Webcomic fans are probably one of the few fans of a manga story who get the chance to ACTUALLY read the isolated work of the mangaka creator without any external influence.
How many do you think are fans of other works who wanted to have this chance?? Who knows what works like Naruto or even westerns like Ben 10 would be like if they were written without the constant interference of the race for audience and interventions from senior company positions.
All these problems and changes that you folks complain about in the manga are PURPOSELY added things with the aim of achieving more sales in Japan. The constant woman fan service and powerscaling big fights; heroes being less imperfect; early and constant addition of Blast and God in parallel plots and etc.
ONE It's lucky that another of his works was successful ( MOB ) but that's not a guarantee. ONE still has his biggest money source still active ( OPM ) and it is normal for him to want to aim for greater profit. We don't know how autonomous Murata is but it is a fact that ONE is well aware of the manga situation and that Murata has his support.
I like the manga but I understand why you guys hate the changes. But please, at least be grateful that you have the chance to see the untouched sketch story, far from industry or anything else that could influence it.
I would bet everything that in the next Amai Mask arc we will have the addition of GOD, Blast and probably a waifu ( Webigaza earlie introduction?? ). This is expected, it is no problem with One or Murata.

In a post on another subreddit, I argued that norms governing sexuality, and social taboos placed on both men and women have same bases all over the world, and that western society ultimately values women for their physical beauty and holes, just like elsewhere.
Some people were struggling to get my point. So, I’ll explain it by comparing sexual norms to dietary restrictions and traditions. One person argued how it’s in human nature that such norms arise and culture shapes itself in a way that benefits the society. I will debunk these ludicrous arguments.
What is normal to eat? Try slaughtering a cow in India, and people will slaughter you.
But seriously, the answer depends on your geographical location.
Do you believe that consuming pork is right? If answer is yes then Amazing. Cool. Great.
But nearly 2 billion muslims, another 1 billion Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, as well as conservative Jews not just disagree with you, but they also believe it’s immoral of you to consume pork.
Muslims and Jews are themselves meat consumers, but they have made a list of animals that are justified to kill and consume. Pork isn’t part of that list.
Westerners have also made a list, and eating cats or dogs isn’t part of it, but people in china and east asia consume dog and cat meat, something westerners find extremely hard to tolerate, and almost puke at the thought of it.
Hindus is India have literally publicly lynched Muslims for killing cows, and Jains of India are that strict about veganism and opposed to cruelty against animals, that they don’t even kill ants.
You also have vegans among you who believe that killing animals is immoral. There are meat consumers who recognise that consuming meat is immoral but they can’t give up on it, because they grew up in a culture where it was normal.
I was born in a muslim country, and still find myself reluctant to consume pork, given my socialisation.
It applies to norms governing sexuality as well. Premarital sex and cohabitation can cost you life or social ostracisation in a good number of places. It stretches to homosexuality as well. Try being an openly homosexual person in Russia or even worse Afghanistan. It was literally considered a mental illness just 50 years ago in the United States.
Now, is consuming meat part of human nature?
Biologically humans are animals. We are classified as mammals. In sociology, humans are characterised as social animals. Humans are omnivores, in that they are capable of eating both plants and animals, so it’s very well part of our nature. But what is natural can’t always be moral. There is a thing called naturalistic fallacy, where you think what is natural is also moral.
If Hindus start consuming cows, and muslims start eating pork, what it would change about their society? If these societies accept premarital sex, and homosexuality, what it will change about them? In what ways does disallowing people from consuming cows, engaging in premarital sex, and being homosexual harms Hindu society?
These norms are not benefiting their societies. There’s no rationality behind them in 21st century, yet they cling on to them. Similarly, you westerners are doing the same thing. Whatever is the norm in your society is also arbitrary and subjective. Who knows what would be the moral state of world in next 100 years? What’s unimaginable right now, just like gay marriage was once an unimaginable nightmare for conservative westerners. Our ancestors never thought that one day we will question rigid gender roles, but here we are.

My heart has grown heavier from going to the supermarket
Ok so I'm single so I dont buy that much but using tesco as a baseline there must be over 3000 stores in the uk with roughly 1 million products maybe inside just one?
So that's gotta be over a trillion products on the shelves alone, then you have the ones out back in the warehouses and enroute via lorries and deliveries.
So of that its gotta be 60-70% of unhealthy ultra processed food and maybe 30% organic/fresh?
Bare in mind also that tesco now own bookers and they also sell their products in one stop and other stores plus half of the products probably won't be baught by most of the demographic I.e heinze beans vs tesco own brand. And that's just in this country alone
My main question is have I got the right guestimation with my figures?
But secondly what are peoples thoughts on a more centralised way of delivering food with the supermarkets merging together instead of competing
like I feel like the space that would occupy let's say processed pizza would be far better suited for say healthier organic stuff that people can make at home, hell have an aisle dedicated to teaching people how to shop and eat. Also bare in mind that on numerous occasions butchers in all 3 of the main chains have been found to resell out of date meat by mincing them or just been really irresponsible with wastag. (Not exclusive to all 3000 stores of course) but of course they are being seen to donate with all their food bank boxes but we still buy them HAHA can you believe that a multimillion company makes us pay to donate their food to food banks... anyway.
This would all mean starting from scratch from the start I.e organic farms being required to be organic but scrapping fees like the organic labels which is the biggest deterrent for farmers to grow organically that and coupled with less laziness and farmers actually not cutting corners etc then we can more effectively fill the spaces.
I could go on but what are your thoughts am I the only one that feels like we can do so much more if we wearnt competing?

