2024.05.19 12:30 Simpleladycs Erythema Nodosum as side effect

Unfortunately after 1 year of Pembro immunotherapy, my first scans after treatment showed cancer in lymph nodes. I had surgery on March 21 and I started Mekinist and Tafinlar meds (BRAF+) on May 13. First few days were ok, just some fatigue, but then the fever, vicious body shakes, chills and sweats started on May 16. Extra Strength Tylenol seems to be helping with the fevers, which I am taking every 4 hours or so. The part that I am having trouble dealing with is the large, angry, hot and very painful red welts that seem to have started appearing all my body, including the bottoms of my feet. They are so painful, it feels as though I have bruises all over my body. It hurts to walk and to sit on anything, sitting on a pillow or my bed is more tolerable.
I started noticing a few red bumps on my legs on May 16 but I didn’t really think anything of it. My skin has been really sensitive, so I thought it was just irritated. But then on May 17 I noticed more of them and I called my hospital cancer care clinic and spoke with a nurse. She said she has never heard of this side effect and to continue taking the meds and monitor over the weekend. It’s a long weekend here in Ontario, so I will call again on Tuesday.
Searching the internet, I found this may be Erythema Nodosum. Has anyone experienced this while taking Mekinist and Tafinlar? If so, can you share your experience?

2024.05.19 12:29 worldwonderer16 Thyroid Newbie - symptoms, blood results & FNA

Hi all! I’m a newbie to the world of thyroid issues. I’ve been reading a lot of posts to get more of an understanding - but I’m really hoping to share my journey to see if anyone else has been in a similar boat (excuse the essay)
I got covid in November last year for the second time. Everything was fine, then at the very end of the week of it I got a feeling of pressure in my chest that lasted for 24 hours. I had an ecg done and cardiac markers tested and nothing.
This feeling would come and go. At the time I had my thyroid tested after a previous high TSH over 1.5 years prior - but it came back normal.
The last 6 months has been a series of blood tests & questioning whether I just have anxiety. I got tested for celiac which one marker came back slightly positive, had an endoscopy - it was negative. The dr told me my results could be from inflammation in my body but didn’t bother to keep insisting on finding where it’s coming from.
Fast forward to the last few weeks I’ve since seen a new dr who’s amazing. And found some new interesting results: • TSH: 12.6 (3x the range) • TPO antibodies: positive - came back as 84 • ANA serology: 1:640 Titre (was 1:320 a few months ago but has increased). • moderately suspicious nodule on my thyroid - just had an FNA doctor explained it was calcified.
Now I’m going to a rheumatologist in 5 weeks to figure out whether I have an autoimmune disease causing my autoimmune thyroiditis, and also trying to determine whether it’s just hashimotos.
These are my current symptoms - •dull ache in my left side under rib cage when I lie down at night • increased acne •hair thinning around hairline and dry hair • chest pain on left side almost under armpit on side of chest. • fatigue - can sleep 8 hours and feel unrested/struggling to open my eyes in the morning. • joint aches and body aches especially when I’m inactive all day. • frequent brain fog • previous insomnia - now better thanks to magnesium • itchy dry skin • intensified TMJ jaw pain, had Botox but it’s still there
There’s been other stuff but those are the most obvious. I’ve been reading loads of posts like I said and it’s been great to see the community that exists online providing support. Just wanted to share my journey so far.

2024.05.19 12:27 spookyisthename99 MA Experience and tips!

First want to say this sub has really helped me get through this and I appreciate reading everyone’s stories. A true community!
On May 12 I found out I was pregnant after being 3 days late. It was the first time this has ever happened to me, I’m 29 and honestly thought I couldn’t conceive. I used Flo to track my regular periods and I was no where near my ovulation dates but anyway here we are.
I opted for a MA as I wanted things to be done as soon as possible. I was 5 weeks and 6 days by the time I took my first Mifepristone pill. I took it at 12:30 on Friday afternoon and had absolutely no symptoms from it. I had a pretty big breakfast beforehand which might have helped.
Now - day 2 - I was very frightful of. I generally get terrible period cramps every month, typically on the floor vomiting and diarrhoea with intense pain so I was so nervous about proceeding with the misoprotol. What typically helps my period cramps is watching what I eat the day before I get my period so I was very keen to try and do this before taking my 4 doses. All of the rest of Friday I ate very plain beige food - toast, banana, eggs, chicken. Nothing with spice, no artificial sugars (this I find is major for me in terms of making things painful) and no greasy/fried food. On the day of the misoprotol I started off by eating a slice of bread and a banana (I find the potassium in the banana helpful for period pain). I then proceeded to take 800mg of ibuprofen at 12:00, 500mg of paracetamol at 12:25 and then the 4 misoprotols vaginally at 12:30.
I went straight to my couch with a maxi pad and heating pad and laid down to not let anything fall out. The nerves were really high at this point worried I would feel the type of pain I sometimes get during a bad time of the month.
At 1:30 I began to feel some slight cramping but nothing more than a 2/10. At 15:00 I had my first bit of blood. It poured out quite rushed but nothing too painful.
From here anytime I went the bathroom I would have probably a cup of blood pour out of me. It didn’t feel like a period at all but really just juice coming out (sorry for the tmi). I am usually a light flow so the amount of blood was very shocking.
At 16:56 I experienced what felt like the worst of the cramps. I would rate it at most a 6/10 and it was only for 5 minutes and I would say I’ve had way worse periods than this. Heck, the period before I got pregnant had me on the ground in agony crying so this really felt like a walk in the park. I think this was the moment things really passed as after this my cramps went right to a 2/10 in pain. The relief was shocking and nice.
For the rest of the night I just ate minimal (toast and some grapes as I started to feel a bit peckish). I stayed away from coffee though I was tired, anything with caffeine can trigger my cramps worse. I took 400mg more of ibuprofen at 20:30 then went to bed at 01:30. Slept fine and woke up with my pad not nearly full.
Like I said, I’ve had periods worse than this and it was very surprising to me but today I still feel like I’m going through the works. It did honestly feel like a period and I do feel like it worked. I’m relieved and happy to feel more like myself and I hope this eases anyone’s mind before they have their MA journey. All I would say is I do think eating a plain diet before and during helped me not feel sick and make the cramps worse, so give it a try!
Hopefully I won’t ever have to come back on this sub but I appreciate all of those who have given their experience! Best of luck to everyone going through this - you can do it!

