2024.05.19 12:36 Melodic-Programmer16 Just a random shit post.

I wanted to start keeping a record of my unhealthy habits, specifically my bad relationship with food. There won’t be reasoning behind the way I write this. Today, I binged and purged. I felt so ugly and I hate myself for doing this. I tried to control it, but I don’t seem able to. The utter lack of control feel like I changed myself to the wall while someone else controls my body. I get this sense of rush when I purging I just want to keep on going. My fingers go further back into my throat where there is no more coming out of me. My brain says to stop myself but my body didn’t react like how I want it to.
I came back from the gym feeling good. I wasn’t even all that hungry; my body just wanted something to fill me up. Usually, it’s hunger, sometimes it’s sexual. It’s sad what my life has become. I feel like a used up corner whore that is free and easy to get at. Thought I still have some standards I tend to not follow them all the time. The amount of times I allowed men to let there excretions linger in my body is insane. Everytime it happens I go to Taco Bell and cry myself to sleep because I know these guys just want me for sex. No one has ever truly stayed and cared for me through all my moments. I get it, who would want to deal with a head case like me. They say I’m the best they ever had but they never satisfy me — except one person but he’s an exception. When I go through these episodes I want men back to back. Just so I can feel something. Am I the male version of a nymphomaniac? No, I googled it. There is a lot of similarities but I don’t believe I am because it’s not a constant craving. People love to assume things about me. I know I shouldn’t care much about what people say, but at the end of the day, it gets to me. It’s worse when it comes from people I thought were close friends.
I know I need to go back to therapy, but I can’t bring myself to go. I have trauma from my past years of therapy and don’t feel comfortable going through that again. This binge eating is getting to me. I’m amazed that I haven’t started the starving process again. Congratulations are in order for that. When I did that, the rapid weight loss scared me but also motivated me to continue. It was actually a slow way of killing myself. I enjoyed the pain of daily existence and how light-headed I got when I moved too fast.
I hate the fact that no one realized what was going on. My teachers didn’t even give a fuck. I know I shouldn’t except them to but still they re mandatory reporters. Are you going to tell me you don’t see a 320-pound kid become 200 pounds in three months as something concerning? My hair was falling out, I was fainting everywhere, and no one cared. My doctor even did a physical on me and believed everything I said. Aren’t these people at all smart enough to determine if someone is lying to their faces. I feel so isolated and still feel the same regardless of having friends who say they care about me. I don’t and can’t believe it. I feel like everyone has been lying to me because I end up getting manipulated for things that I do because I want to be nice. I become a bitch because of that, then no one wants to be friends.
I can’t let people in because I’m scared. It all goes full circle, and it’s been a cycle that I haven’t been able to break out of for years. I just wish I was perfect. I wish I was built like a Greek god and had the personality of an angel. I wish I was one of the luckiest and smartest humans on the planet. I wish I was loved. Actually, that’s all I really want – I just want to be loved.
My heart is just a playground for guys to hurt. It’s been broken over and over again, and I don’t think I could truly love again. My heart is the ant to the kids with the microscope. My tummy hurts from throwing up. What did I do? I hate myself. I can’t even love myself, so how can I want external love if I can’t love myself? Why can’t I love myself? Why do I struggle to see myself as someone who is valid and worthy of love? Billie’s new album came out.

2024.05.19 12:34 Gullible-Pay3732 Controversial trauma processing strategy

Kill the ego of almost everyone that triggers you or has triggered you. Essentially, if you annihilate their ego in your mind, you deoverwhelm your nervous system enough to start processing trauma/cptsd. I personally have not found a better way of calming my nervous down than to literally write a list of inferior behavior or characteristics/traits of others that hurt me.. not for the faint of heart