I talked about ivermectin but also a list of supplements I'm going to repost it here. If you guys/mods plan to remove my post again could you tell me what guidelines I didn't follow? I shared my recovery story just like many other people share what they did or took that helped them.
So take it how you guys want if it gets deleted again. I'm going to repost here along with one more update and if it gets removed again then just screenshot my tips if you want to apply them to your protocols. GOD BLESS.

POST: I want to start by saying I am aware everyone's case is different. I'm not stating this is the ultimate cure for everyone since long covid is a unique case for each individual.
So I started experiencing long covid since Jan 2022 after an infection that passed fairly quickly, i got the vaccine a few weeks after. By July 2022 I starting experiencing strange symptoms which I know now to be long covid. I had two symptoms: A pressure throbbing facial pain 24/7 behind my nose, eyes and forehead and an elevated temperature 99.5-100F. I did the initial rounds like we all have and everything kept coming back normal, got on nerve medications but they failed. They told me I had atypical facial pain trigeminal neuralgia type 2. I was pretty much left in the dark. I didn't know what I had could possibly be long covid until March 2024. After finding people similar to my case, I talked to my doctor about it and started researching.
March 2024 I was put on Nurtec ODT this helped me manage my pain to some level, its used for migraines
April 2024: I started targeting the viral load and spike protein degeneration via supplementation and prescriptions.
Prescriptions:
  1. Ivermectin - every other day for 6 days, now once a week. I will keep doing this for many more months regardless, and if i get infected again it will be first thing i take for 3 days straight. I saw this work first hand on my dad in 2021 but I didn't take it when i got infected.
  2. Clarithromycin - Currently finishing up my 2 week course i got this for SIBO overgrowth from covid immune suppression. Its showing up on long haulers, overgrowth can cause brain fog and headaches. You can ask your provider for a test.
Supplements:
  1. NAC - 500mg 2x a day for spike protein denaturation
  2. Vit C - 1500-2000mg a day
  3. Glutathione 250 mg once a day for spike protein denaturation
  4. Nicotine gum - 2mg 2x a day (To bind to the acetylcholine receptors covid binds to, so it can be released and broken down with supplements)
  5. Quercetin - 1x a day
  6. Antihistamine - Allegra D 1x a day with a low histamine diet.
  7. Vitamin B complex (therapeutic doses for nerve regeneration) - Brand: Nuphoria.com
  8. Oregano oil - Antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral 1x a day for 3 weeks with a one week break in between.
  9. Gut repai recover supplement - Brand: Mybrainco.com
  10. Probiotics- Low histamine probiotic by vitamonk
  11. Licorice root tea - Natural blood thinner that got recommended to me for possible covid microclotting
  12. ashwagandha - 1x a day at bedtime, helps with covid.
  13. Zinc 30-60mg
Honorable mentions I didn't try: Nattokinase (for spike protein denaturation)
****I STOPPED TAKING MAGNESIUM. I see people reacting to food even on low histamine diets. I had to even stop my multivitamin. Why cut magnesium off? My provider told me that mRNA strand was cut using an enzyme that is activated with magnesium, and deactivated with NAC, EDTA, high doses of vitamin C or glutathione. IF anyone knows how enzymes work, they help chemical reactions by catalyzing them to completion. I suspect this is why I still was reacting to food even on a low histamine diet.
Also could be why carnivore diet helps long haulers bc there is less magnesium in red meat, higher concentrations are in fruits and even higher in vegetables. Still some amount of magnesium will enter your body,, but lowering it as much as you can during your recovery protocol could really help in your recovery.
Throughout this whole process i started developing other covid symptoms I didn't have the past 2 years, I knew this was a good sign because they would only last 24hrs max. For example: Chest tightness, shortness of breath going up steps, fatigue. Recently I developed strange rotten smells and a metallic taste in my mouth. ALL of these were signs I was well on my way to recovery because my atypical facial pain and elevated temperature was 95% gone. Now I don't have ANY symptoms at all.
Update: get checked for silent reflux and I'm in the process of doing so, COVID can really damage so many organs and this could be a second reason why you are reacting after food consumption. Silent reflux can also cause head and facial pain. I think during long COVID my gut was greatly affected. Regardless I react less on a carnivore diet. :)))

