Lenne's rise is a rather confusing area for me for several reasons. If you did not know, Lenne's rise is the wizard tower in northeastern Caelid, by the ball trap and the little bridge with the Night's cavalry on it.
The main thing I find odd about Lenne's rise is the fact that it is connected to basically no lore tidbits. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Nobody mentions Lenne, no item says what a Lenne was, and not even their name has a meaning (either a feminine Wool in french or "Would Be" in hungarian).
(not too important, feel free to skip) But if you look at the surrounding environment, clearly they are a significant sorceror. Firstly, Lenne's rise is not a standard Rise, such as the other ones you grab memory stones from. Rather, it is the deluxe version which Ranni and the Converted fringe tower share. This would, I assume, denote a more powerful Sorceror, as Ranni resides in this version whereas that little pervy prick Sevilus resides in the base model.
(kinda important, worth a skim) the second interesting thing about Lenne's environment are the protections it keeps. Not only does it have the funny magic ball things which love to smoosh us and which are likeley a dificuilt snare to create (used only by Sellia, a whole town of Sorcerors, and Raya Lucaria, a literal Hogwarts able to stave off massive armies) which implies that this singular rise was either vital to Sellia or some other important/vastly powerful Sorceror, but it also is gaurded by a Night's cavalry. We know that the Cavalry were sent by Margit specifically to hunt down tarnished like us, ones who would be on the path to become Elden Lord. Morgott places them where he excpects the tarnished to be, so he can stop them from continuing. So why would he place one gaurding a tiny bridge connecting the realm of a pacified old doggy with a taste for Deathroot and Lenne's rise? Simple. Lenne may have been as significant as our little potato sack Maliketh was. Also, Lenne utilizes a Spiritspring Jump in the puzzle to reach inside his rise, making it clear that they were aware that only one affiliated with Torrent (Miquella, Ranni, Melina, or some other major player) would be allowed entry to Lenne's mojo dojo house once Lenne was gone.
(INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT plz read) The thing that drives me crazy about Lenne's rise is in the image below (sorry i couldn't figure out how to screenshot from an Xbox to my 'puter). See that Glintstone? Isn't it colored a bit diferently than that we normally see? That gorgeus purple hue receding into clear crystal, lined with an amber hue is nothing like any Glinstone we see anywhere else in the game. But there's one little hint in there; there is AMBER in the glintstones. The only other place I could find Amber was in Renalla's amber egg and in the Amber Starlight item. Both of these items are uniqueley powerful in their own ways. The egg is a god-given respawn machine, built to destroy the mind of Renalla. But if we read the Amber Starlight description, it reveals a bit more about Lenne's unique glintstone. (item on second page of pictures). Simply put, Amber stars control the fate of gods. And since Glintstone is a residue of the Stars,
Lenne's rise is growing the residue of what controls the gods. Buttons from the cosmic keyboard of divine fate.
(THE BIG PART) Since Glintstone tends to be drawn to places of Star-related magic, it makes it clear that *Lenne was practicing some sort of higher level of magic, akin to the Primeval current, but with a more Eldrich or Godly twist. The Prime-Primeval current, so to speak. *
It is a shame that Lenne, whether she, he, or they, eventually gained the pronoun "those", as is clear from the Graven School ball of Burger King Crowns, floating at the bottom of the rise. They were likeley becoming too powerful for their own good, and joined a ball akin to what Sellen suffered. This must be the dark fate of a Primeval Sorceror before they can reach full potential, after all.
(Extra) The only holes I can see in this are if the Putrid Crystaalians really are the same as the crystals in Lenne's, but that wouldn't change much except that we would know where Lenne possibly gained his Prime-Primeval spells, or perhaps he was a servant (or master) to the Rot God, which would explain his location near Caelid. But that only solidifies him as a major power, so I like this idea. Also, it would be neat if anyone could scribble up what Lenne would look like, like some sort of Amber version of Lusat/Azur.
(TL;CR) Lenne was the most powerful Sorceror in the Lands Between for a short time, tapping into a magic so powerful it could control the fate of the gods, but he lost it before he could harness it properly by Ballin' too hard

