My partner and I (both 26f) have been living together for almost 5 years na, and been in a relationship for 5 years since early May. Matagal na kaming nag-aaway, matagal na rin kaming nagkakasakitan emotionally. Mainly because ako lang financer samin dahil she can't keep a stable job due to her anxiety and medyo unstable emotionally and mentally, so ang away namin would mostly be rooted in frustration kasi pagod na ako kakasalo and she's feeling guilty about many things.
Destructive rin siya, nakakapagsira ng gamit na minsan lang naman pero grabe, sobrang bigat sa pakiramdam. Hurtful magsalita kapag hindi siya okay, tapos sabay marerealize after kung kailan nagbreakdown na ko. Ganun.
To be fair, maalaga siya at may pangarap sa buhay - yun nga lang, mostly pangarap nalang kasi hirap siyang gumalaw. Lately may trabaho na siya ulit after a year of losing her last job, pero before that, wala rin siya job for months and months. Kung susumahin, 4 years worth ng relationship namin, ako lang nagfifinance (on top sa responsibilities ko sa family ko na kinukusa ko kasi mahal na mahal ko magulang ko, and di nila ako pinapabayaan).
Ang bigat bigat na kasi talaga. Gusto niya 50:50 sa gawaing bahay, which is okay naman, pero kapag di siya okay, sasaluhin ko. Pag ako di okay, ang sagot is "Ikaw na yan dapat. Oras mo na eh." Shifting kasi kami sa bahay at dogs, hahaha morning ako, night siya. Ewan ko ba. Kulang man ako sa tulog o may sakit, hindi ko makuha yung pagkukusa na pagaanin buhay ko. Pero pag siya, hihinga nalang siya kasi okay na lahat, bills, pagkain, bahay. Nakakapagod. Isang sabi na "Pwede ikaw muna sa dogs, anxious lang ako.", ako naman si gawa.
Everytime na mag voice out ako, lagi akong pinatatahimik kasi baka marinig ng kapitbahay ang iyak ko. Lagi niya kong sinasabihang "Wag ka humagulgol, wag kang mag wild, wag kang magdadabog." So yung emotions ko, repressed, walang mapaglabasan.
Nagkkwento ako dati sa friends ko until nagsabi siya na di siya comfortable kasi nagbabago tingin ng friends ko sakanya, which is understandable kaya tinigil ko na. Lagi naman two sides ang kinekwento ko pero syempre, gets na minsan may biased reactions from my friends. Anyway, since then, di na ko nag kwento. Ginagamit niya to as panangga na "Sige, ikwento mo sa mga kaibigan mo. Sirain mo ako blablabla" Ewan.

Kaya ako nag post dito kasi nag aaway kami for weeks na, nagsorry kagabi akala ko okay na. Nag away na naman kami kanina mga teh dahil sabi niya siya bahala sa dogs over the weekend dahil ako na buong weekday, sabay ginising ako to fix the dogs dahil kakatulog palang niya. Ok lang sana pero unfair mima! Pag ako puyat at pagod, ako parin eh. Pero ang dealbreaker ko talaga now - sinasabi niyang gusto na niyang mawala sa mundo (kasi alam ko may mental trauma narin siya talaga from childhood tas nadala ngayon, so ako ang absorber) gusto ko i-comfort pero di ko na kaya. Sabi ko di ko deserve na i-endure lahat ng ito. Ngayon, at risk na naman na mawala job niya kasi pag nagbbreakdown to, shut off talaga as in AWOL hahahah hence, me being the financer.
Pinapaalis ko siya kasi 4 aso namin at mas may means ako mag alaga. Ayaw ko rin ibigay sakanya tho buhay niya talaga mga aso namin, maalaga siya at mapagmahal, pero hindi niya kaya i-finance pa. Super dog and animal lover to so wala akong kaso mag share kami ng dogs pag nakaalis na siya. Kaso di makaalis kasi wala siyang pera, and legit walang pamilyang makakasama. Kahit friends, wala. Friends ko ang friends niya. Minsan talaga napapa-gwenchana nalang ako.
Masakit pa ba, oo. Nakakabastos lang kasi binato niya phone niya eh ako bumili nun. Wahaha. Malungkot, sobra. Alam ko kung anong deserve ko at hyperaware ako sa tamang gawin, pero ang hirap kasi pag overpowered ng responsibilities at mga alagang babies eh. Rent lang tong bahay namin, na kaya ko naman isustain kaso need namin umalis sa July kasi ibebenta na to. Ang hirap humanap ng bahay na malapit sa magulang ko, tas pwede aso. Bawal naman sa bahay ng parents ko kasi 4 dogs na sila.
Hahahaha at fault rin ako, minsan mas matimbang trauma ko sa efforts niya kaya raw napapagod na siya bumawi kasi balik ako nang balik sa dati. Haha sorry ate, ang bigat kasi talaga para mag move on na parang wala lang. Sana magkapera na siya para makaalis na siya. Or sana makahanap ako paraan para makayanang mag sustain ng 4 dogs if lilipat. Haha miss ko na mama and papa ko sobra.

