2020.12.24 03:09 ihohjlknk Cable Box Suddenly Stopped Working

I use a non-X1 RNG110 cable box because it still has component which i use for my TV. Well, In the middle of watching TV, the picture suddenly goes black and i get a "One Moment Please S0a00" error message. My other box is also non-X1 (Motorola) is working just fine.
Here is a picture of the diagnostic dashboard:

I haven't touched any of the coax cables. I actually had the line to my house replaced with a brand new one, so the signal should be good. I will say that Comcast was working in my neighborhood yesterday fixing outages, i don't know if they remotely bricked my box or whatever?
Any help would be appreciated.
UPDATE: I tried the Motorola box and it does work. The issue seems to the box. Either its bricked or Comcast must have deactivated my box.

2018.05.11 05:09 Tablish [English -> Romanian]

Hi there,
Walking back to my apartment tonight I was flagged down by a neighbor I've never met. She was desperate for help fixing her cable TV, which went kaput right before a show she was excited about. She is a sweet old Romanian lady whose family is not here in America and it seems like her TV time is understandably very important to her.
I fixed the problem by calling Comcast (ugh) and asking them to reset the connection. That worked. I wanted to write instructions to her in case she needed to call them again for the same problem, but she said she doesn't read English. I was wondering if someone out there could help me create instructions for her to navigate the process. She speaks a little English so I think if she can anticipate what Comcast will ask her, she can answer.
Here's the text:
If you see the error code "s0a00" on your television, you need to call 1-800-266-2278.
The machine voice will ask you some questions but if you cannot answer, stay on the line and it will transfer you to a person.
The person will ask what the problem is. You can say, "I have error code s0a00. My cords are okay. Please reset my signal."
The person will ask for your account number. Your account number is___________.
Then, the person will ask for your address. Your address is _________________.
The person will reset your signal.
I don't know if she would be fully successful navigating the menu but she seemed so distressed due to not being able to even help herself. I gave her my number to call if she needs help again but it's hard to reach me so I wanted to give her a plan B.
Thank you SO MUCH if you can help!

2017.11.30 21:34 roaming-the-web New cable box with legacy software - PA PR150BNM

I recently signed up with Xfinity for cable and was sent a PA PR150BNM cable box. Upon setup, I have noticed that not only does this cable box not have the X1 platform but it is erroring with a s0a00 error on all channels.
I have called support once, and been through chat support once. Both times they sent my box a refresh which they promised would update my legacy software to the X1 software and fix my errors. Well... No such luck.
All in all, I am still stuck with the legacy software (non X1) and also not able to watch cable, due to every channel showing the S0a00 error.
Please advise!!!

2015.10.31 21:19 Majinferno No connection after renewal of service. It's been 2 days

A week or so ago my service got cut off due to a billing issue. Recently it's been payed an renewed, but my service is still disconnected. I was told it'd take a few hours for service to work again. After 2 days I'm pretty frustrated.
Comcast support insist its a wiring issue, but the thing is we've already had 2 tech visits to fix wiring and a new line was placed. Everything was working just fine before the billing issue.
Currently the modem just hangs with the US/DS light blinking and none of the cable boxes in the house work.
From cable I get error code S0a00 telling me the channel will be available soon.
The modem logs show a whole bunch of Time Sync errors. I'll post signals soon along with the error log message.
I honestly think the devices aren't detecting a subscription. Refresh signals aren't working either.
Any help would be appreciated. I've had way to many problems with Comcast.
Edit: signals
