Herpes symptoms sores armpit

So I’ve had what I think is LPR for just over three years.
Sore throat every day, constant post nasal drip, brain fog, burning ears (particularly when covered) and just a general feeling of unwellness. It hit me after I had an upper respiratory infection.
The thing is, what I eat doesn’t seem to make any difference to symptoms. Anyone else had this experience? I even went and got a Toupet Fundoplication, and that made zero difference.
Keen to hear your thoughts!

Symptoms: high fever (103-104, currently 100.4 at the time of posting), headache, sore throat, occasional light coughing, randomly shivering for ~10 minutes, and sometimes extra saliva
Starting a few days ago, I got sick from something. It was minor at first, with just a headache, but yesterday morning I woke up with a fever of 103. From what I've heard and read, that's bad. It wouldn't go down for a while from Ibuprofen or a cold bath. I layed down to wait for a ride to the doctor's, fell asleep, and woke up with it down to roughly 98. The docters tested for strep and it came back negative, and did nothing else other than to tell me to let it run it's course. I then went home and went to bed again early that night. I woke up in the middle of the night with a fever of 103.8, soon 104. I took more ibuprofen and layed back down under the fan and it went down about an hour and a half later. I just want to know what's wrong. I don't have my tonsils, and I rarely get sick anymore and when I do it's minor and doesn't last for very long. Ik I'm over reacting, but I'm just scared. Any information on how to help with the symptoms and what I might be infected with would be very appreciated.

Who do we go to that specializes in the womans reproductive system to help me with the symptoms I have?! It’s seems as if I have ENDO, BUT I DON’T HAVE A LOT OF SYMPTOMS. This is the first time something like this happens to me. I normally have a high pain tolerance, but my body is so stiff and sensitive now. I literally feel stressed. March 19, i went to ER for right pelvic pain: they said I had a hemorrhagic cyst under a cm due to ovulation. April 2, I went to a OBGYN, & she sent me off and said it will go away & the pain is likely to something else, to go to your primary care. April 13, I went to ER for right pelvic pain that let me sleep 1 hour throughout the night. Did ultrasound & CT: they said I had free fluid (blood) in my pelvic and lower abdomen. Within 1 week, all pain went away. I did lots of walking in 2 weeks after that week and felt fine. Little soreness here and there, but nothing major. Week of April 23, I was ovulating and some days it hurt a little bit on right pelvic area. I DID NOT MENTION THAT THE PAIN/DISCOMFORT LINGERS UP TO MY HIP AREA. After that week, little stings here and there. Since March 19, I had this little bump on my pelvic area and I still have it. It is just smaller. May 12, I started my period: I feel more discomfort. Doesn’t even feel like cramps and I normally don’t get cramps either, if I do it’s in the middle and this pain was coming from my right pelvic. May 16, stinging pain/discomfort coming from left pelvic! May 18, I’m writing this at 10:26pm & during the day I was ok, but during the late afternoon to this time i have more stinging and stiff pain. It’s not pain where I want to go to the er, but my body feels so irritated and vulnerable, that I want to cry. These few nights, I can barely lay down to sleep because both sides are stinging. I don’t want to stand up too long because it hurts or stretch bc it feels funny. I AM NOT DIAGNOSED W ANYTHING. BUT DO U THINK I COULD HAVE ENDO?!

I’ve been on 1gm valacyclovir twice a day again doctor haven’t/wont change my medication she swear she knows everything also period is approaching why do I still get outbreaks even on antivirals ? Haven’t had a break from the symptoms or outbreaks I’ve tried everything rn my whole mouth is itchy and tingling right along with 2 cold sore blisters forming around mouth/lips in opposite side of mouth/lips idk what to do.🥹😢😢😢😢