2024.05.19 12:25 SamRMorris Blurb - feedback please

Hello
I self-pubbed my debut book just over a month ago and I have to accept it is going disastrously. No reviews. No purchases. 26 free downloads. I have already tried a few pricing strategies and yesterday I decided to go into KU. I have no idea how long it takes to get page reads in KU but none so far.
I obviously think the book is good but either other people don't or I am just truly awful at marketing. So I thought I need to improve that. I have already tried three different versions of blurb and I am not very happy with this but its probably factual.
"Alex Paine wasn't great at life and he generally tried to escape it. unfortunately those were normally only temporary reprieves. This time though he has gone and escaped to another dimension. The question is has he jumped from the not really non stick anymore frying pan into the fire?
Alex Through the G-Whole Glass takes you to a world of radical transparency and explores what that might be like. It challenges some of our society's core beliefs about the world of literature, politics, technology, power and in many areas. It tackles mental health causes and treatment with a critical eye. It looks at possible ways to approach and use technology. It discusses who should control data and who should be in control in general. It also hopefully does this in a funny and relatable way. So if you fancy that strap yourself in and hit the buy button"
I would like to know does this work at all for anyone.

2024.05.19 12:23 nmo64 Stuck in purgatory

I posted a few days ago about how I was sure I was having my 3rd MC. I went for a scan and was bleeding so heavily it was honestly alarming to me. When the Dr took the probe out it was covered in bright red blood and so awful to see I felt like I would throw up.
I was expecting and prepared for the worst, but we were shocked when she said there was a normal heartbeat but the embryo was measuring behind by 7 days which she said was within normal limits. She got her supervisor in to check the scan and honestly the atmosphere in the room was so horrible I felt that there was a lot of unsaid things. They kept saying things to each other quietly but afterwards they just said everything is looking good but we are very concerned about the heaviness of this bleeding, and we can’t find a cause, we need to be very guarded. I just felt like they were not telling me the whole truth.
I have another scan at the end of next week. I’ve been started on progesterone and the bleeding is less but still alarming. I really hate the feeling of carrying this embryo and not knowing if they will live or die.
I am also so angry that people get pregnant and have a baby and never experience the pain, fear and anguish those of us who have had MC feel. I’m so angry that my innocence and trust in my body has been stripped away. I’m so angry that anyone has to experience this. I’m so angry at myself for looking at my friends who get pregnant and just go to their scan and get happy news and feeling so much jealousy that I feel ashamed.
I am feeling honestly like I want to scream into a void. I hate wishing time away but I just want to get to the next scan.

As someone who frequently uses skeet mobil chokes, I've recently come across the Iver Johnson choke tube for 20-gauge shotguns. This choke tube comes with a sleek, modern design that perfectly suits my needs.
The Mobil choke style threads on this choke tube make it quick and easy to attach to my shotgun. This feature allows for easy installation and removal without any hassle. The extended flush design works seamlessly with my shotgun, providing a snug fit and enhanced performance. I am quite impressed with the 20-gauge gauge, which is perfect for my skeet shooting needs.
While I've had a great experience with this Iver Johnson choke tube, I must admit that it can be a bit tough to remove sometimes. However, the trade-off for the secure fit is worth it in my opinion. If you're looking for a high-performance choke tube for your 20-gauge shotgun, you can't go wrong with this Iver Johnson Skeet mobil choke.

🔗High-Quality Stoeger Condor Choke Tube Assembly for Better Performance

When I first heard about the V-Twin Manufacturing Choke Tube Assembly, I knew I had to give it a try. I'm always on the lookout for ways to enhance my Stoeger Condor shotgun's performance, and this seemed like just the ticket.
The installation process was a breeze, and I was impressed with how seamlessly it fit into my gun. The quality was top-notch, and it definitely met or even exceeded the OEM standards. I must say, the difference in the gun's performance was palpable. The gun felt smoother, and the shots were tighter and more controlled.
However, one downside that I noticed was that it made the gun a bit louder than it used to be. But all things considered, the benefits definitely outweighed the noise. Overall, I highly recommend this product for any Stoeger Condor user looking to bump up their gun's performance.

🔗Stoeger Condor Full Choke Tube with .590 Diameter

https://preview.redd.it/sjet6whe0d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be8662750c635b258bac736e5bb5cf1cac2ca05a
I've been using Carlsons Choke Tube Flush for a while now, and it has certainly met my expectations. The full choke construction and the. 590 diameter proved to be quite reliable when using steel shot. It's been a game-changer for me, especially when going for long-range shots. The best part is that it's compatible with quite a few shotguns, including Stoeger Condor Tube.
Of course, there are always a few things I wish were different. For one, the steel and stainless design could use a little more durability. I've had some issues with it wearing out over time. Also, while the full choke does a good job with a wide range of shots, I've found that it could use a little more precision for the really tight shots.
But overall, despite those minor issues, I've had a great experience using Carlsons Choke Tube Flush in my daily life. It's a solid addition to any hunting arsenal, especially if you're looking for a reliable full choke that works well with steel shot.

🔗Iver Johnson 20ga. Extended Stainless Steel Choke Tube for Flush or Extended Thread Pattern

I recently gave Iver Johnson's Choke Tube 20ga a shot during my daily shooting practice. I was initially drawn to its sleek, extended stainless steel design and the improved cylinder mobil choke. It worked wonders on my Stoeger Condor.
The choke tube was incredibly easy to install, and I appreciated the MOBIL thread pattern that ensured a tight, secure fit. Not only did it offer a reliable performance, but it also allowed for great versatility, perfect for adjusting my shot pattern to fit different targets.
However, one downside I encountered was the choke tube's tendency to get quite hot, especially during extended shooting sessions. It might be worth considering a heat-resistant material for future designs. Overall, Iver Johnson's Choke Tube 20ga proved to be a game-changer for my Stoeger Condor, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their shooting experience.

🔗Easy-To-Use Stuck Choke Tube Removal Tool

I've been using the Carlsons Universal Choke Wrench for several months now and it has become an essential part of my gun maintenance routine. The wrench is incredibly simple but really gets the job done. Its tough design ensures that it can handle the heaviest of choke tubes.
One aspect of the wrench that I particularly love is the added keychain. It's a simple feature, but it means that the wrench is always with me whenever I need it. There's just something reassuring about knowing that I always have my choke wrench handy, just in case.
Another feature that stands out is its heat-treated stainless steel construction. It's solid and durable which gives me confidence that this wrench will last for years to come. And the benefit of not bending is very promising.
However, there is one area where the wrench falls short in my opinion. Despite its universal claim, it doesn't seem to fit all choke tube sizes. It works great for most 12, 20, and 16 gauge chokes, but for some reason it didn't fit all 10 and 28 gauge choke tubes in my setup.
In conclusion, the Carlsons Universal Choke Wrench is a great tool to have in your hunting gear. It's simple, tough, and with the added convenience of a keychain, it's always close at hand when you need it. Despite the few minor quibbles, I'd highly recommend this choke wrench to any gun enthusiast.

