Kokichi and Himiko hurried over to Himiko's secret magic room. Once there, Himiko threw open the pages of "Inside the Magical Mind" over to the "Build the Perfect Dream" chapter. She flipped through the pages until she found what she was looking for.
"A-ha!" she squeaked with excitement, placing her finger on the horror section. Kokichi grinned at her.
"Nee-heehee...I know we're supposed to be serious, and all, but that 'a-ha!' was super cute, Monkey Buns!" Kokichi said, giving Himiko a squeeze.
"Nyeh...that's because I'm super cute...thank you very much," Himiko said, sassily flipping her hair.
"Yes, you are," Kokichi murmured in a low, flirty voice, leaning his head against Himiko's. "I wuv my cute, wittle Monkey Buns." He gave Himiko a few soft kisses on her lips. Himiko giggled in delight.
"Okay, okay, it's back to being serious," she said suddenly, clapping her hands with a purpose.
"Yup, yup! It's go time!" Kokichi said, nodding enthusiastically. Himiko studied the horror section of the book:

Himiko skimmed the first two potions, "Thriller Night dream," and the "Goosebumps dream." She stopped straight at the "Nightmare Fuel dream."
"Nyeh...this is the one that we need," she said, grinning deviously. Kokichi grinned along with her.
"Oooo...I love when my Supreme Lady gets all mischievous," he said with a ghoulish giggle as he kissed her cheek. Himiko giggled with him, as well, before reading on:
Nightmare Fuel dream: Want your enemies to experience the ultimate nightmare? Then, the Nightmare Fuel dream is the perfect one for you...or should I say, your enemy. Huhuhu! Give them them a night full of what they fear the most, whether it's a bunch of wriggly spiders, or a terrifying ghost!
Kokichi and Himiko grinned at each other impishly.
"Perfect!" they murmured in unison, and giggled deviously as Himiko poured in the ingredients. As she stirred the potion, eerie wisps of green and purple mist emanated from the cauldron. Himiko waved her hands mysteriously over her cauldron to part the mists away. Kokichi was mesmerized by her movements. Her face glowed bright in beautiful shades of shimmering green and purple. Kokichi felt his heart beat faster. If they weren't making cookies, this could be the perfect romantic setting. He couldn't resist her mischievous grin as she continued to pour and mix the ingredients. He felt as if he were falling in love all over again. Himiko looked up at him, catching him staring. She batted her eyelashes seductively at him, beckoning him closer. Finding her alluring and completely irresistible, Kokichi moved closer to her. He placed his hands on her waist and pulled her into a deep, passionate kiss. He then wrapped his arms tightly around Himiko. He couldn't resist. Heart raging against his chest, he reached up her shirt, caressing her back with his hands. His hand slowly moved up towards her bra to unhook it.
Snoozydoodle, my ass, he thought to himself. All my dreams are coming true right here! Suddenly, he moved his lips down to her neck. Himiko gasped softly and smiled. She placed her lips next to Kokichi's ear.

"Kokichi," she whispered seductively.
"Mmmm...yes...my Supreme Lady...?" Kokichi murmured in response, using his lips to move Himiko's shirt collar to gently bite Himiko's shoulder.
"The cookies, Kokichi..." Himiko reminded him in a sultry whisper. Kokichi's hands froze right as he was about to unhook her bra. He squeezed her longingly, but in the end, reluctantly released her.
"Right..." he mumbled. "Sorry..." He sighed, feeling dizzy. He had to admit that he loved the way Himiko made him feel. He shook his head to clear his mind. His breathing slowed back to a steady pace, as well as his heart. Now wasn't the time for feelings. They had to focus on the task at hand. Himiko smiled and bit her lip flirtatiously at him. He could tell she wanted him just as badly in that moment. But, she continued mixing the potion. He turned away from her, as if to block out any lustful temptations.
"Nyeh...it's finally done," Himiko said, breaking the silence. She poured the potion into a potion bottle.
"Ready to go?" Kokichi asked, trying to overcome the spell he was just under. Himiko nodded. Once they left the room, Kokichi grabbed Himiko's wrist. "Himiko...what happened back there...you didn't...do that to me, right?" Himiko smiled as she blushed bright red and shook her head.
"Nope," she replied. Kokichi nodded slowly.
"I thought so," he said. They both took deep breaths. "Pheeew! That was something, huh?" he said, scratching his head with a sheepish blush splashed onto his face.
"Nyeh...it was probably just a heat-of-the-moment type thing," Himiko said.
"Yeah, er, um...sorry about...y'know...reaching up your shirt and..." Kokichi began. Himiko looked at him with a seductive gleam in her eye and smiled naughtily as she placed her hand on his chest.
"You can do whatever you want to me..." she murmured in a low voice. "...and that's the truth." She bit her lip and winked flirtatiously at him before turning and walking away without another word. Kokichi stared after her, stunned, as she walked along the train tracks leading to the abandoned train station. Suddenly, a devilish grin crossed his face as he ran to catch up to her. He wrapped an arm around her waist and gave her a kiss on the lips before both breaking off into a run with mischievous giggling to D.I.C.E. headquarters to bake cookies for the final time.

"Don't go chasin' waterfalls. Listen to the rivers and the lakes that you're uuused to," Four sang, holding a broom handle like a microphone. Five paused from polishing some furniture and turned to him with a scoff.
"Ugh...dummy! Hello! It's 'Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to,'" she corrected.
"Well...whatever," Four grumbled. "I don't like that dumb song anyway."
"Hahaha...why, cuz you got the words wrong?" Six cackled.
"N-No!" Four stammered, going back to sweeping the floor. Two held the dustpan out so Four could sweep the dirt into it. "I just...think it's dumb! How can someone chase a waterfall when it doesn't even move?!"
"Pffft! I don't know, I didn't come up with the lyrics! Why don't you ask DLC?" Six answered. Five rolled her eyes.
"TLC!! " she corrected.
"Whaaaateveeeerrrrr!!" Six shouted back. Suddenly, the front doors of the headquarters burst open, and in walked Kokichi and Himiko.
"Boss! You're here!" Four said, blocking Kokichi's way. "Can I ask you something?"
"Not now, Ichiro, Himiko and I have some business in the kitchen," Kokichi replied urgently. He swerved around Four, but Four ran up to block his way again. "Ugh! What, Ichiro?!" Kokichi exclaimed testily.
"Um...is it 'Don't go chasing waterfalls, listen to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to,' or is it, 'please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to?'" Four asked timidly.
"The latter," Kokichi replied briefly, then dashed away quickly to the kitchen.
"DAMMMIIIIIT!!" Four cried, falling to his knees in defeat. Five grinned smugly at him.
"Told ya!" she said before continuing her polishing.
In the kitchen, Kokichi and Himiko got to work on the last batches of the Snoozydoodles. Kokichi preheated the oven. Himiko poured the ingredients, including some of her potion, inside, and Kokichi mixed afterwards. Right after sticking one batch into the oven, they immediately got started on a second batch. After a few hours of baking, they had finally come up with enough batches for the entire school.
"Nyeh...that was exhausting," Himiko sighed, leaning against the wall.
"Well, that was only half the battle, HimiCocoa Bean," Kokichi said, pulling her up. "We gotta get these cookies to Hope's Peak."
"Ooo! Can I have one?" Four asked, reaching for a cookie.
"No!" Kokichi said, slapping his hand away.
"Nyeh...Kokichi? How are going to carry all these cookies?" Himiko asked, gesturing to the stacks upon stacks of cookies on the counter.
"Kazuki!" Kokichi called to Eight. Eight silently walked in and saluted. "Bring the confetti cannon."
"Yes, boss," Eight replied, then hurried away. He came back a few minutes later lugging a large, black, tubular contraption with a long, black hose with ridges similar to a one on a vacuum cleaner.
"Thank you!" Kokichi replied. Eight saluted in response. "It's clear of confetti, right?"
"Yes, sir," Eight replied.
"Great!" Kokichi said. "Takehiko!" Ten now appeared in the kitchen, taking his place next to Eight.
"You rang, boss?" he asked.
"Yup! Fire up the Happycopter and wait there for us," Kokichi ordered.
"On it like a bonnet!" Ten promised and scurried off.
"Monkey Buns, help me pour the cookies into this hole right here," Kokichi said, opening up a lid on top of the cannon similar to a fuel cap on a car.
"Nyeh...got it, boss," Himiko replied with a smile. Kokichi smiled back at her and stroked her cheek affectionately. They both began pouring the cookies inside the confetti cannon. Once all the cookies were inside, Kokichi closed the lid.
"Alright, babe, we're ready to roll!" he said to Himiko. Himiko nodded firmly in response. Kokichi turned to Eight. "Kazuki, give us a hand." Eight saluted and helped Kokichi and Himiko carry the cannon up the stairs all the way to the rooftop, where Ten was waiting for them in the Happycopter. The three hoisted the cannon inside. Kokichi hopped in and helped Himiko inside.
"Where to, boss?" Ten asked.
"Drop us down on the roof of Hope's Peak," Kokichi replied.
"Caaaan do!" Ten said, then took off. He landed the Happycopter on the roof of the academy, and helped Kokichi lug the cannon out.
"Alright, Ten! We'll take it from here!" Kokichi shouted over the blades of the Happycopter. Ten answered with a salute, then flew the Happycopter back to D.I.C.E. headquarters. The final bell to Hope's Peak rang, and the students began pouring out of the front entrance far below. Kokichi pulled out a megaphone.
"He-eeeey, everyoooone!" he sang, his voice ringing loud and clear. The students looked up at him.
"Hey! It's Kokichi!" Kaito said, pointing up at the roof.
"And Himiko's with him!" Ibuki added. Himiko felt dizzy from such a great height.
"Nyeeeh...I feel woozy," she muttered. "I'm glad I'm only 4' 11." I don't think I could stand being taller than that."
"That's alright, HimiCocoa Bean, I'll do all the talking," Kokichi said. "Just get ready to flip that switch when I tell you to." Himiko went to the cannon and waited by a tiny, black lever.
"Hey, Kokichi!! Tell Himiko to give us more cookies!" Kazuichi cried.
"You guys want Snoozydoodles?" Kokichi asked through the megaphone. Everyone cheered. "I saaiiid...do you guys want Snoozydoodles?" Kokichi repeated louder, increasing suspense. Everyone cheered louder.
"Hurry up and give us the damn cookies!!" Miu screamed at the top of her lungs. Kokichi turned to Himiko.
"Flip the switch, Monkey Buns!" he said. Himiko flipped the tiny lever, activating the confetti cannon. Kokichi held up the ridged hose, and out flew dozens of cookies. The students below cheered and clamored for the cookies. Everyone grabbed a cookie and headed home. Kokichi turned to Himiko and gave her a high five.
"Well done, Himiko!" he said. "Now all we gotta do is wait!"

