2024.06.02 08:19 Sheeple9001 Terror Lunar: Memecoin with a Purpose! Fair-launch + No Presale (TRLR on pump.fun)

šŸ˜±šŸŒ‘Terror Lunar

Introducing Terror Lunar (TRLR): A Crypto Project with a Purpose

Terror Lunar is more than just a meme coinā€”it's a movement to bring security and stability to the crypto community.

The Problem

Many top crypto projects lack proper security audits and load-testing, leaving them vulnerable to attacks and crashes. This is a critical issue, as a single breach can result in millions of dollars lost and irreparable reputational damage. In fact, some of the most popular projects on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko have not undergone thorough security audits, putting their users' assets at risk.

The Solution

The aim of Terror Lunar is to attract enough attention and build a substantial funding pool. This pool will then be used to finance load-testing and security audits for various projects within the Top 250 on CoinMarketCap or the Top 100 on CoinGecko.

The Importance of Load Testing and Security Audits

Load testing or performance testing is essential to simulate extreme conditions and identify weaknesses in a project's infrastructure. Without it, projects may crash or experience significant slowdowns during peak times (i.e. Solana network going down once a while), leading to user distrust and financial losses. Security audits are equally crucial, as they help identify vulnerabilities before malicious actors can exploit them.

The Barrier to Entry

As some of you already know, quality audits are not cheap. Blockchain security firms like Certik and SlowMist charge an arm and a leg for their services, which can be a huge barrier for smaller or newer projects. So it's critical to identify vulnerabilities before malicious actors can exploit them. A single breach can result in millions of dollars lost, not to mention the reputational damage.

Conclusion

So in short, the project goal is to fund security audits and load-testing for many popular crypto projects so we can bring TERROR to the crypto community!

2024.06.02 08:17 sanjeevpandeybharat How do we find guest posting vendors?

Finding guest posting vendors or services can be done through several methods:
  1. **Online Search**: Use search engines to look for guest posting services or agencies. You can use keywords like "guest posting service," "guest blogging agency," or "guest posting vendors" to find relevant results.
  2. **Social Media**: Platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook can be valuable for finding guest posting vendors. Look for groups or communities related to blogging, content marketing, or SEO where vendors might promote their services or where users share recommendations.
  3. **Content Marketing Forums**: Websites like Reddit's content_marketing or forums like Warrior Forum often have discussions and recommendations related to guest posting services.
  4. **Content Marketing Conferences or Events**: Attend industry events or conferences focused on content marketing, SEO, or digital marketing. You may meet vendors offering guest posting services or get recommendations from other attendees.
  5. **Referrals**: Ask other bloggers or website owners in your niche if they have used guest posting services and if they can recommend any vendors. Personal referrals can be one of the most reliable ways to find reputable vendors.
  6. **Online Marketplaces**: Some online marketplaces specialize in connecting businesses with freelance writers or guest posting services. Examples include Upwork, Freelancer, or Fiverr. However, be cautious and thoroughly vet the vendors before making a commitment.
  7. **Content Marketing Agencies**: Many content marketing agencies offer guest posting services as part of their offerings. Research and reach out to agencies that specialize in content creation and SEO to inquire about guest posting options.
When evaluating guest posting vendors, consider factors such as their reputation, the quality of websites they have access to, their pricing structure, their process for finding and pitching guest post opportunities, and any guarantees they offer regarding the quality and relevance of the posts. It's also essential to ensure that their practices align with Google's guidelines to avoid any negative impact on your website's SEO.

During my time sailing on the open seas, I encountered a predicament where my boat's batteries were not being charged properly. That's when I stumbled upon the Blue Sea 7621100 ml ACR Charging Relay. This ingenious device quickly solved my problem, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
The Blue Sea Charging Relay has an automatic charging system that manages the charging of two large battery banks, which was essential in my case. Additionally, it allows me to parallel my battery banks during emergency starting, providing me with that extra peace of mind while out at sea.
Another impressive feature was the 500 Ampere continuous rating, which supported my high-output alternators. This device truly proved its worth by handling the heavy-duty charging tasks with ease.
However, there was one minor issue I encountered - the dual sensing system that senses the charge on both battery banks sometimes caused a bit of confusion while troubleshooting. But overall, the pros outweighed the cons, and I wholeheartedly recommend the Blue Sea 7621100 ml ACR Charging Relay to any sailor in need of a reliable battery management solution.

šŸ”—Alpha Wire 2844/7 Black Hook-Up Wire (24AWG, 304.8m)

https://preview.redd.it/j3j1u6c5p34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=97c62f850a237c37eb6f15a071d9d5c26620aa60
The Alpha Wire 2844/7 BK001 hook-up wire is the perfect solution for your electrical needs. It's a 24AWG stranded copper wire that's silver-coated for enhanced conductivity.
The black PTFE jacket provides an excellent insulating layer, making it durable and resistant to wear and tear. The wire is compact, with a 0.036" diameter and a thickness of just 0.006", allowing for easy installation without compromising on its strength. And with a voltage rating of 250V, you can rest easy knowing that it's perfectly designed to handle most household appliances.
I've found that not only does it work well in my daily life, but it's also quite reliable in terms of durability. Overall, this 2844/7 BK001 hook-up wire from Alpha Wire is a top-notch product that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a reliable hook-up wire.

šŸ”—ACR Olas Core Base Station and Mob Alarm System: MOB Alert with Ultra-Bright LED and Audible Alarm

https://preview.redd.it/wlecdi06p34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b800e5142af720f1ec92550a3f19845540f0f8d5
I recently had the chance to try out the ACR Olas Core Base Station and Mob Alarm System, and I must say, it's a game-changer for boaters. This small yet powerful device has saved me on more than one occasion. Say goodbye to those "Man Overboard" panics and hello to a reassuring safety net for your crew.
One thing that stood out to me was the base station's ability to connect with up to 15 wearable or float transmitters. It's like having a virtual lifeline for your crew, all within arm's reach. I particularly love the option to connect to the ACR Olas mobile app, which provides directional screens and essential MOB positioning prompts during recovery operations.
However, there were a few things I wish were different. For example, the device could be a bit more user-friendly, especially for people who may not be comfortable using technology. Also, I found the wearable transmitters to be a bit bulky, which might be an issue for those who want a sleeker look. But overall, the ACR Olas Core Base Station and Mob Alarm System certainly has my seal of approval.

šŸ”—ACR HydroFix EPIRB Release Unit: Seamless Emergency Beacon Release

https://preview.redd.it/57x7v0h6p34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff1d8c07162364b1500a9a3a63945bc6e500b675
I recently had the chance to try out the ACR Sea Shelter unit, part of the HydroFix Hydrostatic Release Unit family, and let me tell you, it truly lives up to its reputation as a reliable and user-friendly device.
One of the standout features of this unit is its compatibility with various ACR EPIRB categories. I found the installation process to be incredibly smooth, thanks to the included ACR Sea Shelter, Sea Shelter2, and Sea Shelter3 brackets. These brackets made fitting the unit onto my EPIRB a breeze.
Another great aspect of this release unit is its lack of reliance on battery, blade, or pyrotechnic device to release the beacon when an emergency occurs. The design is built for a quick, seamless, and dependable release in such situations.
However, I did notice that this product is date-stamped and must be replaced every two years from the date of installation or four years from the date of manufacture. While this might seem like a minor inconvenience, it's a good incentive to ensure your device is always up-to-date and functioning at its best.
Overall, my experience with the ACR Sea Shelter unit was very positive. The ease of installation, reliable release mechanism, and compatibility with various EPIRBs make it a valuable investment for anyone looking to ensure their safety at sea. Highly recommended!

šŸ”—Compact, Resilient Personal Locator Beacon with Return Link Service

The ACR ResQLink View RLS beacon I've been using in my outdoor escapades is a remarkably compact and robust device. It's been meticulously designed, tested, and engineered to withstand even the most extreme environmental conditions. This beacon is also buoyant, which gives it an added edge in watery adventures.
One feature that really stands out is the Return Link Service (RLS) functionality. It's reassuring to know that if I ever need help, my distress message will be received, and my location detected, giving me peace of mind. The device also has a handy digital display that provides live status updates, and with no subscription needed, I don't have to worry about hidden costs.
The battery life is impressive, with a 5-year lifespan and an operational life of 28 hours. However, it's worth mentioning that the device is quite lightweight, which might affect its overall durability. But considering its excellent features and performance, I'd say the ResQLink View RLS is a top choice for anyone seeking a personal locator beacon.

šŸ”—Raco 2844 Metallic Cast Compression Connector for EMT Conduit

https://preview.redd.it/swmbwq67p34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9406a84d6abaf3b8ae7e37fc7cd81a6515416208
The Raco 2844 Cast Uninsulated Compression, aka the Acr Electronics 2844, is a meticulously crafted conduit fitting that boasts an impressive 5.0 rating out of 16 reviews. Designed for EMT conduit, this connector offers a natural finish and robust die-cast zinc construction.
As someone who's been on the receiving end of this product, their CSA and UL listed standards left me confident with the quality of the build. The 2.19 inch overall length and 3.5 inch trade size make this connector a versatile option for your conduit fittings, while the compression connector design provides secure and concrete-tight connections. The ease of wrench installation is also a major plus, as it ensures a snug fit without any hassle.
However, I should note that this connector is non-insulated, so it may not be the best option for certain applications where insulation is a requirement. Additionally, the connector's zinc material may be subject to slight corrosion over time, which could slightly hinder its longevity. Nonetheless, the Raco 2844 Cast Uninsulated Compression is a reliable and efficient conduit fitting, perfect for those seeking a solid, wrench-installed connection in their electrical projects.

šŸ”—Alpha Wire 2844/7 BR001 Hook-Up Wire - 24AWG, Brown, 305M Cable

https://preview.redd.it/9d5e9gk7p34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8c7e9b72b1d040ac5bc56663d7684b3a59f0804
I've been using the Alpha Wire 2844/7 BR001 Hook-Up Wire for a while now, and it's been a game-changer in my daily life. The stranded copper, silver-coated conductor and PTFE jacket insulation make it a reliable and durable option, perfect for hooking up my electronic devices.
The 24 AWG wire gauge and 305m length have made it easy to work with, and I appreciate the flexibility it provides. The brown jacket insulation has a nice touch and is easy to spot in my messy workspace.
However, one thing I've noticed is that the voltage rating of 250V might not be suitable for all applications, so I had to double-check to make sure it was compatible with my devices.
Overall, the Alpha Wire Hook-Up Wire is a reliable and convenient solution for my electronics needs, and I highly recommend it for others looking for a high-quality wire.

šŸ”—Weather-Resistant Audio Intercom with Hands-Free Loudspeaking

https://preview.redd.it/iwf03qx7p34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9ec4c2c0665ec78774b1e1c5f72024e2bb2066d5
Using the Alpha Communications AM612/04S in my daily life has been a breeze. The hands-free loudspeaking feature works really well, allowing me to communicate without any hassle. The weather-resistant mylar speaker is a standout feature, as it ensures the device performs optimally outdoors, withstanding various weather conditions. The self-wiping push button switches are convenient, providing hassle-free access to the intercom.
However, one downside I've encountered is the presence of plastic buttons and grille, which might not be as durable as I'd like it to be. Additionally, the decorative end caps, while visually appealing, seem a bit flimsy. I've also noticed that the slim-line surface-mount option can cause some installation challenges when mounting the device directly on the wall, despite it being easy to install overall.