🔗Lightning Fast Choke Wrench for Easy Choke Tube Removal

I recently tried out the Carlson Speed Wrench, and it truly lives up to its name. In just a few seconds, I was able to remove and insert 20-gauge choke tubes with relative ease. The wrench is small and lightweight, perfect for carrying in my hunting bag.
One feature that stood out to me was the rubber-wrapped portion of the wrench, which allows for a secure grip on the choke tube without causing damage. This made the wrench a breeze to use, and I didn't have to worry about scratching up my gun.
However, there's a slight downside to the wrench's design. When removing choke tubes, I noticed that they weren't always as secure as I would have liked. This might be due to the fact that there are no teeth on the wrench to hold onto the tube. But overall, I'm still quite satisfied with the Carlson Speed Wrench, especially considering that it's much faster than any traditional wrench.

🔗17-4 Heat Treated Stainless Steel Browning Invector Plus Choke Tubes for Skeet Hunting

https://preview.redd.it/ghz6kq2g0d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=71fa15cbef41a341f853e3e1bf050cf175ee4cdd
For a while now, I've been using the Carlsons 14412 Browning Extended Choke Tube Set. Honestly, the first time I took it out, I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the stainless steel construction. However, a few rounds later, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the durability of the material held up pretty well, especially when I was cleaning after a hunting session—no pit marks to be seen.
One particularly impressive feature was the choke's versatility. With it, I could use various types of ammo, from lead to steel—just like the instructions specified. But one thing that I found a bit confusing was the sizing. It took me a couple of times trying out different ammo sizes to get the knack of it, but once I had it figured out, it worked smoothly.
However, there were a couple of snags as well. For one thing, I wish they had put those laser-marked notch designs on the front lip. It just made it harder for me to figure which one I needed, especially since each choke tube is identical to the next. Secondly, I really missed the convenience of the plastic storage tube and wrench that typically comes with the Browning chokes—I ended up having to buy those separately. It's the little extra touches like those that really make a product stand out.
All in all, the Carlsons14412 Browning Extended Choke Tube Set offers some cool features, and it's performed pretty well for me so far. In terms of quality, I'll give it a 4 out of 5 and highly recommend it to other Browning Invector Plus users. Just keep those missing pieces in mind, or prepare to make a few extra purchases.

I've had the pleasure of using Carlsons Delta Waterfowl 12GA 2 Pk choke tubes, and let me tell you, they've made quite a difference in my waterfowl shooting experience. Handcrafted with 1704 stainless steel, these choke tubes exude a sense of durability and reliability that I've come to appreciate.
One of the standout features is the 25 percent longer parallel section in the choke, which ensures more consistent patterns, making my shots more accurate and accurate. The knurled end also makes removing these choke tubes a breeze.
While using them, I noticed the steel shot constraint and size were laser marked on both the end and body, making it a breeze for quick reference. However, I would caution shooters to adhere to the recommended steel shot size and speed to avoid any potential damage to the choke tubes.
Overall, these Carlsons Delta Waterfowl choke tubes have been a game-changer for my waterfowl hunting expeditions. Their quality and performance are hard to beat, and I highly recommend them to fellow hunters seeking a more effective and precise shooting experience.

2024.05.19 12:20 After_Target8541 A king needs his guard.

Conjuration (100) Transmutation (80) Name: "A king and his guard, cripple and his cane"
The user has the ability to conjure an army of guards, consisting of hollow armor sets with gold plating on the joints and face plating, with a Marshadow-looking core at the head. Each guard has varying usefulness, and the user acts as the Grand Marshal, a Four-Star General.
The Four-Star General is an 8-foot-tall man with long, flowing flame-like hair and black armor. He has the ability to transmute his own body into metal objects, such as chains, blades, and lances.
The One-Star Brigadier is of average height, with the same flame-like hair, and additionally has flames coming out of his joints. He can transmute his Nen into black flames with a maximum range of 10 meters.
The Major is an average-height female with flame-like hair, but no special abilities.
The user wears a crown with four stars attached, and each star can be used to summon the corresponding number of guards. A Major is worth half a star. At full capacity, this ability uses half of the user's Nen. For example, if the user has 1000 Nen and summons a General, they will be left with 500 points at their disposal. The Nen is returned when the guard is dispelled.the amount of nen can be increased at the start of each month.example,if I have 1000 and have the usage set at 75% for that month I will be left with 250 points if it is used at full capacity for the whole month
The user can also transmute their Nen into gold, steel, and black fire. The guards can recall their detached limbs. This ability requires the user to burn something equal in weight to 100 grams, or burn their own body intentionally.

2024.05.19 12:20 Both-Description-956 Transition from carnivore to AB

Hello!
About 2 weeks ago i've transitioned from carnivore (6+ months) to AB. I now eat around 170g's of carbs a day, but i still notice that i don't feel completely normal after eating carbs.
Is this normal, how long should i expect to transition to take? I don't want to make conclusions to early but i also don't want to wait too long as i still have some symptoms left over from autoimmune issues.
The reason i still decided to change to ab is because the carnivore diet simply didn't help anymore. My joint pain came back (probably because of electrolyte issues) and my energy was low. Now that i'm on AB i do notice more energy, but also more like my body is 'removing toxins'? Not sure how realistic that is.

2024.05.19 12:20 Calm-Respond-7564 I hate this life, just looking for some support from you fuckas on this early early miserable morning

Alcohol is a trap!!!!! I keep wanting to taper but I keep fucking it up because I have to drink to feel normal and I try my best to do it slow and steady. Then once I’m feeling normal it’s such a relief that I speed it up a bit and even tho I very rarely black out or stumble these days, I’m in that loop of not really sleeping and hitting 3AM with eyes wide open, fear, racing heart, slight shakiness and some nausea. My body is generally sore. I have made the mistake of telling people who care about me that my alcoholism is a lot more severe than they realized but instead of using that to stay accountable, I just buckle down on the sneak drinking. I tell myself that “tomorrow” I’ll sweat and tremble it the fuck out but there’s always something that I need to do.
I’m completely exhausted. Alcoholics push through so much pain and discomfort, it’s dumb, wtf!! it really is a disease isn’t it?
Someone relate and talk to me in the comments so I don’t collapse with loneliness and panic!!! Chairs degenerates!!!!!

🔗Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket - Black

https://preview.redd.it/79aq073vzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=88dc636ef07e48879b53811e61808dd2d2626db8
Recently, I purchased the Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket, and I'm quite satisfied with its performance. As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, it's important for me to have a jacket that's not only durable but also well-insulated and wind-resistant. This active jacket did not disappoint.
The first thing that caught my attention when I received the jacket was the 3M Thinsulate insulation, which provides excellent warmth without feeling too bulky. I'm particularly fond of the hood design, featuring a drawcord and reflective Carhartt patch. The hood not only keeps me protected from rain and snow but also ensures visibility during nighttime activities.
However, one area where the jacket could be improved is its zipper quality. While the plastic zipper works fine, I'm more accustomed to metal zippers, which are generally more reliable and durable. In addition, the jacket can be somewhat noisy when walking due to the swishy fabric sound - not ideal for hunting purposes.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I believe the Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable and well-insulated winter coat. Its attractive design, variety of pockets, and comfortable fit make it a versatile option for both recreational activities and daily life. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and believe many others will be too.