Firstly, Lenne's rise is not a standard Rise, such as the other ones you grab memory stones from. Rather, it is the deluxe version which Ranni and the Converted fringe tower share. This would, I assume, denote a more powerful Sorceror, as Ranni resides in this version whereas that little pervy prick Sevilus resides in the base model.
(kinda important, worth a skim) the second interesting thing about Lenne's environment are the protections it keeps. Not only does it have the funny magic ball things which love to smoosh us and which are likeley a dificuilt snare to create (used only by Sellia, a whole town of Sorcerors, and Raya Lucaria, a literal Hogwarts able to stave off massive armies) which implies that this singular rise was either vital to Sellia or some other important/vastly powerful Sorceror, but it also is gaurded by a Night's cavalry. We know that the Cavalry were sent by Margit specifically to hunt down tarnished like us, ones who would be on the path to become Elden Lord. Morgott places them where he excpects the tarnished to be, so he can stop them from continuing. So why would he place one gaurding a tiny bridge connecting the realm of a pacified old doggy with a taste for Deathroot and Lenne's rise? Simple. Lenne may have been as significant as our little potato sack Maliketh was. Also, Lenne utilizes a Spiritspring Jump in the puzzle to reach inside his rise, making it clear that they were aware that only one affiliated with Torrent (Miquella, Ranni, Melina, or some other major player) would be allowed entry to Lenne's mojo dojo house once Lenne was gone.
(INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT plz read) The thing that drives me crazy about Lenne's rise is in the image below (sorry i couldn't figure out how to screenshot from an Xbox to my 'puter). See that Glintstone? Isn't it colored a bit diferently than that we normally see? That gorgeus purple hue receding into clear crystal, lined with an amber hue is nothing like any Glinstone we see anywhere else in the game. But there's one little hint in there; there is AMBER in the glintstones. The only other place I could find Amber was in Renalla's amber egg and in the Amber Starlight item. Both of these items are uniqueley powerful in their own ways. The egg is a god-given respawn machine, built to destroy the mind of Renalla. But if we read the Amber Starlight description, it reveals a bit more about Lenne's unique glintstone. (item on second page of pictures). Simply put, Amber stars control the fate of gods. And since Glintstone is a residue of the Stars,
Lenne's rise is growing the residue of what controls the gods. Buttons from the cosmic keyboard of divine fate.
(THE BIG PART) Since Glintstone tends to be drawn to places of Star-related magic, it makes it clear that *Lenne was practicing some sort of higher level of magic, akin to the Primeval current, but with a more Eldrich or Godly twist. The Prime-Primeval current, so to speak. *
It is a shame that Lenne, whether she, he, or they, eventually gained the pronoun "those", as is clear from the Graven School ball of Burger King Crowns, floating at the bottom of the rise. They were likeley becoming too powerful for their own good, and joined a ball akin to what Sellen suffered. This must be the dark fate of a Primeval Sorceror before they can reach full potential, after all.
(Extra) The only holes I can see in this are if the Putrid Crystaalians really are the same as the crystals in Lenne's, but that wouldn't change much except that we would know where Lenne possibly gained his Prime-Primeval spells, or perhaps he was a servant (or master) to the Rot God, which would explain his location near Caelid. But that only solidifies him as a major power, so I like this idea. Also, it would be neat if anyone could scribble up what Lenne would look like, like some sort of Amber version of Lusat/Azur.
(TL;CR) Lenne was the most powerful Sorceror in the Lands Between for a short time, tapping into a magic so powerful it could control the fate of the gods, but he lost it before he could harness it properly by Ballin' too hard

For context: 2 years ago, after speaking to my coop advisor, I petitioned to have my second coop term removed from my transcript , causing it to be a part-time term since I had only taken 2 courses in Winter 2022. I recently graduated and I am in the process of applying for my Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) However, I was told by my immigration officer that due to this part time term, there is a 50/50 chance of it getting rejected. She suggested to get the coop term reinstated on my transcript as an NCR, if possible so that my status on it changes to full time and thus I will not have any issues with getting a PGWP.
However I'm not sure whether that is possible since I have graduated and this was well over 2 years ago. My advisor at the time never even mentioned that there would be any issues with removing it from my transcript as well so now i'm kind of fucked over lol

Tomorrow is also the 18th anniversary since seeing my older brother die, which kicked off a whole lot of similarly close losses for myself, and my family.
I hate that I now share this experience with one of my dearest friends, and I just hope that I can be there for him, in the ways I wished I could have had someone guiding me after losing my brother.
Our families have always been close, both in terms of where we lived, and supporting each other through things like this. I’ve been through too many of these, and their entire family has always been one of the first to support mine, even as it shrunk over a few years, and continued to.
I don’t really know how to feel, knowing this wonderful man, with beautiful children and wife/family of his own is no longer here. He survived heart surgeries as a literal newborn, and having a high risk surgery years later to replace some parts of his heart. We had some close calls, but he’d managed a happy, full and healthy life. Sadly, with heart issues you’re going to be at a higher risk for most of your life, especially with artifice parts that need replacing.
Both of our brothers died with some similar circumstances, but underlying conditions. It’s hurting my brain as well as my heart, knowing this kid (in my brain) went through his final hours similarly to my own brother, whom I’ve missed every day since I was his last breaths.
I will probably delete this in a few days as the news from this afternoons settles in, but I just.. wanted to get this out, to no one in particular for some reason.
The next time I see this friend, this man I’ve always considered a brother to me, I think we are going to watch *The IronClaw”. It ends pretty depressingly with the main character looking at his kids playing, after being the final brother after a lifetime of losses. He cries watching his two boys playing, and they come by to check on him. He tells them “I used to be a brother, and now I’m not a brother anymore.” His boys tell him they can be brothers now, and it’s such a beautiful moment, despite being soul crushing.
That’s something I wish I’d seen in the darkest days after losing my older brother, the person I shared a room with my first 17 years. You can never replace what you lose, but because of my friends and family like this one going through a horrible loss tonight, being there next to me, and behind me when I’d fall, you can bet your ass I’m going to do everything I can to do the same for them.
It hurts losing your peers and even family. But even in the face of the tragedies I’ve seen and felt, I’m having a difficult time with this one. I lost my older brother, not a younger sibling. That’s a grief even I can barely comprehend. I will always remember this “kid” as the token Kid Brother, and as this adorable, tinier version of my first friend from the first day of kindergarten. This little kid following around his own big brother, adoring him at all moments, always smiling when we all hung together. He grew to be an excellent human being and man, husband, father of two amongst so many other things, but I’ll always see him in my mind as a “little” kid.

