A day or 2 ago, I posted my experience as a civilian staying overnight on a military base in Australia on this subreddit.
In the comments section, people where telling me that he is gonna get me pregnant or that he'll marry me within months. I reassured those people saying that I'm making sure that he is wearing condoms and that I'm on birth control (the bar) and said that his feelings for me were purely sexual.
I assumed that we were gonna be sex partners, fuck buddies or whatever the fuck you call it.
I (using the first letter of his name) and I met on tinder, today he deleted tinder and showed me proof. I didn't believe him at first, and went on tinder to still see his account, I could not find it, he actually went through and deleted his tinder. I asked him why and he said he no longer needed it.
It didn't help that earlier, I told I (the guy) that Pandora was collaborating with Disney, and I told him that I found star wars and Marvel charms (cause I noticed that he is a bit of a fan of Star Wars and Guardians Of The Galaxy) and I (the guy) said that him and I should go to Pandora on Friday to have a look, but I assumed that he was saying it to get into my pants.

Hey folks, a bit of context
I'm a casual player for a year now, I'm 30 years old and go to the gym for a long time, and currently I do a weight training focused to help with Tennis 3x a week. (mostly leg explosion, balance and the rest is a normal weight training.)
I'm a 3.0~3.5 and play for about 2 hours in lessons + 2 sets per week.
I play with a PureDrive 100, and for 6 months I used a a 52lb poly that probably was absolutely dead, but never had pain in the elbow/forearm.
About 2 months ago I switched to a hybrid of Lynx tour at the mains and velocity mlt 16 at the crosses (50/54 lb).
I quite like this setup, it gives me good power and a descent amount of spin - for my level. But recently I started to feel some mild pain at the elbow and occasional sharp pain in the forearm.
This is quite strange to me, since my old poly strings should be the ones that caused the pain, not this new setup.
I'm thinking now if switching to a full bed of multi could help. My first option is a velocity MLT 17 with 50lb, is this too low for a multi? Does anyone have any advice of another multi setup that could help?
Although I'm not a great player by all means, I like to hit with power and try to get as much spin as I can, and I would like to try to keep that as much as possible with full multis.

My work vehicle occasionally requires me to go extremely fast for what an 07 271k mile Caravan usually goes, and a while back I got the CEL for a minor evap leak. It's been on for a few months. I've noticed that when I either (unsure) accelerate as hard as I can or go 85-90 for extended periods of time (more than a few seconds to pass or whatever), the CEL turns off. It stays off for days or weeks and eventually comes back on. What exactly could be causing a minor evap leak to trigger a code and un-trigger it? The go-to guess is a new gas cap for that code, but the confusing part to me is why it turns off under those conditions.

I think it's as close to a universally held belief as you can get that CFB as a sport is suffering from things like the NIL and transfer portal. It's also true that they were instituted for very valid reasons, and the organizations profiting off of the players had been exploiting their legal monopoly. So, I have a simple proposal for reform that would solve pretty much all of the problems caused by the de facto free agency now existing in so-called amateur sports.
To wit:

• Strictly enforce scholarship caps and institute roster caps.
  
• Force schools to honor scholarships for 4 years as long as the player is keeping their grades up, regardless of their performance on the team. No cutting players to sign a bigger recruiting class.
  

Just those two changes would strongly limit transfers without putting restrictions on the players themselves. It would also re-emphasize the academic nature of the agreement without restricting players' ability to profit from their image. Most importantly, it would allow the benefits of college sports to percolate to those kids who aren't stars without complicated revenue sharing agreements.

Was messing about and got launched one good time trying to attack a crab, decided to run a bit more testing on it to see if I could recreate it and it is recreatable. Not sure the exact requirements but it seems to work with the hammer running attack specifically and requiring you to be in a falling state the moment after you initiate the attack which then mega speeds you into another ledge causing a massive bounce. Could be wrong but video attached showing some of my testing, I have been able to get higher than the mailbox, meaning you can in theory land in the mailbox from doing this correctly (I have gotten very close).

I was removing my night guard this morning and my thumb slipped up, causing my (short, natural and non pointy) nail to jam into my upper lip and rip away a small piece of scab.
It hurt for a moment. It bled for a moment.
I applied pressure with a clean cotton pad until the bleeding stopped.
The cut is not too noticeable but I’m freaking out.
I applied Vaseline (as directed by my PMU everywhere but the cut, so it can heal without being too moist (and so as not to trap bacteria)
I’m on day 3 of healing - which my PMU told me lips are healed by day 3.
Everywhere is healing really well and scabbing is flaking off on its own, except for the part where it accidentally ripped off.
I won’t be able to see my PMU artist until my touchup in 7 weeks because she is travelling.
I’m worried about the pigment retention now and also worse, maybe a scar?
What should I do?

