2024.05.16 12:39 littlemisspretty_ help me pls

Hiii. Me (24F) and my bf (25M) have been together for more than a year. I was from a 7yr rs with a highschool sweetheart, narealize ko lang na I don’t see him sa future ko and I think we’ve been peer pressured kaya tumagal kami ng ganon despite our mismatches. I had no chance to explore din. We only live once kaya I think it’s just fair to really look for your soulmate among sa 7 billion na tao sa mundo.
My bf now, we started as fxbx a month after I broke up w my longterm ex, then he asked me to be his gf after a month. Naging okay ang rs namin although may microcheating na pinagtatalunan kc he was an fboi and ako naman hoe phase nung nagmeet kami. Both naman kami naging maayos eventually as time goes by. Slowly but surely ganern haha. Sa kanya ko nadiscover lahat ng gusto ko sa isang guy. Same sense of humor kami, same taste sa fashion, basta all in all, we’re really a match. However, something happened that slowly made him lose his feelings for me. Not cheating ha, more of a body choice and reproduction. Ykwim. Not once, but twice. Nung 2nd time, dun na pala siya nagstart mawalan ng amor sakin. He wanted to continue kasi, I just can’t kasi I still study and panganay din me. I had no clue na nawawalan na siya feelings but I can’t blame him. I know it hurts cos they’re our angels.
I love him so much, I still go to his house everyday but he would just sleep kasi he works graveyard shifts. He doesn’t push me away harshly pero feeling ko awa and his good heart na lang kaya hinahayaan niya pa kong tumambay sa house niya. He asked me na bumitaw na pero hindi ko talaga kaya. His heart is too soft. Ayaw niyang siya mang-iwan, gusto niya iwan ko siya. I tried to agree the first time he asked for a space kaso para akong nawawasak, literal. Ang hirap pala ng no contact kapag sobrang lalim na ng feelings mo. I consider him na rin as my “siya na”. Plus, his family likes me. I’m a shytype kind of girl kaya bihira lang yung may maka-appreciate sakin that much. I’ve been offering him a “restart” on our rs for 2months na. His mind is still confused kasi he has a lot on his plate din. I don’t know what to do anymore. I really want him, ayoko na ng iba. I want to give him space kaso I know he will have a chance na makasalamuha ng other women. He’s a witty type of guy kasi, smart naughty jokes. Mapa-aircon or kanal humor sisiw sa bilis ng utak niya. Kumbaga, siya yung type na life of the party, ganern.
I’ve prayed several times na himasin ni Lord yung puso niya. Ibalik yung love niya sakin, ganun. I can’t lose him. he has been my escape from my toxic home din. For the first time in my 24yrs of existence, ngayon ko lang naramdaman yung mahalin na nakaabot sa peak ng genuine happiness ko at magka-peace of mind.
Tsaka ano rin po pala, parang umiikot din yung sikmura ko kapag tinatry kong lumayo sa kanya. Even sa eating, I want to eat kaso first bite pa lang, sinusuka ko na. Pinipilit ko self ko magfunction kasi di kako pwedeng ganon. Kaso wala tlgang energy. I tried distracting myself din, self dates and pamper time, wala. Spent time with my friends, negative din.
Wag po sana harsh answers, mga ate and kuya’s huhu.

What Kind of Benefits Can A CRM Built Specifically for The Travel Agency Give to Your Business?

Improved Customer Retention: Retaining customers is vital to your business. Using a CRM allows you to better track your customers and instantly address their questions and concerns.

Centralized Database of Information: A CRM creates a centralized database of your customers' data, so anyone who may need it can access it. Travel agents can then see what types of trips customers may be interested in based on their past interactions with your company. As a result, your customers will have a more positive experience, and your employees will save time.

Increased Sales: By using a CRM program, you can design a particular sales plan, automate key parts of your sales process, and help you analyze the data being collected about your sales. All of this can help you improve both your sales and productivity. Furthermore, you can create a process for your employees that is easy to follow and can be effortlessly adjusted when necessary.

Higher Productivity: CRM systems use automation technology, which speeds up non-priority work. It also authorizes employees to focus on work that cannot be automated, such as creating content. This automation also ensures that no work is missed, and it even helps you enhance your workflow.

Better Customer Service: CRMs store information such as demographics, purchase history, and past communications in a single location. Storing all necessary data in a single place makes it easy for anyone in your company to find it. Observing customer information becomes much easier with all of your data in a single location.