Destructive rin siya, nakakapagsira ng gamit na minsan lang naman pero grabe, sobrang bigat sa pakiramdam. Hurtful magsalita kapag hindi siya okay, tapos sabay marerealize after kung kailan nagbreakdown na ko. Ganun.
To be fair, maalaga siya at may pangarap sa buhay - yun nga lang, mostly pangarap nalang kasi hirap siyang gumalaw. Lately may trabaho na siya ulit after a year of losing her last job, pero before that, wala rin siya job for months and months. Kung susumahin, 4 years worth ng relationship namin, ako lang nagfifinance (on top sa responsibilities ko sa family ko na kinukusa ko kasi mahal na mahal ko magulang ko, and di nila ako pinapabayaan).
Ang bigat bigat na kasi talaga. Gusto niya 50:50 sa gawaing bahay, which is okay naman, pero kapag di siya okay, sasaluhin ko. Pag ako di okay, ang sagot is "Ikaw na yan dapat. Oras mo na eh." Shifting kasi kami sa bahay at dogs, hahaha morning ako, night siya. Ewan ko ba. Kulang man ako sa tulog o may sakit, hindi ko makuha yung pagkukusa na pagaanin buhay ko. Pero pag siya, hihinga nalang siya kasi okay na lahat, bills, pagkain, bahay. Nakakapagod. Isang sabi na "Pwede ikaw muna sa dogs, anxious lang ako.", ako naman si gawa.
Everytime na mag voice out ako, lagi akong pinatatahimik kasi baka marinig ng kapitbahay ang iyak ko. Lagi niya kong sinasabihang "Wag ka humagulgol, wag kang mag wild, wag kang magdadabog." So yung emotions ko, repressed, walang mapaglabasan.
Nagkkwento ako dati sa friends ko until nagsabi siya na di siya comfortable kasi nagbabago tingin ng friends ko sakanya, which is understandable kaya tinigil ko na. Lagi naman two sides ang kinekwento ko pero syempre, gets na minsan may biased reactions from my friends. Anyway, since then, di na ko nag kwento. Ginagamit niya to as panangga na "Sige, ikwento mo sa mga kaibigan mo. Sirain mo ako blablabla" Ewan.
Nag post narin ako dito before pero ayun, taken down na kasi nga to protect her and our story daw. Ganyan.
Kaya ako nag post dito kasi nag aaway kami for weeks na, nagsorry kagabi akala ko okay na. Nag away na naman kami kanina mga teh dahil sabi niya siya bahala sa dogs over the weekend dahil ako na buong weekday, sabay ginising ako to fix the dogs dahil kakatulog palang niya. Ok lang sana pero unfair mima! Pag ako puyat at pagod, ako parin eh. Pero ang dealbreaker ko talaga now - sinasabi niyang gusto na niyang mawala sa mundo (kasi alam ko may mental trauma narin siya talaga from childhood tas nadala ngayon, so ako ang absorber) gusto ko i-comfort pero di ko na kaya. Sabi ko di ko deserve na i-endure lahat ng ito. Ngayon, at risk na naman na mawala job niya kasi pag nagbbreakdown to, shut off talaga as in AWOL hahahah hence, me being the financer.
Pinapaalis ko siya kasi 4 aso namin at mas may means ako mag alaga. Ayaw ko rin ibigay sakanya tho buhay niya talaga mga aso namin, maalaga siya at mapagmahal, pero hindi niya kaya i-finance pa. Super dog and animal lover to so wala akong kaso mag share kami ng dogs pag nakaalis na siya. Kaso di makaalis kasi wala siyang pera, and legit walang pamilyang makakasama. Kahit friends, wala. Friends ko ang friends niya. Minsan talaga napapa-gwenchana nalang ako.
Masakit pa ba, oo. Nakakabastos lang kasi binato niya phone niya eh ako bumili nun. Wahaha. Malungkot, sobra. Alam ko kung anong deserve ko at hyperaware ako sa tamang gawin, pero ang hirap kasi pag overpowered ng responsibilities at mga alagang babies eh. Rent lang tong bahay namin, na kaya ko naman isustain kaso need namin umalis sa July kasi ibebenta na to. Ang hirap humanap ng bahay na malapit sa magulang ko, tas pwede aso. Bawal naman sa bahay ng parents ko kasi 4 dogs na sila.
Hahahaha at fault rin ako, minsan mas matimbang trauma ko sa efforts niya kaya raw napapagod na siya bumawi kasi balik ako nang balik sa dati. Haha sorry ate, ang bigat kasi talaga para mag move on na parang wala lang. Sana magkapera na siya para makaalis na siya. I visited him afterwards and met his family. He lives at home as he’s saving money and helps his mom a lot around the house and overall. She’s older (65+) and needs help a lot. She’s energetic and light hearted but also has a wicked streak.
I never anticipated this. When I met she was super sweet. It was his sister that gave me a hard time at first, which was difficult but I persevered regardless. His mother started as supportive, but as soon as I started discussing future plans, everything began to change.
Suddenly I was rushing things, my husband, life , etc. I was 25 when we dated and he was 23. We were younger but not THAT young. We both eagerly discussed marriage since week 2 of dating. We dated a year and a bit when I first met his family.
Every conversation with his sister or mom during the first year or two of dating revolved around my lack of education. They’re a degree family (teachers at a elementary school and pre-K) and looked down on me because I didn’t have one, so I decided to open up about my trauma and childhood to help them understand why I’m where I’m at in life, and that it’s actually way better than I could ever imagine.
I have my own place. I make good money at a corporate job I’ve been at for several years, and I travel frequently. I have a full life of friends and family of my own. I don’t talk to my mom because she was physically abusive until I was 17 and worse. His mom knows this.
I explained that we need a marriage based visa approval before I can legally move to his country (USA) from mine (Canada). Student visa is pricey and not ideal for future plans. I went through the process and it all over 20 times in length. Trying to get everyone to understand it was the best option to get married. They fought it HARD. I cried so much, so many times.