Well…. Here is what bothers me besides my psyche
—just got in my first relationship with a 17f as a 17m both ✝️…. Same town, Hispanic…. And I can list how understanding she is…. And treated me well… and I try to do the Same and allow ourselves to become vulnerable when we around each other…. Understanding our motives to dating and putting Christ first… so it’s never it’s me that’s is just suffering in my own mind never cause of her….
And I prayed over this relationship and it happened….moved quick but honestly felt right…
There is is just one catch because to her I am very attractive and charming…. The way I talk is well spoken…. But deep down I am broken child
In short I am an undiagnosed narcissist….. woah Josh your a what?! Well how did that happen….
In long story short I was abused by my caregivers and constantly gaslighted to so I took all the Shame within… and I prayed to God since I was a child but I felt like I was trying to impress a abusive father…who I thought was my best friend…. And my mom used ✝️ to make me a tool for her image and my siblings told me I wasn’t abused enough…..
So I felt broken my whole life trying to impress and I put on a sick mask to say am I sick enough to be loved by you (my family)
But it didn’t stop me from searching orthodoxy and Christianity for myself…. I became narcissistic with preaching but then realizing I am just projecting and I need something more because I never felt full… in my ♥️
2 years ago at the age of 15 and 3 brain injuries I lost the love of my sport of wrestling with one life changing 3rd concussion before my first varsity tournament after all my prayers and I became aware of my own narcissism… and I broken down since the injury and have horrible brain injury symptoms to this day…
My narcissism is a long story but to shorten it I am suffering because I wanna love myself but I am so broken, hopeless despite studying psychology but even in subreddits of narc some have had relationships long term but with a broken self and a false self my soul wants healing…. ❤️‍🩹
I don’t know myself yet I want God…
The self destructiveness, idealizing my gf then I am afraid I will lose her cause of my devaluing cycles… I see this as a post traumatic condition response….
Why am I saying this to us Christian’s because I wanna humanize my pain I need prayer…. People who say narcs can’t be aware are liars, don’t want healing is also wrong…. It’s my hope through Christ who been trying to study him more and now I have a girl which is what I prayed for…

I'm guessing this is a bug with my motherboard or maybe Windows 10? But my network card stays on all the time in S5 and S3 which is the correct behavior. When I am spamming the button right after the computer goes the sleep S3 it works for like 3-4 times and then it stops working . So I guess in S3 Wake On Lan is really iffy on S3. However on S5 shutdown it works 100% percent I dit it around 10 times in a row and it always worked.
This is a problem for me because sometimes it goes to sleep and I can't turn it on remotely. I can't really explain what is going on maybe there is some kind of power saving tech where the card changes it's duplex from 1gbps to 10mbps when entering S3 and that causes the my switch to reset and loses it's ARP cache? I don't really know and I'm quite at loss because I don't really know how to diagnose this with Wireshark. I will list my complete setup. I have read a lot about Wol and I am guessing this is a bug on my motherboard and I might add a second ethernet adapter to fix it.

I wonder if there is a way to show which ACPI state it is in so I can confirm it doesn't switch S4 after some time I am pretty sure Wake On Lan only works on S3 and S5. The most frustrating thing is that the LAN Card lights stays on but doesn't wake up the computer. It feels like a bug... I would like some help maybe some people are experts in Wake On Lan stuff. I've been battling this for a month now I will try Windows 11 and maybe buy a second usb ethernet card or maybe change the whole motherboard. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
Since this is my first post on Reddit, I will give a brief explanation of what is that long text below and how I started researching social skills. So the title is a content that I put together below and I am a biologist with a great interest in how the human brain works, but this hasn't been relevant to my previous work experiences, and I didn't put it to much use until recently. Learning about our mind and anatomy was just a hobby and some subjects to study for exams during university for me.
I was working as a consultant for companies that required me to give trainings and presentations a lot. I never enjoyed giving presentations or being in the center of attention, but because it was my job so I said, "It is what it is," and got along with it. However, in the last two years, I feel like some dots have been connected inside my brain because what I had to do for my work has become a lot more relevant to what I was studying as a hobby. Since I understood that, I started researching more on the biology of social skills and began creating short and practical content for people to read (and hopefully help them). It is not a "How to hack your brain!" type of content but rather about understanding the reasons behind why we have some problems, what the biological reasons behind them are, and how to deal with them by understanding the underlying reasons.

