Hi. The first version of this post was so long that it got flagged by automod and I don't feel like typing all that out again but shorter.
I have unstable emotions that can fluctuate between fine and not fine quite sharply, sometimes multiple times in the same day, and it's very exhausting to manage. In order to function in my own life, I have to treat it as a stress meter in a video game and prioritize keeping it low at all costs to avoid having a breakdown. Which is an issue if the thing that's causing me stress isn't easily fixed/escaped from.
I did something I'm deeply ashamed of during a slow spiral into madness and isolation, and it's causing me stress and anxiety and guilt. I just want to move on and forget it, but I can't seem to. My brain won't let it go. Won't let me forget that I'm a bad person who really is unstable and desperate enough for attention that I'd do what I did. I didn't do it on purpose, but I still did it -and it's something that's so shameful that I don't even want to say what specifically I did. Just that my spiral into madness is encased in ice on the internet forever and even my best attempts at cleaning up the mess aren't enough to quell my anxiety that someone could find my secret or figure out my old account on that site is me and ruin my life over it. And I'm ashamed enough of it that the guilt of being a Bad Person TM is eating away at me and making it physically painful to try to get through the day. I'm scared that my support system would think differently of me in a negative way if I told them the full story, and I can't handle the idea of the people I care about being disappointed in me.
I also have to pretend I'm fine because non-immediate family is visiting for a week and I don't want anyone not already close to me to get close enough to see how unstable I am and leave me (even though I know these people wouldn't, I still don't want to be needy and make it about myself when it's supposed to be about them). It's been one day and I feel like exploding. I hate being like this. Even if I get through the week, I still have to get through however long it takes before I either get help for this or something new happens that's distracting enough for my brain to finally drop this.
Getting my stress level down feels impossible when I can't talk about it to feel better and absolve my guilt and it feels like I'm never going to move on from this (even though I just want to move on and I genuinely have better things to do). I'm just exhausted with myself and I wish my emotions were less unstable and less exhausting to keep under control. I strongly suspect a personality disorder but I can't get evaluated until the inconveniently-timed change in doctors gets resolved

It is really messing with my mental health and self esteem as I feel so in wanted and unattractive. He barely spends time with me and is either with the kids, gaming or cooking, the moment I enter the room he leaves. It’s so strange and I don’t know what to do or how to take it. We’ve been on 2 dates in this period, so very minimal effort. Everytime I ask him about it, he says I am victimising myself so I decided to not say anything. I didn’t get lots of great physical touch when I was young, so it was nice that he never hits me. He always kisses and hugs me.
But he would constantly lie, cross my boundaries, and never truly understood me. Yet I still loved him wholeheartedly. I choose to see his good and hoped that he would one day change or that my love will be enough for him to want to change. But he never did. We moved in 4 years ago, and ever since, I did everything for him. I cooked, packed his lunch for work, dropped him off, and picked him up from work when I could. I played games with him. But he would lie, and we would have fights where I sometimes got physical, like pushing him away when he hugged me to calm me down or hitting his chest in frustration. I don’t have an excuse for my reaction.
But he never once told me that he minded, and so I stayed the same. One day, he told me he’s done, out of the blue, and that he needs space. I was confused at first and pestered him to tell me why. He was having trouble at his new job and is generally depressed. He didn’t want to handle our relationship and would like a break. I tried talking to him about helping him and working things out.
He wanted to move out, and I took the initiative and booked and paid for a hotel room for him for one night for him to cool off, and maybe we can talk after, since it has been weeks of this talk.
He came back saying he still needs to move out and be by himself to better himself and come back to me. He promised that if he does, he’ll be a better version of himself.
Today, I found out that he was cheating since months before. That the hotel I paid for with the little savings that I had was for him to sleep with this girl. I found out way later, and when I caught him having phone calls with her, he denied it being romantic.
Today I met the other girl, AZ. AZ told me everything. She was also lied to, she had no idea we were still dating. She told me every detail, how he kissed her and how much he loved kissing her. How much they love each other. How he lied about our relationship and our breakup, how he showed interest in her from the beginning.
He told me it was a mistake, that it was a one-night stand. And all he wanted was to let go of his frustration and play around a bit and will eventually come back to me after the break. That the 7 years was during his young years and that he didn’t explore and that he thought we were getting boring and with AZ, he felt alive again. He said he liked how easy it was, how fun being with AZ is. But he said he knows it was wrong and that he will never forgive himself or ever do it again.
I basically made him quit his job; they’re coworkers, and I stopped them from going further. He asked that we start over in a new country and that we can be better. He said that he doesn’t deserve me and is ready if I would want to let go, but if I would want to work things out, he would change.

