Reviews🔗Galco Gunleather Ruger Wrangler Holster and Belthttps://preview.redd.it/j2i9vhv27d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c0d7d9f33407b54daf2f722fab4e3b38c1a2f610 As a seasoned range-goer, I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Galco Gunleather Ruger Wrangler Cartridge Belt. This belt not only adds a touch of retro charm to my gear but also provides a functional solution to my ammo needs. The stearhide belt strap with. 22-caliber cartridge loops caught my eye right away. It effortlessly accommodates my Wrangler Holster, making it easy to reload on the go. The brass buckle adds a classic touch, giving it an authentic Western vibe that I love. However, one downside I noticed was the belt length. At 34 inches, it was a bit too long for my preference, and I had to adjust it before heading to the range. Also, the holster is sold separately, which means you'll need to purchase it separately to complete your setup. Overall, despite the minor inconvenience of the belt length and the need for a separate holster purchase, the Galco Gunleather Ruger Wrangler Cartridge Belt has become a staple in my range bag. It combines style and functionality in a way that truly makes me feel like I'm carrying a piece of the American frontier with me. 🔗Cartridge Looped Western Embossed Leather Belthttps://preview.redd.it/k4r3lz937d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0b19c7f7c256e9491d895167eb6593dc2af1fefc I recently had the opportunity to try out the Hunter Company Embossed Cowboy Belt with 45 Caliber Cartridge Loops. It has an air of authenticity to it with its chestnut tan color and contrasting leather billets. This belt, designed for that classic western aesthetic, has held up well to my daily wear and tear. One of the best features of this belt is its versatility, especially with its three available sizes - Large and XLarge having a perfect fit. I was able to store a good amount of 45 caliber ammunition in its cartridge loops too! However, the lack of availability in various colors and the absence of additional measurements might prove inconvenient for some users. The price also seems a bit higher, considering it's made from full-grain leather. Overall, the American Full-Grain Leather Embossed Cowboy Belt is a sturdy, classic choice for western-style holster carry and shooting activities. It checks all the right boxes when it comes to durability and western aesthetics. But just a note, there's room for improvement on the customizability aspect. 🔗Samsung Original Cartridge Belt for Easy Printinghttps://preview.redd.it/xvmd8mk37d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86ebc24c4410bf88ea015254492b09db935bbc10 I recently tried this Samsung Transfer Cartridge Belt Unit, or JC96-05874B. It's an essential accessory for keeping your prints squeaky clean and of excellent quality. It seamlessly moves the paper from the toner-covered drum to the fuser unit, where it gets heated and sealed. One of my worries was that I might have to replace it frequently due to poor quality, but I was pleasantly surprised by how it held up. The belt unit can be stored for up to 6 months without any degradation in performance. It's also straightforward to install and use. However, I did run into a minor issue with compatibility - I had to update my printer software to make it work properly, but once that was sorted, it was smooth sailing. Overall, the JC96-05874B is a reliable and time-tested product by Samsung that's worth investing in if you want consistent high-quality prints. 🔗Rotary 13241 Torque Converter Belt for Comet Go Cartshttps://preview.redd.it/qhp4fyw37d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=88bed8e96b60f76635471d7766a540dafbb4b870 When I first got my hands on the Rotary Torque Converter Belt, I was initially impressed by how sleek and sturdy it looked. The belt itself is flexible, and it fits perfectly into the engine compartment with ease. Its flat side installs towards the engine, providing a snug fit that ensures a smooth operation. What stood out to me was the design of the belt. The 5/8-inch top width is asymmetric, with a flat side on one end and a slightly angled side on the other. This feature ensures that it's compatible with go carts featuring Comet clutch drives and using belt number 200393 (A, B, or C). My experience with the belt has been largely positive. However, I did find that the installation process could be slightly more straightforward for beginners. It might take a bit of trial and error to get it right, but once it was in place, it worked like a charm. In conclusion, the Rotary Torque Converter Belt is a reliable and efficient solution for those looking to replace their existing belt in go carts. Although it requires a bit of effort to install, it boasts impressive performance and compatibility, making it a great choice for both casual and professional users. 