So, I (30F) have been hanging out 1 on 1 with a past coworker (36M) after I left the company. While I worked there I always felt we had chemistry and good banter but during a happy hour with me (in a long term relationship at the time) and another female coworker (who was happily married), we drank alot and he came off as very flirtatious to the both of us (1 too many compliments with disclaimers like our partners are lucky, etc) and it was a little uncomfortable so I've been cautious about him since then.
Fast forward some months later, I've left my job and bonded with him over a strong mutual interest that many of my friends do not share. The 2 of us have hung out a few times and he made it explicit the first time we hung out that it was platonic. Eventhough he said this, I still felt chemistry and there were subtle signs that he may like me (prolonged eye contact, a lot of teasing, lower back touch to guide me in specific situations, paying for most outings despite me insisting that we split the costs, meet ups are only the 2 of us, etc). I wasn't sure if he liked me or if it was in my head so I poked the bear and called him a true friend the day before meeting up.
I felt something slightly off when we first met up but wasnt sure if it was cuz of the text the day before or me being super late. We did fall back into rhythm and there was a moment when he was about to say something but stopped himself. It took the rest of the night of me bringing it back up until he gave in and said it. Essentially, he does have romantic feelings but was trying not to voice them to avoid making things weird since we do have a lot of fun hanging out. Plus, when we started hanging out, I was in the last year of my long-term relationship. He was caught off guard by the true friend text which might've been the trigger to him saying something that clearly meant romantic interest.
I'm honestly not interested in dating for the next few months for various reasons and I told him as much but I also did say that I have fun with him and am waiting for something to happen in August before going back into the dating scene. He said he wont rush me and we can hang out platonically as always if neither of us are weird about it.
So my dilemma(?), is that idk how I feel about the idea of dating him. Like fuck, I do think I'm smitten and, I was even a bit extra flirtatious in the last outing to bring back ambiguity since I didnt want him to take the true friend text as me defining our relationship as nothing more than a platonic friendship. I come from a dysfunctional family with toxic, cheating, abusive relationships and no good father figure. I've only ever been in 2 long-term relationships and my partners were parasitic. I don't know whats a flaw and what's a red flag. I've been gradually getting better with my low self-esteem and low self-confidence issues. The friends with good relationships feel a little alien to me and aren't my closest friends. It's not the first time I've felt chemistry with a friend while I was getting to know them but it was never acted upon because we were part of a friend group and I didn't want to ruin a growing friendship nor the friend group dynamic.
Am I overthinking this? When we were getting to know each other he said he has a people pleaser problem that tends to come off as flirtatious but does that justify the discomfort my coworker and I felt? An alternative title for this is: Should I ever offer more without any knowledge of competing bids? OR Can someone explain to me about this automated offering system my realtor seems to be working with?
Anyway, here is my story:
Working with some realtor Zillow gave me. I know not the best, but he seemed okay during the tour. I wanted to make a fast offer on this foreclosed property (being sold by a bank) with asking price of $210k, and working with him just seemed the best way to do it.
I told him I'd like to offer $200k and see where things would go. So we make the offer. I expect the sellers to come back with a counter offer. This is on day 6 of the listing.
The next day we don't hear back from sellers. However, the realtor he mentions off-hand how the sellers are taking offers for the first week, then picking from the best or something? With this knowledge, I mention being concerned about my offer being weak, and maybe I should increase it. I REALLY like this place, and 210k seems well below what it's worth. I don't want to lose it.
My realtor states: "Nah, your offer is good. There's going to be people offering $100k. You have nothing to worry about."
Since this was day 7, the final day, I convince him to increase my offer to $206k. He says "Okay, but your pre-qualification is for 200k, can you afford that?"
I tell him I've been pre-qualified for $220k+, I just ask my lender for pre-qualifications that match the offer I'm making so my hand isn't tipped with the seller.
After I say this, my realtor says "Well... if you're going $206k, might as well make them happy and match their 210k asking price."
This seemed weird... especially since earlier he seemed to treat $200k as totally acceptable.
I sign the the offer. Then about 30 minutes he comes back to me and says, "The website counter-offered for asking price ($210k), so it's just a matter of who has been countered this asking price, and how many people offered above this price."