I don't use the word lightly. I've tried countless times to be the person someone else can love. I'm still alone.
My father never loved me, and made it clear my brother was his favorite. While he would go out of his ways to spend time with him and even call off of work some days, I would be lucky to say good morning to him and receive one back. He died 5 years ago now and his last words ever spoken to me were him yelling at me while I was throwing up. Those words still echo in my head every night.
My mother makes it a bit less obvious but to her I'm a workhorse. She doesn't take interest in anything I do, only if it's something that would prevent me from helping her. Recently she's been asking for all my free time since she is moving, and when I had to leave early for an event she had called me the next day to berate me for not getting enough work done.
My siblings couldn't care less about me, they are kind when I'm around but I don't think I've talked to either outside of family events or gatherings in a year
My friends don't want me around. I'm always the one to reach out and start conversations. I'm always the one inviting them to play games online or go grab something to eat. When I'm around them I feel like a burden, someone they deal with rather than hang out with.
Any romantic attempts have been shot down quickly. Always excuses and nobody just telling me they don't want to be around me. I had one friend who said they were aromantic when I asked them out and then the next day told me about a person they want to date.
I'm truly unlovable.
Don't worry about me internet strangers, I'm coming to terms with it and I won't be doing anything crazy. Just another night I'm reminded of how I spent the day alone and end the day alone. My 'friends' don't like it when I open up to them like this so I've resorted to this.

30M,173cm,64kg,W. In may 2021 I had a 10 day period of fever 39.5 degrees with other symptoms such as severe headache(more than usual when I have high temp), particles in urine and itchiness in urethra after urination, added weird odor to both gases from colon and from mouth(took 2 years to disappear). After the illness I had a period of muscle weakness for about a month. Also I had issues with severe decrease in bowel movement which took more than 2 years to heal(things become much better after I've started eating white rice). Although it was not confirmed but it's likely that I had a covid19.
After a month and a half I felt like I've almost recovered but some symptoms remained which I expected to just disappear over a longer period of time but they did not. At first I just stopped feeling well rested after waking up and I couldn't get energized from anything like music or sports. I've started quickly getting mentally exhausted from any activity. Right now after 3 years I can't even look straight when walking because processing that amount of visual information is already too exhausting for me. I have to look at the ground to not waste my mental energy when walking outside. Before the easiest and the most enjoyable things for me were reading and playing games which I could do for days or weeks almost ignoring sleep and eating but now even 30 minutes of playing video games could feel like previous 9 hours of office work.
Before this issue I was very healthy and still don't feel physically anything wrong. Did some sports, eat only healthy boiled food, mostly grains and eggs/meat. Never consumed any harmful substances like alcohol or drugs. Don't have any phycological issues. I have a decent family, no reason being stressed, accept myself for who I am and even if I'm not doing my best - I'm having fun with my life and it is all I care about.
I did brain MRI, encephalogram, neck vessels ultrasound which showed venous insufficiency which does not explain the symptoms, blood(general, hepatitis, ferritin, thyroid functions), urine tests.
In December 2023 neurologist assumed I have a depression and prescribed escitalopram. I took 5mg for 24 days with no positive results. But it helped me realize that I at least don't have the kind of depression that this drug induced. It completely cut off my concept of having fun reading a book. I stopped being able to understand this. And it made everything else felt much more bland till I've stopped taking the drug. I feel everything the same way I felt before the illness and I can enjoy everything I could before but I'm just constantly very tired with nothing being able to alleviate this.
In February 2024 I visited a psychiatrist as previous neurologist advised and after some talk no mental disorders or other issues were discovered. Got advised to check in with neurologist and received a prescription for emoxypine 250mg/day, idebenone 60mg/day and sulpiride 100mg 2 times/day. After 24 days of taking this stuff also got zero improvement.
Other drugs and vitamins I've taken over the period of 3 years with no short of long term improvement for the main symptoms: B1+3+6+9+12, D, Iron, Mg, Zinc, Ca, potassium iodide Ginkgo biloba, choline alfoscerate, vinpocetine, detralex, cinnarizine, pentoxifylline, inosine, piracetam, phenibut, levocarnitine, meldonium
Would be important to mention that I had 3 remissions since then: 1st for about 2-3 weeks starting at 1st of July 2022. It took 1 or 2 days to get from pretty bad condition to somewhat alright 2nd was for about 1.5 - 2 weeks at around 12 sep 2022. Took around 12h including sleep to get from bad into a decent condition(but worse then in previous remission) 3rd was for 4 days from around 11 of july 2023. My condition was gradually improving for 2 weeks before that stating from when I began taking ginkgo biloba and choline alfoscerate. I'm not sure if those drugs actually did anything or if it was a placebo effect.
From at least the first two remissions I would assume that my condition is reversible and should have an easy fix but I haven't found anything that energizes me or makes me less tired, Sports which I liked my whole life only makes me sleepy depending on intensity of physical exercises. My character is on the hunt for G.E.C.K. I know the location of NCR and Vault 15 from Vault City.
Now why should I join a family in New Reno? To my Chosen One all the families seem fucked up. Nobody there seem to know anything about GECK. It seems more reasonable to continue to Vault 15 and NCR.
But to me as a player it seems as a shame to leave such a great town without completing the quests there. Chosen One agreed to make some delivery job for Mordinos and he saw the Stables. Fucked up place , but damn it seems so interesting! I know Myron is there, possible companion.
But really, the game does not offer single reason to join any of the families if you play as lawful good character. I want to save my village, that's my only ultimate goal. Becoming a part of the Mafia does not seem wise.
Will I be punished by the game for not investigating Reno?

