2024.05.26 07:35 Dammit_Meg If You're Struggling W/ FB Ads... Read This

So, a lot of you aren't going to like this.
Those of you who work at agencies ESPECIALLY won't like this, because it's gonna make those of you who are lazy and blame everyone else for your problems...
Well it's gonna make you look like you're lazy, and blame everyone else for your problems.
So here's my central thesis for this post, done in my best Alec Baldwin impersonation:
"Facebook's not weak, YOU'RE weak!"
Okay, fair enough, Facebook is actually kinda shitty. But have you heard that old (admittedly misogynistic) joke, "Women, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em?"
Well that describes FB.
I hate FB. I despise it with every fiber of my being.
But... it also makes me a lot of money. So I still run a lot of ads on there.
Quick note about me so you know I'm not some random dipshit: Been in online marketing for a long time, been running ads for about 5 years. Currently do about $5mm a year in spend, a decent chunk of it with my own personal cash for my own business. I still consult and run ads in JV/partnership deals, however, so not ALL my own money.
So, lots of posts lately about FB being shitty. Interestingly enough like many things there have always been these posts en masse. ios14 was a huge turning point in this industry. And it seems to keep getting worse and worse.
That said there's still people CRUSHING it on FB on a daily basis. Individuals who are doing 50k - 100k in spend a day (I've been one of them, right now more like 20k a day though.)
And these are direct response guys, not big ass brands who can afford to throw cash away.
So the question is... why are you struggling and they aren't?
Well first of all let me let you in on a secret: FB sucks for them too. It sucks for me, it sucks for all of us.
But if you want to be successful, you need to focus on what you CAN control, not what you can't.
So here's my rules for success:
  1. UNDERSTAND FACEBOOK SUCKS
I've run five copies of the exact same ad in the same ad set at the same time and gotten wildly different results. That's why I test the way I do (Test images/videos and copy at the same time, so I can have duplicates of everything and cross reference/aggregate performance)
Also understand something that works in your market is half the battle... you need something FB likes too. Which you'll never know what it is until you stumble upon it.
Which brings me to my next point...
  1. YOU'RE NOT TESTING ENOUGH
I've seen SO MANY posts where people are like, "We've tested TEN IMAGES and nothing works!!!"
My friend. 10 images is what I test in a day. I've been known to test 100 videos a week. I'll write ten pieces of copy for one day's testing.
Do I do this every day? No. I wish I could. I don't have the time/energy. But ideally I SHOULD be doing this every day.
Now if you're running a budget of $100/day obviously you have a lot less you can test.
But my point is... even for those of us who know what we're doing... it takes a LOT of creative testing to get a hit.
Creative testing should be 80% of your time on FB. The guys who tell you it's about the campaign structure or whatever... I mean yeah that stuff is important and can help. But if your creative is good you can kind of ignore that stuff and still get decent results.
Oh and every account is different in terms of what it likes. So you kind of have to treat them separately and test creatives on each. Have fun!
  1. IF YOU'RE A MEDIA BUYER AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND CREATIVE YOU SHOULD GET A NEW JOB
Look, not everyone is a great copywriter, or video producer, or artist.
But any good media buyer should be able to take a guess at WHY the creative isn't working, and what should be changed. They should know how to test in a way that is getting these insights that can then be used to further iterate on and improve creatives.
I have met some media buyers who don't know shit about creative but are great at scaling. They're rare, but they're out there. Maybe 10 - 20% of great media buyers are like this. But these people could never fly solo. They only shine in a team with a big creative producing "engine". And they still know how to test to get that learning - they just don't really know why.
  1. YOUR TESTING STRATEGY SUCKS
Tests are experiments. They should, as much as possible, isolate one variable.
So many times I hear about people testing in different campaigns, or on different days of the week, or whatever.
No. Testing is in one campaign. Usually different ad sets because otherwise FB will pick a favorite, but if I could throw all ads in one ad set and have FB evenly spend I'd do that.
Furthermore, you should have a very clear goal when you test. "We're testing angles." "We're testing whether red or blue gets a better CPC." "We're testing which of these 10 pieces of ad text does the best."
Don't just throw up a bunch of random videos. At least not often. Test one element. An intro. A CTA. Whatever. Have a plan, and stick to it.
  1. WHAT AGENCIES TELL YOU IS BULLSHIT
And the worst part is then the people working there start to believe it.
A small incomplete sample of bullshit things I've heard:
"Facebook has to get out of the learning phase."
False. A good creative will work pretty much straight away. FB's pixel's been dogshit since ios14. Yes, generally training a pixel will help, but this "it needs 7 days of learning" horse shit is just that... horse shit. Often said by people who want to make excuses rather than get down and dirty and do the hard work - making good creatives.
"The pixel takes time to learn."
A half-truth, see above.
"It takes a month to even start getting data"
If I took a month to get data I'd be destitute. You should be able to test if a campaign is going to work in a week, assuming you have the creative ready to go.
If you can't figure out whether something's going to work in a week or two and 1 - 2k of spend, you suck at your job.
If you can't spend 1k a week, then you're working with a client that's super small and that has its own set of challenges, especially on FB.
And if an agency tells you they can't give you some damn good data and an action plan on exactly what you should do in a week or two, run from them and find someone else.
There are more that get my goat but you get the point.
BTW... MOST (not all) agencies work like this:
They sell you a ton of bullshit. You sign on as a client. They give you a junior they get from the Philippines or Eastern Europe for like $400 a month while charging you $3k. They give you endless excuses for months on why results aren't there until you finally leave but hey at that point they got like $15k in profit out of you... they don't care.
WHY I POSTED THIS:
  1. Because there are people on here who believe this shit and waste time spinning their wheels when they could be getting traction
  2. Because I hate lies and incompetence
  3. Because I enjoy watching all the terrible media buyers come out of the wood work and try to argue with me on why I'm wrong (seriously, do it. Let's go. I need to procrastinate when I should be writing copy.)
And if you think I'm looking for clients... I'm not. I don't really have the time. Unless you want to do a profit share deal and your biz is already doing at least $1mm a year in revenue, then yeah, PM me, but it's gotta be a very attractive proposition for me to work on your shit.
Full disclosure: I am considering starting a YT channel where I basically get drunk and/or high and rant about shit like this for 5 - 10 minutes at a time. But as you know there's no money in that.
IN CONCLUSION:
Most of the shit you've heard is dead wrong and spread by people who either don't know any better or want to sell you this fantasy that ads are impossible. They're not. They're just a lot of hard fucking work.
BTW, you can reach out to me via PM for questions but honestly I'd rather you post it here so we get a discussion going and please don't take it personally if I don't have the time to answer back.
Now stop being on reddit and go make some more creatives and write some more copy to test.
Oh, and to all the lame media buyers who are upset that someone's shining lights on just how lazy and useless they are:
Bring it on, bitch.
P.S. I don't know why the preview is showing all my numbers as "1". I swear I learned how to count, even if it took me longer than some of the other kids. If anyone knows how to fix that, please post a comment or PM me. Bonus points for a funny joke at my expense.