At this point I'm confused. I asked a bit more and apparently the bank thats selling the property is using an automated system to accept offers. I'm not really sure what to make of this. The realtor is telling me I should offer above asking price... but I haven't even been given confirmation of another offer by someone else existing? How do I even know if I'm being out-bid?
I ask my realtor if we would be given an opportunity to outbid another offer if there's one better than ours, and all he says is "If they see an offer they like, there's a chance they'll go with it."
So I'm sitting here wondering if I should offer more. I say 212k, and my realtor says I should do more. I say 215k, and he's like: "for every 1k, it's only a couple dollars a month. You should go higher. I'd say what would be the best offer you would be able to offer them and to offer that" (Those statements are copied from our texts exactly)
Finally I say, "I don't understand, they gave us a counter offer at asking price. Can't we just accept the counter offer and then everything's set?"
He says (forbeitum): "We won't know until the offer is either accepted or rejected. The next offer is probably going to be the last offer we submit because it says "Highest and Best" above our offer"
I ask him what he means and he says: "It won't let me change the offer type from highest and best when I was clicking on it. That made me realize this is probably the last offer we are going to submit before they decide"
So I sign on an offer for $215k.
Once again, it feels weird since he seemed fine with $200k earlier, but now keeps pushing me to offer as much as I can now that he knows I can offer more.
Anyway, the day ends.
And there's nothing.
The next day, day 8 since the listing goes by.... no response.
It's now nearly the end of day 9. My offer has technically expired, and I'm wondering what to do. According to the realtor, there has been no response from the sellers.
"Good morning. No there are no updates at this time. I keep checking in to see if anything has changed"
I ask: "Are things usually this non-communicative when it comes to buying from banks? Seems weird to have no response at all."
He says: "It's not a normal offer"
Wtf does that mean?? I asked him to clarify and he never responded.
I want my realtor to be communicating with a real person, but it seems like all they can do is interact with a machine? Is this normal? What's the strategy here?
I haven't signed anything exclusive with this realtor, besides the expired offers. Should I quickly find someone else to make an offer with? Should I tell them my situation and ask them to force communication with a human?
Is my realtor genuine? I still don't understand the counter offer thing with the automated offer system and why I should be offering more than that. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I've just finished a full rewatch of the Viz dub including the movies and specials, having watched a mix of the OG English dub + some of the sub as a child, but never in order all the way through. Here is my review no one asked for:
Classic: Great intro to the characters, loved it when the plot was somewhat moving, and the relationship between the guardians was really well developed. I found the Jadeite/Nephrite arcs really dragged at points, however once the Rainbow Crystal arc rolled around things really get going. I wish we could have seen a bit more flirtation/romance between Mamoru and Usagi. The finale was simply stunning and emotional, bringing me to tears.
Favourite filler episode: "Love and Chased: Luna's Worst Day Ever" Favourite plot episode: "The Shining Silver Crystal: The Moon Princess Appears" Special mention: "Usagi's Eternal Wish: A Brand New Life"
Sailor Moon R: I quite enjoyed the Makai Tree arc, however as above I found it a bit of a missed opportunity with Mamoru/Usagi and romance. Once again, the beginning of the season was overall a bit rough. And Chibiusa... while her behaviour was understandable it wasn't enjoyable to watch. And the less said about the break-up arc the better. The Black Moon Clan were pretty cool though, and Chibiusa definitely improved as the season went on.
Favourite filler episode: "Venus Minako's Nurse Mayhem" Favourite plot episode: "Saphir Dies: Wiseman's Trap" Special mention: "Usagi's Crisis: The Tiara Stops Working"
Sailor Moon S: I mean what can I say that hasn't been said before? The peak of the series - from the first episode you feel the raised stakes and improved production values. The Outer Senshi steal every scene they're in, the pure heart crystals format adds an emotional character driven layer to even the monster of the week episodes. The Death-Busters make hilarious but compelling villains, and the Hotaru arc is utterly captivating. Chibiusa is also handled far better - her friendship with Hotaru is her at her best.