2024.05.19 12:33 afilthyredditor Xperia 1 VI Initial Impressions

I had the chance to try out the 1 VI yesterday. I am in the market for a new phone and was looking at the S24 Ultra and Pixel 8 Pro. Of the two, I liked the Pixel 8 Pro: despite some reviews saying it's video taking capabilities were good but not as good as its competitors, it's size and stock android experience were more preferable than the S24 Ultra. Anyway, this is about the 1 VI.
Build Quality It's a crossover from 1 V, though the 1 V is closer to the 1 IV when held in hand. The main factor is the screen. It feels light but grippy thanks to its case design.
Screen Gotta be honest here. If I had more time with it, I probably could make out more differences with my 1 IV or the demo 1 V. The shop might not be the best place with its interior lighting. But I honestly thought the 1 VI had the better screen, didn't really notice any pixelation effect. One thing I did not like with the 1 IV was its screen was too dim. I often had to do scrutinize my photos and videos for insufficient lighting and exposure because of the screen dimness. I really appreciate the increase in brightness. Despite that, there doesn't seem to be any noticeable deficiency of viewing experience from a 4k to a 1080p resolution. The 1 VI sharpness and vividness were somewhat better, might be due to the increase in brightness. With regards to playback of 4k recorded videos, I did not notice any deficiency as well. I saw some claims of 4k video playback taking a hit with the new display but the experience was not too dissimilar from the 1 IV and 1 V. So to test this, I streamed some 4k videos from youtube and recorded some 4k videos as well. My fears weren't really confirmed. But I have to say one thing I really doubted from the many reviewers commenting that the downgrade was nothing to worry about, I wouldn't say I was blown away by the quality. Perhaps the 1 IV has spoiled me to the point of not really being blown away by any other phone display, the S24 Ultra's and Pixel's screens included.
Performance I didn't really notice any throttling while using it. Most of the time I was snapping pics and recording videos. My biggest concern with the 1 IV was the overheating. The 1 VI didn't seem to overheat. It was quite snappy.
Cameras Gotta be honest here as well. In terms of quality, I couldn't really notice any glaring improvements. Seemed like more of the same with the 1 IV, with some additional toys to play with. Granted, I'm not the type to scrutinize photos like I'm playing "spot the difference" games. So my expectations of taking good photos are still met. My experience with the new app though was not that good, though I could say the same thing when learning the Xperia's camera suite. With the amount of manual configurations, the old camera suite encouraged fiddling and experimentation. But since there were 3, each had a purpose different from each other. Imagine collapsing all of those things into one app. My initial impressions are mixed. While I do appreciate one app, the execution could have been done better. With the S24U and P8P pro modes, they were able to present a clean and uncluttered interface by presenting users with the basic functions and tucking away the pro features in advanced menus. With the camera app, it was like using the Office Ribbon/toolbar. You could easily fill up the screen with sub-menus with a few clicks. I saw a post here comparing the interface with pixel's camera app, they weren't really mistaken. While the old camera suite was overwhelming at first, I grew to appreciate, embrace and enjoy them over time. I hope the experience would be the same with this unified app.
The thing that stopped me from buying the 1 VI over the P8P was the fingerprint scanner. Mine is currently broken due to the recent update. I can only reuse the fingerprint scanner after powering off the phone for 10 minutes with the case off to let it cool down. Even with this, it's not guaranteed to work all the time. And it's quite annoying to do. This really interferes with utilizing the phone, especially doing banking. But I ended up pulling the trigger on the 1 VI since it seemed like I was still getting an upgrade despite many people's misgivings on the downgraded screen and the price. To me, I understand both camps. The display is a major part of phones. It superseded tactile keyboards as our way of interaction. A 4k display is a premium feature. Getting something less as part of an integral feature affects the perception of the phone's "premiumness", it's quality. While Sony did make major changes and improvements in other areas, it rightly attracted negative feedback due to the resolution change. But then, that's the thing. The 1 VI isn't only just a display, it's also many things as well. It's a battery that's able to power a good display, multiple cameras and the best chip on the current market. It's an SD card slot that can store your pictures, videos and files. It's a headphone jack which allows you to use headsets and IEMs. It's many things constituting to one device. While the price is quite high, it's not absurdly high from my perspective.
Final note: one thing I really don't like with my 1 IV is the read and write speeds to the SD card. You can slap on the best in class SD card inside but it's throttled. I learned this the hard way. Hopefully, but I'm not counting on it, they improved upon this and increase or just leave this be. Just let the read/write speeds be as quick as they're supposed to be. I understand the decision a bit since transferring files to the SD card warms up the phone. I don't know if it's a Xperia design issue or a limitation on phones themselves but really looking forward in improvements here.