I'm not going to kill myself. I thought about it since the new year so if I truly wanted to those thoughts would've turned into action before I had six days left. I do not want to be an adult for many reasons: I have no parents or family to rely on. The people I live with belittle me and have been breaking me down mentally even further than I already am. They helped make my already distressing birthdays from 15-17 traumatic. Being a csa victim, I suffer everyday in many ways and I feel like I haven't emotionally aged beyond eight years old. I'm still distressed about things I should've gotten over like how my favorite video games are changing, my favorite places are changing, I don't have any of my elementary-early middle school friends to play with, and everyone else is growing up. People mistaking me for a woman when I'm a girl or calling me ma'am makes me sick. And I know when I turn this evil age my world will flip for the worst. And nobody cares.

I (22F) have been together for a year and married for 6 months with my (23M) husband. In the beginning stages things were fine, we’d get into disagreements, he storm off, leave in a huff. As we got married and continued the relationship, it seemed to turn for the worst. I am always at the fault, things started to get thrown, destroyed, etc. a new common theme in a negative disagreement is that my behavior makes him want to “*** himself”.
Recently, I showed him hair dye boxes that I bought because planned on dying my hair (I did). I’ve dyed my hair before in this relationship and I guess his reaction was neutral but as of recently we are long distance and his reaction was “don’t you think that’s going to cause some attention” and I said “nope”. We were on ft and suddenly he said “I’m going to let you go” and said he loved me back and hung up. I knew this reaction happened because of the hair dye thing but I didn’t text him about it until he admitted it to me. Somehow me dying my hair made him feel like he didn’t know what my priorities were. And he didn’t understand the need to change my appearance when he wasn’t around. I simply wanted to change my hair because it’s grown out and I wanted something new. But for some reason this led to him feeling “worthless, unvalued, not important”. And the fact that he dosing things that are explicitly to build for our family and me and somehow dying my hair is the complete opposite. And lo and behold it makes him want to *** himself because he’s giving so much and it’s “worth nothing”.
It’s been weeks of good behavior from both parties during the week but once the weekend hits he says I’m not excited enough to receive his calls or I do something else that makes him unhappy and he ends the call in a huff. I’m always the problem in the relationship, I always am the one that has to change and accommodate him. Today we played the ignoring game and tomorrow I’ll hear “you ignored me all day and let me stew and you didn’t check on me or even care about me.”
I’m at a loss.