Best filler episode: "Coldhearted Uranus: Makoto in Danger" Best plot episode: "The Shining Shooting Star: Saturn and the Messiah" Special mention: "The Death of Uranus and Neptune: The Talismans Appear"
Sailor Moon SuperS: Now I heard everyone hates this one, and honestly it wasn't as bad as I expected. The animation and music are gorgeous, and the slice of life comedic episodes are mostly done really well. I also love the villains, especially Fish's Eye. However I do find the focus on Chibiusa grating at times (although still better than R!) and Pegasus/Helios... eh. The worst crime for me is no Outers - why?? I really felt their absence, and I think having Hotaru aroudn could have made Chibiusa stuff a bit more compelling. Overall I enjoyed this season for what it was, but it did drag at points.
Best filler episode: "Storm of Love: Minako's Grand Two-Timing Plan" Best plot episode: "Dreams Forever: Fill the Heavens with Light" Special mention: "Shadow of Evil: The Trio's Last Chance"
Sailor Moon Stars: Ok, so this one was back with a bang - the Outers are back, and the stakes are higher than ever. The Nehelenia arc in this season is pretty much peak Sailor moon. Then the Galaxia arc - I enjoyed the Starlights (well I mostly enjoyed Seiya) and it was interesting to add a different dynamic to the group. Sailor Aluminium Siren and Crow were two of my overall favs, and I liked that we were back to dramatic high stakes like in S. The end was beautiful, and I may have shed a tear.
Best filler episode: "A Night Alone Together: Usagi in Danger" Best plot episode: "Usagi's Love: The Moonlight Illuminates the Galaxy" Special mention: "Night of Destiny: The Sailor Guardians' Ordeals"
I loved all of the movies and specials - the R movie and Ami's First Love are the peak of the entire series animation wise for me.

I am a college student at a top 20 school and I am struggling to find jobs. I am working really hard; I made the Dean’s List and participated in an entrepreneurial program where I received a cash prize. For the past three years, I have been working as an IT support tech specialist for my school. I’m majoring in Physics and minoring in Data Science and Engineering Management.
The types of internships I am applying for include management internships, some sales jobs, and banking & consulting because I attend a target school. I have also applied for unpaid internships but have been rejected. I think one reason for the rejections might be that they consider me overqualified or because my major physics. My resume has been reviewed by my school’s career center.
Long story short, I am not getting a real job. Maybe I wasted my energy and time getting a Physics degree when I could have gotten a Business degree for a better job. Please suggest me what should I do?

So for a bit of context I(15m) and the girl for the sake of this we will call Lara(15f) have been friends with each other since we were freshman’s(were sophomores now) but honestly you could say that I knew her longer than that because I had to move schools when I was in like 4th grade and we went to the same school. Anyway so freshman year I saw her and she remembered me back from my old school same with some other people
Now when I saw Lara I had to admit she was pretty cute in my opinion but I never told her that and also I wasn’t in the mind space to be in a relationship at the time mainly to focus on school.
So a couple of weeks after high school started we made like a old school friend group which I was in which I absolutely love to be in and I’m incredibly grateful they accepted me in they friend group. But then after more weeks past 4 people in the friend group I was in were in relationships with each other including Lara and her bf who we will call Tom
Now to be honest I wasn’t mad in the slightest and they were an actual cute couple but like at the end of the school year they broke up mainly due them just not seeming to connect anymore which kinda sucked for them cause they are both cool people. now to 2 of them are kinda awkward around each other
Now skip to this year at homecoming a few months ago half of are group wasn’t with us so we just kinda had to make due without them so in that time period me and Lara and the rest of the group danced a little then Sat right back down. then we kinda just split up to do our own things so in that time period me and Lara were just talking to each other that entire time which was really nice and relaxing and talking to her made me realize how much i still liked her but with me knowing that I could lose everything I accomplished with this group makes me feel so worried and I never was in a relationship before so I wouldn’t know what to do anyway

I'm a 5'7 INFP non-denominational christian who has been in the faith for about 7 years now, I was saved from the New Age movement and before that was agnostic for most of my life. My favorite books in the bible are Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Matthew. Having kids was something I wanted but given the current state of the world and how expensive everything is, I'd much rather just settle down with someone and have a cat or two and just grow together enjoying each other's company. Cooking is my main hobby but I'm also learning to draw, still got a long way to go tho. My favorite things to draw are usually cute fictional animal characters like Pokemon, Digimon, Yordles, Lilo & Stitch experiments, and anything with a similar vibe. My goal with art is to eventually turn some of my fanfics into comics and make some money with commissions, I also only draw traditionally. The main reason for that is I am drawn to doing things the old fasioned way like washing clothes by hand, collecting VHS tapes, paying with cash, cooking over a fire, etc. I don't strictly live that way btw, it's just fun. I'm a big fan of traditional animation so I love 2D animated movies and such, I'm more of a cartoon fan than an anime fan but I like both.

