I remember a game on GGG where you managed little bugs of some sort. You would train some to fight, and they would sometimes get sick. They also would turn grey when they got old. I think the babies were green maybe? And the adults were yellow.. it was a top-down view game, with a grey background. I remember playing it when i was 12 or so, so it's at least 9 years old.

I can't be the only one here who thinks it would be awesome if they added it as an official gamemode into the game.
Each server would have roughly 200 players, with 50 players on each team (Potentially more if the server can handle that amount of players). It would feature Rust's first ever "matchmaking" feature. You'd be able to press a button and be assigned to a server with good ping and put into a team with the lowest amount of players to keep things balanced (Just random matchmaking, no SBMM at all). The fun part about this is that you can leave the server at any time, and someone else will hopefully join to take your place. This means that for the first time in Rust's history, you can play casually, and actually get some sleep!
I think this gamemode would be great for a more casual/solo player who doesn't enjoy the base game. If you lose a kit, you can just grab another one and go out to farm some more equipment for your faction. Need some sleep? Just leave and someone will take your place.
You can't choose what team you join unless you are invited, however. You can invite your friends to join your kingdom if there is space, and even send a "tag out" invite, where as soon as it is accepted, you leave the server and swap places.
When you join a faction/server, you can keep a track of how things are going at any time. Maybe you could even get notifications when big events happen, such as a faction-wide message or the destruction of a faction. This would work really well with the rust app.
The map would be large and randomly generated as usual. However, there will always be an Outpost in the centre of the map. Maybe a stable on the left-middle and right middle of the map, as well as fishing villages at the top North, south, east and west of the map. This would admittedly be tough to balance, but higher tier structures would be near the middle, with lower ones on the outskirts.
The server would be divided into 4 factions. The Red faction, the Blue faction, the Yellow faction and the Green faction. Each faction would have a big castle or fort that they'd spawn with. On the second floor, would be a massive, special tool cupboard with a ton of health that cannot be healed. When this cupboard is destroyed, the faction is wiped out.
There would be a large area around this castle where only members of that faction can build. This would be the "Kingdom". Structures built in this radius would be supported by the main cupboard and at a 50% resource discount. This would encourage players to build a proper kingdom with plenty of farms, defences etc in this radius to protect the main base and support the kingdom.
Players of a faction can be vote-kicked. Anyone can call a votekick to get rid of a known troll/griefer. The majority of online players in a faction have to agree for the vote to pass. You can also call votes on other things and they can be customised.
You can still build normally outside of the radius, but the drawback is a 50% increase in tool cupboard costs. This means you can still build structures to store resources, defend tactical locations etc, but big bases will be much more difficult to maintain, to encourage players to instead build around the kingdom and make it harder to control locations.
Structures built by players of a faction are tinted/painted in the corresponding colour so they can be easily identified.
There are so many incredible things in this game. Trains, cargo ship raid, oil rig raids, air crates etc, but they're inaccessible for the vast majority of people interested in this game. Most solos are lucky to get a T2 workbench. Having a pre-established mega-clan to join is perfect for allowing players to experience everything this game has to offer.
I think a gamemode like this would be amazing for all the people who've been wanting to get into Rust, but are put off by how unfair the game is to smaller groups/new players. The stories and events on these servers could be legendary.

Hello, any thoughts on Dr. Ellie Phillips 5-step method for oral hygiene? I saw her videos on YouTube and would like to know if there are any cons with this method?

1. Use Xylitol mints (Zellie’s)
2. Rinse with Closys
3. Brush with Crest Cavity Protection Toothpaste
4. Rinse with Listerine with alcohol (although I’ve heard/read than non/alcohol is better in case of dry mouth and than in general the pH of Listerine is low making it very acidic)
5. Rinse with ACT (I’ve heard that the pH of ACT is low making it acidic for the enamel.

Any thoughts on this system?

Background: 19F, 5’6, 120lbs
I live in the Southern US, no trips out of the country, I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hypermobility) Family history of gallbladder disease (mom, grandma, and great grandma all had to have their gallbladders removed) Currently waiting on appointment with gastroenterologist- end of August was the soonest they could get me in I ALWAYS take medicine after eating to prevent issues, I space my medicines out, and do not take any within 2 hours of going to bed/laying down.
Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, severe stomach cramping, inability to eat a normal amount of food in one sitting, diarrhea, mucus in stool, bloating, weight loss, reflux, hot flashes
Meds: Birth control pill, 30mg Adderall ER, 20mg paroxetine, daily antihistamine (usually xyzal or allegra), albuteral inhaler x2 daily, fluticasone inhaler 2x daily, stool softener as needed, ondansetron as needed.
As long as I can remember, I’ve had sudden and unexplained bouts of nausea, stomach pain, cramping, vomiting, constipation, and diarrhea. I did end up with C. diff at 15 after being on clindamycin soon after being on doxycycline. I was treated for it and did see a gastroenterologist who also gave me omeprazole for my reflux but I discontinued it after I found it was making my reflux worse.
After I recovered from C. Diff, I went back to my normal symptoms of constipation and early fullness. Over the past 2 years I’d say it has gotten a lot worse. I’ve worked with my GP to wean off my medications one at a time to see if that changed my symptoms, but there was no improvement. I drink a lot of water every day, I try to eat as well as I can with fruits, veggies, protein, fiber, etc. I am not able to eat much in one sitting. As an example, I was starving and when I got my food I was only able to eat 1/4 of a normal sized waffle. I tend to snack throughout the day instead of having fewer large meals.
I have terrible, debilitating stomach pain and cramps after I eat which soon devolves into nausea. I carry Emetrol and extra strength ginger candies with me everywhere I go for when it “flares up” which has kind of become a running joke with my friends. I tried taking pepto bismol for a while but it didn’t seem to help much.
The nausea comes on fast and most of the time I do not actually throw up, but sometimes I do. I really try not to take the Zofran or stool softener unless I have to. If I’ve been trying to poop for 2+ days with no luck/I can tell that I’m not emptying my bowels, then I will. I’ve thrown up in a store’s trash can (while on a date!) that my date had to grab from behind an employee counter, I’ve thrown up in a large cup while driving, etc.
I do feel hungry and I can tell when my stomach is empty, but I feel like my intestines are full at the same time if that makes any sense. I get pretty bloated in my lower abdomen and sometimes have lots of gas when I try to poop. It seems to come and go, and sometimes I can go a few days without feeling too sick and other times I can’t eat anything other than plain applesauce. I was raised being told that probiotics can only help your tummy, so I did try to start eating/drinking pre/probiotics. I think it made my stomach hurt more so I no longer go out of my way for probiotics.