I know the obvious answer is to leave, but I don’t know how. For context, my father cheated on my mom when I was young. She never left, and I never learned to hate him. He stopped but never got better for my mom. My father had anger issues and would hit and scream at us when he’s in a bad mood.
I grew up physically abused, as most Asian families do. I have a fear of abandonment to a point where it’s paralyzing. I am the oldest out of 3 and learned quickly to be a pillar, a second mother for my sibling. I love taking care of people.
Me and my boyfriend met when we were 19. He is my first boyfriend, my first love, and who I lost my virginity to. He was the first man to take care of me, he never yelled, he talks to me so softly. He was nice and I fell in love. To be honest, I let a lot of things slide because he was truly loving towards me. I didn’t get lots of great physical touch when I was young, so it was nice that he never hits me. He always kisses and hugs me.
But he would constantly lie, cross my boundaries, and never truly understood me. Yet I still loved him wholeheartedly. I choose to see his good and hoped that he would one day change or that my love will be enough for him to want to change. But he never did. We moved in 4 years ago, and ever since, I did everything for him. I cooked, packed his lunch for work, dropped him off, and picked him up from work when I could. I played games with him. But he would lie, and we would have fights where I sometimes got physical, like pushing him away when he hugged me to calm me down or hitting his chest in frustration. I don’t have an excuse for my reaction.
But he never once told me that he minded, and so I stayed the same. One day, he told me he’s done, out of the blue, and that he needs space. I was confused at first and pestered him to tell me why. He was having trouble at his new job and is generally depressed. He didn’t want to handle our relationship and would like a break. I tried talking to him about helping him and working things out.
He wanted to move out, and I took the initiative and booked and paid for a hotel room for him for one night for him to cool off, and maybe we can talk after, since it has been weeks of this talk.
He came back saying he still needs to move out and be by himself to better himself and come back to me. He promised that if he does, he’ll be a better version of himself.
Today, I found out that he was cheating since months before. That the hotel I paid for with the little savings that I had was for him to sleep with this girl. I found out way later, and when I caught him having phone calls with her, he denied it being romantic.
Today I met the other girl, AZ. AZ told me everything. She was also lied to, she had no idea we were still dating. She told me every detail, how he kissed her and how much he loved kissing her. How much they love each other. How he lied about our relationship and our breakup, how he showed interest in her from the beginning.
He told me it was a mistake, that it was a one-night stand. And all he wanted was to let go of his frustration and play around a bit and will eventually come back to me after the break. That the 7 years was during his young years and that he didn’t explore and that he thought we were getting boring and with AZ, he felt alive again. Yet after all of this, I can’t shake the feeling that I can’t leave. I want to forgive him and forget this ever happened. But all of you experienced folks, please help me. I don’t know what to do, I’m so lost. Its so hard for me to abandon people. I’m 26f, will I even be desirable, and will I even love again, is all men like this? What if I meet one that hits me? Was I loved?

It’s hard to get out as often though until late June when the kids are done school because we work weekends. Our days off are always on weekdays. Sometimes we pull them out and just say screw it because our jobs occupy our weekends and we value the family time but obviously we can’t do that every week. We weren’t planning on going out this week so the kids were going to school but I can’t go next week either because I have to cover someone’s vacation at work. So my plan was to go to the lake for a night by myself to get a couple of games of golf in. My wife could stay home with the kids.

