It's my favorite song on the album, and there are official Korean lyrics available on the Bandcamp, but there are no English translations for the song online. I really want to to learn the parts to search for peace by McCoy tyner off the real McCoy album but i can't find a transcription. Is there a certain place i could maybe look? I've searched online and can't find one anywhere

I have a large MP3 collection and sometimes can't remember what I do and don't have. I'm looking for a way to export the Artist and Album MP3 tag fields to create a list I can view online on any device of my collection. I'll ultimately probably put in in Google Sheets but I figure if I can just get it exported to a CSV file then I should be able to import it anywhere. I use Strawberry to play it on my Linux system, but haven't found an export capability.

Thank you all for the advice on my last couple posts. I really feel like I am beginning to understand some things I really needed to, and the advice I’ve gotten has really helped.
Just wanted to update some things, so I am not getting advice and encouragement under false pretenses, and just to thank you all for helping me take the steps I needed to take.
My story is posted on here, but I lied to bp about the story at first as well as on here. It was an online affair, we never met in person, but it lasted around 7 days total over the course of a month or two (very on and off talking) I TT for the past month to my bp which I am very ashamed of, I was truly just a coward. No excuses. The whole truth is out to him now, and I want to be honest here as well.
Yesterday I spoke with AP. I wrote him a letter explaining everything, and met with him in person to make sure everything was deleted and to tell him I’m going to be telling his girlfriend in a week. I then blocked him again.
I sent bp photos of the letter, and an audio recording of the conversation. My mom went with me so there was no questions of what happened as well.
Bp is expressed to me how grateful he was for this, and that I made sure he could see and hear everything as well. He said “no matter what happens with us, that really healed a part of my soul”
Obviously was great to hear that I’m doing right by him, but even better is that it felt great for me to do for me. AP is and always has been a looming evil in my life, and it felt like a weight was lifted off my chest in bolting that door shut. Of course, I wish i would have done this sooner, but I am glad I have now.
I also sent him my Reddit profile so he could read these posts, he helped me realize that I lied even on here, and I don’t want to lie anymore in any regard. I don’t know if he is following up on these posts or not, but I’m okay with it either way. I’m just sharing my heart here, and that’s something I want him to see.
I’ve been making videos over the past month of me talking about everything I’ve learned and everything I’m feeling and I shared that album with him as well. He said the only reason he is still speaking to me is because he saw my honesty in those videos, and helped explain to me that that is the standard from here on out when I talk to him.
Absolutely everything is on the table now, and nothing is tethering me to the past anymore. Everything is out. I’m not sure what the future holds and that is still really scary, but I am confident that whatever happens will be right for both of us.