2024.05.19 12:33 True-Election-2887 Finally accepted that I won't get to have a relationship

I (25M) have finally accepted that I won't get to experience having a romantic relationship in my life. I'm fairly ugly, probs a -40/10 by my estimate; I look like Leto II from god emperor of dune. In addition to this I have autism and work a low wage job. I just don't see why a woman would go for me when there are far more superior options out there, and even normal guys are struggling these days. At the end of the day though it's not that bad. Tbh I'm lucky where I live in a country with good access to healthcare and a bunch of other stuff.
Not to mention I've found ways to distract myself. I plan on visiting brothels, and I'm working on writing a space opera, and one of my short stories was published in a magazine recently. I've thrown myself into writing fiction, in particular sci-fi, horror, and fantasy. It requires a lot of focus and study. As for sex, well brothels and sex work is legal in my country, and It's not like I'm gonna get a GF anyways. Not everyone gets to experience everything in life. As long as we don't end up living in I have no mouth and I must scream I'll probably be content. For emotional connection, I'm lucky that I have a small group of bros who are also losers like me that emotionally support each other. I've got family as well.
For those coming to the same spot I advise to find a hobby to throw yourself in, and to only be friends with those in the same spot as you who also probably won't escape the situation.

2024.05.19 12:31 Orwellseentoday Pizza Oven Allergy

My daughter has severe allergies namely Pea protein, lentils, most legumes including peanuts, and eggs. She carries chlorphenamine, prednisolone, and two EpiPens. She also takes loratadine when required for seasonal allergies to pollens. She can eat pizza baked in a regular oven both shop bought and home made. In Sicily on holiday I discovered she seems to have an allergy I didn’t know about connected to a pizza made in a proper pizza oven. My instinct and suspicion is that it is the blackness on the bottom of a pizza made in this way. So possibly an allergy to charcoal? My other ideas were pollen from any wood used if wood was used or simply cross contamination. It was a mild allergic reaction and only required chlorphenamine. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this or could help narrow down what the actual cause of this is?

2024.05.19 12:31 Specialist_Concert_7 G2A’s most notorious scammer

Hello, today I am here to talk about one name many of you have heard and that is “Grandmisterseller”.
This clown is one of G2A’s most notorious scammer, he will sell you fake links, expired keys and banned accounts.
He has more than 3300 negative reviews all stating the same, and I quote directly “Link provided by the seller is a scam, domain is not even in use and there is not reply from the seller”. What baffles me the most is that G2A does NOTHING, so I decided to do something myself.
The scammer’s real name is Jonathan Fielding, he is one and only owner of Jonathan Fielding LTD. He lives in 40 Ryenland Way, Kingsnorth, Ashford, England TN25 7FU.
His company is actually in proposal to strike off and their address is W8A Knoll Business Centre, 325-327 Old Shoreham Road, England, Hove, BN3 7GS.
By no means I’m advocating for any violent acts and I just paste here this PUBLIC INFORMATION both gotten from G2A’s website in “seller information” and from the website “youcontrol.com” which has England’s companies information available to the public.
Thank you very much.

2024.05.19 12:30 lIllINo-Emphasis What is the "Supabase way" of testing applications?

I have a background in Ruby on Rails. In Rails, your project is setup with a development database and a test database. You can create migrations, write some logic to write to some new tables created in the migrations, and then write some unit tests that run directly against the test database.
This means there's no need for mocking calls to the database since the code that actually creates records is running - and we're asserting against real records that are created in the test database. The test database is then cleared down after the tests suite is finished, resetting it so that the next test suite runs against a clean slate.
What is the "Supabase way" of testing in this manner? I've had a quick look round and I can see many people are mocking their calls to the database via the Supabase client, e.g, mocking their select queries to return data that they assume should be in the database.
If I wanted to test that running some code in my Next.js application using the Supabase client was actually creating records in the database what would my options be for this? I can't just mock the call to the client as that wouldn't be testing anything other than the correct functions are being called ...
I'm really new to Supabase (and Postgres) so I might be thinking about this completely wrong, but it seems like being able to verify that records are certainly being created in our test suite is a good approach to take.
I'm aware of PGTap for testing at the database level (which I admittedly still need to properly research) but I'm looking for information on how I can verify that my Next.js applications calls to Supabase is in fact persisting data in the database through a test suite.