The next morning, Himiko woke up to see Tenko sitting on the edge of her bed in horror. Her eyes were wide and she was pale as if she had seen a ghost. Himiko crept slowly over to her.
"Nyeh...Tenko? Are you okay?" Himiko asked worriedly. Tenko jumped back in fear.
"WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" she screamed, jumping back under her blanket.
"Nyeh! T-Tenko! It's just me!" Himiko said. Tenko peeked out from under her blanket.
"H-H-Himiko...?" she stammered.
"That's right. It's just me," Himiko said. Shivering violently, Tenko crawled out from under blanket again. "Tenko, what happened?"
"H-H-Had...nightmare..." Tenko stammered. "N-N-nothing b-b-but...darkness. And...c-c-creepy singing. I couldn't move! It's like I was trapped inside a...a...cage! The next thing I know...there was a sharp p-p-pain in my neck!"
"Oh, my!" Himiko exclaimed.
"Th-Th-That's when I w-w-woke up," Tenko said, holding her blanket up to her face. Then, she slowly lowered her blanket with an apologetic expression. "Himiko...i-i-if it's okay with you...I d-don't think I want another S-Snoozyd-d-doodle..."
"Yeah! Okay!" Himiko nodded. It was exactly what she wanted! She hurried to get dressed, then headed downstairs to the dining room to see the others' faces filled with woe and misery, as if their nightmares had drained every ounce of life from their bodies.
"Nee-heehee...looks like all their hopes and dreams got shattered, huh?" Kokichi whispered, suddenly appearing next to Himiko, leaning his elbow on her shoulder. Himiko grinned and nodded.
"But, I wanna make sure they don't crave my Snoozydoodles at all, anymore," she said. She walked into the dining room. "Nyeh...anyone in the mood for more Snoozydoodles?" Everyone snapped to attention with sheer horror in their eyes.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!" Kaito wailed.
"Keep those cookies from hell away from us!!" Miu cried, tears streaming from her eyes. "There was nothing but...t-t-toilet paper everywhere!! And some buff guy I couldn't identify was running after me with one of the rolls tryin' to strangle meeee!!"
"Gonta not wanna get stabbed by bug again!!" Gonta sobbed into his hands. "Bugs betray Gontaaaaaa!!"
"I...had boiled water thrown on me..." Kiyo said, his face pale and sweaty. "Then, to add salt to the wound, Sister threw salt on my wounds." He shuddered violently.
"I was surrounded by a bunch of piranhas," Ryoma said. "And then, they started biting me. I...could actually feel the biting." Everyone was holding themselves, rocking back and forth, trying to erase their nightmares from their minds.
"Himiko...if it's alright with you...I'm done with Snoozydoodles," Tsumugi said. Himiko pretended to appear despondent.
"I understand," she said. Then, she turned to Kokichi with a huge grin. Kokichi gave her a thumbs up.
"That's my Supreme Lady," he murmured in her ear and gave her a kiss.

Weeks later, the time finally came for the surprise field trip. Usami ushered the students onto the buses.
"Where do you think we're going, Monkey Buns?" Kokichi asked Himiko.
"Nyeh...I'm not sure," Himiko replied.
"Tuh...wherever it is, it better not have anything to do with cookies," Miu muttered bitterly. She was hanging over their seat from behind.
"Uh...this is a private conversation between me and my Supreme Lady," Kokichi said. "So, back off, bitch!"
"Eeeeeeee!!! Okay, okaaaayyyy!!" Miu whined, shriveling back down into her seat. The buses lurched forward, and drove a few hours, passing cities like Osaka and Kobe. From Kobe, they drove through Awaji island to one of Japan's main islands, Shikoku, to Ehime prefecture. From there, they took a ferry ride to a small island.
"Heeey, you're taking us to an island?!" Kazuichi asked in annoyance. "How annoying! What's so great about a damn island?! We live on one! Japan is made of a bunch of them!"
"Don't worry! You'll like this place, I'm sure!" Usami promised.
"Oh, my! If that island is what I think it is, we shall definitely have the best time of our lives!" Sonia cried.

"What is it?" Kaede asked.
"I...do not want to tell," Sonia said. "I do not want to get my hopes up." Himiko turned to Kokichi.
"Do you know what she's talking about, Kokichi?" she whispered. Kokichi shrugged.
"Beats me," he replied. "Honestly, I think it'll be fun to find out." Finally, the ferry pulled in to dock. The students climbed off the ferry, and were startled by Sonia's cry of pure joy.
"I KNEW IT!!!" she exclaimed. The students turned to see what she was so happy about, and gasped in delight. There before them, were a bunch of cats! Cats laying around, cats pouncing on birds, cats being petted by tourists. There were cats everywhere!
"Students...welcome to Aoshima Island!" Usami announced grandly. "Feel free to pet the kitties to your heart's content!" The students rushed over to them with glee.
"Awwww...hey, there, wittle kitty-wittyyyyy...!" Kaede gushed, holding a cat up to her nose. then, she held it to Shuichi. "Wanna pet him, Shuichi?" Shuichi patted the cat politely on his head.
"Fuhahahahaaaa!! I shall set up my feline army here!" Gundham said. Many cats surrounded him. "Behold, feline warriors! It is I, your king, Gundham Ta-nyah-kaaa!!"
"Huh...I didn't think someone like you was capable of making puns," Kazuichi said.
"I thought it was a wonderful pun!" Sonia said.
"Pretty cute, huh, Himiko?" Kokichi asked, holding up a black and white cat. Himiko held up a cat with ginger fur.
"Nyeh...this one, too!" she said with a nod.