šŸ”—Violet 24AWG Alpha Wire Hook-Up

https://preview.redd.it/0qdh67g8p34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14776e54330273e6d08353a6f1830dbd2598cc93
I was tasked with reviewing an Alpha Wire 2844/7 VI001, a Hook-Up Wire with a 24 AWG copper conductor, coated in violet PTFE insulation. I found the product both durable and visually appealing. The silver coating on the conductor gives it a professional look, while the violet insulation is easier to spot in a busy lab or workshop.
However, I did notice a minor downside. Connecting and disconnecting the wire from its terminals can sometimes be a bit tricky due to the conductor's small size. Despite this minor inconvenience, the wire held up well in my daily use, and I'd recommend it for anyone seeking a reliable and attractive hook-up wire solution in their electrical projects.

šŸ”—15A Rackmount Power Sequencer with 9 Outlets - ETL Listed, EMI/RFI Filtering, and Dual Activation Delay

https://preview.redd.it/bxeintk8p34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fcf3d45eac75a7bbb9559d105613e3e3bca93def
I recently had the chance to try out Lowell ACR-SEQ4-1509 15A Rackmount Power Sequencer, and I have to say, it made quite an impact in my daily life. The first thing that caught my eye was its compact design. It fits easily into any standard rack, and its steel chassis feels sturdy and reliable.
What stood out the most for me was the sequencer's ability to control the power flow to my devices. The front rocker switch effortlessly activated and deactivated the "switched" outlets in the back. The adjustable delay of 0.5 to 10 seconds between each step allowed me to tailor the power sequence to my specific needs.
But, the highlight of this product for me has to be the LED status indicators. They are color-coded and make it incredibly easy to understand the status of each powered device. The addition of the optional momentary remote switches is also a nice touch for those who require hands-free control.
The only downside I found was the lack of an on/off switch. While not a deal-breaker for me, it may be something others consider when purchasing this power sequencer.
Overall, Lowell ACR-SEQ4-1509 15A Rackmount Power Sequencer is a handy tool that makes managing my power connections a breeze. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their power distribution.

šŸ”—ACR ResQLink 400 Survival Kit with GPS and Distress Signal

As a boater, I've always been wary of traditional pyrotechnic flares for safety reasons. That's why, when I came across the ACR ResQFlare Electronic Distress Flare & Flag, I knew I had to give it a try. This innovative device has been designed to provide a safer, more reliable alternative to traditional pyrotechnic flares and can even be carried in lieu of them.
What stood out the most was the 360-degree visibility from over six miles away. Not only did it provide excellent visibility during emergencies, but it also had a significantly longer burn time than traditional flares. Its lightweight, compact size, and floatability made it incredibly easy to use ā€“ all while being fungus, corrosion, and water-resistant.
The ACR ResQFlare also comes with a distress flag, which, when carried together, qualifies as a replacement for traditional pyrotechnic flares. It's a perfect addition to any ditch bag, especially considering that it doesn't go out of date, saving me time and avoids the hassle of replacement.
One downside I faced was the lack of a lanyard attached to the device. While it floats upright in water, there are better options available that might be more visible in daylight compared to the ACR ResQFlare. However, as a safety device, the ACR ResQFlare still gets the job done without the risk of fire or injury.
In conclusion, the ACR ResQFlare Electronic Distress Flare & Flag is a great addition to any boater's safety arsenal. It's easy to use, safe, and provides excellent visibility during emergencies. Its longevity and added convenience make it a worthy choice as a replacement for traditional pyrotechnic flares.

2024.06.02 08:16 Various_Grass_2118 Found Out Husband Has Been Receiving Child Support And Has Been Using It For His Alcoholism Through A Secret Account

I 33(f) have been married to my husband 39(m) for 6 years. I will call him Eric. Eric had a child (Ted) from a previous relationship and we also share another. We have been together for 12 years.
When we met I was an extreme party girl (21) who loved liquor and Eric was a daily beer drinker at home long before I came along. I did not see it for what it really was at the time. I was happy to have a partner who was a great dad from what I could tell (like my step-dad) and who knew how to also have a good time. It is what made me notice him in the first place.
He had his son (Ted) 50% of the time. Because of me, Eric and I essentially lived a double life for the first 6 months we were together. When Ted was at his moms I would go to parties with my friends and bring Eric every weekend and sometimes once during the week. However, I was very attentive when we did have Ted and loved taking care of him.
6 months into our relationship I was in a dnd accident which was my fault. Through that process I found AA and met amazing people and tried to get Eric to come with me. After 2 times he didn't want to go anymore. Him not quitting with me caused a lot of arguements. Our relationship was getting more toxic so I broke things off 2.5 months after my dnd accident. A few weeks later my step-father suddenly passed away traumatically.
He was my anchor to this world and was my everything. He was the one parent who didn't abuse me and was ever present. I almost immediately reached out to Eric because I selfishly wanted to be what my step-dad was for me to Ted in my grief. They were all close. We got back together and moved in together because we were losing my family home.
After moving in together: Eric's drinking did not improve. 3 tallboys or a 6 pack or more a night. Nothing I did or said changed his response and defiance.
Over the next year, we had a newborn. I had an emergency c section and was going through some deep dark post partum depression. He drank and was disconnected but worked hard. It was so hard for me I wanted to end it all many nights but did not. A couple years later, Ted's mom had overdosed on heroin but was revived and sent away to rehab. We had him full time for 3 years.
I had grown up exponentially since I met Eric into a woman who I was proud to be. I changed my ways and was a diplomatic mother figure to Ted and mother to his sibling.
Shortly after Ted's mom was back in the picture (Eric and I were already married by this time) we found out that we were going to be stuck with a 44k debt of hers that Eric had co-signed on when they were still together. She told us we were fkd and was not going to get a penny out of her because she had no money. Our shared account was zeroed out on multiple occasions when we were pinching pennies to save up for a house. Eric somehow made it go away despite lawyers turning us down and Eric never gave me a real answer on what happened with it. Eventually we got a house. Our forever home.
Years later I am asked to sign documents to account for all income we receive as a couple. We were both to sign the documents. The document asked if we received child support, so I asked him knowing full well years ago he told me she stopped paying years before that. He reluctantly said yes and also reluctantly gave me the amount paid. Also saying the money almost immediately went to Ted's moms 44k debt. We were not in a position to talk deeply about it at that exact time. But noted it. I was asked to provide proof.
After a month of begging for the paperwork and offering simple solutions that were turned down. On the very last day we needed the paperwork I was given it. When I saw it, the math was not making sense. In asking probing questions and repeating them til I got a direct answer he accidentally let it slip that what money isn't going to the unpaid debt is going into his account he uses for his alcoholism and marijuana (legal in our state).
The only account I knew of was our shared account and the separate account I have in my name (that he knows of) to protect our savings from getting pulled in fear of our account getting zeroed out again due to the 44k unpaid debt. He then tried to backtrack but it was already done.
I went completely catatonic. I see money go out of our shared account from his drinking and cigarettes and pulling money for what I assume is for his Marijuana. It did cross my mind sometimes the money (which was a lot) still never seemed to add up to how much drinking and smoking I saw happen which was always a problem. Now it's an even larger problem.
What scares me the most is I feel nothing. I'm hurt but not in the intensity I should be. I know I should be angry, I know this is a HUGE act of betreyal. I'm even nice to him (because im not sure how I truly feel and because I dont want to scare the kids) and I found out only 24 hrs ago. I'm terrified for my future. I pity him.
He stopped drinking the day after Memorial Day because I gave him an ultimatum due to his drinking where he had weeks to prep. For many years he's been an absent father and I've handled all kid stuff. I've also gone to sleep alone almost every night for atleast 10 years because he'll pass out on the couch drinking. It has always been an issue and gets brought up by me almost nightly at times.
He says he's had the card and account for 3 years, I doubt it. I am having him write me a letter confessing everything, what I already know and what I don't know. I'm also having him write in it why he did it and why I should stay with him because I am at a loss.
Being disassoated from what's happening has never happened to me in my life. I've never gone catatonic before. I have always worn my heart on my sleeve. Being the only functioning adult in this relationship practically our whole relationship has already been so hard, but atleast I knew he would never cheat on me and I thought I knew I could trust him. I am questioning my entire life choices now but it still feels like I'm in a dream. That this isn't happening to me even though it is. He says he wants to go to AA with me by his side (I havent gone in many many years, havent needed it, I rarely drink because it reminds me of how much his drinking disgusts me), says he wants to get better, but I feel numb. I don't know what to do or think and hope I will find my answer when he confesses what he will in his letter. I have no idea if it will be enough. It feels like it's too little too late but my heart doesn't want to leave even though I know this empty feeling must mean it's broken. The thought of splitting up our family no longer feels like it's my choice. I'm afraid of losing my self respect if I don't, but I'm also afraid to leave, and leave Ted behind.

2024.06.02 08:15 Thick_Sea_1688 Elevating Audience engagement: The power of social media teams

In today's digital age, the significance of social media presence for businesses cannot be overstated. Among the myriad strategies employed, the deployment of dedicated social media teams stands out as a powerful tool for fostering audience engagement. Hereā€™s why:
  1. Real-Time Interaction: Social media teams serve as the frontline responders, ensuring prompt replies to comments, messages, and inquiries. This real-time interaction not only enhances customer satisfaction but also portrays the brand as attentive and responsive.
  2. Building Community: By actively engaging with followers, social media teams cultivate a sense of belonging and community around the brand. Through conversations, discussions, and even user-generated content, they create spaces where customers feel valued and connected.
  3. Humanizing the Brand: Behind every brand is a team of real people, and social media provides a platform to showcase this human side. Social media teams infuse personality, humor, and empathy into their interactions, humanizing the brand and building deeper emotional connections with the audience.
  4. Feedback Loop: Engaging with the audience goes beyond just responding to comments. Social media teams actively seek feedback, suggestions, and opinions from followers. This valuable insight not only helps in improving products or services but also strengthens the bond between the brand and its audience.
  5. Crisis Management: In times of crisis or negative feedback, social media teams play a crucial role in managing the situation effectively. Their ability to address concerns promptly, transparently, and empathetically can mitigate damage to the brand's reputation and even turn negative experiences into positive ones.
  6. Content Amplification: Social media teams are not just responders but also content creators and curators. By sharing engaging content, promotions, and behind-the-scenes glimpses, they keep the audience entertained and informed, driving traffic and increasing brand visibility.
  7. Staying Relevant: Social media platforms are ever-evolving, with new trends, features, and algorithms constantly emerging. A dedicated social media team stays abreast of these changes, adapting strategies and tactics to ensure the brand remains relevant and visible in the digital landscape.
In conclusion, the utilization of social media teams for audience engagement is not just a strategy but a necessity in today's competitive market. By fostering meaningful interactions, building communities, and humanizing the brand, these teams play a pivotal role in shaping a positive brand image and fostering long-term customer loyalty.

