2024.05.19 04:55 underrated_TNT T-Zombies

T-Zombies
T-Zombies are one of the most common and basic enemies in the Resident Evil universe. Despite their common extremes, it does not mean that they are weak. In fact, compared to normal humans they are strong. Based on this I decided to put together some statements and feats about them. But first lets define what a T-zombie is:
Biohazard kaitaishisho
"ZOMBIE (p.057) Things which were people whose genetic structure was altered as a result of being infected with the t-Virus. It's called a Zombie because its skin decomposes, intelligence is lost and it shows aspects just like a "living corpse." Many of the Zombies seen in this incident were things accidentally created due to an accident that leaked the virus, but it seems they were originally studied with the aim of producing them as weapons. They're driven by hunger and actively touch other creatures in search of flesh, so as a result they can efficiently spread the virus."
Now lets see some statements indicate their strenght:
Biohazard kaitaishisho
"DATA ON THE t-VIRUS 【Summary】A new class of RNA virus developed by Umbrella. Also included are variant types created in research experiments. 【Characteristics】The capacity for environmental adaptation's known to be high and every living thing serves as a vector of infection. 【Infected Organism Characteristics】Miraculous durability and offensive ability, general characteristic of ferociousness. There are many examples of bodies becoming large. Intelligence generally decreases, but may increase before infection extremely rarely."
Biohazard 0 kaitaishinsho
"ZOMBIE (p.054) If a human's exposed to the t-Virus, the body will undergo a mutation within a very short time. The skin will start to decay with brain cells containing memories being completely destroyed. Meanwhile the carrier's metabolism will be highly augmented, enabling a Zombie to possess great strength much more powerful than regular people. Thus these monsters are referred to as "living dead risen from the grave." Even though the functions of their hearts, lungs and brains have ceased, they can still rise as a Zombie."
BIO HAZARD Director's Cut Official Perfect Guide inside of BIO-HAZARD
"For humans afflicted with the Clay Virus ε-variant strain, the cerebral neocortex necrotizes, something of a brain dead state, their behavior limited to nothing but simple-minded survival activity, acting in accordance with their instincts. As a result they are driven by a sense of starvation, pathetic beings that merely roam in search of food. Moreover, although an unusual secretion of growth hormone causes the body to grow in size, outward appearance becomes that of a decomposed corpse itself due to a remarkable decline in metabolic functions."
Based on this we can clearly see that zombies are stronger than normal humans, not only because that is exactly what the t-virus does but also because it is directly said. and the "rotten" appearance is caused by the decline of metabolic functions, but just because the zombie's appearance is that of a rotten body does not mean that it is weak.
Now for some feats:
Zombies can survive being hit by a semitruck going at high speeds.(Resident evil 2 Remake)
Can break a thick layer of ice while being inside the ice.(Resident evil Code veronica)
They can survive multiple shots and explosions.(RE3)
1 Zombie can easily tear a person in half in a couple seconds.(Resident evil 2 Remake)
A zombie killed a Stars member in a 1V1 encounter. (Resident Evil).
File in umbrella chonicles
"KENNETH J. SULLIVAN
A member of S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team, he is a veteran who can be trusted to bring his vast experience and wisdom to his investigations. He is charged with recon and position security. He made it to the mansion, but was soon overtaken and became a meal for a zombie."
BIO HAZARD Director's Cut Official Perfect Guide inside of BIO-HAZARD
"Name/ Kenneth J. Sullivan Age/ 45 Blood type/ O Height/ 188cm Weight/ 96.8kg Fingerprint/ Technical Skills/ Holds a Ph.D in chemistry, specializes in protective measures against chemical weapons. Position/ PM (Point Man) Note/ A landscape gardening enthusiast with a dog training hobby."
"PM (Point Man) Location scouts on the front-line during missions. Reconnaissance and securing positions ahead of time are their duties. The most resourceful officer often falls in this category."
biohazard Kaitai Shinsho
"The oldest veteran member of S.T.A.R.S. He appears stern and of few words but has a gentle personality. He handled the dangerous duties of reconnaissance and securing positions, with his capabilities renowned by everyone."
This is impressive because stars member are incredibly capable as stated in guides and files:
BIO HAZARD Director's Cut Official Perfect Guide inside of BIO-HAZARD
"FILE 1: S.T.A.R.S. INTERNAL DOCUMENTS (p.013) This file is a textbook prepared for the S.T.A.R.S. officers just before the Biohazard Case in Raccoon City. At a glance it looks like an ordinary manual but based on the fact it describes hostiles presumed to possess higher-than-human capabilities, it's considered indirect evidence of the encounters between the S.T.A.R.S. officers and Bio Organic Weapons having been set up. In addition, the preface by S.T.A.R.S. Captain Albert Wesker is introduced below.
(First part omitted) ...I was delivered this manual concerning various skills you should master as my S.T.A.R.S. officers. However, these are the bare minimum essentials and you should be informed of further skill acquisition to be performed through actual combat."
"Nature of the Organization
Although S.T.A.R.S. should originally only be part of a police force, it differs from public institutions including the regular police to some extent due to its unique circumstances (its sponsors are private companies). The characteristics of its screening during enlistment are particularly striking and, based on the ability-orientated elite group's reputation, recruitment is carried out under a scouting system on a merit basis, regardless of sex, age or personal history.
Function Details As mentioned earlier, the missions of S.T.A.R.S. are special operations, but specifically, its four main duties are preserving public order, VIP escort, counter-terrorism, and hostage rescue. In counter-terror ops in particular, their capabilities are estimated to be equal to the SAS (Special Air Service), known as the best in the world."
As we can here, the stars members were expected to face hostiles with higher-than-human-capabilities, being a basic skill in their manual. And their capabilities were estimated to equal to SAS, Known as the best in the world. Not only that but the members were chosen with basis on merit. A hand picked group of specialists, the best of the best. As its shown in a file in RE umbrella chronicles:
"S.T.A.R.S.
Special Tactics and Rescue Service, or S.T.A.R.S., was established within the Raccoon Police Department and is divided into an Alpha Team and Bravo Team.
This elite group was formed to respond to terrorism, organized crime, and emergencies too difficult for the regular police force to handle. Its members include a hand-picked group of specialists, the best of the best.
Their funding was provided by a grant from private corporations, most notably Umbrella Corporation."
So a zombie killing Kenneth is a good feat for the zombie.
In code veronica a zombie survives being in epicenter of a big explosion, that explosion was calced at wall level+, 3Kg of TNT. Calc
And zombies can hurt eachother so their AP scales to their durability(1:36:05)
So based on this zombies are very strong and can be used to scale other characters.

