2024.05.26 19:56 TheHighRunner Input sometimes not registering when dodging in perfect timing on Steam Deck

Right TriggeR2 at times does not register your dodge, but the devs may not have accounted for Bayo's iframes when it got ported for 60fps, or maybe because of input/frame delay, etc.
If playing Bayo 1 or 2 on Steam Deck:
1- Start the game
2- Press Steam button to head into Controller Settings
3- Edit Layout Triggers
4- Under RIGHT TRIGGER BEHAVIOR, highlight R2 Full Pull and register the input as your gamepad Right Trigger
5- Now highlight the "gear" on the right side and change Regular Press Start Press
6- Highlight the same exact "gear" again, then "Add extra command". Register that new command as the exact same Right Trigger that you used from the steps above.
7- Highlight "Command 2" and go to that gear setting. Change Regular Press Release Press
Now you'll be pressing 2x more for iframes (and more easily triggering Bat Within). You can also use this same method for Bayo's gun shooting to reduce risk of inflammation (Isla Del Sol rocket ship).
Why do this? For aged gamers/accessibility/redcude risk of injury for all players and/or beneficial for long term/self care.
I recommend leaving Soft Pull alone as it seems to interfere.

2024.05.22 17:53 PoderAvanzado Issues with first steps

Issues with first steps
I'm having trouble getting started with this augmented reality thing with THREE.js. I can't open the camera with any device, neither Android nor IOS. Not even the examples from the official Three.js site, they all show a black screen and do not show any errors in the console. Do you know if I'm doing something wrong or if there is a problem with WebXR? It seems very strange to me that no mobile device allows me to see the official examples.

2024.05.20 05:32 infinitepaisleys need help with layout

heres my site: https://paisleycore.neocities.org/paisleysradiohome
I'm looking to find a way where I can use iframes or something similar so that the outer layout is on a seperate html document than the main portion in the centre. I want to use this site as a blog, so the main portion will change but the layout will not. Having a layout seperate means I can easily add pages + details. Please let me know if you have any tips or resources.

2024.05.13 21:25 airborness Tips on creating an embedded google sheets on a webpage to appear as customer order form?

I have embedded a google sheets file on my page and I am trying to create it to appear as much as possible as a fillable form without it appearing too much like an excel document.
The image below is the best that I've basically been able to get it to be. As you can see, the page is empty, since I haven't added anything to it yet. So my question that I am mainly focusing on the layout and format of the embedded google sheets itself. From what I have read and understand is that it'll never be 100% perfect trying to do this on google sheets, so I am ok with trying to work within its limitations.
So far, the best I've been able to do is:
Things that I am trying to further do, but can't seem to figure out:

2024.05.03 21:19 JesseLiStarseed WARNING: On the use of 3rd-Party IMVU Apps, Tools, and Products