Most of us are involved in more than one project simultaneously in our professional lives, and this can easily cause us to lose focus. Being able to multitask is a sought-after trait even among employers. Some even feel bad about not being able to "multitask," and managers may ask their employees to improve this ability. But is multitasking really possible? What does science say about it?
When we examine the studies, we find that the time it takes for an adult office worker to focus on a task is 3 minutes. For students, it's 19 seconds, and they change what they're working on every 65 seconds. Our already diminished focus time cannot stay sustained for long, even during a single task. In fact, when our focus is interrupted, it takes an average of 23 minutes to regain the same level of focus. MIT professor Earl Miller says, "The brain can only consciously generate one or two thoughts. That's it. We are very monotonous creatures and have very limited cognitive capacity."
In other words, the term "multitasking," which is used for processors that can perform more than one operation simultaneously, has never been a trait of human workers. When people who are asked to multitask are analyzed in studies, it is observed that they simply "switch" between tasks and cannot be productive. Furthermore, this "switching" process is quite costly. Firstly, the brain needs to refocus to return to the previous task, which takes an average of 23 minutes. So, if your phone indicates you only spend 4 hours a day on it, the time you actually lose is much more than 4 hours.
HP, on the other hand, observed in its study that employees' IQ scores were 10 points lower than normal due to this switching. To put this into perspective, this decline is equivalent to that caused by marijuana consumption. The third cost is a loss of creativity, as the focus needed to produce deep work is compromised. The deep work required to generate ideas, to connect the dots, to create flawless work, is not achievable with short periods of focus, and productivity in jobs requiring creativity significantly decreases.
On average, employees spend 40% of their working time "multitasking," believing that they are multitasking. In short, multitasking is not a skill that humans possess; it never has been. Even those who request it are simply "shifting" between tasks. And if you feel bad about it, in the words of Robin Williams, "It is not your fault."

So I’ve started wearing my ortho k contact again after months of not using them due to the left contact hurting so much whenever I put them on. Now I started wearing it again 3 weeks ago and there’s no pain when putting it on anymore, but my left contact always starts moving around in the morning from just blinking which causes some pain and discomfort, so when I take it off, my left eye is always blurry for the whole day. My right eye contact works perfectly and I can see just fine if I close my left eye, but if I close my right eye and only look with my left, everything’s blurry. Is this a case of bad fit? I’ve told my eye doc but they’re useless and tells me to just keep wearing them

I have CBBE and Divergence Vanilla Pack AIO 1-1K and it's causing huge gaps. I thought Divergence was mesh-free but I guess not??
I have no idea how to fix this cus you need double space to download mods and I have 8mb to spare. The ver. of Divergence I'm using is around 770mb and if I try to delete it I'll have to delete half my LO to get the space to download a replacement.