I get progressively more bloated the longer it’s been since I’ve pooped, which makes sense. Sometimes I am able to poop but it’s more like a rabbit poop and I can tell that I haven’t gotten it all out. I would say that I have 2-3 normal sized poops a week, with 2-3 small, round poops. The normal poops have a much more normal shape/texture (at least for me) but I’m beginning to question this.
I thought it was 100% normal to have mucus in your stool until I mentioned it to my friend and she raised some concerns. This prompted me to ask my GP to refer me to gastro. (warning for graphic descriptions)
When I wipe, there are globs of thick mucus on the toilet paper. Most of the time it’s very sticky, yellow, or clear-ish. It’s translucent. The edges of my poop also appear to have the same mucus. I notice that there is a lot more of it if I’m having worse symptoms that day.
Lately, I have been losing weight. It probably has to do with not being able to eat as much, but it is concerning me. I’ve always weighed around 120LBs, and during a really bad episode, I dropped to 113 in the span of a few days. My family and friends have noticed the weight loss and say I do not look healthy. I’ve been trying really hard to put on more weight while keeping my symptoms at bay and as of right now I am at 115lbs. After one of my “normal” poops I lose about 3 pounds, but I am only counting my once a week weight checks to avoid that.
I was unable to pick up my birth control for about 2 weeks, and normally if I forget for even a day I will have intense period cramping and my period will start that day or the next. However, in that entire 2+ week span, I did not start. There was no period cramping, I was not ovulating, I am not pregnant, and there was no spotting or anything. I know hormones are fickle but I am concerned that I’m either not getting enough nutrients from the food that I am eating or that my weight loss has caused my body to decide it’s not worth it.
Do you have any advice for me going forward? Or any ideas as to what it could be? I am not trying to self-diagnose but I do wonder if there are any diets or remedies that someone would recommend in the meantime before I am able to see the gastroenterologist.

Hello, had craniectomy Astrocytoma type 2 removed June '23.
Have been on wait and watch and only now have had the opportunity to go back for radiation therapy. Starting in 2 weeks.
I've never had a seizure before or after the tumor but I've been having more pain discomfort and brain 'fog' lately so I know I'm not good.
The Dr has put me on Dexo and Keppra (Levertiracetam) prior to my radiology. Along with an antacid.
It is making my skin a bit oily (talked about that in another post) but to my mouth it's seems to be drying my lips out. I'm biting at the skin on my lips constantly and now it's also starting with the insides of my cheek as well. Just kind of this chewing and grinding of surface tissues that I either spit out or chew to nothing and swallow?
Is this happening to any one else?