WARNING: On the use of 3rd-Party IMVU Apps, Tools, and Products
IN BRIEF:
THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU USE THEM !!!
Back History:
There have been all kinds of various neat codes and tools to use offered by well-known "creators" on IMVU, as well as 3rd-party websites that are not affiliated with IMVU ...going as far back as 15 or more years ago. "Avatar Web Pages" on the older portion of IMVU's website were very popular back then, and they were basically the equivalent of "MySpace" for everyone on IMVU. Now, it hasn't disappeared. It's all still there and exists, and everyone can still design and use it, ...but with the introduction of the newer part of IMVU's website (NEXT), and the newer Desktop/Beta site and platform layout, less people tend to visit or use the avatar web pages, groups, and "Pulse" Announcement board. ...but back then, being able to really "fix-up" your IMVU avatar web page was a HUGE thing. Several creators had their own personal websites offering "html sandbox codes" and tools that could display all kinds of things on avatar pages that went well beyond what IMVU's normal tools on the page would allow or do. Way back then, I don't think IMVU was too concerned about this. It wasn't breaching or harming the platform or anyone's individual security, so using these codes and tools was a neat and great thing. It was also being used "within" IMVU's site and platform. GAF CODES was, and still is, one of the most popular sites for this.
As the years rolled by, other things were developed by people that could "see" information on IMVU's platform that you couldn't see or discern directly from IMVU's website or official client programs, .,..things like hidden contents of outfits, avatar name history, birthdays, alarms to let people know when they were going in a room, history of who was in a room, ...even info on private rooms, etc. IMVU is mainly at fault here, as they gave out their API publically, which allowed for these tools to breach their platform and get this information.
One of the oldest 3rd party sites massively used by people was called "The Emporium", and it allowed people to do much of the above. ...but with the strain of gf & bf relationships and marriages in IMVU being what they are with partners cheating on each other, keeping "tabs" on where people were in IMVU, ...as well as people's curiousity to know what people were wearing (so they could probably buy it themselves), ...it's use increased. No one even thought twice about whether its use could be against IMVU's TOS (Terms of Service).
Since everyone was "using" these 3rd party site tools without repercussions, more and more people started using them, and no one thought there was anything wrong or bad about it. The Emporium was not the only 3rd party website that offered tools like this. To my knowledge, there were at least 2 or 3 others.
Aside from this, other online sites and servers surfaced as well, more specific to "Black Market" creations or items not sold in the official IMVU Shop, but somehow apparently able to be "moved into the platform" and placed in rooms.
The Past Several Years:
IMVU strengthened it's platform infrastructure over all this period of time, including new security programs & algorithms to detect data traffic, IP addresses, and even to identify associated avatar accounts. Then in 2021, IMVU started "permanently disabling" a large number of avatar accounts for "Use of an Unauthorized Client". Their automated scripts for detecting this are active, and they have been and are still doing this.
The sad part of all this is that people still religiously use these sites and tools to see information and data while outside of IMVU's platform. Interestingly, several years ago, The Emporium changed websites and renamed their site "FIND.VU".
On one hand, IMVU gives out their API publically, but on the other hand they tighten-down their security and disable people for using an 'unauthorized client' (which really is what IMVU's API is to some degree). This doesn't make much sense, but I think IMVU is a lot "smarter" than what people give them credit for. It almost appears they're "purposely" keeping aspects of their platform open as they always have ....perhaps to track people, or ...maybe to learn or understand how their API or other code is being used in specific ways, or perhaps just collecting data for improving it.
2024:
Several months ago "FIND.VU" announced that they were completely shutting down their website on June 1st. Yet, another very large 3rd party site is also getting more use called "CYBER.VU", in which I've heard many people are going to, registering on and using.
In Conclusion...
IMVU has been permanently disabling accounts for "Use of an Unauthorized Client". Whether you think it is allowable, or not .....or even whether it actually IS allowable, or not, .....IMVU has the right to pretty much do whatever they want to, anytime they want to, and they don't have to give you any warnings, "specifics" or explanations. All I'm suggesting is for everyone to think and use caution before making the decision to use them. If you use anything other the software/clients provided by IMVU, I think you're taking a risk.
I would Not Use Any 3rd-Party Websites or the Tools They Provide to see or do things in IMVU you shouldn't be seeing or doing. Their use is most likely against IMVU's "Terms of Service". Regardless of whether you think it is, or not, ...IMVU has the right to and could "permanently disable" any avatar account or "blacklist" any IP they identify.
You should Only Use the OFFICIAL SOFTWARE or APP FROM IMVU to interact with IMVU, downloaded "directly" from the IMVU Website (Classic Client or Desktop Client), or from the GOOGLE PLAYSTORE or APPLE STORE (Phone App).

2024.05.03 05:22 radiationcat196 why did my layout break?

https://radiationcat.neocities.org/home
i used a premade layout with iframes for my sites layout, and it was working perfectly fine yesterday, but it suddenly broke! im on firefox, and that might have something to do with it because when i checked it on chrome it looks NOTHING like how it looks right now on firefox. i have no clue what happened to it! i made some slight changes to the layout(added pagedolls, a few other buttons to the navigation section, and changed some pixel values in the css to make some things bigger, though that didnt seem to do anything when i checked it at the time, and i reverted them all). can someone help me out? i'm not a newbie at html/css, but im definitely not a master and i rely on premade layouts a lot. im better at editing html than writing it by hand.

2024.04.25 15:44 agulhinha WP - ACF & Custom Theme - How to display existing custom fields from other pages of my website?

I'm interested in reusing a custom field from one page on another page while preserving its style and structure. Essentially, I want to replicate a field from one ACF group to another, ensuring that it fits seamlessly into the layout and design of the target page within the custom theme.
The website in question was developed by a WordPress developer utilizing Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and a custom theme.
The developer has structured the theme's code with separate templates for each page, defining the layout and design elements.

About us code

Who We Are

'.$key['titulo'].' '.$key['texto'].'
'; } ?>

Fortaleza/CE
Caucaia/CE
Parnaíba/PI

'.$key['item'].'
'; } ?>
Additionally, he created custom field groups for each page within ACF, using labels, names, and field types to organize the content.
Within the theme's code, the developer retrieves the values of each custom field from the respective ACF groups associated with each page and integrates them into the template files.

2024.04.24 13:47 oricarium Editing the width and height of the youtube player.

