Has anyone recently started taking Saxenda in the US? How did you go about getting it? I’ve had a prescription that neither Amazon nor CVS has been able to fill for a month and a half.
I don’t know what to do at this point. I want to start the process so bad but I can’t...

On my fourth treatment out of 12 and my hair is falling out in 'near' clumps. I was told not to worry, it wont all fall out. Fine. Not concerned either way but like to know what to look forward to. I was also told I was lucky as it meant instant menopause for me. What does that mean? I was peri going into this. Does this mean no hot flashes or rage or just less of them or a shorter time frame?
Also, was told so many things regarding the advancement and stages that I don't have a firm grasp on what is going on. Stage 3 duodenal carcinoma, everything removed via abdominal surgery, tumour grew rapidly in 1 month and never showed on a CT. Clear edges on removal and 2 out of 8 ducts were positive. Delay between surgery and treatment of 7 weeks (I don't know what happened, I did everything as told). I know cancer in the ducts is not good and the hope is the folfox finds any stray cancer and kills it. Am I still stage 3 until a certain benchmark? I was told I have a 50% chance of it returning in 5 years without FolFox. No word on chances with it.

hey all this one’s for the folks with vaginas - I had a superficial fistulotomy on May 1st and am about 3 weeks post op.. my wound is starting to make good progress on closing but I know I’m about a month away still from it being fully filled in and everything but I am wondering when you started to feel comfortable with penetrative sex? I personally am going to wait until the wound is fully filled in to avoid an infection risk but once it is am I good to go? Did you have pain? Did your wound produce more discharge after? Help!

As many know, I recently started a business selling Marvel Champions singles called Kingdom Come Cards. I found out quickly that I probably priced certain cards way too low due to them selling out in the first day. I've never been grounded since my parents are intelligent human beings but whenever someone at school mentions they've been grounded I eyeroll. This is false imprisonment and should be classified as domestic violence.
If I was a legislator, I would push for a law, effective immediately, which classifies parental grounding as false imprisonment unless between midnight and 3:00, in a government-declared stay at home order, or in a weather emergency (such as weather below -30°C). Violations would result in up to 1 month in jail (or up to 12 months and loss of custody for repeat offenders).
In other words, if a man cannot trap his wife inside, he shouldn't be allowed to trap his kids either.

I went to look at a barista job (I just moved to a new city). One of the workers there took my information down and tested me out to see my bar skills. Shortly later, I get a call to come in the next week for a training shift, so I do. However, not even two hours into the shift, the boss calls. She says that I can leave for the day because he wants me to come in another day when there’s a rush. (She checked the cameras.) For context, I was supposed to meet her that day. Obviously, I never got the opportunity to. The manager there said they’ll call me, but should I really hold onto that word or just start looking for another barista job?

Sooo many flairs apply to this sorry. Trying to find sources on the internet for what I’m experiencing sucks so here we are!! I don’t mean for this to sound like a rant or vent it’s just genuinely exhausting trying to look up every single thing on google and not getting anything back.
I used to publicly Identify as aromantic but it’s been on and off for years now. I’ve been in “romantic” relationships but have always been the one to end it due to something vague related to being aromantic or just vague reasons in general [I feel. SO bad for doing this.] Every relationship I get into feels hollow or like nothings really changed, I don’t really like being in them in general but keep getting into them because I think I can “change” or whatever. I’m currently in one and am having the same issues as the previous ones, Words of affection repel me and make me super uncomfortable for some reason which I don’t think establishing boundaries can help with that because it’s literally saying “hey you showing your love for me makes me sick.” Like that’s a horrible thing to say to someone ;-; But it’s also horrible to let it continue without them knowing yk? It makes it worse because these people keep telling me how much they love and adore me and I don’t necessarily know what I feel towards them, when the continuous affirmation of love is involved I feel even worse because I don’t want to Break their heart or something, or put them in a bad place. A lot of people keep developing crushes and whatnots on me and It makes me think I’m a huge jerk for not really feeling anything.
For the current relationship there’s zero issues, super sweet person, etc. After knowing eachother for a while I was considering getting into a relationship with my reasoning based on us having similar interests, we work in the same place, them being a breath of fresh air considering they’re not a horrible person, and I may have and still be mistaking excitement for romantic interest. We hung out and ended up making out which looking back on it I regret + ended up experiencing all three types of dissociation through, it was just lame, after that we obviously entered a relationship and now I not only feel stuck but also super confused and pressured. They talk a lot about how much they love me and apologized for being so over zealous but the overzealousness scare the shit out of me. It’s been around a month and a half, and anything we do in relation to things partners do just makes me feel weird. I do not want to hurt them but already am. Last partner I had, I broke up with him because I felt it’s unfair to him and didn’t want to have to “act” but he recently said he “doesn’t mind waiting on me and still loves me” like. PLEASE HELP. every relationship I get in makes me want to run away from everything and everyone I know; which I usually blame on mental disorders and tell myself I just need to get better in the head but I have really got to figure out if I’m aromantic or not.
My apologies for there being so much, nobody I know really experiences this and if they do they tell me to “just be honest” or “just break up,” which doesn’t solve anything. So many thanks to anyone who responds.