Day 1: post op surgery . I have pain but similar to tonsillitis or strep. Able to swallow with moderate pain. Drinking alot of water and eating ice chips. I was hungry so I had soft scrambled eggs with mashed avocado. That was fine it took me 45 minutes to eat 1 egg and 1/2 a small Hass avocado. I took Tylenol and have an ice pack for my throat. I can talk (more of a whisper) but avoiding it to help decrease swelling. Tonight I will end my night with )l motrin , and 1 dose of Oxycotin mostly to help me sleep through the night. I will continue to drink water all night , use throat ice pack, and sleep with humidifer to help keep my throat moisture. Oh yeah and I will also take 1 table spoon of Honey onion garlic and ginger mixture to help soothing ( i did this daily althought its not added in other entries). At 2 AM I woke up I'm alot of pain I had to take more medication the meds I had took were wearing off. I did not sleep well through the night. Also felt like I could taste blood but when I spit nothing was coming up.. so im guessing it was just residual blood for the procedure... overall pain level 4/10 at night when meds wore off and I woke up 8/10.
Day 2 : Woke up 717 AM feeling super dry despite running a humdifier 24.7. Ice chips and a popsicle to help calm things down . I don't feel well but it could be lack of sleep. Anyways I am preparing to take mortin again. I am taking ibuprofen/motrin alternating every 4-6 hrs with Oxycotin every 4-6 hrs. WARNING set an alarm for more meds so there isn't a lapse when they wear off. OK so I tired drinking a chocolate protien shake before my meds it was too hard to swallow. I took meds and now I'm chewing gum and drinking ice cold water. Pain after meds kicked in is tolerable. Similar to a strep throat although my throat and lips appear to have swelling. I was able to get down 1/2 avocado and steamed chicken dumplings mashed up once meds kicked in. Continued ice water and Ice pack wrap around my neck to reduce swelling. Also took nausea meds . Attempted to nap but I could not. Now I'm eating some protient oatmeal. I went outside today walked my dog hung out in the sun . Did light house choirs vacuum and dishes. I did eat a few bites of the sushi roll but for some reason my stomach turned Maybe because I was eating raw fish and my stomach was messed up from the meds.. after 3 rolls I was feeling nausea so I stopped eating.
Day 3: I am in agony now. Woke up super inflamed unable to swallow or breathe properly. Very painful trying to get the liquid meds down. I took mortin with Oxycotin . I took oral prednisone to help with swelling. Popicle for instant relief. Once things calmed I ate oatmeal and ice chips. Ice chips r my savior. I have ice pack around my mouth. Able to eat the remaining three sushi rolls. Pain level is now manageable. ... DO NOT LAPSE PAIN meds before bed you will wake up in excruciating pain unable to swallow or breathe. Keep drinking water and ice chips best relief.
Day 4: Was not in as much pain as normal because I made sure I stayed on top of the meds. My throat did hurt a little bit more but I think i could fell the scab pealing off.. I woke up stomach upset I am starving & nauseas. My husband made me protien oatmeal very hard and painful to swallow. I had pedaltye today for the electrolytes. Eating a mashed banana it really uncomfortable to swallow. Later on I successfully eat rice noodle soup with chicken, a couple bites of chow mein, and 2 pieces of general toas chicken. Yes it was hard to eat like it hurts but I managed. I was so hungry I ate a small lemon ricotta crepe that was super soft and a small amount of mango sorbet. That was delicious... ice water for the rest of the night. Ice pack around my throat for the rest of the night. Pain was manageable but Def hurt when swallowing.
Day 5: woke up at 430 AM pain meds wearing off because I didn't take oxy as schedule . I woke up took Tylenol and motrin every 4-6, had a popsicle to calm down my throat because again the feeling of glass and burning were present. I took Miralax to help me with constipation. In the mean time I was eating mashed eggs and avocado it goes down okay it definitely hurts 8/10 when I eat but the key is to chew your food a millions times before swallowing and follow it up with ice chips. In the middle of eating I had to rush to the bathroom. The pain to release gas from my stomach was awful so bad I sat there for 40 minutes tryna not to strain my throat. Finally after 40 minutes I was able to release some stomach matter. It's beautiful outside so I'll probably be spending time out there .I can talk very quietly and slowly in intervals but I'm choosing not to talk much just want my throat to heal faster. So I drank 1 16 oz bottle of coconut water for electrolytes. Never finished my eggs I feel hott and sick probably from trying to do stuff around the house. I am going to take my Tylenol and 1/2 of a gummy edibles and lay down . Still not oxy- I'm waiting for night time as I only have 3 left and dr. Never called back for refill. Trying to eat oatmeal with banana and strawberry puree. The right side hurts alot the left not so much.. The pain is manageable but when trying to eat it hurts alot 8/10. Which sucks because I'm actually starving. I could not sleep at all last night I was in so much pain. I honestly think it was from laying down flat. So after another round of meds I proppped up 2 pillow and tryed to lay up on an angle. Woke up with pain at 730 but not as much pain I was in during that day.
Day 6: Today I didn't wake up in agony. There was pain 7/10 , but after taking motrin and wearing my ice Pack it's down to a 4/10. Im sitting up in bed eating ice chips. I would honestly like to clean a tad bit more if I can today. I only have 1 oxy left so I have to save for emergency pain. I taste blood but there is no blood in my spit must be the scabs falling off. Also I'm still slightly constipated but I am able to pass small bowel movements now. Was able to endure a deep spring cleaning today . Drinking 16 oz coconut water now still rotating mortin and ibuprofen every 3-4 hours. I can see a reduction in the pain except for when I eat. I eat soft foods and it hurts to swallow so mostly likely today will be broth with rice again. I don't feel sick and drained even though I haven't slept in almost a week. Today I will try to get bed at like midnight. The pain is only agonizing like when i try to lay down . I ate a few bites of Greek yogurt still uncomfortable but i took more meds and ill wait so i can eat the mac and cheese my husband bought me. Ok so by 800PM the pain came back and I wasn't home so didn't take my meds til 9pm again I feel miserable I'm in so much pain. Just took meds and last oxy now laying in bed ice pack and ice chips popsicle. Pain level swallowing 9/10. Woke up at 4 am in pain barley slept. I was up in pain most of the night.
Day 7: checked the back of my Throat it just appears white and red.... not sure what I am looking for .I definitely felt the scabs though and I've also tasted slight bleeding so I assume they are healing.. Anyways woke up with ice pack and popsicle can't. At this point mentally I'm starting to get drained. I'm hungry and tired. Bed for a while. Also my ears do hurt today but not too bad they ar bearable..husband called in a refill for Motrin and oxy. Once med kicked I'm I got down 1 scrambled egg and about 1/4 cup of mac and cheesIe. I mean yeah it hurt to swallow but was manageable 6/10 . Also drinking warm tea with honey is soothing. Ice water non stop and ice wrap. I am gonna take a oxy to help me sleep for a few . Couldn't s Nap :'(. Took another round of tylenol making myself a soup with chicken dumplings. Gonna eat and then relax in the bath tub for about an hour. I hope tomorrow things gets better for me. . The soup was over salted which resulted me in agonizing chronic burning pain . Got so bad i had to take an oxy prednisone and tylenol ... ice chips layed down.

