 | Well after owning a c3 and c5 whilst living in America over a decade ago I decided to bite the bullet and buy one in my home country Australia. As we never sold vettes new here (except for the last couple of years) everything has to be imported or you buy one that someone has already gone to the effort to bring over. After a few months of searching I came across a nice 1971 , yes it’s the small engine and yep an auto as well :( so not everyone’s ideal choice but as I only wanted a cruiser as I find thrashing a 50+ year old car only leads to problems and if I wanted fast I wouldn’t be selecting a 50 year old car … the auto … well again not everyone’s choice but as it’s a LHD car I would need my right hand to change gears etc , I’m a veteran with a few issues and feeling and using my right arm is one of them … so auto it is ! Lol I have a bit of cleaning up to do and a few hours to put in for maintenance etc but overall I’m happy. Buyer thought it had been a yellow or black car … maybe it has been resprayed many years ago but from what I can see it looks like the normal crappy corvette paint job and the trim tag backs me up , owner thought it was numbers matching … quick check and it is infact numbers matching. So as far as I can tell it’s a fairly original vette 🤷♂️ let’s hope it goes over the pits here tomorrow with no issues so it can be registered and on the road ! submitted by nikecollector13 to Corvette [link] [comments] |

Greetings Reddit!
I want to get my hands on a 3D Resin Printer to go the next step in my 3D Printing Adventure and the printer I want to get my Hands on is the Elegoo Mars 3 Pro. The Printer is within my budget and it seems to be a printer that completly satisfies my needs and people say he is beginner friendly. Now as this is my first resin printer ever I have some questions. Do I need other machines such as a cleaning machine for the resin? If so would it be wise to take waterwashable resin? (because the printer basicly maxes out my budget) Is waterwashable resin denying me details on the prints? Basicly what are the steps before and after the printer has done its job, besides feeding it the stl files? What kind of preperation does the printer need before a print? What do I have to do after a print is finished until I can savely start priming and painting the miniatures it printed?
A lot of questions from a Noob, hopefully someone can help me a bit

2024.05.19 11:46 and_thats_ok Product to put in the water of a pond to fix leaks ?
I have a small water pond it's a plastic pot that was used to transport a young tree. it had some cracks I repaired with hot glue, then 4 layers acryl paint inside and out, then 2 fat layers spirit based varnish inside and out. Visually the whole thing is closed. no cracks or holes. Still there is a micro leak on bottom. I cant see where it comes out, because of the water it is too heavy to tilt to look underneath. was thinking to empty it, make plastic seal and put air pressure to see leak with soap water. then thought I will have to fix the leak anyhow, why need to look where it is, cant I use some product or powder I put in the water that will fill up the leak on the way out? maybe some cement?

I won't make this post too long cuz even my reddit posts get banned.
All I will say is that, everything in my life has gone WRONG. I was banned from happiness, from YouTube, from jobs, from being attractive, I lost a girl I loved and the last straw is Hinge banned my account for messaging old matches - harassment. It's pretty clear that I am not supposed to be alive.
I have to struggle SO HARD for NOTHING. I have no job so I am volunteering in order to have something recent on my CV. I have to wake up at 7 am, get showered and work for FREE. I go to the gym and women still find me ugly. I am just a broken man who lived too long.
If this thread isn't banned, maybe I will go into depth but there is no point cuz everything I do gets deleted. i might as well delete myself. I am in therapy. I will go to the last session to tell them thanks.

I had 2 tenants that decided to smoke in my non smoking house. They have moved out 4 months ago and I still can’t get the smell out. I have gotten rid of all the furniture, put in air purifiers, painted and the smell is still there? Any advice on how to remove the smell?

We video call almost daily and it's been two months, i have never met her in person but really like her.
I have been to Thailand seven times.
My first visit i fell in love and ended up applying for a tourist visa for my ex to come stay here in Australia, which was granted and she came over here twice.
This is my situation....
I'm working full time, she also works full time (she's not a bar girl like my previous Thai girlfriend)
I will be supporting her through her stay here, although she does have savings of her own.
I have savings, I'm renting a 4 bedroom house with my sister and her partner.
During her stay, I'll likely be working five days a week and she'll stay at home, and on my days off we will go explore Melbourne.
She has a passport, she's been to china once. How would applying for a visa for her to come keep me company here go?
She will not work, the only difference between her and my ex Thais visa is I have not met her in person, i do not have photos of us together to submit with the application.
Unfortunately i do not have time to visit Thailand because of work commitments to meet her.
Is it realistic that she can come stay for a few weeks here?

Growing up in the Seventies and Eighties, I remember graffiti all over London in which lots of things ‘ruled ok’, usually football teams, sometimes parties or unions, occasionally musicians. The same seemed to be true of other British cities; I remember ‘Rangers Rool [sic] OK’ daubed on a wall in Edinburgh near to where my grandmother lived.
It’s ages since I have seen that phrase. Has it died out completely? Or is it simply because most graffiti artists these days create sub-Basquiat paintings or Dubuffet-like glyphs?

 | So I want to paint this bottle black, as it's actually a dark blue, the bottle itself should be simple enough but the cap has a button and a locking switch for the button. If I spray paint over it, would the paint drying cause it to get stuck? If so would there be anyway to prevent it from happening? I just used dibble sided tape and spare drills. It was so fun to make and I love the result. I like to do diamond paintings, but it was fun to do something like this and make something from your own. I’m planning to do more self make things, but with my exams coming up, it would be difficult to make something like this. So you will definitely see more of this, this summer holiday. Carved my initials into the grey core collar, but other than that and some paint wear on the spoon the grenade is in good functioning shape. Will come with two additional APS pull pins and several ones I made on my own with split rings and cotter pins, and OD Green MC Kydex Banger Clip.