🔗Quiet and High-Performance Poly-V Cartridge Belt for Mitsubishi Modelshttps://preview.redd.it/c5dzzwb47d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67125057f08e7a540a61844b16c0dbc5cc7ddf48 I discovered Continental Elite's Poly-V / Serpentine Belt when I was facing an issue with the belt on my car. I had heard about the brand's reputation for durability and performance, so I thought giving it a try would be worth it. Let me share my experience. When I first installed the belt, I was amazed by how smooth and quiet it ran. The Quiet Channel Technology did its job, eliminating any unwanted noises. The staggered "helicog" profile, combined with the rubber compounds, made a significant difference in my daily drive. Moreover, the belt's flexibility improved its resistance to wear and tear, making it last longer. One of the features I appreciated the most was the polyester tension member. Its treatment reduced elongation, and it worked well with automatic tensioners. The sturdiness of the belt was evident, providing me with confidence in its reliability. However, I had a minor concern. While the belt was easy to install, I found it a bit fiddly at times. The instructions could have been more detailed, making the process less daunting. Additionally, I noticed that the belt wasn't as compatible with some vehicles as I had hoped. I had to go to two different stores to find the right size, which was quite frustrating. In conclusion, I can say that Continental Elite's Poly-V / Serpentine Belt is an excellent product. It offers great performance and durability, and it's quieter than many other alternatives. Despite the minor issues I encountered, I will definitely consider using this belt in the future, and I recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable and efficient serpentine belt. 🔗HP High-Quality Cartridge Belt for Printer Upkeephttps://preview.redd.it/1j5tovm47d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=11b5f39c9722bd3d5373321b3d3e409f917a1dfd The HP C7791-60233-OEM cartridge belt is a must-have for electronics enthusiasts who love to add the latest gadgets to their collection. I've been using this cartridge belt for a few weeks now, and I must say, it's been a game-changer in my home. One feature that stood out to me is its universal compatibility with several models, including 120, 130, and 100 cartridges. This means I can easily switch between devices without worrying about compatibility issues. However, the belt can be a bit tight, which might cause discomfort during longer usage. As a solution, I'd recommend taking a few minutes to adjust it before each use. In conclusion, this cartridge belt has proven to be a reliable and convenient accessory, making it a great addition to any electronics enthusiast's collection. 🔗Heavy-Duty Relubricatable Flange Cartridge Belthttps://preview.redd.it/r0fwgjx47d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=479ea202b09f52408164d76975c05849491bf829 I recently had the opportunity to use the Link-Belt FCU347 Flange Cartridge Unit, and it exceeded my expectations. The heavy-duty bearing unit's cast iron housing and four bolt holes provided an impressive amount of stability and rigidity. The one-piece housing made of cast iron also helped in vibration damping, which was perfect for my industrial application. One feature that I particularly loved was the powder-coated finish, as it offered excellent corrosion resistance. Moreover, the grease fitting on the outer surface allowed me to reapply lubricant easily, ensuring smooth operation. However, there was one minor downside - the non-expansion property limited the applicability for some situations. Nonetheless, in my case, it wasn't a big problem. Overall, the Link-Belt FCU347 Flange Cartridge Unit proved to be reliable and effective in my daily life, demonstrating its value in industrial and commercial applications. 🔗High-Quality Aramid Fiber Red Belt for Universal Usehttps://preview.redd.it/vut7hlk57d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af35f13ff42b426c9d7be111d39b8910c7b224a4 I've been using this Rotary Aramid Belt 5/8" x 140" for some time now, and it's been a game-changer for my daily tasks. The belt is designed to be super durable, making it perfect for high-wear applications. My favorite part about it is that it's universal, fitting a wide range of machines, including large motorized trimmers. One of the standout features of this belt is its Aramid fiber material, which adds an extra layer of protection and strength. Additionally, the size and dimensions of the belt are highly convenient, measuring 5/8" x 140" and replacing the OEM Carlisle 9-3452. I appreciate that it's available in multiple quantities, with 25 cases and 12 pallets available. However, one downside I've noticed is that it can be a bit difficult to store due to its size. Nonetheless, the pros of this belt definitely outweigh the cons, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable, long-lasting cartridge belt. vehicle is a 2001 Silverado with the 5.3 engine. The old compressor went bad. Put a new compressor (Delco) and accumulator (Delco/GM #1522144) in. The top o-ring is what came from the dealership. The bottom oring came out with the old compressor. submitted by ineedtothiink to MechanicAdvice [link] [comments] My issue is the top o-ring doesn't seem to seal or create a tight leak proof seal at all. checked with dealership and also O'Reilly's and they both lost the same oring as the proper one to use. To clarify this is the seal which runs directly to the compressor from the accumulator. So what am I missing here? I can see it's not creating a proper seal |

I debated swapping Heatfall for Intergrated Ammo Feeds for more uses of RSU, but TechnoThumb and NuCav 3 can probably handle most of my normal heat management needs and 3 uses seems like it would be enough for most deployments.