Between now and than ill drink a warm cup of soothing tea and honey.
Day 9- I slept thru the night again . I did wake up every 4 hrs for meds. Today I managed to get alot of cleaning done + made a run to target because why not it's beautiful outside. This morning I managed to eat a scrambled egg although painful I got through it. Currently I am trying to eat my left over Chipotle that was so very painful to eat last night. I am finally eating it without excruciating pain but it does still hurt to swallow so im not really enjoying the food mostly just tryna get it down my pipes for fuel. I used my ice Pack this morning , ice chips all morning. Also just made myself a warm tea with honey to sooth my throat after eating this food. Seems like things are getting better. Eating is definitely not 100% as I have to eat very slowly, chew 1 million times and follow most bites up with water. I will stay definitely an improvement. I ate a whole side of mash potatoes. It took me like 1 hour and I hurt a little but I did it.
Day 10- woke up at 245AM in pain again, lapsed on my meds cuz sleeping just feels too dam good after not being able to sleep for a week. Also I know even though I have a dehumidifier my room is drying out my throat and that's why it hurting more. Set an alarm for 7 am woke up again in pain. I was one hour over due for meds. Up now sucking on ice chips with ice wrap on. I can Def feel the scabs hanging on by a thread esp the right side. At this point I'm getting annoyed because I just want to be over this pain threshold. I want to be able to get back to my normal routine cooking, cleaning , working out, being in less pain. There's Def improvement and the meds work almost instantly now once I take them. Feeling ok I went for a 3 5 mile walk today and layed out in the sun. Other than that I been in bed all day. Just tryna give my body proper rest. By 230pm I was able to eat eggs and pico de galo. It was mildly uncomfortable but nothing to crazy took me like 1 hour to eat but I did it. Throat is feeling better. Just finished a bowl of pho (beef noodle soup). It was delicious I got full fast and my throat does hurt a tad bit because I was swallowing pretty decent sizes of thinly sliced beef. Went down a little rough . Finishing off with ice cold water . I
Day 1: post op surgery . I have pain but similar to tonsillitis or strep. Able to swallow with moderate pain. Drinking alot of water and eating ice chips. I was hungry so I had soft scrambled eggs with mashed avocado. That was fine it took me 45 minutes to eat 1 egg and 1/2 a small Hass avocado. I took Tylenol and have an ice pack for my throat. I can talk (more of a whisper) but avoiding it to help decrease swelling. Tonight I will end my night with )l motrin , and 1 dose of Oxycotin mostly to help me sleep through the night. I will continue to drink water all night , use throat ice pack, and sleep with humidifer to help keep my throat moisture. Oh yeah and I will also take 1 table spoon of Honey onion garlic and ginger mixture to help soothing ( i did this daily althought its not added in other entries). At 2 AM I woke up I'm alot of pain I had to take more medication the meds I had took were wearing off. I did not sleep well through the night. Also felt like I could taste blood but when I spit nothing was coming up.. so im guessing it was just residual blood for the procedure... overall pain level 4/10 at night when meds wore off and I woke up 8/10.
Day 2 : Woke up 717 AM feeling super dry despite running a humdifier 24.7. Ice chips and a popsicle to help calm things down . I don't feel well but it could be lack of sleep. Anyways I am preparing to take mortin again. I am taking ibuprofen/motrin alternating every 4-6 hrs with Oxycotin every 4-6 hrs. WARNING set an alarm for more meds so there isn't a lapse when they wear off. OK so I tired drinking a chocolate protien shake before my meds it was too hard to swallow. I took meds and now I'm chewing gum and drinking ice cold water. Pain after meds kicked in is tolerable. Similar to a strep throat although my throat and lips appear to have swelling. I was able to get down 1/2 avocado and steamed chicken dumplings mashed up once meds kicked in. Continued ice water and Ice pack wrap around my neck to reduce swelling. Also took nausea meds . Attempted to nap but I could not. Now I'm eating some protient oatmeal. I went outside today walked my dog hung out in the sun . Did light house choirs vacuum and dishes. I did eat a few bites of the sushi roll but for some reason my stomach turned Maybe because I was eating raw fish and my stomach was messed up from the meds.. after 3 rolls I was feeling nausea so I stopped eating.
Day 3: I am in agony now. Woke up super inflamed unable to swallow or breathe properly. Very painful trying to get the liquid meds down. I took mortin with Oxycotin . I took oral prednisone to help with swelling. Popicle for instant relief. Once things calmed I ate oatmeal and ice chips. Ice chips r my savior. I have ice pack around my mouth. Able to eat the remaining three sushi rolls. Pain level is now manageable. ... DO NOT LAPSE PAIN meds before bed you will wake up in excruciating pain unable to swallow or breathe. Keep drinking water and ice chips best relief.
Day 4: Was not in as much pain as normal because I made sure I stayed on top of the meds. My throat did hurt a little bit more but I think i could fell the scab pealing off.. I woke up stomach upset I am starving & nauseas. My husband made me protien oatmeal very hard and painful to swallow. I had pedaltye today for the electrolytes. Eating a mashed banana it really uncomfortable to swallow. Later on I successfully eat rice noodle soup with chicken, a couple bites of chow mein, and 2 pieces of general toas chicken. Yes it was hard to eat like it hurts but I managed. I was so hungry I ate a small lemon ricotta crepe that was super soft and a small amount of mango sorbet. That was delicious... ice water for the rest of the night. Ice pack around my throat for the rest of the night. Pain was manageable but Def hurt when swallowing.
Day 5: woke up at 430 AM pain meds wearing off because I didn't take oxy as schedule . I woke up took Tylenol and motrin every 4-6, had a popsicle to calm down my throat because again the feeling of glass and burning were present. I took Miralax to help me with constipation. In the mean time I was eating mashed eggs and avocado it goes down okay it definitely hurts 8/10 when I eat but the key is to chew your food a millions times before swallowing and follow it up with ice chips. Day 11-14: slight-moderate pain during swallowing. Only taking motrin 2-3x day and 1 oxy at night . Sleeping fully through the night. Sleeping with a dehumidifier to reduce dry mouth. Still painful to yawn.... eating more but still sticking with easier things to eat. (No spicy or sharp edges). Scabs pretty much healed. Overall I am at the finish line now.
Tips: 1. Do not lapse on pain meds. Set alarm for every 4-6 hrs. Alternating motrin/ibuprofen. 2. Ice pack is a huge necessity . It helps woth swelling and gives relief. 3. Sleep with dehumidifier- waking up to a dry throat is very unpleasant 4. Popsicles, sorbet and ice chips constantly 5. Warm tea with honey daily