2024.05.19 12:29 WeaknessKey6313 All comes falling down

My partner and I are being forced to move out by August 1st. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have very little time to find a new place. In the worst case scenario, my partner has a place to stay with family, but I currently have no options lined up. I had been working in a gig capacity due to some health issues, and this event has forced me to go into overdrive after being unemployed for about a 6 year gap.
While I don't want to dwell on the details, this situation has left me feeling desperate. Public transportation is limited in my area, and without a car (which I can't afford to insure), my options are further restricted.
My current plan is to aggressively apply for remote work positions. Ideally, the job would allow me to make enough to afford rent in NY within the next 90 days. However, I recognize this might be a challenge.
There's a potential safety net – a friend who recently moved to Texas is trying to sell his house in the San Antonio area. He might allow me to stay there temporarily while the house sells. The appeal is the walkable environment and decent public transportation. But there's a big fear: if I relocate, will I ever make it back to NY?
My partner can stay with family, so at least there's that.
Right now, I'm overwhelmed with fear and uncertainty. Every passing day feels like the pressure is building
All of this, and my partner told me she wants a separation so we can work on ourselves
I'll be homeless, alone for the first time after being in a 15 year relationship, with no money, no friends or family to call on . I can't afford to get to Texas with the 600 dollars I have to my name
At this point I'm just trying to find the most painless way to do it

2024.05.19 12:29 Affectionate-Tip1745 RoyalWriter Review: My Personal Experience

RoyalWriter Review: My Personal Experience
Brief overview:
Quick turnaround time, double checking for plagiarism and generated content, a 24/7 support team available through numerous communication channels, free unlimited revisions, a host of fresh service reviews and PayPal payment seemed to be the most appealing features of this writing service. Most users stated in their reviews that the platform is legit and can be trusted. The pricing here is adequate, starting at £10.83 per page. The turnaround is fast and timely, which is ideal for students short on time.
Pros:
✅ Quick turnaround — minimum deadline is 3 hours
✅ Very reasonable prices
✅ Plagiarism and AI-generated content check by QA team
✅ Feedback on the website is regularly updated
✅ Links to additional resources with reviews are available
✅ 24/7 support
✅ Free unlimited revisions
✅ You can pay with PayPal
Cons:
❌You cannot call your writer at the phone
My experience:
During the initial scroll through RoyalWriter, I noticed tonnes of fresh reviews, which made it crystal clear that this website is actively used by students and covers various types of papers, from assignments to research papers and other types of work.
https://preview.redd.it/odmmdg4p0d1d1.png?width=2880&format=png&auto=webp&s=38014ee4334b6edbffe695db422ef36dbabcb8e3
I also noticed that the website contains a lot of useful information regarding the services offered, and their spectrum is rather broad (e.g. they even offer help with programming tasks). This was especially important for me because I needed assistance with a complex Business Assignment with calculations and some other websites couldn't find relevant experts for the task, which made my deadline even more looming. Here, everything was explained in detail and even visualised for clarity.
Just check this out:
https://preview.redd.it/1otidear0d1d1.png?width=1434&format=png&auto=webp&s=be064b939cec53eef74deb390eedac43a2ae2dcb
The other feature that caught my eye was an individual approach to dissertation writing. I could'nt even imagine that a service can provide a personal manager to oversee all the dissertation writing stages and deadlines. This sounds like a real deal. Maybe I'll try it in three years when I'm asssigned one. Haha =)
https://preview.redd.it/n3fb9iss0d1d1.png?width=1335&format=png&auto=webp&s=04120412fed5d594b9898258a17701512e8a4441
And damn, YES — they are one of a few services that accept PayPal. This payment gateway is a serious one, and if PayPal partners with this website, then it's 100% trustworthy.
Another important point that made me choose this website in anonymity. Here, they not only promise that all communications are confidential from when you place an order until you get the completed paper back, but they deliver on their promises. When you send a direct message to the writer, they only see your user id, and you also see their id. No real names available, and asking for real names is prohibited by the website's policies. Cool, isn't it?
Btw, you can't call the writer at the phone for this very reason. However, you can chat through live chat, which is also okay. Of course, this may not be super convenient because sometimes it's easier to explain details over the phone, but I personally respect this firm for their focus on anonymity.
The last point for this firm was that they don't lie on their website. They directly state that all photos used on the website are stock photos, not real ones, used only for aesthetic appeal.
The result:
I received my assignment a few hours before the deadline, which turned out to be a great advantage. When I opened the file, I was shocked in a good way! Structure, formatting, correct grammar and punctuation were all there. The assignment was done professionally and contained UK spelling throughout. I even had to make a few mistakes here and there for my prof to believe it was my own work. It also passed numerous checks with contentdetector ai and zerogpt, and I was praised by the prof =)
What about you, Redditors? Has anyone used this website for essays and research papers? Have some coming my way next week and would like to understand if the quality will be the same. Please share your feedback only if you've tried the service. Not interested in alternatives.
Thanks in advance!