I had no idea why they were soiling on our goals and on me. My husband was so excited to get married, he knew what we needed to do. They actively tried to convince him not to do it but then helped him plan my engagement decorations and cake. His sister was annoyed by this, since it was hard to watch her younger brother grow up and as her own marriage was rocky at the time.
After we got married his mom started making comments only to me about how we have to “wait and see how it all goes after a year” implying we wouldn’t last that long. She constantly says stuff like this. Especially when we’re alone in the kitchen having what I thought was an open conversation.
She’s accused me of marrying him for a green card, of trying to rush our marriage to have babies, and trap him.
I have explained countless times my plan and our plan to wait for kids. Yes I’m older than him but we have goals before kids come that we want to achieve. Pair her general comments with her mean remarks whenever we mention future kids, and I just see someone trying to tear me down.
The worst thing she said is that she thinks if I got pregnant and my relationship with him fails, that I’ll “take the baby to Canada”. And that if things don’t work out before kids, I’ll be alone out here. Yeah.
Despite all this, I have always helped her and been nice. Even too nice.
Today was the straw that broke my camels proverbial back. I had helped her while she was really sick with what we found out to be COVID, for 2 weeks while I am visiting my husband before we fly away for our 1 year Anniversary trip. I made her home made soup, I cleaned her house, I checked on her. I made a custom recipe book for my Mother’s Day gift to her. I got her whole family to sign it after.
We haven’t celebrated due to her being sick. We were supposed today. My husband and I came back from a day out and she starts ranting about our sex life to him, and I am overhearing this from his room. She was talking about it in the open dining room randomly.
I had a private talk with her when she was at the end of her sickness, as my husband and I had some tense talks and I wanted to get insight. I had mentioned in passing that my iud strings were cut during a precancer cell removal surgery. That I was being careful but still worry for us sometimes, but that I’m taking precautions.
She didn’t say much besides “ oh that’s good! I’m glad to hear that”. Then she brings it up today, 4 days later. In front of my husband who in already discussed this with. She’s lying and saying I sounded unsure and scared, that we’re being careless and that she’s praying we don’t get pregnant. She tells him he should take mint pills, get a temporary vasectomy, and that I should get checked / scanned. That she doesn’t know if we’re compatible if we have tense talks lately and we may find out after living together FT. She said she wishes she could twist his balls, that she had a nightmare I got pregnant and “someone got hurt” but didn’t elaborate so as not to “call it into existence “ We’re just standing there stunned. She plays it off like she cares, but she’s just being so negative.
I levelled with her, assuring her I would take precautions once again. That her concern is real. Well shortly after we went to his room feeling good about hearing her out while talking. But then I hear his mom gossiping to his older sister. She barely looked at me after when I walked in. She was noticeably cold to me.
His mom was syrupy sweet to me. Saying we (her son and i) should go on a walk to enjoy the sunnny day! I cried the whole time asking him why she’s so mean, why she can’t trust us to be adults.
I cried so hard I skipped lunch and dinner, I had an anxiety attack. I couldn’t breathe, I’m disbelief at what I saw and heard today. It’s like nothing I did in the past 4 years and 1 year of marriage almost, mattered to her or made any impact.
My husband went up and talked to her, for a long time. He came down and spoke on her behalf, detailing how concerned she was for me and my health “stuff” and that it holds heavy on her heart. She doesn’t want us to go through worse (baby is worse?) and wanted to get her point across. That she loves me and accepts me as her own.
Well after I stopped sobbing, I texted her saying I was sorry for today and why stress I caused her with my words.
She texts back giving me shit for not “coming to her directly” as she felt it was important i hear what she said to her son too. That if she didn’t care she wouldn’t bring it up to us. That we will figure it out as we’re adults. Night night with heart emoji.
I texted back a big paragraph (like this post) reminding her that she wasn’t direct with me as she was talking to my husband about making sure I was on birth control, insinuating I’m lying about my IUD being effective. If I didn’t walk in the chat never would have happened. That she can’t expect me to come upstairs and hash it out if I’m so upset I can’t stop crying. That it’s unfair to put that on me after i was the bigger person and apologized to her tonight. She never said sorry to me directly.
My poor husband is in the middle, especially as he’s the youngest (27). I told him it’s time to move out and detach from the emotionally toxic relationship with his mom. He agrees.
He’s tried to leave a few times but she guilts him into staying. Today was the first day he saw her true colours towards me, he hated it!