My husband (34M) and I (32F) have been together for 6 years and now have a 10 month old baby. I moved out here to the Bay Area from the east coast for him and our life together. I feel as is I have made a lot of sacrifices on my end and am starting to become resentful towards my husband and in laws. For background context I come from an immigrant family raised poor and have done very well for myself. I was the first one in my entire extended family to go to college and still the only one to be a collegiate athlete. I have worked since I was 14 at any hosting/waitressing gig that I could find. To this day I still help support my family financially as most eldest children of immigrants do. Regardless I managed to save up 250k by age 27. I fell in love with my husband at that age and decided to move out to him after a 1 1/2 year of making long distance work. We were both on the same page of what we wanted in life with family etc. My now husband however is a white male with a relatively privileged background in comparison. Moving 3000 miles from everything I knew was hard for sure but I jumped in and made it work and found a way. After moving to california I found a good paying job in a new industry/career I wanted to pursue after only 3 months. And quickly in 5 years I am now able to make annually what I had originally saved up. As I’m sure everyone knows affording living in California is no easy feat but with my large lump savings it has allowed us to become home owners. After having a baby however the stress of finances and reliable help has heightened. Day care for a 40 hour work week is 3000-4000 a month in my area, and as hard as I’ve researched there is nothing (and I wish I was exaggerating) under 2900 a month. Before taxes are taken out that is easily the equivalent of a 60-70k job. My mother in law is a retired pre school teacher of almost 40 years. Part of the reasoning of my move was to have my MIL around to help raise our babies. She seems like a perfect fit right? We weighed out all 3 options, move to him, move to me, or move somewhere new entirely. We both wanted to be close to family and decided that my husbands place would be the most ideal. He also kind of guilt tripped me into agreeing that since they were older than my parents and its best to spend more time with them as we‘ll have more time with my mom later. My MIL however is the most passive aggressive person I have ever met, BUT ONLY TO ME! She has 2 sons and I am married to the youngest. She doesn’t have a good relationship with her other daughter in law but would literally suck her d*** to get her approval. I have always gone above and beyond to be kind and giving to her. In comparison to her other daughter in law I am a complete 180. She has a key and an open door policy to my place, I converse and spend time with her for hours and I constantly cook and or buy dinner for them on a weekly basis. I am thoughtful and buy all the family’s presents for all holidays and birthdays. When the men are around she is the sweetest thing but when its just us, always throws the most jabs at me. From saying things like “oh my you sure you’re not going to break your ankle in those or are you just trying to get attention” “wow more food are you trying to make me fat/out do me?” “Is that new, ive never seen it, do you have a shopping addiction he he” To even “I'm not sure we need you around here making us look bad you sure you don’t miss the east coast?” I take it in the chin with a smile on my face and always change the subject as I was always taught to not talk back to my elders. My husband told that she was going to take care of the baby once its time for me to go back to work. Weeks before that time came she started talking about how busy she was with volunteering and sending daycare recommendations our way as a hint. When her and my husband had that talk everything seemed fine as she started watching the baby 5x a week. Im the one who does the drop off and pick up however and I have to hear it every day 2x a day. To her son she only says how happy and lucky she is to get to spend time with her granddaughter etc. To me she is saying how it takes up so much of her time and its boring watching a baby. My husband doesn’t even believe me. After sacrificing my family (which I miss so deeply) my friends, and even my passion in life which was coaching youth sports just to jump in the corporate bs world because I recognized quickly that’s what it would take to live comfortably out here, IM DRAINED. All my money, time, efforts and energy have gone into him and his family pretty much and I can’t even get the support I was promised. Honestly it would have been easy for me to just buy a house straight up for 250k on the east coast have no mortgage, just coach and make a little money but it was what made me happy, and have my mom around who would happily help with our babies around. Instead I’ve given it all to this man for this situation and for my MIL to constantly complain about “how much i do for you” instead of recognizing how much I’ve done for her son. It infuriates me. My mother would view this as a privilege not a burden and cries every time we have to FaceTime. My MIL has asked me to ”take a day or two off work every week” or “make sure you try to be here by 2 when my shows starts” and I’m at a breaking point. I’ve been sneaking into work late and getting out early for months now just to ease her load. But I’m struggling at work and it’s noticeable in my results now. I also make more money then my husband by 6 figures and have the financial pressures on my back. One day I snapped back with “that’s something you're gonna need to talk to your son about” and all hell broke loose. My husband came home pissed that I had said so many derogatory things to his mom, shamed her for not being a good enough caretaker, the works. She then said she “needed space” and I took a week off work in order to take care of the baby. I went to try and smooth things over with her after a couple days and found her incredibly hammered at 9am in the morning. Stumbling on her words and feet my FIL came out looking mortified and tried to hide her back in her room. I figured she was upset and left it at that only to try to go back the next morning TO THE SAME THING. After talking to my husband he finally tells me that she is a struggling alcoholic and has been for 50 years! He says “but she’s a functioning alcoholic so she just needs to get this intense period out of her system she’ll bounce back“ The rage and disbelief I had with both the situation and my husband was out of control. Was she drinking while watching the baby? You knew about this and put our daughter in that situation? To save money on daycare you let our daughter there knowingly? Functioning wtf?! Was all her BS a way to get distance so she could drink? The more I thought back there were definitely days where I just thought she was more loopy than others, was that her drinking a moderate amount.? After talking to my SIL it was and she has been drinking every day without a day off for the last 20 years and that’s why they had a tainted relationship. I didn‘t talk to my husband for days and started looking for other homes on the east coast closer to my family. After a couple days I sat him down and only said this.. “Here are other homes we can move to or you get another job to cover the bills or I’m reporting all of you to CPS and there is no more us and our family” It feels harsh, so Am I the A****** for bluntly dropping this ultimatum on my husband?

