So tonight I was sleeping and at around 3:30 I woke up to what sounded exactly like a baby crying and like "screaming", and it sounded really loud almost like it was coming from my house. Only problem is there's no baby living in my house, than I fully got up and I heard it was coming from right outside my window. I first listened for like a minute as this likely doe is crying and almost screaming as I hear a predator huff and I think knock down tree, than I don't hear the doe anymore and I start recording some audio. I have three video 1, 2, 3, in video 1 that was the one I recorded when I first got up than I immediately recorded video 2, than about 20 minutes later I heard like a very harsh breathing sound and... what sounded like an animal eating something very.... juciy, that was when I recorded video 3. I didnt get any of the crying on cammera it suddendly stopped before i could record, (likely because it was killed). For context I live in a mostly suburban area with many other houses and have never heard anything like this before, I don't even know where the heck these predators would be living? I recorded this and made this posy on the same night this happened like an hour later, I'll look outside tomorrow to see if there is any traces of the sounds last night, and even if this seems like an open and shut case to many I still think it's pretty interesting.

Background: I used to have a really good grasp on my day, study, work, workout, have time for personal projects and just relaxing etc. But presently I fell out and I'm having trouble getting back in. I'm working on my thesis full time right now so got no fixed schedule from outside influences like classes or a job and have been finding it hard to stick to a productive schedule. Let's say D(me)(M18) met this guy named L(M18) from a group of friends back in August of 2023, and we became the best of friends and instantly clicked, we had all the same interests with art and fashion, and we absolutely adored eachother! Literal minutes later his friend (same friend that messaged me beforehand.) apologized for my loss. How did he know?? He was the one who Luke found over me, and come to find out, with the eight months of being together, he was talking with his 'friend' for three months. Devastated, I became even more depressed. Although I had an idea. His 'friend' was trying to still be friends so I gathered as much details of the perfect person for him before making a catfish profile of said details. Then, keeping up the disguise, I went and told Luke (via catfish profile.) that his friend didn't want him. Therefore, they both broke up. Then and behold... He came crawling back to me! By then, I gathered a bunch of photos of one of my friends and told him I was with someone better, absolutely crushing him. I'm tired of clicking on videos that genuinely interest me and getting hit in the face by political discussion mid way. I've already given up on most video essays by unfamiliar channels, because somehow, somewhere, it will come up - but I'm at the point I've clicked on 3 crafts-related videos (knitting, woodworking, and another one that I forgot) today and they all got into politics mid video. And not an off-hand remark either - which is also annoying but I can manage - but a full on rant of several minutes.
Is there any way to block this? Either within YouTube or with an extension that can analyze the transcript or something?

