However, recently, on social media as well as mass media, there have been continuous reports on condemning traditional festivals of ethnic minorities in Vietnam, including the Dam Trau Festival. This festival is always being opposed because it is supposed that the nature of the festival is extreme, cruel and no longer suitable for civilized society. And today, in the context of globalization, the preservation and promotion of cultural values are taken the very first place. Choosing and considering either preserving or eliminating festivals is necessary, thereby, to work together in the preservation and promotion of cultural values, especially ethnic cultural values because those values have contributed to the diversity in the cultural system of Vietnam. A festival is an event showing the precious tradition "When you eat a fruit, think of the man who planted the tree " of the community, honoring sacred images, named as "Gods" - real people in national history or myths. The festival is a tribute event, expressing the gratitude and gratitude of the gods to the community and people. The festival has really become a bond between ethnic communities. At festivals, the basis of the formation of ethnic groups - "community" has been revealed, spread and sublimated in community activities. Formerly, due to the knowledge of science and technology, health care, disease prevention of people had certain limitations and to cope with diseases, risks, distress, drought, floods ... caused damage to crops, affecting the lives of villagers, ... with the desire to avoid accidents and pray for good rain and wind to make the life of the community more fortunate and better, thank to help of the God, the village often hosts a Dam Trau festival every year. Depending on the purpose, circumstances, economic conditions, customs and practices of each ethnic group, the Dam Trau festival is held at different times, periods and spaces. Therefore, it is important to understand that using buffaloes as sacrifices to send to God is a spiritual base so that people will have peace of mind. On the other hand, the Dam Trau festival is said to be barbaric from the perspective of Vietnamese culture to consider the problem. Concepts about buffalo are different between the minds of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands and Vietnamese or some other ethnic groups. In both traditional and contemporary societies, with the majority of Vietnamese in rural areas with wet rice civilization, buffaloes are still the main production tool of farmers. Moreover, they are also a great asset to farmers. Therefore, Vietnamese has an idiom: “Having a water buffalo allows one to start a business”. Unlike the Vietnamese, ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands and mountainous areas of some provinces in the Central, farming conditions are mainly upland, gathering and hunting so buffaloes are not vital animals. Therefore, buffaloes are raised only for sacrifices during important ceremonies. From a modern perspective, the Dam Trau festival has negative effects on animal welfare issues as well as negative impacts on the whole society. The slashing of living buffaloes is a cruel treatment for animals. It lifts the viewers' emotions when they watch the way animals are treated cruelly, especially children whose psychology is incomplete, unstable and easily affected. Many research results show that the link between cruelty to animals and violent behavior in humans. According to a survey conducted in 1999 at a prison, out of 117 prisoners, 63% of crimes belonging to the violent group had animal abuse compared to only 11% in the group without violent tendencies. Besides, according to the Asia Animal Organization, "animal welfare" means that the animal is Not hungry; No physical and mental discomfort: no pain, injury, disease; Freedom to express instinctive behaviors; No fear and worry. This festival violates this and causes suffering, unnecessary pain for animals. Vietnamese people have always had a tradition of altruism and humanity and those traditions needs to be promoted. Festivals, that use animals as tools, instead of respecting them as living beings who are able to perceive pain, are fading away that good tradition of Vietnamese. Culture and traditions also change and evolve over time. Those beauties which are suitable for the new trend and new society will be maintained. In contrast, things that are no longer appropriate and vulgar should be changed and removed. In addition, every festival must be associated with the local identity and the culture of the nation to spread humanity to the next generation. The act of stabbing a buffalo, slaughtering a pig or any other festival with cruel treatment of animals witnessed by many people, including children, is in stark contrast to the traditional moral character of Vietnamese people and cannot be called culture. In the world, there have been many festivals, activities related to the carnage, mistreatment of animals that were condemned and had to be closed. For example, India recently banned animal sacrifices because of the "cruel" and "barbaric" nature of this practice. In Denmark, the Minister of Agriculture signed a decree banning the slaughter of cattle for religious ceremonies without anesthetizing them before slaughtering. The reason for that ban is: "Animal rights are more important than religious rituals.". The Australian government banned the export of sheep and cattle to Saudi Arabia between 1991 and 2000 after hundreds of those died because of heat on the way to the Persian Gulf. Spain had to cancel the bullfights because of the fierce opposition of the world community. In a civilized society, acts of killing, regardless of any beliefs, are difficult to accept. It is even more difficult to accept when the slaughtering of pigs and buffaloes is performed in the fearful eyes of people and even children who are not old enough to understand the meaning of what they are witnessing. The cruelty of activities and festivals that are often rejected by the people or the government recognizes their negative impacts on society and eliminates them. Moreover, changing the traditions to suit modern society is necessary to keep pace with the times. Being able to replace the big slashing with the symbolic pig, stabbing the buffalo symbolically and not slaughtering the buffaloes for sale after the end of the festival will be a better way for us to retain the good values of tradition but still accord with modern society. For the community of ethnic groups in the Central Highlands, the preservation of traditional and cultural values of the nation, in which Dam Trau festival is a highlight, a unique value, needs to be preserved and developed but only under allowable conditions. It is important to solve this problem harmoniously as well as preserve and diffuse the value of the festival and make it become a feature in the overall picture of ethnic culture in Vietnam. Câu hỏi này nhiều bạn trực tiếp hỏi mình. Thỉnh thoảng trong một số page, group đông thành viên đăng 1 số hình âm thanh tương tự trong sách lên. Sau đó hàng trăm bình luận đi kèm “Học kiểu này hỏng hết phát âm à”, “Đúng là phương pháp của người Việt, kiểu này V-inglish thôi”,…Nhưng thực tế bạn đã hiểu bản chất về phương pháp này chưa?

