I just appeared for Cuet this year and i to opt for Ba Hons But My General Test Went Completely $h!T I am barely getting 100 in General test. But fortunately I filled other 4 subjects English, Phe,History and Political Science.
In English I am expecting around 173/200
In Phe I am expecting 170/200
In History I am expecting 170/200
And In Pol Science I am expecting 176/200
Overall if there will be Best of 4 then I will be scoring between 675-685/800 But if GT will be included i will be doomed :')
Also I Scored 86% in 12th Boards with 91 in English, 89 in Political Science but 79 in History and 80 in Economics.
Where will I Fall? Are there any Good Colleges who will accept this score?

If you could go back in time when you were an undergrad with what you know now, how would you go about studying folearning your intermediate micro/macro courses?
I'm current taking mine and am struggling (Varian and Blanchard’s textbooks for micro and macro respectively). I used to be the top student in a class of 100+ in my calculus and intro econ courses but now I'm maybe average/below-average amongst my peers in a class of 40. The students taking these courses have exam averages of around 25-35% each year, and the grade gets curved heavily. You could score a 20% on the final and still pass the course, for example.
Recently we had an exam on the Solow growth model (no calculus or really any math on this test.). I got 41%, class average was 45%. The lectures, assignments, and textbook questions only covered 30% of the test material. The prof told us he wanted the exam to be one of the hardest we'd done so far in our college careers so we'll be forced to "figure things out" on the spot and grow intellectually. This view is consistent across the department.
Is this how intermediate economics courses are supposed to be taught? This feels more like solving a math Olympiad of questions you've ever seen before rather than learning things and being tested no it. While apparently some classmates do well at this, I've always been the type who needs to practice solving something first beforehand to actual understand what I'm doing, especially if its abstract.
What advice would you give to a struggling undergrad econ student? Any resources that mind be good practice since class material doesn't seem to cut it.

I just watched this, and I need to know that someone else hated it as much as I did. I have never before felt the urge to write a director and ask for my money back. Where to begin? Pacing is slow AF. Plot is nonexistent. All the characters are awful and of course the woman is the worst and completely one dimensional. There is pointless homoeroticism everywhere with nothing to do with what little plot there is. The cinematography is inconsistent and very shaky, about 3/4 of the entire movie is close ups of one of the male leads smiling in slomo, the remaining quarter is Zendaya’s nips or ass. But the worst, my god, the very worst is the score, which was mostly bad club music pulsing intrusively right over dialogue, sometimes halfway through a scene. Then an abrupt switch to Spanish love songs and then hymns that sound like they belong in Charlie Brown’s Christmas.
I like tennis. I like a good old fashioned erotic script. I even like gratuitous nudity. But this movie has ruined all those things for me. I want to know what drugs were made available to whoever green lighted this absolute piece of garbage and then take them all in hopes of destroying the brain cells that contain memories of it. I have never hated a movie more.

Hey guys, I (25M) wanted to post this here and get some advice of what to do next? I have been considering legal action, but I wonder if I have much of a case here. Some key things to note:

• I live in Nevada, USA, which is a right-to-work state and I was about to complete my 6-month probationary period before I was let go.

I followed him to a meeting room behind the bar on the casino floor and sat down with him and Kevin, a new Operations Manager that had just been promoted, as a witness. Chris informed me that I was being let go, to my shock. I asked why. He gave me a rather vague answer about how many factors have led to this decision, but he does not believe that I will mesh well with the team long-term and unfortunately it has come to this. When I had first started in my position, Chris and I had only two conversations about my progress and his concerns:
One was with my former superior Paul and Chris about how some of my behavior was a bit distracting to others and while it is good to be enjoying your work, please focus on my work and try to conversate with my coworkers about things relating to the job. My interactions with her were limited simply because of this fact and the most I ever spoke to her was greeting her when I arrived in the office, as I greeted everyone else, and benign small talk. May 9th is also her birthday, as I had heard from some of her other coworkers, so I even got her a birthday card and a singular cupcake that day.
For the record: I never singled her out in this treatment; in fact many times I had offered snacks or food to fellow coworkers. I even brought in staple snacks in Chinese culture for Chinese New Year this year a few months ago for the whole office to try. I offered them to everyone including Logan, as it is a big day in my culture and unfortunately I had to celebrate while at work. In my opinion, things like reminders of your birthday while at work is a very inclusive gesture and I was actively trying to make our company a better place to work at by promoting a more positive culture by setting an example. I even asked a coworker for his birthday so I could remember when it came around, as I realized I didn't know anyone's birthday yet. I did not mean anything by my actions, if they truly were making Logan feel uncomfortable, and I think some sort of warning beforehand would have been more than fair. If Logan herself was too uncomfortable with saying it to me personally, I could've also have heard it from any of my superiors first.
I made this point in my conversation with Chris; his only reply to me was that some people aren't comfortable enough doing that without hurting anyone's feelings. I feel that there is something more than what Chris told me and Logan's perception of me may not be the only reason I was terminated. And if Logan's perception of me was a deciding factor in my termination, I do not appreciate that treatment or assumptions being made of me simply because I am a man and she is a woman and therefore all my actions are perceived as malicious and/or having ulterior motives."