2024.05.19 04:54 LLLNNNGGG Basic Skyrim Xbox logical load order (LLO) template with “vanilla plus+” examples (2024)

This is for us normies who don’t want to sift through a hundred youtube videos just to figure out basic information that should be readily available. This guide is designed for people who are new to modding.
This LLO follows Brxsie’s model. For more detailed info on categorization refer to their reddit post.
You can leave out any mod on this list that you don’t want except for USSEP.
Key:
*= my personal notes explaining what a mod does or why I added it
e.g. = extra examples of popular mods that should be placed in that category
Blurb
(skip this section if you want the quick version of this post)
Hi everyone; I’m not a modder nor a PC player, but I was desperate to figure out how to safely load my game with reasonable lore-friendly updates. Every LLO guide I’ve found so far has either been outdated, contradictory to other sources, does not specify which mods fall under what category, is way too vague, or way too specific. The mods I’ve listed here should be easily searchable on the recently updated Xbox creations menu so that any Xbox player can easily copy this list. Originally, I was just recording my LLO for my own personal use, but I figured this could help people who don’t have the time to put in as much research as I have.
If you are brand new to modding, vanilla+ means that you want to stay faithful to the original game as much as possible while upgrading the look of your Skyrim world and making a few convenient tweaks. The least “true to the original game” mod on this list is convenient horses. In my experience so far, this LLO plays just as smoothly as vanilla Skyrim.
Unless I wrote a note next to the mod stating otherwise, all of these mods are independent of one another, except for: divine atmosphere, divine atmosphere snowflake edit, and realistic snowflakes. If you like the ugly fractal snowflakes in divine atmosphere then don’t bother with the other two mods, but if not, you need the vanilla snowflake edit and the snowflake texture mod to go together. Therefore, you can leave out any mod on this list that you don’t want except for USSEP), and the game will function normally.
To customize settings of mods while in-game, go to magic -> powers. “Equip” the mod you want to change and press RB once out of the menu. This is relevant to divine atmospheres, divine interiors, flute finder, convenient horses, and some dialogue mods.
Most mods on this list can be downloaded or deleted safely while playing a pre-existing save file. Deleting mods become problematic when you have already added and interacted with a custom item to the game and then delete the mod that supported the item. When testing new mods, I suggest only adding a few at a time so that you know what to delete if you encounter any issues.
If you are reading this on a laptop or PC, you can press command/control F to search for keywords of the mods you want to install to find where they belong in the LLO.
Personally, my favorite mods that I’ve added to the game are the dialogue mods and the texture mods. They make Skyrim feel like a real world with real people living in it and I would highly suggest using some or all of them. I’d also love to hear everyone’s suggestions on proposed edits to this load order. Please let me know if you are aware of any conflicting mods or bugs, or if I have made any mistakes in my layperson's explanation of techy stuff. Unsure if this is relevant information, but I’m located in the USA.
Extra notes:
What the heck is a leveled list? A leveled list is a change in the code that makes changes to certain values. Such as changing how much gold a character has or how powerful an enemy is.
And what exactly is an area edit? An area edit is any mod that adds or significantly changes a location in the game. This includes adding extra trees, adding extra smelters, or adding custom player homes that do not exist in vanilla, among other things.