"Heeeey...these two look like they'd make a great couple!" Kokichi said. They held their cats together. One black and white, and the other, with its fiery red-orange fur.
"I couldn't agree more, Kokichi," Himiko replied, batting her eyelashes at him. The black and white cat's green eyes twinkled with mischief, while the ginger cat just hung there lazily in Himiko's arms. The black and white cat playfully swiped at the ginger cat. The ginger cat made an annoyed noise and pawed at the black and white one. The black and white cat nuzzled its head against the ginger's, and the ginger cat seemed to smile. Kokichi and Himiko giggled and set the cats down. The black and white cat nudged the ginger. He ran a few feet ahead, then stopped, waiting for the ginger to follow. The ginger stood up and trotted after the black and white. The black and white hopped up and down excitedly and broke off into a run. Kokichi wrapped his arm around Himiko's waist as they watched the the ginger catching up to the black and white, running alongside each other off to another adventure, no doubt.

The next afternoon, Kokichi and Himiko wished each other luck before Kokichi went off to his own stand. Himiko set her table up and placed her cookies down. Kokichi suggested making two batches of each comedy Snoozdoodles, just in case.

"HIMIKO!!" Himiko's head shot up to see Ibuki above her rushing out of the school, followed by Himiko's other previous customers.
"Nyeh! You guys are already here?!" Himiko gasped.

"We just plainly couldn't wait to buy more of your cookies, Himiko!" Tsumugi said.
"Yeah, I had to admit, they were pretty good," Fuyuhiko admitted. "And I had a pretty cool dream after eating mine."
"As did I," Peko said.

"Yes! They were absolutely wonderful, Himiko!" Sonia said. "I adored my dream!"
"Meeeeee, tooooooo!!" Ibuki shouted.
"I want to be the first one to buy your cookies, Himiko!" Tenko cried. Kaito shoved her out of the way.
"No way! Me, first!" he said. Miu stepped on his foot, causing Kaito to cry out in pain.

"Outta the way, rocket man!" she spat. Everyone began arguing with each other about who was going to buy the cookies first.
"H-Heeey!!" Himiko screamed. Everyone went silent and turned to her. "U-Um...it doesn't matter who goes first, cuz...you'll each be able to get a cookie, okay? Now, please form a single file line. Fuyuhiko, you can go first."
"Awww, why a degenerate male?" Tenko whined. "Why can't it be meeee?"
"Tenko!" Himiko snapped sternly. Tenko abashedly hung her head and stood in line in front of the first boy after Fuyuhiko, which was Kaito. "Hmph!" Tenko flicked her braid at him. The line grew shorter as each customer bought a cookie, until Ibuki remained.
"I'm gonna tell everyone about your cookies, Himiko!" Ibuki said. "I can't wait to try these before I go to sleep!"
"I've already told lots of people about Himiko's Snoozydoodles!" Angie chimed in.
"Yeah, me, too!" Tenko said. "I told more people than Angie did!"
"It looks like you've got a busy day ahead of you," Maki said, eyeing a bunch of students heading towards Himiko's direction. Himiko braced herself.

"Hey, Himiko, I heard your cookies were pretty good," Makoto said. "Can I buy one?"
"I suppose I shall try one, too, just to see what the big deal is," Byakuya sighed reluctantly.

"I hear these mystical cookies give you the power of...pleasant dreams, yes?" Gundham asked.
"Nyeh...that's right," Himiko replied. "But, it's very important that you eat these cookies before you go to bed."
"That s-sounds very i-interesting," Mikan admitted.
"Hell, yeah! I could use a good, fuckin' dream!" Mondo agreed. "Hadn't had one in a while!"
"Well, I think it's suspicious," Byakuya said, eyeing Himiko with suspicion. "How are you able to bake cookies that give you good dreams after eating them?" Himiko felt her heart drop. She couldn't tell everyone about her magic, of course.
"I-It's an old family secret recipe, I guess," Himiko lied, trying to remain calm. "My grammy used to bake these cookies for me whenever I had nightmares, and so I decided to use her recipe to see if it would work on you guys, too."
"Tuh...such nonsense," Byakuya scoffed. Nevertheless, he took one of her Snoozydoodles and examined it. "I don't usually believe in foolishness like that, but I must admit, I am curious."
"So, hurry up and buy one already!" Kazuichi cried. "We wanna buy one, too, y'know!"
"Lowlife scum like you have no business pushing me around," Byakuya said. He then turned to Himiko to pay for his cookie. Himiko handed him a baggie for his Snoozydoodle. Without a word, Byakuya slipped the cookie inside and walked away.
"Finally!" Kazuichi picked a cookie, then paid. Next was Celeste, then Mondo, Kyoko, Makoto, Taka, Toko, Hifumi, Sakura, Chiaki, Hajime, Mikan, Nagito, and Kiyo. It was as if Himiko had struck gold. Her heart beat with excitement as she counted her money. It was the most money she'd ever made. She felt proud of herself.
"I'm actually excited about this!" Makoto admitted.

"You guys won't regret it! It's gonna be way cool!" Ibuki said.
"But, do we seriously have to eat this before bed?" Taka asked. "I brush before bed, and I don't think I should be eating cookies before bedtime! It's just not right!"
"You have to eat it before bed," Himiko insisted.
"C'mon, bro, it's just one cookie for just one night," Mondo said. "Don't be so wound up tight about it." Taka sighed and shrugged his shoulders reluctantly.
"Well, if those are Himiko's rules, I guess I should follow them," he muttered.

Later that afternoon, Himiko let out a happy sigh. She had managed to sell most of her cookies, save about ten, or so, and earned a total of ¥25,000. Even the others who were selling cookies went to her to buy some for themselves.
"Monkey Buns! That's a whole lot of cash!" Kokichi exclaimed, walking down Hope's Peak's front entrance stairs. Himiko smiled big at him.
"Nyeeeh...I sold lots of cookies today!" she said as Kokichi sauntered over to her.
"Nee-heehee...I can see that!" he said, proudly eyeing Himiko's nearly empty trays. "Bravo, Himiko!" He wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her cheek. "How does it feel?" Himiko flushed with pride.
"It feels good," she said shyly. "Thank you for not letting me give up on myself, Kokichi."

"I'm there for ya, babe," Kokichi replied with a wink.

Later that night, Himiko and Tenko were getting ready for bed. Tenko slipped under her pink blanket and reached for the baggie with the Snoozydoodle inside.
"I'm ready to eat your Snoozydoodle, Himiko!" she said. Himiko nodded to her. Tenko ate her cookie. "Mmph, dewicious!" she muffled. It wasn't long before she finished the cookie. Her eyelids began to droop. "That...was...so...so...del...ciou...sssss..." Tenko hit her pillow and snored deeply. She was out like a light, which reminded Himiko that she needed to turn their bedroom light off. As soon as Himiko stood up from her bed, she felt something wrap around her ankle.
"NYEEEEHHHH!!!" she screamed, jumping and flapping her hands around wildly. She looked down to see Kokichi laughing and crawling from underneath the bed, his hand still wrapped around her ankle. Himiko swatted his head.

"You idiot!! What are you doing down there?!" she hissed. "You scared the life outta me!!"

"Hahahahahaaa...I just wanted to see...a-hahahahaha...the effects of your Snoozydoodle...hahahaha...on Tenko," Kokichi said, still wheezing with laughter. He stood up and wiped a tear from his eye. "Phew! Man, that was funny!" Himiko swatted his arm.
"You're a doofus, Kokichi," she grumbled.
"Yeeaaahhh..." Kokichi said with a content sigh. "So, when should the Snoozydoodle take effect?" Before Himiko could respond, Tenko suddenly burst into laughter in her sleep. Kokichi and Himiko exchanged amused grins.
"Kirumi...smacked Kaito...with her broom...!" Tenko laughed.