🔗Carhartt Washed Duck Insulated Coverall: Tough, Warm, and Versatile Workwear

These Carhartt Washed Duck Insulated Coveralls provided a comfortable and practical solution for my work needs. The quilted nylon lining and midweight polyester insulation kept me warm on chilly days without causing me to overheat.
The heavyweight cotton duck fabric was durable and had a broken-in feel, well-suited for outdoor construction tasks. The ankle-to-waist zippers and full front zipper made it easy to put on and take off, while the nine pockets and reinforced kick panels offered ample storage and protection.
The ribbed storm cuffs, comfortflex waistband, bi-swing back, and pleated elbows ensured a comfortable fit and easy movement. Although it was a bit difficult to get to the pants' pockets without reaching through, overall, I found these coveralls to be of great quality, durability, and warmth.

🔗Carhartt Flame-Resistant Twill Coveralls with Comfort Flex Waistband - Belt Loops

https://preview.redd.it/3hh0d7vvzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ea1213388ced50fce1453b82347c288f6fcb618
As someone who's tried these Carhartt Flame-Resistant Loose Fit Twill coveralls out in the field, I must say, they truly shine when it comes to safety and comfort. These coveralls, equipped with flame-resistant twill, offer the perfect balance of style and function for those working with arcs and flames.
One of the standout features is the two-way zip front, featuring a storm flap and high-temperature resistant FR zipper tape. It effortlessly opens up to reveal a comfortable loose fit, accentuated by a stretchy comfort flex waistband. The adjustable waistband not only ensures a snug fit but also allows for ease of movement with the back yoke featuring pleats.
The added element of safety is taken into consideration with the chest pockets, which are both secure and convenient. They come with flaps and a hook & loop closure that keeps valuable items safe without compromising on accessibility. And don't forget about the UL classification to NFPA 2112 – it's a testament to the coveralls' commitment to keeping its wearers safe from potential hazards.
While there are a few minor issues, such as the occasional need for adjusting sizes based on inseam lengths, overall, these Carhartt coveralls have been a reliable addition to my work wardrobe. From their practical design to their emphasis on safety, they have proven to be a worthy investment in the long run.

🔗Superior Insulated Coveralls for Extreme Weather

As a reviewer who recently tried the Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Coveralls, I was impressed by the level of warmth they provide. Working in chilly conditions, I found the 3M Thinsulate insulation to be a game-changer, keeping me toasty even on the coldest days. The wind resistance and waterproofing also proved effective, as I dealt with harsh gusts and rain.
However, one downside was the fit; I had to size up to get the extra room I needed for layering underneath. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would recommend this coverall to anyone working in extreme cold conditions and seeking reliable protection.

🔗Carhartt Men's Yukon Insulated Biberall: Thinsulate Insulation and Reflective Tape for Cold Weather Comfort

https://preview.redd.it/bg24fhjwzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f5f3862f20f801711829627fac09084d35729c7f
Windy days used to mean a chilly workplace, but now, thanks to the Carhartt Yukon Extremes, I'm snug and cozy even when the wind is howling. The Thinsulate insulation was a game-changer. One day, I was working in the freezing cold, and I was amazed that I didn't feel the chill. The water-repellent construction has also been my savior. One day, I accidentally splash some water during my work, and to my delight, my bib didn't soak it up. My visibility was also boosted by the reflective taping, making my outdoor activities a lot safer.
The Wind Fighter technology did an excellent job keeping the wind at bay, even in the harshest conditions. However, I felt that the Rain Defender wasn't living up to its name. On one occasion, I encountered some heavy rain, and to my disappointment, some water seeped in through the bib. I appreciate the adjustable elastic suspenders for their convenience, but I noticed they weren't as sturdy as I would have liked.
Overall, the Carhartt Yukon Extremes bib is a reliable choice for those who need a combination of warmth and protection. Despite the minor drawbacks, it has been my go-to for outdoor tasks on chilly days.

🔗Carhartt Women's Yukon Insulated Coverall: Ultimate Cold Weather Protection

https://preview.redd.it/awe5dvwwzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5540659e89bc3eed1b4cd7be75c87775ec58033f
As a cold weather enthusiast, I've tried the Carhartt Yukon Extreme Coveralls and let me tell you, they are an absolute game-changer in the winter season! The first thing I noticed was their sleek design, perfect for those who need a practical yet stylish outfit to face the cold. The zipper closure was a breeze to use, and the 6.5-ounce, 500-denier Cordura nylon shell offered a robust protection from harsh weather conditions.
One of the features that truly stood out to me was the 150g 3M Thinsulate insulation, ensuring that I could confidently venture into the heart of winter without shivering. The 3M Scotchlite Carbon Black reflective taping on the center back and double front also provided extra safety when I was out in low-light conditions.
The Wind Fighter technology and Rain Defender durable water repellent (DWR) gave me the peace of mind that I could withstand some light rain without feeling soaked. The triple-stitched main seams, center front zipper, and rib-knit storm cuffs provided all the reinforcements needed to shield me from the wind.
However, there were a couple of cons that I couldn't overlook. Firstly, the coveralls were a bit restrictive in terms of movement, making it difficult to perform certain tasks. Secondly, the sizing seemed a bit off, and finding the perfect fit was quite the challenge.
Overall, the Carhartt Yukon Insulated Coverall is a fantastic option for anyone looking for protection from the chilliest weather. It may not be perfect, but it undeniably gets the job done and makes me feel like a winter warrior out on the field.

🔗Workrite Coveralls - Lightweight, Breathable, and Flame Resistant

https://preview.redd.it/gy1cfdaxzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=948280e288f730c9a77e1ec51a580f378bc78177
I recently had the opportunity to wear the Carhartt Men's Flame Resistant Force Loose Fit Lightweight Coverall on a typical workday. Firstly, its distinctive Breathable honeycomb weave fabric stood out, offering me great all-day comfort. This lightweight coverall also passed crucial performance requirements and was classified to NFPA 2112, showcasing its effectiveness at protecting wearers against hazards.
The Force technology was particularly impressive, as it efficiently wicked away sweat and helped the garment dry fast, preventing any unpleasant odors from sticking around. Moreover, this coverall kept me cool throughout the day thanks to the FastDry technology, which I found extremely convenient.
In terms of construction, this coverall was built with an anti-static, colorfast fabric that was wrinkle-resistant and conveniently featured a two-way front zipper with a secure storm flap. It also had two secure chest pockets perfect for storing small essentials.
The comfort flex waistband provided increased comfort, and the back yoke with pleats ensured ease of movement. This versatile workwear also boasted multiple utility pockets for added storage, an adjustable sleeve cuff with snap closure, and ankle-to-knee leg openings that fit nicely over boots.
However, after a long day in the Carhartt Coverall, I realized it wasn't as convenient as I hoped when it came to ledge pockets. Accessing the lower-front ledge pockets was slightly challenging with a side-entry pass-through. Nonetheless, I appreciated the attention to detail through the addition of NFPA 2112 and FR labels on the left-chest pocket.
In conclusion, the Carhartt Men's Flame Resistant Force Loose Fit Lightweight Coverall proved to be a reliable garment in providing essential protection and functionality at work. Despite the slight drawback with the ledge pockets, overall it's a practical and comfortable choice for those looking for top-notch flame-resistant workwear.