2024.05.19 12:26 LooseCharacter6731 "There's things I want to say but I won't"

We (F31/M30) broke up two weeks ago. I caught him flirting, or liking a flirtatious message from a woman on instagram. This was after we'd just spoken a day ago and I'd asked him if he'd found someone new, if he'd lost interest, because for the past two weeks he'd just seemed less interested. He said he had doubts about us working out (long distance), that maybe we're just prolonging the inevitable. He'd never expressed such doubts before.
He gave a roundabout answer to my questions, that began with "I wouldn't say so". "Have you met someone new to talk to?" "I wouldn't say so", instead of a "no(, of course not)". Either way, I believed him, we agreed that we'd still like to meet, and then the very next day came across the photo with the flirty message, which he had liked back.
At this point I should've realised that I no longer trusted him, and should've ended it there on my own terms. Or at the very least asked him directly, told him what I saw was making me feel jealous and insecure. But instead I messaged her and asked if there was something between them. She never replied to me, just made her profile private. I assume she told him. I messaged him that I can't do this anymore, that I don't trust him and it's making me behave in an insane way. He made his profile private, too.
A day after that we talked. I apologised. He had a very lukewarm reply, which started with "There's things I want to say, but I won't". That he takes blame for my mental state, but it shouldn't have come to this and at this point it's best we end things where they are. We only said a couple paragraphs each, it wasn't aggressive, but not exactly friendly either. Just, distant, from his side. Neither of us blocked the other. We just stopped talking.
Now I'm wondering what it is that he didn't say. It's possible that he just wanted to call me names for contacting that other woman, for embarrassing him, but held back. I really don't know what it is.

Namely, 30 minutes before the market opens at HTX! Let's gather a huge amount of branches together and pay tribute to the great and wise sloth!
I believe the $5 mark is a good sum for everyone to invest. But everyone should only invest as much as they can. Surely, we also have wealthy and experienced sloth disciples among us who can lend a helping hand with a few more branches. 💸🧨
This way, we create hype at the start, generate green candles, and investors at HTX will jump on board, giving our rocket the boost to fly to the moon!
Let's go!

As someone who frequently uses skeet mobil chokes, I've recently come across the Iver Johnson choke tube for 20-gauge shotguns. This choke tube comes with a sleek, modern design that perfectly suits my needs.
The Mobil choke style threads on this choke tube make it quick and easy to attach to my shotgun. This feature allows for easy installation and removal without any hassle. The extended flush design works seamlessly with my shotgun, providing a snug fit and enhanced performance. I am quite impressed with the 20-gauge gauge, which is perfect for my skeet shooting needs.
While I've had a great experience with this Iver Johnson choke tube, I must admit that it can be a bit tough to remove sometimes. However, the trade-off for the secure fit is worth it in my opinion. If you're looking for a high-performance choke tube for your 20-gauge shotgun, you can't go wrong with this Iver Johnson Skeet mobil choke.

Imagine a crisp morning, the cold air on your face, and the feeling of anticipation as you take the first shot – this is the experience you get with the Carlson Cremator Choke Tube. As someone who loves testing high-quality hunting gear, I was eager to try this new addition to my arsenal. I installed the tube wrench-free and smooth, the promise of a perfect shot becoming more palpable.
The first thing I noticed was the precision-machined, heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel; it felt solid in my hands, giving me confidence in its durability. The. 725 diameter tube offered a more dense pattern, and the Triple Shot Technology made every shot count. However, I also noticed the reduction of flyers, which was a pleasant surprise.
Several times during the hunt, I found myself wishing for a little more range, but the 25% longer parallel section helped me to create tighter patterns and get those birds that others had missed. Although the product didn't come with a wrench, the wrench-less installation and quick removal was a game-changer for those on the move.
Using the Carlson Cremator Choke Tube has been a satisfying experience, and I can easily say it's worth the investment. With its precise machining and high-quality materials, it has become a reliable companion in my hunting adventures.