"Slapstick comedy dream," Kokichi and Himiko said to each other simultaneously with sly grins. They watched for a bit longer as Tenko continued to laugh out loud while dreaming.
Part Fourteen
Himiko was just as successful Sunday afternoon with her Snoozydoodle sale. The word about her cookies had spread that nearly everyone from Hope's Peak lined up to try them, even her enemies, like Junko and Leon. The following Monday, Himiko woke up to get ready for school, when she noticed something absolutely creepy. As she turned her alarm off, she realized that everyone in Casa V3, except Kokichi, was in her room, staring at her in eerie silence.
"Nyeeeh...w-what's...going on?" Himiko murmured apprehensively.
"W-W-We...want more cookies," Tenko said in a jittery voice. "P-P-Please...Hi-Hi-Himiko?" She and the others were flinching and trembling, as if they were going through withdrawal.
"Um...no more cookies for now," Himiko said in a small voice. "It's Monday, after all."

"WHO CARES?!" Miu snapped irritably. "GO IN THAT KITCHEN AND MAKE US SOME MORE DAMN SNOOZY DOO-DOO'S, OR WHATEVER THE HELL YOU CALL 'EM, ALREADY!!" She started moaning and groping herself. "Ah-haaaah...my b-b-body...needs...m-m-more!! Hahahahaaa!" Himiko cringed.
"Um...I think you guys have had enough..." she said.
"Well, I say we haven't! So, hurry the hell up, Himiko!" Kaito demanded angrily. The others surrounded Himiko even closer.
"It's not cool to make us wait," Ryoma said, his eye twitching.
"Do you wanna die?" Maki threatened in a low voice, reaching at Himiko's throat. Himiko shook her head fearfully. "Then, make us more Snoozydoodles...now." Everyone then began chanting monotonously in an unsettling manner.
"Snoozydoodles...Snoozydoodles...Snoozydoodles...Snoozydoodles...Snoozydoodles..." they chanted as they closed in on Himiko. Himiko huddled closer to the wall, covering herself with her blanket.
"KOKICHIIIIII!!!" she screamed over the loud, repetitive chanting.
"Move it! Get out of the way!" came Kokichi's voice as he barged through the students grabbing at Himiko. Squeezing in between Kirumi and Rantaro, Kokichi held his arms out to Himiko. "Himiko! Grab on!" Himiko reached out and grabbed Kokichi's hands. He pulled her through the crowd, still grabbing at Himiko. Gonta grabbed Himiko's ankles before she and Kokichi could escape. Himiko squeaked with fear as she and Kokichi looked at him. His expression was blank, cold, and uncaring, very much unlike his usual cheerful and warm demeanor.
"Gonta no can let you leave, Himiko," he growled as he grabbed Himiko's ankles tighter. Himiko yelped in pain.
"Let her go!!" Kokichi demanded. He leaned forward and bit Gonta's hand as hard as he could. Gonta reeled back in pain, releasing Himiko from his grip. Kokichi managed to pull Himiko away from the crowd. He led her down the stairs. Himiko cried out in pain on the way down. Her ankles still hurt. Kokichi scooped her up in his arms and carried her the rest of the way down the stairs. The others were pursuing them like an angry mob. Kokichi opened the door to Casa V3 and ran outside, still carrying Himiko. He carried her all the way to Hope's Peak.
"It won't be long before they find us here," Kokichi said, gently placing Himiko down. "Can you walk?" Himiko took a few steps. Most of the pain was gone, but she felt that she was able to manage.
"Yeah...I'm good," she said with a nod.

"So, they're now addicted to your cookies, huh?" Kokichi said. Himiko sighed and plopped herself on the floor.

"Yeah..." she muttered. "I guess even mixed with other ingredients, the dream powder is too much."
"I guess it was a smart move for me not to eat those cookies," Kokichi said. Himiko nodded in agreement. She loved Kokichi sane, and wanted him to stay that way. Kokichi tapped his chin in thought. "So, how do we get out of this one, Monkey Buns?" Himiko sighed heavily.
"I don't know..." she mumbled with a despondent shrug. "It's not easy erasing the effects of the dream powder."
"Wow...so, everyone's gonna be a Snoozydoodle addict from now on," Kokichi sighed. "Geez, what a nightmare!" Himiko suddenly perked up. She looked at Kokichi.
"Nyeh...what did you say?!" she exclaimed.
"Hm? I said everyone's going to be addicted to your Snoozydoodles from now on...what a nightmare," Kokichi repeated. Himiko broke out into a huge smile.
"Th-That's it!" she cried. "I know how to-"
"Look! There she is!!" cried the voice of Kazuichi, who was pointing directly at Himiko. Kokichi and Himiko looked down the hall to see students from both 7th Island House and Hope House.
"Don't let her get away!" Hina cried.
"Time to make like Blue and Skidoo, HimiCocoa Bean!" Kokichi said, pulling Himiko up from the floor. They ran back towards the entrance of the school, but it was blocked by the students of Casa V3. Kokichi and Himiko were surrounded.
"Snoozydoodles...Snoozydoodles...Snoozydoodles..." everyone chanted as they closed in on Kokichi and Himiko. Some of them even had lines of drool spilling from their mouths. Kokichi wrapped his arms protectively around Himiko.
"Uh...Kokichi...what do we do?" Himiko asked in fear.

"Didn't you say you had a plan?" Kokichi murmured.
"I-I think I do..." Himiko said.

"Well...now would be a good time to do something," Kokichi replied, backing up against a wall.
"E-Everyone...wait!" Himiko yelled. The crowd before them stopped.
"We want Snoozydoodles, and we want them now!" Mahiru demanded impatiently. The others murmured in agreement.
"Um...I know, I know," Himiko said. "I've heard your pleas, and I promise you guys that I'll make some more Snoozydoodles today!" The crowd cheered eagerly. "All I ask is that you give me some time, and they should be ready by the time school ends." The crowd cheered even louder.

"Uhh...you sure you know what you're doing?" Kokichi whispered in Himiko's ear.
"Nyeh...I do, trust me," Himiko whispered back confidently. Kokichi held up his hands in surrender, letting Himiko do her thing.
"Now...if you'll excuse us, we have to leave now," Himiko said. The crowd parted like the Red Sea, and Kokichi and Himiko walked through the crowd confidently. As soon as they left the school, Kokichi pulled Himiko aside.
"What's the plan, Monkey Buns?" he asked. With a devious grin, Himiko leaned in to whisper in Kokichi's ear. As he listened, a devious grin of his own began to spread across his face, as well.
"Now, that's my Supreme Lady," Kokichi said proudly in response to Himiko's plan, stroking her cheek affectionately.

"Snoozydoodles! Get your Snoozydoodles here!" Himiko announced. Some students smiled kindly at her, but continued to walk. Other students scoffed or snorted at her, ignoring her completely. Himiko sighed. "It's no use." Three went up to her.
"Don't give up, Himiko!" she said. "Um...maybe it would help if you gave them a reason to want your cookies."
"What do you mean?" Himiko asked.