Here's my answers:
1. Glow Scrub by BFF Slime Bakery.

• Perlite+sand+clear glue.
• Looooove this! Scent is supposed to be vanilla and orange blossom (Love, Don't be Shy perfume), but it smells like a woody vanilla with a hint of floral? Crispy, sizzly, crunchy. Puffs up for satisfying crushing experience. Stretches and folds nicely. Sand seems to help with the sizzle. Slightly gritty feel.
• I got this slime two days ago! I only played with it for a minute today and then I will try not to touch it for a few days so I don't kill it.
• I am on a perlite slime kick! So, yes, there will be more.

I'm a sucker for neon, especially highlighter-bright yellow and this thing practically burned through my eyeballs. I'd buy just the topper (hint hint). Added to the sand, it reminds me of the look of yellow highlighter over a grainy black-and-white photo on newsprint paper (I did a lot of "edgy" collage art back in high school lol). The yellow glow is still there, just muted with the sand. neon sprinkles ass a little kick.
2. Huckleberry Pie by BFF Slime Bakery

• Perlite+sand+clear glue--same as Glow Scrub, I think.
• This is a little wetteless activated maybe than Glow Scrub, but otherwise pretty similar. Again, great ASMR and it feels great in my hands when I pull it and squish it. Lots of dry sizzles when stretched, and wet, poofs and crackles when squished. slightly sand-papery feel.
• Got this two days ago in the same order and also trying to restrain myself so I don't kill it!
• Smell is supposed to be huckleberry and vanilla and sugar cane. It does smell slightly of huckleberry (I have family and friends that do a lot of huckleberry foraging), in that it smells like a more saccharine blueberry. I'm not in love with the scent, but it's fine.
• Really glad I got both this and Glow Scrub because this texture is great!

I was on here a few days ago, complaining that sand dulls the ASMR effect of clear slimes (also, just makes for a rubbery texture ime) when u/slimespree suggested I try a perlite sand, specifically recommending this one from BFF.
3. Lemon Tart by Rodem

• DIY clay + snowfizz + clear topper to make a butter snow fizz
• Soft clay piece, as always. Very cute and fun to assemble. It is now a very fluffy, soft snow fizz (I'd say less obviously a butter slime). ASMR is very soft, mostly a whispering sizzle with I pull it. No bubble pops and no crackles from squeezing. It's not quite as soft and airy as other snow fizzes. I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about it.
• Scent is supposed to be lemon cookie but the scents were just all off on this Rodem order. This one smells like ginger and lemon tea. Not bad!
• Got this two days ago. Not too worried about killing it, since I'm so obsessed with the perlite slimes I got at the same time lol!

I'm really noticing snow fizzes can vary a lot. But, in general, the pillowy, fizzy texture is a win for me and the sizzles are relaxing, so I hope to get more.
4. Butterfly Shake by Rodem

• Perlite+bingsu+clear
• Peach scented, supposedly, and I get that but also maybe a flowery scent as well? It smells nice.
• This texture slapped me upside the head with how good it is. I loooooove a soft, fluffy bingsu, which I've mostly found via Korean slimers. This is just as fluffy, but slightly dryer and doesn't hold as much air, which is probably an effect of the perlite. It might toughen up a bit in a day or two and then it could make bubble pops. Right now, itstretches nicely. It sizzles, it whispers, it crinkles, it crackles, it makes soft crunches, it growls. It is very light to handle, but the perlite is a little gritty on the hands (it's a plus for me, actually).

Ordered this slime before my talk with u/slimespree just to try something different. Was not super into the aesthetic and not terribly interested in perlite slimes, but thought I should expand my horizons. This is now possibly my favorite slime!
5. Strawberry Fat Milk by Rodem

• thick and glossy.
• Strawberries and cream! Delicious!
• This is a softer, fluffier thick and glossy, but it still has nice resistance and makes juicy bubble pops. They aren;t the loudest pops, but they do make whistles sometimes if I fold and pull it quickly. No crackling small bubbles from inflation, but I think it's a good ASMR-handfeel balance. Still poppy like a typical tng, but also soft and squishy and cool feeling in the hands, not tacky at all.