So a group of us just started the Blood Lord adventure path using the free archetype rules and just hit level 4 last session. I started off playing an Orc Fighter called Orcus Neckslicer who unfortunately died an early death at level 3. My next character was an Anger Phantom Eidolon summoner who became bonded with Orcus as part of a retirement plan (Orcus was part of the reanimator guild and his body was a bit incinerated so the best they could do was help his ghost to make peace and move on.) Now that the background info is out of the way here is the build deets.
Versatile Human with voluntary flaw in Str and Corpse Stitcher. Final stat array is Str -1, Dex +3, Con +3, Int +1, Wis +0, Cha +3. Taking Toughness with Heritage and then Natural Ambition with Ancestry for Extend Boost. Expanded Senses for Darkvision and Imprecise Scent since we appear to be doing a lot of underground exploration and most of the party has darkvision already. We also have a +1 Striking Great Axe invested (a gift from dearly departed Orcus).
LvL 2: Alacritous Action for +10 movement total of 35ft on eidolon. Archetype into BeastMaster for a companion (Boar for its 35ft speed) and battle medicine for skill feat.
LvL 3: Diehard
LvL 4: Tandem Movement and Mature Beast companion for much better action economy during initial positioning.
Now for the juice. Currently one of the best spells I've been using for this build since the remaster is Bless. Originally this spell was mediocre, lasting one minute you'd get a 5ft aura that gave +1 status to attack rolls for allies and could spend an action sustaining it to increase the aura by 5ft. Well now, thats a 15ft aura that you can increase by 10ft. Position yourself a little bit away from the action and all of a sudden you are just buffing most of your frontliners and most of the backliners too. Sustain it two rounds in a row and you cover a 35ft radius starting from you which is nuts. It also doesn't get heightened meaning you can use your lowest spell slots for the full effect.
Ideally, T1: Tandem movement to position and move companion to hopefully flank. Act together for Bless + Strike/Stride again for positioning.
T2: 1 Action prepare to aid, 2 Action act together for Furious Strike and Boost Eidolon using our reaction to aid. We don't have any meaningful reactions at this level so using it here is pretty free.
With this the Eidolon gets +1 Circumstance, +1 Status, +1 Item, +6 Proficiency & +4 Strength. Total is +13 to strike and 3d10+9 damage (+4 strength, +1 Circumstance, and +4 Status). (DM is letting us use a d10 but no abilities as a nod to orcus with his d12 axe). Compared to an on level fighter without our buffs, it would be +1 Item, +8 Proficiency, & +4 Strength for a total of +13 to strike. Using a GreatAxe and Vicious Swing (power attack) their damage would be 3d12+4 damage. On paper, our Eidolon has 12-39 damage and the fighter has 7-40 damage letting us deal more consistent but less max damage with the same to hit ratio at the cost of a spell slot and reaction.
Not only that but we also give our companion and any other allies +1 to their hits as well. Our companion gets +11 to hits (+1 Status, +4 Strength, +6 proficiency. Overall our companion now hits fairly decent too with 2d8+4 damage.
Overall, compared to a martial fighter we can reach the average damage and to hit chances while also buffing up allies and providing flanking with ourselves. It does come at the cost of a spell slot and the flexibility of a fighter, (swipe and slam down being very good and losing AOO sucks) in exchange for more utility and less selfish class features. I think its a fairly strong build but would welcome any criticisms, questions, or things we as a table are misintepreting. We are a somewhat experienced group but play no PF society so a little out of touch with real rulings.

Recommended watch: XG vs Falcons game 1, G2.iG vs Liquid game 1
Note: No meta section because there were too few games. I included the portraits for G2.iG vs Spirit but I wasn't able to watch the series.
Both sides were neck and neck in terms of networth in the early to mid game despite Boom boasting a better kill count. The game turned in Spirit's favor in the 27th minute when the fight for the second Rosh saw Boom use their big ultimates and only got 1 support kill for it while they had 3 casualties including Naga & Enigma. Spirit would get the Aegis and most of the momentum. All 3 cores on Spirit would become huge while only Naga scaled well for Boom. The introduction of hex on Lina meant quick exterminations. The Pango was a recurring victim of Lina's fiery show. The Enigma was never given a chance to have a game-altering Black Hole. Boom on top of being beaten down by Slardar and Lina had an enormous Chrono problem which they don't have an answer for. Once all 3 cores on Spirit had their BKBs the fight went one way. This was an outmatch. Spirit 1-0 Boom.