In October 2023, I got Strep Group A. It was definitely the worst bout for me symptom-wise. I couldn’t swallow anything without immense pain, and I was very nauseous. After my antibiotic treatment (Penicillin), my main symptoms all went away except I continued to have the chills. I went in for another test once the chills became unbearable at night and a mildly sore throat, a month after I started my 10 day antibiotic course. The rapid test came back negative.
On Thanksgiving, I had an incredibly sore throat much like last time but was less feverish. I got tested, my rapid test came back negative but my throat culture tested positive for Group B. I went through a 10 day course of Amoxicillin, and I never really felt better weeks after.
Both of the previous labs were administered by my university’s student health center. The semester had ended, so I went to MedStar’s walk in to get another throat culture as I still had the same symptoms with the new addition of chest pain. To quote the NP I saw at MedStar
“Your symptoms do not meet the scorecard. You’re 23, you have the body of a BMW and you will be fine.”
… I get younger people are naturally healthier but, what a dismissively crass thing to say. Also, I’m not built like that I’m in skinny fat with a pronounced muffin top lmao.
With that being said, she refused to administer a throat culture to make sure I still don’t have Group B despite pleading with her that my symptoms have not changed, along with the addition of chest pains. I continued to have the same symptoms for months, but the chest pains went away by the new year.
I’ve felt somewhat better since, but the occasional sore throat and chills weren’t uncommon. Actually, I’ve gotten chills pretty much everyday but seemingly only when I lay down in bed at night.
Fast forward to the end of April, my tongue was in splitting pain with a sore throat and I decided to get tested. I came back to my home town where I saw an NP in the walk in… she believed it was post nasal drip but she administered a throat culture upon my request and it turned out I had strep again, Group G this time. So thankful they agreed to give me a throat culture.
They prescribed a 5 day Azithromycin antibiotic course, which I finished on May 1st and mostly everything went away except the chills. Last weekend on the 13th, my sore throat and fever came back so I went back to the walk in, just got my results today that I still have Strep, but they can’t identify which group other than it or being Group A. I have been prescribed a 10 day course of amoxicillin.
My mind is spinning… what in the actual hell is going on?
*Something else I find strange… throughout these times when I didn’t know I had strep even though I did including last month, none of the people I have shared a vape with, a drink with, or kissed have gotten sick.
I can’t see an ENT for months because of the healthcare system, and I’m rightfully getting worried. Having strep for at least a month, and god knows for how long if Group B never went away, is making me concerned about rheumatic fever. I’m really uneasy and anxious about all of this.
Important to note, when I was taking my antibiotic courses the previous 3 times, I really screwed up and was drinking heavily while on them. I had developed alcoholism the same month when I first contracted Strep. I was not considerate or knowledgeable of how alcohol would interact with the antibiotics, and I will not be drinking on this course and I’m really hoping this will help. My throat has had small red bulging spots since October that have never went away, and it’s making me concerned that Strep has been present in my system since and simply hasn’t gone away.
I am also a chronic vaper, which could seemingly line up with my frequency to strep over the last few months. I’m treating my vape like my toothbrush head, getting rid of them.
Am I tweaking for being worried rheumatic fever? And is it strange that I’m prone to multiple groups of strep, or is this reasonable for someone with a weakened immune system? Am I tweaking for being dismissively compared to a BMW because of my age when in fact I’m built more like a 2010’s Mitsubishi?

My breast's used to be so full and sore and now it's completely gone. I'm still neaseated off and on but I feel like all symptoms just went away over night. I haven't had any cramping or bleeding. I did have an US at 6w2d and baby had a heartrate of 121. I'm so worried something is wrong. My next appointment isn't until 10 weeks. I have only been pregnant one other time 13 years ago and it was successful. I'm 29 now and I'm so nervous something isn't right.

Bit of a far fetched thing, but since I’ve started Vyvanse I’ve been getting hypothyroid symptoms and recently tested for normal levels besides one being in the subclinical range. Leading to the doctor to presume “subclinical-hypothyroidism”
Has anyone had this experience where the meds were messing with your thyroid production, it’s strange to me but I don’t believe I had any issues with my thyroid before especially given what the current side effects are.
It’s quite disheartening because Vyvanse has really helped me in other ways but would switching to any of the other stimulants have less of an effect on it messing with my thyroid? Or has anyone switched and had say Ritalin or dex IR stop the fluctuating thyroid levels?
It seems a bit rich that all of a sudden I’m having thyroid issues or it was already messed up previously because as I’m aware it’s never been a problem in the past prior to started treatment which leads me to suspect Vyvanse.
Symptoms; (common/uncommon side effects but as a whole point towards something else)

• dry course hair, alopecia, diffuse thinning and eyebrow hair loss (typically a sign of hypo)
  
• difficulty sleeping/nightmares (consistently)
  
• cold sensitivity (especially in the hands)
  
• no consistency day to day on meds (despite being strict w/ diet and supplementation)
  
• fatigue. Muscle/joint soreness (sporadically)
  
• tend to wake up w/ a puffy face/sinus pressure.
  