Why are there all of these categories and why is it so complicated? LLO sorts mods so that the game can load the most important files first. When LLO is not followed, the game will inevitably crash. Categories allow us to sort mods into the LLO based on how they interact with the game's code. People sometimes disagree on what order to put the categories in, but all LLO templates use the same basic categories.
I do not use immersive citizens AI because multiple people have reported bugs. Other people have no issues with it, but I prefer to stay on the safe side.
Remember to lower your in-game brightness, especially when you are using divine interiors and divine atmospheres. If the brightness is all the way up, things will start to glow. You will have to use torches in locations with zero light, such as corners in caves. This adds a realistic feel to the game. If you give a torch to your follower, they will automatically use it in in low-light conditions. I switch between default/glimmegrim/vivid depending on where I am and how colorful I want things to be. The game may look darker overall as you can see in the screenshots, but this is more true to how lighting works in the real world.
Skyrim 101 tip: When you ditch items to reduce your carry weight, store them somewhere (such as a dead body or a chest) instead of dropping them on the ground. If you drop items all over your game it will eventually lag.
When creating a new character, keep in mind that once you start playing, you might change the lighting and make the colors more saturated. For example: I accidentally gave myself yellow hair instead of natural blonde because I forgot about lighting and atmosphere changes. This is another reason to install the vanity mirror mod, which allows you to change your character mid-game.
Storage space: all of the mods I have listed here take up approximately 4.36GB.
I suggest keeping a note of your LLO on your phone so that you can easily categorize mods you want to add the future.
Sometimes LLO will not save, so I recommend double-checking that everything landed in the right spot or backing up your LLO to bethesda before exiting the LLO menu.
Sometimes you need to restart your game to enable a newly installed mod.
How to delete a complex mod without causing problems: disable the mod, hard reset (hold power button for 10 secs or unplug the console), uninstall the mod, hard reset.
I’ve noticed a bug where I cannot tell my follower (Lydia) to do anything in “command mode”. I don’t know what’s causing this- it seems like a dialogue issue but I rarely use the command mode feature anyway so it’s small enough for me to ignore for now. Let me know if you find out what's causing this!
*Blurb over\*
Master Files
Foundations: Lots of game changes (e.g. cheat room, encounters overhaul, etc.)
Dialogue Overhauls
Fonts/UI (excluding map mods)
Alterations to vanilla quests
Any craftable item
Game mechanic changes: races, perks, vampires, adoptions, etc.
Level Progression (e.g. Clever leveling)
Perk overhauls/changes
Magic additions and modifications
Leveled list changes (e.g. rebalanced leveled lists)
NPC Leveled list (e.g. organized bandits in skyrim)
Any audio
Weather and Atmosphere (put weather up ^ in LLO if the mod is just a weather mod and not an atmosphere mod)
Grass
Grass Fixes
Skin/skeleton physics and appearance changes
Animation mods
Meshes and Textures
*The mods I’ve listed in this section should cover almost every visual in the game. Nothing is too drastic of a style change and fits right in to the game’s vibe.
Non-combat NPC AI
Immersion (e.g. immersive patrols, landlord etc.) - can be tricky to categorize
Anything that changes a character’s/npc face or hair (e.g natural eyes)
Interior lighting changes
Interior decorating changes
Lightweight multiple area edits
Single area edits like player homes
Multiple area edits (e.g. divine cities)
*I do not recommend divine cities or divine villages because it can be buggy. One time Lydia got permanently stuck in a modded tavern and I had to backtrack through an hour of progress to get her back out
Adding individual unique objects
Combat changes, combat AI (e.g. realistic damage, wildcat)
Unique follower mods (e.g. Sofia)
Mods that add new quests (mods that alter vanilla quests do not go here)
Map mods
Mods that specify bottom LO