I'm not fancy with coding but I wanna to change the resolution of the youtube player, so the player buttons won't get cropped by one of my uBO filters that revert youtube to "old layout". I tried to write some but can't figure out what to do.
This was my attempt
www.youtube.com##+js(ytd-player.config.iframe_width="1280"height="720", true)
I tried to peek at \"metadata\" to write the filter.

I've been trying to use the 09_camera_jpeg_capture example to learn exactly how the Jetson Nano 'works' when it comes to capturing images using Libargus and it has been pretty painful up to this point.
Even more so since the moderators on the NVIDIA forums hasn't been much help in my opinion.
For reference sake : https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/opencv-mat-object-and-saving-image-data-09-camera-jepg-capture/289379/2
So long story short, the following are my goal(s) with the 09_camera_jpeg_capture example
Below are the two functions that I've been focusing on
 bool ConsumerThread::threadExecute() { IEGLOutputStream *iEglOutputStream = interface_cast(m_stream); IFrameConsumer *iFrameConsumer = interface_cast(m_consumer); void *pdata = NULL; /* Wait until the producer has connected to the stream. */ CONSUMER_PRINT("Waiting until producer is connected...\n"); if (iEglOutputStream->waitUntilConnected() != STATUS_OK) ORIGINATE_ERROR("Stream failed to connect."); CONSUMER_PRINT("Producer has connected; continuing.\n"); while (true) { /* Acquire a frame. */ UniqueObj frame(iFrameConsumer->acquireFrame()); IFrame *iFrame = interface_cast

2024.04.14 07:37 sepehrkiller [Tutorial / Filter list] How to disable new Youtube's Experimental Redesigned UI and get the old UI back

Update 2024/04/25 - Github is here and you can Import the .txt file to uBlockOrigin directly from Github (sorry for the late Github page, had some personal issues) https://github.com/sepehrkilleFixYoutubeUI
Update 2024/04/25 - seems like Youtube has disabled this Experiment on my main YT account, is it also disabled for you or do you still have the Experimental UI? if you still have it, you can help by sending your Experimental Filters to me or posting them publicly (some of these filters can give some information / metadata about your monitor's resolution i guess but no Personal Information, i would say there is no privacy risk in sharing them but i'm not sure)
v0.2 - Updated on 2024/04/16 - added more filters, edited comments to be more user friendly, Github soon
I have to say that this is not Perfect and is a work in progress, I'm trying to make the perfect filter list for this situation, so if you know something that's useful let us know in the comments and i will edit my post
here is the Filter list(lines starting with ! are comments which means they don't do anything, they are just there to explain to you what the following Filters after the comment do)
! ======={ Fix YouTube UI }======= ! Bring back old Youtube UI Layout youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS.kevlar_watch_grid, false) ! How to use this
click on uBlock Origin icon from top bar > click on Cogs icon (Open dashboard) if you don't have it click on More V a few times and you'll see it
from uBlock Origin's dashboard go to My Filters and then copy and paste the filters above there, make sure every single filter is on a separate line

will make a Github page for this in a few days so you can just add the list as a filter and get it automatically updated if that's what you want

Slidebean

Slidebean is a tool on the internet that changes the way people make presentations. With just a few clicks, users can make strong presentations that leave a big impression. The special thing about Slidebean is that it separates making the content from designing the slides. This means you can focus on what’s most important – your message – while Slidebean makes sure the design looks good.
Slidebean is great for small to medium businesses that might not have a design team. Even if you don’t know how to design, you can make slides that look professional because Slidebean has design templates, nice fonts, and good color options. It’s not just like PowerPoint or Keynote; it’s better.
Top features of Slidebean:

Prezi

Prezi is a strong AI presentation maker that changes your regular slides into presentations that have an impact. It’s not just about adding slides and text; it’s about making a story that holds your audience’s attention. With Prezi, you can give your presentation a dynamic flow, making it more interesting and memorable.
But Prezi doesn’t give you a lot of choices to change things after you pick a template. This means that while you can make a great presentation quickly, you might not have a lot of control over how it looks. Even with that, Prezi is good for making a professional presentation fast and easy.
Top features of Prezi:

Kroma

Kroma is a popular AI tool for presentations used by big organizations like Apple and eBay. It gives you access to lots of creative things and many ways to show data, so you can make a presentation that looks great. Whether you’re showing data, talking about a project, or sharing a new idea, Kroma can help you do it.
One great thing about Kroma is that it works well with MS PowerPoint and Apple’s Keynote. This means you can easily use your existing presentations and make them better with Kroma’s strong features.