I've noticed a pattern on this sub that whenever someone posts an opinion that doesn't fully praise an idol or group, or offers a critique (without being hateful or backhanded), there's often a stream of downvotes.
In many of these comments, the commenter usually acknowledges that their opinion might be unpopular or that they might be being too critical, but they still share their thoughts. This shows that they are aware of their comment and have provided context to what they say respectfully. While it's understandable to downvote hateful comments, why downvote those that are simply unpopular?
For example, just two minutes ago, I saw a post where someone mentioned that they find K-pop group names to be getting a bit weird. The first reply was "you're overreacting," second was when someone mentioned an MV reminds them of a movie, again downvotes. (movie was dr strange). Another where someone said "if i nitpicked and listed a few flaws of this mv" and the points were in no way hateful/mean, it was respectfully written, but again, downvotes.
Why is everything in this sub so black and white instead of "yes, but also"? If someone offers respectful criticism, it shouldn’t be classified as an overreaction or hate as long as it’s not hateful or untrue, especially with objective things. Two things can be true at once: a group name can be weird but also interesting. I wish people were more accepting of nuanced thoughts rather than sticking to "this or that" type opinions and simply downvoting.

I've been late my whole life, I know some people with adhd somehow manage to be super early, but that has never been me. I just really underestimate how much time everything takes, loose track of time and just forget about appointments even if I checked my calendar in the morning or have it right in front of me on a postit. The only possible way so far is being in a complete freeze mode the whole day before the appointment and just repeat it in my head again and again, but then Im in this horrible self-hatred state the whole day.
My husband is extremely affected by things not going to plan, and he told me again and again how much it hurts him. Not even the part of being there on time but even leaving home at a certain time really matters to him. He never asks me things and I think I never realised how much it affected him, so I really want to be better.
The other day we had a workshop planned and I really wanted to be there on time, set reminders, put it on postit notes, but again, lost track of time and was late. My husband didn't mind much this time, because he also lost track of time, but I still can't forgive myself for this. Today I saw this reel on Instagram saying "If you keep saying them to stop doing it because it's hurting you, and they keep doing it - they don't love you", which sent me down a complete self-hate spiral. Crying while typing this, but can't talk to my husband about this because what if my extreme reaction makes him stop bringing up things that hurt him (and he does have a tendency to shut down and not share emotional side of things), and really he's the victim here and not me. It's not like he's divorcing me either, he's trying to manage it from his side by calling me and sending me reminders before an event (I love him for this, but if Im hyperfixated I won't look at my phone until it's too late). If I was him I would divorce myself because why would you be married to a person that keeps hurting you, and I really have no way of being on time to things.

I truly do love my girlfriend she's the best thing that had ever happened to me but then a while in she cheats on me with 3 guys, we considered it self destructive but it didn't change how it made me feel, she never asked or anything it was just about her and I understand she's a complex person and needs help and I'm glad she's got it, but it hurt me a lot and it just built rage in me for ages and ages and now she's going distanced and we've not called for ages and it's just taking a toll on me, she'd prefer to throw a relationship away then try to just talk, shes not against talking since she posts nearly daily on the app and probably more apps, I'm just unhappy and I've spent months trying to make it work but she won't change

