TL;DR: Where are some good sources of info if I want to start learning more about this car and how to change it to my own liking? I've looked at videos but the learning is very unstructured and I'm missing a lot of foundational mechanical knowledge.... where do I start? What are some good basic modifications that can be made to it past maybe a trunk light? People say suspension a lot online, I don't really know what to look for or why?

I'm not really a car guy. I would love to learn though, because boy am I enjoying this Miata.
I just bought a 2017 recently because I love the look of the ND the most, although the other ones are awesome too. I've been driving it for quite a while and have loved it. I knew it was my dream car. I enjoy driving, I always have. Lots of people hate driving long distance, I LOVE IT. And I will be taking this car on a road trip soon, Cali to Utah.
But what now? I've been searching the web and not really understanding shit about cars, as I do. However, I do know that I'd like to start with some quality of life things. I do know that I am open to replacing entire sections of the car. For instance, if there is anything I can do about the cupholders.... I have seen this brought up many times.
Maybe I'm crazy but I always feel like when I search for new parts I get a 1,000 yard stare I don't even know what I'm looking at. I know I want to either replace the seats for a better cover or I at least want to get seat covers but when I look I don't really know what I'm looking for or why or what's good for what price.
Lots of people talk about the first thing being the suspension. For me it'll probably be a paint job because I hate the white. I like cool colors like blue or green, dark. I was thinking of a gunline army cause I like guns, my idea is that the Overlord equipped with a resurrection orb will be leading a 10 men squad of warriors all equipped with flayers for the range and it'll be a castle gunline because yes, what they shall do is get to a strategic point on the battlefield and gun down the enemies from there and come back with reanimation protocols and the orb when starting to lose men. I've got 2 separate units of scarabs for objectives and to be a nuisance for my opponent (I hope) the main idea here is that my main units which are the warriors and immortals kill as much models as possible while the scarabs steal the objectives from them and to just deal some damage to maybe draw attention away from my warriors and immortals. I've got a 5 men squad of immortals lead by a command barge with resurrection orb, I went with command barge cause I heard it's good and has B I G G U N, it is also apparently a good way to save budget because I get a free overlord along with it. I chose immortals because I've heard they are the heavy infantry and I think that it's just warriors but bigger guns, the plan here is that the immortals target the characters and act as anti-tank. I want to go with deathmarks because they look cool, but I currently don't know how they work. I don't really know much about necrons currently besides that they can resurrect and heal themselves which I found pretty cool, I've seen videos of people using them and it looks fun, so yes, I did take 2 resurrection orbs thinking that it is just a free reanimation protocol (please correct me if I am wrong) . I went with Awakened Dynasty for the +1 to hit for the units lead by characters, which is beneficial to everything except the scarabs who I currently think don't really need it for what I am planning on doing with them. Would love some feedback on this list and any recommendations on where to go from this.

Damage sourceAbsolution of inspiring-spell echo/inspiration-awakened spell cascade-Archmagewith 8-link helmet Shout out to Elesshar for the amazing crafting guide on this one Wand with generic acrhmage mods, using essences of fear instead of woe forgot to 30% quality first,sadge SummonEvery spectre/AG has overcapped ele res and 80k+ health, though chaos/phys max hit is a bit low, my AG died twice in 100 T17 b2b maps, spectres dies here and there but not much.Spectres I use -Spectral Leader(20% action speed) Kind of hard to keep it alive in T17 and some T16 hot moment, but damage boost is pretty crazy, could've use arena master instead. -Primal Rhex Matriarch(increase enemy lightning taken by 50%) -Charge monkies(for frenzy charges) AG gear -King maker, Legacy of fury,Vixen entrap(enfeeble curse on hit), gruthkul's pelt,crusadeshaper helmet(increase damage taken/decrease lightning res debuff) AOEIt seems that stormcall has better innate AOE than absoution even though it says the same in the gem, and you can't use conc+ intensify for 5 overlaps on awakened spell cascade since the latter can't modify minion gems. So the only way you can do is scale the shit out of aoe, at around 5.8 meter(or 280% in game panel) you can reliably get 5 overlaps, see below.Maven demo |