Need some insight on an experience and situation I’ve never been in and wouldn’t dare to progress to. I’ve been seeing a man for about 4 months. I’m going to try to share as many details as possible and keep it straight forward. We are both 24 y/o. He’s an Aries (Sun), Cancer (Moon), and Aquarius (Rising). I’m a Sagittarius (Sun), Taurus (Moon) and Scorpio (Rising) - if these details matter or help you all as it does for me lol.
BACKGROUND INFO: He’s only been in one relationship and it ended his freshman year of college. I’ve been in about 4 relationships. I’ve noticed that he seems to maybe have commitment issues. We are really good together, we are both satisfied + more from a mental, physical and emotional aspect. Mental stimulation is both very important to us. He uses a lot of “we” and truthfully adds value to my life, and he very often expresses that I do too. Genuinely, no one besides my family and a few professors has been able to give me helpful advice or help me when it comes to situations. Everything they tell me is something I already know. I find that the skill sets we both have truthfully fills gaps and we conpliment each other. We’ve had ongoing conversations about this. I’ve been able to learn a lot from him and he’s learned a lot from me. He’s very very smart and as a woman, there are many characteristics and traits he has that inspire me because I see that he is better at than me that I learn to appreciate that this man has. For example, communication and emotional intelligence.
Long story short, we’ve been through the wringer and have fought for each other like crazy. We are both not the type to tolerate the things we’ve gone through with each other other, other than the fact that it because he’s him and I’m me. I do have trust issues and have always taken preventative measures to not go through that hurt. We have an exclusive situation and have laid boundaries. After a month and a half of talking, I brought up that I would prefer to be exclusive (not entertaining or see any other man physically and emotionally and I would expect the same from him), he didn’t agree told me he had PTSD from the last exclusive experience. I said okay, because I am not one to push and that tells me more than I need to know. A week later he brought up the talk that initiated and said he wanted to be more exclusive but without the title. Meaning he wasn’t going to see anybody physically and no entertaining, he expected the same to me. I agreed. We both wronged each other by breaking those boundaries.
Two months later, it somehow came up after I took him on a work trip and it came to light we had saw other people after. It was only physical and we were still each other’s main person at mind. We went through the wringer for a week and both decided to fight it. We gravitated towards each other naturally and we’re prioritizing this issue, seeing each other every day. We concluded that we cared about each other a lot and very deeply, because that was the most we saw each other ever in a week because we cared enough to attack the issue. We knew that certain things happened for a reason that led us up to this point. Some toxic actions took place, he went through my phone, I went through his, etc. We are very connected and have reflected on this since then often. You would think seeing each other everyday trying to fix the issue was draining in every way, but it was not. It was very positive and natural. Some would say some actions were toxic but it worked for us. We both had a feeling the other was doing something, didn’t want to bring it up and lose one another because neither was ready. We started off with a clean slate. He is a very genuine man and I appreciate him for his genuineness. There is no half ass energy from his end, he always thinks and communicates in a me and him vs the situation, instead of me and him vs each other. He knows that his actions had hurt me (the disrespecting boundaries) and they were more extreme, recent and hit me harder. When I was seeing people behind his back it ended way earlier before we both found out and started cleaning itself up. I took him to a work event that I was a panelist on. I have never eve mixed work with my dating/intimate life. We came to conclusion that two wrongs made a right in this situation, but this is something I wouldn’t have tolerated in the past and neither would have he. Regardless if it was one sided. we both realize we both move differently, and there are many many first time memories we made (positive) and there are many things we’ve tolerated that we would have never if it was someone else and have not in the past.
I’m trying my best to limit this because there is many more details, I’m a woman that is very very scared to be hurt. We started off with a clean slate and I realize he gave me his 100% commitment after the work trip talk. No entertaining or seeing other woman. There were two days that I went back on the dating app and swiped out of spite. I messaged my matches “Hii hello” and got a response from 6 matches. I never looked at the matches after that or even cared to. I took accountability that it was a moment out of spite. He felt very hurt by my actions. He was stronger than me to handle my actions before the work trip, but I was still hurt by his actions. Ultimately, I know I was wrong, immature, and wasn’t strong enough to handle it the right way. I had no intention of seeing someone but in the moment it made me feel better. We were doing so good that I didn’t want the negative thoughts I was having to takeover what we had. Maybe my mind is messed up, but I wouldn’t have carried out those disrespectful actions if I didn’t care about him enough. The negative thoughts I was having was more of the flashbacks on the details he had done with other people. I genuinely don’t think he’s ever been this serious with anyone else before, his quote on quote words.
DILEMMA: Now I am seeing another side of him, he told me were done. I was taking him home and right before we were about to get there (15 minutes out) he offered an out for us. This out goes against my values of self-worth, our boundaries and foundational trust. He mentioned in order for him to get over this, because he’s not the type of person to go through this and just forgive is for me to agree to let him see other people for a time period. He wants to hurt me enough, and more to be able to get it out of his system. I am not allowed to see people but he can. He wants to still see me but the sharing energy and bodies absolutely disgusts me. He still expects the same effort and dynamic between us, that and more.
I fought back and expressed to him that I was not raised like this. My parents and friends would want better for me. I don’t want to be with someone who is going to reemphasize the trust issues and foundational issues we had. These are not consequences that draw you away from the issue. I expressed that I want to be with someone that would lead by example, fill in the gaps so I am able to learn from it, or show maturity where I was not able to. He understands that this will push us back further than where we were at our lowest point. He says it doesn’t negotiate my self worth because it’s different if I had done this for other people or would but it’s different because it would be for him. He understands that it’s toxic but he’s willing to try. He mentioned that he was mad himself that he even offered this out, because he never has and never would but this is how deeply he feels for me?? I brought up a concern that how do I know he’s not just putting me through this to peace out in the end and play me. But I do see that he has laid out everything step by step and said this is how his brain just works. And if he did want to hurt me, he would have just told me he was okay, forgave me and see other people on the side. In the end, he kind of understood the spiteful actions I took. I told him these tendencies are sadistic and I don’t want to cause myself issues. It’s hot in bed, sometimes outside of the bedroom but not when they are serious things. I know my self-worth, the hurt I would go through seeing him with someone else, and how far it would set us back. I’m a very resilient person snd the fact that I considered this tells me a lot about how much I care for this person to negotiate my self-worth and out myself through pain. It’s crazy because I could get through it all, but my biggest problem and issue is the sake of us and how it would affect us in the end. All the potential issues it would cause and the risks we would be taking.
I did layout terms, mentioning this would be a very dark time and any doors we open I would want them sealed immediately after this is over. This would never repeat again, wear protection every single time. A STD test every single week. This would go on for no more than 3 weeks.
I guess my question and what I’m looking for is, can anyone who does understand his perspective please expand more. I think I understand where he is coming from but I want an unbiased and outside perspective to cover anything I could potentially miss. What are some argument points that we could go about this way better? Is there anything else I should consider? I know I’m going to get roasted like crazy. I know it’s wrong. So please, I want to only hear more from people who would do the same thing he would or could answer any argument points against this.