šŸ”—Leupold Gold Ring 12-40x60mm HD Folded Light Path Spotting Scope

https://preview.redd.it/2v7w7gigo34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a8887ea0a1ec33298b6844bbcd933867019fbc8
I recently got my hands on the Leupold Gold Ring 12-40x60mm HD Spotting Scope, and I must say it's a game-changer! This little powerhouse boasts an Extra Low Dispersion Optical System, which maximizes color fidelity and contrast. It provides an incredible image across a wide field of view, all with best-in-class eye relief for easy viewing with or without eyeglasses.
One feature that really stood out for me was the Folded Light Path (FLP) system. Instead of using prisms, this system employs mirrors to compress a long optical path into half its length, making the scope incredibly compact and portable.
Another highlight is its magnesium housing. This lightweight material packs a serious punch when it comes to durability, making it ideal for rough outdoor conditions. And don't even get me started on the 100% waterproof and fog proof capabilities - this thing can brave any weather!
However, one issue I encountered was with the focus knob. It's extremely stiff and doesn't change smoothly as you adjust the magnification. It took me quite a few tries to get used to it. Additionally, there's no diopter adjustment, but the good eye relief somewhat compensates for that.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I've been thoroughly impressed by the Leupold Gold Ring HD Spotting Scope. Its top-notch optical performance combined with its rugged construction makes it a strong contender in the realm of spotting scopes. If you're in the market for one, this could be an excellent investment.

šŸ”—TruGlo Crossbow Scope with Unisex Camo Design

https://preview.redd.it/d5ujr01ho34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99a9af21cfa130e89f2820b2653cde1301f95524
I've recently had the chance to try out the TruGlo 4x32 Rangefinding/Trajectory Compensating Crossbow Scope, a nifty piece of equipment for enthusiastic crossbow users like me. The scope's main highlight was its ability to find the range and calculate the correct trajectory for my crossbow bolts. In my experience, this feature proved to be quite handy in my local archery range, particularly for those days when the wind and temperature were unstable.
One of the things that stood out to me was the scope's robustness. It was designed to handle the harsh conditions of the outdoors, as evidenced by the sturdy aluminum body and the shock-resistant construction. This scope also offered a generous 4-inch eye relief, a feature that helped protect my eyes during those blustery hunting sessions.
The scope's lenses were fully-coated, making them highly resistant to glare, a common concern for crossbow users shooting in low-light conditions. Additionally, the durable leavespring for windage and elevation adjustments were a welcomed bonus, allowing me to finetune my shots with ease.
On the downside, one of the screws on the scope rings was stripped, a minor issue that wasn't a deal-breaker. I also discovered that the scope wasn't rated specifically for a particular crossbow speed. To achieve optimal accuracy, I had to adjust the scope manually, which was a bit tricky and time-consuming.
Regardless of these minor downsides, the TruGlo 4x32 Rangefinding/Trajectory Compensating Crossbow Scope proved to be an essential piece of equipment in my hunting arsenal. Its ease of use, durable construction, and helpful features make it an excellent choice for anyone seeking to upgrade their crossbow hunting experience.

šŸ”—Revolutionary Ravin Xero X1i Integrated Crossbow Scope

https://preview.redd.it/a63avkeho34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f6a1427991123efa897ef066624798c6b3f4522f
The Ravin Xero X1i Crossbow Scope by Garmin quickly became my go-to after its impressive features caught my eye. I've always had a bit of trouble getting the distance right when aiming with a crossbow, but with its built-in rangefinding and digital auto-ranging, it made everything so much easier. I loved the 3.5x magnification, which allowed me to spot my target without any hassle.
But the best part was definitely the Target Lock technology, which let me know when the scope was locked on a target with consistent readings. It made every shot feel like a guaranteed bullseye, and I'm really pleased with the accuracy it offered.
However, the scope was a bit heavy, and carrying it around for extended periods was quite tiring. Also, while the digital display was easy to read, the interface could've been a bit more user-friendly for faster adjustments. Overall, the Ravin Xero X1i is an impressive piece of technology that definitely gives me an edge in my hunting game.

šŸ”—Swarovski ATS-65 HD 20-60x65mm Spotting Scope: Lightweight & Comfortable for Outdoor Observations

https://preview.redd.it/w1lnhtqho34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec13ba12620d74d3a8c2376cbf84364bec4b4722
When I received the Swarovski ATS-65 HD 20-60x65mm Spotting Scope, I was ecstatic to finally have my own to join fellow bird watchers on our adventures. The first thing I noticed about this scope was its user-friendly ergonomic design. It was comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver, even with glasses on.
One feature that stood out was its bright, high contrast view. The SWAROCLEAN non-stick lens coatings did an excellent job of minimizing color aberrations, ensuring the image was clear and vibrant. However, I did find that the scope could be a bit heavy for long observation periods.
When comparing it to other spotting scopes, the ATS-65 HD truly shined in terms of its edge-to-edge sharpness and color fidelity. It was lightweight and comfortable, making it perfect for long days outdoors. Overall, I would highly recommend this spotting scope to anyone looking for a versatile and high-quality tool for their outdoor adventures.

šŸ”—Advanced 15-45x60 FDE T Series Scope with ED Prime Glass and Mil-Hash Reticle

https://preview.redd.it/81jmd3bio34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4eee283aa324bd37f4207abb33fc79035e2800bf
I've been using this Bushnell T spotting scope in my outdoor activities, and it's been quite the experience. The Mil-Hash reticle works seamlessly with the Mil-Base riflescope reticle, making zeroing a breeze. The scope has a heavy-duty, militaristic feel with a rubberized coating. The Picatinny rail mounts are a nice touch, and they're also compatible with a red dot sight for added accuracy.
The optical clarity is what one can expect at this price point, but it does the job well enough. The lens caps make it a breeze to protect the glass from dust, debris, and other environmental conditions. The only issue I had with the front lens cap is the lack of a lanyard attachment, making it easily misplaced.
The case, on the other hand, left me concerned about Bushnell's overall quality. The Velcro stitching on the lens flap failed on the first day, and the scope case seems too small for the scope. The magnification setting ring could use some improvement as well, but overall, it's an acceptable addition.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the scope has proven to be durable and holds up well under rough outdoor conditions. Its compact design and easy-to-handle eyepiece make it a top choice for avid spotters. With a solid construction, good image quality, and an attractive price point, this Bushnell T series spotting scope is worth considering for your next outdoor adventure.

šŸ”—UHD Spotting Scope with Apochromatic Lens System and Advanced Fully Multi-Coated Lenses

https://preview.redd.it/2lgb92nio34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f4dc031a27faacc5b16ca564bee0c54e1e265a1d
In the world of optics, the Athlon Optics Ares G2 UHD 20-60x85 Straight Spotting Scope has made a name for itself. It's not just for the birders spotting variances in plumage from far away or for the precision shooters who aim for targets at 1,000 yards, the scope's extra-low dispersion glass provides vivid clarity and resolution in a full-size spotting scope.
Athlon has cleverly designed it to be lightweight although strong, making it comfortable to carry and use for long periods. The aluminum alloy chassis adds to its strength without making it too heavy. With its twist-up eye-cup, it allows you to set the eyecup to the perfect eye relief for your eyes, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience.
Its ESP Dielectric Coating gives you an advantage in viewing with an image that has little or no chromatic fringe for the clearest and sharpest image. The UHD Glass in the lens helps in converging refracting colors into one focus point, producing greater contrast, sharpness, and color definition.
Reflecting over 99% of the light to your eyes, the scope brings you a clear, bright image and accurate color reproduction, thanks to the BaK4 Prisms coupled with advanced fully multi-coated lenses. It produces perfect brightness and color across the entire light spectrum, making viewing under different lighting conditions a breeze.
And when it comes to durability, the scope doesn't disappoint. It comes with an extra protective layer coating that keeps the exterior of the lens free from dirt and scratches. It's also Argon Purged and Waterproof, ensuring weatherproof performance even in harsh conditions. Purging allows for better waterproofing/fogging, making sure your scope doesn't fog up when you switch environments.
Overall, it's a joy to use this spotting scope. It's not just about viewing in high detail but also the ease it offers in using it. You won't be disappointed with its performance and features.

šŸ”—Zeiss Conquest Gavia 85 Spotting Scope - Angled, 30-60x85, 10.8ft MFD, 15.6in L

https://preview.redd.it/6ki9ix8jo34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14fa9cebca0d9e023a6b70e7bce8d0960220f745
I recently had the chance to test out the Zeiss Conquest Gavia 85 Spotting Scope, and I must say, it's quite the remarkable piece of equipment. The first thing that stood out to me was its lightweight magnesium alloy housing, which made it easy to pack and carry on my outdoor adventures. I've used several spotting scopes in the past, but this one felt noticeably more comfortable to hold and maneuver.
One of the most impressive features of this scope is its impressive magnification and objective lens, which made distant objects seem as if they were right in front of me. I was particularly impressed with the sharpness and clarity of the image, even in low light conditions. The use of ZEISS' iconic T anti-reflection multi-coatings and LotuTec hydrophobic exterior lens coatings really made a difference when observing wildlife up close.
The eyepiece's 45Ā° angle to the optical tube and adjustable tripod collar allowed for comfortable viewing in various positions, making it a great choice for those who enjoy hunting or birdwatching from different vantage points. I also appreciated the easy manipulation of the focus collar and zoom wheel, which made it simple to make adjustments without taking my eyes off the scope.
One thing that caught my attention was the scope's waterproof and fog-proof design. It was reassuring to know that I could use it in various weather conditions without worrying about damage to the optics. The universal tripod mount was also a great feature, as it allowed me to easily attach the scope to a variety of tripods I already had on hand.
However, there were a couple of drawbacks I noticed during my time with the Zeiss Conquest Gavia 85 Spotting Scope. Firstly, the price point might be a bit steep for some users who are looking for a more budget-friendly option. Additionally, while the scope excelled in most aspects, it did struggle with chromatic aberration, which was noticeable in some images.
Overall, the Zeiss Conquest Gavia 85 Spotting Scope delivered a fantastic, immersive viewing experience. Its high-quality optics, comfortable design, and reliable performance make it a top contender for anyone in the market for a premium spotting scope.

šŸ”—Athlon Argos 20-60x85 HD Straight Angle Spotting Scope: High Quality, Durable, and Waterproof Optical Scope

https://preview.redd.it/uwi54iwjo34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=73e2ee0692eecb5fba353535c2f545ac53e532b2
I've been using the Athlon Argos 20-60x85 HD Straight Angle Spotting Scope for a few weeks now, and I have to admit, it has been a game-changer for my hunting adventures. The quality of the optics is impressive, with the high-grade Argon gas providing excellent fog-proof capabilities and the BaK4 Prisms reflecting more light to my eyes for a sharper, brighter image.
One feature that has particularly stood out to me is the strength and lightweight nature of the composite chassis, which is protected by rubber armor and filled with nitrogen gas for added durability and waterproofing. This spotting scope also comes with a soft case that allows you to mount it on a tripod and use it with the case on, which is a convenient and practical touch.
However, there have been a few minor drawbacks in my experience. Adjusting the eyecup to the perfect eye relief for my eyes can be a bit tricky, and the low thermal conductivity of the Argon gas can sometimes make it a little difficult to get to the optimal focus.
Despite these minor issues, the Athlon Argos 20-60x85 HD Straight Angle Spotting Scope has been an excellent addition to my hunting gear. It offers a great balance of quality and affordability, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to level up their target sighting and bird watching experiences.