I got hospitalised 4 times in the span of 5 months. I was vomiting blood ranging from 1 day to 3 days straight before going to hospital. I'm apparently prediabetic, "have the liver of a 60 year old" at 21 (I'm an ex-drug addict as well) and suspect I have neuropathy. Totalled 1 car, a DUI and I've also got a bunch of scars and nerve damage in some of my fingers due to being so sloshed I accidentally injured myself. My withdraws got so severe my body wouldn't take the oxygen I was breathing, my throat would close up, and my limbs would curl up and lock due to the lack of oxygen. it would last upwards of 30 minutes. My 2nd to most recent hospitalisation I was so ill they had to put an IV in my neck (aka means super serious) and I was on deaths door. Cold to the touch, grey, weak, hardly breathing and in a lot of pain. To add onto that, my ex-boyfriend didn't even help me in. He threw me out of the car 2 rows away from the ER entrance. Since i couldnt walk or barely do anything, I called 911 to tell them i needed to be wheeled in. They could barely understand me because I could hardly speak. I've since moved back in with my parents and still drink but not like how I did. I never even considered alcohol withdrawals being a thing despite my history in illicit drug use. I never saw myself as an alcoholic despite my entire family all being severe and mean drunks. My dad drinks actively in front of me and I stay unbothered and its only been 3 weeks since I moved back in. I can go to a restaurant and have just one beer. I don't know why I let myself drink like that. I met that ex a little over a year ago and he was a severe alcoholic. Compounding with that was the fact I had just moved from a different state and I had been very lonely and depressed even before moving, coping with alcohol. I reached a breaking point way before the hospitalisations (last one was March 17) but I got so used to the routine I didnt care I guess. Didn't mind dying because I put myself in another mess being with this guy. It was the only activity we actively enjoyed and could "share" together. We bonded over drugs and couldnt find a common ground and a 14 year age gap didn't help. Ishould've known better but I guess that's what happens when you meet a guy at a bar buying cocaine with your aunt and uncle. He took me into the bathroom, offered me a bump, and I snuck off to his hotel and lived with him since. Slept in my car and hotels for a couple months partying like crackheads. Eventually got an apartment and everything was really good in the beginning then we moved to a new apartment and it all spiralled worse.
Anways that's my story. I'm not sober but I'm not off the fUcking deeeeeeep end. I've had a few glasses of wine and beer. I live in walking distance of a liquor store and I don't really feel like going.
I just wanted to talk about this experience. Its similar to how I quit drugs except instead of giving myself the ultimatum he did it for me. He left me 7 hours from home at a hotel with nothing but the clothes on my back. I wasn't upset we were over I was only upset he took my stuff. I knew it was a mutually toxic relationship, both interpersonal and chemical romance. I figured after finally having a clear(er) mind that I wanted a sense of freedom? I love my parents but it's ass having to live with them. I've moved out 3 separate times as knee jerk reactions and this was just a rerun.
The amount of damage I've caused my body in the span of a year due to the severe amount of alcohol intake feels irreversible, especially because I had the extra disadvantage of being anorexic. I've never had health problems before despite it but alcohol is the most dangerous substance. I was a heavy drug user for 4 years and I never experienced the reaper looming over me before.

Hey everyone,
I looking for the artist page (or name) of a comic creator.
I stumbled across his art 2-3 years ago on instagram and I failed to save any of his arts. His comics are always hilarious, funny, dark, in some way disturbing and sometimes nothing but outrageous. It often depicts a bit of violence, sex and plot twists!
There is one comic in which a woman gets impregnated by a man, then bears the child, but wouldn't cut the umbilical cord - so the child just keeps growing up while attached to the mother.

So I'm going to US for a company event which is in Seattle. I plan to extend my trip and visit Mt Rainier there and see some attractions in Seattle.
After Seattle I could do one of the following things:

• San Francisco trip for 3 days and then Las Vegas for 3 days with one more guy.
• Los Angeles trip for 4 days (one day goes to Disneyland) and then Las Vegas for 2 days with 10 more people.

Which option sounds better? I've seen reddit posts which say San Francisco is a better tourist city and its a hassle to get anywhere in Los Angeles, but I'm still leaning towards LA as there'll be more people around and we'll be sharing the transportation cost so it might not be that expensive. I don't know these people from before though. We're all aged between 22-24.

After 10 years of working as a software engineer my journey has finally come to an end.

• Worked 10 years as a software engineer, didn't really like it. Saved up as much money as I could and always knew one day I am going to quit.

1. Plug LAN port of PoE injector to LAN 1 of wireless router - cannot connect to AP
2. Plug PoE injector directly to ethernet switch - cannot connect to AP
3. Plug PoE injector directly to Cisco router - cannot connect to AP

We have internet through all of our ethernet ports in the office, so there is no problem with the router, switch, wireless router or infrastructure.
Watching some videos on Youtube, I know the AP is supposed to light up blue. Mine has not done so at all which leads me to question if this is a power problem between the PoE injector and the U7-Pro. If that is the case... what do I do? Because this injector is an offical Ubiquiti PoE injector which works with all Ubiquiti Pro access points. I've tried three ethernet cables too.
Super lost, please help!

