I feel like I'm missing something simple.
There has got to be a quick and easy way to generate repetitive code that only has a few changes - such as inserting values from a list. (Very similar to how a mail merge worked back in the day.)
When I try and search for this functionality, I get results for AI code generation. That's cool and all, and they actually work for this, but seems like massive overkill for a simple problem.
If I search for mail merge functionality, I'm getting scripts and specific results for using email, which isn't what I want either.
Essentially, I want a template block of code that has placeholders that will be replaced with values from a list(s) I provide.
I'm guessing there's a specific term for this that I'm just unaware of. It feels like the sort of thing you'd be able to find a simple online tool for.

Sorry for being beginner developer, but I managed to test all the API's from Backblaze until this one. I am able to authorize account and download file by name, but I can't make the request to get upload url work. I am getting an error code with status 401 that I have bad auth token, but I don't know how to provide it.
For b2_download_file_by_name, I provided it as a query parameter after the name of the file. For example: /file/containerName/fileName?Authorization={token}. That request worked fine.
For b2_get_upload_url, I need to provide bucketId as a query parameter in the URL according to the documentation, but it says that an authorization token needs to be provided as a header parameter. When I try to send a GET request to b2_get_upload_url=?bucketId={myBucketId}, I don't know how to provide an Authorization token. In the postman, the auto-generated header Authorization is not editable, so I can't add my token there. Could you please help me out with this one?

My husband was away (for work) and I received a call, claiming that she's a process server and she's looking for (husband's name) who resides at (our house number--albeit, we're listed on the phone book).
I asked her why she's looking for (husband's name), she said to me that there is a summon for my husband to appear at court and that he's ignored the written summons/letters from the law office of 'Barrington and Associates' for a civil matter.
I was surprised to hear this because I check our mail daily and I've never come across to any written summon/letter from a law firm named 'Barrington and Associates.'
She asked me if he's home, I said 'no.' She proceeded to ask if she can leave a phone number (it's a 855 area code, definitely not local) and case number. I asked her where is this proceeding going to be, and she said (the county we live in). So I let her give me her case number and phone number. She told me that I can call on behalf of my husband since I'm his spouse. In fact, she asked me to call that number as soon as possible on the behalf of my husband.
That's the part that really confusing for me. She didn't ask anything else and I hung up then.
After the phone call, I called my husband to let him know what's going on. I went online to the county's website (there's a case number search/lookup) and I can't find anything and when I googled variation of Barrington and Associates, I don't see anything locally.
Is this a scam?
My husband said that, if he's summoned to court, he's more than happy to attend. We have no debts, have not witnessed any crime and so on. Husband said, to not call the number (I won't obviously) but yeah, we'd just wait for the people to serve him if this is indeed a real summon.

Hello everyone! I have recently come across two watches that are in my budget. I’m decently new to garmin watches, so please help me out here. The two watches that I’ve been trying to decide between are a black forerunner 45 or a sea foam instinct standard. They’re both about the same price used online and I’ve been trying to decide which to get. From what I’ve seen the instinct comes with more features, but is slightly older and has a older generation sensor. Not sure if that matters but I wanted to get everyone’s opinion! I kind of like the design of the 45 more just because it’s a bit more universal, but I have never seen the instinct in person nor the sea foam color. For reference, I am a male and I go to the gym daily for weight training and go on walks/runs with my dog and like do do cardio at the gym. I also like hiking and snowboarding which seem to be definitely better on the instinct. So I’m not sure!!

I have access to Stevens work, so if I ask copilot to describe how a timekeeping app should work and build it, you could publish the response as your work, leaving your fellow employee out of the loop.
For over 10 years I have stored code in GitHub and DevOps (tfs) and all of my code is used to train the bot, so is IP a thing?
Did the bot not just use my code to generate answers for anyone in the world!

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I've had a weird life path, but at the age of 27 last May, I finished my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. I got a minor in English with creative writing and was in some clubs too, but I have mostly spent the past year enjoying my pursuits. Now I need to begin building my career. My focus with my BA in Math was statistics, and in January I started an online Masters of Science in Data Science program from my alma mater and have been improving my coding skills and progressing through the program well, even grinding Leet Code problems when I have the chance. In this past year, I've been supporting myself by working at a coffee shop but I desperately want to move on and find work that I find interesting. I think I have a big case of imposter syndrome, because I have a big fear that I've forgotten everything I've learned, or am not good at problem-solving or whatever, but it has made starting my career hard. Any advice on how I can move into a more aligned field with my skills? I feel like I'm in a bit of a tricky spot since I am still taking courses, and I know internships are good, but I feel like I have no experience and don't even know how to get it. In my undergrad I had to work to pay rent so I never got a lab position or an internship. Or what types of jobs to really search for. My current job is killing my soul and I barely make enough to survive even though I work so much. Any and all advice would be appreciated!

I just received my IWB holster from QVO and I'm currently not impress with its build especially considering the thing is $150 ($170 with discount code). However, since this is my first IWB holster, is normal for weapon lights, X300U-A, to get holster damage?
Also, I would appreciate it if any one can share a picture of their holsters, if anyone has bought a holster from QVO. Although I'm no holster expert, I can tell that my holster doesn't have the definition, contours and creases like what I found online of other holsters from them.

Went to the post office today with my husband (“Mike”). He was doing a return for an online purchase and I was buying stamps. There was only one person working and a relatively long line. An old man came in behind us and immediately started complaining into the air (he was alone so seriously talking to no person in particular) about there only being one person working. Mike and I both continued to face forward and ignore him as did everyone else. Eventually when Mike and I were up next in line, he got out his phone to pull up the QR code for his return, and the old man says “businesses really should put signs out front that say ‘don’t come in if you can’t stay off your damn phone.’” Mike turned around and said “I’m using it for this package. It makes it faster.” To which the old man’s response was just a grunt. Well, we got up and as expected, the return was super quick and easy since she only has to scan the QR code and print the label. Mike turned back to the man and said, “See, quick and easy, even with a phone.” And the man said “still no reason for everyone to be on their phones in a place of business.”

To any students taking CS101 this semester, I want to ask, do you think the labs are effective at teaching you programming? Are the tutors and teachers in the labs helpful enough for you to do well in programming? If not then how did you guys start from no experience in programming to being very good at it? Like did you watch online videos or do practice exercises on a coding website to improve? I really wanted to know your answers because I tend to struggle with Compsci101 and I think I might fail the course this semester, which I think I would need to retake it next semester before doing Compsci 130. Hey all, hoping I can get some information on the use of the generator in the above picture (just a curiosity).
For context, I live in Newton, KS and we were hit by a pretty bad storm Sunday night, knocking out the power for the entire town mostly due to down trees, down power lines, piles, etc. Its a mess, but the crews repairing the system have been great.
I'm two days without power, so have been looking around to better understand the power system/infrastructure around me and handing out high-fives, thumbs ups, and thank you's to the electric crews working in the area. It's been interesting to look up different items and learn how they're used in the power structure of my area.
While out today I noticed this generator plugged into this street side box and running. It's locked to the pole and owned by the electric crews.
I'm curious as to what the purpose might be. I don't want to bug them, as they're busy, so came here to see if folks may know as I couldn't find anything online. This is purely a curiosity.
They're still trying to find all of the issues in the area. Is this being used to put power to a small area so they can track where it is and isn't getting to? I assume they're not actually powering homes with it.