The Athlon Optics Argos HD 20-60x85 spotting scope captured my attention with its high-grade Argon gas and BaK4 Prisms, which deliver a fog-free experience and impressive image clarity. I was particularly impressed with the advanced fully multi-coated lenses that reflect more light, giving me sharper and brighter images. The composite chassis not only provides strength but is also much lighter than I had anticipated.
One feature that stood out in my experience was the twist-up eye-cup, allowing me to easily adjust the eye relief to suit my own comfort. In addition, the argon purged and waterproof design provided an added layer of protection during my outdoor adventures.
While I was largely satisfied with this spotting scope, I did encounter a couple of downsides. Occasionally, the image seemed slightly blurry when zoomed in at max power, though this was less of an issue overall. Additionally, some users reported difficulties with perfect focus, a challenge I experienced myself but found manageable with some adjustment.
Overall, I believe the Athlon Optics Argos HD spotting scope offers a solid balance of performance and affordability, making it a worthwhile choice for outdoor enthusiasts seeking quality optics without breaking the bank.

However, I did notice that the scope might be a bit bulky for some beginners, as it weighs around 40 oz. However, its overall performance and the smoothness of its single focus wheel make up for that setback.
In conclusion, the Athlon Optics Cronus G2 20-60x86mm UHD Spotting Scope is a fantastic investment for anyone looking for premium optics at an affordable price. I highly recommend it for hunters, birdwatchers, and nature lovers who desire exceptional clarity and image quality.

As an avid birdwatcher, I've been using the Vortex Razor HD 13-39x56 Spotting Scope for a while now, and it's been nothing short of remarkable. The compact design makes it super convenient to carry around, and I love how lightweight it feels. The clarity and sharpness of the image are outstanding, making it so easy to spot even the tiniest details on my feathered friends.
The adjustable magnification is another feature I've grown fond of. It's so effortless to switch between different magnification levels, giving me that extra edge when I need to zoom in on a specific bird. I also appreciate the ergonomic shape of the eyepiece, making it comfortable to use for extended periods.
However, the one downside I've noticed is the slight difficulty in focusing. Sometimes, it takes a bit of finesse to get the image looking razor-sharp, but once you've got it sorted, it's smooth sailing from there.
Overall, the Vortex Razor HD 13-39x56 Spotting Scope has been an absolute game-changer for me. Its superb optics, convenience, and ease of use have made it a go-to tool for all my birdwatching adventures, and I can't imagine going back to using anything else.

The Athlon Talos Spotting Scope has been a game-changer for my hunting trips. With its fully multi-coated lenses, the scope has breathed life into the game, allowing me to see the smallest details on my targets. It has a solid build with a waterproof and fog-proof body, perfect for the unpredictable weather conditions of nature.
One of the first things that caught my attention was its adjustable rotating ring, which allowed me to position the scope in the most comfortable angle for observation. This gave me a sense of control and comfort while I was out in the wild.
However, one aspect that could have been improved was the tripod, which felt a bit flimsy. But thankfully, I was able to replace it with a more robust one as per my preference.
Despite its minor drawbacks, the Athlon Talos Spotting Scope has been a reliable companion on my hunting expeditions. It has provided me with clear, bright images, allowing me to make accurate shots and successfully bag my targets. Its sleek design and advanced features have been a game-changer for me when it comes to spotting wildlife and enjoying nature. One of the standout features I've experienced is the incredibly smooth and powerful zoom, which has allowed me to truly get up close and personal with the wonders of the world.
However, I have to admit that there have been a few instances where I wished the scope had some additional attachments, like lens caps, to prevent losing them ā€“ although I'm a fan of the multicoated lens, which provides a stunningly clear and bright image even on the darkest of nights.
Overall, the Nikon ProStaff 5 has been an excellent addition to my toolkit for both leisurely nature walks and serious outdoor pursuits. Its exceptional quality and durability have not only boosted my appreciation for the great outdoors, but have also instilled a newfound sense of adventure within me.

Buyer's Guide

When it comes to choosing the right ACOG scope, there are several factors you should consider. In this buyer's guide, we'll discuss the general features, considerations, and advice to help you make an informed decision.

Why choose ACOG scopes?

ACOG scopes are known for their durability, reliability, and exceptional optical clarity. These high-quality tactical scopes are perfect for hunting, law enforcement, military operations, and serious shooting enthusiasts. They offer a wide range of magnification options, adjustable turret settings, and a variety of reticle styles to suit different shooting scenarios.

https://preview.redd.it/rtfkqq9oo34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5914d0818982dc4a4a6723345a3d6de4bc7fc1dc

Magnification

Magnification is a crucial factor when selecting an ACOG scope. These scopes typically offer varying magnification options, from 2x to 12x or even higher. Consider the type of shooting you'll be doing and the distance at which you'll be engaging targets. If you plan to take long-range shots or compete in precision shooting events, you may want to opt for a higher magnification range. On the other hand, if you're primarily focused on close-range shooting or engaging targets at short distances, a lower magnification range may be more suitable.

Reticle style

ACOG scopes offer a variety of reticle styles to suit different shooting needs. Some common reticle styles include the T2 MOA, T1 MOA, T3 MOA, and the SCR (Sniper Combat Rifle) reticle. Each reticle has its unique features and benefits. For example, the T1 is popular among long-range precision shooters due to its accurate and fine crosshairs, while the T2 has a more dense post that provides accurate ranging and holdover values. It's essential to choose a reticle that aligns with your shooting skills and preferred shooting style.

Brightness and light transmission

Another important factor to consider is the brightness and light transmission capabilities of the ACOG scope. High-quality scopes often feature multi-coated lenses that enhance light transmission and improve overall image brightness. This is particularly important when shooting in low-light conditions or during twilight hours. To ensure maximum visibility, consider a scope with an adjustable brightness setting that allows you to fine-tune the reticle illumination to your preference.

Construction and durability

ACOG scopes are known for their high durability and rugged construction, making them ideal for harsh outdoor environments. They are typically built with aircraft-grade aluminum and feature waterproof, shockproof, and fog-resistant design to ensure long-lasting performance.

Mount type

When selecting your ACOG scope, consider the type of mount you'll need. Some popular mount options include the ACOG quick detach, ACOG low mount, and ACOG high mount. The choice of mount will depend on the specific firearm and shooting scenario. Most ACOG scopes come with mounting hardware, but it's essential to ensure compatibility before purchasing.

Maintenance and care

To ensure the longevity of your ACOG scope, it's crucial to follow proper maintenance and care guidelines. Regularly clean your scope with a high-quality optic cleaning solution, and store it in a secure case to protect it from dirt, dust, and potential damage. Additionally, avoid exposing your scope to extreme temperatures, as this can affect its performance and longevity.
By considering these key factors, you'll be well-equipped to select the perfect ACOG scope for your specific needs and shooting requirements. Happy hunting!

2024.06.02 08:13 attracdev Writing a Rust Library for Moschitta-Core: Enhancing Performance and Safety

Introduction

The Moschitta Framework is a cutting-edge, modular, and asynchronous Python framework designed for modern application developmentĀ². While Python is great for rapid development, certain performance-critical components can benefit from Rust's memory safety, concurrency, and low-level control. In this guide, we'll explore how to create a Rust library that complements the moschitta-core module.

Why Rust?

Creating the Rust Library

Step 1: Set Up Your Rust Project

  1. Install Rust by following the instructions on the official Rust website.
  2. Create a new Rust project: bash cargo new moschitta_rust_lib cd moschitta_rust_lib

Step 2: Define Structs

In Rust, we'll use structs to create custom data types. These will serve as the basis for our functions. Let's define some example structs:
```rust // src/lib.rs
pub struct AuthService { secret_key: String, }
impl AuthService { pub fn new(secret_key: &str) -> Self { Self { secret_key: secret_key.to_string(), } }
pub fn start(&self) { println!("AuthService started with secret key: {}", self.secret_key); } pub fn stop(&self) { println!("AuthService stopped"); }
}
pub struct JwtUtils { // Add fields relevant to JWT handling }
impl JwtUtils { pub fn generate_token(&self, user_id: u64) -> String { // Implement JWT token generation logic // ... "sample_token".to_string() } } ```
Step 3: Implement Functions
  1. AuthService:
    • new(secret_key: &str): Creates a new AuthService instance.
    • start(): Starts the authentication service.
    • stop(): Stops the authentication service.
  2. JwtUtils:
    • generate_token(user_id: u64) -> String: Generates a JWT token for a given user ID.
Step 4: Build and Test
  1. Build your Rust library: bash cargo build
  2. Write tests for your functions in the tests directory.
Step 5: Python Bindings
To use your Rust library in Python, create Python bindings using the pyo3 crate. Add the following to your Cargo.toml:
toml [dependencies] pyo3 = { version = "0.15", features = ["extension-module"] }
Then, create a Python module in src/lib.rs:
```rust // src/lib.rs
use pyo3::prelude::*;

[pymodule]

fn moschitta_rust_lib(_py: Python, m: &PyModule) -> PyResult<()> { m.add_class::()?; m.add_class::()?; Ok(()) } ```

Step 6: Use in Python

  1. Build your Python extension module: bash cargo build --release
  2. Import your Rust library in Python: ```python import moschitta_rust_lib
    auth_service = moschitta_rust_lib.AuthService("my_secret_key") auth_service.start() ```

Conclusion

By integrating Rust into the Moschitta Framework, the framework can achieve better performance, memory safety, and concurrency.
Feel free to customize the Rust structs and functions according to your specific needs. Remember to adapt the examples to the actual functionality you want to implement.
Note: This post assumes basic familiarity with Rust and Python. If you're new to Rust, check out the official Rust book.

2024.06.02 08:11 Silvera_17 Tips for not tearing.

I know tearing just happens sometimes, but iā€™d like to hear what you ladies swear by as a result of NOT tearing. Iā€™d also like to hear about ladies who have, what that was like, and what you think you could have done differently if there was anything you could have done. I am planning (things may change) to go unmedicated and Iā€™m trying my best to stay as confident and positive as I can. I am aware though that the pain may be one of the craziest things Iā€™ve ever felt and the only thing I can imagine being worse is tearing unmedicated. It scares me very much so Iā€™m trying to collect as much info as I can to hopefully help me feel more prepared. Iā€™m three months away from meeting my baby boy!!! Iā€™ll do what I need to do to stay comfortable and focus on him, which may result in me going to a hospital, but Iā€™m really excited about the whole experience. So current plans- bust this little nugget outta here cavewoman style.šŸ˜Ž
Thank you all in advance! This community has been so great.

2024.06.02 08:08 YumetoHikari Any advice/success stories for considering a career break at 28 to pursue my passion in Art/become SWE from Automotive engineering?

TL;DR: A 28-year-old engineer with 4 years of experience in the automotive industry in Japan is unhappy with his job and is considering a 6-12 month career break to transition into software engineering (SWE). Need advice regarding this career break.
I have a degree in mechanical engineering and have been working in automotive R&D in Japan for 4 years. During this time, I've held three different positions: project management, design/development, and testing. Unfortunately, none of these roles have been satisfying.
Although the pay is reasonable, the work environment is very slow and draining, especially when launching new products or services. I initially believed that working in this industry would allow me to make a significant impact and develop exciting projects. However, in reality, most products and services are developed by suppliers, with OEMs merely setting the requirements and occasionally handling testing and packaging.
I am considering taking a 6-12 month career break (I have enough savings to sustain myself for 1 year) to learn programming and transition into software engineering, specifically in application and game development. I plan to focus on learning C++ and Unreal Engine. I have some basic programming knowledge but have heard that the job market is currently unstable. Many people say that taking a career break can be seen as a red flag by future employers, especially since I have only 4 years of work experience.
At 28, I am very afraid of continuing to work in a job that I hate, which drains me both mentally and physically. I don't want to give up on pursuing what I truly want, whether it's in software engineering or art. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to study while working at my current job due to the lack of work-life balance.