I just recently turned 16 and I’m sure this could be relatable on a certain level; the feeling of not wanting to grow up but at the same time feeling glad ‘aging’ is natural so i can finally leave ts behind. My mom’s always been someone i felt i could trust and talk to but it wasn’t till i got into my teen years that i’ve purposely distanced myself from her even when she asked me to open up to her. I was never sure why i did that but when i remember the times i’ve tried to do so, she’d bring up how bad her childhood was. I always showed her sensitivity towards her experiences but i always end up feeling worse than before, feeling guilty for even feeling sad for whatever reason, believing my ‘suffering’ wont ever be serious until it meets her own. Ive gotten so used to her telling me to be ‘strong’, more specifically if I’m feeling ‘sad’ to push through. The few times i did breakdown she’d begin with a lecture, talking about how i mustn’t ever show my little sibling such ‘weakness’. I figured this could cause a trauma or something, to see an older sibling be so weak, and to this day i haven’t told anyone but my notebook how i feel. The last time i came to seek her comfort was when i felt i was genuinely going to find myself irreplaceably hurt, she only looked at me and said casually ‘you need vitamins is what you need, have you tried exercise?’ And that was the last time i ever asked for her comfort, i have no idea why it felt like a last jab at me, what’d i do to deserve it? I feel as if that was enough to tell me she was anything but sensitive, id compared her to a robot so much it makes more sense then anythings shes ever told me. Now her yelling; i feel like I’m pretty much ‘immune’ to it. My older brother gave me the tip “don’t say anything at all, just let her do whatever and it’ll be over faster” and it works like a charm, because before i had known, id attempt to get words in and get called disrespectful for interrupting or talking back. Theres so much i haven’t mentioned about my issue, id really appreciate an alter of perspective on this at least.

My friend/ex/closest companion of multiple years has DID and I don't. They're the co-host of the system, so I spend a lot of time with her. Normally, I think I'm pretty good at not having too much anxiety about the many things that could go wrong out of the blue, but today they told me that she's fusing with another co-host. She's fused before multiple times, but never with someone so prominent in the system and someone with such a distinct (for lack of a better word) personality. The host is my closest friend, and I'm terrified that she's going to be radically different after the fusion. I know it's selfish of me, and that this is incredibly good for the system as a whole on their journey, but I just don't want to lose my best friend.

As it currently stands, it doesn't look like there's a native way to follow announcements into a forum post. I have a "games we play" forum on our server and the posts are for various games that our community plays. I would love to be able to follow the devs in these posts, but alas, not possible natively.
Does anyone here know of any bots or workarounds that help with this? Or if there's any word about whether or not this will be implemented?