 | This previously owned puzzle is certainly pretty old. I don't know how many owners it had or how many times it was disassembled but there were many pieces that were delaminated and had to be glued back together. One thing was a little irritating; the puzzle was slightly rotated clockwise. If you compare the box Pic and completed puzzle you can see on the left extra leaves near the top and the chimney is cut off at the top. The left duck is where it's shown on the box but the bluish water on the right touches the edge and the soil at the very right bottom is much less that the box pic. Believe it or not this caused problems doing the edges and first couple rows at top and bottom. Unfortunately, this is the one puzzle I was unable to find a decent pic of online. I'm not sure how old this puzzle is but it seems really old. The white clouds are yellowed and stained (looks like tea or coffee was spilled on it). Thankfully all the pieces were there. Like the puzzle I recently posted, this one had pieces that were similar and once again I found myself swapping out incorrectly placed pieces. Alright Apes,
I was out walking my dog, ready to get back home to go to sleep, and then it happened. I did one last check of superstonk to get my dopamine hit that is our community and well, I got more than I asked for. Now I have too much energy to sleep because I am so fucking hyped for what I found. So here I am.
This beautiful post popped up at nearly midnight my time.
When it said watch in reverse, I had mixed emotions because one of my favorite post was the one with the opening to the White Stripes glitch mob remix. Go watch the video if you haven’t already. That’s one of my favorite songs for very personal reasons and the idea that GME was about to unleash something that caused a glitch was very exciting to me. I wanted that to be the foreshadowing that RK left us with.
But I like every other GME theory I read, it consumes me. I’m obsessed. So what the heck, let’s go watch everything in reverse.
Lucky for me I realized very quickly that when you go to the X iphone app and watch the latest video in full screen, you can just swipe up to see the next video. So, the next hour of my night was planned out.
That was an hour ago. I am so hyped about what I saw that I’ve decided to sit down and write out the my whole interpretation of what I saw. I don’t have answers for every single post but there does seem to be a theme that matches the theory that these are meant to watch in reverse.

One last things before I get started. I think DFV has been here all along. I think he has read all of the DD and I think he made his memes with all of that in mind. I highly doubt he knows anything for sure but is just a fan of the DD. Just like I am. And there is one DD I fell in love with from the first moment I read it. I was out walking my dog, ready to get back home to go to sleep, and then it happened. I did one last check of superstonk to get my dopamine hit that is our community and well, I got more than I asked for. Now I have too much energy to sleep because I am so fucking hyped for what I found. So here I am.
This beautiful post popped up at nearly midnight my time.
When it said watch in reverse, I had mixed emotions because one of my favorite post was the one with the opening to the White Stripes glitch mob remix. Go watch the video if you haven’t already. That’s one of my favorite songs for very personal reasons and the idea that GME was about to unleash something that caused a glitch was very exciting to me. Rabies PEP Needed?
We live in Harvard, MA bascially in the middle of a giant forest next to a large lake. We have 2 dogs and we let them outside, unsupervised on a daily basis. We suspect that on occassion they may eat dead animals or things outside. There are certainly a good number of bats, foxes, racoons, and coyotes in the area.
The dogs were last vaccinated for rabies in early January of 2022. So it has been about 2.5 years since their last rabbies vaccination.
Last night at around 5pm one of the dogs jumped up quickly a licked our 14 month old daughter a few times inside her mouth (french kiss 🤢). We dragged him off but he definitely got saliva inside her mouth. To top it off our 14 month old has a cut on her lip from biting it accidentally as she is teething and not used to her teeth yet.
Dogs have been acting normal, not sick or exhibiting odd behavior. Have not noticed any bites or bite marks, but they have long hair so we wouldnt see something minor like a bat bite. And as mentioned, its possible they may be eating dead animals when we let them out unsupervised to roam around the forest.
Any doctors on this subreddit, or rabies treatment specialists, would post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for rabies exposure be recommended in this case?

2024.05.19 11:03 Objective-Teach-9371 Was I put under PIP unfairly?
Hey there, I am a dog handler who took some time off to consider my poor mental health. At 4:50PM I was given notice that I was invited for a Performance Improvement Plan next week and will be reviewed Monday and Tuesday with the possibility of the problems raised changing before Wednesday (when the meeting is set).
The problems laid out in the proposal are extremely vague and to do with general dog control and a hoarding mentality (focusing too much on the dogs under my direct care instead of the ones under the care of other coworkers). I wasn't aware these were areas that I was failing in. Nowhere is there any mention of specific instances.
The business owner is the one carrying out this process, they are not on site day-to-day (maybe once every couple of months). I didn't know my day-to-day manager had these issues with my performance. Though I know the dogs aren't always obedient and in the employee documentation is explained that dogs should listen to a multitude of commands and never disobey, I feel as if this is unrealistic. I look after 10-16 different dogs each day (I pick and drop them off), as well as the 20-30 other dogs (and 2 people doing the same job I am). Some dogs come consistently 2-3 times a week, others are once a week or every other week. I am trained as a dog trainer and my role is a "handler".
I realize that I am more nervous around the owner, there has been a lot of problem with dogs being too noisy (a specific person/s relating to a nearby retirement home complained to the point of the council coming in and monitoring us, we passed an official inspection but it's become a hot-button issue). The owner expects the dogs to not bark at all which the manager and my coworkers don't even attempt when the owner is not around as it's not feasible (the manager cannot stand up for us though).
Another problem that is laid out is the lack of me being an "Alpha". I'm not sure how well versed you are with contemporary dog training so I apologize, but being an Alpha is widely considered an outdated way of treating dogs based on incorrect beliefs about packs of wolves(as well as incorrect understanding of what "dominance" means when it comes to dogs). As wikipedia mentions all professional dogs are considered to use positive reinforcement, it's what the best practices of the MPI for dog handling recommends, the SPCA and the Association for Dog Professional Trainers of New Zealand (PIP mentions that dog treats cannot be used, which is the most popular accepted form of behavioral management).
My owner has no certifications that I know of, and occasionally hires a "dog sage" (has no certifications, possibly worked as a vet nurse, or at least around them at one point) and they both consider being an Alpha as okay (and enjoy "dominating" dogs). They They have both encouraged me to physically hurt the animals to get them to "submit" this includes pinching ears, squeezing paws to the point of it being "uncomfortable" for the dogs, as well as kneeing dogs when they jump up.
I assume this is a point of contention as their public documents emphasizes that they are not trainers (nor anybody that works here) and that no physical discipline techniques will be used with handling. However are internal employee documents list the methods I mentioned before, and I have been encouraged to do this to train the dogs. (There is a mention in the employee documents that mention a handler can use the methods they think is best, which, along with my manager agreeing with my methods is probably why I've managed to work here for a couple of years). I've mentioned my discomfort at these techniques but it is seen as cowardice or over-empathy instead of what I was learned to do during my course certification and have read about since.
I've been nervous around my boss ever since the first meeting when they visited me and repeatability shouted at me to raise my voice at a dog (even though the internal documents say that a raised voice should not be used). They sent an email to everybody later on saying sorry for being harsh as they were experiencing family problems.