If anyone has had any experience with these issues, or your thyroid was messing up during ADHD treatment I’d love to hear from you!

I started on 20mg and increased to 30mg at 1 month and have stayed there since.
I understand this isn’t a cure all, and it does come down to working on these things myself. But the main point is I believe it’s effecting my immune system, and 3 months in it’s gotten worse in those particular areas, like the focus of the post being thyroid TSH rising and was wondering if someone in here had experienced this or become diagnosed w/“subclinical-hypothyroidism”, or at least the same side effects that could mimic it. If it’s not common with anyone in the community I guess it shows it could be either a variable of the meds affecting me individually based on my own physiology or is unrelated entirely and is an underlying issue.

I’ll start by saying I live in Canada and over the last 3 months I’ve seen several doctors including dermatologists and still have no official diagnosis and after constantly being dismissed, I’m starting to feel alone and defeated.
My ‘journey’ started in the middle of February with some intense itching in my inner thighs with no visible rash. I saw my dermatologist two weeks later and she suspected scabies but since there was no rash she couldn’t confirm anything. For the next two weeks, I felt biting sensations in my private area and the itching continued so I went back to see her. By this time the itching had moved to my armpits as well. Again, no sign of an infestation or any rashes, so told me to try anti-itch creams. There was no improvement over the next month and by now I felt like something was crawling on my skin, so I went to a walk-in clinic. Doctor couldn’t see anything that would cause any of these symptoms. They thought it was jock itch but I insisted that we explore scabies, so she told me to try 5% permethrin cream. The pharmacist sold me one tube and so I went home, followed the directions on the box and went to sleep. Woke up the next morning, washed my sheets, clothing, took a shower and figured that’s all I needed. A few days later I noticed small rashes between two of my fingers and both armpits but thought nothing of it for a couple of weeks. The itching sort of subsided but the biting and crawling sensations continued so I went to a different pharmacy and was told that I should have applied permethrin again 7 days after the first application and since I didn’t, I should just apply it as soon as possible. I bought another tube and applied it the same way as the first time, right before bed. Again, woke up, threw my stuff in the wash, took a shower and went about my day. By now I was also vacuuming daily, wearing latex gloves, wiping surfaces down with Lysol wipes, changing bedding every morning and drying everything on high heat.
A few days go by and the rashes started fading but the everything else was still there so I went to a different dermatologist and she told me that it’s definitely not scabies and that my skin was just a little dry. I sort of didn’t believe her but also kind of felt relieved as for at least two months prior to seeing her, I stayed away from everyone and worked from home and wanted to get back to my life. And so I did.
Fast forward two weeks and I discovered about 15-20 itchy pimple-like bumps on my forearm. That was 4 days ago. These pictures are from today and I now have over a hundred itchy bumps that keep spreading up my arm and since I didn’t take any precautions over the past few days have a also spread onto my genitals. Plus, my neck has a crazy rash that started this morning and it’s so itchy.
I’m so confused and I’ve been sitting at home all day, reading through hundreds of different posts trying to figure out if I had scabies and now have post scabies or if I’ve been reinfested with scabies. I will add that I’ve consistently been taking oral antihistamines since February and started trying different things like clove and neem oils, as well as 10% sulfur ointment since April, but nothing has helped. I’ve also been sitting in a near infrared sauna for 30 minutes from December until about a month ago and am wondering if maybe that’s why I didn’t have any visible signs of scabies until a few weeks after I stopped.
Not sure if I’m looking for an answer or to simply tell my story, but I’m open to opinions and advice.