Personalized Traveler Experience: Every person who travels is different, with their own preferences and interests. Some people prefer to go to the beach, while others stick to the mountains. Some people want to visit a big city, while others would rather go to a secluded cabin in the wilderness. With travelers who are so diverse, the way you interact with them should be as well. You can better understand the preferences of your audience with a CRM. You and your travel agents better tailor the experience you are offering them.

2024.05.16 12:35 hotinmyigloo TJ: We hope province loses court fights: Ottawa

https://tj.news/new-brunswick/we-hope-province-loses-policy-713-court-fights-ottawa
Province's decision to 'politicize' issue is 'unfortunate': LeBlanc
Author of the article: Andrew Waugh
Published May 16, 2024 • Last updated 33 minutes ago • 3 minute read
The federal government hopes that two groups suing the province over its controversial changes to Policy 713 win their cases, and say the Higgs government’s decision to “politicize” the issue is “unfortunate” and isn’t supported by experts.
The province is facing two lawsuits over its policy changes: one involving Anglophone School District East’s District Education Council (DEC), and another with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association.
Both groups argue the changes are illegal. The province is expected to argue next week that anglophone east’s case should be dismissed because the DEC doesn’t have the right to fight the issue in court.
On Friday, Education Minister Bill Hogan attempted to downplay the government’s newest Policy 713 battleground, its fight with the three francophone DECs, who are refusing to post the new policy on their districts’ websites.
Instead, their own versions are there, and according to the DECs, being enforced.
Previously, Hogan has threatened to dissolve them if they don’t start following the government’s new version of the policy. On Friday, however, he appeared to back away a little, saying that while the DECs had nominally adopted their own gender-identity policy, the schools in their districts are actually following the province’s new policy.
On Monday, Francophone School District South’s DEC scoffed at Hogan’s comments, and said they aren’t, and won’t, follow the new policy.
Michel Côté, the DEC chair, said its policy remains active and continues to be enforced in the district’s schools, “to ensure that every student can thrive in an environment that champions authenticity.” The policy allows students in Grades 6 and above to go by their preferred name and pronoun without parental consent and for younger students to do so on a case-by-case basis. This differs from the province’s version, which requires parental consent for students under 16.
At an unrelated press conference in Fredericton on Wednesday, Brunswick News asked Hogan about the fight with the francophone DECs.
“I’m not surprised by that question, and I have no comment,” he replied stoically.
But Beauséjour MP Dominic LeBlanc, the federal minister for intergovernmental affairs, and Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth Marci Ien were happy to discuss the issue.
“I’ve met educators and medical professionals that have real concerns about this,” LeBlanc said. “I think it’s unfortunate to politicize it in a way that has been the case in New Brunswick. It’s such an important and such a sensitive issue for families and for children.
“And I am confident that the people that have stepped forward, including to take this to the courts, I hope will be successful. And we’ll look forward to supporting children who are in this difficult circumstance.”
Ien noted that the policy changes affect “the most vulnerable kids.”
“And so when you’re dealing with queer kids and trans kids in particular, they have to be at the centre of every decision,” she said.
“When I look at the college of psychologists, when I look at educational forums, when I look at a lot of parents in particular, they all say kids come first. And anything that is detrimental to their mental health – and this would be detrimental to their mental health – isn’t a positive.”
Asked for her thoughts about other provinces, like Alberta and Saskatchewan, who appear to be following New Brunswick’s lead on Policy 713, Ien said it’s “highly concerning.”
She then discussed “the escalating hate” around Momentum Canada’s “Rainbow Week of Activism,” which is happening this week, and how organizers of several events have spoken about having to increase security because of “unconscionable” threats.
Ien, standing by her son Dash, said there’s a correlation between increased threats and policy changes like 713.
“We are hearing from the community that things have never been more intense, death threats have never been more intense, and they actually have to hire security and police in order to have a Pride parade, to bring family and community together. So that’s where we’re at.”
Asked what Ottawa can do, given that education is a provincial jurisdiction, Ien said her government is “leading by example, and that’s the thing to do.”

2024.05.16 12:34 neuronvelocity New to the world of Sugar!