"Instead of waiting for customers to buy your cookies, do something to lure them in!" Three suggested. Three spied Kaito and Maki walking towards the school. "Ooo! There's some people! You know them?"
"Yeah, that's Kaito and Maki," Himiko said.
"Maybe there's a way for you to draw them in," Three said. Himiko took a glance at her glittery snickerdoodles, and thought the perfect way to convince one of them. She jumped right in front of Kaito and Maki.
"'Space...the final frontier!'" she announced dramatically. "'These are the travels of the starship, Booby Prize! Its continuing mission to explore strange new galaxies! To look for new life and new civilizations! To boldly go where no one has gone before!'" Kaito's mouth hung agape in amazement.
"Hey! You know the opening sequence to Cosmic Quest! " he exclaimed. "That was pretty good, Himiko!"
"Nyeh...if you liked that, then I think you'd like my Snoozydoodles!" Himiko said, gesturing to her cookies.
"Snoozydoodles?" Maki repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"You made space cookies?!" Kaito shouted excitedly.
"Come see for yourself," Himiko said with a sly grin. Kaito hurried over, pulling Maki along. Maki noticed Three standing next to Himiko's table.
"Who are you?" she asked.
"Just a friend," Three simply answered.
"Whooaaaa!! Maki Roll, look at these cookies, Maki Roll!!!" Kaito shouted, holding up a cookie with both hands. "They look like stars, or somethin!'"
"But, why are they called Snoozydoodles?" Maki asked Himiko.
"Nyeh...I made those cookies special," Himiko explained. "You hafta eat them right before you go to sleep."
"What'll happen then?" Kaito asked.
"You'll have to wait and see," Himiko replied, grinning mysteriously.
"This sounds like a prank Kokichi made up," Maki mumbled skeptically.
"No, it's not a prank, I promise," Himiko assured.
"Ha! I believe her!" Kaito said as Three handed him a small baggie to put his Snoozydoodle in.
"What else is new?" Maki muttered. "But...if Kaito will believe you, I guess I'll be an idiot, too." She and Kaito both paid Himiko ¥500.
"Hey! Did you just call me an idiot?" Kaito said with a frown. Maki merely smiled and rolled her eyes. The two started walking away. "I'm serious, Maki! Is that what you meant?" Himiko turned to Three excitedly.
"Wow! I had customers who weren't my friends!" she squealed.
"Eeee! Yay!" Three said. "You really knew how to handle that guy!"
"It's not hard, really," Himiko shrugged. "All you gotta do is talk about space."
"Well, space is pretty cool," Three admitted, nodding her head. "But, in this case, it's good that that guy's so obsessed with it."
"Nyeh...I think I'm ready to try someone else now!" Himiko said, now feeling energized.
"Look! Here comes a girl! And, wow! She looks really cool!" Three said, pointing to Ibuki, who was skipping her way to the school.
"That's Ibuki," Himiko said. She thought she'd try matching Ibuki's energy. "Nyeh...hiiii, Ibukiiii!!" Ibuki noticed Himiko and went over to her with a big grin.
"Hellooooo, Himikooooo!!" she shouted.
"I hope you like lotsa color and sparkles!!" Himiko said. She was already feeling tired from talking like Ibuki, but she forced herself to keep smiling and talking in Ibuki's overly-cheerful manner.
"Of course! Color and sparkles make the world go 'round!" Ibuki cried.
"Then, how about you try my Snoozydoodles?" Himiko suggested, gesturing to her cookies. Ibuki gasped.
"GAAAASSSSP!!! THESE LOOK SO AMAZING!!!" she cried.
"You want one?" Himiko asked.
"Yeah! Can I have a pink one and a blue one to match?" Ibuki asked, pointing to her arms and hair.
"Nyeh...sure! That'll be ¥1000," Himiko said. Ibuki paid for her cookies, and opened her mouth to take a bite of the pink one. "Wait, Ibuki!!" Ibuki stopped.
"Huh? What's wrong?" she asked.
"Uh...b-before you eat that, you should know that they're called Snoozydoodles because you're supposed to eat them right before you go to sleep," Himiko said. Ibuki's eyes widened.
"Really?!" she exclaimed.
"That's right!" Himiko handed her two baggies. "There you go!"
"Yeee-haw!! I can't wait!!" Ibuki shouted. "Ibuki's so excited to eat these that she might not even be able to sleep!"
That's what you think, Himiko thought to herself.
"Well, thanks, Himiko! Good luck selling your Snoozydoodles!" Ibuki skipped away, leaving Himiko to sigh deeply.
"Hee-hee...she was a ball of energy," Three giggled.
"I know. I don't know how she can stand it," Himiko muttered tiredly.
"Hey, look! More people!" Three said. Himiko turned and spied Fuyuhiko and Peko. She rubbed her palms together.
"Nyeh...I think I know how to get them," she said. "I've always wanted to do this." She sat down on the flat end of school's front entrance's brick banister. She sat up straight, crossed her legs, and stared ahead, stone-faced while curving the corners of her lips downward. Fuyuhiko raised a brow, but smiled curiously as he and Peko slowly approached Himiko.
"Uhh...Himiko? What are you doing?" he asked.
"Fuyuhiko, my boy, thank you for coming here on this very...very important day," Himiko said in a raspy voice as she reached out to straighten Fuyuhiko's suit. Fuyuhiko uttered a small chuckle, realizing that Himiko was trying to imitate Vito Corleone from The Godfather. "Now, listen...I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse."
"Okay, dork, show me what'cha got," Fuyuhiko said, chuckling. Himiko hopped up off the banister. Using her two fingers, she gestured to Fuyuhiko and Peko to follow her.
"Come," she said, still putting on a voice. She gestured grandly to her cookies. "These are the greatest cookies ever known to man. If you were a dope, you'd leave right now. But, you're not a dope, are ya, Fuyuhiko?" Still smiling, Fuyuhiko shook his head in awe.
"No, Himiko, I guess not," he replied. Himiko picked up a cookie.
"Then, here, take a Snoozydoodle," she said before nodding to Peko. "And one for the dame, too." Fuyuhiko handed Peko the cookie, and took one for himself.
"I'll pay for the both of us, Peko," Fuyuhiko offered, and paid ¥1000.
"There's only a minor thing about the cookies," Himiko continued. "You're supposed to eat them right before getting conked." Fuyuhiko smiled quizzically at her.
"Getting conked?! " he repeated.
"Yeah...y'know, in other 'woids,' before youse guys go to sleep," Himiko explained. Fuyuhiko laughed and shook his head.
"Got it," he replied. Himiko handed him and Peko a couple of baggies for their Snoozydoodles. "Thanks, Himiko. Y'know, I can see why Kokichi digs you. You are pretty cute." Himiko blushed.
"Oh, stoooop," she said bashfully, breaking character. "Oh! Um, I mean...Don't call me cute, or it'll be 'coitans' for you, punk." Fuyuhiko laughed again.
"If you say so, Himiko," he said before waving goodbye to Himiko.
Part Ten
Two hours had passed, and Himiko earned a total of ¥9500. She wished she had made more, but it was much better than the day before.
"Nyeh...thanks for helping me out, Keiko," Himiko said with a grateful smile.
"Nooo problemooo!" Three replied. "That was fun! Maybe I can come by next weekend and help out again!"
"Heeey, that's a pretty swell idea for someone who's slacking on the job!" came Kokichi's voice. Himiko and Three turned to see him peering at them from over the brick banister. He walked down the steps and joined them. Himiko and Three glanced at each other frantically.
"B-Boss! I was, um...I-I..." Three stammered. "It's not what it looks like! I was just...dropping by, and I-"
"Yeah, Kokichi! She wasn't helping me, honest!" Himiko chimed in, coming to Three's defense.
"I was just giving her moral support, and maybe some advice," Three said. "But, I promise, I'll go right back to-" Kokichi held up his hand to silence her.
"Very well," he said. "Return to headquarters, Three."
"Okay, boss," Three said, pouting. She dashed off, waving goodbye to Himiko, who waved back. Then, Himiko turned to Kokichi.
"Kokichi? Are you mad at her?" she asked in a small voice. "Are you mad at me, too?"
"I'm not mad at either of you," Kokichi said. Himiko stared back in uncertain silence. "It's not a lie, Himiko. I'm really not mad."
"Oh, but...why do you seem...not happy?" Himiko asked.
"Because Three has business elsewhere," Kokichi replied. "She wasn't supposed to come here."
"Oh..." Himiko said quietly. Kokichi sighed and nonchalantly shrugged his shoulders.
"Seeing as she was assisting the Supreme Lady, though, I'll let it slide this time," he said. "But, I need to have a talk with her about shirking her responsibilities."
"Oh, but...with her support, I made ¥9500," Himiko said, showing Kokichi her earnings. Kokichi's eyes lit up.
"Really?! Way to go, Monkey Buns!" he said, nodding with respect.
"How much did you make?" Himiko asked, afraid to find out.
"Not as much as yesterday," Kokichi said. "Just ¥25000."
"Oh..." Himiko muttered disappointedly. Kokichi held her shoulders firmly.
"Don't be so down, Himiko," he said. "What you earned...it's a start. I'm sure you'll get better later."
"Well, it's just that...I don't understand how you make so much when nearly everybody hates you," Himiko sighed. "And, no matter how much they hate you, they'd still rather buy from you than me."
"Well, even though I'm annoying to most people, I'm always confident in my abilities," Kokichi said. "I know how to give people just the right amount of intrigue. You can do that, too, Monkey Buns! You did make ¥9500 after all! By the way, what advice did Three give you?"
"Well, she said that I should find a way to lure customers in," Himiko said, remembering Three's words. "That I should give them a reason to buy my cookies, rather than waiting around for someone to."
"She's right," Kokichi nodded. "And, how did you do that?" Himiko smiled modestly.
"Well...all I did was recite the Cosmic Quest opening to Kaito, hoping it would interest him enough to try one of my cookies, which kinda looked like outer space," Himiko answered. "Then, I imitated Ibuki as a form of flattery, and then I pretended to be that guy from The Godfather to appeal to Fuyuhiko's 'yakuz-y' nature. Nyeh...he even said I was cute for that."
"Ooo, so you have a crush on Fuyuhiko, now?" Kokichi teased.
"No!!" Himiko cried. "You're already my boyfriend!"
"That's right!" Kokichi said dramatically, wrapping his arms around Himiko protectively and kissing her cheek. "Mwah! You're my Supreme Lady. Mwah! And I love you. Mwah! So very much. Mwah!" Himiko giggled.
"Gross! You're getting your slobber all over me!" she exclaimed. Kokichi blew on her cheek, making a rumbly sound. Himiko laughed even harder. "KOKICHI!!" Kokichi chuckled and kissed her lips.
"I'm proud of you, Himiko," he said, patting her shoulder. "Were they the only customers you had, though?"
"No, Tenko, Angie, and Tsumugi also bought some cookies," Himiko said. "And after Fuyuhiko was Ryoma, Sonia, Celeste, Makoto, Mikan, Miu, and Gonta bought some, as well."
"Heeeey, look at you, being a salesgirl!" Kokichi said, giving Himiko a high five. Himiko blushed bashfully. "Sooo...ready to go?" Kokichi asked her, casually sticking his hands in his pockets.
"Nyeh...yeah," Himiko replied. "I've had enough funny business for one day." Kokichi's smile faded, and frowned.
"Did Three teach you that, too?" he asked. Himiko stood still like a deer in headlights.
"Y-Yeah...why? What's wrong?" she stammered. Kokichi sighed deeply shook his head.
"Three knows better than that. That should only be said to official members of the organization," Kokichi explained.
"Oh! But...I'm the Supreme Lady, I thought," Himiko said.
"Not officially," Kokichi pointed out.
"But...I don't understand," Himiko said, genuinely confused. "You tell me stuff about your organization all the time."
"Only the basic things you need to know," Kokichi said. "But, if you wanna know all the secrets in how we operate, you have to be an official member."
"Oh..." Himiko mumbled. "Nyeh...you really do take your job as Supreme Leader seriously, huh, Kokichi?"
"I do...which is kinda ironic, considering what we do," Kokichi said thoughtfully. "But, if I let everyone act all willy-nilly, the organization would go to pieces. What kind of Supreme Leader would I be if I let that happen?"
"Well, I guess you're right," Himiko said. "But, please, don't be mad at Three, Kokichi. She really helped me!"
"Alright, alright..." Kokichi sighed, holding up his hands in surrender. "But, I do need to have a serious talk with her. Aaaanyhoo, let's get ready to go back home." Himiko nodded, and the two cleaned up Himiko's area.
"Nyeh...I hope they end up liking my cookies," Himiko said on the way home. "Or even bothered to remember not to eat them until right before going to sleep."
"Well...you sold them a pretty interesting cookie, HimiCocoa Bean," Kokichi said. "I'm sure you've intrigued them enough form them to remember. We'll have to wait tomorrow to find out what they thought of them."