2024.06.02 08:07 Accurate_Context3661 Rethinking my typing again

Iā€™m overthinking this again. Perhaps my mental state is way too erratic, but now I suddenly am thinking Iā€™ve been too inaccurate beforehand, so now I think my typing may be wrong (again). Itā€™s not easy to be as truthful as I can. Honestly, my view of myself is very strange. I have always been very unsure. So I wonder if Iā€™ll get the same or a possible different answer. I apologize if I wrote way too much here or got off topic to the question.
ā€¢ How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself.
Iā€™m a minor (15), so perhaps accuracy could be affected by that. Iā€™m a female. I think Iā€™m very quiet and blend into the surroundings most of the time (and itā€™s not easy for me to be otherwise if I, for some reason, ever attempt to be that way). I either talk way too much, or talk too little. This is because if I donā€™t talk that means I really donā€™t know what to say, and when I end up wanting to say something itā€™s a lot of built up things. Also I think I end up adding random things to what I say for some reason. When Iā€™m having a conversation, I usually spend most of the time while theyā€™re talking thinking of how to properly respond, because I DO have an idea for what I want to say, I just donā€™t know how to formulate or back it up properly that quickly. For this reason, I realize I might miss out most of the details theyā€™re saying, so I try to do both now. This is why I find texting much easier. From what I hear from others, perhaps Iā€™m a little too reserved that it could be seen as rude. However, I myself think I talk just well enough. Iā€™m actually somewhat hyper and energetic most of the time, but not verbally. This is because I think it would be too exhausting to express that in such ways. I think a lot about what some things mean. Iā€™m unfortunately very quick to anger, especially if I believe someone is being way too idiotic or if Iā€™m told Iā€™m incorrect in how I think. Perhaps this may be normal to get annoyed about? But I know I get very irrationally angry about these. I donā€™t think anybody in real life would notice I have anger issues unless weā€™re close. Iā€™m very neurotic. Actually, Iā€™m going to mention that generalizing myself is difficult simply because itā€™s strangely difficult for myself to describe or identify my own traits. Also, itā€™s a bit difficult to not start explaining too much and focusing on small things (but I think I already did that).
ā€¢ Is there a medical diagnosis that may impact your mental stability somehow?
No diagnosis.
ā€¢ Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it?
Religious influence? Perhaps not strongly, although my family is Christian, they are not very strict on it nor have they forced it upon me. Actually, it was very interesting and I did believe in it at first, but due to my curiosity I think I ended up asking so many questions that eventually it somehow led me to stop believing in any sort of theistic way.
ā€¢ What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not?
I donā€™t have any, but I want to answer this with what I used to aspire to be. Very early on, I really wanted to be a scientist and kept insisting to be, but then lost interest, I donā€™t remember why, but right now Iā€™m thinking itā€™s because something about it is slightly terrifying. Very recently I wanted to become a writer because I think I was very passionate about stories in general, but I have realized how unsuccessful I might be if I chase for that with the amount of motivation and skill I have for it right now, so recently Iā€™ve been thinking Iā€™ll do something math-related, since I am good at it.
ā€¢ If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?
Refreshing for most of the time, but I think I would get lonely a few times. This is assuming I have nothing else to do and can do what I want.
ā€¢ What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities?
I donā€™t really know what activities I prefer, maybe more of ones that are having to do with dexterity. I am TERRIBLE at sports, I am too wary during ball games (but this is because Iā€™ve been hurt a lot playing with other people too many times). Badminton is the sport I am best at. I can play with quite average skill there. I actually enjoy it too, but Iā€™m not sure how to explain why, perhaps due to liking the feeling of light movements (if that sounds correct). I like to walk, it helps me think when I imagine things. I donā€™t like walking if I have to do anything else with it, itā€™s much harder to focus.
ā€¢ How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?
I think Iā€™m pretty curious. Iā€™m not sure though. I have more ideas than I can execute ONLY BECAUSE I donā€™t have the required skills to execute those ideas. My curiosities are about whatever another person brings up, perhaps. Or Iā€™m curious about peopleā€™s analysis. My ideas are very conceptual, I suppose. My ideas are more like creating a story, or combining two stories together. Or I take one small thing from a story I know of and imagine things focusing on that. I think Iā€™m imagining too much about media I consume, but I donā€™t normally do otherwise.
ā€¢ Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?
I would enjoy it for the sake of a false sense of responsibility, either that or for the sake of trying something new that Iā€™m not good at. However, I know I am not responsible enough to be good at it. As long as there is time for our team to do the task, I think I could possibly be able to do it. But Iā€™m a terrible leader since I would end up being unable to think of anything. I would rather lead by being a participative leader, because thatā€™s the only way I can lead properly.
ā€¢ Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity?
Perhaps I am coordinated, but I donā€™t understand this question at all. I may enjoy working with my hands. I donā€™t understand what this question means by ā€œdescribe your activityā€.
ā€¢ Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.
Perhaps I am artistic, I do draw sometimes, especially if Iā€™m bored. My art is likely just drawing humans, and nothing unordinary, just normality, I donā€™t know why I prefer doing so. However if I was able to draw something that was quite surreal, then I would like to do that a few times. I just wouldnā€™t do it all the time because I donā€™t think I would have that many ideas.
ā€¢ What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?
The past is just gone. You apparently canā€™t change the past, though it would be interesting if we could go to the past. But itā€™s not easy for me to think so much about the past voluntarily. Sometimes I do connect the past with the future, but itā€™s not because I actually think hard of it, it just happens. But usually if I think about the past too much, or actually try to think of the past, the first things I start focusing on are bad memories. I did mention in previous times that I answered this sort of question that I did not like the past, but of course as long as itā€™s not because Iā€™m focused on one terrible thing that happened to me or one terrible thing I did, itā€™s not bad. The present is just a moment and then gone. So what? Also, weā€™re not really in the present, are we? I donā€™t even know whatā€™s going to happen in my future, so I think I can only form an opinion on the idea. I mostly have a bit of an optimistic thought that it will go well since it always isnā€™t as bad as I think, but at the same time thereā€™s a feeling of dread.
ā€¢ How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?
I donā€™t think I would react that strongly unless it is bothering me when Iā€™m trying to do something and Iā€™m focused on doing it. Otherwise I would try to help without feeling any bother, but I may wonder why they need my help even if itā€™s incredibly obvious why. If I decide to help them Iā€™ll just do so because otherwise theyā€™ll likely bother me with it. Either that or just because I can.
ā€¢ Do you need logical consistency in your life?
I donā€™t think this is a good question, do some people really think they donā€™t need it? If there are such people, I wonder what their thought process is with that. Basically, why wouldnā€™t I?
ā€¢ How important is efficiency and productivity to you?
I donā€™t think Iā€™m efficient or have good productivity, but I do think I stress out over it. Low efficiency annoys me which is probably hypocritical. Although, I mostly do get annoyed about those when it comes to group work, because personally in those I would try my best to be efficient and productive.
ā€¢ Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?
I donā€™t think I do, but I might have done it without noticing. I think I would likely do it if I had the incredible need to change the topic of the conversation. Otherwise I donā€™t think I would bother doing it, why should I care enough to control others, especially since that takes too much effort?
ā€¢ What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?
I draw sometimes, to pass the time when Iā€™m bored and to just picture things I want to picture. Also to show people. I just mostly like drawing to see the results. Strangely with painting itā€™s different, I just like the act of doing so, but I donā€™t really care about results, so it ends up very messy. I like to write sometimes but only because I get overwhelmed and end up wanting to write what has been stuck in my head for so long onto something. So I guess thatā€™s a hobby, but itā€™s somewhat tiring so I donā€™t write for long periods of time. I do photography as a hobby, but I only picked it up because other people in my family I have noticed are incredibly terrible at taking photos, so out of annoyance I end up volunteering to do so. I end up liking it just because I like to look at how it looks on camera, I suppose. Especially with lights, because I recently noticed how it looks on photo.
ā€¢ What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?
A few years ago I took a test for this kind of thing during secondary/middle school. I suppose it said auditory. Though thatā€™s likely inaccurate now since I prefer reading the instructions and everything else, because itā€™s easier to figure out where to go from there and I can focus on it better. I donā€™t know what learning environment I struggle in most, though I do struggle slightly if I have to do exact memorization, but as long as I can attach it to something and I put effort in it perhaps itā€™s alright. I prefer classes with logic.
ā€¢ How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?
I usually improvise but have a slight idea of what Iā€™m doing. As in, I have a slight idea on the topic but Iā€™d rather not be rigid on it because otherwise I would be focusing too much on one thing and likely miss something that would be good to add, rather than just having an idea then adding onto it if I thought of something. Iā€™m not sure if that counts as winging it and improvisation though. Iā€™m not good at strategizing but I can certainly try if I have a certain goal.
ā€¢ What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally?
Improve myself in general, because what else can I do? Just be successful and become someone that has a lot of capability. That first, then I perhaps could focus on something else. My reasoning is, I donā€™t improve myself first, how can I actually end up being able to do any other aspirations that I have?
ā€¢ What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?
I fear the idea of losing thought of everything. Or losing all rationale. I donā€™t know what makes me uncomfortable. I hate it when Iā€™m dragged into something when I made it clear I would rather not be, especially when they never even told me about it until a second before dragging me into it. I hate it when people bring up something, and when I finally decide to express my thoughts about it, they talk over me or interrupt me. Either that, or they just tell me to not think so much. This is incredibly annoying to me, but I suppose it would annoy anyone.
ā€¢ What do the "highs" in your life look like?
I think I would be very calm and focused. I think I would feel very lucid.
ā€¢ What do the "lows" in your life look like?
I think my lows would be feeling an incredible amount of dread. Or I would be very anxious and slightly more impulsive. Though, I think nobody would notice much in real life.
ā€¢ How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?
I think I do pay attention sometimes but itā€™s inconsistent when I do or donā€™t. I pay attention if I have to. I like to daydream sometimes. Iā€™m not sure if I pay attention more or daydream more. How would I be aware of my surroundings if I do daydream though? Obviously not.
ā€¢ Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?
First of all, do I know why I'm there? If I donā€™t I would wonder about that. Also is it that I suddenly got there, or was I brought there? I think I wasnā€™t sure of any of these, especially why Iā€™m there, then I would think I was kidnapped and just try to get out of that room. Ignoring all that, I would probably walk around a lot and think of the same things I always daydream about or imagine about. But wait, how long am I supposed to be staying there? Is there an obvious part of this room where I can just leave or is it basically just nothing? Really this is a bit too unspecific.
ā€¢ How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?
I usually try to think a lot before making an important decision, after all, there is always the chance my first idea could go wrong if I donā€™t think it over first. I usually doubt myself once I made that decision even though I thought it through a lot. I rarely end up regretting it and changing my mind though. However, I sometimes end up doing things on impulse either if Iā€™m tired or for some reason I donā€™t even know. In which case I 100% change my mind.
ā€¢ How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?
It takes a while. I do know how I feel towards certain things but it takes time to understand or explain why, otherwise itā€™s difficult to express. I usually process this myself. Emotions are important, I guess. Arenā€™t they motivators though? Itā€™s the entire reason why Iā€™m actually doing anything, so I donā€™t see why it wouldnā€™t be.
ā€¢ Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?
I end up doing this sometimes, just not directly saying I agree or not directly saying they are right, because most of the times I do this I do know I disagree, I just donā€™t have a coherent argument that is enough to be convincing, or one that is enough that my view seems rational, because most of the times I notice the other person would see the opposing viewpoint as incredibly irrational and stupid. I am working on not doing this though, because itā€™s likely better to make them think about it than doing nothing and keep them thinking something that they could change their mind on or I could change my mind on. Another reason why Iā€™m working on this because I realize agreeing without actually agreeing would end up nagging me in the head.
ā€¢ Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why?
No, I don't break rules often. Iā€™m either afraid of being punished, or because I see the rules are pretty rational and I understand them, even if I wouldnā€™t personally impose those rules myself. Itā€™s not too difficult for me to try and adapt to those rules if different places have different rules. I do find myself re-checking the rules a lot though. I only donā€™t give any mind about rules if I really hate the community or place in which these rules have been imposed on. But if I hated it in the first place, why would I even be there? Anyways, challenged or not challenged, itā€™s not one or the other, it really depends on how the authority does things. Consider what theyā€™re like first and what they do in their role then judge if they should be challenged or not challenged.