After months of my practitioners barely giving me enough medicine to keep the yeast at bay following multiple rounds of powerful antibiotics. They said I qualified for the appointment based on the duration of my symptoms and the yeast not responding to traditional care. I have tested negative for STIs, autoimmune disorders, and multiple scans of my body have revealed absolutely nothing. Most of my tests have returned negative for yeast despite obvious yeast as witnessed by myself and several doctors.

Long story…I can answer any questions but I don’t have the energy to even type everything🤔. I’ll post some pics or a video if I can and hopefully someone can identify…been dealing with SO MANY issues I’ve never dealt with in my life. I started expelling these after all the herbal protocols and oils, pinworm prescription for 3mg ivermectin and pairing it with Reese’s pinworm banana shot…in my nose, lips , nails, etc…seemed to also be fungal and Candida/biofilm stuff. Been doing enemas with tons of ingredients that thin out and pull the stuck things out. Just started passing what I assume to be flukes but have no idea about the worms this is so embarrassing and I keep trying to not give up…I’m so done you guys.. - the biggest things and worms were taken recently, smaller ones happened over the months, I do have pets and believe it started from my feet as I get “athletes foot “ and the symptoms just worsen. -spreading rashes, sores or weird marks, scar tissue inflaming, etc.,

Hello, 4 weeks back had hooked up with a lady. Had unprotected penetration for few seconds. Came back to my senses and wore a condom and carried on.
Last week noticed a boil on my penis shaft. I should have left it alone. I tried to pop it out . Also , foolish of me to apply undiluted Dettol on it. This led to skin irritation and caused burn like sacrs near the area. Now it has dried out but still have bumpy scars .

Hello all,
I have an irregular cycle ranging from 32-35 days. I took an ovulation test the 30 which was positive. I am now on cycle day 35. I took a clear blue early test today and it was negative. I usually have very sore boobs and cramping a few days before my AF. I don’t have any of those symptoms. I was extremely bloated last week which is uncommon and had some sharp pain cramps for about an hour on and off last Sunday the 12th. I use an ours ring for BBT- my temp is up a little bit at the last two mornings .6 degrees. I know the clear blues are sensitive and mostly accurate- any opinions? Thank you in advance. 🙂

I am not able to lay down with the undersides of my forearms on the ground without causing discomfort and possibly worse tingling in my ulnar nerve. I also cannot supinate (turn my palms upward) or I will get worse tingling in my ulnar nerve. I've had this problem for years, but it gets worse year over year and it's very uncomfortable positioning my arm even on a mattress at night. I cannot put my right arm in my lap when laying down because it will cause a pulling in my pec/under my armpit lats area. Has anyone else had a similar problem or been able to come up with a solution (or fix it?) I've had symptoms 5 years, thickening of my ulnar nerve on my ultrasound * subluxation but normal EMGs so I haven't had surgery yet; also not sure if it could be neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome

44 years old, bio female - started taking Testoquench a week ago. I started my period at age 11, so I'm 100% sure I'm in perimenopause. Recent blood test showed high levels of free testosterone and high DHEA-s. My thyroid levels were normal, estradiol normal, and progesterone normal. The last 10 months my symptoms have really amped up. Lots of hair loss, horrible cystic acne on my chin, painful periods, brain fog, fatigue, and mood swings.
My doctor recommended Testoquench. Within a week of taking Testoquench I immediately felt better. I'm one week away from the start of my period. Normally I'd have a chin covered with painful pimples and sore breasts - so far neither (thank God!) I feel more focused and it's much easier for me to wake up in the mornings. 7 months ago I received unprotected oral and immediately started to have nerve pain in my genital area and urethritis. I had no visible symptoms and a 3 days later went to urgent care. I was tested for everything and came back negative. From there, I’ve had continued nerve pain and burning often and even some cuts that have showed up in my groin as well as flaking skin. I haven’t had vesicles, but have heard HSV can look like cuts. ’ve had these swabbed by PCR and swabs done on the area 10 times - all negative. They have also been done within 48 hours of noticing symptoms. I’ve also tested by blood 8+ times, the most recent 6 months after exposure. It was positive for HSV1, but I’ve been positive since I was 13 with cold sores. Everytime it is negative for HSV.
With negative swabs continually and no HSV2, is it save to say this isn’t HSV?