The problems laid out in the proposal are extremely vague and to do with general dog control and a hoarding mentality (focusing too much on the dogs under my direct care instead of the ones under the care of other coworkers). I wasn't aware these were areas that I was failing in. Nowhere is there any mention of specific instances.
The business owner is the one carrying out this process, they are not on site day-to-day (maybe once every couple of months). I didn't know my day-to-day manager had these issues with my performance. Though I know the dogs aren't always obedient and in the employee documentation is explained that dogs should listen to a multitude of commands and never disobey, I feel as if this is unrealistic. I look after 10-16 different dogs each day (I pick and drop them off), as well as the 20-30 other dogs (and 2 people doing the same job I am). Some dogs come consistently 2-3 times a week, others are once a week or every other week. I am trained as a dog trainer and my role is a "handler".
I realize that I am more nervous around the owner, there has been a lot of problem with dogs being too noisy (a specific person/s relating to a nearby retirement home complained to the point of the council coming in and monitoring us, we passed an official inspection but it's become a hot-button issue). The owner expects the dogs to not bark at all which the manager and my coworkers don't even attempt when the owner is not around as it's not feasible (the manager cannot stand up for us though).
Another problem that is laid out is the lack of me being an "Alpha". I'm not sure how well versed you are with contemporary dog training so I apologize, but being an Alpha is widely considered an outdated way of treating dogs based on incorrect beliefs about packs of wolves(as well as incorrect understanding of what "dominance" means when it comes to dogs). As wikipedia mentions all professional dogs are considered to use positive reinforcement, it's what the best practices of the MPI for dog handling recommends, the SPCA and the Association for Dog Professional Trainers of New Zealand (PIP mentions that dog treats cannot be used, which is the most popular accepted form of behavioral management).
My owner has no certifications that I know of, and occasionally hires a "dog sage" (has no certifications, possibly worked as a vet nurse, or at least around them at one point) and they both consider being an Alpha as okay (and enjoy "dominating" dogs). They They have both encouraged me to physically hurt the animals to get them to "submit" this includes pinching ears, squeezing paws to the point of it being "uncomfortable" for the dogs, as well as kneeing dogs when they jump up.
I assume this is a point of contention as their public documents emphasizes that they are not trainers (nor anybody that works here) and that no physical discipline techniques will be used with handling. However are internal employee documents list the methods I mentioned before, and I have been encouraged to do this to train the dogs. (There is a mention in the employee documents that mention a handler can use the methods they think is best, which, along with my manager agreeing with my methods is probably why I've managed to work here for a couple of years). I've mentioned my discomfort at these techniques but it is seen as cowardice or over-empathy instead of what I was learned to do during my course certification and have read about since.
I've been nervous around my boss ever since the first meeting when they visited me and repeatability shouted at me to raise my voice at a dog (even though the internal documents say that a raised voice should not be used). They sent an email to everybody later on saying sorry for being harsh as they were experiencing family problems.

- Can I ask for the PIP parts to be more specific? I mean how is "knowing dog behavior" and "being an alpha" supposed to be defended? There were no specific instances where I have failed anything mentioned in the any of these documents. I realise a PIP should be more exact but how realistic is that, aren't a lot of job responsibilities vague?
- If the problems laid out are just from my owners sparse observations, is that okay?
- Part of the training suggested is with the owner to improve my ability to control dogs, I don't think I'll feel comfortable around them enough to improve. and I know I definitely won't agree with some of their techniques, can I ask for them to pay for an accredited trainer? (as well as only they're only suggesting having a day of training with them every 2 weeks, then being reviewed after a 6 weeks).
- Should I bring up my concerns about the problems they've laid out before the meeting?
- Can the concerns be valid against me if they involve problems that other employees are going through? (like keeping them quiet).
- If this situation doesn't go well I'm quite worried about what I'll do, I understand WINZ standown is 13 weeks for quitting or being dismissed. Can this be reduced for my situation? I don't have any savings to last weeks without a wage. I hope I've misjudged the situation and I will get a "good" PIP, I'm just really worried right now.