Boom felt powerless against the onslaught that came their way. Bristleback, Dragon Knight, and Doom kept charging relentlessly. Boom tried to offer some resistance but they got run over. Pakazs' Gyro valiantly participated in the fights but he died in each one. Solar Bind & Corrosive Haze were countered by the upgraded Ink Swell. Yatoro's Bristle was unanswered and he had no problems taking his team to the next round. Spirit 2-0 Boom.
This was a pretty back-and-forth game but it was Liquid who did most of the initiative. By the 52nd minute, Liquid had brought down 2 lanes of racks and were attempting to get Megas but they got deterred by G2.iG. Liquid still looked like they had the upper hand as their side had the necessary tools to shut down Weaver but all it took was one moment of brilliance in the mid lane where Weaver + Rapier & Disruptor with Aghs caught & killed 3 overzealous players. With no buyback on Monkey King, the Dire were able to demolish Radiant's base and get the dub. This was G2.iG snatching victory from what looked like a game Liquid should have won. G2.iG 1-0 Liquid.

This time around, the roles were reversed. Liquid were playing from behind and G2.iG were the ones on the front foot. Liquid tried the recipe from the previous game of buying a Divine Rapier on their carry (Luna) and it did deter the opponent momentarily but if you keep letting your opponents take multiple swings at you, one haymaker is bound to hit and knock you out. The Radiant were stuck in their base and the Dire had complete control of the map. G2.iG bided their time, waited for Roshan, and only sieged with an Aegis. With Mega Creeps, 3 obese cores, and only Luna being the real threat to their side, G2.iG waited for the Glyph to go down and simply went all in on the throne. There wasn't much Liquid could do except type gg. G2.iG 2-0 Liquid.
Things were looking grim for XG. Falcons won every lane. Bristleback was killed 3 times before 10 minutes. Falcons didn't let up. They kept hunting and they kept finding the fights. XG were relegated to responding to what Falcons were doing on the map. But somehow, Ame found his farm and one wrong jump on the Bristleback changed the complexion of the game. A smoke play from FLC at minute 25 ended as a disaster when they jumped Bristleback who was farming in his triangle. FLC were not able to bring anyone down in the chaos. XG took advantage and brought down 4 on the side of FLC. Falcons would learn their lesson and go for Bristle's teammates at the next hunt. FLC would find 3 successive kills on their next smoke play. In a 2v5 scenario, FLC tested the high ground and got a kill on Ame but they overstayed their welcome as the rest of XG respawned before they could take any significant objective. FLC could not exit cleanly and lost 3 lives. XG would then trade out their mid barracks + tier 2 top + their tormentor for an Aegis on Viper. The game became passive and this benefitted XG (Midas on Viper + Bane). Marci eventually got to her BKB and at that point, even Davion didn't want to mess with her. A skirmish in front of Radiant's Tier 3 ended up as a complete annihilation with Marci getting 3 kills. FLC then smoked up, only found Ame, and decided to have a go at him. They couldn't finish him off (déjà vu). Marci once again went for the Enigma to make sure no Black Hole could be used. It was a 4 for nothing and that was it. This is an incredible statement from XG. They lost all their lanes and were getting beat up early on but their resilience and ability to come back was a joy to watch (Having xinQ's Marci helps too). XG 1-0 FLC.

I was hoping for a closer game but XG were just too good. Falcons didn't have as good of a start as game 1 and XG were more than happy to slowly take over. The Bane and Earthshaker were such good picks against the opposition. The Black Hole could be stopped from a distance. The Pango had to be careful with his positioning against the Fiend's Grip. The 3 cores on XG had incredible damage which synergized very well with the control of their supports. Ame had a relatively free game. Once he had his Daedalus, taking objectives and the lives of his enemies became a breeze. Falcons weren't given any openings so XG continued their unbeaten streak to 12 games. They have yet to drop a single game in this tournament. XG 2-0 FLC.

Spirit would get the Aegis and most of the momentum. All 3 cores on Spirit would become huge while only Naga scaled well for Boom. The introduction of hex on Lina meant quick exterminations. The Pango was a recurring victim of Lina's fiery show. The Enigma was never given a chance to have a game-altering Black Hole. Boom on top of being beaten down by Slardar and Lina had an enormous Chrono problem which they don't have an answer for. Once all 3 cores on Spirit had their BKBs the fight went one way. This was an outmatch. Spirit 1-0 Boom.

Boom felt powerless against the onslaught that came their way. Bristleback, Dragon Knight, and Doom kept charging relentlessly. Boom tried to offer some resistance but they got run over. Pakazs' Gyro valiantly participated in the fights but he died in each one. Solar Bind & Corrosive Haze were countered by the upgraded Ink Swell. Yatoro's Bristle was unanswered and he had no problems taking his team to the next round. Spirit 2-0 Boom.
Liquid vs G2.iG

By the 52nd minute, Liquid had brought down 2 lanes of racks and were attempting to get Megas but they got deterred by G2.iG. Liquid still looked like they had the upper hand as their side had the necessary tools to shut down Weaver but all it took was one moment of brilliance in the mid lane where Weaver + Rapier & Disruptor with Aghs caught & killed 3 overzealous players. With no buyback on Monkey King, the Dire were able to demolish Radiant's base and get the dub. This was G2.iG snatching victory from what looked like a game Liquid should have won. G2.iG 1-0 Liquid.