2024.05.19 04:48 PoolCold3906 My Journey Developing an Application with Zero Coding Experience: Introducing Uni Explorer

Hey everyone,
I want to share my journey of developing my first mobile application, Uni Explorer, using React Native, in hopes that it will motivate you to take the plunge and develop an application yourself. Not only can you bring your ideas to life, but you can also make money from it.
It took me about five months to bring Uni Explorer to life, and I’m proud to say it has been downloaded over 500 times in just two weeks! What makes this journey special is that I had zero coding experience before I started. The idea for Uni Explorer came to me when I realized how challenging it was to find comprehensive information about universities, IELTS courses, and consultants all in one place. I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a solution.
You can use it for free and share with your friends or relatives who might find it useful. You can search "Uni Explorer" on Google Play Store and Apple Store. Download from there.
I relied heavily on online resources to learn everything I needed. ChatGPT was an incredible tool for answering my questions and guiding me through coding challenges. Stack Overflow became my go-to for troubleshooting specific issues, while YouTube tutorials and free courses on Coursera, Meta, and Udemy provided structured learning paths and hands-on projects that were crucial for understanding the basics and advanced concepts of application development.
The journey was far from easy. Collecting and organizing a large dataset from universities, consultants, and IELTS course providers was one of the most time-consuming parts. However, the satisfaction of overcoming these hurdles and seeing my application live on the application stores made it all worthwhile.
If there's one piece of advice I can offer, it's this: don't let the lack of experience deter you from pursuing your ideas. The resources available online today make it entirely possible to learn and build something amazing from scratch. Take your time, be patient with yourself, and stay persistent. You might just surprise yourself with what you can achieve.
I hope my story inspires some of you to take that first step towards bringing your own ideas to life. Not only can you create something valuable, but you can also open up new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Best of luck to everyone on their own journeys!