Hi everyone – I’ve recently been building a weekly business newsletter called Pulse of Progress and got my first 1,100 subscribers in just 14 days!
The best part? I used zero paid ads. All of my subs were completely free!
Here’s how I did it.
But first, let me provide some context…
For the last 6 months, I’ve been testing out different side hustle / business ideas. I have a running list of ideas that I test on forums like Reddit and Indie Hacker to get a pulse on what the public thinks. In my opinion, this is one of the best ways to validate an idea before investing any money or serious time into it. If it gets some traction or interest in the first few days, you know you have something. If not, its time to move on.
I start by generating some interest on social platforms and freelance websites (side note – I’ve come up with a method that helps me do this and get tangible results. So, if this is something you want to learn more about, let me know. I’ll make a post around this too). It’s an approach I’ve developed and tested over the last year with other ideas, so I just do the same with all other ideas I want to test / validate in the future. I want to see results fast, not waste time on non-value add activities.
Here are some of the business ideas I’ve tested:
1. Newsletter sponsorship marketplace – created a platform connecting newsletter businesses with potential advertisers. The marketplace allows the businesses to post their content and advertisers to find and book ad slots
2. AI based email marketing optimization tool – developed an AI tool that analyzes email marketing campaigns and provides optimization suggestions to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
3. Remote language exchange facilitation – pair individuals looking to learn each other’s languages and facilitate their language exchange sessions online
I shut all of these down. I couldn’t get the momentum I wanted or hoped for to consider them a success. The AI based email marketing optimization tool went viral on Hacker News and Indie Hacker, but it was because I was able to generate some hype around it for a short period of time. But the hype faded fast…real fast. I had about 100 people sign up for the service. As for my other businesses, I had a few signups here and there but nothing worth keeping the business alive and investing more of my time into it.
Something I want to call out at this point: all of the businesses I tried starting in the past were bootstrapped. I never used money I made from the sale of my other businesses. I sold one business (a virtual event planning business that took off during the pandemic. We organized and managed virtual events, think webinars / workshops / conferences, for specific interest groups and professional communities). I never touched the proceeds from that sale to start the company I currently run. The reason I bring this up is because I think your business, regardless of what it is, needs to stand on its own. If it couldn’t, I knew it was time to move on. I didn’t want to give myself a false sense of hope that it would work by continuously throwing money at it.
The reason I started a business newsletter…
A newsletter was perfect. It was easy to start and required no money to get it up and running. The purpose behind the newsletter was centered around the idea of creating something that informed and educated people but was entertaining to read. Reading in general, news or not, can sometimes feel like a chore (at least for me). This was the opposite. This was something you genuinely looked forward to reading, the things that influence your world and the decisions you make on a daily basis.
The biggest issue I had with everything else out there was that the content was around things I didn’t care about. Not to mention it put me to sleep half the time. And that’s when it hit me – create a platform that genuinely helped people stay ahead in this information heavy world. Filter out the nonsense, deliver on high-value content.

So, I shifted gears.
The first day, I posted about the newsletter in 8 different groups and got about 45 subscribers the next day. Over the next two weeks, I spent a couple of hours each day making similar posts within these groups and tried finding other groups I can post in. This proved to be successful. Making consistent posts got people engaged and subscribing to the newsletter. It was starting to gain some steam. And this is what lead to my first 1,100 subscribers in the first 14 days.
Why this worked…
1. Value creation: The best ideas appeal to what people want, and more importantly, need. It helps solve a problem. And in this case, people want high quality content that helps them make informed decisions, educates them along the way and is a joy to read.
2. Helps identify trends before they happen: Understanding emerging trends and market dynamics is crucial for staying ahead. This knowledge allows people to adapt quickly, innovate effectively, and capitalize on new market opportunities.
3. Sparks innovation and creativity: Exposure to different perspectives and new information sparks innovation and creative thinking. Staying informed about global trends, tech advancements, and industry breakthroughs inspires new ideas and approaches.
Things to keep in mind…
What I’ve realized is that you want your ideas to generate a “natural pull” from the world. It shouldn’t be something you “push” onto people. Trying to convince people they need something that doesn’t help improve their lives or satisfy a need is a waste of time. Listen to what people want. And build from there.
I’ve had multiple profitable businesses and the common theme between them all is that they cost me less than $100 to start and get product / market fit. I won’t lie, sometimes I let my ego get in the way when I put an idea out there and it got rejected. And trust me when I tell you, that’s happened more often than I’d like to admit. I spent way too much time and money putting something together even when I knew it wasn’t worth pursuing.
How does that saying go…the one about Thomas Edison and his attempt at building the first light bulb after trying and failing 1000 times. “I haven’t failed. I just found 1000 different ways how not to build a lightbulb.” And that’s just it…who cares if the idea didn’t work. Hate to break it to you, but most will. Instead, focus on the skills you’ve picked up and learned along the way while building this business and apply it to the next.
Anyways, I hope this post helps at least one person grow their business, subs count, social media presence. Now that I’ve grown my audience to over 10K subscribers organically, I’m looking into using paid ads to grow even more from here. The problem is I have no idea how to do that! Hi everyone – I’ve recently been building a weekly business newsletter called Pulse of Progress and got my first 1,100 subscribers in just 14 days!
The best part? I used zero paid ads. All of my subs were completely free!
Here’s how I did it.
But first, let me provide some context…
For the last 6 months, I’ve been testing out different side hustle / business ideas. I have a running list of ideas that I test on forums like Reddit and Indie Hacker to get a pulse on what the public thinks. In my opinion, this is one of the best ways to validate an idea before investing any money or serious time into it. If it gets some traction or interest in the first few days, you know you have something. If not, its time to move on.
I start by generating some interest on social platforms and freelance websites (side note – I’ve come up with a method that helps me do this and get tangible results. So, if this is something you want to learn more about, let me know. I’ll make a post around this too). It’s an approach I’ve developed and tested over the last year with other ideas, so I just do the same with all other ideas I want to test / validate in the future. I want to see results fast, not waste time on non-value add activities.
Here are some of the business ideas I’ve tested:
1. Newsletter sponsorship marketplace – created a platform connecting newsletter businesses with potential advertisers. The marketplace allows the businesses to post their content and advertisers to find and book ad slots
2. AI based email marketing optimization tool – developed an AI tool that analyzes email marketing campaigns and provides optimization suggestions to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
3. Remote language exchange facilitation – pair individuals looking to learn each other’s languages and facilitate their language exchange sessions online
I shut all of these down. I couldn’t get the momentum I wanted or hoped for to consider them a success. The AI based email marketing optimization tool went viral on Hacker News and Indie Hacker, but it was because I was able to generate some hype around it for a short period of time. But the hype faded fast…real fast. I had about 100 people sign up for the service. As for my other businesses, I had a few signups here and there but nothing worth keeping the business alive and investing more of my time into it.
Something I want to call out at this point: all of the businesses I tried starting in the past were bootstrapped. I never used money I made from the sale of my other businesses. I sold one business (a virtual event planning business that took off during the pandemic. We organized and managed virtual events, think webinars / workshops / conferences, for specific interest groups and professional communities). I never touched the proceeds from that sale to start the company I currently run. The reason I bring this up is because I think your business, regardless of what it is, needs to stand on its own. If it couldn’t, I knew it was time to move on. I didn’t want to give myself a false sense of hope that it would work by continuously throwing money at it.
The reason I started a business newsletter…
A newsletter was perfect. It was easy to start and required no money to get it up and running. The purpose behind the newsletter was centered around the idea of creating something that informed and educated people but was entertaining to read. Reading in general, news or not, can sometimes feel like a chore (at least for me). This was the opposite. This was something you genuinely looked forward to reading, the things that influence your world and the decisions you make on a daily basis.
The biggest issue I had with everything else out there was that the content was around things I didn’t care about. Not to mention it put me to sleep half the time. And that’s when it hit me – create a platform that genuinely helped people stay ahead in this information heavy world. Filter out the nonsense, deliver on high-value content.
The test phase…

