I think are very fitting for the class into general class options that you can take at level 1.
I wanted these abilities to fulfill the "tank" fantasy better. Gameplay of tanks generally centers around positioning and space-control. So I added some abilities that allow you to engage with that aspect of strategy.
Now lets discuss specific options
Intercept
I find it weird how, in the original guardian, this has very impactful ability and "absolute" ability had no check associated with it, while the ability that is just a debuff has. I feel like it should be the other way around. So I added a check. In return, I made it for more applicable. Now you can not only use it to block damage, but you can even use it to "tank" debuffing effects for your allies, widening the scope of what you can protect your allies from.
Tackle Ally
This is basically the "replacement" for the original "Intercept" class feature, so what I wrote for "Intercept" also applies here. Additionally, I think the ability to control your allies positioning and, for example, push them outside of the range of an attack to protect them from follow-ups or out of a spells area opens a new dimension of strategy.
Command Attention
I feel like a Tank class needs an option that allows it to take aggro from multiple smaller creatures around it at once. This ability also plays a lot with your positioning. I also think that it makes sense for this to be automatic. This avoids a lot of weirdness in regards to who you want to fail and who don't you want to fail and makes the ability both more consistently useful and simple.
Danger Sense / Guardian Lore
I want to start by saying that I got the idea for these options from the Rules Lawyer Playtest stream, where they discussed the Guardian at the end. One of his players said how he wants the Guardian to also have protection themed exploration abilities, and I couldn't agree more. I think a "Protection" class should also have options for indirect protection. Both in reality and in fantasy, "protecting" not only includes physically putting yourself between the attacker and your protectee (Usually you needing to do that means that something went wrong), proper protection primarily means seeing potential dangers coming and knowing how to avoid or deal with them. These two options play into that aspect of protection.
Hampering Sweeps/Blanket Defense
I think these feats are just so thematic, cool and fitting for the class that they should be primary class features. Hampering Sweeps also needs a small nerf of course because, no, I don't think a lv 1 Guardian should be able to literally bind a god if that god had no teleportation spells prepared xd. In regard to Blanket Defense, spending a whole turn on this, I think, feels bad, and I think that the ability is also balanced if it only causes two actions.
Body Block
This is meant to be the classic Reinhard/Braum shield esk ability, where you can literally use a shield, or in this case your body, to intercept range attacks against your allies. This also makes positioning really important.
Taunting Strike
This is supposed to be a cool option if you want to mix some offense into your Guardian.
Covering Statue
Together with Taunting Strike this allows you to have an extremely action efficient Guardian, if you wanted to. You could then use those actions for something more action-intensive. This could open up a lot of cool build ideas.
Slowing Strike
This is meant to provide the Guardian with another option to control the battlefield and indirectly protect their allies. This also particularly adds some cool ranged Guardian support I'd imagine.
Ground Stomp
I am honestly not sure right now since it has been some time since I read through every single feat, but I feel like the Guardian currently lacks some sort of soft Aoe CC. This should provide this.
Don't Run!
I feel like this is just a typical tank-space control ability that synergizes well with other class options. I think this opens up a lot of tactical possibilities for the class.

Tissue Polysemous title- Tissue • Tissue- paper + skin (human life is fragile [criticises arrogance, encourages us to protect]) • Also paper (not alive) + skin (alive)- criticises monotony of life, not really living • Tissue paper- found in bibles and holy texts, but fragile (overinflated importance of identity causing wars and discrimination, really it’s very fragile and identity isn’t real, we’re all just people (tissue as in skin)) • Tissue- used to wipe away tears, togetherness can reduce suffering • Tissue- medical term for deep skin- poem shows deeper nature of humans and our potential for goodness, can be wounded and damaged by outside influences but can always heal "Paper that lets the light shine through, this is what could alter things" - reference to religious texts paper, light as Jesus and Allah (power of religion) - or coexistence with nature (Dharker is a Muslim Calvinist) Enjambment- freedom, lack of control of humans, rejecting constraints Free verse- same thing "Let the daylight break through capitals and monoliths" - power of nature, criticism of authority, weakness of humans- “break” violent personification, destroying authority, daylight + break = sunrise + hope "The sun shines through their borderlines" - nature overcomes human segregation identity, criticism of war, power of nature) sibilance shows power, “their” still shows separation, criticise that "fly our lives like paper kites" - childish metaphor, mocking control of money over life (criticism of authority) "the back of the Koran" - “the” repetition shows importance, “back” shows it is hidden/shunned by society, still holding onto identity "Transparent" - repetition, criticism of dishonesty of authority Exposure "Merciless iced east winds that knive us" - personification of wind shanking people (first line not about war but nature- more significant) (power of nature)- subtle sibilance (just as