2024.05.19 04:30 Popculturebuff2002 Brand New Television show idea

Hello Everyone,
I would like to share with you an idea me and a friend of mine had. We are working on a pilot for this. But we are wanting to do a show that is inspired by the movie Free Guy. It is called The Personality Factory. We have a lot of the details ready and everything.
Characters (FaithArt, Werehog, Wally art, and Error FaithArt belong to https://www.instagram.com/thefandomhunter?igsh=MXNlaGdhajB5dHFsNw==):
Ryl33 - Ryl33 is an A.I. girl who was once a CPU until she was mysteriously given her dreamy and kind personality. She is shown to be caring and a big hearted dreamer which is something her brother Brayd3n used to be. During the PIlot she works on trying to get her older brother Brayd3non board with helping her achieve free will for all of PIXELMANIA and show everyone can be more than their program
Brayd3n - Brayd3n is an A.I. boy who has an entertaining personality and was given it 5 years prior to the events of the pilot. He is dramatic, big hearted like his sister Rylee with a dash of comedy thrown into the mix, theatrical, and sometimes awkward. He enjoys entertaining others with his shows and performances yet he has a bit of guilt and trauma. He will continuously decline Rylee’s offer to help with the factory. He resides in Astral Glow
FaithArt - FaithArt another being from another world that came to this world to come help with the adventures of the factory gang, but she has programming that prevents her from inferring too much or telling the future but does her best to help out.
Werehog - one of FaithArts best friends since his world was created they’re really close and would do anything for eachother, colossal Werehog is a very sweet gentle giant that has a temper here and there and a mysterious past but is willing to help anyone with their emotional needs and is a huge hugger
WallyArt - he was found in his dying universe by FaithArt and was givin a new job to help FaithArt and Werehog any Chance he gets, he's a very sweet and gentle person that is very soft spoken and loves to paint as much as Faith. And is a medical professional both mentally and physically.
L!am - L!am is a CPU and a thief of PIXELMANIA and leader of the Rogers for…reasons. In the pilot he torments others in the many locations Rylee and Charlie go to and unknowingly distracts everyone from Rylee’s big idea. He was an orphan at a young age and refused to go to the orphanage. He can be immature yet caring and a real potty mouth.
Charl1e - Charl1e is a CPU assistant programmed to help Rylee as she is her boss. Charlie is organized and keeps to a schedule. Going against her program could cause catastrophic disasters
Error Faith - is a very vengeful version of FaithArt who's world was destroyed in a glitchy mess and she hates Faith for not saving her world from everything so she wants to destroy every single world/ universe that exists and rule both PIXELMANIA and inkblot.
Bright_Man - Bright_Man is a councilor CPU and the former leader of the PIXELMANIA council as he was demoted for an undisclosed reason. He is like a school bully and, like L!am, he is a potty mouth. Bright_Man has a huge hatred against Brayden and whenever he gets the chance he tries to boo Brayden off the stage and, secretly, try to kill him.
World Building: In the alternate video game like world of PIXELMANIA there are 4 sections consisting of Astral Glow, Hollows Village, Expo Canyon, and Speedway City. All four are connected by a special place called Console Centre
Astral Glow is a gorgeous world full of magic and wonder. CPUs learn all kinds of magic to become wizards, witches, warlocks, and fantasy styled warriors. CPU Faries also reside in this part of the world. Their houses are made of pure magic and can be in the air and the trees. They can even live in castles. There are many different magical locations here
Hollows Village is a land with a horrifying landscape, dark skies, and terrible monsters such as Werewolves, Zombies, Mummies, etc. Their houses are either cabins or mansions, or they can just sleep out in the dark forests of Talbot. Not many other locations other than the cemetery
Expo Canyon is a land full of perilous locations such as Volcanoes and dangerous seas. Their houses are hanging off of cliffs, on the water, in the trees and in other dangerous parts of the world
Speedway City is like a huge racetrack with no sidewalks at all. The only walking there is inside the houses which are racing garages or motorhomes for race cars. Speedway City is a fun place where you can race your heart out of the city in a fun way. But you can also race on the literal raceway and win big prizes
Console Centre is the center of all PIXELMANIA and the main land to all CPUs. This is where many CPUs can chill, meet new people (since CPUs are allowed to have friends as they are not soulless), and shop for themselves…Think of Free Guy almost
The Personality Factory is where all CPUs are made in the first place. All of the coded blood is stored in a special vault and placed into the CPU before color and customization begins. They are given their program through a Personality Randomizer which randomly gives the CPU their personality and how they act all day long. It is located on a small platform connected to the Console Centre.
Age Rating: TV-MA
Reasoning for the age rating: Lots of swearing (especially by Brayden and Liam), stylized yet bloody violence, and mature content
Premise: In an alternate video game-like world, Rylee, an A.I., goes out to pursue her dream of giving everyone the same free will that she has by giving them all the unique personality they choose to have. She creates a personality selector not knowing there is a history behind it. She seeks the help of her A.I. older brother Brayden with her assistant Charlie and some unexpected allies by her side.

2024.05.19 02:14 PropBet Offshore Sportsbooks for US Customers

Best Offshore Sportsbook for 2024

Offshore Sportsbooks: Competitive Odds, Diverse Markets, and Freedom to Wager

What Sets Offshore Sportsbooks Apart?
The landscape of sports betting is rapidly evolving, with offshore sportsbooks emerging as a compelling alternative for wagerers. But what exactly are they, and how do they differ from their state-licensed counterparts?
Offshore sportsbooks operate under licenses issued by international regulators, often situated in countries like Costa Rica, Curacao, or Panama. These licenses empower them to cater to customers across numerous jurisdictions, including the US. In essence, this translates to a broader regulatory framework compared to state-by-state restrictions.
Safety and Security: Top Priorities for Offshore Sportsbooks
Security is paramount for any online betting platform. Fortunately, reputable offshore sportsbooks prioritize this aspect. They undergo rigorous licensing procedures, compelling them to demonstrate fair play, robust security measures, and responsible customer protection protocols. This ensures a safe and secure environment for you to wager on your favorite sports.
Beyond the Basics: Unmatched Selection and Competitive Advantages
The best offshore sportsbooks go beyond merely replicating the offerings of state-licensed operators. They often provide a wider array of betting options, competitive odds, and potentially more lucrative bonuses and promotions. This translates to a more dynamic and potentially rewarding betting experience.
So, Are Offshore Sportsbooks Right for You?
The decision ultimately rests on your individual preferences and priorities. Offshore sportsbooks provide a compelling option for those seeking diverse betting markets, competitive odds, and the freedom to wager on their terms. However, it's crucial to choose well-established and reputable platforms that prioritize safety and fair play.