I know there are already a few of these posts, but as the title says, i'm trying to implement 2 opnsense firewalls (1 master 1 backup) with the 2 isp i have (1 Primary 1 backup), somehow there is not a single video tutorial or really detailed guide on how to achieve this. The is my first post ever, I wanted to share this with you all because it was just too strange not to talk about and I really want to know if this could have a deeper meaning. I also very rarely dream. This was the first I’d had this month.
I woke up in my dream in a crooked version of this world, the walls of my bedroom decrepit and the wallpaper peeling off, some mould had formed on them as well. I look outside to see a dark, moonless night, the street lamps were all that illuminated my street. A deep sea green fog covered the outside and there were millions of eyes in the sky glaring at me, each with different emotions, they had replaced the stars. I walk up to my cracked mirror and see nothing but a silhouette of myself, my eyes glowing white. Behind me were closed mouths, when I looked at them they began to whisper strange things to me I could not understand, they stopped when I walked away from the mirror. I walk outside into the street to a world just as run down as my house. The people were what looked to be lifeless husks, hunched over and looking down to the floor, unmoving as if they were some kind of robots whose batteries needed to be refilled. I know my street pretty well so I was able o make my way through the fog, I turned on my phone which I brought with me and the screen lit up, reading “This reality is what everything looks likes under the veil, you should not be here. You need to wake up. WAKE UP.”

This might seem like a plothole, but it actually isn't. Sid didn't know Strelok personally:

About Sakharov - There are plenty of possible explanations for the fact that he doesn't recognize Strelok, but the closest we have to an official explanation is included in the design document of the original storyline of the prequel, where it's said that Strelok's face was bandaged at the time:
"Strelok, whose face is still covered with bandages, comes to Sakharov and tells that he is planning a trip to the CNPP."
Of course, it's not really canon, but it still works.
Why won't military just bomb the Zone?
First of all, they already tried but failed:

Only SoC presents this idea. Neither Clear Sky nor Call of Pripyat mentioned anything about Zone's expansion. In fact, Hermann in CoP just said that Zone is evolving, while Loki directly said that it isn't getting bigger:

What happened to Scar?
There can be many answers to this question. Scar's fate could have turned out in many ways - perhaps, if the brainwashing process failed, he became simply zombified; if it was successful, he could've died while being transported in the death truck; if this didn't happen, he had a clearly defined task to perform, and could die while trying to do it; if he survived, he might still be wandering around the Zone as an amnesiac.
It's also possible that he simply died during the emission, or was captured but somehow managed to overcome the brainwashing process and escaped from whatever laboratory it was taking place in.
Monolith's weaponry. How do they have so many guns?
It can be partially explained by a couple of things. First thing that should be noted is that Monolith before trilogy used to be different faction. And lastly, C-Consciousness Representative said "From the moment the Zone was formed, many people have tried to get to its center". Many people seem to think that Brain Scorcher only turns people into zombies, but it seems that it was also capable of converting them to Monolith:

About their suits - there can be more than 1 answer.
It's interesting to point out that Monolith suit was located in lab X-18. Either the faction stashed them there, or they were here before. A possible explanation could be that such suits were used by guards of the secret facilities in the Zone before the 2nd disaster

Lastly, Yantar loner NPCs in Clear Sky mention in their dialogue mention very interesting thing:
"I heard a whole faction went missing in the Zone. You ever heard of Monolith? Well, they used to protect the Zone from others, but they made a move towards the center right before the Emission. Nobody has heard from them since, but recently some real aggressive stalkers have been attacking from where the Scorcher is, killing everyone and asking no questions. I know because I saw them myself around the military warehouses, and I reckon they might be those same Monolithians who disappeared. It wouldn't surprise me, because their uniforms looked real similar." Other than a fact that Monolith faction of the trilogy had members from older Monolith who wore similar uniform, dead bodies of Monolithians in Clear Sky, that are scattered over the Zone very well could be the dead bodies of older Monolith faction

What happened to Scar?
There can be many answers to this question. Scar's fate could have turned out in many ways - perhaps, if the brainwashing process failed, he became simply zombified; if it was successful, he could've died while being transported in the death truck; if this didn't happen, he had a clearly defined task to perform, and could die while trying to do it; if he survived, he might still be wandering around the Zone as an amnesiac.
It's also possible that he simply died during the emission, or was captured but somehow managed to overcome the brainwashing process and escaped from whatever laboratory it was taking place in.
Monolith's weaponry. How do they have so many guns?
It can be partially explained by a couple of things. First thing that should be noted is that Monolith before trilogy used to be different faction. Second thing is that even rookies know that they gotta get better equipment before going deeper into the Zone:

And lastly, C-Consciousness Representative said "From the moment the Zone was formed, many people have tried to get to its center". Many people seem to think that Brain Scorcher only turns people into zombies, but it seems that it was also capable of converting them to Monolith:
"Brothers, as we were patrolling the outskirts of the Dark Forest we came upon an unfaithful loner. We did not kill him, seeing as he was already on his way to conversion, although he was still half-way in his animal state... About their suits - there can be more than 1 answer.
It's interesting to point out that Monolith suit was located in lab X-18. Either the faction stashed them there, or they were here before. A possible explanation could be that such suits were used by guards of the secret facilities in the Zone before the 2nd disaster

Lastly, Yantar loner NPCs in Clear Sky mention in their dialogue mention very interesting thing:
"I heard a whole faction went missing in the Zone. You ever heard of Monolith? Well, they used to protect the Zone from others, but they made a move towards the center right before the Emission. Nobody has heard from them since, but recently some real aggressive stalkers have been attacking from where the Scorcher is, killing everyone and asking no questions. I know because I saw them myself around the military warehouses, and I reckon they might be those same Monolithians who disappeared. It wouldn't surprise me, because their uniforms looked real similar." Other than a fact that Monolith faction of the trilogy had members from older Monolith who wore similar uniform, dead bodies of Monolithians in Clear Sky, that are scattered over the Zone very well could be the dead bodies of older Monolith faction

Hi, everybody,
I will try to make this a quick post. I am currently majoring in Philosophy at my local CC here in USA, CA. I should be done in roughly half a year now, ready to transfer wherever to study either the same thing, or something related. I am not entirely sure what I would like to do with my life yet. I will likely try on many of my interests like articles of clothing, not putting too much worry into how much time I am wasting, or whether they will make me a live-able wage.
What I do know is that I am tired of living in the US, and I kind of desire taking a break from school. I would ideally like to work a simple job, like a bartending or tour guide gig, in Europe or Asia. I have citizenship in both the US and Ireland, so obtaining a work visa in Europe is not an issue. Where should I go? What should I do? I am seriously canvassing for advice, since I am pretty clueless. I know that I want out of the house and away from my studies, and ideally away from my country.

We just bought a house. Downstairs we have this living room with open kitchen, so just a very large room. Basically everything is up to change, blank canvas. Only one thing we want to keep: our green couch.
So we also want to get a new kitchen and the idea is to make an L-shaped kitchen. So one part against the wall like it is now, and the other leg of the L 90 degrees from where the fridge currently is. So that one leg is in the middle of the room. The idea is that we create a bit of a separation between the kitchen and the living room area.
We will also remove the big table in the middle to make it more open. We only keep the table under the chairs to create an eating corner. And obviously many more plans, like art, chairs with the couch in the living area, art on the walls, and also possibly a new floor.
So our first step is getting a new kitchen (and also floor). But to do that, we need to decide the color scheme of the room. We were thinking about two colors: one for the living room area and one for the side of the kitchen. Thay way, we can create a little separation of those two parts of the room. But in the details we can still corporate both colors so it all fits together. That's the idea.

So what would you do for the kitchen? Yellow? Purple? A completely different color we haven't considered yet? Or would you make different plans? We are open to everything.

So as of recent game updates and into the light content, I have been looking at it with curiosity as it's featured quite often and all we've had of it was concept arts and attacks. So I cannot help but want to share my view on what I think it's inspired from.
First I want to address the disciples' root burst and tech packs as I don't think it's really tree roots so much as something akin to dendrites or filaments that burst out from damage as I feel it's like how Eramis "died" at the end of beyond light's campaign where darkness surges out and basically consumes or encases it's wielder.
Now then I would like to say that I think the black fleet was built purely paracausally as it fits the structures and general rendition.
As for what I think it is in nature I'd say blackbody radiation, gravity, and fractal geometry with the obvious connection of quantum physics.
Now where does rhulk's line on universal strings lie even though it clearly isn't addressing Strand? I'd put it within the Cosmic Web and Energy Filaments wheelhouse.
Now as defined In cosmology, galaxy filaments are the largest known structures in the universe, consisting of walls of galactic superclusters. These massive, thread-like formations can commonly reach 50/h to 80/h Megaparsecs (160 to 260 megalight-years)—with the largest found to date being the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall at around 3 gigaparsecs (9.8 Gly) in length—and form the boundaries between voids. Due to the accelerating expansion of the universe, the individual clusters of gravitationally bound galaxies are what make up galaxy filaments
Now as to where that establishes rhulk's clone, umbral suffocation, and the taken's blighting by sterile neutrinos I wouldn't know.