I struggle to connect with people who haven't had to overcome their own demons, or I have nothing in common with.
I have a good career and I think I'm about to shake it up with the experience I now have under my belt. Moving out of Canada might be in the cards. I have too many hobbies/interests. some I've already alluded to, but others include boxing (doing), mma (watching), singing, building/painting models (Something I've gotten back into lately) and competitive card games (I just got back from tournaments in LA, Ottawa and Vancouver). My PC games of choice lately are League, TFT and Pokemon Showdown if that counts.
What are we supposed to write in these posts? I feel like I'm barely scratching the surface of who I am. I try to stay relatively active with a personal trainer I see 2-3 times a week but my chaotic mind and inner fat kid keep me with what I can only describe as a "healthy" dadbod with muscles. I’m a minor (15), so perhaps accuracy could be affected by that. I’m a female. I think I’m very quiet and blend into the surroundings most of the time (and it’s not easy for me to be otherwise if I, for some reason, ever attempt to be that way). I either talk way too much, or talk too little. This is because if I don’t talk that means I really don’t know what to say, and when I end up wanting to say something it’s a lot of built up things. Also I think I end up adding random things to what I say for some reason. When I’m having a conversation, I usually spend most of the time while they’re talking thinking of how to properly respond, because I DO have an idea for what I want to say, I just don’t know how to formulate or back it up properly that quickly. For this reason, I realize I might miss out most of the details they’re saying, so I try to do both now. This is why I find texting much easier. From what I hear from others, perhaps I’m a little too reserved that it could be seen as rude. However, I myself think I talk just well enough. I’m actually somewhat hyper and energetic most of the time, but not verbally. This is because I think it would be too exhausting to express that in such ways. I think a lot about what some things mean. I’m unfortunately very quick to anger, especially if I believe someone is being way too idiotic or if I’m told I’m incorrect in how I think. Perhaps this may be normal to get annoyed about? But I know I get very irrationally angry about these. I don’t think anybody in real life would notice I have anger issues unless we’re close. I’m very neurotic. Actually, I’m going to mention that generalizing myself is difficult simply because it’s strangely difficult for myself to describe or identify my own traits. Religious influence? Perhaps not strongly, although my family is Christian, they are not very strict on it nor have they forced it upon me. Actually, it was very interesting and I did believe in it at first, but due to my curiosity I think I ended up asking so many questions that eventually it somehow led me to stop believing in any sort of theistic way.
• What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not?
I don’t have any, but I want to answer this with what I used to aspire to be. Very early on, I really wanted to be a scientist and kept insisting to be, but then lost interest, I don’t remember why, but right now I’m thinking it’s because something about it is slightly terrifying. Very recently I wanted to become a writer because I think I was very passionate about stories in general, but I have realized how unsuccessful I might be if I chase for that with the amount of motivation and skill I have for it right now, so recently I’ve been thinking I’ll do something math-related, since I am good at it.
• If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?
Refreshing for most of the time, but I think I would get lonely a few times. This is assuming I have nothing else to do and can do what I want.
• What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities?
I don’t really know what activities I prefer, maybe more of ones that are having to do with dexterity. I am TERRIBLE at sports, I am too wary during ball games (but this is because I’ve been hurt a lot playing with other people too many times). Badminton is the sport I am best at. I can play with quite average skill there. I actually enjoy it too, but I’m not sure how to explain why, perhaps due to liking the feeling of light movements (if that sounds correct). I like to walk, it helps me think when I imagine things. I don’t like walking if I have to do anything else with it, it’s much harder to focus.
• How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?
I think I’m pretty curious. I’m not sure though. I have more ideas than I can execute ONLY BECAUSE I don’t have the required skills to execute those ideas. My curiosities are about whatever another person brings up, perhaps. Or I’m curious about people’s analysis. My ideas are very conceptual, I suppose. My ideas are more like creating a story, or combining two stories together. Or I take one small thing from a story I know of and imagine things focusing on that. I think I’m imagining too much about media I consume, but I don’t normally do otherwise.

I would enjoy it for the sake of a false sense of responsibility, either that or for the sake of trying something new that I’m not good at. However, I know I am not responsible enough to be good at it. As long as there is time for our team to do the task, I think I could possibly be able to do it. But I’m a terrible leader since I would end up being unable to think of anything. I would rather lead by being a participative leader, because that’s the only way I can lead properly.

Perhaps I am artistic, I do draw sometimes, especially if I’m bored. My art is likely just drawing humans, and nothing unordinary, just normality, I don’t know why I prefer doing so. However if I was able to draw something that was quite surreal, then I would like to do that a few times. I just wouldn’t do it all the time because I don’t think I would have that many ideas.

The past is just gone. You apparently can’t change the past, though it would be interesting if we could go to the past. But it’s not easy for me to think so much about the past voluntarily. Sometimes I do connect the past with the future, but it’s not because I actually think hard of it, it just happens. But usually if I think about the past too much, or actually try to think of the past, the first things I start focusing on are bad memories. I did mention in previous times that I answered this sort of question that I did not like the past, but of course as long as it’s not because I’m focused on one terrible thing that happened to me or one terrible thing I did, it’s not bad. The present is just a moment and then gone. So what? Also, we’re not really in the present, are we? I draw sometimes, to pass the time when I’m bored and to just picture things I want to picture. Also to show people. I just mostly like drawing to see the results. I like to write sometimes but only because I get overwhelmed and end up wanting to write what has been stuck in my head for so long onto something. So I guess that’s a hobby, but it’s somewhat tiring so I don’t write for long periods of time. I do photography as a hobby, but I only picked it up because other people in my family I have noticed are incredibly terrible at taking photos, so out of annoyance I end up volunteering to do so. A few years ago I took a test for this kind of thing during secondary/middle school. I suppose it said auditory. Though that’s likely inaccurate now since I prefer reading the instructions and everything else, because it’s easier to figure out where to go from there and I can focus on it better. I don’t know what learning environment I struggle in most, though I do struggle slightly if I have to do exact memorization, but as long as I can attach it to something and I put effort in it perhaps it’s alright. I usually improvise but have a slight idea of what I’m doing. As in, I have a slight idea on the topic but I’d rather not be rigid on it because otherwise I would be focusing too much on one thing and likely miss something that would be good to add, rather than just having an idea then adding onto it if I thought of something. I’m not sure if that counts as winging it and improvisation though. I’m not good at strategizing but I can certainly try if I have a certain goal.
• What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally?
Improve myself in general, because what else can I do? Just be successful and become someone that has a lot of capability. That first, then I perhaps could focus on something else. My reasoning is, I don’t improve myself first, how can I actually end up being able to do any other aspirations that I have?