Why Bet at Offshore Sportsbooks

The allure of offshore sportsbooks is undeniable. But what exactly makes them so popular among bettors? Here's a breakdown of the key benefits that keep users coming back for more:
Offshore sportsbooks are renowned for their generous bonuses and promotions. New user signup bonuses can reach into the thousands, especially when using cryptocurrency. Plus, there's a constant stream of ongoing promotions throughout the month, maximizing your betting potential.
Cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals are a staple at offshore sportsbooks. Enjoy the ease of swift transactions with minimal processing times, and in some cases, even instant payouts.
Unlike state-licensed operators, offshore sportsbooks bypass geolocation restrictions. This means you can wager freely from most US states, without any limitations.
Federal regulations require licensed operators to report winnings exceeding a certain threshold and withhold taxes accordingly. Offshore sportsbooks, however, don't report winnings to the IRS, leaving you in control of your tax obligations.
Offshore sportsbooks benefit from lower operational costs due to the absence of state taxes. These savings translate into more competitive odds for you, potentially increasing your returns.
Beyond the perks mentioned above, offshore sportsbooks often boast a wider selection of betting markets compared to their state-regulated counterparts. This allows you to place wagers on a broader range of events and explore new betting opportunities.

Offshore Sportsbook Bonuses: Bigger Bankrolls, Better Bets

Offshore sportsbooks have carved a niche in the betting landscape, and a major reason for their popularity lies in their enticing bonus structures. Unlike state-licensed operators, offshore sportsbooks offer a wider array of bonuses with significantly higher values. Let's delve into the treasure trove of bonuses that await you:
Signing up at an offshore sportsbook unlocks a generous welcome bonus, typically a deposit match bonus. This bonus essentially matches a percentage of your initial deposit, potentially doubling your bankroll right from the start. Some welcome packages might even include free bets or bonus bets, further amplifying your betting power.
A staple in the world of offshore sportsbook bonuses, deposit match bonuses are straightforward and rewarding. The sportsbook matches your deposit by a predefined percentage, up to a specified maximum amount. For instance, a 100% deposit match bonus up to $500 would double your initial deposit, providing you with an extra $500 to wager on.
Considered the holy grail of sportsbook bonuses, no deposit bonuses are rare gems. These bonuses grant you free credit to use at the sportsbook, allowing you to place bets without risking your own funds. While the credit amount might be modest, it's a fantastic opportunity to try out the platform and potentially turn it into real winnings.
Bonus bets, often part of welcome packages or bundled with deposit match bonuses, are essentially free wagers. Any winnings accrued from a bonus bet (minus the initial stake) are yours to keep. Imagine a $25 bonus bet that wins you $75; you'd pocket a cool $50 in profit!
The party doesn't stop at the welcome bonus. Offshore sportsbooks keep their customers engaged with a steady stream of ongoing promotions. These can encompass deposit bonuses, bonus bets, special event wagers, parlay offers, and the ever-popular odds boosts.
Odds boosts elevate the potential payout on specific wagers, increasing your earning potential. These are typically offered for marquee events or specific bet types within an event or sport.
A parlay bet combines multiple wagers (legs) into a single bet. Parlay insurance softens the blow of losing a parlay by just one leg. While you won't receive your full winnings, you might get your original stake or a portion of it back, mitigating your losses.
Engaging with a sportsbook's loyalty program unlocks exclusive bonuses not available to casual bettors. These bonuses can mirror any of the previously mentioned options or even extend to real-world rewards like tickets to sporting events.
By understanding and leveraging the diverse array of offshore sportsbook bonuses, you can significantly enhance your bankroll, explore new betting opportunities, and potentially maximize your profits. Remember to explore various sportsbooks and compare their bonus structures to find the one that best suits your betting preferences.