INTRODUCTION
My name is Hina. To know more about me, I was born and raised in Japan and I have been an avid writer ever since I moved to the States when I was 11. My second language is English but I believe it’s been pretty good these days. I recently turned 22 years old and I'm female. Talking about age, I would be comfortable with you being 17+ and preferably at least 20. Roleplaying with minors isn’t a big thing for me, I apologize. I’m in the west coast, PST timezone. Let’s see.. What other information can I give you? I would say I enjoy skating, basketball, watching tv shows and anime, and reading. My favorite anime is Nana and Death Note.
ROLEPLAY
For what i’m looking for, i’d have to say basically anything in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. Perhaps something done in the Shibuya Arc, or even the Culling Games Arc where are our characters are participating. Or maybe something entirely different. I think it would be cool if our characters were strong on their own and everything was set up in the Culling Games Arc, them having to maybe ally or something. But we can also have it be basically them fighting together to make themselves stronger and then fight new enemies as well. I’m down for ideas!
I’m also down for a Modern AU roleplay with the original characters. Maybe an OC x CC or CC x CC in that case!
CHARACTERS
I tend to use character sheets to describe my character, these usually consist of names, background, and personality. More so on appearances, I prefer using animated or drawn references than real life people. I enjoy good enough references where I get the idea of how the character would look like.
The types of characters I write are either the lone wolf type that has some sad past which leads them to want to join someone for a redemption arc or the bubbly character who is the one that brings the mood up and is usually seen as trustworthy and of that kind.
I like all types of tropes, especially enemies to lovers or rivalry. I also really enjoy opposites attract as a whole from either opposite personality or something else they would be opposites in. Enemies to lovers takes my heart, though. I love seeing the characters go past the urge to ultimately hate each other and/or go past their usual way of disliking the others lineage or upcoming.
REQUIREMENT
I think this is my last paragraph on the roleplay. It’s the most important, at least. Requirements. All roleplay searches come with them. Or at least that’s what I heard! But don’t fret, there isn’t much.
I’ve seen this as one of the most used requirements, and I agree with it. As someone who’s first language wasn’t English, I understand that you may not be great at it. But please, I do require a partner that at least has proper use of grammar and punctuation. You don’t even have to use big words or anything, just at least know where to put your periods and the placement of your words.
My second requirement is for you to be LITERATE! Please. I’m a big writer, I tend to ramble on and tend to write more than what I thought I would. (like i’m doing right now) I write multiple paragraphs from the starter until the scene relaxes. I also understand that sometimes writing big blocks of words every response is tiring or boring so I don’t expect it all the time, at least after the starter has been made and in more important scenes. Dialogue also cuts my replies shorter.
Please please please be polite in OOC! We may just be role playing together but kindness goes all ways. If we do include OOC, I enjoy talking about many things. My day, movies, games, funny moments and stories, all of that!

Hello again! I’m not sure if you've read or seen my other posts about roleplays but this one will purely be about Jujutsu Kaisen!
INTRODUCTION
My name is Hina. To know more about me, I was born and raised in Japan and I have been an avid writer ever since I moved to the States when I was 11. My second language is English but I believe it’s been pretty good these days. I recently turned 22 years old and I'm female. Talking about age, I would be comfortable with you being 17+ and preferably at least 20. Roleplaying with minors isn’t a big thing for me, I apologize. I’m in the west coast, PST timezone. Let’s see.. What other information can I give you? I would say I enjoy skating, basketball, watching tv shows and anime, and reading. My favorite anime is Nana and Death Note.
ROLEPLAY
For what i’m looking for, i’d have to say basically anything in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. Perhaps something done in the Shibuya Arc, or even the Culling Games Arc where are our characters are participating. Or maybe something entirely different. I think it would be cool if our characters were strong on their own and everything was set up in the Culling Games Arc, them having to maybe ally or something. But we can also have it be basically them fighting together to make themselves stronger and then fight new enemies as well. I’m down for ideas!