Mình, hàng nghìn bạn học đã và đang học theo phương pháp này rất hiệu quả. Việc ghi nhớ 20-30 từ 1 ngày là con số trung bình mà các học viên học được.
2. Có thực sự học xong sách trong 30 ngày không?
Mình khẳng định luôn là có. Nhiều bạn đã học, đã kiểm tra và hoàn tiền. Còn với mình, mình cũng chỉ hoàn thành sách sau 50 ngày. Tương ứng với mỗi ngày 1 bài. Con số gấp gần 10 lần so với các phương pháp cũ trước đây. Việc mình học 30, 50 hay 100 từ một ngày sẽ tùy vào mục tiêu, động lực của chính bản thân mình.Step Up khuyến khích các bạn học viên trong 30 ngày, hoàn tiền để giúp bạn vượt qua giới hạn của bản thân. Chẳng ai bắt mình phải học cuốn sách này trong 1 tháng cả. Nhưng với phương pháp cực kỳ hay, rất nhiều người học thành công. Nếu bạn có 1 cuốn sách trong tay, mình khẳng định bạn sẽ học không dưới 20 từ 1 ngày đâu!
3. Giá sách 400 nghìn đắt quá, không biết mua về có học được không?
Về tính hiệu quả, như mình đã nói ở trên nhé. Còn giá sách 400 nghìn? Bạn được 1 cuốn sách toàn hình ảnh, cầm vào là thích thú, muốn học ngay.App Hack Não tiện lợi đi kèm, rồi các hỗ trợ từ giáo viên hướng dẫn từng tuần, livestream hướng dẫn từng bài, kiểm tra, giúp đỡ,…
Nếu mình đi trung tâm học thì ít nhất cũng 3 -5 triệu đồng, chắc gì đã được hỗ trợ như vậy. Với mình, cuốn sách này mang lại nhiều hơn những gì 400 nghìn đó.
4. Mình mất gốc hoàn toàn có học được không? Mất gốc học từ đâu?
Cuốn sách này thực sự dành cho người mất gốc. Người không biết phải học từ đâu và bắt đầu như thế nào. Các từ vựng trong sách nằm trong khoảng A2-B1, là mức độ dành cho những người mất gốc, mới bắt đầu học. Chỉ cần bạn đặt mục tiêu học mỗi ngày, quyết tâm thì chắc chắn bạn sẽ học được nhé.5. Làm theo các bước Step Up hướng dẫn chi tiết trong sách, tham gia group học, hỏi giáo viên, hỏi các bạn khác…là bạn đã đi được 50% chặng đường rồi. Còn lại là do bản thân bạn. Hue City was the Capital of Vietnam for 143 years from 1802 to 1945 when Ho Chi Minh started Communist Government and move the Capital to Hanoi.
Before 2nd century, this area was dominated by Chinese until 192 when local people defeated Chinese and started the first nation here named Lin Y. From the 4th century, this area was the land of Champa Kingdom until 1306 when Champa King marriage Vietnamese Princes and gave this area to Vietnamese as the wedding gift.
During Vietnamese Civil War (1558 – 1789), the Nguyen Lords controlled this region while Trinh Lords controlled the North Vietnam. Le Kings were only puppet to Trinh and Nguyen Families.
In 1789, Nguyen Hue defeated Nguyen and Trinh Families to start a new Dynasty named Tay Son Dynasty, but Nguyen Anh from Nguyen family still survived and later in 1802, he came back and defeated the Tay Son dynasty to start the Nguyen Dynasty. He became the first King of the Nguyen Dynasty and Hue officially became the Capital for the whole country.
In 1945, Nguyen Dynasty ended by Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi was chosen to be the Capital for the whole country.
Best Things to do in Hue
- Forbidden City: Built from 1804 by King Gia Long and finished in 1833 by King Minh Mang. At the entrance of the Ngan gate into the Imperial Citadel are the Nine Holy Cannons cast from melted down bronze wares from the Tay Son dynasty. The cannons are named after the four seasons and five elements (metal, earth, wood, water and fire) and are known as the “Holy Invincible Generals”. They have never been used for military purposes and are the guardian spirits of the Hue Citadel.