2024.05.18 07:41 CarpathianStrawbs [Gardening] Norfolk making seed history + How Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, one of the largest "traditionalist anti-GMO" seed distributors in the US, accidentally featured and tried to sell a Genetically Modified seed.
- "I think you’re right that these look suspiciously related to Norfolk’s GMO purple tomatoes due to the unique purple flesh and also the deep purple gel. But I find it highly unlikely that these actually are related since the purple GMO event was patented and anybody trying to monetize it would be clearly open to litigation."
- "It’s funny how non-gmo is a thing with home gardeners. You can’t even buy gmo seeds as a consumer."
- "This looks shockingly similar to Baker Creek's Purple Galaxy Tomato that mysteriously disappeared from availability this year."
- "Baker Creek are lying liars who lie. That whole catalog is a festival of photoshop, and then if you fall for it you'll only get about 30% germination."
- "I’d be unsurprised if they are hypocrites, in addition to being wacky."
- "I really suspect that whoever bred the "Purple Galaxy" variety advertised by Baker Creek somehow got some leaked germplasm from Norfolk Healthy Produce's GM breeding program. I don't doubt that it's possible for a natural mutation to pop up that makes purple tomatoes"
"We have had every possible genetic test ran on these tomatoes to ensure they are Non GMO. This is a product of many years of selection work."
"Labs are looking for specific genetic markers the first lab was looking for 2 specific genetic markers, which it did not contain. As stated in the FAQs, this was acquired from a country that does not allow GMO crops."
Is NHP's Purple Tomato related to the "Purple Galaxy"?
We have received many questions about the purple tomato marketed by Baker Creek as “Purple Galaxy” in their 2024 catalogs. We understand from Baker Creek that they will not be selling seeds of this variety. Given its remarkable similarity to our purple tomato, we prompted Baker Creek to investigate their claim that Purple Galaxy was non-GMO. We are told that laboratory testing determined that it is, in fact, bioengineered (GMO). This result supports the fact that the only reported way to produce a purple-fleshed tomato rich in anthocyanin antioxidants is with Norfolk’s patented technology. We appreciate that Baker Creek tested their material, and after discovering it was a GMO, removed it from their website.
- "Whatever your stance on GMO, I think we can all agree that companies have a legal and moral obligation to accurately represent their product to their customers."
- "Baker Creek lied and possibly ripped off another company's IP? Color me absolutely not shocked."
- "Baker Creek doesn't produce the majority of the seeds they sell, they buy them from seed farmers. But they should have known better when they saw a variety that appeared identical to a "first ever" gene edited strain in development."
- "The problem is that they [Baker Creek] lied and said they tested it for GMO several times"
- "Being that Baker Creek has in previous years jumped all over the anti-GMO fearmongering, I'm howling at the irony."
- "typical baker creek hot mess"
- "Bakers Creek lost my care or business with its shenanigans."
- Seeds, fruit and plant material are only allowed in the USA.
- The seeds are a patented variety and are sold to enjoy in your home garden and with your local community.
- No sales of fruit, seeds or plants are permitted in this agreement, including any derived varieties.
- "This is why I grow heirloom."
- "It will be interesting when people start making crosses with the trait."
- "Really cool thing about this is that anthocyanins also delay rotting, so these tomatoes are more shelf-stable, making them more environmentally friendly. Anthocyanins are also good for us (like blueberries). It’s a pretty nifty and elegant design, I’m excited to try them out."
- "Just ordered some of these, can’t wait to try them! I hope I can make purple spaghetti sauce and maybe even some purple ketchup later this year (if you know, you know.) Really cool! It’s not every day you get to be part of a moment in food history."
BAKER CREEK DISCONTINUES PURPLE GALAXY TOMATO SEEDS Baker Creek regrets to inform you that we will not sell seeds of the Purple Galaxy tomato, which we previewed in our 2024 catalogs. After repeated testing, we are unable to conclusively establish that the Purple Galaxy does not contain any genes that have been genetically modified. Baker Creek remains steadfast in its commitment to selling only heirloom and open-pollinated, non-Genetically Modified (“non-GM”) varieties. There is actually a whole rant after that by them about "Big Ag" despite them being one of the most well known online seed companies in the US, but you'll have to read that archive link for the rest.