I am probably going to sound a but naive but I really want honest feedback for how to proceed. I am totally new to the word of sugar. I also dont know if my status would even appeal to what men are looking for.
The reason I am entertaining stepping into this is because I truly have found myself in this predicament of only having online relationships for the past 6 years. I have had actual sex about 4 years ago prior to the pandemic. Then right before the pandemic I moved to Asia and have been here ever since.
I reunited with old loves online and got really into these fantasy roles while also having an authentic connection. I enjoy online relationships because I don't feel energetically drained and I can focus on the other aspects of my life with more ease. It just makes my life easier navigating in person dating. I am sure it sounds strange, but I have always been very cautious about who I sleep with and I am not the type of woman who feels validated by sex alone. Im also old enough to know that companionship isn't only based on romantic love and that support goes a very long way.
I was looking into joining a sexting type site to see if that would be a way to fill this curiosity of making money off of something that comes naturally to me and that I enjoy. This is when I stubbled on to the world of sugar dating relationships. I know, I feel super behind the times....
I would prefer to meet men who are into this type of arrangement, are sexually satisfied in this way and also want an intelligent woman to listen to them from time to time. I know not everyone is into online, and I am not opposed to connecting in person but I do live in Asia which probably would mean needing to build a connection of trust before either of us were to travel (unless of course he is here in this part of the world).
So my question is are men looking for this type of connection? How to approach this arrangement with these sugar sites? What is a reasonable exchange? Also how to nurture an experience so its isn't just a transaction for him, but truly pleasurable and satisfying?
if you have any advice please share. Thank you!

stand up and podcast
July 11th marks 15 years i've been doing comedy in general since I started in local short form improv in the troupe Improv Jam from 2009-2016, I started doing stand up at 21 and half finally on July 18 2015, i'm a comedy nerd so that date is cool because it's the same one as Dave Chapelle and Patton Oswalt who were at the same first open mic together. Since then i've become beloved( for some weird reason IDK either) in New Jersey, the jersey shore and Jersey City. I have a podcast on Spotify and apple, everywhere you can get podcasts on called What The Heck with Richard Dweck. I interview comics about their start in comedy, I've had headliners such as Gianmarco Soresi, Lou Moon and Dan Wilbur, Keith Reza( protege of Norm McDonald( RIP) who like me is on the autism spectrum, same as Lou Moon. I started it in 2018 but started interviewing comics in 2020 during the pandemic.

2024.05.16 12:33 Dykefromeastjablip Aren’t there are much more important battles to be fought than hashing out how other queer women, femmes, dykes etc. label themselves

Every other post that hits my for you page from this sub is a new iteration of “I hate that xyz group calls themselves a lesbian”. More often than not, it’s some kind of jab against people who aren’t cis or have a non normative gender identity, or bisexual women.
It seems pointlessly bitter and small minded to obsess over the small subset of an already small subset of people who might identify as both lesbian and non-binary or both lesbian and trans masculine etc. It’s not those people who are threatening the right of queer people to exist and express ourselves in our diversity. It’s homophobic, transphobic christofascists who don’t like that cis lesbians exist, don’t like that trans people exist, don’t like that non-binary and gender nonconforming people exist etc. So many people who want to clog the airways of lgbtq discourse endlessly infighting - and rehashing who they think should be allowed to id as lesbian - revert to the very talking points of those same christofascists who also don’t want cis homosexual women to exist.
In that same vein, the argument that bisexual women who ID as lesbian is what causes men to sexually harass and assault lesbians is misogynistic and nonsensical. Do you think that a rapist or a serial sexual harasser would suddenly start caring about consent if a woman said she was a lesbian and he understood that to mean she was an exclusively homosexual woman? It’s not like they read some Reddit post by a a self identified bisexual lesbian and decided lesbians were now fair game. These guys aren’t studying up on queer theory or following online lesbian discourse to decide who they sexually harass. I can’t tell you how many times my masc for masc girlfriend and I have been hit on by men, even in gay bars, and even by men who have admitted that they could tell we weren’t attracted to men from our presentation. Men like that LIVE to cross the line. They are habitual line crossers.
Policing people’s queer identities, gender expression, pronouns, presentation, sexual histories all are not going to make it safer or happier or less confusing to be a lesbian. Expecting people to change how they live or stop existing because their diversity confuses you is fascist. There is no potential utopia where every single person who is a lesbian (or even every cis homosexual femme) is happily in agreement on a definition of the word lesbian that has neat, impermeable boundaries. There will always be people who aren’t your type who are lesbians, people who have different gender expressions than what we can relate to who are lesbians, people who have different views on sexuality than we do who are lesbians, people who we don’t like who are lesbians.
When I was a “baby gay” I spent an inordinate amount of time being frustrated with that fact, and with the fact that I couldn’t find a space for “just [my idea of] lesbians”. As a newly out, insecure homosexual, I resented being outnumbered by bisexual women even in spaces that were explicitly for lesbians. I resented accusations that it was biphobic to be a lesbian who prefers to date other lesbians (I still think that’s valid and not biphobia) because I believed that there was some kind of universal lesbian experience that we could all relate to in a way that bisexual women, many of whom still centered men in their lives, couldn’t. I’ve since realized how misguided it was to assume that there was some kind of universal lesbian experience that we could all kumbaya over as long as we kept the right people out of lesbian spaces. There are as many ways to be a lesbian as there are lesbians. There are lesbians who still benefit from their relationships with men. There are bisexuals who have completely decentered men.
I also realized that I was never going to agree with 100% of the people I shared space with or shared labels with, and the more time I spent resenting that, the less time I was spending just loving women and my fellow lgbtq folks.
Don’t we have better, more interesting things to talk about, better ways to engage with our community than by engaging in endless discourse about how annoyed we are with how other queer people identify? How can we foster a community that celebrates our diversity and engages in respectful discourse even with people we don’t relate to?