The Primos Jellyhead TSS Mobile. 410 choke tube has been a game-changer in my turkey hunting adventures. At first, I was skeptical about the hype surrounding the TSS load, but once I tried it out, I couldn't believe the difference it made in my hunting success.
The super-tight and evenly spread pattern of the TSS Jelly Head allowed me to land shots that I could have only dreamed of before. Installing and removing the choke tubes without any tools was a breeze, which made my life as a hunter a lot easier. I truly appreciate that the TSS choke tubes cater specifically to the TSS load, making my turkey hunting experience even more enjoyable.
Despite the incredible results I've seen, there is one aspect of the TSS Jelly Head that I think could use improvement. The extended length, while convenient, tends to snag on branches and other foliage more often than the flush-mounted ones. However, this inconvenience is outweighed by the benefits of the TSS load and the incredible accuracy that the Jelly Head provides.
Overall, the Primos TSS Jelly Head Choke Tubes are a must-have for any serious turkey hunter. Their accuracy and ease of use make them a worthy addition to any hunting arsenal.

When I first heard about the V-Twin Manufacturing Choke Tube Assembly, I knew I had to give it a try. I'm always on the lookout for ways to enhance my Stoeger Condor shotgun's performance, and this seemed like just the ticket.
The installation process was a breeze, and I was impressed with how seamlessly it fit into my gun. The quality was top-notch, and it definitely met or even exceeded the OEM standards. I must say, the difference in the gun's performance was palpable. The gun felt smoother, and the shots were tighter and more controlled.
However, one downside that I noticed was that it made the gun a bit louder than it used to be. But all things considered, the benefits definitely outweighed the noise. Overall, I highly recommend this product for any Stoeger Condor user looking to bump up their gun's performance.

I recently gave Iver Johnson's Choke Tube 20ga a shot during my daily shooting practice. I was initially drawn to its sleek, extended stainless steel design and the improved cylinder mobil choke. It worked wonders on my Stoeger Condor.
The choke tube was incredibly easy to install, and I appreciated the MOBIL thread pattern that ensured a tight, secure fit. Not only did it offer a reliable performance, but it also allowed for great versatility, perfect for adjusting my shot pattern to fit different targets.
However, one downside I encountered was the choke tube's tendency to get quite hot, especially during extended shooting sessions. It might be worth considering a heat-resistant material for future designs. Overall, Iver Johnson's Choke Tube 20ga proved to be a game-changer for my Stoeger Condor, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their shooting experience.

🔗High-Quality Turkey Hunting Choke Tube

https://preview.redd.it/xk8a0nmz0d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=90561418a98ee0763af748e1d8b1b8f29cb2327a
As a seasoned hunter, I've had my fair share of experiences with shotgun chokes. When I heard about the Primos Jelly Head Rem Choke, I was intrigued by its promising features. I decided to give it a try and see if it could improve the shot pattern and range of my trusty shotgun.
First things first, installation was a breeze. The choke tube easily screwed onto my shotgun, and it fit snugly without any issue. I was ready to hit the range and give it a test run.
At the range, I was immediately impressed by the performance of the Jelly Head Rem Choke. The shot pattern was significantly denser and tighter compared to my previous choke. I could confidently say that the pattern density had improved by up to 20%. This meant that I could confidently aim at turkeys and hit them with a higher degree of accuracy – a game-changer for any hunter.
Another great feature was the reduction in recoil. Shooting this choke felt much more comfortable as the energy from the shot was better absorbed by my shotgun, protecting my shoulder from the harsh impacts. This not only made my hunting experience more enjoyable but also allowed me to shoot more efficiently and with better control.
However, the Jelly Head Rem Choke did have its drawbacks. While the choke tube provided excellent results with Hevi-Shot, Copper Plated Lead, or Regular Lead, I noticed some issues when shooting with steel shot. The pattern became loose and dispersed, which made me hesitant to use it for geese hunting. This could be a downside for some hunters, but it didn't bother me since I primarily use it for turkey hunting.
In conclusion, the Primos Jelly Head Rem Choke is a top-notch choice for any turkey hunter looking to improve their shot pattern and efficiency throughout the hunting season. With its impressive performance and ease of installation, I highly recommend this choke tube for any hunter looking to level up their gear.