Himiko slouched in her seat during class with her head propped into the palm of her hand as her history teacher, Mr. Tezuki, droned on. Her eyelids were about to droop completely when, suddenly, a small, flat, square object flew onto her desk. She snapped to attention, too afraid to scream. She realized that it was just a folded piece of paper. She smiled and turned around to see Kokichi, who was waving to her a few desks behind. Even though they could have just texted each other like normal teenagers, Kokichi loved the old school way of passing notes because they were more likely to be caught by Mr. Tezuka, which made things challenging and far more exciting. Himiko opened up the folded note, and read in Kokichi's playful handwriting:
Mr. Tezuka's kinda boring, huh? Himiko smiled and rolled her eyes.
Well...kinda, she replied. I am trying to keep myself from falling asleep. Feeling safe enough to pass the note back, she turned to Kokichi and swiftly flung it back to him. He opened the note and giggled at what she wrote. He wrote his response, and chucked the note back to Himiko.
Sooo...what'cha doin' after school? Himiko thought to herself. She didn't really have any plans other than the usual: go home, take a nap, wake up, eat dinner, then hang out with Kokichi until bedtime. Nothing different. She finally scribbled her response.
Same old, same old. She then folded the note back up. Making sure Mr. Tezuka's back was still turned to her, she quickly whirled around and tossed the note back to Kokichi. Some of the students rolled their eyes in annoyance. Kokichi scribbled his next response, then tossed it back.
Boooring! Wanna hang out after school, instead? Himiko frowned in confusion. She turned back to Kokichi, who was grinning slyly at her. She turned back to the note and wrote:
But...we pretty much always do that. She tossed the note back to Kokichi. She watched Kokichi grinning mischievously as he wrote. He tossed the note back to Himiko.
I have a feeling we'll have no choice this time. Himiko stared at it, completely puzzled. What in the world was he talking about?
"Miss Yumeno, are you paying attention?" the teacher asked. Himiko gasped and looked up. The teacher had his arms crossed, and was tapping his foot expectantly.
"No!" Taka answered. "She and Kokichi have been passing around notes while you weren't looking!"
"Geez...nobody likes a snitch, y'know?" Kazuichi said.
"But, it's true!" Taka continued. "And not only is it true, it's also very disruptive!" He looked back and forth between Kokichi and Himiko. "Kokichi, Himiko, you should think more about your classmates, and not yourselves! Think of all the learning you're missing out on!"
"Wooow, you're right, Taka!" Kokichi replied with a cheeky grin. "My bad! Hey! Maybe Mr. Tezuka can totally forgive us for not paying attention in class, riiight, Mr. Tezuka? Besides, there's nothing juicy written on that note, anyways, so it's not like we'll get in trouble for it!" Himiko's eyes widened as she remembered the first thing Kokichi had written down, and her response to it. She turned and shook her head furiously at him, trying to get him to shut up. Kokichi merely kept grinning at her. "Yup! There's no reason why we should be in trouble!" Mr. Tezuka narrowed his eyes suspiciously at Kokichi.
"Miss Yumeno...the note?" he said, holding his hand out to Himiko. Himiko sighed as she gingerly handed him the note, glaring at Kokichi. Mr. Tezuka read it and sighed. "Glad to know I bore some of my students, and that you two find it very amusing. If you think it's boring in here with me, Mr. Ouma and Miss Yumeno, just think how bored you'll be...in detention." Himiko gasped and stared at him in horror.
"Nyeeeeh...detention?!" she exclaimed.
"May Neptune have mercy on your soul," Mr. Tezuka droned. "Now...moving on..." Himiko couldn't believe it. She'd never been in detention before. She felt like shaking some sense into Kokichi. She turned to him with an incredulous expression, but all he did was smile and shrug in response. She felt a lump in her throat as she tried to keep tears from falling out of her eyes. The only thing that stopped them from falling was Usami suddenly appearing seemingly out of nowhere in front of the classroom.
"Attention, students! I have an important announcement!" she announced grandly.
"Greeeaaat," Mr. Tezuka sighed, plopping himself in his chair.
"I would like to announce that Hope's Peak will be doing the annual surprise field trip next month!" Usami continued.
"Surprise field trip?!" Sonia repeated. "You mean...a field trip that is completely a surprise?!"
"Yes...hence the words, 'surprise field trip,' " Usami said. "Next month on the 11th, all students at Hope's Peak Academy will be taken to a surprise location! But...in order to make the trip possible, some of you students will have to volunteer for the ever-popular cookie sale to raise money!"
"That shouldn't be too difficult, right?" Sayaka said, glancing over at Teruteru. "After all, Teruteru is the Ultimate Coo-...er, Chef. I'm sure he can bake the best cookies ever!"
"That's right!" Hina agreed. "On his own, he can raise enough money for, like, two trips, or something!"
"I'm very happy to hear two amazingly cute girls like yourselves have so much faith in my abilities as a chef," Teruteru said, eyeing Sayaka and Hina lustfully. "By the way, what are you two doing after school?"
"Ugh...not you, creep!" Hina scoffed in disgust, holding her hand up to him.
"No need to worry, Usami," Angie chimed in. "We can leave this all up to Teruteru!"
"Ha! We'll be goin' on that surprise trip by the time this week is over!" Miu said cockily.
"That's a relief," Kazuichi said. "I sure as heck didn't think anyone would wanna do this."
"I actually did," Rantaro admitted. "But, if it's going to be that easy with Teruteru around, I guess there's no point in the rest of us doing anything, huh?" The others murmured in agreement. Kokichi had to admit that selling cookies sounded like fun, especially if it meant conning people. He eyed Teruteru deviously. Everyone was relying on him to sell cookies, but Kokichi had other plans for him.
After class ended, Himiko stomped out of the classroom, not bothering to wait for Kokichi. She didn't care about cookies. She didn't care about the surprise field trip. She didn't care about anything but wanting today to end already. She angrily threw open her locker door, thrusting her history book into it.
"Himiko!" Kokichi ran up to Himiko. Himiko ignored him, grabbing her book for next class. "Himiko...come on." Kokichi gently tugged at the hem of her jacket, trying to get her attention. Himiko continued to ignore him as she slammed her locker door shut and marched off. Kokichi blocked her path and sighed with a look of genuine guilt on his face. "Okay, okay...I'm sorry I got you in trouble, Himiko." Himiko eyed him like she wanted to strangle him.
"Why did you do that?!" she growled. Kokichi gently pulled her to the side so they could talk without getting in the way of the other students.
"Just thought it'd be something different," he replied with a small shrug.
"Something different?!" Himiko repeated.
"Yeah, I mean...like you said in the note, you're always doing the same old thing everyday after school," Kokichi explained.
"And, so you thought you'd drag me to detention?!" Himiko hissed.
"Not you, us," Kokichi corrected. "And, sure, why not?" Himiko stared at him in utter disbelief. Kokichi chuckled. "Look, Himiko, detention's not that bad. Especially if this is your first time. All you do is just sit in a classroom and talk or do homework for, like, an hour, or two. You're not gonna get suspended, or expelled, or go to prison, or anything like that. It's not bad, I promise." Himiko calmed down a little.
"And you mean it?" she mumbled.
"Yup!" Kokichi replied. "It's only bad if you keep getting detention over and over again, but seeing as this is your first time, you'll be alright, Monkey Buns." He patted her shoulder comfortingly. Himiko sighed.
"Well...okay, then," Himiko said. "But, I'm still a little mad at you." Kokichi poked his lower lip out and leaned his forehead against Himiko's.
"Aw...I just wanted to hang out with my Monkey Buns," he said.
"Then all you had to do was invite me to the park, or to the ice cream parlor, or something not related to delinquency," Himiko said.
"But we've been to those places already," Kokichi said.
"You've been to detention before," Himiko pointed out.
"Mm-hmm, but you haven't," Kokichi replied, wiggling an eyebrow at her. Himiko sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Okaaaay," she mumbled.
"Sweet!" Kokichi said, and kissed her cheek. "I'll pick you up from your last class, and we'll go to the detention room from there, 'kay? Besides, we have some things to talk about!"
"Nyeh? Like what?"
"Nee-heehee...I'll tell you in detentiiiooon," Kokichi sang. Himiko shook her head at him.
"You're not making this any easier for me," she said.