I am a black woman. I have been 19 for a little over a month now. I was raised in, and live in, an area with a very low black population.
My preference has changed a lot over time, which is something I’ve more recently started to think about.
The first crushes I remember having ever had, like when I was preschool-elementary school aged, were on Michael J Fox (when he was Marty in “Back to the Future,” may be more accurate to suggest that I had a crush on Marty mcfly,) and Michael Jackson (my parents had his music videos on DVD. I’ve never liked the way he looked in the 2000s, but I think when I was little I liked the way he looked in the 70s-90s. However, in sixth grade, I remember remarking that I thought 80s Michael Jackson was more attractive than 70s Michael Jackson when chatting with my former best friend, who had the opposite opinion.)
My parents have also always liked to tease about how I “dated” a white boy when I was three, claiming that I liked how blue his eyes were. What I find interesting now that I am an adult is that me liking blue eyes and blonde hair (the combination that I believe the kid I liked when I was three had, though it was much too long ago and I don’t remember how he looked or really anything about him at all,) is something that I’m not sure has entirely gone away.
I say this only because in 11th grade, I was already fascinated by/somewhat attracted to a boy I sat next to in Statistics because of his blue eyes and blonde hair, even though I hadn’t yet seen him without a mask (and when I did see him without a mask, I still liked his appearance. To me, he was a little above average.) There was also a mixed race (1/2 black 1/2 white) boy who was considered to be conventionally attractive by most of the grade who I was very attracted to in 12th grade (fawning over him in the halls kind of attracted, which is rare for me,) and he had both light skin and colored eyes (I no longer remember his eye color, though I’m certain it was blue or green.)
In 4th grade, I had a crush on a Filipino boy who I was no longer attracted to by high school (he was a nice person, though, which was partly why I’d liked him so much.) In 6th grade, I had a crush on a 1/2 white 1/2 Japanese boy (he didn’t look fully phenotypically Asian, but didn’t look “white” either. I don’t know what I thought he was. By the time we were in high school and I was perhaps more familiar with different phenotypes, I could see how he was mixed with Asian. But off the top of my head, he may have looked more similar to a Mexican/Latino person.) In 7th or 8th grade, I was either attracted to or had a crush on an Asian girl (she was not considered above average, she had apparently been teased about her looks in elementary school - she was at a healthy weight, at the time her look worked for me but at some point in high school I saw her again and she was subjectively unattractive to me.)
In 10th grade during quarantine, I started to crush on an older above average looking black man who had been kind to me in 9th grade (in this case, the attraction may have actually been reciprocated.) I also had a crush on an average looking white girl, was overweight (may have been a little below average, I don’t know. I also liked her in 10th grade. I was very lonely and depressed in 10th grade.)
I had a crush on David Bowie throughout all of middle school. I remember listening to his albums “Hunky Dory” alongside “Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.” I loved Jareth from “Labyrinth.” (I was also a big fan of stranger things in middle school, and thought Finn Wolfhard was cute during the second season. I hadn’t really noticed Caleb McLaughlin and found him attractive until I became an adult.)
I will note that I was very attracted to Tim Curry’s Dr Frank N Furter maybe four-five months ago after seeing “rocky horror picture show” for the first time, even though I’m not really attracted to most white men anymore. It was just the energy he exuded.
I had my longest strongest crush on another light skinned mixed race (1/2 black 1/2 white) boy in high school, although he was a bad person. He was slightly above average physically, though he became average by 11th grade and I no longer liked him because he had criticized my appearance behind my back. He had dark brown eyes and I was very into him between 9th-10th grade (crush continued after online schooling had begun,) because I felt he was the only person who noticed my depression, and liked that he wasn’t dismissive of me yet (he later on sort of became dismissive of me after I messed up during a public discussion. I think he’d been curious about me because a friend of his told him I’d been known as smart in middle school.)
In 11th grade, I dated an overweight black boy who I had regarded as average (he was dark skinned. Some may subjectively regard him as a little below average due to the weight and racism, although I remember thinking he had a very common looking face, straight teeth.) I do regret the relationship, he was a bad person. But he was my first sexual experience and this is likely why I know now that if I have another sexual experience, I’d ideally like for it to be with a darker skinned black man (or a Mexican/Latino man, just someone who I suppose has darker skin than the average white man.) It’s strange because before 11th grade I didn’t tend to think sexually about men often, it used to be women but I haven’t felt attraction toward a woman in three years.
I know that I am not attracted to most white men, as someone who lives around a lot of them.

Let me preface by stating that I love this sub! I find Taylor's relationship with Travis to be completely fabricated and dishonest, and I'll be lucky if they last less than a year. It all sounds fake, PR influenced, and just for the benefit of putting Travis in front of cameras and for Taylor to show this newly "sporty/different" side of her after her breakup with Joe. Hopefully the mods here can see my post history (I was decently active on swiftlyneutral and I can see through the flaws and problems that Taylor showcases in her personal life, while still enjoying her music as a casual listener).
Anyways to my point: my girlfriend is obsessed with Taylor. Almost to a mood altering parasocial levels of Stanning her. If Taylor is rightfully criticized for X (take your pick: carbon emissions, relationship w/ Matty Healy, Brazil's show, Fake PR relationship) she will be in a bad mood for a few days until it dies down, because Taylor's problems always get swept under the rug. Recently we were discussing TTPD and she mentioned how "The Alchemy" and "So high school" are so so so good that she believes it's proof that Taylor's next album, which she heavily believes will be about Travis Kelce, will be a fantastic, amazingly written, chart topping new Era album that will be a highlight of Taylor's career.
I'm sorry but in a whole DOUBLE album that you originally alluded to being the "takedown" of Joe, the guy who you were with for 6 years, you have: 1. A song where you mention his depression and mental health being reasons for why you couldn't stay with him 2. The majority of the album being about Matty, who you fantasized about so badly and who you wanted to be with SO BAD that you basically cucked your current PR boyfriend and 3. Two songs about the aforementioned PR BF, one being decent (the alchemy) which wholly focuses on the only personality trait that Travis exudes (loud football jock) and the other being an extremely badly written song about you guessed it, high school (the mental age that both Travis and Taylor are stuck in).