🔗17-4 Heat Treated Stainless Steel Browning Invector Plus Choke Tubes for Skeet Hunting

For a while now, I've been using the Carlsons 14412 Browning Extended Choke Tube Set. Honestly, the first time I took it out, I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the stainless steel construction. However, a few rounds later, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the durability of the material held up pretty well, especially when I was cleaning after a hunting session—no pit marks to be seen.
One particularly impressive feature was the choke's versatility. With it, I could use various types of ammo, from lead to steel—just like the instructions specified. But one thing that I found a bit confusing was the sizing. It took me a couple of times trying out different ammo sizes to get the knack of it, but once I had it figured out, it worked smoothly.
However, there were a couple of snags as well. For one thing, I wish they had put those laser-marked notch designs on the front lip. It just made it harder for me to figure which one I needed, especially since each choke tube is identical to the next. Secondly, I really missed the convenience of the plastic storage tube and wrench that typically comes with the Browning chokes—I ended up having to buy those separately. It's the little extra touches like those that really make a product stand out.
All in all, the Carlsons14412 Browning Extended Choke Tube Set offers some cool features, and it's performed pretty well for me so far. In terms of quality, I'll give it a 4 out of 5 and highly recommend it to other Browning Invector Plus users. Just keep those missing pieces in mind, or prepare to make a few extra purchases.

I've had the pleasure of using Carlsons Delta Waterfowl 12GA 2 Pk choke tubes, and let me tell you, they've made quite a difference in my waterfowl shooting experience. Handcrafted with 1704 stainless steel, these choke tubes exude a sense of durability and reliability that I've come to appreciate.
One of the standout features is the 25 percent longer parallel section in the choke, which ensures more consistent patterns, making my shots more accurate and accurate. The knurled end also makes removing these choke tubes a breeze.
While using them, I noticed the steel shot constraint and size were laser marked on both the end and body, making it a breeze for quick reference. However, I would caution shooters to adhere to the recommended steel shot size and speed to avoid any potential damage to the choke tubes.
Overall, these Carlsons Delta Waterfowl choke tubes have been a game-changer for my waterfowl hunting expeditions. Their quality and performance are hard to beat, and I highly recommend them to fellow hunters seeking a more effective and precise shooting experience.

🔗Carlson Dead Coyote Choke: Versatile and High-Performance Filters

As I delve into the world of filters and chokes, my eyes fell upon the Hammond 158M Filter Choke, an intriguing and compact filter solution. Being a curious tinkerer, I decided to give this 158M a whirl.
The first thing I noticed was the 5" long leads that sprouted from it, reminding me of a caterpillar. It was a refreshing and unexpected feature. These leads added versatility and made connecting distant sources a piece of cake.
The chime of 262 ohm impedance output resonated within my lab, as this filter helped maintain a stable output voltage. It was like having an unseen hand that kept my experiment running at just the right current.
However, this unseen hand seemed to have a mind of its own. I noticed that the filter would exhibit less inductance at slightly higher currents and more inductance at lower ones. This erratic behavior was a bit of a headache, but it gave me an opportunity to fine-tune my experiments.
Weighing in at just 1.228 lbs, the Hammond 158M Filter Choke was an efficient little powerhouse, delivering a current resistance of 262 ohms, inductance of 10H, and a voltage capacity of 400V. It was like having an army of filters, all in one place.
Despite the occasional inductance funk, the Hammond 158M Filter Choke proved to be an invaluable tool in my quest for precision and stability. Its open bracket channel mount design and tolerance of 15% on both inductance and resistance made it a flexible and reliable choice for my lab sessions.

WIP - And as promised...
As threatened, I'm writing my next novel on a typewriter. An awfully long time ago, this is how I wrote my short stories, and since writing The Abyss Calls My Name, nostalgia has pulled my back into the fold.
I've just finished up the second chapter in a story that is promising to be longer and more ambitious than TACMN, and I'm aiming to have the manuscript ready over the next month.
For any of the technophiles out there, I've been moving between a Facit TP2 that I recently renovated and a much newer Brother Deluxe 762tr (my original machine). I will be using OCR for transfer to digital, and I think I'll be self publishing again, so you can expect to find it on KU once it's complete.
Anyway, that's my little spiel, and I'll be updating as I go if anyone is interested in plunging down the rabbit hole with me again.