I feel kinda stupid… I packed my lunch for work (night shift) and 3AM comes around, but I thawed it and it was nasty. The only thing open at this hour is ihop and McDonald so I picked ihop. I know they’re not celiac safe but I’m not celiac (supposedly). The hashbrowns were fine, the eggs and bacon were gross so I trashed them, went for the pancakes but there’s no way they were gf. No. Way. I had 2 bites but I’m 99% certain they were regular. I got $5 back for it from door dash, I should have complained about the undercooked bacon on my eggs too and gotten a full refund but I was so stressed about the pancakes and what I’d just eaten, so $30 down and 2 meals in the trash, only potatoes for lunch. I feel so wasteful… I figured Im not the only one who went through this though.

Sorry guys, this is going to be a long one. I've been considering homeschooling my children for quite a while. I have a few reasons why the thought continually crosses my mind.
The first is the education aspect. From Kindergarten to now, my oldest seems to struggle in class. More socialization and less concentration. I will say that did tone down quite a bit during this past school year. But beyond that, each progress report sent home says that she is behind in this area or that. They don't assign homework, so I rarely know there is an issue until the reports come home. Despite my asking several times, I never receive anything that shows what they are working on, so I use the report to see the struggle areas and sit one on one with her, and she does wonderful! I know all parents feel that way about their children and boast, but she really seems to do well. I have no problem getting her to focus and learn. I've also noticed that some of the areas they claim she's struggling in, she's not as behind as the reports say. There's been several times where I've found she knows the material quite well and when I bring it up with the teacher, I'm brushed off and told that the testing system they use is never wrong. Even when I've showed the extra work she has done at home that shows she knows the material, I get "well you probably gave away the answers without realizing it".
The second is the bullying. She was bullied half the year this year by a kid in her class twice her size. Nothing was ever done about it until the day he went too far and she stomped him. Not figuratively either. Principal said after he kicked her, she literally only used her feet to get this boy to the ground and proceeded to kick him until the teacher pulled her away. Until that incident, she would come home in tears saying she was told she was ugly and stupid. She would beg me not to make her go to school. She used to be so self-confident and now it's gone. He stopped bothering her after that incident, but she still says that she feels that she's ugly and stupid despite us telling her that is not true.
The third reason is an incident that took place near Christmas time. We are not a Christian household. We follow a different faith. But one day both children came home and started saying we were celebrating winter holidays wrong. I asked my oldest what she meant, and she told me that they had watched a video in class and learned that we are supposed to only celebrate the birth of Jesus. She said it was in music class and that they were also learning songs for the winter concert and when I asked what songs, they both started to sing church hymns. That night my husband and I explained that there are different religions in the world and that Christianity is only one of them. The next day I brought my concerns up with this particular teacher and I didn't like that her response was "Oh we learned a Jewish song too so it's not all Christian based." I have no problem with my kids learning about other religions. The way I see it, the more they learn about other religions and cultures, the more understanding they'll be as adults and not judgmental just because it's not theirs. But this is a public school. Unless they're learning about all other religions and cultures, I don't see the need for anything religious based to be brought up at all.
With all this I thought I might give homeschool a sort of trial run over summer break. I figured that if it went well, I would homeschool starting next year. My husband is on the same page as me, but when I've mentioned this to other people/family though, they all tell me I'm making a mistake and I'm being selfish/overreacting. I've been told that I would be robbing my kids of special moments/memories like school dances, picture days, end of the year award ceremonies, and graduation. I've also been told that I'm setting them up failure because homeschooled kids don't get real diplomas and I'm ruining any chances they have of getting into a good college or a good career later in life. I've been told that their after-school activities won't be enough socialization and they'll be socially stunted as adults. So many people have said these things to me that it makes me question if I'm doing the right thing. So, I came here for advice. Do I follow my instincts, and continue on with my plan or am I really overreacting as everyone says?