2024.05.16 12:32 CinnamonCherryBoy 28 [M4M] US/Anywhere - Looking for a cute nerdy twink/otter to play videogames with (PC) and develop a romantic connection with <3

Relationship/dating based btw.
Hello. This is pretty embarrassing and tacky and I hope it doesn't come off as desperate, posting on Reddit, of all places, but dating apps suck nowadays. I'm a uh... pretty picky person when it comes to dating, physically and personality-wise, even though I shouldn't be.
I don't actually know what to type here! Ideally I want someone who will spend a lot of time with me, someone who isn't so busy, and play video games with me, PC games, because I don't have consoles, well I do, have a Nintendo Switch and I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy, but console online gaming is very limited, and I'm a huge PC gamer. I don't mind long distance. You can live close to me or not, as long as we click and have the same interests and are mutually attracted to eachother, later on we can always move in if things go well. And I mean anywhere, idc if you’re in Canada, Europe… I’ve always wanted to go there!
I have a lot of Steam games, especially co-op games. I've been playing a lot of Genshin Impact lately, and League of Legends is a game I've played for over 10 years, along with FFXIV, which has been over 7 years. Some of my favorite PC games are Divinity Original Sin 2, Dark Souls, Terraria, and Subnautica, and Dead by Daylight. I love JRPG's, really anything anime-related, the Final Fantasy series, Pokemon, Fire Emblem series ((important)), and turn based tactical strategy RPG games in general (think Final Fantasy Tactics).
I love music. My music taste is all over the place, I can listen to anything, but I really love Lana del Rey.
About me, uh, I'm really short, 5'4-5'5, black hair, black eyes, otter-y. Obviously I like video games, anime, TV series, music, I'm a huge gamegeek. I love indie games and VGM. Self-summary's are hard and make it seem like I live a boring life, which, I do. I’m more of an indoorsy person, but I’m looking for someone that’ll get me out of the house, or, to just stay inside with me. I love nature, spirituality, crystals, and cute things. I'm a very open person, very bold, I have an intense personality, I'm not a shy person at all, so if you're shy/introverted, I hope you don't mind if I come across as too forward. I'm pretty extroverted, I never need alone time or space or anything, and would prefer someone also extroverted or more open.
Physically, I like skinny guys, twinks/otters.. Don't really care about age unless you're too young or too old. I like guys with nice hair and nice voices!
Hit me up if you want to. Just please have a picture of yourself, or various ones. Please don't be weird, please don't be too shy or too introverted, please don't be in the closet, please no drugs, and please don't be overly sexual. Please no ghosting. Please have time for me and I'd rather if you weren't much of a busy person.
And take care of me! 🥺
...I hope all of this isn't too demanding.
Thank you! Have a good day! ...I hope all of this didn't sound pretentious or snobby or something, I really don't know how I'm supposed to "advertise" myself on dating stuff. I'm actually not like this at all! I'm super sarcastic, sassy, dark humor, etc.

2024.05.16 12:30 darcats Does the relationships in which the Guy is younger than the woman works for long term?