This time around, the roles were reversed. Liquid were playing from behind and G2.iG were the ones on the front foot. Liquid tried the recipe from the previous game of buying a Divine Rapier on their carry (Luna) and it did deter the opponent momentarily but if you keep letting your opponents take multiple swings at you, one haymaker is bound to hit and knock you out. The Radiant were stuck in their base and the Dire had complete control of the map. G2.iG bided their time, waited for Roshan, and only sieged with an Aegis. With Mega Creeps, 3 obese cores, and only Luna being the real threat to their side, G2.iG waited for the Glyph to go down and simply went all in on the throne. There wasn't much Liquid could do except type gg. G2.iG 2-0 Liquid.
Falcons vs Xtreme Gaming, Upper Bracket Finals

Bristleback was killed 3 times before 10 minutes. Falcons didn't let up. They kept hunting and they kept finding the fights. XG were relegated to responding to what Falcons were doing on the map. But somehow, Ame found his farm and one wrong jump on the Bristleback changed the complexion of the game. A smoke play from FLC at minute 25 ended as a disaster when they jumped Bristleback who was farming in his triangle. FLC were not able to bring anyone down in the chaos. XG took advantage and brought down 4 on the side of FLC. Falcons would learn their lesson and go for Bristle's teammates at the next hunt. FLC would find 3 successive kills on their next smoke play. In a 2v5 scenario, FLC tested the high ground and got a kill on Ame but they overstayed their welcome as the rest of XG respawned before they could take any significant objective. FLC could not exit cleanly and lost 3 lives. XG would then trade out their mid barracks + tier 2 top + their tormentor for an Aegis on Viper. The game became passive and this benefitted XG (Midas on Viper + Bane). Marci eventually got to her BKB and at that point, even Davion didn't want to mess with her. A skirmish in front of Radiant's Tier 3 ended up as a complete annihilation with Marci getting 3 kills. FLC then smoked up, only found Ame, and decided to have a go at him. They couldn't finish him off (déjà vu). Marci once again went for the Enigma to make sure no Black Hole could be used. It was a 4 for nothing and that was it. This is an incredible statement from XG. They lost all their lanes and were getting beat up early on but their resilience and ability to come back was a joy to watch (Having xinQ's Marci helps too). XG 1-0 FLC.

I was hoping for a closer game but XG were just too good. Falcons didn't have as good of a start as game 1 and XG were more than happy to slowly take over. The Bane and Earthshaker were such good picks against the opposition. The Black Hole could be stopped from a distance. The Pango had to be careful with his positioning against the Fiend's Grip. The 3 cores on XG had incredible damage which synergized very well with the control of their supports. Ame had a relatively free game. Once he had his Daedalus, taking objectives and the lives of his enemies became a breeze. Falcons weren't given any openings so XG continued their unbeaten streak to 12 games. They have yet to drop a single game in this tournament. XG 2-0 FLC.

Last week he and I were supposed to hang out, but I got sick so we did today instead and IT WENT SO WELL. I went over to his house for the first time and met his family (absolutely amazing they were so kind and welcoming). I made him a bouquet of roses, a card, and bought him chocolate, he was so happy! When I gave them to him, he told me he had a gift for me too, he goes to grab it and it’s a freaking Kirby plushy holding a heart and when I tell you mine MELTED. I was so happy and I was holding the plush with me everywhere we went today (including out to the mall). When we were at his place, we played video games and watched a funny movie. It was amazing, we hung for like 7 freaking hours. I still am not sure if he likes me too, but today made me kinda feel like he does? I really hope he does, he’s a genuinely wonderful and awesome person.
Edit: part of what leads me to think that he might like me is that I think he’s been talking about me quite a bit to his family? When meeting them he said “it’s nice to finally meet you!” But I could just be delusional idk.

Hello! So I've seen people say that people saying "me and X are going to the movies tonight", "me and the girls are going to grab lunch" means they're inviting you to go too.
But how does one respond to that? And what if they're not and you join them and is a burden?
Last year a classmate told me, on the very first time we talked, that his friend's band was going to play on the college's theater. I said "oh, that's cool! is it only today or they'll play more days?" and then he answered and the conversation went on.
At the time, I thought that he mentioning that could mean that he wanted me to go, but I wasn't sure so I didn't want to say anything. I thought that as the talk went on, he would then ask me to go. He didn't, so I just thought "yeah, I was right, he was not inviting me".
But watching autistic people's content, it seems to be a reoccurring thing that they say like "that's so cool" in response to the first sentence, and people will say something like "why didn't you wanna come?". So the right answer would be to invite yourself??
Perhaps the way I conducted the conversation after my classmate's first sentence told him somehow I didn't want to go? Like I was indirectly shutting his "request" off? I don't know if that possible or I'm thinking too much about it.
How do you even respond to this cue?