I am not even talking about scriptural problems within the bible, You don't have to open a single bible to start seeing the problems,
1-) The Problem of Salvation and Faith (Why the plan of salvation is ridiculous, and has failed)
I.The ridiculousness of the plan
A. Demanding blood for remission of sins Heb 9:22 - Why is this the terms that god insists upon? Isn't he the architect of the parameters regarding sin, punishment, and forgiveness? Is he not able to forgive sin without blood sacrifice? Can he not say, “No blood sacrifice necessary, I just forgive you?”
B. God sacrificing himself to himself to save us from himself by creating a loophole in the architecture for condemnation he engineered in the first place? This is your solution for a problem in which you yourself are the problem. It’s like a doctor stabbing people to be able to operate and save them.
C. Dying for someone else's crime does not equal justice in any court.
D. The sacrifice was not a sacrifice at all :

1. Jesus is said to be eternal
2. He spent a few days in misery out of his billions of years plus of existence
3. He spent a minutiae of a fraction of his existence suffering knowing he would be resurrected after the ordeal and spend eternity in divine luxury, and that somehow provides him justification to sentence us to trillions of years of eternity suffering without end?
4. Jesus is a supernatural immortal who suffered temporary mortal punishment and then sentences mortals to supernatural eternal punishment if they do not receive his sacrifice.
5. Why is three days of punishment followed by eternity in glory sufficient for all the horrible deeds any man has ever committed, but billions of years suffered in hell by a good moral person who does not believe due to lack of evidence is not sufficient?

2-) Nature of The Christian god
I. He is supposed to be an all Powerful and All mighty being and yet he died on a cross by his own creation (If you see someone claiming to be god and then you saw him hie before your very eyes, How on earth are you supposed to conclude anything else other than "This guy is a liar"?)
Modern Christians would respond to this saying "Only the Human part died, The Divine part wasn't affected"
Which again, doesn't make any sense :
A. Even when assuming a human sacrifice is somehow necessary for salvation, The sacrifice of 1 Human being can never be Enough to atone for the sins of all of mankind since Adam and Eve till the return of jesus.

Quoting from it : "The belief in the One Nature of the Incarnate Logos is essential, necessary and fundamental for redemption. Redemption requires unlimited propitiation sufficient for the forgiveness of the unlimited sins of all the people through all ages. There was no solution other than the Incarnation of God the Logos to offer this through His Divine Power.
Thus, if we mention two natures and say that the human nature alone performed the act of redemption, it would have been entirely impossible to achieve unlimited propitiation for man's salvation. Hence comes the danger of speaking of two natures, each having its own specific tasks. In such case, the death of the human nature alone is insufficient."
It's very clear that saying only the human part died doesn't make any sense, Even according to the Christian theology itself.
B. The Trinity is based on a false idea
I know, It's a classic Argument against Christianity but you can't deny that it's an actual damning argument against the Christian theology.

1. God is all knowing but Jesus wasn't all knowing (mark 13:32)
2. Jesus is supposed to be god, but he is praying to himself to save himself with cries and tears?? (Luke 22:41-44)
3. Jesus is god but we can't say he is good because only god is good?? (Luke 18:18-19)
4. God can't be tempted by evil (James 1:13) but yet jesus was tempted by satan?? (Matthew 4:1)
5. Jesus is god but he can't do a thing on his own?? (John 5:31) 6.Jesus is supposed to be the same as the father, But their teachings are different? (John 7:16)

And so many more, Throught the bible i can't help but notice the intense number of verses which clearly states Jesus can't be god.
3-) The Problem of a Historical Jesus (Why we don’t know the actual historical Jesus)
I. No contemporary historical evidence,
A. No historian alive during Jesus day wrote about Jesus despite ample opportunity