After the miracle of the feeding of more than five thousand people with five loaves and two fish, a wave of rejoicing broke out among the people to bring Christ to power and make Him king. But the Lord, not wishing to indulge in false ideas about the Messiah as an earthly king, withdrew again to the mountain alone (John 6, 15).
St. John Chrysostom writes: “They no longer defend the law, they no longer pay attention to the violation of the Sabbath, they are no longer jealous for God: they have abandoned everything as soon as the womb was full. Christ has also become a prophet to them, and they want to make Him king; but He refuses. Why? To teach us to despise worldly honors, and to show that He has no need of earthly things."
The disciples, leaving Christ on the mountain, went down to the sea and got into a boat and went to the other side of the sea, to Capernaum (John 6:16-17). At that time a strong wind arose and the waves raged. The evangelist John notes that the disciples had already sailed twenty-five or thirty stadia, that is, about six kilometers, when they saw Jesus walking on the sea and approaching the boat (John 6:19). Christ saw them distressed in their voyage, the boat was in the middle of the sea, it was beaten by the waves, because the wind was against them. Wherefore the Savior went to them through the sea.
Blessed Theophylact notes that Christ “allowed them to experience the storm in order that, when after the storm there should be silence, they might be more glad of what had happened, and that an indelible remembrance of it might be engraved in their hearts. When they were in danger, He appeared before them and drove away their fear by His word, and caused silence on the sea, and thus created a twofold silence: He tamed the confusion in their souls and the turbulence on the sea”.
The crowd of many thousands of people stayed overnight on the same deserted shore where the miracle of the feeding had taken place. All saw that only one boat stood near the shore, and that the disciples of the Savior entered that boat and sailed away, while Christ Himself went to the mountain. The next morning people apparently looked for Jesus, but did not find him. On boats that came from Tiberias, a city on the western shore of the sea, many went to Capernaum, wanting to find the Savior.
When they found Him, they asked, “Rabbi, when did You come here?” (John 6:25). Perfectly understanding the mood of the crowd that was looking for Him, the Lord said, “You are not looking for Me because you have seen miracles, but because you have eaten bread and have been fed (John 6, 26).
In His further words, the Savior calls us to think not of perishable food, which a man who does not know God seeks to satiate himself with, and which perishes with the body, but of that which endures forever and will serve for spiritual satiation.
We, dear brothers and sisters, should remember that man cannot do without the spiritual food that gives eternal life, that is, without Christ Himself. Those who are nourished by His pure Body and Blood can taste and see how good the Lord is. It is in this way that the Savior not only opens to those who believe the possibility of abiding in the presence of God, but also grants them union with Him in the sacrament of the Eucharist.