2024.05.19 01:06 GundamManiac Feeling fancy with a straight end StrapCode/MiLTAT Super-J on the Vintage Brycen Sport Eco-Drive "Hulk" my wife gave me =)

Feeling fancy with a straight end StrapCode/MiLTAT Super-J on the Vintage Brycen Sport Eco-Drive
Since my wife gave me this Citizen Vintage Brycen Sport for my birthday, I've been wearing it frequently for date nights and special occasions. We don't do anything that calls for me needing an actual dress watch, but this has been serving nicely as a fancier let's-dress-up-a-little-nicer sort of watch. Testnfjenejdjehejdnkrjr as Despite the dive styling, the watch does not have a screw down crown and is rated for 100m. This is fine by me as I have primarily been wearing this watch for evenings out on the town. The bezel unfortunately doesn't rotate, and this is the only detail I don't care for on the watch itself. I believe the bezel doesn't rotate due to the use of a J810 "Eco-Drive Ring" movement, with the solar panel presumably embedded in the rehaut instead of under the watch face. If I'm right about the solar panel placement, then presumably the electronics or the panel extend under the bezel which would then preclude the inclusion of a normal rotating bezel. I've come to terms with the bezel though, viewing it as a tradeoff for having Eco-Drive in combination with the beautiful sunburst green dial which probably wouldn't be quite as vividly reflective if it needed to pass light through to a panel underneath like a typical Eco-Drive.
The one thing that had to go though was the stock bracelet. As much as I love the dial and overall look of the watch, that bracelet was really jangly and it just looked and felt cheap with its partial articulation (the middle and outer links were a single piece) and hollow end links. So I put it on a straight end StrapCode/MiLTAT Super J bracelet. Even though the straight ends don't perfectly mate with the watch body like the stock bracelet did, I feel like the Super J really elevates the look and feel of the watch. The links are fully articulated and feel very solid, and there is a nice two-tone contrast between the brushed outer links and polished inner links that pairs nicely with the brushed and polished surfaces of the watch.
All in all, this watch is a keeper and has lots of sentimental value right off the bat as a gift that my wife chose for me. The photo honestly doesn't do the watch justice with the way it catches and reflects light. My wife and I have been jokingly referring to the watch as my "Rolex" (with copious air quotes and exaggerated wink) as more than a few of my friends and coworkers have noticed and asked about the "new Rolex" on my wrist =P

2024.05.19 00:44 fashraf1 Seeking Career Advice After 11 Months as an Odoo/Python Developer

Hello everyone,
I come from a non-IT background and have a BBA degree. After my studies, I learned basic Python and secured an internship, which led to a job as an Odoo/Python developer, thanks to a friend's reference. I've been in this role for the last 11 months, including my internship period.
I've always been curious about my learning path, but my attempts to seek guidance from seniors didn't yield much help, and I didn't do enough research myself. Now, I'm considering switching from Odoo, but I'm confused about the various fields and options available.
I'm planning to get an IBM specialization certification(in chosen feild) from Coursera and take the DSA course offered by the University of San Diego. However, there are so many fields to choose from, like web development, automation, data science, and DevOps. I want to pick a field that is in high demand globally and offers good rewards.
I understand this learning journey will take a lot of time, but I'm committed. Additionally, I've started solving LeetCode problems since I enjoy problem-solving and it's a great way to learn DSA.
Any advice or suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

2024.05.19 00:27 ZachTheLitchKing [OT] Fun Trope Friday, Writing with Tropes: Head Start & Infomercial!

