No obstante si no pago instagram ads, casi no recibo followers nuevos.
Me debería rendir??

2024.05.17 04:47 bennytwenty UCSB vs Ohio State: Psychology and Neuroscience Major Seeking Insights
I'm a prospective student considering UC Santa Barbara and Ohio State University for their psychology and neuroscience programs. I'm hoping to become a doctor in the future and both schools offer unique opportunities. However, I'd love to hear from people who have experience with either of these schools.
Some specific questions I have include:
· What are the strengths and weaknesses of each program? · What are the faculty and advisors like? · What kind of research opportunities are available to undergraduates? · How is the campus culture and community? · Are there any specific resources or support services for pre-med students? · How do the schools support students in pursuing graduate programs or medical school
Ultimately, do people think one school is significantly better than the other for psychology and neuroscience majors, and why or why not?
Thanks in advance for sharing your insights and experiences!

2024.05.17 02:17 defective_lightsaber Why does everyone hate TLOU part 2?
I finished playing the game today and I was completely satisfied with all of it. I thought Joel’s death wasn’t a mistake because his character didn’t have anywhere to go. I went into the game with fairly low expectations because of what I had heard but other than a couple of scenes (yk the one I’m talking about) I couldn’t see anything wrong. For day 1 as Abby I’ll admit I didn’t like that I was playing as her but I realised that she did less damage to ellie than ellie and Joel did to her. I also thought that Abby’s story would just be trailing ellie so I’m glad it was completely different. I liked the LGBTQ representation in it. It wasn’t shoved in your face so the studio could check a box but it all worked well. Lev’s character felt very natural and tbh I think he could make an interesting side character in part 3 if they decide to keep him and Abby in the story. You don’t see much of Lev after Seattle only a few lines of dialogue in Santa Barbara before being decked. After his family died he could have some serious development. I do have some letdowns that don’t ruin the game but could have added to it. One is Tommy being absent for most of the game. He was at the start and end of part 1 as well and I was hoping this time around he would accompany Ellie during Seattle and maybe be playable as well if ellie had been captured or something. It seems a waste that he’s now not fit to fight after being a character that’s constantly mentioned and has a history similar to Joel’s so could probably take on some similar feats. Another thing I would improve on is having the game be more similar in terms of the journey to part 1. I felt like it was going to be a short game after I suddenly appeared in Seattle. There could have been another community that you run into on the way that then follows you through Seattle causing problems. I’m no games designer but ik that sounds like too much to have in one game but there could have been some relevant journey to Seattle or maybe for ellie on her way to Santa Barbara there could have been small outposts of wranglers (I can’t remember their names) because it felt like they just appeared out of nowhere. Ik I started this post saying it was a good game and then went on about improvements but these are just small things. I liked the game overall. The 4 days was a nice touch so you could track what ellie was doing when playing as Abby. Ellie sparing Abby made sense to me as she would be just as bad as her is she killed her. I think she knew this as well when she had the flashback of Joel as she was killing Abby. I also think I sympathise more with Abby than I do with ellie. Ellie knew Joel for 5(ish) years and wasn’t close to him for 2 years after Joel confessed. Abby on the other hand lost her dad causing her to kill Joel then lost her childhood boyfriend ( I do find it weird that’s there’s no mention to their inappropriate relationship) and all the friends she had made since losing her dad. I’m prepared for the heavy fire that is the

Bom noite, meus lindes!

Entrei no Uber e fui pra casa. Tô me sentindo um merda.

2024.05.16 17:52 Littl3mata Ellie never wanted to join the Fireflies, and never will.
Edit : I can't edit the post title. I've probably used the wrong terms as I see most people don't get what I'm trying to say. Ellie will not go search the Fireflies in part III because of her character development. That doesn't mean there will be no Fireflies or they won't potentially look for her.
It's a big misconception I've seen a lot, despite the games and comics telling us otherwise. There's only one reason Ellie wants to get to the Fireflies in part I, it's to save her loved ones, so that what happenned with Riley then Tess never happens again.
Before the events of part I, in the comics American Daughters, Ellie told Riley who is a fresh recruit to basically fuck them all and that they should run away together and find a place to live far away from the QZ. In the comics Ellie shows no interests whatsoever in joining the cause while Riley truly believe bringing back democracy will give them freedom. Once again, in Left Behind, Ellie repeat her plea to Riley, with success this time, Riley finally accept to leave the Fireflies and they're going to run away. But before they could, they got bitten.
During part I, she's more hopefull and wants to believe in the cause of making a cure, because that way Riley and Tess's death would have meant something. They would have been the last to die this way in Ellie's world : " It can't be for nothing ".
Throughtout part II, it is indicated that Ellie totally changed her opinion about them and their cause. First in the Wyoming Museeum, with all the writings on the walls of the disillusioned Firefly who ended his life. The "LIARS" also has a double meaning, the loss of trust in Joel, but also in the cause of the Fireflies. Ellie is unconsciously starting to integrate that their values and morals were not that pure and innocent.
And finally, the indisputable proof that Ellie's view of the Fireflies really changed towards the end of part II can be found in her journal, during Santa Barbara. Ellie drew the logos of the Rattlers, and underneath, wrote : " Scars. Wolves. Fireflies. Fuck all these groups ". Ellie is grouping them with a bunch of cultists, brutal militias and slavers, and tells them a big " fuck y'all ", clearly indicating she does no longer believe at all in their cause. In many ways, Ellie is much more closer to Joel's mindset on this subject in the end of the game, he never truly trusted the Fireflies...