2024.03.30 22:37 taco_cocinero Vuepress build causes interactivity to die

Hello, I am a backend developer mainly so whenever I need to make a front end I usually just use vanilla JavaScript.
This time, I am writing a whole grammar of the dead language Tupi Antigo. I decided to use Vue press to make it as it seemed straightforward. So far is hasn't been to difficult and I've been able to get my Skeleton and interactivity working well within the npm build dev command.
I have a custom component called PyodideLoader which I have added to the layout. It's an iframe that loads outside and communicates with the main page via messaging events.
The other part of the equation is a py component which I use to process custom markdown which is specific to the grammar of this language I'm writing about (hence the custom component to take advantage of the Python library which conjugates verbs in this language. I want the user to be able to complete interactive exercises and check their work with this python library, within the client side of the browser)
I have everything working perfectly in the Dev server, everything loads well and the interactivity is fast and amazing.
Then when I build it and deploy to GitHub pages.... Not even the built-in sidebar of the default theme works. The tabs don't collapse or open.
As a backend developer, it blows my mind how the dev environment can be allowed to behave so differently from the build environment. From what I can tell, it seems like the SSR that happens during the build command is causing the interactivity to be rendered out of the final bundle.
The most frustrating part of this is the fact that the code works 100% in the Dev env, I just want to be able to commit those files and not care about performance, as this application should be handled almost completely with client side rendering.
After 3 days of trying everything I could think of, I'm finally at my witts end and am seeking some advice. Is vuepress simply incapable of this interactivity? Is the iframe breaking it? Why does it work so well in Dev? Is there a way for me to deploy the files generated in the dev environment instead of the build compilation?
I'll take any help I can get, and if you guys need to look at any further code please let me know.
Thank you in advance for the help!
UPDATE:
I bit the bullet and created a new project and copied over my changes one by one to try to figure out what was causing the error.
I never found it, but I now have production building a site which works perfectly in my GitHub pages.
I guess something in my node_modles or something somewhere under the hood must have gotten corrupted or I edited something and forgot. I'm not sure, but I'm glad to put it behind me.

2024.03.29 00:55 Chance_Hovercraft257 How to render html in google slides or powerpoint

I created the html file using a drag and drop program intended to build html files for emails. I am trying to render the html file within google slides or microsoft powerpoint because I need my team to be able to collaboratively review the content before I can send the email. I can copy paste the html content into the email but I can't copy and paste the content into google slides, for example. I've seen people do this before but I don't know how they did it.

We are in the process of transitioning to a new wellness platform with a number of new and improved features with an expected go-live date in the summer. This transition means that effective , the  online platform, and the mobile app, will no longer be available. The wellness platform is just one aspect of the Program, and the other components of the program will remain available during the transition period.

During this transition, you will still be able to access the website where you can:

  • Sign-up for weekly online fitness classes and monthly online cooking demonstrations
  • Access information about discounts on fitness trackers, gear, and gym memberships

Be on the lookout for additional activities like an upcoming team challenge and special on-site fitness classes that will take place in the coming months. We will share additional details about the new wellness platform closer to the go-live date.

2024.03.26 01:48 _mindblasian [PC] [Early 2000s] keep thinking about this browser mmo from the GaiaOnline Era

I can't stop trying to remember this game from so long ago. It was during the GaiaOnline era. Not Habbo, IMVU, or Meez. But I did play those at the time too. It might have had 'cube' in the name? Or 'mini' or both tbh. You have this cute avatar you can dress up and you just run around to different chat rooms in like a MapleStory layout. But less fancy. The menu/friends list? Was in like a notebook style screen.
I just keep thinking about it every so often. I want to figure it out so bad so I can stop thinking about it lol

2024.03.24 00:45 Pretrowillbetaken some leads i haven't seen people talk about

some leads i haven't seen people talk about
i was trying to find out who sam and jade are, and i found a couple interesting things. i was trying to find out new URLS in the website (since that's how i found kinitopet.com/games ). and while doing so, i looked at console and found a couple things i wanted to share. first, in kinitopet.com/games, it seems to try and load this audio. secondly, might be a bit late here, but i still haven't found anyone (including myself) use the ▲̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏̏ signs from kinitopet.com/404 . and lastly, as seen in the image, there's this weird iframe that gets loaded when you go into the kinitopet.com/404. at first i thought this was just a loading screen, but then i noticed it's also supposed to run this audio, which doesn't seem like something a loading screen would do, so there could be more with this code.
just wanted to share this cause i don't have enough free time to truly help with the ARG, but there seems to be a TON of things that i haven't seen anybody talk about