I’m also down for a Modern AU roleplay with the original characters. Maybe an OC x CC or CC x CC in that case!
CHARACTERS
I tend to use character sheets to describe my character, these usually consist of names, background, and personality. More so on appearances, I prefer using animated or drawn references than real life people. I enjoy good enough references where I get the idea of how the character would look like.
The types of characters I write are either the lone wolf type that has some sad past which leads them to want to join someone for a redemption arc or the bubbly character who is the one that brings the mood up and is usually seen as trustworthy and of that kind.
I like all types of tropes, especially enemies to lovers or rivalry. I also really enjoy opposites attract as a whole from either opposite personality or something else they would be opposites in. Enemies to lovers takes my heart, though. I love seeing the characters go past the urge to ultimately hate each other and/or go past their usual way of disliking the others lineage or upcoming.
REQUIREMENT
I think this is my last paragraph on the roleplay. It’s the most important, at least. Requirements. All roleplay searches come with them. Or at least that’s what I heard! But don’t fret, there isn’t much.
I’ve seen this as one of the most used requirements, and I agree with it. As someone who’s first language wasn’t English, I understand that you may not be great at it. But please, I do require a partner that at least has proper use of grammar and punctuation. You don’t even have to use big words or anything, just at least know where to put your periods and the placement of your words.
My second requirement is for you to be LITERATE! Please. I’m a big writer, I tend to ramble on and tend to write more than what I thought I would. (like i’m doing right now) I write multiple paragraphs from the starter until the scene relaxes. I also understand that sometimes writing big blocks of words every response is tiring or boring so I don’t expect it all the time, at least after the starter has been made and in more important scenes. Dialogue also cuts my replies shorter.
Please please please be polite in OOC! We may just be role playing together but kindness goes all ways. If we do include OOC, I enjoy talking about many things. My day, movies, games, funny moments and stories, all of that!

I've been learning Svelte for three years. It is by far the best solution currently available. It doesn't unlock many job opportunities though, because tech companies build with what people know, instead of what is best. However, I stand behind my previous statement: Svelte is the best solution.
Here are a few tips I wish I knew before I learned Svelte.
Create a boilerplate fine-tuned and customized just to your liking. Keep it simple. Only include the basics that you are for sure going to need in the vast majority of your projects (e.g. auth, Tailwind CSS, component libraries, TypeScript, formatters, etc.). Something that abstracts the boring stuff, so that when you have a cool idea, you can just get straight to work on it -- instead of procrastinating.
Write messy code. When I began writing code in general, I always obsessed over making sure my code is clean. I gave up on hundreds of projects before I realized this key tip: It's either perfect, or it's finished. Since learning this, I now "finish" the majority of my projects. That being said, don't deliberately write messy code, just prioritize cleaning it up when it is less of a deal.
Focus on the fundamentals. Despite the allure of Svelte's simplicity and elegance, strong JavaScript foundations are crucial. Make sure you understand the underlying concepts like reactive programming and component lifecycle, as these are applicable across other frameworks too.

Note: The majority of this doesn't only pertain to Svelte/Kit but pertains to programming as a whole.

This is based off a post I saw somewhere else, and I thought it could make an interesting mental exercise where you'd have to think about what's the most important to you and how your goals would change based on the amount of time you had.
For the sake of this game, you'll know with 100% certainty that you'll be dead after your time allowance is up. There's no "but what if I only think I'll be dead in six months but then I'm not and I fucked up my entire life?" When your time is up, it's up. You'll be dead and won't have to live with the consequences of your actions.
So just for fun (and growth, maybe?) here's mine:
If I had 24 hours to live: Realistically, I'd know I wouldn't be able to accomplish anything of substance, so I'd just focus on pure pleasure. I'd go out and do something fun, maybe go to the nearby theme park in the city I haven't been to in a while or an expensive night club and wear my favorite outfit. I'd eat and drink whatever I wanted, and however much of it I wanted. When I got back home I'd take something to keep me as calm as possible and call/text the people I care about who live far away to let them know I care about them. I'd spend my last hours in bed watching a comfort movie.