🔗Flame Resistant Carhartt Coveralls for Comfort and Protection

I've been using these Carhartt flame resistant coveralls for quite some time, and I must say, they've proven to be incredibly durable and comfortable. One of my favorite features is their 100% cotton material, which makes them perfect for a variety of outdoor tasks. However, I've noticed that they can be a bit warm during the summer months.
Despite this little inconvenience, the coveralls' overall quality is top-notch. The spread collar and multiple pockets have made it convenient for me to carry my tools while on the go. The zipper closure ensures a secure fit, while the machine wash feature makes cleaning a breeze.
What truly sets these coveralls apart is their Carhartt FR label, which guarantees compliance with NFPA 70 E standards and UL Classification to NFPA 2112. This additional layer of safety is something I appreciate when working on high-risk projects.
In all honesty, I'm really happy with my experience using these Carhartt coveralls, and I'm confident they'll continue to serve me well in the future. If you're in the market for a high-quality, comfortable, and functional piece of workwear, I would definitely recommend giving these a try.

2024.05.19 12:18 No_Stock_8448 Looking for guidance on how to best work with doctor to get a diagnosis after 4 years of symptom management.

Hi. I am looking for guidance on how best to work with my doctor to get some clarity on the cause of some symptoms I’ve been dealing with for the last four years. If this is something I should go directly to a specialist to, please let me know.
Background: Four years ago I had a health episode, which was characterized as a hypothyroid episode a year later by an endocrinologist. (The episode happened during the pandemic and thus it took a long time to see a specialist. Had it not been for the pandemic and how overwhelmed the hospitals were I would have called an ambulance). The episode was me waking up suddenly in the middle of the night with a racing heart and inability to move due to sudden muscle weakness. I was eventually able to lift myself out of bed after 4 hours but remained in bed for the day. Heart was racing for the next three days and didn’t start coming down until day three. I lost about 15 pounds over the week following. I became super emotional and started crying easily (which was very uncharacteristic for me) and started experiencing low blood pressure and hypoglycemia as well as intense fatigue. My sleep was wrecked. I couldn’t sleep for more than an hour or two before my body would suddenly wake me up. My doctor at the time sent me for blood work (CMP) and I tagged on a order for CRP (in the state I lived at the time you can order your own test) due to the irregular heart activity and both came back normal. My PCP at the time could not identify a diagnosis and did not provide any recommendations for treatment. (Again this was mid-height of the pandemic so doctors were overworked and burning out, so I get it, but it was hard to not have an answer.) Ultimately I self managed by leaning on my healthy eating and lifestyle habits (whole foods based diet, avoiding sugar and process foods and prioritizing rest and stress reduction). I also got a therapist to help me deal with anxiety caused by the lack of sleep and got a psych evaluation just to be thorough given the sudden crying fits. Psych evaluation came back clear. In the end I quit my job and moved back in with my parents because management of my symptoms became a full time job. After nine months of diligence I was able to put back on 10 of the 25 pounds I lost in total the 2-3 weeks following the episode. After a year and a half I was able to stop the (non-diabetic) hypoglycemia, and got a diagnosis of POTS which explained the low blood pressure and some of the exercise fatigue. After two years I was finally able to hit six hours a night of sleep and within six months was back to eight.
For the most part I’m okay now. I’ve put all my weight back on, my sleep in restored, no random crying fits, my exercise intolerance continues to improve and I’ve even been able to expand my diet after being put on a low-FODMAP, gluten-free dairy free diet 10 yes ago after food poisoning. However every six months or so, the symptoms start to creep back in. Sleep disruption is usually the first sign. I’ll find myself waking up after 4 hrs, usually with a racing heart and after an intense vivid dream. The weirdest part is the time distortion. The four hours feels like eight. Then the exercise intolerance starts to creep and the weight starts dropping.
A bit more context: this most recent episode (what spurred this post) is happening while I take a break from animal-based protein. (I have painful monthly periods due to endometriosis and noticed last month a reduction in pain and that I didn’t eat meat a few days leading into the period.) I’ve been eating beans and rice to get a complete protein and each meal has carbs, fat, veg protein and fiber. I may have a problem breaking down fat (just based on my own observation of what I notice with bowel movements, the color turns orange/yellow after my period and for the first half of my cycle), and I noticed yesterday that the internal chatter we all have (you know that worrying and nagging part of us) has gone quiet. That part has been nice actually but it’s uncharacteristic for me. I’m usually more driven and results focused. Currently just meh, not depressed (feel good about self and life) just apathetic. I’m also the most active I’ve been since the episode. Currently walking 20 mins/day 5/days per week with no exercise fatigue!
I can usually self manage but I’d love to work with my doctor to get to the bottom of this. I’m in a different state now (NY) and have a new PCP, but I’m wondering what testing should I be asking for to get answers and if I should instead ask for a referral to a specialist and if so which one. I thought it was an endocrinologist but my endo related bloodwork always comes back normal, so not sure if that specialty still makes sense. Four years is a long time to self-manage and I’m appreciate any guidance in pointing me in the best direction.

2024.05.19 12:17 d3sertcactus I'm 5lbs away from onederland!!!