dangerous as bullets but most people don’t realise)- Germans were in the east, but the only thing from there is wind ABBAC rhyme, structure is built only to be taken down (tension of soldiers expecting fight but let down) Pararhyme- unsatisfying for reader, reflects how the soldiers are always nervous but never get to chill “What are we doing here?” Rhetorical question to criticise authority, or actual question to show PTSD confusion, can be asking what they are DOING or why they are HERE "For love of God seems dying" ok 1. The soldier's love of God is dying 2. God's love for the soldiers is dying 3. To show love of God, you should die "forgotten dreams" - juxtaposition, loss of hope, forgotten dreams on purpose to be less sad? war made them forget? “forgotten” disassociated from PTSD, “dreams” as happiness from the past that seems unreal “a dull rumour of some other war" reference to the Bible and Armageddon, metaphorical end of the world for the soldiers be suffering "sudden successive flights of bullets streak the silence" - sibilance represents sound of bullets, jolting reader out of relative lack of noises, feel like soldiers Epistrophe "but nothing happens" cyclical structure, stuck in suffering “we” “us” “our” collective pronouns, shared experience, comradeship, loss of identity, relatable to all soldiers Kamikaze Title- single word, only military rank- only seen as a kamikaze pilot by others Structure- 6 lines per stanza but free verse and lots of enjambment- conflict between control and freedom (military/social expectations/duty vs love for family/nature/memories/life) Constant shifts between first person and third person- disconnect from family due to shame “Her father embarked at sunrise” -sunrise as power of nature + Japan’s military flag- conflict “a shaven head full of powerful incantations” -incantations are deliberately vague- orders from military? prayers? inner conscience against it? It’s “powerful” tho and influences him, and it’s “full” showing his distress, shaved head like most kamikaze pilots “green-blue translucent sea” beautiful imagery, “translucent” shows how things are unclear but getting clearer- nature helps him decide what to do Describes fishes “like a huge flag”- patriotic semantic field shows brainwashing, but reduces as the poem goes on, simile shows how he is starting to disconnect and change his mind, also as “a figure of eight”- shows thoughts of pride and prosperity- “The dark shoals of fishes/flashing silver as their bellies/swivelled towards the sun” - • sibilance shows ocean noises and beauty, “dark” -> “flashing silver” things get brighter and easier to see- knows what to do thanks to nature • “Silver”- medals he would have gotten for being a kamikaze pilot, but true reward is in nature • “Sun”- represents beauty of nature and also Japanese flag- conflict but now there’s also nature in the mix • Belly up- death on his mind “bringing their father’s home safe/-yes, grandfather’s boat- safe” repetition of “safe” shows reason to come back- wants to return to family, memories “a tuna, the dark prince, muscular, dangerous.” • first mention of danger = power in the whole poem, danger to the mission as it causes the pilot to have doubts, true power is in nature and memory • First full stop in the poem and lots of commas- makes us stop and think like the pilot about what he’s abt to do “laughed” “loved” at the end of the poem- all in past tense- nothing left for the soldier “we too learned to be silent”- “learned” should be positive but contrasts with what they learnt- criticises how they were taught shame by the older generations- but it’s said in first person, the daughter is criticising this and teaching her children not to think that way Poppies Title- honours and grieves dead soldiers, short single word title shows full intent of the poem and how the mother’s life is consumed by grief Dramatic monologue- emphasis on the domestic impact and how the soldier isn’t present in the poem Free verse, enjambment- chaotic, lack of control over the son, distressed Domestic + military semantic fields- life has been ruined by war “Spasms of paper red, disrupting a blockade of yellow bias”- mix between war + domestic • “spasms” and “red” is injury and pain- mother is worried or is hurt by letting go (spasms is involuntary muscle action- involuntary letting go), • “paper” is the fragility of the son • “blockade” is military language showing her worry abt the conflict, how she wants to “block” her son from going into the military • “disrupting” the fabric - the son becoming a soldier disrupts the peace or she is trying to disrupt him from going to war “The dove pulled freely against the sky, / an ornamental stitch”- dove represents peace and grief- she and her son is at peace with death, “pulled freely” is an oxymoron- inner conflict with grief or letting her son go, the comma shows a pause to reflect on the grief, the “ornamental stitch” metaphor for the mother (pretends to hold it together) “I was brave”- takes down ideas of just the soldier’s bravery but also the mother’s, but past tense shows current weakness from grief “Sellotape bandaged around my hand” • Bandage shows wounds • Sticks them together one last time- cat hairs are removed, no more reason to stay • Claustrophobic feeling- stuck in the domestic role, can’t go and protect the son “Blackthorns of your hair”- religious connotations of Jesus on the cross, sacrificed for the country- metaphor for the son History Boys "Enemy of education" war metaphor and alliteration, opposition between true understanding of literature and grades only used shallowly “Cheat’s Visa” "a fact of life" indisputable and unchangable, in opposition with Irwin's views on history (truth does not matter to him until now?) Drummer Hodge: Intertextuality, Tom Hardy (the poet) represents Hector, sympathising with the ordeal of the youth, Drummer Hodge represents the Boys, thrown