Recorded August 23 1964 at the Hollywood Bowl. I have decided to split Hollywood Bowl’s tracklist by day it was actually recorded and yes it does make the sequencing terrible. I did try to mirror the original setlist as closely as possible for that day, but both the The Paul McCartney Project and Beatles Bible list She Loves You as the 4th song, but the song features a clip saying “the next song will unfortunately be the last” making me think a different show show I put it second to last. The rest of the tracks on Hollywood Bowl are from the 1965 tour.

Spore 2
Cell Stage
Start: Begin as a single cell and absorb other cells smaller or of equal size.
you can absorb cells smaller than you.
if you come across another cell similar in size then you both must fight for control of who will absorb who.
can be absorbed by larger cells.
Once you get to a certain size then you will evolve a mouth and a tail and must choose whether your creature will be carnivorous or herbivorous, from here the cell stage will play similar to how it was in the original spore.
Aquatic Stage
This stage will have you playing as a Sea creature similar to the creature stage but you evolve to be a proficient Apex of the Sea, following the currents and finding your hunting/feeding grounds to survive. but when you are ready to evolve you can choose two different paths, either to evolve to move onto land or evolve to remain in the sea.
Creature Stage
Like in the original Spore, you will move onto land, find new parts to evolve hunt/eat plants to survive. move with your herd of creatures across the continent and make new friends or meet new enemies. and avoid or kill already evolving sentient beings.
Aquatic/Tribal Stage
Both Tribal stages of the sea and land will play similarly except one will obviously be in the Water.
You will begin by roaming the Continent/Ocean as a nomadic tribe and using your chieftain to choose a place to settle, gathering food and resources on the way. once you have chosen a place to settle you will begin your tribal journey.
Gathering food and basic resources building your village up to become the strongest.
Other Villages will soon appear and you will have several options. you can send a tribe member to introduce yourself and either ally or destroy them. or remain unknown and wait for them to find you.
you can set up alliances or trade with other villages you are friendly with and other villages will make their own alliances and trade.
The trading system will consist of 2 main items, building materials for constructing buildings in your village. and food to survive. you can exchange different types of food for each other.. i.e. fruit for fish or exchange materials for food and vice versa.
if you have an alliance with another tribe you can offer to merge your villages into one tribe and you will gain control of their village as well as your own. increasing your power and control in the region although this process is very expensive for this stage of the game.
Once you have achieved 80% dominance over the ocean or continent you will progress to the civilization stage.
Aquatic/Civilization Stage
Both will play Similarly to each other, with the exception of that if you started the Civilization stage in the Ocean then you will have to fight one or two other Civilizations that have also emerged in the Ocean and then progress to the Surface to Unify the planet.
Unlike in the original spore cities will be 2-3x the size.
unlike the tribal stage, your city will be placed where your tribal village was settled. However, if you own more than one tribal village then you can choose where to start the civilization stage.
The rest of the villages can be uplifted into cities if you have the money and materials to do so. assuming another upcoming nation doesn't beat you to it. other smaller cities can exist within the same region, however they will be smaller.
the same mechanics in the civilization stage will be present from the tribal stage. in trading and alliances.
In this stage, Food, Energy/Power and building materials are still a requirement. thus your cities will Automatically gather food and materials in their region and produce their own power, New buildings will be added to accommodate the need for materials/energy and food generation.
if a city does not have enough of a single resource to support its population then you can set up trade routes to send x amount of an item to another city you own.
If you have started the Civilization stage in the Ocean then you will have to also attack and unify the surface. The CIvilization stage will progress until you have unified the Planet.
Space Stage
This stage will be slow but rewarding with patience.
The Galaxy will have 5 Tiers of Planets and with each tier the planet will get progressively bigger, and thus will be able to have more cities on those planets as a result, thus producing more spice faster than the rest. with T1 planets being the most common and T5 being the most rare. however, T1 planets only have a single tier to terraform whereas a T5 planet will have a 5 terraform score to be able to build more cities.
All Spice production will be slow but the cost will be higher than in vanilla spore.
terraforming will now be a very expensive mid-game endeavor, so finding already terraformed planets early on will be your best bet.
The red, Green, and Blue zones for planets now play a more significant role in terraforming. if a planet is in a Blue zone then the planet is too cold, while it is possible to terraform the planet buildings will be required to keep the atmosphere dense and to keep the planet warm. and the opposite is the same for planets in the Red zone. they are too how and must decrease the atmosphere and cool the planet off and buildings are required to keep these changes to keep the planet's T-score stable.
The higher the planet's T-score or, the Bigger the planet is, then the harder the planet will be to terraform and stabilize and keep the current T-score.
Building Colonies will be difficult as other mechanics will be introduced. you can still set up colonies the same way as in the original spore but the cost of buying them will be expensive.
Colonies now require food, Power, and Resources to build and maintain themselves.
Colonies start with a minimum amount of starting Food, Construction materials, and Energy.
you can achieve this in a couple of ways. the first being the Easiest but most costly, would be to send resources from a system you already own, i.e. your homeworld. and ship resources, food, and power to the colony until it can support itself.
the other is spending a few extra sporebucks building key infrastructure in your colony to support itself so the city can harvest resources and produce food and power from the region it's in. This process takes longer and your citizens will be unhappy for a time, but will be significantly cheaper for you in the long run.
Other space civilizations will grow on their own, expand their empire, terraform planets make trade routes and alliances, and even start wars.
a new trade system will be introduced in the space stage where you can trade Food, Energy also called power. and Construction materials. that you can trade with other civilizations for either sporebucks or a barter.. i.e. trading food for energy. and of course the standard spice trading as well.
like in the original spore, there are different tiers of spice. however, in this new system, all the different tiers of spice will have varying qualities from unrefined to refined and Exquisite all with different prices when trading.
The Grox will not expand past the center of the galaxy, however, they will attack civilizations they deem too powerful and will cut them down to size or destroy them completely.
if you meet Steve without allying with the Grox they will declare war on you, if you ally the Grox and meet Steve at the center of the galaxy they will demand the staff of life. if you turn it over to them they will give you their own staff of un life which will reduce a planet to t0 killing all life but will allow you to settle cities as if the planet was max terra score. and build on it as such. if you decline to hand over the staff then they declare war on you.
If you have allied with the Grox and they deem you powerful enough they will give you a mission to go and kill Steve. if you kill Steve (an almost impossible fight) then the Grox will reward you with the staff of Un-Life. and their systems now act like your own.
just like in the original game, however, allying the Grox will cause the entire galaxy to declare war on you.
you can lose the systems you have claimed through war or trade, including your homeworld. if you lose all of your star systems you will have the opportunity to reclaim your homeworld but if you fail then the space stage restarts.