If I had a week: I'd go on a road trip with my entire family to somewhere I always wanted to go to, maybe LA or somewhere similar, and spend the rest of my days there. Probably my actions would be pretty similar to the above, I'd just have slightly more time to do bigger things and say goodbye to people in person.
If I had a month: I'd quit my job for sure (for the top two, idk if I'd even bother to formally quit, I'd just stop showing up) and again, probably act fairly similar to above. I might try going to another country like Italy or Japan to see what it was like and try their food, but I don't think I'd want to die there. I'd also try and maybe finish something creative before my death, even if it was just a short story or a few poems.
If I had six months: 100% quitting my job and putting all my energy into finishing my long term writing project and having fun. I'd use my savings and hire a cleaner to come in once a month to take care of boring everyday tasks so I have as few distractions as possible.
If I had a year: Same as above really, but I might also try and experience a brief romance before the end. Probably wouldn't be able to truly fall in love but hopefully I'd at least meet someone cool.
If I had five years: I wouldn't quit my job, but I also try and find something better and something that would be fairly undemanding. I wouldn't be making any big career or life plans, but I would try to write something and get it professionally published before I died. I'd want to leave having made my mark on the world in some significant way.
If I had ten years: I'd probably quit my job ASAP to go back to school, while trying to find a relationship and work on my creative projects when I had free time or after I was done. IMO ten years would be super hard for me because it's long enough to where I'd definitely want to build a life but short enough to where I'd really have to haul ass if I wanted to make that life come to fruition.
If I had twenty years: Honestly, I'd probably be doing exactly what I'm doing now just with even more anxiety lol.

First of all, I’d like to preface this story with a piece I wrote in my journal 2 months ago while still in my relationship.
Here it is:
I’m almost 30M, and wonder how you would deal with this situation?
Backstory: I didn’t have my first girlfriend or even sex until age 20. I was very sheltered when I was younger and shy. I also moved several times so never got the chance to meet girls from social circles. I had almost a 2 year long distance relationship from age 20-22 (seeing each other in person only a few times a year). Well that didn’t work out and it devastated me. I did truly love that girl and she was also my first so it took 3 years to get over.
In that time following the relationship, I slept with more than 10 people, gained experience, and eventually found another girlfriend in person at age 25. That ended at age 26, but was off and on until age 27. It ended for good reason, because it was a tumultuous relationship with a lot of fun, but also arguments. She was super attractive which made it hard to let her go even though I knew it had to be done.
Following that relationship, I yet again worked on myself, dated and slept around, and eventually met my current girlfriend midway through age 28. It was one of those situations where you start out just hanging out and eventually see each other every week… then the question of “what are we happens”… I went along with it even though my eyes were still peeled.
Well now, I’m almost 30, a few months away and I’m scared. A part of me feels like I missed a part of my youth and I’ll never find that stunner I’ve always looked for. Being sheltered all my life and not meeting anyone via social circle messes with me emotionally. I’ve dated beautiful woman, but it’s not like I can change time and go back to 25 again and date around 20 year olds… right?
I also moved to a completely different state and started a new life 2 years ago. But every day I think about my last relationship and the life I used to live in that state. “The good old days” I like to say. I have a new life now and good situation, but a part of me feels lost.
That’s what I wrote back in March. I knew I had a good situation, a very stable relationship and job, but I almost felt like I was still unfulfilled. Mostly because I never really experienced the kind of girls that truly interest me I guess? I hate to sound superficial, but if you read below it will make further sense. It wasn’t all about looks. While she was nice and sweet, she was rather boring and didn’t banter with me.
So fast forward the story to today, my recent ex broke up with me a few weeks ago. We had been dating about a year and a half.
I met her about a year and a half after that toxic relationship to a really manipulative, yet attractive girl I talked about above. This new relationship was the complete opposite, almost to the point of being cringey. She was really loving but it was almost overwhelming. She also was not as atractive as my last gf in terms of looks. Not unattractive by any means, but I certainly didn’t feel super proud walking around with her or introducing her to people. For much of the early part of meeting this new girl, I did still constantly think of the toxic ex and compare, but I was ready for something new and thought I was so far removed from the last relationship - I went along with it.