hello everyone. I’m a 19 y/o (20 in july) college student who lives with her parents, and it’s increasingly getting more tempting to move out, even though they say they’ll support me til I’m done with my bachelors. but they also say I will have to find my own insurance, and pay for phone and wifi if I move out. they also pay for my meds.
mentally, it’s a rollercoaster. there’s days where we are fine, then the next we dont speak. it can get emotionally draining. my parents both know I wanna move out, but they make sure they guilt trip me before I think about moving for sure. so that has really been the main factor of wanting to get a place on my own.
now the questions: how does renting work? I heard there are seasons for rent increase/decrease? idk if that’s everywhere or in certain places how much should I save? should I get a place on my own or roommates? studio or 1 bedroom? is it really worth it? should I wait? any personal experience or advice?
about me: I have no savings account (honestly don’t know how to start, my parents never taught me) my credit score is good, almost 800 I believe I don’t drive (not the biggest factor but can definitely be a setback, I hope to learn soon)

so basically my parents are pressuring me to take the sat and constantly regurgitate the same saying that i NEED a good sat score (1340 and up for this scholarship they want me to get) or im getting kicked out when i graduate high school...
so with that in mind i was wondering if i should study for the sat now so i can take it later this year (entering 10th grade this august). if i should, how do i even do it? do i just binge the khan academy stuff? lmao
my most recent psat score was a 1160 (630 on reading and 530 on math)

To put it short, I'm 25 and don't have very good credit. At the moment I probably wouldn't be able to get a mortage for anything, but my living situation has recently become more affordable and I will hopefully have an improved credit score and a 15% down payment in a few months, is it really easier to get approved for a mortgage on less then optimal credit with a credit union? I've heard people say for the last 5 years or so banks in Canada have been approving mortgages at a higher rate then credit unions.

Internet research conclusions:
The 2.0L 4cyl engine is significantly better than the 1.5L 3cyl one.
Fwd drivetrains tend to have less issues than the AWD system.
The 8 speed AT is not great, but that's the only transmission you can get.
Two 2020 escapes, one with 2L+AWD and the other with 1.5L+FWD. It's a pick your poison kinda deal; so, which one would you get? Both have less than 50k miles and assume they have similar conditions.

I know there's a ton of posts complaining about the mastery update, from the masterwork chest banner champs being seemingly random, to the system being extremely grindy and not good if you're anything but a one trick, to the leveling system not reflecting the stated goal of "making mastery more about skill with the champion rather than grind", to the leveling conversion being awful and the inability to see the total mastery score on a champ, to the designs being ugly as hell and not really fitting the whole aesthetic of the client, etc, etc
But I got another one for you (granted I've seen it mentioned in a few comments, but really should be talked about more): why is the in-game mastery emote so cheap? It looks like a sticker that randomly pops up, has no particular SFX or flair, barely an animation to it...
This is the weirdest change to the system imo. Riot has always done things that are inscrutable to mere mortals who do not possess the knowledge and foresight of whoever they use as a test group for changes, but when they do big updates like this, doing things that look cheap isn't really their style.
So how come the mastery emotes were shipped like this? I shouldn't care particularly, I don't play Yasuo so I lack the impulse to just spam M7 for any one thing, but still, why the drop in quality for the emote? Why make it objectively worse in quality? That was the one aspect where the new system could've shown some personality and win fans over, with some cool SFX and animations, really weird to cheap out on that of all things

I am a 22 year old recent college graduate looking to rent in NYC. I got a job making $75k per year. I have one roommate who is making $70k per year. I just got a credit card recently and don’t have a credit score yet, but my roommate has good enough credit. Looking for 2 bedroom apartments that are under $3.6k total so that we’ll meet the 40x income requirement.
My parent agreed to be a guarantor since I don’t have a credit history yet. My question is, when they calculate whether or not they meet the 80x rent requirement, would they use just the rent I pay (1.8k) or the total of 3.6k? My guarantor is also out of state (NC). They would cover the 80x requirement for just half the rent, but not for the full rent.

I am in the middle of chapter 2 of BG1 EE. I also intend on playing the whole saga with the same character and some of the main companions before jumping into BG3.

My question is about ability scores. Strength, dexterity, constitution, and charisma are at 18. Intelligence is at 16, and wisdom was my dump stat at 2.
It thought this was fine until I noticed I have no lore. All I know is lore lets you identify items, and I’d like to do that.
I’ve learned that charisma is the most popular dump score, but chose to max it for the conversations
How much will this effect me in the future games, and should I reroll and balance out intelligence and wisdom?