into the chaos of life without proper guidance "She's my western front" war metaphor objectifies Fiona, personal pronoun further expresses how women were seen as objects to be owned “... all the other shrunken violets you people line up" [you people] segregates gay people, [shrunken violets] derogatory language "Some of the literature says it will pass" looking to literature for solace and comfort during a sexuality crisis "All literature is consolation" Dakin changes his mind on literature symbolising him changing to Irwin's side. No need to look for solace in literature when he can pursue Irwin Parallels with "all knowledge is precious" from Hector - A.E. Housman, one of the first intertextualities and used in the intro to establish his character “cunt-struck” “a cunt”- Mrs Lintott repeats the colloquialism “cunt” twice, to describe Dakin as “cunt-struck” and Headmaster as “a cunt”. This is the hardest swear in the play and is used show that it wasn’t a slip of the tongue, and to break down stereotypes of women being gentle and passive “history is women following behind with the bucket” - her big scene about women in history at the end of the play (which is typical for Alan Benett’s plays such as “Kafka’s Dick”) so it would be recent and stay in the audience’s mind when the show ended Irwin intro as politician in the future "etc., etc." while talking abt freedom- that man gives no fucks about freedom really, just waffling on (first impression for the audience too!!) Parallel with Holocaust debate- Lockwood uses the SAME EXACT PHRASE while talking abt how the holocaust was bad, (dismissiveness of mass genocide? in this education system? it’s more likely than you think) then goes on to argue that they should be unique with their arguments- Irwin passed on thr mindset even on such an important subject Hector is set up to be looking cool and all (motorcycle scene dramaticness, greek name connotations, fav teacher) but is absolutely uncool when we get to know him- purposeful? "studied eccentricity" and all. clinging onto youth? Posner is actually rather helpful as the "dictionary person" bc i doubt the audiences know what "otiose" means SCRIPPS IS THE MOST RELIGIOUS ONE AND CLOSEST TO POSNER it can dismantle the idea that religion is against queerness Irwin didnt know how nietzche was pronounced bc from what we know of him he would call Dakin out on that

I recently started listening to Isaiah and Hunter on Creepcast and have been following Wendigoon’s cryptid iceberg on YouTube for a while. Thier perspectives on the strange and unnatural are a valued escape from a reality that can seem, at times, monotonous.
While listening to the podcast I was reminded of one of my own encounters with the unexplained. My story is brief, and much of the details have been lost to the fog of a nearly thirty-year-old memory, but the finer points are crystal clear and should compensate for what is lacking elsewhere. I know much of the content they cover may involve creative liberties or outright fabrications, but I must iterate that everything that follows is an honest account of actual events. This is not just a fan’s foray into creepypasta fiction; the absence of the outlandish should lend to that. Still, there are only two people who can corroborate my tale and one of them would surely not. I was born and raised in South Louisiana. When I was five my family moved to Baker, a small town just north of Baton Rouge. We lived in a modest house in a modest neighborhood, and, in retrospect, it was an idyllic place to grow up. Part of the reason it was great was the company. Our next-door neighbors had a daughter just a little younger than I, and it did not take long for us to become inseparable. Samantha and I spent most of our free time together. We would play hide-and-seek, jump on the trampoline, swim, and play with Legos. One of our favorite games was pretending we were the dejected indentured servants of a brutal taskmaster known only as “Bossy.” We were “Bubbies,” and our mission was escape. At some point, around age seven, I convinced my dad to build us a treehouse in the woods behind our house. It was a simple platform about eight feet high suspended between four trees with guard rails that lasted about a week before we decided we didn’t need them. The treehouse became our canvas. We perfected our fort for years with makeshift buttresses, chicken wire, salvaged wood and tin. It was truly apocalyptic. Naturally, the woods became our home, and the treehouse was our base of operations. I’m not sure how old we were then, I’d estimate between eight and ten, but one nondescript evening we ventured into the woods on some exploratory mission as we had countless times before. We set out some hundred-odd yards northeast of the treehouse. “Northeast” insofar as my young mind could reason what direction was in those woods. We came upon a bog that we referred to as “the gulley.” The gulley was occasionally awash with rainwater and would sometimes dry to a mushy clay. That day it was clay. I don’t know who saw it first, but we discovered a wooden cross on the bank of the gulley. It made no sense. We had been there before and had never seen a grave, but the wood of the cross was decayed at the edges as if it had been there for years. There was a date scrawled in black ink on the lateral beam, but I only remember “October.” Of course, this presented us with a unique opportunity. What adventurous child when met with the prospect of buried remains would choose to do anything other than exhume them? We ran back to my house to grab a shovel from my dad’s shed. I excitedly began digging about a foot in front of the cross when we made it back. The ground was soft and did not offer much resistance. I can’t recall how far I had to dig before hitting pay dirt, but I distinctly remember the sound when I did. It was the sharp “clink” of breaking glass muted by the surrounding clay.