Anyway, Eventually she asked if I would be her bf at about the 3 month point after meeting. At first I was apprehensive of the idea because I wasn’t sure about committing and if I wanted to keep “searching.” I got to the point that I was done with hunting as I had tried tirelessly to find someone for over a year. She was a great girl but I wasn’t sold on a full on relationship. Instead of being excited to be official like I was in past relationships, with her I was hoping for more a fwb situation like it was the first 3 months. But I decided to go along with it. I told her I still wanted to be able to approach or work on social skills with other girls even if just plutonicly. I didn’t do that and did commit. Fast forward another several months and the I love you statement came up. I wasn’t entirely sure about how I felt but I again went along with it, even though I didn’t actually feel it at at the time.
This gf was a very loving, loyal, committed gf, and did anything for me. Unfortunately I didn’t really find her incredibly magnetizing. She was cute, but not crazy attractive in my eye. Like I mentioned above, I didn’t feel that proud feeling when going out.
I found that taking pictures with her also made me unsure. The first couple weeks of hanging out we never took pics. And then I took a picture with her and looked at it and was repulsed. When she would send me pictures of her with with her family, I didn’t like what she sent. Maybe she’s just not photogenic and actually good in person, but whenever she would send me a photo or FaceTime me I’d get turned off.
Also, the fact that she was so wholesome, it didn’t allow for much banter. Conversations were mostly plutonic, where I’m more of the sarcastic type.
She always wanted to pull out the calendar and schedule plans months in advance every week, even after telling her I prefered being spontaneous. She did all of these crazy google calendar overlays and I felt like I was always being sucked into things I didn’t want to do. She became more clingy than I had realized when I first met her. She asked me about 3 months ago, if we could spend not just weekends together, but also Wednesday nights. (We lived just over an hour apart). I suggested it could be every other week (the opposite)…I didn’t like going to her place because of the road noise where she lived and I would really only see her when she would visit me. I know, all of this sounds really one sided and like I’m an asshole. But I was very loving to her in person and she knows that, hence why it lasted so long.
Unfortunately a lot of things she did turned me off. She was too readily available, always trying to lock up my calendar, talk about marriage and kids in the next 3-5 years and I felt trapped. I was unsure.
We had great sex but it wasn’t crazy passionate, neither was our kissing. When alone, and was feeling aroused, I generally didn’t think of my ex. I constantly found myself checking out other girls places I went (but never talked to them). I felt like wow I wish that was the kind of girl I was with.
It wasn’t all bad though. The sex was phenomenal in terms of the movements. She made $100k plus which is phenomenal for someone at 24, but also had over $100k in student loans. With her wanting to get married within 5 years, I considered those loans as a big issue. She was super loving and would have been a great mother.
In the end she left me. She said we weren’t compatible. I have been a wreck and now I’m wishing I had her. Maybe not for the right reasons though?
I’m trying to figure out why if I wanted to end things myself and that I felt trapped for so long, how come all of a sudden I want her back? Is it just the void of not having someone loyal who’s there for me? The loss of a potential good wife and mother? Who can make plans and bake me things? The fear of not meeting someone as smart? She’s already talking to other guys and I’m just a wreck and need some advice. I can’t go an hour without thinking of her. I think I need to rewire the way I am thinking. I can’t stop thinking that maybe I made a mistake and should have put in more effort, but I feel like if I truly loved/had that spark for her I would have tried more all along. I would have been excited to make plans with her instead of going a week at a time seeing her. Now all I want to do is see her. Should I have stayed in it and worked harder? Are my standards too high? I feel like my first ex and my recent one were so polar opposite. One had the looks and I thought of her when thinking of sex but was toxic and the other was sweet but not as attractive. It even got to the point that to feel emotion, I had to finish inside her. Which did help.
At the time of the breakup, I tried very hard to tell her how I was looking forward to making a fun summer filled with plans together. Just 2 weeks prior she was about it. Now nothing. It’s been total silence on the other end for weeks. I know she loved me more than any guy.
Do you think this was a good thing this happened? How do I rewrire my brain? She was my only friend. This was a relationship that I went into going through the motions, and even a couple weeks before we broke up I wrote that journal entry / question that I shared above. What is going on?