I fear the idea of losing thought of everything. Or losing all rationale. I don’t know what makes me uncomfortable. I hate it when I’m dragged into something when I made it clear I would rather not be, especially when they never even told me about it until a second before dragging me into it. I hate it when people bring up something, and when I finally decide to express my thoughts about it, they talk over me or interrupt me. Either that, or they just tell me to not think so much. This is incredibly annoying to me, but I suppose it would annoy anyone.
• What do the "highs" in your life look like?
I think I would be very calm and focused. I think I would feel very lucid.
• What do the "lows" in your life look like?
I think my lows would be feeling an incredible amount of dread. Or I would be very anxious and slightly more impulsive. Though, I think nobody would notice much in real life.
• How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?
I think I do pay attention sometimes but it’s inconsistent when I do or don’t. I pay attention if I have to. I like to daydream sometimes. I’m not sure if I pay attention more or daydream more. How would I be aware of my surroundings if I do daydream though? Obviously not.
• Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?
First of all, do I know why I'm there? If I don’t I would wonder about that. Also is it that I suddenly got there, or was I brought there? I think I wasn’t sure of any of these, especially why I’m there, then I would think I was kidnapped and just try to get out of that room. Ignoring all that, I would probably walk around a lot and think of the same things I always daydream about or imagine about. But wait, how long am I supposed to be staying there? Is there an obvious part of this room where I can just leave or is it basically just nothing? Really this is a bit too unspecific.
• How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?
I usually try to think a lot before making an important decision, after all, there is always the chance my first idea could go wrong if I don’t think it over first. I usually doubt myself once I made that decision even though I thought it through a lot. I rarely end up regretting it and changing my mind though. However, I sometimes end up doing things on impulse either if I’m tired or for some reason I don’t even know. In which case I 100% change my mind.
• How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?
It takes a while. I do know how I feel towards certain things but it takes time to understand or explain why, otherwise it’s difficult to express. I usually process this myself. Emotions are important, I guess. Aren’t they motivators though? It’s the entire reason why I’m actually doing anything, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t be.
• Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?
I end up doing this sometimes, just not directly saying I agree or not directly saying they are right, because most of the times I do this I do know I disagree, I just don’t have a coherent argument that is enough to be convincing, or one that is enough that my view seems rational, because most of the times I notice the other person would see the opposing viewpoint as incredibly irrational and stupid. I am working on not doing this though, because it’s likely better to make them think about it than doing nothing and keep them thinking something that they could change their mind on or I could change my mind on. Another reason why I’m working on this because I realize agreeing without actually agreeing would end up nagging me in the head.

No, I don't break rules often. I’m either afraid of being punished, or because I see the rules are pretty rational and I understand them, even if I wouldn’t personally impose those rules myself. It’s not too difficult for me to try and adapt to those rules if different places have different rules. I do find myself re-checking the rules a lot though. I only don’t give any mind about rules if I really hate the community or place in which these rules have been imposed on. But if I hated it in the first place, why would I even be there? Anyways, challenged or not challenged, it’s not one or the other, it really depends on how the authority does things. Consider what they’re like first and what they do in their role then judge if they should be challenged or not challenged.

No, I don't break rules often. I’m either afraid of being punished, or because I see the rules are pretty rational and I understand them, even if I wouldn’t personally impose those rules myself. It’s not too difficult for me to try and adapt to those rules if different places have different rules. I do find myself re-checking the rules a lot though. I only don’t give any mind about rules if I really hate the community or place in which these rules have been imposed on. But if I hated it in the first place, why would I even be there? Anyways, challenged or not challenged, it’s not one or the other, it really depends on how the authority does things. Consider what they’re like first and what they do in their role then judge if they should be challenged or not challenged.