Also, not to get too technical but just have to say it, Taylor and Travis (34) would have been 15-17 during 2005-2007. You could only play two player GTA until GTA 4 came out with online play (in late 2008). Why would they be playing GTA instead of idk, Madden? A game you can actually take turns playing? To me, it just reaffirms that Travis has literally no personality. He is the walking embodiment of a guy who only likes football, getting drunk, and plays video games ( not sure if it's confirmed, but I'm pretty sure he still hasn't beaten GTA San Andreas, the plane missions are too hard for him IYKYK). Him having no personality also reaffirms how fake and PR this relationship is!!
TLDR; GF thinks two bad songs on Taylor's new Album = They are in it for the long run and next album will be a classic. Lyrics show otherwise. Their relationship Is a PR stunt, and I would like to sit in as a ghost on one of their conversations to see how many brain cells Travis can make me lose in 20 minutes.
Would like to add: this relationship is clearly just to keep attention away from Taylor and Matty Healy, right? Because her being with him would ruin her brand and public figure image that her PR team has been carefully manufacturing ever since 2016, right?

Anyone know any good physical locations in the north of England with a decent doom (and metal in general tbh) selection? Always preferred browsing a brick and mortar store as opposed to online, and there's some ok shops around Liverpool/surrounding area but always lacking in metal and especially doom (lucky to get one or two albums). hey there! my name is sam, and ive been a long time fan of gwen stefani! as a kid, in the 2000's i remember very clearly seeing a music video for the song bubble pop electric, i know there wasnt ever an official music video made, and so ive been on this wild chase to try and recover it, there were lost media discussions in the past, but no clear answers, i thought id try asking here, to see if anyone remembers.
proof of the video existing, is in the background video on stage, during gwen stefani's live harijuku concert, some clips of the video made for the song, can be seen in the back.
on youtube, there does exist a fan recreation of the song, and while very close, there are some major details missing, that do exist in the official one
from memmory here is everything i can remember from the music video from back in the day : the video begins of course with gwen stefani getting dressed and dolled up for johnny vulture, she can be seen putting on lipstick, changing her clothes multiple times, in sync with the music, same goes for her shoes in one scene aswell (this scene was well recreated in the fan remake on youtube). johnny vulture in the music video was eithere wearing green for his shirt, or his muscle car was gween, but that was a key detail i remember in the music video aswell. inside of the music video, often many times they say "uh oh, in the back seat" and the camera has gwen stefanis backup dancers covering their faces emberessed when the line is said. another key detail inside of the music video was the chihuahua heard backing at the end, i remember very vividly seeing the dog backing at johnny vultures car after he drives away. also mr stefani (mr fani) is seen in the video, reading a news paper while in a chair, waiting to see who was at the door, and greets johnny vulture, also i think her mom was in the kitchen during this but is off screen. after wgen is ready, she rushes down the stairs and kisses her dad on the cheek, who is standing in the door way with johnny, before rushing past, and heading off in johnnys muscle car.
thats as much as i think i can genuinly remember, and it really shcoks me that such an awesome music video got somehow scrubbed from existince online, but i hope to one day find and recover it for others! also the ammount of effort that whent into an unreleased video like that, leaves me still very confused aswell. most info i found online is that johnny vulture was the producer for that song, and he was a major part of outkast at the time, and gwen stefani was stepping into making her own albums, so it may have some legal reasoning, but i really dont know for sure. but as for any other info, it may have been released in other parts of the world, but there no other info on that. if anyone knows anything,please let me know! id love to find out

Context

I've had my eye on a pair of R.M. Williams chelsea boots for around 2 years, and I finally decided to take the plunge. I'd call myself a beginner in the welted shoe world, but recently, I've been getting into higher quality, resoleable pairs of shoes.
I live in San Francisco, where casual style is the norm, but I'm not a huge fan of the Patagonia-and-sneakers look, so I've been purchasing better-quality and "dressier" shoes. I wouldn't go as far as saying any of these shoes are an investment, but I do consider the long-term environmental benefit of buying high-quality shoes that can be repaired.
This pair represents a few firsts for me:

• My first chelsea boots
• My first wholecuts
• My only pair with yearling leather (I have calf leather shoes from other brands)