During my early teens my perception of reality became quite distorted, nebulous. I began experiencing blockage whilst trying to think, my thoughts became cloudy. I also began experiencing stomach issues, I would often skip school because I felt sick in the stomach, causing really strong urges to go to the bathroom. I also felt tired all the time, I lost a lot of the energy I once had. My face changed a lot, I looked seriously ill. My skin looked yellow-ish, and so did my eyes. My eyebags pretty much doubled in size. My breath was and still is bad, as a result I started brushing longer and more often than most people, including my tongue and other parts of my mouth, but I can feel whatever is causing the bad smell comes from deep inside. My sight became worse as well, it pretty much feels like astigmatism. I lost my sense of balance to the point that I couldn't walk straight. Whereas I was once normal, although shy, in the span of a few months my anxiety manifested and sky-rocketed to the point that I'd get daily headaches from the overthinking and constant worrying. I then became self-aware about my lack of balance...i won't go into detail here, but this destroyed my life. All this went on for 9 years until my stomach started making these absurdly loud noises, constantly, everyday. A lot of times in the middle of class, which was super embarrassing. The stomach pain got worse, and this went on for about a year until I decided to do some research online, and that's when it dawned on me that I might have celiac's disease. Right then and there I stopped consuming anything with even the slightest trace of gluten in it.
I've been on a celiac's diet for over a year and while I feel there might be some long-term damage, my health has improved drastically. My balance has returned. I can actually form sentences without stopping halfway through because I can't reach the words I want. My anxiety has decreased considerably, although not completely. My reality feels a lot more clear, it's like I'm waking up from a very long dream.
But in these 10 years, people have obviously noticed what was going on with me, and those that didn't cut ties with me because I was acting weird decided to mock me and bully me, several of which were school teachers. I saw life-long friends join the fun and betray me. I lost my reputation, my friends, and a decade of my life.
The whole point of this, is that I want proof of what I experienced. I wanna prove to everyone that doubted me and minimized my issues that I went through something serious. A piece of paper that I can display as to say "It was this all along, folks". So I wonder, what physical "scars" should I look for that could help me get an official diagnosis. For instance, my teeth have taken on a yellowish color, particularly noticeable on the biting parts of my crowns. Not only that, but it's like they're inexplicably deteriorating. I also read that if I pull my lower eyelid down, the color of the inside part will be different for people experiencing celiac reactions, but I'm not sure how to properly check this. I know that if I start eating stuff with gluten and a few days or a week later I take a blood test, it will show up that I have celiac's disease, but how do i prove all the other stuff like the lack of balance?

Gordon Moore, the de facto head of DOSC Computerized Ordinance Board's "Circuit Breakers". watched as engineers scurried about the bay of the workshop. Tia Baisho, the chief engineer of the Kinetic Movement Board, ordered the workers to and fro as final checks were completed on Project Adam.
Gordon had mixed feelings as he studied the culmination of his work with MOSFET transistors, work he admitted was deftly applied by Ms. Baisho in a stroke of mechanical genius. However, the notion of Project Adam didn't sit well in his stomach, a feeling shared by his fellow Circuit Breakers. On the one hand, Project Adam was a major breakthrough in research and the first of its kind, on the other it almost seemed to be an affront to God.
The creation, the machine, that the KMB swooned over, stared blankly out across the floor, its head motionless as an engineer tweaked a panel upon the side of its head. A dull red glow emanated from its single ocular device as three sets of hands tinkered with it. The creation, Adam, as the KMB team had so called it, perhaps sacrilegiously, was on and "alive" in the most twisted sense of the word. Its ocular device registered everything that passed before it, feeding a terminal elsewhere in the workshop.
This test was one of many, but the first open to the military command. Above the workshop on a catwalk stood some general surrounded by a cadre of steely officers and swooning DOSC administrators. The DOSC admins seemed to talk nonstop as Gordon observed the military party, no doubt trying to pry the general's scowl from his face and illicit some positive emotion that the man kept locked away.
After what felt like a long stall, the KMB engineers fizzled away to posts behind ballistic glass shields. This brought a small smirk to Gordon's lips. They too, deep down in their uncertainty, feared their creation, wondering if they had taken science too far. At the base of the issue, Gordon acquiesced to the fact that regardless of the moral or social quandary raised by Adam, he, no it, was still undoubtedly a marvel to behold and he quietly reveled in the fact that he not only had a hand in it's creation but too that he would witness its first live testing.
A single technician rolled out a cart in front of Adam. Upon the cart laid a M3 submachine gun. The weapon was unloaded, however, accompanying it were two loaded magazines. Once the technician had retreated behind the safety of the ballistic glass, Baisho sounded the beginning of the test.
At a terminal behind Adam sat another technician. He began to clack away at the device, inputting commands. After a brief delay, Adam lurched to action. Bulky and halting, Adam's movements showcased its rudimentary design, a symptom of technological limitations and the first foray into such technology. However, the automation displayed no issues taking grip of the weapon and with slow but deliberate action, took a magazine in its freehand, sliding the metal box home.
Racking the SMG back, and assuming a hip-firing position, the room grew so silent Gordon swore he could hear the general above draw an anticipating breath. The controlling technician looked to Baisho for permission and she nodded her head at him. The click of the safety selector was heard briefly before thirty .45cal rounds slammed down range at paper targets set up before the test.
Gordon felt both pride and nausea as he bore witness to the machine. Stanced one leg slightly further back than the other, the SMG did not rattle or shake as it would in an ordinary man's hand. The steel grip of Adam as well as specialized servos and shock absorbers kept the grease gun firmly on target as it emptied the magazine. Anyone on the receiving end would have received a massive amount of lead relative to military standards on accuracy and precision with such a weapon.
The magazine clunked to the floor as Adam released it from its well and picked up the second, ignoring the spent casings that now littered the cart before it. Just as slow and deliberate as before, Adam loaded the second magazine and flipped the selector switch from safe to fire. However, this time, the machine showed off its abilities. Unloading part of the magazine on the left-most target, Adam swiveled right, legs remaining stationary as the torso turned, and unloaded the remaining rounds at the right-most target.
Just as before, Adam's aim was tight and true, the automation's crushing grip keeping it's weapon unnaturally stable. The whirl of the machine's servos sounded as it straightened, aligning its torso with its forward-facing hips before dropping the second magazine and setting the SMG down on the cart.
While the most impressive display was over, Adam's test would continue for several more minutes, KMB showing of its ability to conduct mundane tasks such as moving boxes, ammo cases, pushing the very cart its weapon laid on, and several movement patterns among other tasks. Tasks that displayed Adam's ability to conduct more than just warfare, tests that gave Gordon hope for peaceful applications.
Gordon took another look at the general above. The man's face remained the same but in the dim light upon the catwalks, Gordon could see a glint in his eye. DOSC, it would seem, had once more done the impossible and the face of technology would be forever changed.
DOSC-KMB/DOSC-COB Project ADAM, A-100 Android