"Tell you what, HimiCocoa Bean, on the way back from detention, we'll swing by the convenience store, and I'll buy you aaanything you want, m'kay?" Kokichi offered. A smile crept across Himiko's face.
"Nyeh...now you're talking," she answered.
Part Two
Hand in hand, Kokichi walked Himiko to the detention classroom located in the basement of Hope's Peak.
"Nyeh...why is the detention classroom in the basement?" Himiko asked as she and Kokichi headed deeper down the stairs into the dark. They came to a corridor with many doors on either side. It looked more like a dungeon than a school basement. At the end of the long corridor was a lone door, and that's where Kokichi and Himiko were headed.
"Pretty creepy, huh?" Kokichi said, grinning with amusement. "It's part of the reason why I wanted you to come here."
"It feels more like...like...we're going to our execution, or something," Himiko said, holding tighter to Kokichi's hand.
"Right?" Kokichi said. "I can hear the execution music going, 'wah-wah-wah-wah-wah-wah-oooo-wah-wah-wah!'"
"What song is that?" Himiko asked, raising a brow. Kokichi shrugged.
"I dunno...it just seems like that's how execution music would go," he said. They reached the door and Kokichi opened it. The room was in chaos. Himiko was surprised to see a few people in there, like Ibuki, Toko, Mukuro, and Ryoma. The others, Leon, Yasuhiro, Hifumi, Junko, Mondo, Hiyoko, and Akane...not so much. Leon was shooting spitballs at Hifumi, Ibuki was playing loud punk music on her headphones while headbanging and air guitaring, Toko was busy screaming her head off at Ibuki because she needed to concentrate on her next book, Junko was talking and laughing obnoxiously to someone on her smartphone while Mukuro stood next to her with a sad face, Mondo was arm wrestling Hiro, who was screaming from the pain, Akane was hopping across the desks like they were an obstacle course of some sort, Hiyoko was shouting at everyone to shut up, and Ryoma merely sat there, throwing paper airplanes at nothing in particular. The librarian in charge of the students, Miss Yamane, merely ignored the students as she sat at the large desk in front of the classroom, reading a book. Himiko stood there in dumbfounded silence. Kokichi grinned impishly at her.
"Welcome to detention, Monkey Buns," he said, and led her inside. They checked in with Miss Yamane before sitting down. Kokichi pulled a desk right next to his so that Himiko would be close to him. "Incoming spitball!" he warned, and grabbed Himiko. They both ducked as Leon shot another spitball at Hifumi.
"Mr. Kuwata, stop that right now!" Hifumi demanded.
"Hahaha...make me, fatty!" Leon sneered, and shot another spitball. Then, he pointed at Himiko. "Hey, look! It's the little witch bitch!" Everyone stopped what they wee doing and looked at Himiko in surprise.
"Himiko? What are you doing here?" Ibuki asked in shock.
"So far...not liking it," Himiko muttered.
"I can help you with that," Leon said. He wadded a small piece of paper up and popped it into his mouth, making sure to make it extra wet with his saliva. He put the straw up to his mouth and shot a spitball at Himiko. It landed on her cheek with a wet smack!
"H-Heeey!!" she cried in disgust. Kokichi wiped it off of her.
"Hey, Leon! Nobody makes my Supreme Lady wet but me!" Kokichi cried. He pulled out a rubber band and shot it at Leon, striking him right between the eyes.
"OW!!!" Leon screamed. Kokichi kept shooting rubber bands at Leon. Leon tried to block, but the rubber bands hurt his hands and arms, as well. "Ow! Ouch!! Stop tha-OUCH, DUDE!!! I GET IT!!! JUST STOP!!!" Kokichi finally stopped. Leon glared at Kokichi as he rubbed the spots on his body that were hit by the rubber bands. Kokichi sat back down and checked on Himiko.
"You okay, HimiCocoa Bean?" he asked. Himiko nodded.
"Yeah," she replied. "How long do we have to stay here again?"
"About two hours," Kokichi replied. Himiko sighed.
"I don't think I'll be able to last," she said.
"Oh...you'll do fine," Kokichi replied nonchalantly.
"Are these guys always in detention?" Himiko asked, looking around.
"Most of them," Kokichi answered. "Toko and Hifumi aren't here as often as everyone else here." Himiko looked over at Mukuro.
"Nyeh...but, what about Mukuro?" Himiko asked. "I don't think she ever misbehaves, or anything."
"She doesn't, but you know how Junko likes dragging her everywhere she goes like she's Junko's personal slave," Kokichi said. Himiko nodded. She felt bad for Mukuro.
"Moo Cow, my feet are getting tired," Junko said, snapping at Mukuro before pointing to the ground. Mukuro sighed and crouched down in front of Junko's desk. Junko placed her feet right on top of Mukuro's back.
"Poor Mukuro," Himiko said softly.
"Welp, not much we can do about that," Kokichi said with a shrug. "Besides, now that we're here, I wanna tell you about the important thing." Himiko brightened a little.
"Oh, yeah!" she said. "What was it?"
"I was thinking that you and I should sell some cookies for the surprise field trip!" Kokichi replied.