- Thien Mu Pagoda: Also on the north shore of the Perfume River about 3km from the Imperial Citadel. You can get there by dragon boat along the Perfume River, or for those feeling more energetic, a pleasant bicycle ride. The Thien Mu pagoda is regarded as the unofficial symbol of the former imperial capital. Today it is the home of the Austin motor vehicle which drove Thich Quang Duc to his self-immolation in Saigon in 1963 in protest against the Diem regime. It is still home to many monks and a holy site visited by many everyday.

- Royal Tombs: 7 royal tombs in all scatter the countryside around Hue and are monuments to 9 of the 13 rulers of the Nguyen Dynasty, usually built and designed during the emperor’s lifetime. The 3 most visited tombs in Hue are Minh Mang Tomb, Tu Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb. The remaining 4 are less visited but still have interesting features, with Duc Duc, Thanh Thai and Duy Tan being housed in the same tomb.

- Thanh Toan Covered Bridge: Named because of its resemblence to the Japanese Bridge in Hoi An. Its construction was initiated by Tran Thi Dao, the wife of a high ranking Mandarin in the court of Emperor Le Hien Tong, sometime between 1740 and 1746. Originally it was built to offer better transportation and communication for the village that lines either side of the canal. In 1925 Emperor Khai Dinh ordered the villagers to erect an altar dedicated to Tran Thi Dao on the bridge. Many locals still travel to the town to visit her tomb.

- Dong Ba Markets: The largest market place in central Vietnam, this is definitely a place to visit to immerse yourself in the local culture. Tourists can see all the typical features of a traditional Vietnamese market, such as, the sampan landing, the bus station and the bazaars. Dong Ba market is considered a paradise for snapshots of daily activities as well as for shopping with everything from souvenir items to bronze goods, Hue sesame sweetmeat, conical poem hats, just to name a few. Should you find interest in Vietnamese food or culture, you’d better come here to explore.

- Tiger Arena: Ho Quyen, Tiger - Elephant Fighting Arena - One of the most interesting sights in Hue 8/10 3km out of Hue Blurb. This is probably the most interesting site in Hue, and it is all too often overlooked by visitors. It was built in 1830 during the reign of Emporer Minh Mang to stage yearly battles between an elephant and a tiger.

- Bach Ma National Park: Bach Ma National Park is an old French Hill station stretching out over some 40,000 unspoilt hectares and offering great hiking trails, waterfalls, slightly odd and very basic lodgings, a camp site and plenty of wildlife (keep that tent zipped up). It’s home to one of the most stunning stretches of jungle walk and mountain ranges.

- Elephant Hot Spring: The Elephant Springs (Elephant Waterfall), some 60 kilometres from Hue, is an excellent natural spring that is well worth a visit. Particularly on a hot day, the natural pool below a small waterfall makes for a very refreshing dip. You can sluice yourself down the smooth rocks at the base of the falls, and there are plenty more spots upstream to explore.

- Thuan An Beach: About 14 kilometres from City Center is the nearest beach in Hue, Thuan An. Though it's one of Central Vietnam's most beautiful beaches, it's ridiculously undeveloped with just a scattering of shacks in various stages of decline. The recent addition of Beach Bar Hue may start to change the scene, as this shabby chic spot is well on the way to being one of the most popular day trips from Hue.

- Dam Chuon Lagoon: Located in An Truyen Village, 12km away from Hue City. But Dam Chuon is considered like untouched place by tourist flow. Place can be reached on Motorbike, Bike and Car. The best way to visit is to be on Hue Motorbike Tours or Hue Bicycle Tours to visit beautiful local villages and do fishing with local before you enjoy local seafood lunch here. Also you can join Hue Car Rental Service to get there. Worth a visit!