We carefully unearthed the object that had broken. It was one of a collection of buried mason jars. The jars themselves were unremarkable, the type anyone’s grandmother would have stored in a pantry filled with pickled okra or peach preserves. What they contained, however, was both gruesome and horrifying. We could only describe them as “chunks of meat.” The pale, roughly inch-and-a-half thick fleshy meat bits were floating in a red, semi-translucent liquid. The squishy pieces of diced remains elicited shocked and disgusted reactions from both of us, though I cannot remember what exactly was said. I’m sure it was some variation of “Bruh!” “Gross!” or “What is that!?” It may have been nerves, but it did not take long for us to decide to abandon our excavation and conceal our discovery. I could not refrain from one final bit of mischief, however. We stole the cross as a souvenir. We kept it hidden behind a pile of junk at the rear of my house. The last I saw of it was some weeks later when my dad had stuffed it in a bin with the rest of the trash. I didn’t say anything. At some point prior Samantha and I had resolved to tell no one about the jars. We naively feared we would be punished for digging up a grave, though it now seems obvious that would not have been the main concern. I mentioned that there were two people who could corroborate this story. The first was, of course, Samantha. The second I had not yet met and would not meet for what seemed many months later, but time moves slowly when you are young. It could have been only weeks. It was some time in the afternoon on a typically warm and humid Louisiana day and I had embarked once more into the woods for reasons I cannot recall. Perhaps the shade drew me in. Samantha must not have been home because she would likely have accompanied me otherwise. I was never bothered to be alone in the woods. I knew the trails well and was confident in that knowledge. It had been years since I had gotten lost in them. The woods were comfortable to me (even after our discovery.) The only time I really felt fear out there was when I nearly stepped on a snake… and this day. I can’t place exactly where I was when I saw him, and I can’t honestly attribute menace to his demeanor. The memory is too far gone. But I remember he was wearing camouflage from the neck down. I didn’t see a weapon. He was average height and build for a man who I would estimate was in his early to mid-thirties. The only other notable feature was his distinct, medium-length red beard. We noticed each other at the same moment, but he spoke first. He said something like this; “Hey, have you seen a wooden cross around here? I buried my dog in these woods.” I can’t help but wonder if the dread on my face was apparent. I’ve never been adept at lying, but I knew in that instance that I had better be convincing. “No. I haven’t seen anything” was my reply. I suppose he took me at my word, because the exchange ended shortly after. I walked until I was out of his line-of-sight, then ran. I ran the whole way home. I read somewhere once that every time you remember an event from your life the memory is tainted by the thoughts and feelings you had at the time you remembered them. This can happen so often that the memory itself becomes unreliable, like the final phrase at the end of a game of telephone. The idea that what we saw may have been misinterpreted has crossed my mind, but I still cannot conjure a satisfying explanation for those events. The most frustrating thing is that we will probably never know. Samantha and her family moved away a few years later. Me and mine moved not long after. We tried to keep in touch, but distance is a cruel mistress. We have since moved on, gotten married and pursued our careers, but every once in a while, we both remember the meat chunks.
2024.05.18 19:18 AthrekGuide to the Optimal Questing Route, First Half
Hello everyone! I know it's been a long time but with the DLC on the way and work slowing down for a bit, I've decided to start writing guides again. With the DLC a month away, I've decided to focus my efforts on guides that will help prepare for the DLC and have a few others that are just about ready as well. With all of the patches over the years, the questlines have been changes fairly significantly. It is now nearly impossible to "break" any questlines by accident but many of my previous guides were made to avoid that happening. Given that, they have lost some of their purpose and aren't as optimal as they previously were. I have went through the game again and learned all of the new tricks to optimize the questlines so that you can take the least amount of steps possible to receive all of the questlines best rewards. So what this guide is meant for is to help with getting characters through the game with all of the unique quest rewards as optimally as possible. So there should be nothing unnecessary within this guide and it will take you from location to location without consideration for level or build. Given that, you may need to do side objectives and leveling for your personal run, but you can just continue following from where you left off. Due to Reddit's character limit, I have to separate this guide into two parts but both halves are already available. I hope everyone enjoys the guide and please let me know if you have any suggestions, fixes or feedback!