I'm in a relationship with a woman in her mid 30s and i'm in my first 20s, we are serious about but idk if it would work at future for many reasons, i love her and she says she loves me (its online we will met soon) i know her since almost a year, we started as friends, then best friends then close friends and now its a relationship, since we have a significant age difference, i think we have different life goals, bc in my case im young and i'm just starting my romantic/sexual life, and i want experiences and dates being corny and that, but she probably wants serious things like marriage or kids, bc i remember once she told me she's afraid that soon menopausea will hit her and won't have any chance of having kids, and says that dont like kids, but usually mention things about babies so i guess she wants one, i told her that im not ready for that in at least 10 or 15 years and im sad bc it will be late for her, another point its economy bc she says wants to live with me and wants a traditional relationship, but she knows im a student and i dont have money, and its going to be like this for at least 5 years, also could be problems with sex expectations idk like sex drive differences, we never had sex or did naughty things online so idk if it could work irl, bc she's not a big fan of sexual things but i do, and i feel a bit abandoned in that aspect, i'm also afraid that it wont work well bc what if we broke in idk maybe 5y? I know most relationships are temporal, but she don't understand that, bc she seriously insist that want it forever, shes a bit obsessed and i'll feel like i make her lose her last fertile years with me bc as i told her i dont want babies.
and maybe right now its great, but will be as great when she will be 50 and me in my 30? If you know what i mean and what kind of problems could develop that. Thats why i worry, if she wanted something like short or mid term like 2,5 10 or even 15 years i'll be ok, but she wants an all life relationship, and i know it will affect her bc she's so emotional.
I love her and i'm confortable with her but idk if this would work for us.

2024.05.16 12:28 madaraflan even if I found someone, he wouldn't stay with me

at times that's what I think. I never had sex or kissed anyone, women my age are experienced and sexy and know what they like and all. i panicked the 3 times ii went on a date, two of them insulted me directly and indirectly and the last one could NOT wait to leave. I am finally gaining a bit of weight so i look less like a tall insect but even if i fixed my appearance... what for?
the odds are bad. the man would need to be very very very patient and understanding while i deal with the panic attacks, he would need to be close to blind so he doesn't find my looks repulsive, he would need to be tolerant of my weird attitude because i dont know how to act in a relationship and he would need to be okay with my issues with sex and everything; i don't even know if i could have sex. the idea fills me with dread.
and i'm in ly late thirties so... so why would he go for me? even a desperate man would have more chance with someone fucked up but sexually available who's not full of mental issues... and there are many... usually even women who look bad but are sexually available can find partners... they can be funny and sweet and affectionate... i don't know if I can be that way with someone.
what would I even do in a relationship? would i even be able to be a good girlfriend? i don't want to hurt anyone with my trauma. i don't want to be these people who finally find someone and then shut them out because they don't know how ot act.
anyone sweet and decent would deserve better than what i can offer, if i'm even able to offer anything. i feel like i have a lot of love inside of me but i don't know how to express it. the shame of feeling attraction kills everything inside me.
i feel like i was not made to be a human being with a sex drive and a romantic life. i feel like i was made to be abused by my family and then thrown into the corporate machine and work until I'm dead. is is there affection to get anywhere? and even if I improved my looks so much, the sex is another issue.
threads on reddit show many people don't want to "teach" sex to a partner especially at my age. apparently youre supposed to be an expert of your own body at some undefined age and you should know what you like and what you don't and have your list of sex acts ready to be exchanged with that person so they can gauge whether they'll take a chance on you... it's so weird and not natural to me.
i feel like mayyyybe i would have had a chance at a more "normal" life, if i had undergone trauma therapy much younger but with my abusive family it wasn't possible, and while i was living with them it's not like i could have gotten any better. and mayyyybe if i hadn't started starving myself so young.

2024.05.16 12:26 glwire12 I (28M) am starting to notice red flags with my (26F) girlfriend and I'm scared how things will progress. What will happen if I continue this relationship?