Ok a little background: I have epilepsy with 99% of my seizures are nocturnal TC but I have had auras while awake and maybe 10 generalized seizures after an aura, over 20 years with epilepsy.
I’ll provide more detail below but my question summarized: has anyone ever had a (unique for them) generalized seizure and lost memories preceding it with no post-ictal period?
The situation: I got evacuated from a hotel during a fire alarm in the middle of the night. I woke up fine and made it downstairs 5 floors all good. Was thinking clearly, texting family and friends complaining about it. I decide to walk a little away from the fire exit where most of the people were huddled together. I texted again.
Next thing I remember I’m deciding to sit on the ground and I’m annoyed because it’s cold. Then I notice there’s a guy asking me if I’m okay. Yeah why? And he told me they found me on the ground and “my eye”. I didn’t feel anything but when I touched my face it was numb and I got blood all over my hand. Turns out I had a broken eye socket which can break the nerve and that side of your face will go numb. Meanwhile I looked around and realized I’m much further away from the crowd than I was before. Actually I’m close to my car. I don’t feel post ictal but something ain’t right. (Thinking pretty clearly actually for having been unconscious with a broken eye socket!) So I look in my cars mirror and it’s bad. Had to go to the hospital and got 11 stitches. Face was numb for months. But as the ambulance is taking me away some guy starts yelling that I broke his mirror on his car. I wasn’t sitting near his car and the guy who helped me up didn’t know what he was talking about either. But the ambulance gave him my phone number. Found out later that he had a broken mirror on his car that was supposedly nearby in the parking lot but it wasn’t near me as far as I remember. And I remember exactly where I was in relation to my car. His wasn’t parked in front of mine. It wasn’t there when I got back from the hospital either.
Later on he admitted there was no blood on the mirror and he didn’t see me there either but he said there was blood on the ground. I don’t think I was there long enough for blood to pool on the ground but I dunno. Based on the texts and police report etc, this all took place in like 3-5 minutes. From me texting family to the ambulance being called on site. So I walked across a big parking lot, something happened, somebody saw me on the ground and walked across the parking lot too, woke me up and called 911.
So it’s a mystery. I made the mistake of mentioning I have epilepsy but that I didn’t feel like I had a seizure. I was brainstorming what could have happened. Another indication I didn’t have a seizure. 🤣 normally after a seizure I’d probably have laid down on the ground and tried to sleep.
The police didn’t investigate because the witness said I said I had epilepsy (apparently that means a seizure happened to them). They wouldn’t go back and try to talk to other witnesses or anything. They would try to look at video footage though but there were no security cameras at the hotel except one on a conference center door. In that footage, he said someone that might be me walked in frame, stop, turn around and start to run off. (Supposedly it’s hard to tell bc it’s low quality video). But it was the right time frame and general location.
I’m just wondering what you all think. A very odd type of seizure? Or was it a mugging in a dark parking lot during a false fire alarm? (Btw there was no fire in the hotel. Someone pulled the alarm)
What I decided was someone was messing with that guys car and I saw them. They popped me in the eye. I collapsed straight down (I didn’t have any other injuries besides the eye. No bruises or scratches). Hotel tried to cover the incident up so I got nowhere further in my investigation.
But a possible but unlikely situation is a new type of seizure for me with no post ictal recovery period that made me fall forward hitting just my left eye socket on a cars mirror and broke it off without any other injury. With amnesia for a few minutes before the seizure took place and it was a very short seizure with a fast recovery.
What’s the consensus? It’s already been a year or two at this point so I don’t care but I figured I’d ask. If that is a feasible seizure situation I’d like to know. Stress and sleep are two of my triggers but I’ve never had a seizure like that before. Oh and there was no warning aura or anything that I remember. Thanks! It’s a good story right!? And if someone is considering a stay in Tigard, OR I don’t recommend Embassy Suites! 🤣

Background information: I am in the middle of setting up my summer camp in the mountains. I have a canvas tent with a bedroll, stove, and desk. I am living g in it about 3-4 days a week. I have a part time job where I need to be on the computer for calls and email/ fill out forms for an agricultural non profit besides taking care of a some cows. The property is private and not public land.
I am new to solar and would like to not run a generator but do have a few for power as the sound can be annoying or just too much if I need to work at night on the computer or be in a zoom call. I’m hoping solar would be a good option, but don’t know where to start. It would be nice to be able to charge a computer and run some lights without having to worry much. I have seen that harbor freight sells those Jackery boxes but like I said am unsure about what kind of power I would need. If a guy could run a fan in when it gets hot in July and August that would be a huge bonus but not a deal breaker. Any advice or videos with information would be useful and greatly appreciated.
Bonus info: the camp is seasonal and everything will be broken down by end of November when I ship cattle back to the foothills.
If a guy could run electric fence or charge marine batteries off of the system that would be a plus but obviously not a deal breaker since I have another ranch in the valley during the summer as well where I have a house and shop.