The original "The Fast and the Furious" released in 2001, contains a biblical subplot. This isn't as farfetched as it seems, considering that this film was re-written before its release by David Ayer, who is considered "...one of the five most prominent Christians in Hollywood." The original screenplay was written by Gary Scott Thompson. His vision for the film was for an all Italian cast racing through the streets of New York City. David Ayer, rendered some rewrites that made the film what has become these 20-something years later. One of his changes sets the film in Los Angeles instead of New York. Scripturally, angels are messengers and there surely is a message in this film, which is a re-telling of Revelation 13 using the analogy of cars and street racing.
To sum up the message of Revelation 13 is this: The Roman Catholic Church represented by "the sea beast" (Revelation 13:1) unites with America represented by "the earth beast" (Revelation 13:11) to issue the Mark of the Beast (Revelation 13:16-18). Scripture supplies the most in-depth literature known to man and this film has become a pop-culture gem because of it. Let's look at some of the symbolism.
Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) is an allegory of the Roman Catholic Church. The name Dominic is derived from the Latin Dominicus and is a name given to boys born on Sunday. It is the root word for "Domingo" which is Spanish for Sunday. Contrary to the 7th Day Sabbath of the 4th commandment (Exodus 20:8), Catholics instituted their own day of worship, which is Sunday. Priest Brady, in an address, reported in the Elizabeth, NJ ‘News’ on March 18, 1903, stated, "It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church." Their are many pontifical orders in the Catholic Church and one of them is the "Dom-inican" Order. Pope Pius V was of the Dominican Order and he instituted the Inquisition. The Dominican monks are known for brewing beer and in the movie, Dom is constantly advertising "Corona Beer." Dominic Toretto drives a 1993 Mazda RX-7 FD. At the core of this car is a turbocharged Wankel motor, driven by rotors instead of pistons. The rotors are Releaux triangles and were prominent features on gothic style Catholic Churches. The Releaux triangle is also the basic shape for the triquetra which a symbol for the Trinity. The Trinity is never mentioned in Scripture as a name for God which is important. The Trinity is a Catholic invention. The Roman Catholic Church is named as such because it absorbed practices and traditions from the Roman Empire. It was Constantine that issued the first Sunday Law; an attempt to make Sunday holy. They used to hold races in the Coliseum to honor the Roman trinity known as the Captoline Triad or the Archaic Triad. The name Trinity was coined by Tertullian, a staunch Romanist. This is why Dominic uses three Honda Civics to pull of the heists, because Trinitarians believe the Holy Spirit is another being form that sits on the Throne of God; three on the throne. In reality, there are only two being forms, the Father and the Son, on the throne, with their Spirit being inherently there. Dominic's RX-7 has a Veilside body kit. The "veil" (Hebrews 10:20) is symbolic of Jesus Christ and the pope believes that He is an additional incarnation of Christ. In the beginning of Fast X, Dominic is portrayed as a defender of the Vatican and St. Peters. Dominic Toretto is the Roman Catholic Church.
Brian Spilner [O'Conner] (Paul Walker) is an allegory of American Protestantism. The name Brian means "noble" and nobility is defined as having "high morals standards and ideals." Brian is also a police officer or a keeper of the law. America was established as a Protestant Christian nation with the intent of upholding the Law of God. Most Protestants today have forsaken the Sabbath command and uphold the Catholic Sunday. Brian is also on the "wine of Babylon" and is seen drinking and distributing alcohol throughout the film. Protestant denominations now also believe in the Trinity, significantly compromising the strength of the Protest. Is this reflected in Brian's ride? Yes. Brian drives a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The Mitsubishi symbol is a trinity of diamonds or rhombuses. At the heart of the Eclipse is a PentaStar 4G63 built by Chrysler. Chrysler secured a $75 million war contract to aid in producing J. Robert Oppenheimers "Little Boy"; the atomic bomb dropped on, of all places, Japan. The codename for the first atomic bomb test was "Trinity", named for the Catholic triune god. The American symbolism for Brian's car doesn't stop there. The American rebadged version of the Mitsubishi Eclipse, is the Eagle Talon. There is also an abstract blue and white eagle on the side of Brian's car; the eagle being a prominent symbol for America. Brian's surname "O'Connor" is of Irish origin. Catholics have slandered the name of St. Patrick claiming that he used the shamrock to preach the Trinity, but in reality he was vehemently against, or protested, the Catholic doctrine or the Trinity. Revelation 13:11 says that America sprang up like a Lamb (a symbol of Jesus Christ) but began to speak as a dragon (a symbol for Satan.) This denotes compromise. Brian is seen sitting with Dominic many times drinking alcohol, a sure fire way to lower your inhibitions and compromise your integrity. Brian has illicit relations with Mia, Dominic's sister [who openly displays her devotion to the Catholic Church in the film], which seals his compromise. Brian then ends up lying to his superiors after sleeping with Dom's sister. Brian is an Apostate (Lawless) Protestant Church.
Brian loses his car to Dom in a street race, which transfers ownership of the American-powered Eclipse to Dominic. Eventually, America will be owned by the Roman Catholic Church and will "build an image to the beast" and issue the Mark of the Beast on their behalf. The Eclipse is destroyed. Is not America in such a a state of declension, that the calling of a moral leader seems like the only way to save this country? Remember, Pope Francis came to America in 2015 and addressed not only the nation from the White House, but also an active session of Congress. We are a constitutionally church and state separate nation. What was the Pope doing there? Dom and Brian start working on another car to replace the destroyed Eclipse; a 1994 Toyota Supra. Before 1990, there was no official symbol for Toyota. On October 2, 1989, the official logo was released. The symbol is a "T" comprised of a trinity of ellipses. The code name for a 1994-1998 Supra is the Mark IV(4). So the Toyota Supra contains as mark and a trinity.
So what is the Mark of the Beast? Sunday observance and worship enforced by law. Dominic's name associates him with Sunday and Brian, being a police officer, associates him with the law. When they united to build the Supra together, it symbolized a National Sunday Law aka The Mark of the Beast. Their union also is symbolic of the formation of church and state in America: the "image to the beast." By the way, all graphics for the cars in the film were supplied by "Modern Image." When this forms, we are in "Barney Rubble Trouble." We are a country built on ecclesiastical liberty, but when a Sunday Law is put into motion, those who accept the law, will lose their "Liberty of Conscience." No good. This is why when Pope Francis addressed an active session of Congress, where we pass laws, was not a good sign. In fact, Pope Francis chose a Fiat 500 to ride in when he came to America. The word "fiat" translates to "law." This was not a coincidence.
How does this movie end? After one final race, Dominic flips his car, receiving a "deadly wound" (Revelation 13:3). Dominic (the pope, the outlaw) is not captured and brought up on charges as he should. Instead, Brian (America, the law, the Image to the Beast) hands over the keys to the Supra, giving Dominic complete power and ownership. Scripture says that the Roman Catholic Church will come to an end and that God's true people need to "come out of her...lest ye be partakers of her plagues..."
The promotion of Sunday, the exaltation of the Trinity, the apocalyptic formation of the Image of the Beast (Church and State) and the fraudulent retelling of prophecy is all contained in a little movie about street racing released almost 23 years ago. The sequels, attractions, and merchandise have never ceased to roll off the assembly line. Sequels that point to Dominic as a Catholic Champion. Even in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift", the first song to play is "Six Days" by DJ Shadow. [Refer to Exodus -11] This song puts Monday as the first day of the week making Sunday the Seventh Day, giving Sunday the appearance that it is the Sabbath of the Lord. Yes. The Fast and the Furious is arrayed against the Law of God. The sobering fact is, Revelation 13 is already being played out right in front of our eyes. This film, which could arguably be called "The Last Great Film Before 9/11", portrayed the various steps and phases that America, nay the world, was about to go through, with the audience unaware. Sadly, Paul Walker has passed, but the message lives on today, with the OG Fast and Furious still being the greatest effort in the series.