"But...I thought everyone was okay with Teruteru selling the cookies on his own," Himiko said.
"Nah, he won't be able to do all that," Kokichi said, waving his hand dismissively. "After all, he's just one guy."
"But he's the Ultimate Chef," Himiko said.
"Trust me, Himiko...his ultimate title won't mean anything," Kokichi said with a devious grin. Himiko still might not know everything about Kokichi, but she spent enough time around him to recognize that grin. He was definitely up to something. She raised a suspicious brow at him.
"What are you-" Himiko began.
"You know, I was thinking about making it a couple competition," Kokichi interrupted. "You know, boyfriend against girlfriend. It's fun being on the same team, but I think it'll also be fun to compete against each other every now and then, too! Know what I mean? We'll see who earns more money in the end!"
"Nyeh...believe me, it won't be much of a competition," Himiko muttered, fiddling with the brim of her hat. "You'll probably win by a landslide."
"You don't know that," Kokichi said. "Where's your competitive spirit, Himiko?"
"I never had one," Himiko replied. "I figured that's something you're born with, and I definitely wasn't born with it."
"You don't need to be born with it, you just need the right attitude," Kokichi said. "You're definitely not gonna sell more cookies if you're moping around all the time, y'know."
"So, you agree with Kaito, then?" Himiko asked, crossing her arms. "The impossible is possible, all you gotta do is make it so?" Kokichi rolled his eyes.
"Himiko, it's not impossible for you to sell cookies," he said. "You just have to-"
"Believe in myself?" Himiko asked with a smirk.
"Be...smart about it," Kokichi corrected.
"In that case, I definitely won't win," Himiko said.
"Himiko, you really need to stop underestimating yourself," Kokichi said with a frown. "How do you know you're not good at something if you won't even try? If you keep talking the way you do, you've already set yourself up for failure. How about instead of whining about how dumb you think you are, try challenging yourself so you can see what you're truly capable of." Himiko looked hurt.
"Sorry," she said, scrunching her shoulders. Kokichi sighed and placed his hand on Himiko's shoulder.
"Look, Himiko, you don't have to do this if you don't want to, but I think you should at least think about it," he said. "It wouldn't hurt to give yourself a chance." Himiko nodded sheepishly.
"Okay..." she said. "I'll think about it."

The fire that swallowed her kingdom felt cold. Bright reds and flaming oranges should have brought immense heat as they turned to ash everything that the Kingdom once stood for, everything that the Princess knew, but it felt cold.
Very cold.
Maybe that is why she was shivering on the balcony overlooking the fall of her Kingdom.
Calling it hers was a stretch, but it felt like it should have been hers, at least in spirit.
Ophelia was the middle child of King Polonius. She was not an important child by any means - daughter of some lower concubine, born sometime between the birth of an heir and all the other children. More clever, prettier, wittier and far more important children. She was lovely, sure, but not as beautiful as Princess Maria. She was clever, but nowhere near Prince Jacob or Princess Sonia. She was talented in the arts, but her talents were pathetic in comparison to Princess Aria and Helena. Sure, she was at least not as mean as the heir, Prince Matthew or as cruel as Princess Illyria.
Ophelia was no one of importance.
That was until a few months ago.
It all started with a few smaller rebellions and some protests from disgruntled citizens. All falling kingdoms start that way. The king dismissed the protests, always sending his army to squash them in brutal ways.
While her other siblings were trying to gaud the king into taking harsher measures or were just ignoring the issues to pursue their leisures, Ophelia was the only one who tried to say something for the people revolting.
For that, she was locked off to a lonely spire and told she will wait here until they found a suitable husband for her.
Soon enough, news spread to the kingdom of the marriage of Princess Ophelia and Ser Gaston, the King’s favourite butcher. A fifth son of a middle-range family, known as the man the King would send to get rid of peasants and perform public executions. The young Princess wept for her fate, knowing that she’d be the third wife of the man who most likely murdered the first two. All women that her father wanted to be rid of.
What Ophelia didn’t know was that the words of her impending doomed marriage reached the ears of a certain man, a man with who she had a past with.
She also did not know how the man raised his weapon in opposition to the Royal Family. He was the one who organised the people of the Kingdom to protest their corrupt Royal family, the one who showed them how to fight back. He was the one who led raids that toppled the King’s army again and again and again until he was at the door of the palace.
Ophelia knew only when it was too late.
Her guard threw open the door and dragged her out to the front gate where the people were collecting, weapons in hand.
“Here!” She heard her father bellow as he grabbed Ophelia from her guard, dragged her closer to the crowd and threw her at their feet. She fell with a sob as she realised that her father would sacrifice her to the mob.
She lifted her head to see him, sitting atop of his horse, the helmet blocking his face from view. But she saw all the other people, the ones whom her family ruled off. They failed them.
So, the princess shifted and fixed her dress, before she bowed her head in front of the people.
The crowd erupted in screams and shouts and it all quickly erupted.
The gates came crumbling down and as she expected herself to be crushed, she was lifted atop a horse and then passed around, going from one raider to another, before he took her inside.
That man kept her in a small room, one that the maids used to do the washing. It was there where she washed her face and the dirt from her dress, just so she could greet her rightful execution.
The fighting lasted for so long that the day waned into the night. She even grew numb to the screams at one point.
Just when she thought she might pass out from exhaustion the door opened and the guard that brought her there approached her and offered her his hand to help her stand. A rare act of kindness.
So, the young princess took his hand and let him guide her through her home. Many paintings were slashed, and statues and vases were laid in pieces all around her. There was so much blood around.
“The leader will be with you shortly.” The guard said and bowed to her. Odd - why would he bow to someone whom he hated? She replied with a polite nod and looked around. The Empress’s chambers - they were never used as her father preferred having concubines rather than the one Empress.
So, she stepped inside and went to the balcony where she watched the rebels burn pictures and things her father possessed. She saw her family’s heads on the walls.
She did not even flinch when she heard the door behind her open. It must be her turn.
The princess turned around to see him, the man who haunted every dream and nightmare she had.
Finally, the man approached her, throwing down his bloody helmet and sword.
“You must know,” He spoke as they came face to face “I burnt it all for you.”

Hello and welcome to an idea that’s been consuming my whole existence. Basically, that long introduction boils down to this: a detested princess speaks on behalf of a rebellion which leads to her being thrown into the dungeons which motivates the people to raise and burn it all down with the man who loves her on the helm of it all.
Who he is, I leave it up to you! A prince of a different kingdom who fell for her while on infiltration to make the kingdom unstable so he could take over? A duke whose family has been wronged by the royals who only received any comfort from the princess? A knight who protected her all along being dismissed when she was thrown into the dungeons and he feels like he should protect his lady love? Or perhaps, he was the true villain all along, a scholar who orchestrated the raising so he could have the one woman he liked?
The possibilities are endless!
What I primarily want from a partner is someone who could take this idea and run with it. If you read so far, I would love it if you could incorporate the word ‘fire’ into your reply so I know you actually read it all.