I've lost 40lbs since January mostly by fixing my relationship with food and getting more active. I feel so much better in myself, more confident, I'm actively looking after myself and life is just generally better.
I always knew I'd hit a period where I'd maintain for a while - mainly to give my body a rest - and for the past month I've done just that. Although it was unintentional, my body seemed to just need a rest.
Anyway, I weighed in this morning and have lost for the first time in 4-5 weeks and I'm now only 5lbs away from seeing the scales start with a 1 instead of a 2.
Just wanted to share my excitement. No one at home seems to get how much of a milestone this is but thought you guys would :)

2024.05.19 12:17 PossibleEffective504 Is there any hope? (m, 26)

I am in a pretty bad condition since i had a severe throat infection (probably covid) in august 2022.
I had severe productive cough for weeks , and after it finally got better, I constantly cough in the morning and have globus sensation and pain in my throat throughout the whole day.
Since then visited several doctors, had 3 endoscopies, pH Testing, and several more tests.
They saw some inflammations in my lower esophagus and 1 doctor saw that my sphincter isnt closing properly.
My ph Testing came back normal.
They put me on PPI for 3 months but all i got was stomach cramps, and it didnt help at all.
After half a year of pain i read some studies that pregabaline and xanax helps to reduce the nerve pain so i considered it worth a try especially since all the doctors didnt know anything else to try apart from PPI.
Surprisingly my symptoms got better on 3x150mg pregabaline and 3x0.5mg alprazolame daily so i stayed on them.
What also generally seemed to help is drinking less generally (went from 2 L of water a day to maybe 1 L) and also eating less and only 3 times per day.
Eating less and less is hard though bc i am already only 70kg on 6’1ft.
Unfortunately i always have a lot of ups and downs with my symptoms.
Sometimes i am good for weeks, even months - longest period without severe symptoms was around 4 months at the beginning of this year.
But the last 4 weeks have been horrible again.
Waking up with severe throat pain, coughing in the morning, then feeling the throat pain throughout the day.
I was also thinking it might have something to do with me using my voice too much. I used to work in a remote sales job and i had 3-4 hours of zoom meetings a day with me mostly talking.
But i switched my job and now it is maybe 1 hour of talking per day, sometimes less.
However i dont really feel better.
I know im hooked on the benzos and pregabaline but since they help atleast sometimes i dont wanna wean off of them and also i am not abusing them for getting high. I see them purely as medicine and dont take more than what im taking everyday.
I just feel hopeless because i always have these phases where i feel really bad.
Past 4 weeks have been horrible.
I dont even know what is causing those flare ups since i dont change my lifestyle.
Only issue i could think of is maybe mental stress.
I havent held a special diet - i lived very healthy all my life. No smoking, barely any processed food.
Mostly plain natural foods (rice, beans, beef, chicken, eggs, butter, green vegetables).
The worst part about it is that i feel like i cant even enjoy social activities when i have the flareups. I just feel like sleeping all day. Since talking a lot also seems to make it worse.
Anyone can relate?
Btw i find it interesting that barely anyone talks about the positive effects of pregabaline and lowdose benzos.
Without them i dont know where i would be today. They have brought me weeks and months witth barely any symptoms.
I think as long as there is no effective medicine against LPR yet, doctors should focus on pain reduction.
Benzos and pregabaline work 6/10, sometimes well sometimes not at all.
I wonder if opiates would do a better job but i am worried about a possible opiate addiction. I would definitely need any success stories before starting with them. Also considering the side effects.

2024.05.19 12:17 SnooSquirrels8048 Xans for when you can’t shutdown?

I’ve been having extreme problems with sleep and just general anxiety for years now and due to my circumstances which will be changing soon I can’t get access to a psychiatrist or a normal doctor and frankly every time I have they don’t believe how debilitating my anxiety is. So I I just took it upon myself to find Xanax on the street (yes I know) but it was that or kms. Also I think velerian root makes me more anxious/hallucinate and I think doctors have been prescribing more “natural” sleep and anxiety as well as myself for over the counter stuff however they just aren’t strong enough or they make make feel like I’m going through withdrawals. I have tried melatonin etc, and tart cherry juice is just not a thing in my country it seems. Magnesium is just a vitamin so I genuinely have made efforts to go through the natural route. Even harsh exercise, but I won’t lie exercise bores me to death and even when I manage to exercise hard or in any form my body still doesn’t shut down. It’s tired just still bloody anxious. Anyways this past weekend I finished all my assignments so I toook a strong edible and some xans. And have been popping one or two a day. It’s been about a week, literally of me just journaling crying, sleeping, resting. So anyways I’m well rested now and I’m actually about to do one of my hobbies, and journaled and just released and going through the motions but judgement free and I feel amazing. I won’t be taking anymore for now until I actually get very anxious. I also don’t have an addictive personality, and I’m simply too broke and shallow to spend all my money on xans so it won’t get to that. But just to cover all my bases, is there anything I shouldn’t mix with it as it is street stuff so it’s already dangerous, besides like other drugs and alcohol or course but is there anything I should know as this is self medication and I at least want to be as a safe as possible… even though this isn’t necessarily safe…

2024.05.19 12:11 French_Italian79 I want to but don’t want to start cutting

I (14m) have never SH’d before but I’ve been struggling lately and feel really alone. It’s kind of like I’m drowning but no body can see it. I can tell I’ve got a whole host of mental health issues but I can’t go to a psychologist without my parents knowing I feel like this. I’m closeted currently especially from them and it’s what tanked my mental health so greatly. I feel like all of my emotions and thoughts are getting louder and louder. Music used to help quiet them but even now it’s to pain full to bear and I just fall into panic attacks constantly night after night. The whole internet seems to agree that SH is something that quiets your head and allows you to feel happy again(even if it’s only temporarily). I just need something to make me feel calmer and more like me again. I’ve been getting these weird thoughts of my mind melting into bliss as I SH. One day it was really bad I sterilised a hunting knife I have but chickened out last minute and just resorted to punching my head and outer thigh. I want to get better but my parents are a huge road black that I can’t even face. I know it’s killing me and it feels like shit every day. Sometimes which I fell into a SH addiction so someone would notice and finally care and I could get help but it’s to scary to bring up. Please anyone who has advice let me know it feels like I can’t hold onto this cliff forever and I don’t know what will happen if I fall off.

2024.05.19 12:06 sakalasjm Can we leave this body permanently before it dies as a way of escaping this matrix? What are your thoughts?

Let's say the body is really old, incapacitated, pain or irreparable. I've heard of monks achieving the rainbow body.
Rainbow Body is a term used in Tibetan Buddhism to describe a state in which the practitioner's body is said to dissolve into light, leaving behind only small remnants such as nails and hair but I can only imagine that it would take an immense amount of spiritual work over a lifetime to achieve this

2024.05.19 12:06 Adventurous_Emu825 Not sure if I should see a doctor, would appreciate some advice…

23M, Ive had problems with lower back pain since I was a teenager. For the past few years my situation has gotten much better and Ive kinda stopped paying as much attention to everything. My back pain basically went away etc. So for about the past 3 weeks or so Ive been feeling a “tightness” in the back of my left buttock and thigh. I feel it the most in the morning, then it kinda fades away over the day and I only really feel it in some positions. At first I thought it’s just a tight muscle or something but yesterday it clicked its probably a pinched nerve. I did the test with laying on the ground and lifting my leg and I can do it without any pain. I was also just in PT for my elbow and asked the guy about it and he quickly did the same test along with another one and said, that if it was a pinched nerve I wouldnt be able to straighten my leg at all while I can do it easily. I don’t really have any lower back pain either atm. However the tightness/ stinging is still there and it kinda seems to be getting a bit worse. Im not really sure what to do/ how serious it is, should I see a doctor anyway? How careful should I be with my movements, I do forward bends for thigh stretching etc. And it feels good to stretch the leg in general. Should I stop? I dont wanna make it worse. Would appreciate any advice, thank you.