Robert Oppenheimers "Little Boy"; the atomic bomb dropped on, of all places, Japan. The codename for the first atomic bomb test was "Trinity", named for the Catholic triune god. The American symbolism for Brian's car doesn't stop there. The American rebadged version of the Mitsubishi Eclipse, is the Eagle Talon. There is also an abstract blue and white eagle on the side of Brian's car; the eagle being a prominent symbol for America. Brian's surname "O'Connor" is of Irish origin. Catholics have slandered the name of St. Patrick claiming that he used the shamrock to preach the Trinity, but in reality he was vehemently against, or protested, the Catholic doctrine or the Trinity. Revelation 13:11 says that America sprang up like a Lamb (a symbol of Jesus Christ) but began to speak as a dragon (a symbol for Satan.) This denotes compromise. Brian is seen sitting with Dominic many times drinking alcohol, a sure fire way to lower your inhibitions and compromise your integrity. Brian has illicit relations with Mia, Dominic's sister [who openly displays her devotion to the Catholic Church in the film], which seals his compromise. Brian then ends up lying to his superiors after sleeping with Dom's sister. Brian is an Apostate (Lawless) Protestant Church.
Brian loses his car to Dom in a street race, which transfers ownership of the American-powered Eclipse to Dominic. Eventually, America will be owned by the Roman Catholic Church and will "build an image to the beast" and issue the Mark of the Beast on their behalf. The Eclipse is destroyed. Is not America in such a a state of declension, that the calling of a moral leader seems like the only way to save this country? Remember, Pope Francis came to America in 2015 and addressed not only the nation from the White House, but also an active session of Congress. We are a constitutionally church and state separate nation. What was the Pope doing there? Dom and Brian start working on another car to replace the destroyed Eclipse; a 1994 Toyota Supra. Before 1990, there was no official symbol for Toyota. On October 2, 1989, the official logo was released. The symbol is a "T" comprised of a trinity of ellipses. The code name for a 1994-1998 Supra is the Mark IV(4). So the Toyota Supra contains as mark and a trinity.
So what is the Mark of the Beast? Sunday observance and worship enforced by law. Dominic's name associates him with Sunday and Brian, being a police officer, associates him with the law. When they united to build the Supra together, it symbolized a National Sunday Law aka The Mark of the Beast. Their union also is symbolic of the formation of church and state in America: the "image to the beast." By the way, all graphics for the cars in the film were supplied by "Modern Image." When this forms, we are in "Barney Rubble Trouble." We are a country built on ecclesiastical liberty, but when a Sunday Law is put into motion, those who accept the law, will lose their "Liberty of Conscience." No good. This is why when Pope Francis addressed an active session of Congress, where we pass laws, was not a good sign. In fact, Pope Francis chose a Fiat 500 to ride in when he came to America. The word "fiat" translates to "law." This was not a coincidence.
How does this movie end? After one final race, Dominic flips his car, receiving a "deadly wound" (Revelation 13:3). Dominic (the pope, the outlaw) is not captured and brought up on charges as he should. Instead, Brian (America, the law, the Image to the Beast) hands over the keys to the Supra, giving Dominic complete power and ownership. Scripture says that the Roman Catholic Church will come to an end and that God's true people need to "come out of her...lest ye be partakers of her plagues..."
The promotion of Sunday, the exaltation of the Trinity, the apocalyptic formation of the Image of the Beast (Church and State) and the fraudulent retelling of prophecy is all contained in a little movie about street racing released almost 23 years ago. The sequels, attractions, and merchandise have never ceased to roll off the assembly line. Sequels that point to Dominic as a Catholic Champion. Even in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift", the first song to play is "Six Days" by DJ Shadow. [Refer to Exodus -11] This song puts Monday as the first day of the week making Sunday the Seventh Day, giving Sunday the appearance that it is the Sabbath of the Lord. Yes. The Fast and the Furious is arrayed against the Law of God. The sobering fact is, Revelation 13 is already being played out right in front of our eyes. This film, which could arguably be called "The Last Great Film Before 9/11", portrayed the various steps and phases that America, nay the world, was about to go through, with the audience unaware. Sadly, Paul Walker has passed, but the message lives on today, with the OG Fast and Furious still being the greatest effort in the series.