My fellow gamers, for too long has our community suffered the indignation of an intolerable culture that has denigrated, besmirched, exploited, and has outright demonized our culture of unique individuals with a genuine love of a hobby that they see as profitable and progressive. They have taken beloved IP’s (Intellectual Properties) and twisted them into their own personal ideological crusade of undermining and humiliating the core aspects of characters they deemed as “Toxic” or “White Supremacy”. Through the guise and protection of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity) & ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) they have used our influence in the entertainment industry to push their narratives and agendas that have stigmatized our culture with numerous anti-consumer practices that they call “being progressive”. But the truth of the matter is they were never really looking to be a part of our community, they simply wanted to use our community as a tool of activism and propaganda in the entertainment industry as it was extremely profitable, and they wanted inclusion in that division. Ever since GamerGate & Female Frequency, we have had to endure the incursion of forced ideologies, xenophobic behaviors and inferior overpriced products that have never been in our best interest and have been flat out disgraceful towards foreign media.
Before Gaming had become a major source of entertainment, we were often categorized as anti-social or societies rejects where because we found more enjoyment in playing fictional characters and not spending as much time out and about, we never fully assimilated in society (which is a good thing if you ask me). From 1998 to 2007, at the height of innovation, creativity and production, Gaming had reached a golden age in which it had revolutionized society. Hollywood Execs who had ruined the movie industry turned their attention to video games as a source of income since video games had outperformed movies in terms of profit. No one was concerned about gaming, much less diversity or inclusivity until it became profitable. This makes people like SBI look extremely disingenuous as they were not interested in gamers as a community with its own culture. They simply wanted to use it as another weapon in identity politics.
Microtransactions; the hidden enemy to gamer progress and inducer to mental laziness of our community. Microtransactions have been around for a long time; however, it has never been more potent and apparent than in recent years. It has aided in the dismantling and segregation of players on the ideology of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and has created another sub-culture of gamers who have no real drive to be better outside of how much money they put into the game. This has degraded our culture as well as we have become “fat” off transactional gaming but at the same time we have been “starved” of purposeful gaming where our achievements were our sustenance. I am not saying that microtransactions are bad, but when they are exploitative and predatorial like they have been and don’t give gamers room to grow, we become lethargic and unwilling to improve ourselves as gamers. Oversaturated microtransactional games are one of the many reasons why we have become complacent and unwilling to fight against the exploitative tactics used by big brand game companies such EA, Ubisoft, ActivisionBlizzard, NaughtyDog and so many other western business model companies. Western style games were not like this in the past, they had much more depth and actual effort put into them with the gamer in mind. This has not been the case for over a decade and our connection to western developers has been whittled down to just being transactional. That is one of the reasons why you see so many remasters and remakes in today’s gamer community. They have lost their willingness to improve as developers of games and simply accept corporate/share holder rules.
Game journalists also do not have any real integrity or purpose outside of being funded for their involvement in promoting IPG (Identity Political Games) in a positive light to the public whether it’s positively received or not. They are not interested in what we have to say, they all support the same agenda and that is why they are a dying breed. Within the next couple of years, they will be out of the job and more than likely they will not be able to stay in the industry giving how they have responded to past articles that have clearly been scripted on the premise of diversity and racism. Not only that, but most of them are also extremely hostile to the community as they stereotype and defame the individuals that are a part of the community they are supposed to serve. We have been mentally liberated from their lies and coercive tactics as we tend to laugh at their obvious attempt at virtue signaling while hiding their misdoings so that they can play the victim.
My gamer brothers & sisters, I would not suggest the following action that we must take now without good cause. I have weighed our options and the best option for us now is this…...CULTURAL SECESSION. Naturally this is a form of segregation where they would more than likely claim they are being segregated by the dominant culture of the gaming community but that is incorrect. For years now we have been the ones who are often marginalized and ostracized for the smaller portion of our community. And when we aren’t, we’re exploited for more funds so that these companies can stay in business only to subject us to low quality products that coincide with the “WOKE Agenda” that are often huge expenses to these big brands i.e. AAA/AAAA games that will eventually flop for its obvious forced diversity and bug infested product which will undoubtedly piss off the consumer to the point of wanting a refund. Losing copious amounts of capital and stock in the process, not to mention their reputation is permanently marred.
We must separate on every cultural level in terms of entertainment and ideology. We must reject everything from the west that promotes toxic western beliefs, practices, and exclusion from other cultures (i.e. Southeastern Countries such as Japan and Korea). Japan & Korea have been the targets of unjust discrimination from Western Developers, Western Journalists, Western Localizers (The Wokelizers) and Western Society Prejudice regarding their sense of aesthetics as Westerners hate the aesthetic sense of these countries. The reason why they resort to such base tactics isn’t just because it weaponizes the ideal female form but it’s also because they have deep-seated insecurities about their own looks so when they see attractive female characters, they use terms such as “unrealistic” or “hypersexualized” to establish the moral high ground. But the truth is, they want to feel superior to that which is ideal, so they insult and dehumanize this figure that portrays natural female beauty because they see it as an insult to their own social superiority in what they believe is a hierarchy of them being at the top of all other women. Because of this and so many contributing factors, their movies flop harder than the Fat Chocobo landing on a group of enemies and their games seismically fail just as much if not more. We must sever our connection to Western Developers, Publishers, and ALL Western-Centric Entertainment for they seek to mentally enslave us to their Xenophobic ideology.
Let’s define Western Culture and its traits. Western Culture/Society is composed of more than several different ideologies that work in unison with one another to facilitate dominance over multiple aspects of society. Business, Social, Political, Technological, and sometimes even Global Affairs are affected by these ideologies that portray a specific mindset of Western beliefs. What are those ideologies you ask?

These traits are so nefarious and unconscionable that I have a hard time believing that anyone could harbor them. However, given the social, political, and economic climate that we are in, those in power who use their influence on controlling society most definitely possess these insidious traits. Everything that they do is all about control and since video games are the biggest market in the world, they want control over it and the communities built around it to accrue more wealth and to use that wealth to subjugate other cultures. Mainstream media is a tool as well as mainstream organizations and sites to help accomplish this goal.
The government recently announced its intentions towards what they believe is “GamerGate 2.0” and now even the ADL has made an official appearance, referring to gamers as “extremist’s”. We know EXACTLY what they are doing, and they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore because they don’t think we are aware of their motives. This is just a pretext for them to exert even more control and we know why, it’s because they want the influence we as a community have to must serve them. So here is what we do my fellow gamers-
“In light of recent events and years of mainstream stigma, we the members of the Global Gaming Community [GGC] must officially renounce ALL TIES to the corporate western video game market. We have been financially exploited through predatorial monetization schemes, pelted with numerous articles of disdain and intentional misrepresentation from game journalists, news outlets regarding us as dangerous individuals and, even subjected to inferior products not only riddled with bugs but also products meant to push political agendas. For the preservation of our community and its unique culture, apart from a few select game development studios we officially sever all connections to western owned video game companies & their mainstream affiliates. From this point onward, we will no longer support western corporate developers, journalists and publishers that do not coincide with the goals of our community.”
Naturally this is completely optional. If you are okay with the state of the gaming community as it is, feel free to ignore this. But if you wish for real change and a break away from oversaturated monetization in the games you play and the push for radical ideological reform, then you are in the right place. Lets sever these rotted miasmic ties once and for all so that our community can be preserved and made better for future gamers. Hi everyone! I just finished my undergrad and will be doing a Masters for the next two years. Looking at applying in two cycles' time.
GPA: 3.82 (3.28 first year, 3.91 second year, 3.92 over 5 classes 3rd year, 3.97 4th year, 3.98 5th year)
Have a 3.95 for uOttawa (last 3 years full-time), 3.945 for Western (2 years with 5 courses per term)
MCAT: re-writing this summer, hoping for 127/127/127/127
CASPER: 4th quartile last year, hoping to repeat when I apply again