Original Prompt

Limited Time Offer
"Well, well, well, Mister Luck. How lucky are you feeling?" Mr. Pays caressed the back of Frederick Luck's neck with the flat edge of a long knife. They were alone in the antechamber of his hideout. Behind them was Pays's escape route and in front of them was a door that led to a bevy of police and news reporters.
The young man choked back a quiet sob but otherwise said nothing. He trembled on his knees which brought a smile to the haggard and scarred man's face. Mr. Pays removed the knife and slid it into the sheath sewn into his suit pocket. Then he pulled a metal band out and wrapped it around the son of the billionaire's neck.
"I hope you like this, fashionista that you are," Mr. Pays said in as soft a tone as his deep bass could manage. "Call it your own personal Luck detector. Do you hear that beeping?"
Beep...Beep...Beep...
"Uh...uh-huh..."
"Good. That beeping means it's armed. Do you know how much this little bomb cost me to make?"
The boy shook his head slowly.
Beep...Beep...Beep...
"Of course not. You've never known the value of a dollar, have you? This little piece of jewelry," he tapped the metal band with his knife, "cost me seven hundred dollars. But your ransom is far more than that. And if your father paid it, you'll be safe."
"I-I will?" Hope. It filled the young man's limp shoulders and bolstered his voice.
Mr. Pays knelt next to Frederick and pointed with his knife. "There are thirty steps from here to that door, Freddy." He patted the boy on the cheek and stood up, grabbing Freddy's arm to pull him up as well. "And if the police followed my instructions - which they have - there will be twenty more from the door to the car your father should have sent. Fifty steps. Does that number sound familiar?"
Beep...Beep...Beep...
"N-no?" Uncertainty. Worry creased the boy's face.
"Your ransom is fifty million dollars." Mr. Pays grinned. "This bomb," he tapped the knife to the collar again, "is tied to the account they were to send the money to. For each million dollars, you can safely take a step. If they didn't deposit it all, well...how much do you think your father loves you?"
Fear played across Freddy's face. Then resolve.
"Fifty million's n-nothing to my dad," he said, tripping over his own emotions for a moment.
"Okay then. Start walking."
Beep...Beep...Beep...
Mr. Pays stepped back and put his knife away. He crossed his arms and waited. Freddy took one slow step. Then another. Each successive step was faster than the previous until he all but slammed into the door in his rush to escape.
The door opened, and Freddy took two more steps.
Beep...Beep... BOOM!
Turning to the camera, Mr. Pays smiled.
"Hi! Killie Pays here, with a special TV offer!
"Are you tired of your victims surrendering to despair and giving up? Have you lied to them enough times that they just assume they will die? Well, have I the product for you!"
He pulled a metal band out of his jacket pocket and held it up in front of him.
"For just six hundred and sixty-six dollars and sixty-six cents - or finance for six easy payments over six months at six percent interest -, you can get your very own customizable Killar. It's wireless, Bluetooth, and infrared-ready, allowing you to configure it to your heart's content.
"Sync it up with a bank account," a graphic of a bank appeared to his left, "or use its built-in pedometer and geolocator to set your own safe zones. It can be voice-activated, remote, proximity-based, or triggered off a code word. Do whatever you think it'll take to get that spark of hope back in their eye before the end!"
Mr. Pays extracted a thin booklet out of his other pocket and held it up next to the collar. "Call now and receive not only the instruction booklet but the Advanced Techniques guide at no additional charge."
Reaching out of camera, he pulled a man in a nice suit into frame and stabbed him in the chest with his knife.
"Remember, I'm Killie Pays," he said as he pulled the knife with a sharp jerk. Reaching into the screaming man's chest wound, he pulled out a thick stack of blood-covered cash. "And I make killing pay!"

2024.05.19 00:24 Sunbro888 Computer Science vs Law School? [3rd year CS student]

Here is my situation:
I am a 3rd year CS student and a veteran [relevant in terms of how I am financing college]. Essentially, I have grown concerned about remaining in CS due to seeing the mass tech layoffs, the way America doesn't appear to protect American tech workers jobs [i.e., we have to compete for jobs internationally since American companies like to outsource labor to other country's], or even the fact that this path seems a lot more grey-area ish than I anticipated. To clarify . . .
I am studying Computer Science with an emphasis in Software Engineering, I wanted to be able to build applications [generally speaking]. The issue here is that there is a lot of things not being said while I am in college pursuing this road, such as:
When I look on linkedin/indeed software engineering positions vary wildly in terms of the technologies they want you to know of [which I have never heard about ever], several coding languages, and a whole host of things that made me say "this degree doesn't particularly feel like it is preparing me to be competitive in the job market and this seems like a train leading to broken tracks."
It's as though I have more material to learn than time available in the day and people with no life other than breathing CS are the only ones who can exist in the space. I hear to do "projects" but that is rather vague, perhaps I should be thinking of a system of organization such as :
  1. Identify what types of applications I want to make as a software engineer
  2. what technologies/software are primarily used for building that particular type of application?
  3. build projects that utilize those software's/technologies and have those viewable by the recruiter
  4. live on leetcode?
Other than doing what I am supposed to be doing in school in terms of grades and knowing I need to land an internship at some point, I am quite unsure what I should be doing with my time to even be competitive in what appears to be a sinking ship/saturated market.
I was considering using my CS undergraduate degree to go to Law School thinking that being a licensed professional would solve a few problems being :
a) I don't have to compete with people in other countries that are willing to work for much less than Americans are.
b) Maybe law is better during recessions/lay-offs
c) perhaps law is less ambiguous of a career path than software engineering is. The fact that software engineering seems so ill-defined in terms of direction appears troublesome to me.
d) as a stem undergraduate I am more competitive in terms of law school applications [from what I read] and can also pursue specialized law practice that non-stem majors could not do [i.e., patent law/intellectual property]; ergo, it would be as though I haven't wasted my time spending 4 years in college.
IMPORTANT:
I would not graduate with debt in either case as my school costs should be covered in full.