I posted in this sub a few times last year when I was really going through it. Brain fog, anxiety, fatigue, vision issues, debilitating headaches and hyper sensitivity (“mini” concussions from small bumps of the head). I had 4-5 concussions over the course of 3 years, with 3 of those occurring within 2 months of each other. Outside of some lingering neck issues, I’ve made a full recovery and want to share what worked for me.
Please don’t let this long list stress you out though. There were days when getting out of bed in the morning felt like an accomplishment. Every recovery is different and only you can know what your body and brain are feeling.
Commitment After my most recent injury I decided that getting better was the most important thing in my life and I completely dedicated myself to my recovery. That’s why this list is as long as it is — I decided I was going to try everything.
Research Learning about concussions is a great place to start! It really helped me plan my course of action and think rationally about recovery. This sub is a great source of knowledge. Complete concussion management on YouTube has some great intro videos too.
Exercise I think that exercise was the #1 most important factor in my recovery. I started by going on short daily walks and doing light yoga in my house and eventually built up to 2x cardio 3x weightlifting 2x yoga every week. I got in the habit of exercising early in the day and felt like it really helped with my mental energy throughout the day.
Diet I tried to eat an anti inflammatory diet but it was hard (I really love to eat lol). I couldn’t go completely keto but I cut out carbs where I could and made an effort to cook all of my own meals with a lot of protein and vegetables. Avocado and olive oils give you omega 9s which are important for omega 3 absorption. I also didn’t really drink at all.
Supplements I don’t know exactly what worked and what didn’t but you should definitely be taking omega 3 (and probably creatine). My stack: - 4000 mg Nordic Naturals omega 3. Can cut down to normal dose after a couple months - 5 mg creatine monohydrate - 2000 mg magnesium l-theronate - 1g ImmPower AHCC (mushroom-based immune supplement) - 125 mcg vitamin d3 - Multivitamin - Dietary fiber + probiotic (gut health is important)
CBD Only way I could get to sleep for a couple months. Great for headaches. It’s also a nice substitute for alcohol when going out with friends.
Concussion clinic + Neurofeedback I went to a concussion clinic in NC shortly after my last concussion. Most of my problems were cognitive so my doctor recommended a neurofeedback program. I was super skeptical at first but it definitely improved my screen tolerance and I felt like it helped with teaching my brain how to switch off.
Neurologist + Nortryptoline Neurologists are really only good for one thing: prescribing meds. There’s a good chance you don’t need to take an SNRI but I had nerve damage at the site of impact that, whenever touched, would cause me a lot of pain and trigger hours of concussion symptoms. I think that my meds (prescribed for nerve pain) helped get some of this hypersensitivity under control.
Meditation There are people on this sub who can speak to this better than me but after a concussion your autonomic nervous system can be in an “always on” mode where you’re constantly in a state of fight or flight. Meditation while concussed is very challenging and won’t immediately zen you out but it will help you notice just how overactive your brain is and help you train yourself to redirect your attention when your mind runs wild.
Physical therapy + dry needling If you have any neck pain at all, go to PT. Seriously! It might be causing most if not all of your headaches. A few months of stretching and strengthening exercises helped resolve most of my headaches. Also, if dry needling is legal in your state, seek it out for really intense neck tightness. My PT offered needling and it was a godsend on my worst days.
Brain challenges I’m a computer programmer so getting back into work was challenging enough but I also made an effort to try to learn a new language and do some daily puzzles to help foster some new neural connections.
Try to relax when I bump my head Idk I still freak out when I bonk. I probably have had 30-40 “flare ups” over the past 2 years. No one on the internet seems to have a great answer for why this happens. I think it’s probably some sort of learned response from the brain in response to a stressor. I recently took the approach of doing everything in my power to chill out when I bump my head on something (including taking cbd immediately after). Not sure if this helped or I just needed time but I hit my head on a cabinet pretty hard last week and experienced no symptoms! That’s honestly what encouraged me to write this post.
I hope some of this will be helpful to someone. Feel free to comment or hit my dm’s if you want any more detail on anything.