2024.05.19 12:23 Opening-Fix9568 I think my girlfriend is cheating on me

Sorry if the redaction isnt the best im not a native english speaker.
I (20M) have a long distance relationship with my girlfriend (19F) and everything was okay until January of 2024 when I visited my state of origin, normally when im about to leave to the state where i go to college i throw a little party with my close friends and my girlfriend. The day I threw my party my gf told me she was going to be late bc she was going to one of her girlfriends apartment but that she would come to my party, by the time she arrived to my house she was acting strange and I asked her if everything was fine, I asked her who brought her and she told me that one of her male friends brought her to my house, I have never met the guy but she had told me about him on various occasions and i thought he was cool, when he dropped her off at my house i wanted to thank him but she wouldnt let me go to see him, I obviously thought it was strange but i let it go. A week goes by and she asked me to do some stuff for her on her computer, I went ahead and helped her but something felt wrong, Im not proud of it but I read through her messages, I searches his name and his conversation popped on, the messages were something like "you think he notices?" and another message with one her girlfriends said "your little theater is gonna crash and burn" and she said “i dont think so, (me) is leaving next week so the chance that everything falls appart isnt high”.
I really love her and I dont want to break up with her but i cant sleep to this day when i think about that, i have dreams of them mocking me and they way she talked about me with her friend was a little rude, i dont know what to do, when i confronted her about it she told me that she went to smoke grass with him and she just didnt want me to find out about that, i dont believe that because she knows i love smoking, hell i wouldve liked him better if she had told me the truth bc i love smoking, now whenever she goes out she sends me her location and tells me who she is with, i dont like that, it makes me feel toxic but she really doesnt want to break up, the way im feeling is not the way to live, and i dont want to break up over the phone, what should i do?

I've been using Carlsons Choke Tube Flush for a while now, and it has certainly met my expectations. The full choke construction and the. 590 diameter proved to be quite reliable when using steel shot. It's been a game-changer for me, especially when going for long-range shots. The best part is that it's compatible with quite a few shotguns, including Stoeger Condor Tube.
Of course, there are always a few things I wish were different. For one, the steel and stainless design could use a little more durability. I've had some issues with it wearing out over time. Also, while the full choke does a good job with a wide range of shots, I've found that it could use a little more precision for the really tight shots.
But overall, despite those minor issues, I've had a great experience using Carlsons Choke Tube Flush in my daily life. It's a solid addition to any hunting arsenal, especially if you're looking for a reliable full choke that works well with steel shot.

I've been using the Carlsons Universal Choke Wrench for several months now and it has become an essential part of my gun maintenance routine. The wrench is incredibly simple but really gets the job done. Its tough design ensures that it can handle the heaviest of choke tubes.
One aspect of the wrench that I particularly love is the added keychain. It's a simple feature, but it means that the wrench is always with me whenever I need it. There's just something reassuring about knowing that I always have my choke wrench handy, just in case.
Another feature that stands out is its heat-treated stainless steel construction. It's solid and durable which gives me confidence that this wrench will last for years to come. And the benefit of not bending is very promising.
However, there is one area where the wrench falls short in my opinion. Despite its universal claim, it doesn't seem to fit all choke tube sizes. It works great for most 12, 20, and 16 gauge chokes, but for some reason it didn't fit all 10 and 28 gauge choke tubes in my setup.
In conclusion, the Carlsons Universal Choke Wrench is a great tool to have in your hunting gear. It's simple, tough, and with the added convenience of a keychain, it's always close at hand when you need it. Despite the few minor quibbles, I'd highly recommend this choke wrench to any gun enthusiast.

I recently tried out the Carlson Speed Wrench, and it truly lives up to its name. In just a few seconds, I was able to remove and insert 20-gauge choke tubes with relative ease. The wrench is small and lightweight, perfect for carrying in my hunting bag.
One feature that stood out to me was the rubber-wrapped portion of the wrench, which allows for a secure grip on the choke tube without causing damage. This made the wrench a breeze to use, and I didn't have to worry about scratching up my gun.
However, there's a slight downside to the wrench's design. When removing choke tubes, I noticed that they weren't always as secure as I would have liked. This might be due to the fact that there are no teeth on the wrench to hold onto the tube. But overall, I'm still quite satisfied with the Carlson Speed Wrench, especially considering that it's much faster than any traditional wrench.