My(20) boyfriend(20) loves music and yesterday he was invited over to a friends house to make some music and apparently it was like his heaven. The whole apartment was a music studio and it’s shared between 4 musicians this is where the problem starts bc one of the musicians/roommates is a 50 year old man my boyfriend was telling me “silly” stories about how this man was constantly telling him how good he was and that he was one of the best musicians he had ever met and he will go really far (my boyfriend is just honestly not that great he alsonoticed his self harm scars and told him that they were just alike and like that he was connected to him in some way. My boyfriend was really excited about all of this and showed me a video this man took of him while he was playing the guitar and the video is odd it’s him playing but the man is circling him and zooming in on certain parts of his face and back not on the guitar and he is gassing him up in the background even though my boyfriend really wasn’t doing that great. When I expressed concern over this my boyfriend brushed it off and told me that he knows what his red lines are and he can defend himself I tried to explain that grooming is different then a plain assault it will eventually seem normal to him and I don’t understand why he would put himself in harms way for a music opportunity it’s really scary and I don’t know what I can say to make him see the red flags does anyone know what I can say or do to make sure he’s safe and am I being crazy I do have ptsd when it comes to grooming so I feel like I might be projecting so feel free to check me on that if I am. Also sorry for bad grammar or spelling English is not my first language

As the title mentions I’d love to find an old/refurbished laptop with a good quality screen to stream my main rig on it (ryzen 3700x rtx 2080ti).
My current laptop has a couple of “inconveniences”:
It is quite thick due to being old and having a dedicated GPU, on top of that it has a 17inch screen so the whole thing is quite heavy and not comfortable to use. But one of my main issues is the poor screen image quality, sure it is 1080p resolution but the colors, contrast etc… kinda suck
Also the dedicated GPU means that the laptop gets very warm and the cooling fans make the whole thing sound like a jet turbine!
Therefor I am looking for something more convenient for me:
I would love to hear if any of you with more knowledge than me could point me towards specific models of series of laptops. In terms of budget I’d rather not exceed the 400€.

Hello THT team I love your podcast it's my favorite! I am 25f and live happily with my husband and our 4 furr babies. Me and my husband both work at a bakery together.
So for a few years I've had back pain it never seemed too serious to me just take an advil do some yoga or stretches. A lot of people have back pain. In fall it started to worsen but also my legs I thought maybe I started to have arthritis it runs in my family my mom and grandma got it at around my age. I have a fear of the doctor I went hundreds of times as a kid, mainly for allergies. I went though in October the doctor kinda brushed me off like we'll run a blood test, heres meds, and treated me like I'm young so I'm fine. Blood test came back good. I should have went back to another doctor and I should have signed up for insurance but it seemed too expensive at the time I live tightly paycheck to paycheck. I can't focus on should've and could've though I can't change it. My husband has told me over and over that i should see another doctor out of care but I say i will and procrastinate. I am always very much like the meme with the dog surrounded by fire no matter what I'm just like I'm fine.
Now over the past few months i started to have a harder time walking and the pain worsened. A few days ago I went to the doctor and was told I likely have a spinal injury and need an MRI as soon as possible. 3 years ago I was in a T-bone car accident I was told at ER i was fine just scraped and bruised, i suppose the injury has just now gotten worse. I won't know anything until my scans come back. I could tell the doctor was sugar coating and trying not to concern me but I could see the concern on his face. He strongly recommended i get a cane because I walk unstable now. My mind raced I felt numb I felt stupid like I hadn't taken good enough care of myself, I understand I could loose my ability to walk, I could be paralyzed even if just partially, it could affect my brain, my whole lifes hopes and plans could change so much. After the doctor me and my husband went to pick up my meds and a bit of food at the store. There i was 25 ,walking with a cane tears streaming down my face, people staring at me, trying to process everything. I am so lucky and glad to have my husband he is the best support and comfort.
Over the past 2 days I can't work until I get a more detailed doctors note i called for one but my doctor is off until monday. The first day I spent the whole day on the phone figuring out about insurance ,and talking with work ,and the doctors office, and the imaging place for my MRI. I have an MRI appointment its $930 without insurance. Monday im gonna enroll with a good insurance though. I have been on bed rest just trying not to worsen anything but also trying not to loose my mind I usually am always doing something. I always try to be positive, and find the silver lining, I am a sunshine and rainbows kind of person ;but right now I am very much overwhelmed and honestly sad. Just this year feels so long and its May before this it was already one thing after another. All i can do is take things one step at a time. I just wanted to get things off my chest I guess. Im going to crochet now to try to get things off my mind for now.