1. The kings coming to his birth
2. Herod’s slaughter of baby boys
3. The overthrowing of money changers
4. Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem where he is declared king by the whole town.
5. Darkness covering the whole earth for hours on Jesus’ Death
6. The earthquakes at Jesus’ death
7. The rending of the temple veil at Jesus’ Death
8. The resurrection of Jesus that was seen by 500 witnesses.(Only Paul claims that, even tho he never met jesus)

II. The Gospels are contradicting, late hearsay accounts
A. Mark, the earliest gospel, was written at least after 70 A.D. (referencing fall of temple) by a non-eyewitness, and makes numerous cultural and geographical errors that a Jewish writer would not have made such as locations of rivers, cultural customs regarding divorce, locations of towns or Jesus quoting from the greek Septuagint etc. (see geographical and historical errors in this link, https://holtz.org/Library/Philosophy/Metaphysics/Theology/Christianity/Criticism/Bible%20Problems%20by%20Packham%201998.htm#ERRORS )
B. The other gospels all copied from Mark. Luke and Matthew contain over 70% of Mark and mainly make changes in attempts to fix blatant errors made in Mark and to correct Mark’s poor grammar.The writer of Luke even reveals to us in Luke 1:2 that he was not an eyewitness, but that the story has been passed down to him.
C. Four where chosen by the church father Iraeneus because he believed the earth was founded on four pillars and so too, should the gospels be founded by only four accounts.
Iraenus also revealed the names of the Gospels in the late second century, without any reason to assume they where the authentic authors - no one knows who actually wrote them!
D. John was initially considered heretical by the early church because of its variation from the synoptic but was overwhelmingly popular amongst Christians and so was included.
E. The book of Revelations was also considered heretical by many :
For centuries The Revelation was a rejected book. In the 4th century, St.John Chrysostom and other bishops argued against it. Christians in Syria also reject it. The Synod of Laodicea: c. 363, rejected The Revelation. In the late 380s, Gregory of Nazianus produced a canon omitting The Revelation. Bishop Amphilocus of Iconium, in his poem Iambics for Seleucus written some time after 394, rejects The Revelation. When St.Jerome translated the Bible into Latin, producing the Vulgate bible c. 400, he argued for the Veritas Hebraica, meaning the truth of the Jewish Bible over the Septuagint translation. At the insistence of the Pope, however, he added existing translations for what he considered doubtful books: among them The Revelation. The Church in the East never included the Revelation.
4-) The early church did not seem to know anything about a historical Jesus. Huge amounts of disagreement over Jesus in the first hundred years :

1. Some churches didn’t even believe he had a physical body, prompting Paul to write about that very issue.
   
2. There was an enormous debate between all the major early churches as to whether Jesus was divine or not, this was settled at the council of Nicea by the Roman Emperor Constantine.
   

5-) Which Bible?
A. Over 450 English versions of the bible All are translated using different methods and from entirely different manuscripts
B. Thousands of manuscripts disagreeing with each other wildly in what verses and even books they contain.
C. Different translations teach entirely different things in places, some often leaving out entire chapters and verses or containing footnotes warning of possible error due to uncertainty about the reliability of the numerous manuscripts.

How many attempts would it take to finally get it right ?!
6-) The Morality of the bible
I don't like using Morality as an argument because i believe it's a subjective thing, But I cannot help but notice how the morals of the OT and the NT are completely contradictory
In the OT god was Angry, Vengeful, Demands war, order genocides, Ordered the killing of children and even the ripping open of pregnant women.
But in the NT he somehow became loving, a father figure, saying if anyone hits you you shouldn't even respond back.

• In Conclusion: I don't think Christianity can be accepted as the truth by any logical person (Even most convert stories i heard were basically "I saw jesus in a dream" or "The holy spirit held my hand")

There is so many Theological confusion, A salvation idea that makes 0 sense, Lack of any form of historical critirea of knowing what is true manuscripts and what is hearsays (The authors of the gospels are all Anynomous),
There is even disagreement within Christianity itself about what stories go into the bible (Many stories have been found out to be false like John 8:1-11 and Mark 16:18)