Hi reddit!
2 months ago I met this girl in Korea and we instantly clicked. She is intelligent and passionate about many things. From the day we met we have pretty much been seeing each other almost every day and now we even stay together. It seems to be moving fast but we get along quite well and its the first time she has ever lived with someone like this.
I started to notice a few red flags that I tried to ignore at first. I noticed she would get several Instagram DM notifications from guys and they all tended to be foreigners like me. When I asked how she knows so many guys, she said they were just friends and that I shouldn't worry. I never want to be a paranoid controlling boyfriend so I just took her word for it and moved on.
Later, she casually mentioned that she cheated several times on her ex. I asked how she could feel okay with that and she said that she feels no guilt because he never found out and therefore never got hurt. She also mentioned how her best friend cheats on all her boyfriends and that she thinks there is nothing wrong with it as long as they never find out. I told her that this means she will probably cheat on me too but she said I was different and that I am the first guy who she feels in love with and wants to settle down with.
This tension came to a head when I noticed she was texting a guy on Instagram and agreeing to meet up with him for a drink. When she exited the message I saw a list of guys in her inbox and in one of them, she called the guy babe. I also saw she was still texting her ex and another guy who she intended to meet when she goes to London in August. I went to our room, packed my bags and was ready to leave right there and then until she noticed what I was doing and begged me to talk to her and tell her what was wrong. I told her everything and she explained that she had no intention of meeting anyone and that she calls everyone babe. She apparently only said those things just to gently decline men's invitations later on when she would just flake on them. She then said that those men had girlfriends so there was no way she could possibly date them and she even offered to show me her messages so that I could trust her. I said no because I didn't want to set a toxic precedent for this relationship.
She said that she's not used to being in a serious committed relationship and assumed we were in a situationship and that's why she still talked to those men. But earlier on in our relationship she said she hoped I wasn't still talking to girls I met online. So there's some hypocrisy at work too.
There was another incident when I wanted to show her my favorite film, A Clockwork Orange, and it did not go well. She said she was disgusted, which is fair because it is a dark film. But then she said that maybe I'm not the guy she thought I was because I like this film. She was upset and went to bed.
The other night we went to a club, which really isn't my thing. We met her friend and I told her to have fun while I go outside and chill. Things were fine until I saw her talking to a bunch of guys and I could see by the body language that she was talking and gazing at this one tall guy with keen interest. I ignored it until I saw them exchange each other's Instagram's. There is nothing wrong with that alone, but I could just feel that deep inside she was attracted to this one tall guy and I could see it in her eyes and posture. So I decided to leave. I was about to leave in my uber until she came running out and told me she can't believe I'm leaving without her. Turns out her friend saw me leaving and told her so she panicked and ran out the club.
I told her that I could just feel that she was liked the male attention and it felt like she was monkey branching. She told me she just wanted connections for when she went to England. Turns out these guys came from the UK. She then begged me to trust her and started posting me on her IG story to let people know she wasn't single.
She tells me how she praises me in front of her friends and family and that I'm the first guy she has ever truly felt something for. She says she is trying her best to make me feel secure by ghosting all her male Instagram buddies and promising that she will never cheat. She smothers me with affection and always tells me how much she adores me. Trust me, I feel like an idiot because these are huge red flags and yet I'm still with her. The only reason I am with her is because I'm just not that much invested into this relationship and I don't feel hurt that deeply by these red flags. I know that I can just find someone else if this relationship doesn't work out so I'm taking this casually.
My question to reddit is not whether I should leave or not (because I think we all know the answer to that), but what do you think will happen if I continue this relationship? I hope you guys can share your experiences so that I am more motivated to rip off the band aid and just end things here and now.
TL;DR: My 2 month girlfriend has a history of cheating and she loves to get male attention and I have seen her texting exes and calling a guy babe on instagram. She promised me that she will never do anything to break my trust again and that she really does see me as a potential husband. What will happen if I continue this relationship? Will things get worse the longer it continues? Thanks everyone.

2024.05.16 12:25 tiredprocessor Societal lot of life and being ftm. Are my takes skewed?