2024.05.19 12:02 thedartmuncher Chronically ill artist looking for community input

I’m an artist, art is one of my outlets for my anger and frustration with my disabilities. I take out my rage at my body through art that puts my pain onto a canvas. My disabilities are non-apparent and finding a way to express them in a visible way helps me process. I’m working on a series which has words written in the background. One (or more) of the paintings I want to do would contain the worst things doctors have said to me. I want to make a few of them and, if anyone is willing, I would love to put the damaging words others have heard from those who are supposed to help us down too. If you’re willing to share and have me use your experience please write them below. I’ll be writing a whole bunch down to add as I have the energy to produce my paintings.

2024.05.19 12:01 djynnslayer jolting awake while trying to sleep

probably going to be a long post, sorry in advance. had them a few times tn so i’m a little scattered
in december or january of this year i woke up when i was just getting to sleep and felt like my heart was melting- super hot, not beating, just liquidated. it happened once, i put it out of mind for several months, and then in late february while writing a paper for class I had a numbness around my heart, left arm, and shoulder.
as i was very busy the next day i ignored it and went to class like normal but it felt almost pinched, not painful but very uncomfortable and if i sat or laid down wrong i felt it would stop beating. this got progressively worse in class to the point where i had a 15 second episode of sweating, nausea, dizziness, dread, and numbness in both arms. when i went to the ER they found nothing wrong after testing just about everything + a chest X ray. said it was stress and shuffled me out with heartburn meds and painkillers.
since then they seem to come and go every few weeks. maybe a month later those episodes of jolting up in the night resumed. they’re never the same. at one point i had around 7 in one night and just kept going back to sleep and ignoring them, and one day i had just one and was a nervous wreck the next day, couldn’t go to class. i felt sometimes my heart was not beating, or it was hot, or my chest was hollow, or all the air had suddenly been sucked out of me (which is the kind i’m having now). they last one second or less and 9 times out of ten i roll over seconds later if i even sit up at all. the “panic” part isn’t there.
after going to another doctors appointment they again said it must be panic attacks and had me take sertraline and hydroxyzine. to my understanding these are for general anxiety and stopping panic attacks WHICH ARE NOT APPLICABLE TO ME! i’m literally able to have one, feel my heartbeat and confirm i’m not short of breath, and go back to sleep. it’s done in one second, i don’t need a pill to stop it.
after that appointment in march they’ve been infrequent or so mild i question whether i even had one, but tonight i’ve had 3 after trying to sleep for 2 hours. each time i feel like there’s no air in my lungs and i have a strong shock, sit up, and find i’m not short of breath and my heartbeat is normal. i feel like i’ve been misdiagnosed and there is something physically wrong with me, in my heart or lungs or maybe even my brain. can anyone tell me if this actually fits the bill for a panic attack? i’ve had the kind everyone talks about before, i understood the causes, and they resolved on their own. i’ve found absolutely nothing on them being like this.
for context i am 21M, in good shape, the most unhealthy things about me is i go to bed at 4 most nights and vape more than i’d like to.
tl;dr: symptoms are unlike anything i can find on the internet, think i’ve been misdiagnosed. looking for similar experiences or guidance

🔗Carhartt Insulated Bib Coveralls - Black

These Carhartt Men's Washed Duck Insulated Coveralls have been my go-to choice for work and outdoor activities. The cotton material has a comfortable and almost broken-in feel right out of the box, making them perfect for long hours on the job. Plus, the quilted nylon lining with midweight polyester insulation keeps me warm even in the coldest temperatures.
One thing I noticed, though, was the adjustable closure. It's great that it's adjustable, but I found it a bit tricky to find the right fit. And while the full-length two-way zipper with storm flap is helpful for easy on and off, the brushed tricot trim on the interior collar doesn't seem to stay tucked in as I'd like.
Overall, I'd say these coveralls are a solid choice for a rugged, insulated workwear with some minor adjustments needed.

The Carhartt insulated coveralls are the perfect addition to my work wardrobe. The 12-ounce, 100% ringspun washed cotton duck fabric feels both durable and comfortable, allowing me to focus on the task at hand without any distractions from my clothing. One of the features that stood out to me was the quilted nylon lining, which provides a midweight polyester insulation that helps me stay warm during the colder months without overheating.
While the ankle-to-waist zippers are convenient for easy entry, I found it a bit cumbersome to reach the pockets of my work pants underneath the coveralls. Additionally, the 360-degree kick panels make it easy to keep out the cold, but I wish they had a two-way function for a more comfortable fit. Overall, I believe the Carhartt insulated coveralls have a lot of potential, and with a few improvements, they could become even more versatile and comfortable for those of us who work long hours outdoors.

🔗Carhartt Firm Duck Insulated Bibs: Rugged and Breathable Workwear

https://preview.redd.it/vobepd69wc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ebe26aa44ac667d9771db7cf09577d9ad767f947
These Carhartt Loose Fit Firm Duck Insulated Bibs are a dependable companion for those who work hard, play hard, or love to stay warm in various weather conditions. The quilted nylon lining around the waist area ensures easy on and off, while the polyester insulation provides mid-range warmth.
The bib pockets are useful and practical, with plenty of room for your belongings. Despite the occasional fussiness with the pockets, reviewers have praised this bib's durability, ease of movement, and smart design aspects.
It's been a consistent, hardworking favorite in their wardrobe, which speaks volumes about its value and the confidence one can have in Carhartt's craftsmanship.

🔗Carhartt's Flame-Resistant Quilt-Lined Duck Bib Overall - High-Quality, Heavy Fabric Workwear

https://preview.redd.it/3xpz36k9wc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d0a2ea78f45059d665896afcdce05589fb8f013
During my journey of using the Carhartt flame-resistant duck bib overall, I found myself in situations where I needed to put it through some tests. After wearing it for a few weeks, I noticed that it met the expectations for durability and warmth, as it's designed for cold weather work. The bib overall had a high back with elastic suspenders and center-release buckles, which improved its longevity by providing sturdiness. However, I also noticed that it lacked a few features that would have made it more comfortable, such as a soft fabric lining.
Through my experience, I have discovered that this bib overall is great for those who need flame resistance and warmth in their workwear. While it might not be the most comfortable option, it does offer a level of protection and durability that many other options cannot match. Additionally, I have found that it's suitable for people who are taller, as the leg zippers go ankle to thigh, providing enough room for easy on and off. Nonetheless, it is essential to follow safety precautions and take proper care of the bib overall so that it serves its purpose effectively.