2024.06.02 08:02 AWildEnglishman šŸ“¢ Sunday news - There are now no MPs and every seat in the Commons is vacant

Parliament is dissolved
Following the Dissolution of Parliament on 30 May 2024 there are no MPs and every seat in the Commons is vacant. As a result there will be no new laws or committee action and the weekly news will be rather ā€˜lightā€™ until after the election and we have a new government in place following the general election on 4 July 2024.

Progress on key parts of the governmentā€™s disability benefit reform agenda is unlikely to be significantly disrupted by Julyā€™s general election, Disability News Service (DNS) has established
The Modernising Support for Independent Living green paper and consultation ā€“ which includes options for making it harder to claim personal independence payment and even replacing cash payments with vouchers or one-off grants ā€“ is due to close on 22 July.

And the call for evidence on fit note reform ā€“ which could see responsibility for issuing fit notes shifted away from GPs and towards ā€œspecialist work and health professionalsā€ ā€“ is due to close on 8 July.
Although there have been suggestions that the consultation and call for evidence would now have to be abandoned, because of the election, that is not correct. Read the full news report from DNS at disabilitynewsservice.com

Diminishing notional capital detailed article published by Citizens Advice
If someone is found to have deprived themselves of capital they can be ineligible from means-tested benefits under the ā€˜notional capital rulesā€™. This article looks at how these calculations work, and how they reduce over time. You can read the article ā€˜Diminishing notional capitalā€™ at https://medium.com/adviser

Deaf man awarded Ā£50,000 damages after mistreatment by jobcentre officials
The Guardian reported that a profoundly deaf man has been awarded Ā£50,000 damages after a judge ruled he was subjected to a ā€œcharacter assassinationā€ by hostile jobcentre officials, who refused to provide him with specialist help to find work. Read the full story at guardian.com

Later evidence and risk at the time of the decision
This new case law - JS v The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions [2024] - was concerned with how tribunals must give a sufficient explanation about whether (and when) to consider evidence that occurred after the initial benefit decision, but that could shed light on the circumstances the claimant was experiencing at the time of the decision.

DNS reports that DWP staff tell MPs after years of deaths: We donā€™t have time to deal with safeguarding ā€˜carefullyā€™ and ā€˜correctlyā€™
As you may remember, a Safeguarding vulnerable claimants: Work and Pensions Committee inquiry was launched after the number of Internal Process Reviews (IPRs) carried out by DWP to investigate allegations of inadequate case handling that may have resulted in serious harm more than doubled in the three years from July 2019. There have also been a number of individual cases which have highlighted issues around safeguarding and the actions of DWP. One element of the inquiry was a survey of DWP staff and the survey results are now available.
DNS shares their view and provides a summary of the above on disabilitynewsservice.com Note: All committees (except some statutory committees) have ceased to exist pending the election. The information on the Work and Pension Committee online pages - including the inquiries that were in progress - refer to committees and their work before Parliament was dissolved. If there are Government responses to committee reports outstanding, these may be published in the next Parliament.

Appeal statistics update
With thanks to u/hooliganmembrane for sharing this with the Mod Teamā€¦ I've been looking for good statistics on percentage of appeals lapsed for months now, I'm sure it used to be on HMCTS' quarterly reports but it's not been on there the last few reports I've looked at. Anyway, I've just come across this report published in March this year which has loads of really useful information about statistics, particularly section 8 talking about customer journeys. It has some great ways of visualising the data and breaks it down by initial claims vs award reviews/change of circumstances, all of which is apparently what gets me excited at 10pm on a Wednesday evening (on annual leave, no less). Wanted to share it as something that may be a good resource to add to the wealth that y'all have collated for the community here. It also gives me my long-sought-after lapsed appeal statistics - 24% for initial PIP decisions and a whopping 47% for award reviews and change of circumstances. Will keep hunting for stats for other benefits. Love hooligan šŸ¦‡
*Note from the mods: this is what makes our community great - everyone sharing updates, lived experiences and supporting each other through the (often) challenging benefit claiming process. Thank you :)

2024.06.02 07:57 Only_Indication_9715 I'm starting a new company that's all-salary and will be employee-owned. Please tell me why it will fail.

I'm in that part of my career where I'm ready to start my own thing. I ran a branch of someone else's company for 2 years way back in the day, but the rest of my career has been in the field.
Things are gathering momentum, and I'm pretty stoked.
I also have a lot of well-meaning people in my life who are 100% optimistic and positive regarding my business model. Which is awesome - having cheerleaders in life is the coolest.
I've also been through startup before, and I've watched up-close as plumbing businesses succeed and fail. I've been spending a lot of time recently trying to punch holes in the model, and to figure out where I'm wrong. That's been helpful, but I'm pretty biased, lol; so maybe I'm not my most honest critic.
So, plumbers of reddit with field experience, and those of you who started your own thing from the ground up - please rip this idea to shreds. Seriously, I want to know everything that's wrong with it, and how it's going to fail.
I'm starting with 3 trucks - one plumber, one apprentice per truck, plus me in a smaller service vehicle, also with an apprentice. So, 8 field staff.
I have not structured or budgeted the office staff yet, but I have designated funding.
Compensation: On day 1, everyone, including me, is salaried. Going forward, all staff will be salaried after 90 days, excepting apprentices, who are hourly for their first year (this is for their benefit - I want new folks to feel free to leave with no hard feelings or negative consequences if the work isn't their bag).
Monthly revenue bonuses wil be paid out when a truck's revenue exceeds it's expenses by $10k. The size of the bonus will, of course, increase geometrically as the truck's margin increases that month. I haven't decided if I'm doing calendar months or rolling 4 week periods yet - I'll likely hand that decision to the crews. I want to incentive folks to earn, but I don't want them to be under pressure to earn every single week just to live.I also want them to know that their check is enhanced when the truck is hot - because high-revenue months are usually high-hour months.
Quarterly and/or annual bonuses to be paid out based on personal and general performance and growth. Company has a big year, everyone gets a piece.
The Employee-Owned Part:
Currently, I own 100% of the company, but that's a polite fiction. In reality, 90% of the startup funding is from a bank that has decided to roll the dice on me. 9.5% is my personal stake, and 0.5% is my wife's stake (bc she's awesome). By lunchtime on day 1, I will own 79.5% of the company.
On day 1, the 3 plumbers become 10% shareholders between them. They have decided how to split that fairly among themselves, which was pretty cool to see.
The 4 initial apprentices will receive a 5% share divided evenly among them, 1.25% each.
Going forward, apprentices who start their apprenticeship with us will be owners after their first year, and licensed folks who join up will become owners after a period, but we haven't decided what that tenure should be, yet.
Office & shop staff will receive a similar deal, but we can't structure that until we structure that staff and those positions.
My goal is for employees to control 45% of shares within 5 years. I'm open to the company being majority employee-owned eventually, but not until/unless the company pays off startup debt and is stable.
Accountability:
This company will operate in a 'right-to-work' state. The staff - field, office, & shop - have been tasked to form an in-house union within the first year of business. Honestly, I hope they get it done in the first month, but I also kinda hope we're so busy that they need more time haha.
The company will cut a check to help with consultation, training, legal, etc costs to get them off to a running start, but the union will fund itself going forward.
Part of the union's duty will be to keep me accountable. A 3rd party arbiter will be hired on retainer (shockingly cheap, btw) to keep everyone accountable, and to help prevent disagreements from becoming disputes.
Another responsibility of the union will be to present a plan for structuring many aspects of the employee-ownership system. I will have a benefits package secured for the first year of business, but I'd like the employees to have control over that sooner rather than later.
So, if you're still here, thanks, and please let me know what's going to screw us first šŸ™‚

As someone who frequently travels with their family, the Sub-Zero SZ345 1 Refrigerant Kit has been a game-changer. My children and I were constantly sweaty and uncomfortable, even with the air conditioning running full blast. I heard about the Sub-Zero kit from a friend who said it had helped cool down their vehicle.
I decided to give it a try and picked up a can at my local auto parts store. Using the kit was incredibly easy, thanks to the included recharge hose and gauge. The Cool Boost technology in the refrigerant helped my vehicle's air conditioning produce colder air in no time.
One of my favorite features of this kit is its ability to seal common leaks in rubber components and extend the life of the A/C system by eliminating acid and moisture buildup. I noticed that after using the Sub-Zero kit, my vehicle's AC stayed consistently cold, even during long drives in hot weather.
However, there was one downside to the product ā€“ the relatively short hose. It made it difficult to attach the kit to my vehicle's AC port in certain situations. Nonetheless, the Sub-Zero SZ345 1 Refrigerant Kit has greatly improved the comfort of my car, making it a must-have for any driver experiencing a lackluster AC system.

šŸ”—Multifunctional A/C Diagnostic Manifold Gauge Set with 5ft Hoses

https://preview.redd.it/o5x4xwz3l34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0fff56d52939440a15d2e234a05ae9d4a5651064
I've recently started using a multifunctional AC gauge set - an automatic air conditioning diagnostic manifold gauge set - to keep track of my car's air conditioning system. The set is compatible with R 134A, R12, R22, and R502 refrigerants, perfect for checking, charging, evacuating, and recovering work.
One thing that really stood out for me was the extra large and color-coded dials. They made it super easy to read the pressure, even in bright daylight. The sight glass design allowed me to see the liquid refrigerant flowing, which helped me keep track of everything while I charged the system.
The set also came with four extra long, 5-foot high impact hoses, each with a precise valve core depressor and 45-degree bend for easy access. These hoses are rated at 600 psi max working pressure and 3000 psi burst pressure, so I feel confident using them with my car's air conditioning system.
However, there are a few things that could be improved upon. The upgraded gauge shell is a nice touch, but I found that some of the metal parts were slightly difficult to maneuver. Additionally, it would be nice if the gauge shell were a bit more robust, as it's not as durable as it could be.
Overall, I've found the multifunctional AC gauge set to be a useful tool for managing my car's air conditioning system. I appreciate the extra large and color-coded dials, as well as the sight glass design, and the hoses are a nice touch as well. However, I do think there could be a few improvements made in terms of the gauge shell's durability and the ease of use of some of the metal parts.
Anecdote:
One day, while driving to work, I noticed that my car's air conditioning system wasn't working as well as it used to. I decided to give the multifunctional AC gauge set a try, to see if it could help me pinpoint the problem.
I started by connecting the hoses to the appropriate points on the gauge set and on my car's air conditioning system. I then turned on the system and observed the pressure readings on the gauge set's dials.
To my surprise, I found that the pressure was much lower than it should have been, indicating a leak in the system. I used the gauge set to track down the leak and was able to repair it with a little bit of effort.
After the repair, I used the gauge set again to check that the system was working properly, and I was happy to see that the pressure readings were now within the normal range.
Since then, I've used the multifunctional AC gauge set on a number of occasions, and I've found it to be a valuable tool for managing my car's air conditioning system.