Examples of Wikipedia becoming less neutral and more biased against Israel since Oct 7
Historically, I used to always consider Wikipedia one of the best sources for anything Israel-Palestine related. It was not heavily politically biased, used fairly neutral language, and seemed to offer reasonable perspectives. (This was only true for the English wiki, the Arabic version was always exactly as you'd expect). However, I've been noticing a shift recently every time I read Israel related Wiki articles.
So I decided to check if it's all in my head. I looked at some wiki articles and compared their version today vs the last version before Oct 7 to see if there were any differences in narratives. Most articles are very long and it's very difficult to look at all the changes in huge amounts of text, so I decided to only look at the first 2-3 paragraphs in each article.
This mini investigation does show me that Wikipedia no longer holds the status of a neutral source, as there's a clear attempt to subtly rewrite history and insert anti Israel propaganda.
Israel
Today vs Oct 5
This was an easy choice to try first. Even just comparing the first few paragraphs, there are A LOT of changes. Most of the changes involve removing some information, condensing information, and paraphrasing. Two noticeable differences:
• First sentence in second paragraph: describing where Israel is located: they removed that Israel is in a region that historically was called "Land of Israel" (but they kept "Canaan, Palestine and the Holy Land") Source
• Today, the article claims that the 1947 UN partition plan triggered a civil war that resulted in "expulsion and flight". This is a completely false narrative. The pre-Oct 7 article is correct, saying that during the 1948 war - after declaring independence and 5 armies declaring war on Israel - Arabs were expelled or fled (it was not the partition plan that caused it) Source

As an aside, I found it strange that in the article about Israel, it did not mention even once the word "War of Independence". So I Googled "Israel war of independence", and I was very surprised to see that it redirects me to a wiki titled "1948 Arab–Israeli War". I'm 100% certain that last year there was a wiki with the title "Israel War of Independence" because I remember reading it many times. Our independence has been rewritten as just a war.

• Changed "Palestinian territories" to "Israel-occupied Palestinian territories" - I've noticed this specific change in almost every Wikipedia article that mentions the territories or Gaza Strip. There seems to be a concentrated effort to insert "Israeli-occupied" into many texts Source

Secondly, the claim that it's all in the name of "ending the occupation" is being pushed again... If that's all they want then why was there palestinian violence before 1967 when there was no occupation?) Source

Today vs Sep 20
This word has become a favourite in the anti Israel crowd (here in a suburb of Toronto they've even officially added "Nakba Remembrance Day" to the schools calendar). Even though this is an article about something that happened 75 years ago, so supposedly it should be pretty set in stone by now, the length of the article tripled since Oct 7. It's impossible to compare to the old version because it's been entirely rewritten. A few notes:
• The first sentence says all you need to know about the propaganda push. It used to be "The Nakba was the destruction of Palestinian society and homeland in 1948, and the permanent displacement of a majority of the Palestinian Arabs." that was already biased and very politically charged, but it's nothing compared to what it says now: "The Nakba was the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians ... through their violent displacement and dispossession of land, property and belongings, along with the destruction of their society, culture, identity, political rights, and national aspirations." This paragraph looks 100% like it's taken from Al Jazeera... Source
• There's a new metadata section, and it's complete Palestinian propaganda. It describes the Nakba as an "attack", the attack type is all sorts of buzzwords ("ethnic cleansing", "mass killing", "settler colonialism", "biological warfare", "dispossession"), the victims says "750k expelled" (the word "fled" does not appear there - it just claims 750k was expelled) Source
• A new article was created after Oct 7 that branched off the "Nakba" article. It's called "Nakba denial", and it basically says that any Israeli narrative on the war of independence or any debate about what happened in 1948 and any Israeli viewpoint on history is decidedly lies and denialism, and what Palestinians say is the absolute undebated truth. They are changing what the term Nakba means and based on that they're building a new term to make Nakba denial sound as if it's the same as holocaust denial. It's weird to see how history is literally being rewritten. That's akin to me writing a "War of Independence denial" article which will gaslight anyone who says anything related to Nakba is just partaking in denial.