Purchase & Sizing

I waited until a recent trip to London to purchase these shoes. RMW has had a store in New York, and I go there several times a year, but they are a bit cheaper in the UK once you consider the exchange rate and tax. The price was £399, VAT included, which came out to $497.75 when I purchased them. The price in New York City would be $539 + tax (8.875% or $47.16), bringing the total to $586.16. Since I knew I would be traveling to London and not declaring much else to customs when reentering the U.S., it made sense to wait.
All my other shoes have laces, and I just wasn't confident about how chelseas should fit, so I wanted to have someone size me in person. The sales rep in the London Soho store said there should be just a bit of heel slip initially, and you shouldn't feel any discomfort. This matches the fit guidelines on the RMW website.
My Brannock size is US 9C. Even though I have a narrow Brannock measurement, the best fit was an 8H in R.M. Williams' UK-based sizing. H is their wide size—I felt 8G was squeezing my toes. These shoes have a narrow chiseled toe box, so going wider makes sense.
I also tried 7.5H, and my heels "clicked in" to the shoes at that size, but they were not as comfortable overall as 8H.
For comparison, here are some other shoes I own that I believe are sized right:

• Grant Stone Plain Toe Bluchers: 8.5D (US sizing)
• Beckett Simonon Morgen Trainers: 9 (US sizing)

The store threw in free shoe bags and a magazine. I'm not sure if you would get the shoe bags when ordering online.
The store initially sent me home with a pair that had definitely been tried on a number of times, as there was some creasing, and it looked like they had been conditioned too. I wasn't concerned as I would be creasing them in short order, but when I got them home, I noticed one of the shoes was wobbling a lot when placed on a flat table, and there was excess edge dressing on both shoes. Perhaps something that didn't totally pass QC but was good enough for sizing.
I returned to the store the next day explaining the wobbling and excess edge dressing. No questions asked, they got me a pair that had definitely never been worn. I could tell because there was no creasing and the leather finish was very matte. The initial pictures album is from the second pair I got after returning to the store.

1 Month Experience

My UK trip lasted for about a month after purchase, and I wore the Comfort Craftsmans approximately every other day, alternating with my Beckett Simonon Morgen trainers. I walk a fair amount, so I've already put a lot of miles on these shoes.
Fit: The shoes initially felt loose compared to what I normally wear. I am in the habit of tying my shoes pretty snug, and you have no control over this with chelseas. The heel slip did mostly dissipate after a few wears, and I definitely think these are the right fit now. Walking around, they are still a tad looser than I am used to, but I feel that any tighter would cause discomfort. The leather has rolled and creased a bit now, and I think it looks good.
Comfort: Everyone describes these shoes as comfortable, but what does comfort even mean? Comfort Craftsmans have a rubber sole and memory foam insert. They feel a lot like wearing sneakers, but more plush (For reference, I mostly wear gum/cup sole sneakers and haven't tried anything like Adidas Ultraboost). Walking in them all day, my feet definitely still get tired, but never painful, unlike basically any other pair of shoes I've owned.
The leather is relatively soft and flexible on these shoes, although I don't feel it's any more supple than my Grant Stones or Beckett Simonons. Overall, the fact that the leather is so flexible and decently supple seems like a good choice for Chelsea boots.
Long-term, I wonder whether shoes with stacked leathecork soles that have molded to my feet (such as the Grant Stones) will actually be more comfortable, but there was never any period of pain associated with break in on the R.M. Williams, a far different experience from the Grant Stones. The only time I felt discomfort in these shoes was on the 10-hour flight to the US, where I felt the toe box was getting a tad tight. Normally, feet swell on planes, so this is acceptable.
Care: I used a small Allen Edmonds horsehair brush daily, spot cleaned with a damp cloth when necessary, and used these shoe trees starting a few days after purchasing the shoes. I was surprised how well the trees with the flexible spring work in these boots, because the trees "push up" on the instep instead of just inserting straight into the boot. You can see this in the 1-month album.
I conditioned the boots with Bick 4 after about a month. They are a tad shinier now with the conditioning, and I think they look good now, but they are still relatively matte compared to my other leather shoes.
I got a very small scuff on the front of one shoe from concrete stairs. And I tend to scuff the inside quarter panel against the opposite shoe when walking. They are hardly noticeable at a distance. Conditioner smoothed the scuffs, especially the front one, but they are still visible, so polishing may be in order. However, these shoes toe the line between dress and casual, get-them-dirty, so I might just leave the scuffs until I get a worse one.