🔗Warm and Durable Carhartt Duck Bib Overall with Insulation and Tool Pockets

https://preview.redd.it/yj8rxtv9wc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=380e35b3aea36f7512f13b41e07cd2f444a6434d
I recently had the chance to try out these Carhartt Brown Duck Bib Overalls with a quilt-lined design. First off, let me say that I was impressed with its durability right out of the box - it felt heavily built and sturdy, perfect for tackling any task on hand. The quilted lining made it an ideal choice for colder months, keeping me warm and comfortable even when the temperatures dipped.
One of the key features that stood out for me was the zip-to-knee leg zippers. It made getting in and out of them a breeze, especially when I needed to switch between tasks or remove them quickly during a break. Plus, the fact that it accommodates kneepads was a huge plus, offering great protection for my knees and back.
However, one downside I noticed was the zipper on the back left pocket. It seemed to stick occasionally and wouldn't close properly, resulting in a bit of hassle when I needed to access the tools stored inside. The pocket design also wasn't as deep as I would have preferred, which made it more challenging to hold larger items.
Despite that, my overall experience with these quality Carhartt bibs was quite positive. The water-repellency ensured that I stayed dry even when working in damp environments, and the adjustable front-elastic suspender ensured a comfortable, customized fit. With a robust construction and multiple pockets that proved to be quite useful during my work, these bibs were a great addition to my collection.

🔗Carhartt Insulated Bib Overalls: Durable and Comfortable Winter Workwear

https://preview.redd.it/kdvzw7fawc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f48e3079769c5c04891540d2c690a929950f987
I recently had the chance to try out the Carhartt R02 Bib Overalls and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. Constructed with a mid-weight nylon quilted to polyester lining, these bib overalls are perfect for cold weather. The high back with elastic suspenders and leg zippers with protective wind flaps and snap closure make them both comfortable and functional.
One of my favorite features is the ample storage provided by the hammer loop and ruler pocket on the left leg, and the tool pocket in the right leg. The addition of metal rivets at stress points and double knees with clean out bottoms also adds value to the product. While the reversed leg pocket configuration may take some getting used to, overall, the Carhartt R02 Bib Overalls are a great investment for those who want warmth and durability in their workwear.

Materials and Insulation

The primary concern when purchasing insulated bibs is the quality of materials and insulation. Carhartt Bibs are generally made from heavy-duty cotton or a combination of cotton and polyester. This combination provides superior warmth while maintaining a high level of breathability. The insulation is commonly in the form of fleece or quilting, which traps air to keep you warm in cold temperatures.

Style and Fit

Carhartt Insulated Bibs come in different styles, including full bib, waist-length, and jacket-style bibs. Full bibs provide maximum coverage and warmth, while waist-length and jacket-style bibs offer more flexibility and ease of movement. The fit of the bibs can range from slim-fitting to loose, so it is essential to choose a size that provides a comfortable, yet snug fit. Additionally, consider the adjustable shoulder straps and waistband, which allow for a custom fit to ensure maximum comfort and warmth.

Durability and Maintenance

Durability is a critical factor when investing in Carhartt Insulated Bibs, as they are designed for heavy-duty use. Look for reinforced stitching, ripstop fabric, and tough zippers to ensure long-lasting performance. The bibs can be machine-washed and dried to maintain their durability and prevent shrinkage. When washing, follow the manufacturer's instructions to avoid damaging the insulation and materials.

Additional Features

Some Carhartt Insulated Bibs come with additional features that enhance their functionality and comfort. For example, some bibs may have pockets or hidden stash pockets for storing tools or personal items. Reflective trim or piping can be useful for visibility during low-light conditions. Also, consider the bib's ability to be worn in different configurations, such as zipping off the jacket or converting a full bib to a waist-length bib for added versatility.
When purchasing Carhartt Insulated Bibs, consider the materials and insulation, style and fit, durability, maintenance, and additional features. By taking these factors into account, you can make an informed decision that best suits your needs and preferences. Always consult the product specifications and customer reviews before making a purchase.

2024.05.19 11:56 Smilesalot4114 Birth control induced mcas?

Is it possible that 4 days on BCP, after being a long hauler previously, caused mcas?
Took BCP for 4 days, off it for 6 now.
Current Symptoms that started 10 days ago: Anxiety, depression, increased temperature, diarrhea, increased BP (119/77 to 143/86) & RHR (68 to 74), stronger tinnitus, severe RLS at night only sleeping 1-2 hrs at a time, leg pains over veins, bulging veins in legs mainly but also hands, psoriasis flare and expansion on ankles and elbows, dry skin that felt on fire on my body, legs that felt like fire ants were crawling on them, dry mouth, headache, noticeable veins over whole body and insomnia. So many of these overlapping with my previous LC experience.
About Me 36/F 5'5" 208lbs, PCOS, psoriasis, hypothyroid, reflux, Gastroparesis, dry eye, infertility and IDWA. On Nexium, synthroid, prenatal, CoQ10, D3, B12, omega 3s, and miralax 2x/day.
2021 infection after 3x moderna, tinnitus, pots, exertion intolerance, post viral Gastroparesis, dry eye, brain fog. 4 months post infection had GB removed, helped symptoms a lot. 2022 and 2023 boosters went totally fine, no issues. Modified diet, worked w/post covid clinic & by 2023 besides tinnitus & GP, felt great and was cleared by every specialist at age 35 to try for a baby.
2023 Conceived and lost 3 pregnacies in a row. First in Sept at 10w miscarriage, then had COVID 3 weeks later - took paxlovid and it helped tremendously, didn't feel like any symptoms worsened. Next December and Feb. By the 2nd pregnancy I was severely iron deficient from my limited GP diet & pregnacy (ferritin 4, iron sat 21%, iron 30, abnormal mch/MCV) and I feel that contributed to the 2 later losses, first was random genetic. IV iron Infusions necessary bc didn't tolerate oral with GP, did 4 and just finished 4/30 - getting updated iron bloods Monday.
Now Stopped BC 4 days ago when it became unbearable & went to PCP, they're baffled as the extreme leg and vein stuff doesn't fit bc side effects. Sent me & no DVT on duplex US, told stop BC, wear compression socks, take magnesium, elevate, watch BP. I wake up at night with knee and below feeling hot, woke up shaking one night. BP and RhR 5 days out have started to stabilize 🙏 but even now I still experience side of neck tightening, yesterday and today had major sharp headaches when I never get headaches in my life and one eye blurry - it went to my teeth and then my left eye felt a bit of pressure and now is slightly blurry despite my eye drops. Tonight I was sound asleep when I was woken up at 3:45am by a sharp headache and pins & needles from my armpits to my hands, then pressure that lasted 15-30 mins. Are these migraines?
I can't believe 4 fucking pills did this all to me. Is this mcas? Autoimmune? Hormonal? Dr ruled out DVT with us but that's it so far.
Any help or suggestions of what to look into. extremely appreciated. 🙏