• Difficult to compare because the first few paragraphs are entirely rewritten. Pre-Oct 7, the entire third paragraph was dedicated to arguments against calling Israel an apartheid. Now, they softened and shortened the wording dedicated to that, and instead of having its own paragraph, it's just two sentences that got appened to the end of the last introductory paragraph.
• I found it strange that except for these two sentences, there was no other sections in the entire long article that discuss opposing views. Usually on wikipedia, there are always sections that show "the other side". So I checked the article in other time points going back several years, and I noticed that over time the amount of text describing the Israeli position is being removed. Until 2017 there was a section about "Criticism of the apartheid accusation" (which you would expect to have!), but since then it's been removed and now we're left with a mere two sentences.
• Just for fun, I wanted to see how Arabic wikipedia talks about this. You're going to love this! This is the first sentence in the Arabic version: "Apartheid in Israel or Israeli racism is a proven fact in Israeli politics , as it is a policy of apartheid carried out by the government against the indigenous Arab population of the region." I never heard of this term, but recently I've been seeing many comments on islam talking about this and saying that this is Israel's tactic of attacking innocent civilians to get leverage against an enemy. Again, I never heard of this, I had no idea what this is, but what they claimed seemed very suspicious to me so I looked if that's true... from my research, it's a military strategy of not shying away from attacking civilian infrastructure if it's used by combatants, and it was devised after a war with Lebanon where the IDF failed because they treated Hezbollah-infested areas as civilian areas, which was ineffective in fighting Hezbollah.
• Since Oct 7, the first sentence on the wiki article changed from "destruction of the civilian infrastructure of regimes deemed to be hostile as a measure calculated to deny combatants the use of that infrastructure" to "destruction of civilian infrastructure in order to pressure hostile regimes." This new definition is exactly what the online community seems to use! • Again, for fun, I wanted to check out what Arabic wikipedia has to say about this. The first two sentences claim: "The Dahiya strategy ... approved by the Israeli government. The strategy states that "Finally, Israel has realized that the Arabs must be responsible for the actions of their leaders." ". Of course it seems very unlikely that the Israeli government stated such a strategy, so I followed the "source" for that quote, and of course it came from an opinion piece. A few months ago, Al Jazeera and the anti-Israel world at large were accusing Israel of harvesting organs from Gazans. Many of you probably remember this. I remember that such accusations have happened in many previous conflicts (always with 0 evidence), so I wanted to see if these "facts" reached wikipedia.
• Before Oct 7, there was no mention of Israel in this article. Today they added a subsection dedicated to Israel under "Suspected occurrences". It's about a story from 2009 about incidents from the 90s, so adding it now is very likely another attempt to add negative associations to Israel anywhere possible.
• The accusation in this article is also very biased itself - it claims that Israeli troops harvested organs from Palestinians. The real story seems to be that a specific Doctor and his lab did in fact remove organs from some corpses that arrived to their forensic lab without getting family permission. This was done to many Israeli victims of terror attacks, as well as Palestinians. It did not focus on Palestinians, and it was not done by the military. It was obviously illegal, but the wiki article paints it in a very different light to make it seem anti Palestinian.
• If you look at the other 3 coutries/cases mentioned on the Wiki page, those stories are much more widespread/organized and involved either killing people for their organs or stealing them from live people. The story that happened in Israel is much less extreme than that. I'm sure you can find stories of organ harvesting in many places. For example, I live in Canada so I just googled for "Canada harvesting organs indigenous" and the first link talks about how in Alberta, they have a law that allows harvesting organs from children who die in provincial care without asking for family approval, and 78% of those children are indigenous. There is no wiki article about it, it's not world news, you don't see masses of people trying their hardest to take facts from this story and twist it to completely demonize Canada. I'm sorry to end on such a note, but it really bugs me how much the world takes any story coming out of Israel and twists, magnifies, and spreads it and acts as if Israel is the only place where bad things happen :(

Remember that all my comparisons were only looking at the first 1-3 paragraphs of each article. Who knows how much details are removed/added/modified in the body of the articles.

MIL and SIL are in town allegedly to spend time with our toddler who they claim to miss.
MIL and SIL think I’m “controlling” because I like to know plans earlier than..as they are happening. My husband defended me but due to their comment I have stopped planning things for their family and just let them kinda flounder. They are constantly upset that they don’t get things my parents do like family pictures, brunches with Santa, and other things I organize with them and LO but I digress.
I’m not someone who acts like the entire world revolves around my toddler and I try to be accommodating as much as possible. Last night MIL and SIL proposed we meet in the nearby big city for a garden sale/flower sale. We said sure, it’s going to be nice weather and LO can run around.
So we are driving there and they call us. There’s a very busy bar near the flower sale and they’ve decided they want to have bottomless mimosas. This bar is not kid friendly and also because of the flower sale (and a home baseball game) it’s wildly crowded. My husband tries to talk them out of this idea but they are already in line and set on it.
We go and sit with them for awhile. I try to ignore the annoyed glares I’m getting for having my toddler at this bar. LO is behaving luckily but doesn’t sit still for long so my husband and I take turns going outside with LO, going to the park, going to see the flowers etc. The bar is so crowded you can’t walk inside. MIL and SIL engage with LO a bit at the table but seem more interested in their mimosas.
The brunch lasts THREE HOURS. Honestly we were outside for most of it keeping LO entertained. DH asks them several times if they are ready to leave and they kept just getting more mimosas and food. Then after brunch MIL and SIL want to go to the flower sale. At this point LO is starting to melt down as it’s very close to her nap time (we communicated this ahead of time but apparently it fell on deaf ears). DH declares we are leaving. MIL protests because she didn’t “get” her time at the flower sale with LO (aka pictures for Facebook). We leave anyway. MIL calls DH later to express her disappointment on how the day went.
So if you really wanted to see and spend time with your grandchild, why did you make the decision to sip mimosas at a crowded bar for 3 hours? Does that seem like a good activity for a toddler? Again not that it’s all about the toddler but if you claim you’re coming to see the toddler, shouldn’t it be a little bit about the toddler???