Tottenham are reportedly ready to send deal of around 55-60 million euros for Gibbs-white

A guy that has been rumours to Spurs for a year now, everybody knows his name by now. Though the deal for Tottenham could be more difficult, as Aston Villa has joined the race for the midfielder. Through Reports, it is said that Aston Villa has a good chance to complete the signing because of their qualification for UCL next Season. However, Tottenham aren't giving up on signing him, as they say he is "Their top priority player to get in this summer". It is said that if the Gallagher deal aren't coming to N17, Tottenham will put their full focus on the signing of Eze, instead.

• Calafiori

Tottenham are close to bid for the Italian Defender, in the range of around 20 million Euros.

• Carlos Soler

Tottenham are keen to find a new number 6 to bolster their squad, and Carlos is one their looking intriguingly at. However, the deal wont be cheap, which throws Spurs a little of, but the deal is still under discussion.

• Hjulmand

Tottenham wanted the midfielder a lot, and were even tempted to pay the 70-80 million Euros, Sporting wanted for the Danish midfielder. However, the Danish midfielder has said that he is really loving the life in Portugal and aren't desperate for move across Europe.

• Ndidi

Tottenham considers him an interesting purchase as a number 6, not much discussion as of right now.

• Raphinha

Tottenham is still keen on signing the Brazilian. Because of his performance in the champions league, Barcelona are more needy for a bigger sum. Though Tottenham are trying for a deal...
*So what are your guys' response to one or more of these rumours, pretty spicy, isn't it ;)*

We knew this was gonna be tough matchup and the field conditions didn't help as well. Washington got into the scoring early with a goal in the 9th minute. After a potential disastrous injury to our co-captain Gorden who went out with a non-contact injury we stormed back with an own goal off Butel from Le Bihan and another header goal from Leroux to put us ahead. However it didn't last as WSH fired off 3 goal in less then 10 minutes to put us in 2 goal hole going into the half. The second half we did better defensively but couldn't find the back of the net. Let's get into the good, the bad, and the ugly....
The Good
Our attack looked better. It's looked good before but can we build on this going forward? We got past one issue that has plagued our offense this season so far which was a a lack of shots. We held more in Washington's half after Gorden went down and we looked to force the Spirit to defend more to make up for Gordens loss. We we're able to fire back quick and take the lead and for that short time looked like we could possibly pull out a win, or at the very least a tie. Giselle really played well in the attack and was everywhere. Nabet looked really good defensively and made some crucial saves and stops. Le Bihan has cemented her spot as a starter now imo. She brings life to the middle and the attack and has good connection with all players
The Bad
Defensive breakdowns in the counter and box issues with marking and clearing. When Gorden went out it affected two things. Her physical presence was huge loss with her ability to defend and moves the ball up. The second was her leadership to command and control the backline. With her out early, Washington took advantage of the breakdown on the counters and we paid for it. At the half our backline had time to talk roles and did better but for that 10 minutes it was chaos in the back. We need to work better on clearing the ball out around our box and pushing up. It always seems like a scramble and it leads to goals against. It also feels like the 3rd of fourth game where someone unmarked gets a goal or has a good chance.
I said we did better in the attack building creating chances but getting the ball into the back of the net still needs work. Curry had an open header chance, A. Thompson if she fell would've received a penalty chance. We could've had a couple goals from A. Thompson and Bright if not for offsides. The attack is moving forward so it's progress from what it was and hopefully we build on it.
The Ugly
The field was bad, lot's of slips and unsure footing and slower ball speed on the ground all caused issues for both teams at different times. The Ref.... we had 5 yellows to Washington's 0.... like what???? felt like some biased calls in Washington's favor many times. Late subs again with little time for our subs to make real impact. Turnovers that lead to counters and extra chances are a continuing issue. We had 62% possession rate but again Washington didn't need the ball that long to make impact plays. It can be good to control but we need to be purposeful with our possessions.
The Absolute Worse
Gorden upon the replay look liked her foot stuck but her body kept moving and her leg/knee twisted up and looked really really bad. I pray and pray that it's minor and we could see her back in a few weeks, but it could be very likely she could be out for the season. However long she's out and without Nielson our back line looks a lot more shaky going forward and Tweed and the rest of our backline will need to make some major adjustments to keep opposing attacks at bay.
Overall
It's another tough loss. We not only lost out on points we potentially lost a major player for the season. We saw some improvement's but also couldn't overcome some major mistakes and breakdowns. Short rest but we're home for our game against the Wave on Thursday. But I wanna say this team doesn't not lay down and give up. They'll all fought the whole damn game and i hopefully they keep their heads high and we push through an get back on the W side this week.