šŸ”—18 oz EZ Chill Refrigerator Recharge Kit with Leak Sealer

https://preview.redd.it/7r8ccv55l34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e6b91c33c9938aeae7d337586e9bde51e2a011ac
As someone who frequently takes road trips, especially during hot summer days, I know the importance of having a well-functioning air conditioning system in my car. So, when I came across the EZ Chill 18 oz recharge kit, I decided to give it a try, and boy, am I glad I did!
The first thing that really struck me about this product was its convenience. It came with a self-dispensing can that had a built-in filling hose and a low-pressure in-line gauge, which made the whole process of recharging the AC a breeze. The fact that the gauge is reusable also means that I can easily monitor the pressure in my system in the future, without having to rely on any guesswork.
Before trying out EZ Chill, I had been dealing with a slightly underpowered AC system for quite some time, and honestly, it was starting to get on my nerves. But, as soon as I connected the hose to the low pressure port on my vehicle's AC system and started recharging, I could feel the difference almost instantly. The AC was much colder and more effective in cooling down the car, which made my road trips much more comfortable, especially during long drives.
However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows, as there were a couple of aspects of this product that could use some improvement. First of all, while the instructions provided on the can were relatively easy to follow, they could have been a bit more detailed and helpful for beginners. Additionally, I found the valve on the can to be a bit sticky, which made it difficult to control the flow of refrigerant.
Overall, I would highly recommend the EZ Chill 18 oz recharge kit to anyone who's looking for an easy and cost-effective solution to their underpowered AC problems. While there are a few minor drawbacks, such as the need for more detailed instructions and a sticky valve, the convenience and effectiveness of this product make it a solid choice for anyone looking to improve their driving experience during the hot summer months.

I recently purchased the AC Avalanche R134a refrigerant recharge kit, and I'm happy to report that it has significantly improved the performance of my vehicle's air conditioning system. The Smart Clip Technology was a real game-changer for me, as it made it incredibly easy to monitor the refrigerant charge and prevent any potential overcharging issues.
The digital pressure gauge included in the kit was another highlight, allowing me to recharge the system based on both temperature and pressure for a safe and accurate result. I appreciated its ease of use and readability, as it worked seamlessly with any R-134a refrigerant can.
Another feature that stood out was the Hybrid-Safe Formula, which allowed me to use this recharge kit with both my regular vehicle and my hybrid without any issues. The re-useable recharge hose with a self-sealing valve type was also a nice touch, ensuring that everything was securely connected throughout the recharging process.
Finally, the system-safe chemical additive mentioned in the product description has been incredibly effective at stopping leaks in o-rings and other rubber components, helping to prolong the life of my air conditioning system.
However, there were a few minor drawbacks that I encountered during my use of the kit. The hose provided with the kit was a bit short for my personal preference, making it somewhat challenging to work with in certain situations. Additionally, while the product description claims that the refrigerant formula can improve the a/c's cooling capabilities, I didn't notice a significant difference in that area.
All things considered, I would still highly recommend the AC Avalanche R134a refrigerant recharge kit to anyone looking to improve the performance of their vehicle's air conditioning system. Its ease of use, safety features, and effectiveness at preventing leaks make it a worthwhile investment for any car owner.

I recently found myself in need of a car air conditioner recharge, so I decided to try out the Interdynamics 12 oz R-134a Refrigerant. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use and how effective it was in restoring cold air to my vehicle.
The self-sealing can was a major plus for me, as it meant I didn't need to worry about any extras or additives. The EPA compliance is also a great feature, ensuring that I'm using a product that's safe for both my car and the environment.
However, there were a few cons that I encountered while using this product. Firstly, the instructions on the can were not very clear, which could lead to some confusion for first-time users. Additionally, I found that I had to purchase a separate recharge hose, which added an extra cost to the overall process.
Overall, I would recommend the Interdynamics 12 oz R-134a Refrigerant to anyone in need of a car air conditioner recharge. The ease of use, safety features, and effectiveness make it a great choice for those looking to save some money on a professional recharge.

As a car owner, I've experienced my fair share of air conditioning issues. That's why when I came across the Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic Recharging Kit with UV Dye & UV Light, I knew I had to give it a try. This all-in-one solution not only replaces lost refrigerant and oil in my car's A/C system, but also seals common leaks in rubber hose, gaskets, and o-rings, while the UV dye helps identify and prevent future leaks. One of the best features is how quickly it cools down the air - 50% faster than other similar products!
One aspect that really stands out is how easy it is to use. The reusable trigger dispenser comes with a gauge and temperature dial indicator, making it incredibly simple to monitor the pressure and temperature of your A/C system. Plus, the elimination of moisture and acid ensures that your system stays in tip-top shape.
However, one con is the price. The kit only comes in a two-container package, which may be more than what some users need, especially if they already have a pressure gauge. Nonetheless, the effectiveness of the product and its ability to quickly locate leaks make it worth the investment.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Arctic Freeze Recharge Kit. It has made a significant difference in the performance of my car's air conditioning. Highly recommended!

The Robinair 34288NI is an absolute game-changer for anyone who needs to maintain their vehicle's air conditioning system. This nifty tool efficiently recovers, recycles, and recharges R-134A mobile A/C systems in a matter of minutes. Not only does it boast excellent performance, but it's also incredibly easy to use.
One of the standout features of the 34288NI is its automatic oil drain, which not only drains the oil but also provides a visual representation of how much needs to be re-injected back into the system. Additionally, the automatic air purge feature eliminates damaging air without the need for continuous monitoring or manual valve opening.
Another highlight of this product is its impressive display, which includes a 4.3-inch color graphics screen and even supports multiple languages. The built-in programmable vacuum function is also incredibly useful, with a default setting of 15 minutes and the ability to be programmed up to 99 minutes, complete with a "remaining time" display.
While the Robinair 34288NI may not be the most compact or lightweight model on the market, its high-quality performance and user-friendly design more than make up for its size. Whether you're a professional mechanic or a DIY enthusiast, this recharge kit is definitely worth considering for your A/C maintenance needs.

I recently got my hands on the Interdynamics MB-134A Charging Kit with Metal Fittings, and I must say it has been a game-changer for my vehicle's air conditioning system. The all-metal construction and quick-connect coupler make it incredibly easy to use, even for someone like me who is not particularly mechanically inclined.
One of the standout features of this kit is definitely its durability. The high-quality materials used in its construction ensure that it will last through countless AC recharges. Plus, the sleek metal design adds a custom touch to your vehicle that you won't find in other charging kits.
However, there is one downside: the price. While I believe the quality and efficiency of this kit justify the cost, it's worth noting that you can find similar products online for a slightly lower price.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the Interdynamics MB-134A Charging Kit with Metal Fittings to anyone looking to give their vehicle's A/C system a much-needed boost.

šŸ”—#1 Top Off Kit for R1234YF Systems - 2 Cans of 8oz HFO-R1234YF & Can Tap with Gauge

Let me tell you about my experience with the ZeroR Top Off Kit for my car's AC system. I'm not a professional mechanic, but this kit made recharging my AC a breeze! It comes with two cans of R1234YF refrigerant, which is enough to fill most systems. The kit also includes an R1234YF HD Brass Can Tap with a gauge, so I could easily see when my AC was properly charged.
One of the things I appreciated about this kit was how easy it was to use. The cans were self-sealing, which means I could save any unused refrigerant for future use. Plus, the gauge on the hose made it super simple to see when I had the right amount of refrigerant in my system.
However, there were a few cons worth mentioning. First, the hose has a left-hand thread, which wasn't immediately obvious to me. It would be nice if the manual included a clearer explanation of how to connect the hose. Second, the refrigerant is flammable, so it's important to follow all safety instructions carefully.
Overall, I would highly recommend this Top Off Kit to anyone looking to recharge their AC system. The performance was excellent, and it made a complicated process much easier for a DIY enthusiast like me.

My air conditioner was on its last leg, making my summer commute miserable. I decided to give the Big Freeze R134A Refrigerant a try, and boy, am I glad I did! The instant relief from the sweltering heat was a godsend.
The easy-to-use trigger valve and pressure gauge made filling up the system a breeze, even for someone like me who's not exactly car-savvy. The 22 oz size was more than enough to get my car's AC back in tip-top shape for the scorching summer months.
The only downside I encountered was that the product labeling could be clearer. I found myself searching online for more detailed instructions. However, after a little research, I was able to get the job done with no issues.
All in all, the Big Freeze R134A Refrigerant has been a game-changer for my car's AC system. If you're tired of sweating it out in your vehicle, give it a shot - you won't regret it!

The AC Avalanche R134a Air Conditioner Refrigerant has been a game-changer for me. Its unique formula provides up to 30-degree colder air while stopping leaks and conditioning seals, making it the best choice for recharging my vehicle's air conditioning system. I've noticed that I don't need to run the engine at higher RPMs to get that refreshingly cold air, which is a big plus during scorching hot days.
One con that I have to point out is that it requires an EPA compliant adapter or charging hose, which isn't included in the package. I initially faced some issues using it with my old hose but eventually managed to get an adapter and everything worked smoothly after that.
The price of the AC Avalanche R134a Air Conditioner Refrigerant is on the higher end compared to other retailers, but considering its performance and efficiency, I believe it's worth the investment. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this product and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking to recharge their vehicle's air conditioning system.

šŸ”—AC Pro A/C Recharge R-134a for Extreme Conditions (6/12oz)

I recently used the Interdynamics ACP210-6 ACP Extreme Conditions R-134a Refrigerant Refill to recharge my car's air conditioner, and I must say, it was a game-changer. The 12-ounce can was easy to handle and came with a precision dispenser that allowed me to control the amount of refrigerant I added.
The first thing that caught my attention was the robust lubricant combination in this product, which is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and high usage. Living in a hot and humid climate, my car's air conditioner gets a lot of wear and tear, so this was a welcome feature.
Another great thing about the ACP Extreme Conditions Refrigerant Refill is the inclusion of 2x cooling boosters, which noticeably improved the cooling power of my car's air conditioner. The advanced AC leak sealer was also a huge plus, as it helped to revitalize rubber components like hoses, gaskets, and O-rings, extending the life of my AC system.
However, one downside of this product is the price. While it certainly delivers on performance, the cost may be a deterrent for some users. Additionally, the can's capacity is only enough for one recharge, so those with larger vehicles may need to purchase multiple cans.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Interdynamics ACP210-6 ACP Extreme Conditions R-134a Refrigerant Refill to anyone looking to improve the performance and extend the life of their car's air conditioner.