I've been a bit of a coffee nerd and decided I wanted to become a tea nerd too. I've had good tea here and there but not as much, and definitely not tried all the stuff that's out there so this was a really fun experiment. I don't really have enough experience or a refined enough palette to give specific tasting notes but here are my general impressions in approximate order of favorite to least favorite (although I liked almost all of these so it's not to say any are "bad").
Charcoal Roasted Gan De Village TGY: Really liked this one. Has that sort of robust mineral oolong thing with a hint of smokiness from the charcoal. A lot of interesting layers, and gave a lot of the feeling I've appreciated from coffee despite tasting not like coffee.
2022 YS Cozy Ripe Pu-erh: Tied in first place for my favorites out of here. Mellow and earthy and then develops some really nice sweetness later on when brewed gong fu. Nice syrupy mouthfeel too. Cozy is a pretty apt description.
2024 YS Green Mark Dragon Ripe Raw Pu-erh: I think this is not part of the sampler, and was just a "freebie" in the order, but I'm counting it. Mostly tastes like a ripe pu-erh with a little extra bite from the raw mixed in, so a little more layered flavor.
2019 Jinggu Yang Ta Camellia Taliensis White Tea cake: Really good, has a nice mix of sweetness and brightness, and white tea always seems to have a really thick oily mouthfeel that I enjoy a lot.
YS Black Gold Bi Luo Chun 2024: Flavor was really good, smooth for a black tea and didn't get much astringency. Nutty and chocolatey. Had an interesting aroma coming off it, not unpleasant but kind of reminded me of hay.
Wu Yi Shan Classic Rou Gui Rock Oolong: Has a good flavor but it's definitely heavy on the roast and that kind of makes it a little one-note. An enjoyable one note but it gets a little old by the end. Leaves smelled a little sour sitting wet but none of that made it into the brewed tea. Could see it being nice on a cold morning out camping or something, I think it'd fit that environment well, similarly to a dark roast coffee.
Fancy Tie Guan Yin of Anxi - Autumn 2023: Exactly what I remember from cheaper Iron Goddess that I've had just fresher and more alive tasting. Point being, it's what you'd expect. I'll admit I western brewed it because I wanted to compare it to other TGY that I only made western style without knowing better, and my one gripe is it never felt like it got very strong. Might do better gong fu so I'll try that some time.
2020 YS Impression Raw Pu-erh tea cake: With this being a fresh raw it kind of reminded me of just a green tea but with a little more malt and tannin-forward flavor which I assume is from it being made from var. assamica. Has some bright citrusy notes and some bitterness. Kind of reminds me of the tea version of an IPA.
Yunnan Green Spring Snail Bi Luo Chun - Spring 2024: What can I say, I'm not a green tea person apparently. Was really smooth and not bitter and the description of it as nutty is pretty accurate. The hay/silage kind of smell off the dry leaves and even the brew was stronger on this than on the Black Gold. Again not a bad smell but not what I was expecting. Probably one of the best greens I've had but I just like darker stuff.
All in all I had a lot of fun trying all of these. I have a sampler coming from Teabox to try next since out of grocery store teas the Irish Breakfast has always been my favorite so looking forward to that. Apparently roasted oolongs and ripe pu-erhs are my favorite varieties out of what I've tried thus far, so I'll probably try to find some more of those to experiment with. Suggestions welcome!

I was tested for Sjogrens Anti SSA which was negative but the doctor then tested me for Anti-SSA 52kd.
I have shortness of breath, burning in my spine, dry eyes and mouth, fatigue and hair loss.
My chest X-ray and CT scan were normal.
My doctor has decided to transfer me to a specialist group at a research center because all of my blood work comes back negative except that one marker.
I guess I'm just curious as to what the odds are that this is interstitial lung disease being that my x-rays and CT are normal and I'm only positive for the Anti SSA 52kd on the ILD panel.
For reference I have never smoked.