my candidas albicas is one of the worst yeast infections. i stopped eating sugar. insert fungal cream once a week as prescribed. had sore swollen random lymph nodes. one behind my neck , one on my thigh, two on my arm. left earache. pain in left armpit. doctors don't have a clue. i believe it's from my candidas. i think i'm getting better cause pain and swelling has stopped. but i still have some burning on v a g. burning left arm has stopped. i get the feeling from going to gyno doc and MDs. they don't really know a lot about yeast. it affects everyone differently. you wouldn't believe how many gynos i went to in the beginning , that sent me home with nothing. one told me it was all in my head. that's not that uncommon to hear. my vag was a little swollen and he didn't see it. another doctor did. that's when things got rolling.

My daughter, 15F, started feeling ill Apr 28. It started with fever, body ache, and congestion/sinus pain and cough and ear ache, and deep fatigue. We treated with advil/tylenol, figuring it was just a normal cold. It was getting worse and throat was very inflamed (though not sore, apparently) with those white spots so started clarithromycin May 5 (allergic to amoxicillin). Did a course of 7 days, twice daily. May 6 we started doing peridex rinse 2x day, and saltwater baking soda rinse every 2 hours. A couple days into this routine, her throat started hurting badly but the fever and other symptoms started getting better. But throat has been steadily getting worse, along with pain in the back of the head and neck, and still a bit of a cough. The doctor prescribed another course of clarithromycin since the throat is still inflamed with white spots (picture in link is current). We are on day 3 of the second course of clarithromycin. We have had a swab come back negative for strep and a mono blood test also come back negative. The pain in throat, back of the head and neck seems to be getting worse, worst in the mornings upon waking. The tylenol and advil do help the pain.
If it's not strep or mono, what else could this be?
(Taking vit D 5000iu/day due to deficiency, and iron supplement as well, normal dose)

I am almost 40 and almost 8mpo. Before my hysterectomy (outside of mounting cramping and bleeding from the fibroids) my cycle was and always had been super, super regular. I could largely plan on which days I would have sore breasts, PMS, the start and end of my period, and ovulation symptoms. I’ve continued to track my cycle, largely just to be mindful of PMS days and also to try to keep track of ovulation as I enter into perimenopause territory. This tracking had continued to go like clockwork until the last two months or so, where I feel like symptoms are happening a lot more loosey goosey. Just wondering if anyone has wisdom to share here? After removing the uterus, does the cycle itself start to fade away? Is this a perimenopause thing? Thank you!

Sore as fuck boobs, cramping on and off.
Period is on the way. Another week or so to go.
My emotions? All over the damn place. Been feeling so low, more depressive symptoms than anxiety. Angry and snappy, crying... Ugh. Feel like everyone hates me even though they don't. Logically, I know they don't and I can rationalise things but still, I'm in my big baby feelings atm.
That 10mg of Lexapro is fighting for its LIFE this cycle I'm telling ya. 😂
Fuck PMDD, man. This really is ass.

I found a kitten in my woods about two weeks ago. She had an eye infection, was extremely defensive, had flies around her. Took her to the vet and treated the eye infection, and she fully recovered. She went to the vet again because she was having trouble with bowel movements. She was dewormed and given medication, and then we began adding pedialyte to her formula to keep her hydrated. That seems to have solved that problem.
A few days ago I noticed she sounded like she had trouble breathing after she was eating, so I didn’t know if she was aspirating her food or if she had developed an upper respiratory infection from the eye infection. I’ve read that kittens can get cat herpes, especially strays, which she is definitely a descendant of the many strays around our house. Took her to the vet, and they said that’s what it was and gave her an injectable antibiotic.
It’s only been 24 hours (so maybe I’m overreacting) since the vet, but while she is eating much better, is still very alert and playful, she’s breathing very heavily and it sounds like her lungs have gotten more rattly. I washed all her bedding and everything to get rid of whatever residual germs there are.
Does anyone have experience with this? And how long should I wait to see if symptoms improve before I go see the vet again? She’s fine 90% of the time but her post eating behavior is making me nervous!