I recently purchased the VEVOR 4 Way AC Gauge to help me with routine maintenance of my car's air conditioning system. From the get-go, I was quite impressed by its portable design. It's compact enough that it doesn't take up too much space in my garage, yet robust enough to include everything I need for any job. Plus, the built-in ergonomic handle made it incredibly easy to transport from car to car.
As for performance, it surpassed my expectations. The high-precision gauges were incredibly accurate, especially when handling sensitive refrigerants like R134A and R410A. Each gauge had a sturdy construction, giving me confidence when using them on heavy-duty equipment.
One small issue I encountered was that the hoses were a bit longer than necessary, which made storage a bit cumbersome. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the manifold set's overall efficiency and ease of use.
Since its purchase, I've used this set on multiple vehicles and had no issues with compatibility or performance. In fact, it's made troubleshooting air conditioning issues so much simpler! I'm definitely planning to use this product in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable AC manifold gauge set.

The Interdynamics Certified AC Pro Car Air Conditioner is an essential tool for anyone looking to retrofit their vehicle's air conditioning system from R12 to R134a. This convenient kit includes two adapters - one for the low side (. 44 inch port) and one for the high side (. 38 inch port) - designed to cater to pre-1976 cars and some late model imports. The step-by-step instructions provided and the included retrofit label make it all the more easy to use, even for individuals new to this process.
While using this product, the most notable feature that stood out was its compatibility with numerous vehicles, owing to the multiple adapter sizes it comes with. This meant it was versatile and suited to varied needs across different vehicle models. However, one aspect that could be improved upon is the seal quality of the built-in caps. A few users reported leakages, which might require extra caution or even a separate cap purchase.
Overall, the Interdynamics Certified AC Pro Car Air Conditioner is a well-rounded product, benefiting from its versatility, ease of use, and the detailed instruction provided with it. Its positive customer reviews, as evidenced by its 4.5-star rating, further attest to its efficiency in fulfilling its purpose.
However, it's essential to note that these results vary from vehicle to vehicle, so thorough research and potentially seeking expert advice might be necessary for the optimal use of this product. Despite this limitation, the AC Pro Car Air Conditioner stands out as a reliable and efficient tool for anyone looking to retrofit their vehicle's air conditioning system.

Yes, but it's crucial to choose the correct kit compatible with your vehicle's make and model. Always refer to your vehicle's manual or consult with a professional technician to ensure proper usage and compatibility.

3. How often should I recharge my vehicle's AC system?

Typically, you won't need to recharge your vehicle's AC system more than once every couple of years or so. However, this depends on factors such as driving habits, climate, and overall system maintenance. If your AC performance deteriorates, it might be time for a recharge.

2024.06.02 07:52 Edfin1 Skool Review: How I made $2,500 in 30 days

I heard about Skool.com for the first time maybe a year ago. Funny enough, I was actually told about it from a client who operated in the finance niche. He told me about a strategy where you put together a free community, get your audience to join, and then upsell them to different products and services within that community. Taking it one step further, you can then upsell them into another community that costs money to join.
At first I was intrigued though very cautious. Quite frankly Iā€™m not the type of person who really likes the concept of courses or anything like that, so I wasnā€™t really sure how I would use this community.
Personally, Iā€™m a content creator who works closely with other brands and content creators to make their videos better. Iā€™ve always done a lot of 1:1 work with influencers, and consulting with brands, but never really wanted to sell something directly to my audience as it felt spammy.
But, after my client ended up setting up a Skool group and making thousands, I decided why not and dove head first.
On my first look around, I was pleasantly surprised that the platform is really well put together. It feels more like a community forum and more grown up version of discord than anything else. I explored a lot, and also looked closely at other platforms, especially discord, because itā€™s free, but ultimately decided on Skool, even though itā€™s a bit pricey.
Something Skool does that other platforms havenā€™t is gamified progress, and that made a huge difference to me.
Skool uses a point system where you earn points for participating in discussions, completing courses, and helping other members. As you rack up points, you level up, unlocking new features and privileges within the community. It's like leveling up in a video game, but instead of just bragging rights, you get access to exclusive content or advanced learning opportunities (depending on the community).
Additionally, you have the leaderboard, which shows how you stack up against other members, which with my strategy was a great motivator.
Anyways, hereā€™s how I used it to make $2,500 in one month.
The first thing I did was make a free community.
I started posting content/a mini course within that free community and talked about it openly to my audience multiple times.
From just that I was able to get a few hundred people into the community.
Fast forward a few weeks (I kept posting separate content in the community as to what I was posting on socials), and I announced a cohort/mini course.
It took me maybe 30 hours to put together the course as it was mostly live recordings of me going through powerpoints, and it was basic information geared towards beginners.
The next step was putting together another Skool community and using that as the place to hold the course.
Because this was just a trial run for me and something I wanted to test, I kept the size of the cohort fairly small, around 20 people, and sold it for $150 each.
There were some discounts given for people who signed up early, but other than that most people bought it at full price.
I then used the paid Skool community as a forum, where I would host live Q/A events twice a week and give feedback to the people within the cohort.
Overall I loved the platform, and for somebody like me this would have been a complete pain in the ass to do without it.
I highly recommend Skool to creators who want to sell some sort of digital product, course, cohort, or anything of that sort.

2024.06.02 07:48 unrulybeep Venting as a Newly Diagnosed Person

TW: sadness, grief, loneliness
Hello everyone,
Iā€™m an older adult and Iā€™m newly diagnosed. It is a complicated feeling because so much makes sense now and also I feel more alone than ever. I do intellectualize, so I apologize for all the rambling that follows.
I spent 20 years learning about society only to reach a burnout point now where I canā€™t even fake the behaviors anymore. I would not say I was ever skilled at being in community or socializing with others, but I did try hard. I thought one day I would be able to be better & find my fit. I donā€™t think that is going to happen anymore. All my job experience is in customer service/public-facing positions, and I canā€™t do them anymore. I can barely leave my house. Iā€™ve no friends or family. Iā€™m trying to apply for state assistance, or use non-profit organizations, but so much of that involves convincing people to do things, getting them to understand me and me figuring out what to do when the people arenā€™t doing the required things.
I was working with a disability employment support specialist, and after 2 months of trying to get help securing work they are refusing to continue because they ā€œcanā€™t meet my needā€. I didnā€™t know they were going to refuse service, and I only found out when they reported it back to the program coordinator. No one is able to explain why they canā€™t meet my need. My guess is because they were telling me to do customer service, or call centers, and I kept explaining why that is not a sustainable option for me. I may be able to get moved to a new organization for this service, but since my job is separating me next week, and Iā€™m already missing my rent, I donā€™t feel like Iā€™m going to get more work before I end up homeless.
I am realizing that I spent so many years studying to try to understand people, communities and society that I have nothing else. I donā€™t have any hobbies I do for enjoyment. I donā€™t know what brings me joy. I donā€™t know how I feel comfortable. I donā€™t know what brings my fulfillment. Iā€™m trying to cope with everything falling apart by finding something fun or interesting to occupy my mind and help regulate my nervous system. Instead I sit here feeling dead inside.
Iā€™m sorry this is long and whiny. I believed I would figure it out if I worked hard enough; I donā€™t think I will anymore. I wasted my entire life and Iā€™ve built no foundation of sustainability. I think some part of that feeling is grief that I was diagnosed so late, and the thought that maybe if I knew earlier I would have been able to accept myself and make different choices. Of course that is just hindsight nonsense because it isnā€™t like Autism is an accepted and celebrated disorder and I would probably have had other trauma that goes with treatment and dealing with pain points of when systems meet disability.
I just canā€™t see the light and Iā€™m so disappointed in how disconnected from myself I am. I donā€™t see how I am going to recover when I lack the most basic of self-care skills. I grew up in a lot of neglect and abuse, so I canā€™t even fall back on childhood routines or likes. I donā€™t remember a time when I felt alive and connected, anymore.

2024.06.02 07:44 Significant_Candle32 Very toxic living situation with flatmate. Need help.

What am I doing wrong here? Need help.
Hi everyone. I am not sure this is the right community to post this but I cannot think of anything else right now so here it goes.
I moved to Mumbai last July for my job as a banker in a public sector bank and I share a flat with a colleague (works in a different branch of the same bank)
Now the thing is this flatmate (25F) has always been very quiet and initially it felt that maybe sheā€™s just an introvert, hence she keeps to herself mostly doesnā€™t talk much. We had problems getting along since the beginning because she does things at a slow pace, is forgetful (sometimes when i come home after work, I see the windows open and the lights on), is messy (we share a bathroom and she leaves a bunch of her hair in the drain after every hairwash day and its gross to see that). Basically sheā€™s the youngest in her house and always had her father or brother to do shit for her.
I, on the other hand, come from a family where things werenā€™t handed to me on a platter and have had a upbringing with the mindset of ā€œgetting things done asapā€ (which def has made me an anxious person)
Anyway, we have always had issues adjusting because I have always had a problem with her just doing things without communicating with me. Example: my room has ac but it didnā€™t work and when summers started I thought I will only get it serviced after talking to her, and getting her opinion on how she wants to spend summers because one ac is in my room and other is in the hall so i thought maybe we could sleep in the hall together and that would help with the electricity bill also. She was out of town so I spent a few days without the ac because i wanted to talk to her before getting it serviced. But once she was back, she straight up told me how she had already asked the owner for installing another ac in her room without even mentioning it to me because now ofc there would be an increase in the electricity bill. Again, i let it go thinking that maybe she wanted privacy and thatā€™s okay.
But, when the ac was installed in her room thats when she told me to split the installation cost and the ac rent for the ac in her room. For a week she didnā€™t tell me anything about the cost involved in installing the ac and the ac rent. It wasnā€™t even my decision to install the ac and neither was I informed that I will have to pay for the ac in her room. (Ac in my room came with the flat so no charges are there for that)
Her behaviour is very strange. At the slightest of arguments or disagreements she starts this silent war where she stops communicating at all and I keep wondering what I have done wrong to deserve this. Yes, clashes happen when you live with someone but i donā€™t understand this behaviour of putting up a wall and acting as if there is no one else living in the same place. Whenever this has happened, i am the one who initiates conversation after that all the time.
Two weeks ago, i heard her bitching about me to someone on the phone and i was obviously hurt but I donā€™t keep things to myself and pretend that everything is okay when its not so i told her that I could hear her talking about me. To which, she said ā€œnext time if you have a problem with my voice disturbing you please knock on the door.ā€ I mean, i was hurt because of what she was saying and not because i had a problem with her volume.
I was fed up of this and hence decided to send her a text asking her to please not act this way and she confronted me about that text. In that conversation i told her i felt hurt about what she said and she said ā€œI am not responsible for your feelings ā€œ and told that she doesnā€™t like to justify her actions when i brought up the ac topic. I canā€™t tell you how much it hurt to hear that from someone who you consider an almost friend and whoā€™s been your flatmate for almost a year. Yes we are different people but imo this was a low blow even when she was in the wrong.
Silent war after this has been going on for over two weeks now and honestly i am so so so tired and anxious all the time. I look for ways to not come to the flat. Lease is ending this month, i will move out but my god this has taken such a toll on my mental health. I just keep crying thinking that it went to this extent because I donā€™t realise what i have done wrong to deserve this behaviour. I dont even know how can someone be so cruel say words like these, bhai mere ex ne bhi ye sab nahi bola kabhi!!
Anyway, please tell how to adjust for the next month because my god everyday i wake up with anxiety and feeling weird about my living situation and there is this weird aura around all the time. Please help.