3. Q: My Pi is behaving strangely/crashing/freezing, giving low voltage warnings, ethernet/wifi stops working, USB devices don't behave correctly, what do I do? A: 99.999% of the time it's either a bad SD card or power problems. Use a USB power meter or measure the 5V on the GPIO pins with a multimeter while the Pi is busy (such as playing h265/x265 video) and/or get a new SD card 1 2 3. If the voltage is less than 5V your power supply and/or cabling is not adequate. When your Pi is doing lots of work it will draw more power. Even if your power supply claims to provide sufficient amperage, it may be mislabeled or the cable you're using to connect the power supply to the Pi may have too much resistance. You can use a USB load tester to test your power supply and cable. Some power supplies require negotiation to provide more than 500mA, which the Pi does not do. If you're plugging in USB devices try using a powered USB hub with its own power supply and plug your devices into the hub and plug the hub into the Pi.

5. Q: I just did a fresh install with the latest Raspberry Pi OS and I keep getting errors when trying to ssh in, what could be wrong? A: There are only 4 things that could be the problem:
   1. The ssh daemon isn't running
   2. You're trying to ssh to the wrong host
   3. You're specifying the wrong username
   4. You're typing in the wrong password
6. Q: I'm trying to install packages with pip but I keep getting error: externally-managed-environment A: This is not a problem unique to the Raspberry Pi. The best practice is to use a Python venv, however if you're sure you know what you're doing there are two alternatives documented in this stack overflow answer:
   • --break-system-packages
   • sudo rm a specific file as detailed in the stack overflow answer
7. Q: The only way to troubleshoot my problem is using a multimeter but I don't have one. What can I do? A: Get a basic multimeter, they are not expensive.

10. Q: What model of Raspberry Pi do I need so I can watch YouTube in a browser? A: No model of Raspberry Pi is capable of watching YouTube smoothly through a web browser, you need to use VLC.
11. Q: I want to know how to do a thing, not have a blog/tutorial/video/teachebook explain how to do a thing. Can someone explain to me how to do that thing? A: Uh... What?
12. Q: Is it possible to use a single Raspberry Pi to do multiple things? Can a Raspberry Pi run Pi-hole and something else at the same time? A: YES. Pi-hole uses almost no resources. You can run Pi-hole at the same time on a Pi running Minecraft which is one of the biggest resource hogs. The Pi is capable of multitasking and can run more than one program and service at the same time. (Also known as "workload consolidation" by Intel people.) You're not going to damage your Pi by running too many things at once, so try running all your programs before worrying about needing more processing power or multiple Pis.
13. Q: Why is transferring things to from disks/SSDs/LAN/internet so slow? A: If you have a Pi 4 or 5 with SSD, please check this post on the Pi forums. Otherwise it's a networking problem and/or disk & filesystem problem, please go to HomeNetworking or LinuxQuestions.
14. Q: I only have one outlet and I need to plug in several devices, what do I do? A: They make things called power strips aka multi-tap extensions.
15. Q: The red and green LEDs are on/off/blinking or the screen is just black or blank or saying no signal, what do I do? A: Start here
16. Q: I'm trying to run x86 software on my Raspberry Pi but it doesn't work, how do I fix it? A: Get an x86 computer. A Raspberry Pi is ARM based, not x86.
17. Q: How can I run a script at boot/cron or why isn't the script I'm trying to run at boot/cron working? A: Try one of these numerous solutions
18. Q: Can I use this screen that came from ____ ? A: No
19. Q: I run my Pi headless and there's a problem with my Pi and the best way to diagnose it or fix it is to plug in a monitor & keyboard, what do I do? A: Plug in a monitor & keyboard.
20. Q: My Pi seems to be causing interference preventing the WiFi/Bluetooth from working A. Using USB 3 cables that are not properly shielded can cause interference and the Pi 4 can also cause interference when HDMI is used at high resolutions.
21. Q: I'm trying to use the built-in composite video output that is available on the Pi 2/3/4 headphone jack, do I need a special cable? A. Make sure your cable is wired correctly and you are using the correct RCA plug. Composite video cables for mp3 players will not work, the common ground goes to the wrong pin. Camcorder cables will often work, but red and yellow will be swapped on the Raspberry Pi.
22. Q: I'm running my Pi with no monitor connected, how can I use VNC? A: First, do you really need a remote GUI? Try using ssh instead. If you're sure you want to access the GUI remotely then ssh in, type vncserver -depth 24 -geometry 1920x1080 and see what port it prints such as :1, :2, etc. Now connect your client to that.
23. Q: I want to do something that has been well documented and there are numerous tutorials showing how to do it on Linux. How can I do it on a Raspberry Pi? A: A Raspberry Pi is a full computer running Linux and doesn't use special stripped down embedded microcontroller versions of standard Linux software. Follow one of the tutorials for doing it on Linux. Also see question #1.
24. Q: I want to do something that has been well documented and there are numerous tutorials showing how to do it with an Arduino. How can I do it on a Raspberry Pi Pico? A: Follow one of the tutorials for doing it on Arduino, a Pico can be used with the Arduino IDE.
25. Q: I'm trying to do something with Bluetooth and it's not working, how do I fix it? A: It's well established that Bluetooth and Linux don't get along, this problem is not unique to the Raspberry Pi.