I would like to hear other people’s opinions, the following is my two cents:
In my opinion if Christianity can become less organized overall, and can attain a certain degree of self awareness, then perhaps something more akin to the early church can be developed, much less controlled and much more ideal to what a benevolent God would want.
But this is large ask, western civilization has been predisposed to organization since its inception and the church has a large history of “groupthink”.
However I believe with the right approach something akin to the early church can be achieved.
Firstly at the individual level, a person has to have a conscious, a certain degree of independence. This will be ideal for confrontation, but don’t just chuck a wrecking ball at there world view, rather let them become self aware on their own as to give them a sense of agency. Expose them to new ideas, LIGHTLY, again nobody likes a walking dictionary.
After this the individual can start to ask themselves the big questions, questions which differ from individual to individual due to personal circumstances. For some people the pain will be an instant, others will have an identity crisis for months. And you must council them, because you led them here.
Now let them build their own worldview, whether it be with old ideas, new ones, or homemade, or even a mixture.

For those still suffering, I want to share my journey to recovery from long covid - there is hope.
January 2024: I was 8 months into long covid and had gone from a fitness geek to walking at most 20 minutes a day and spending most hours on the couch. My primary symptoms were I had significant fatigue and PEM. Small exertions would lead to a 2 day crash. I had shut down my business and I was getting worse by the week.
I had help doing research including getting info from UCSF and trying various recommendations from doctors: LDN, diet and supplements, nothing helped much. I talked to a neighbor who had severe LC and he went to Alaska for Stellate Ganglion Blocks and was cured in 3 months. I was sceptical but willing to research anything. A friend who is an anesthesiologist help me with due diligence on the treatment evaluating the risks and potential benefits. After talking to two patients ( I found) that had recovered from LC after SGB treatment I decided to give it a try.
Long story short: 3 months after my treatment I am 100% cured. My business is reopened and I am back to cardio workouts 4 days a week. My recovery profile was just like my neighbor, to the week, so I do believe SGB is what cured us. In talking with the doctor during my treatment, some patients recover faster than others and there are difficult cases so dont expect 100% efficacy but the Dr does believe it's 80-90% effective.
I would not suggest anyone sign up for this just on my story. Do your research, and you need to accept that the cure may not come from a pill or something you eat. My cure came from different approach than what western medicine dictates - this could be the reason why they have not found a cure yet. I found many doctors just dont know how to treat long covid and you/we probably know more than they do.

I went to Anchorage, AK, but I also hear it's being performed in Texas as well. Unfortunately there are some less than reputable providers out there, so be careful in going cheap or not with a trained anesthesiologist.
I do believe Stellate Ganglion Blocks are the cure for long covid - it worked or me. We desperately need some research organization to study and publish results. If you know anyone in that area, please pass this along.

TLDR: I have bulk vintage baseball cards that I have offered at (what I think are) fair prices. The businesses I have approached have not given me any feedback other than, "No". What do I not understand about these business models? And what can I do to have more success in bulk sales?
Questions:
  1. Is there anything in the "Context" section below that I could improve or a rookie mistake I am making? Or anything you would find more appealing or useful as a business owner?
  2. What minimum % value do businesses typically offer to ensure they have profit margin?
  3. Could this offer increase if I accommodate in other ways, such as sending an inventory, sleeving, or organizing the cards how the business prefers?
Context:
I have 8,300 vintage baseball cards, most of which range within 1970 to 1979, with some as far back as 1960. They are all sleeved (or toploaded) and organized by yeanumber. I have a full inventory list, but it is so large that it can overwhelm. None are graded.
I priced by looking at Becket value ranges and then adjusting down for various conditions. (I took this tactic instead of Ebay or COMC because I found that vintage prices are more stabilized between all of these methods, unlike modern cards or current players.)
Additionally, I reduced the price down by 10%-20% to "show prices" so I could sell singles at some local card shows. That wasn't selling quickly enough, so I switched to a bulk sale strategy by contacting businesses.
Therefore, I also reduced the price down another 10%-20% because I know businesses who sell at shows need to make profit margins (and deal with overhead, sorting, inventorying, etc.).
I mentioned that I am happy to entertain counteroffers and I am not offended by offers of any size, but that I would do what I can to accommodate the business needs, including organizing them into whatever way that prefer.
I ensured them that I did not PC all the high-value cards and am trying to offload the rest. If anything, I am incentivized to sell as many expensive cards as possible because I am trying to get a return on my investment. I only PC-ed some cards of players that held personal significance to myself or family members, but these rarely corelated with expensive cards.
Overall, I think I am being reasonable and understanding of business needs. The total % that I am looking for is something like 50%-70% of each card's "value" as I see it. Which seems to leave plenty of room for profits, even when selling at card shows.

Side Note 1: If the issue is just that I haven't found the right buyer, does anyone know of sections of the industry which DO purchase bulk vintage? If someone within that sector happens to also send me advice on this thread, I don't think that's a conflict of interest. I can go through other means to negotiate with them to follow other rules. I just want people to get things they want.
Side Note 2: Some numbers for context. The last recorded price for everything was around $4,500. I am re-evaluating that from my side, but that's what I had late in 2023. Approximate Card counts per era: 1958-1964 = 200. 1965-1969 = 200. 1970-1975 = 3,500. 1976-1979 = 4,400. Total 1958-1979 = 8,300.