I have moved three times over the last few years. All four states being different environments entirely ranging from rain forests to desert. As different as the environment was however, society doesn't really change much and you find most of the same things. Not really that different after all.
I've spent a long time thinking about why no where I go feels like home.
It hasn't felt like home because I've come to find that home is wherever my favorite person is. I don't really have one of those and haven't for about four years so no where has quite felt right. I love my friends and family but it just simply cannot fill the space in my heart for some romance.
I thought it might be LA recently and I came all the way out here hoping for love and a much better job when a girl invited me this way. I don't regret it and the job part was true and I am super happy about it but the relationship fell apart and now I am just in LA. Doing whatever and working and living on my own.
Maybe someone could show me around or give me an excuse to fly somewhere else you never know but I am always seeking some new adventure and maybe you could be the next one.
Being single for this time was useful and required to learn what I need and want out of life myself but I've never really cared for being single. Life just has a certain energy to it when you have a partner that you can't find anywhere else and my most cherished memories always involve someone else in one way or another. I was never meant to be alone and I am passionate in the way I love, and my life won't quite feel complete until I convince someone to journey through life with me.
As far as what you'd get with me - well I am nothing special. I'm relatively intelligent but no genius. I am not ugly nor would I call myself particular handsome. I'm just a dude who talks to much and has way to much energy for his own good and smokes pot like it's going out of style soon and still somehow manages to never procrastinate much.
I am never one to take a good thing for granted, I am not rich but I could be a lot worse off and enjoy the work I do even if it's nothing anyone would ever notice much. I am in decent shape as well, I actually leave the couch occasionally unlike most potheads...
Just kidding I love you guys and if a cute stoner girl shows up I'd be just fine with that. You don't have to be anything special either. I can't say looks don't matter at all but I'm not look for a super model or an actress.

I have been applying to jobs a lot more recently, and I have noticed that I experience physical changes when filling out digital forms. What do I mean by this? Well, let's just put it this way:
Every time I see Workday pop-up during a job application, my palms begin to sweat and my heart rate rises significantly. Interestingly, my WPM (words per minute) also increases well above my average rate. For context, this may be because Workday is terrible at parsing resumes so I hand-type my basic information in. I also have a copy/paste document with my work experience because I'm no masochist.
Unfortunately, after completing an application in the portal, I feel the need to keep the momentum up and apply for more jobs. Does anyone else experience this?
Please don't suggest that I apply to work at Workday, I think that would be bad for my heart.