Value

I was fortunate enough to attend the Super Trunk Show in London, and I was speaking to a vendor that offers very competitively-priced shoes. He commented on my R.M.s, saying they are great shoes but are milking it on the price these days.
For what they are, I totally agree that they are on the expensive side. You are definitely paying for the brand and the fact that they are made in Australia. You can absolutely find pairs of equal quality at a lower price, or more refined pairs at a similar price.
But long-term, I don't think it matters too much. They will clearly last a long time. R.M. Williams offers repairs and resoles using their original parts, and of course, a local cobbler could also work on them.
These shoes are such an easy choice to just throw on without thinking too much. You'll look decently smart and feel comfortable. The overall cost per wear will be very low.
So, that's my one-month impression of the R.M. Williams Comfort Craftsman. Let me know if you have any thoughts or questions. And any tips are appreciated. Thanks.

i feel so sad for many newer and younger music groups nowadays bc it seems they have to do so much to get by or to get noticed and someone else more popular will always be in competition bc so much music is digitalised media thats been thrown at everyone so its less about music and more about who can outdo who. who can be more expensive than who. who can have more wealth than who. etc. its like they cant have one flaw out of place or they cant drop their characters bc society will be watching their every move. they wont ever know what it was like away from the internet and a lot of older kpop idols seem to envy the way these newer kpop groups can gain more success in shorts amount of times. I do still think its possible outside of the internet but it would require more effort on the groups parts yet somehow I think I would still find out about them someway or other.
it isnt like its impossible for them to still be successful without the use of social media but they too would have to adapt if our devices were ever taken away from us when you think how much of music has been built around tiktok. Many big named groups from olden times are still around making music today
So my question is is tiktok really the only way to genuinely find new music groups? I would have loved to have done musicy if I had any shred of talent but I refuse to subject myself to the modern day scrutiny that tiktok seems to hold against its younger groups if they so much as step a toe out of line or drop their character
if im being honest youtube is the only way most people found what music they liked but I wonder many times what would happen if we really didnt have all that we had today would the groups of today still be known? in that sense I also miss picking up cds bc most cars are either too expensive and filled with digital features I do not need nor want and lack of cd players makes albums pointless in todays world
I went to tesco not that long ago as we rarely shop there but I couldnt bare how bare the empty physical media shelf was, more video games than dvds or cds. I tried to find this cd of blues and rythem tracks but could not I presume it had been removed bc they didnt sell out. the last dvd I probably will ever buy was the elvis one.
But the thunderstorm that cut our power out got me thinking that if we didnt have modern tech id have to find something to entertain myself by then i remember we used to have portable dvd players rhat didnt need electricity to be plugged in. My only non electric device is my vintage sewing machine that only cost me less than £80 it does all i need it to if i wanted to make a piece of clothing or garment yet most sewing patterns are digital nowadays but i do find some good deals in charity shops for vintage patterns again I bitterly regret not doing something physical with my hands like sewing when I was a kid. schools should push for more physical activities or make kids put their phones down for an hour and do some colouring
now if we could get rid of bills and taxes we could somewhat still live simpler and happier adult lives but i think social media has done its damage already and its too late to go back to simpler times, its too complex tto get decent work and its too longwinded to go through the education system and i have to have a lot of money to get something decent as an adult out of society
even when you look at all the latest gadgets its all plastic or poorly designed to break so easily in time or just by an accident and so much looks so similar like every phone has no character to it and honestly im just using my tablet these days i dont care for phones anymore
no one really bothered to text me and since lockdown i barely have any social life of my own outside close relatives so i do not need a phone hence why i think my life will be rather short there isnt much id particularly care about as i cannot go back in time and explore what older generations got to experience
whilst society does exclaim that life isnt over after xyz age or the world is our oyster or life is too short so do the most you can and or its never too late
i do think it does become too little too late for a lot of us we are either too old or not young enough for something or other and we are in a society where a lot is placed on how every other person and their granny is now a certified internet star who get to have that "viral" moment probably because they did well early on but that wasnt the case for us all
people often tell me on here to stop complaining so much but how can i not? so much of digital media is about getting our reactions over and over again its mentally draining to have to keep acting like its so normal of society, peopoe dont even look where theyre walking these days bc devices surprise surprise take up most of their eye sight
if only a few of us didnt use devices but everyone else around us was how are we meant to not feel fomo? how are we meant to feel less pressured to fit in online when the rest of society is online?
i think i was really born in the wrong generation and thats why i keep having existential crisis bc there isnt much for people my age to realistically do if we fail once thats it we dont ever get a redo so we have to make do with whatever situations we were given at a younger age and we are then forced to adapt to it over and over without any real knowledge
people just be using these platforms to holler mean unhelpful shit at other users so what good is that meant to do? if no one is accountable for the way society is then im ready to check out of it. im done