We discuss this a ton on here but I'm curious if what I hear in my circles reflect what others do experience. Society have a couple of "ladders" (ugh, I hate to say it) and we as ftm, like everyone else, get placed on a rung based on all the superficial sh*t. We talk a lot here about preferences and how they play into our lot of life in different contexts.
**TL;DR: (Since I suck at staying brief.) Do you agree in us downgrading our status of sexual desirability in the dating pool making it easier for us to find people that actually "likes us for us" but get fewer matches ...? I've heard a lot of bi women and gay dudes being fine with dating us but under some "conditions" [being a feminist and not being the big bodied+hairless-combo respectively], is that true...? Also do you also feel you've added additional struggle to your careestatus pursuit and relationship dynamics...?
... In your experience transitioning/being ftm?**
Like, as cis women some of us ftm (later blooming-, and average and up- [in conventional attractiveness] being people) experienced being at the apex of desirability in the dating pool has fallen into the sea of dudes transitioning, navigating height requirements and our income having a larger effect on our ability to attract women. Or genital preferences, body hair growth ability and/or body weight preferences making it harder to attract people of all genders. Like we get an easier time in guaranteeing finding partners that really likes us for who we are (not just our bodies) but end up with fewer matches. Do you have a similar impression to me on the dating ladder situation for us?
According to a lot of my less superficial bi woman friends, they'd choose a trans guy over a cis one IF he'd have had experience in living as a woman and is a feminist at heart. Just based on the understanding +support that brings. But not all of us have lived as women and not all of us are feminists (unfortunately on the latter, albeit true.) Also they mentioned our personal hygiene/caring for our appearance being better which I think might be true shrug. The gay guys I know don't seem to give much of a sh*t about their partners cis-ness, as long as we've got a masculine physique and AREN'T big bodied without body hair and a beard (they really got their types down. Unluckily for us hair growth is out of our control.) Straight women are a mixed bag but most want the expected masculine genital setup. Is your experience different regarding people's openness to dating us ftm?
Second the careestatus and commitment holder-ladder (with commitment holder, I mean the one having more assets usually having a higher degree of control over marriage, cohabitating/common law and other legal/monetary commitments in their relationships.) Cis guys are obviously at the top, but we don't advance to their level of privilege until passing entirely, which in turn is also a privilege (genetics and monetary assets often being the determining factors of how "well" [ugh again] we transition.) So most of us end up stuck being treated as women, but without the underlying sexual pursuit- dynamics working in our favour so we lose opportunities. Are these things the same where you guys live? I'm closeted career wise due to all of the above.
In our relationships all the above ends up putting us in both the sexual and commitment pursuing categories unless; we pass, we're poly, t4t, and/or our partner is struggling. Thus I mostly date within my (personally) perceived attractiveness and income/status bracket. What's your take on our change with regards to status in intra-relationship power dynamics? (Because they exist the moment an discrepancy is concurrent [which they always are], no matter how much people deny it.*)
  • Disclaimer: In an healthy relationship one acknowledge them and take decisions as a couple/cule to level the playing ground for those involved. Equality should be the focus not equity, since everyone has a different offset and relationships should add to everyones life. Not feel like a putdown.
Thanks for reading my jumbled put together thoughts. I'd love to hear others take on this so feel free to comment.

2024.05.16 12:22 bodieboom Connecting with people

I feel like such a weird person I don’t relate to most or all of my circle not that I have a lot to begin with, my connection with my family isn’t strong and not sure how to build it I don’t have friends even online and don’t talk much with people in my work, don’t last long when trying to build relationships in dates I feel like something is wrong or do I have autism.
It’s hard for me to talk out loud or start conversations, when trying to talk to people my brain sometimes doesn’t know what to say as if I’m being judged all the time or freezes.
Also hard for me to connect with people on a deeper level even though I really want to and really don’t like having casual relationships
It might be because I choose to be with certain people and thinking like no one has the same interests as me.

2024.05.16 12:22 SageOfNineRealms Inner conflict causing a lot of stress

I feel I have two options in life
  1. Become rich in money (find a way to own or start a business that profits me $10k+/month) so I can buy anything I’d like and Take care of those I love, travel the world, build cars and (as much as I hate to admit this) live up to the expectations I feel some people I care about have for me. I for some reason worry about them looking down on me (it’s strange I have always never cared about what others thought till the last couple years it’s gotten pretty bad)
Now this life would consist of a lot of materialistic wealth and happiness thanks to everything I could buy with money but due to all the time I’d be putting into a business that hits $10k a month I’d lose a lot of my day to day life resulting with me losing priceless time with people I care for and even doing things I want to do… what good is it to have all the materialistic stuff if you can’t even have time off to enjoy it yourself or with the ones you love?
Side note: it would be easy to find love again because let’s be honest who wouldn’t want to be with a “rich” guy who can buy you the car you want and take you to that fancy restaurant or buy you that pretty dress you saw online?
  1. Live a minimalist life (studio apartment or van life) now this life would be a simplistic life I’d have plenty of time off in my day to day life because I’d either be living off disability due to heart issues (I’ve had 2 recorded heart attacks) and if I can’t get disability then I’d just work 3 days out of the week which would give me 4 days off to do whatever I please now if I can get disability then obviously I’d have everyday off doing whatever I please whenever I want as long as it costs no money or very little amount. which leads me to my next point which is I’d have very little money to do much but I’d have plenty of time to be with family and friends… the other issue is I’ve always wanted to travel the world but with option 2 I wouldn’t be able to travel to other countries as often as I’d like but idk maybe I could maybe I’m over estimating how expensive traveling out of country is (I’ve never traveled in my life other then by car to other states as a kid. This is why I mentioned van life is because the cheap life style would also allow me to travel all over the US freely as well.
I worry about this life style because I don’t want to be looked at as a failure or regret my decision down the road. Or be a bad example for my kid or have my kid look at me as a failure. (This life style can give me all the time in the world to spend every minute I can with my kid when they want me to be there for them)
Side note: this life style I feel will be a very lonely or single life due to not being considered the best provider for a potential significant other. I love, love. I feel it may be hard to find someone who will want to be with me if I chose this life style
I should mention I am 24 years old.

