(Female) (25) Hello i have a tooth abscess and i’m going to get it extracted i was prescribed an antibiotic called augmentin 1000 by my dentist, when i first took it i made sure to take it with a meal to not vomit, after 2 hours of taking it i started feeling my heart rate going fast & vomiting violently every couple of minutes and shaking
i contacted the dentist he then said to switch to amoxil 500mg,
today i took them after a light meal and a zoron/ondansetron 8mg pills to prevent vomiting, but again after 3 hours i started feeling sick and my stomach keeps turning and every now and then my heart starts pounding and i had little diarrhea but no vomit yet, i don’t know how i’m going to complete the course like this please help what can i do about it or is this even normal???? My dentist is not responding
Ps: he also prescribed me flagyl 500mg, so 1 amoxil 500mg after lunch and 1 flagyl 500mg after dinner for 3 days prior to extraction, i still haven’t taken the flagyl pill cuz i’m scared

I am really worried and I would love some feedback on my case. I am 34 years old, otherwise in perfect health and I had my right impacted lower molar extracted 4 weeks and 2 days ago . My issue is that 2 weeks ago (around 2 weeks after the surgery), that swell that I had turned to a little lump (like the size of a nickle wide, more like a hard pad on my cheek near the middle edge of my cheeck) that I could feel, went to the doctor, she said she can't see anything suspicious, but she could feel the lump, maybe on the masseter muscle she said, so she put me on Amoxil 500mg 3 times a day for 8 days. She added that she doesn't feel the lump to be filled with puss, plus she poked around my socket and said no puss coming out and everything was fine looking.
Anyhow, today I have taken 8 days of Amoxil, and now I am 5 days off it, the lump is very smaller, trismus is 95% gone, only issue is that the center of that "lump" is still bit tender to touch and I have developed a fever the past week that comes and goes up to 37.5C/99.5F.
3 days ago I did a panoramic dental x-ray, that showed no abscesses my dentist said. She rechecked and the lump is much smaller but still there so she thinks it might be a muscle spasm or something muscle related. Problem is the past week I have developed this low grade fever and I don't feel that awesome. Could it be osteomyelitis? :( What should I do?

This is the location i feel harder on touch and a bit tender and tiny painful. When it was swollen you couldn't notice it by naked eye, you had to feel it to touch the pad/swell.

So I removed 3 wisdom teeth today (one upper, both lower, am 19 years old) and have a few questions:
1) Should I be flossing/brushing my teeth the first day or is that something I should hold off on until tomorrow?
2) I know sucking should not be done at all. Like ever, but how long will it take until I'll be able to use a straw? When the stitches are removed?
3) I've been prescribed 21 tabs of Amoxil 500mg and 28 tabs of Tylenol#3. I was too out of it to get to a pharmacy to buy them so I've been using Tylenol Rapid Release that I had laying around the house. Are the prescribed medications really necessary or are they just to ease the pain? (Which I don't have too much of, 7 hours later and with consumption of the Rapid Release pills)
4) In the pamphlet my dentist gave me, it says to hold off on rice for a month or so. Is this really true? Being a Korean, it's hard to imagine what I'd be able to eat for a month if this is mandatory.
5) In the X-ray photo taken, there was no wisdom tooth in the upper left side of the mouth. Is it normal to have just 3 wisdom teeth (isn't there usually 2, 4, or 6)? Or is there a possibility that one will form down the road?
6) Is gulping okay, as opposed to sucking? I find that spit naturally forms in the mouth, and am not sure if gulping down the saliva has the same effect. Maybe "gulping" isn't the right word. Swallowing maybe?
7) Do you have any super-helpful tips for someone who had their wisdom teeth removed that they must know?
I would ask my dentist's office these questions, but by the time I woke up their office closed :/