Male friend continues to flirt with my boyfriend
My bf (27M) who is straight and I (30F) have been dating for 8 months now. Everything is running smoothly. For the most part, I feel pretty confident about our relationship. Except for recently, there is a friend of his who likes other men and he flirts with my boyfriend. It is extremely obvious that his friend likes him. He and I are openly aware of that.
They’ve had history texting each other and going out to dinner Id say maybe about 3-4 times together (3 times before we started and once when we became a couple). I never thought of it being an issue because as our social groups know, this friend of his has the personality of flirting with damn near every man that surrounds him. I also, in the past, believed that my bf was just one of the very few men who are comfortable in their own skin and can hang around with any type person no matter what background or preferences the other person has.
We had a conversation about my boyfriend’s preference and he says that he is straight and does not like men.
With that being said, I was once doing my project on my bf laptop because mine was having issues. I was starting to see incoming messages from himself and his gay friend. It was obvious that his friend was super flirtatious and my bf was sort of going along with it but would back away when the friend would invite him out.
Well, last night we went out to a business dinner and the friend was there. Once again super flirtatious. His friend barely made eye contact with me or talked to me throughout the night but made the bold decision to move from his original seat to then sit right across my boyfriend. Not only that, when we came in, he whispered to my bfs ear that he wants him to sit next to him and my bf told him, “no”. When we went home I mentioned how it bothered me that his friend was acting that way with him and how obvious it is that he likes him.
Could this friendship between him and the other guy be truly labeled as a friendship even if one party clearly likes the other? Am I maybe oblivious that my boyfriend may possibly like him or have some form of curiosity because he still has him around? Im not sure what to feel or call this anymore. Maybe my boyfriend just likes to hang out in the gray area where he doesn’t like his friend that way but enjoys the flirting.
I just want to hear the thoughts of others and I pray that my thoughts are absolutely wrong to have and my bf does not like him.
TL;DR: my boyfriend’s male friend who likes men continuously flirts with my bf who is straight. My bf does not flirt back but it makes me uncomfortable because I am now starting to question their “friendship”. Am I wrong for having this perception of their friendship or is there something going on that I may be in denial.

I’ve been looking for a Tobey Maguire autograph, but I think it would also be cool to have all three Spider-Man signed on one item. I’m definitely more of a Tobey fan. What do you guys think? Also the Toby signature does look better on the first picture than the second one.

I was reading up on vehicle construction rules. On page 182 under the Aerospace Unit Tables Type there is an asterisk stating that “All aerospace units except for conventional fighters automatically incorporate VSTOL capability.”
Yet on page 87 the lower left paragraph in Total War states that all aerodyne must make horizontal landings.
What is more confusing is that the unit type definition on page 183 does not call out that aerodyne are not excluded from VSTOL. I was also unable to find an entry in the books errata for aerodyne dropships. And the Total War errata matches the version of the book I am using.
So which is correct?
My first reaction is that Total Warfare is the go to on this as that was always my understanding for how aerodyne dropships worked.
But per the errata of Total Warfare there have been changes made to how the rule is handled in previous editions. So, has VSTOL capability been added in general to all aerospace units?
Lastly should the construction rule asterisk simply be changed to “aerospace fighter” from “aerospace unit”? That would change things to reflect the Total Warfare. So maybe it’s just a typo. But it doesn’t look like one as there is also no asterisk applied to a specific unit type.

I am a college student at a top 20 school and I am struggling to find jobs. I am working really hard; I made the Dean’s List and participated in an entrepreneurial program where I received a cash prize. For the past three years, I have been working as an IT support tech specialist for my school. I’m majoring in Physics and minoring in Data Science and Engineering Management.
The types of internships I am applying for include management internships, some sales jobs, and banking & consulting because I attend a target school. I have also applied for unpaid internships but have been rejected. I think one reason for the rejections might be that they consider me overqualified or because my major physics. My resume has been reviewed by my school’s career center.
Long story short, I am not getting a real job. Maybe I wasted my energy and time getting a Physics degree when I could have gotten a Business degree for a better job. Please suggest me what should I do?

Hi all,
As the title says in looking to make a Starlight ceiling driver for a home cinema. I'm looking to have 4x 24v leds with a violet, deep blue, cool white and warm white that switch on instantly. Any suggestions on what types of leds I should be looking at?