2024.05.16 12:22 aldonin Bonds Pricing

Bonds Pricing
Hi there community. I want to move most of my cash position to bonds and had some questions.
For all questions I will use as example the first listed bond on the attached image and assume I am buying 1 bond (although minimum is 1,000) only to keep it simple:
Maturity date: 6/27/2024
Yield (bid) 5.396
Yield to maturity 5.390
3rd Party Price 99.372
Q1 - What yield will I get if I buy one bond today: the bidding yield? the yield to maturity?
Q2 - I've read in this sub multiple comments about income from bonds being subject to "changes". If I buy this bond today and keep it till maturity date what are these variables that can make my income fluctuate?
Q3 - What is 3rd Party Price and what does it mean its below 100 for this bond?
As always I appreciate you all. Thank you!

2024.05.16 12:22 Puca_Illust Best bars for introverts?

Looking for bars or other places in and around Winchester that are good for introverts, don’t have to be advertised as such just looking for places to bring dates or meet people.
Places that are more relaxed and quiet or have things to focus on to break up awkward silences are ideal if you know any.
An example of what I mean would be board game cafes/bars, I went into quite a few of these when visiting America and loved them. Closest thing here would be CGC but they haven’t opened their new location yet AFAIK

Chat-GPT4o sets a new low bar on avoiding AI Detection
Three different detectors:

So it seems that the level of prompt engineering has been dramatically lowered in 4o to easily bypass quite a few online AI detectors.
Example of an AI generated text:
One big problem with trying to use a system like this is that AI detection tech just isn't good enough right now. It's really hard to figure out if a student's work was made by AI or not. This makes it tough to apply the rules fairly to everyone. If someone uses AI in a sneaky way and the detection tools miss it they might end up with an unfair advantage over students who follow the rules strictly. On the flip side students who don’t use AI might get flagged by mistake causing a lot of drama and making people lose faith in the system. The inconsistent detection means some students could get punished or rewarded based on the messed-up detection tools instead of their actual work. Plus expecting students to honestly report their use of AI is tricky. It assumes everyone will play by the rules which might not happen. Some might lie or not fully get the guidelines making things even more unfair. The uneven enforcement and crappy AI detection tech make it hard to pull off this kind of system effectively.
I simply asked it a question about a system of classifying AI usage (https://twitter.com/kevinudlmerry/status/1790749701387489702/photo/1)
and then asked it to write in a conversational style, avoid adjectives and them I had it remove all commas (removing all commas throws a lot of AI detectors).
Blitzed the AI detectors without anything further.
I've tried this with 10 different pieces of text now, across six leading AI detectors, including some paid-for versions, and it seems that 4o and only very, very minor text style and punctuation changes (done by the AI itself) completely throw right now.
One things for certain, throwing the AI detectors is much, much less work than with Chat-GPT3.5 or even 4. Both of which could achieve similar results, but needed extensive prompt engineering to do so.
Testing for educational purposes only, and welcome your feedback.

2024.05.16 12:19 Glittering_Year_9456 freshie matriculation

hi all, have some qns abt the matriculation process(returning nsmen). i’ve read the ntu website and im more or less aware of the dates and timeline of the process. but just want to check, if i can matriculate while overseas? bc i know that for the network creation & activation, i will need +65 number sms otp for 2fa. Lets say in the event that things go wrong and im unable to receive sms while overseas, can i link an immediate family’s phone number for the 2fa instead? Is there anything else that requires me to be physically in SG or need my sg number to do the necessary?(hall apps, matriculating online, etc) Also, i read about some globalprotect vpn which i presume its for the ntu intranet. In that case, would i need use a laptop overseas to set it up? Or is the vpn thingy not required for the matriculation process and its only necessary for when the course officially starts. appreciate if anyone is willing to share roughly the specifics! sorry for all the qns, i just dw fly back in the middle of trip lmao, thanks guys!