I recently had the chance to try out the Seki Japan Folding Fruit Knife, and I must say, it's a game changer for fruit prep. With a 3.3-inch stainless steel blade and an orange plastic handle, this little guy is perfect for cutting and peeling small fruits.
The thick tip of the handle fits comfortably in your hand, and the small hollows on the blade prevent it from slipping out when you're taking it out. Plus, the blade folds into the handle itself, making it not only easy to store but also safe for skin contact. It's such a convenient design, especially for those summertime BBQs or camping trips. The closed length of this folding knife is only 9.9cm, so it's perfect for carrying around in your pocket or a bag.
As an added bonus, this knife is made by the reputable Seki cutlery, known for their high-quality knives both domestically and internationally. They're made one by one by skilled Japanese craftsmen, ensuring their precision and strength. However, it's essential to remember that these knives are sharp and should only be used as intended. Be cautious when handling them, especially around children, and always store them away from little hands.
Overall, the Seki Japan Folding Fruit Knife has been a great addition to my kitchen and outdoor toolkit. Its unique features and high-quality craftsmanship make it a reliable and versatile choice for anyone who needs a compact, sharp, and easy-to-use fruit knife.

🔗Spectrum TiNi Coated Stainless Pocket Knife with Jigged Bone Handle

https://preview.redd.it/0wmb16ybjp2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=266e03cd4678745e23f7f8a606f29a44e131645f
The Frost SHS107RB Peanut Spectrum, or simply the Peanut Spectrum, is a unique and eye-catching pocket knife from the line of Frost Cutlery & Knives. Measuring in at 2.88 inches (7.32cm) when closed, it's a practical size for daily use while also standing out in a crowd.
One of the first things I noticed about this knife is the Spectrum TiNi coated stainless clip and pen blades. The coating gives them a sleek, glossy finish that adds a touch of elegance and a sense of quality to the knife. The blades are sharp and precise, making it a useful tool for everyday tasks.
The white jigged bone handle and nickel silver bolsters give the Peanut Spectrum a distinct look that is both timeless and modern. The inlay shield adds a subtle touch of class, protecting the handle from wear and tear.
While the Peanut Spectrum is a well-designed and functional pocket knife, it does have one minor drawback - it's made in China. This might be a concern for some users who prefer products made in the US or other countries with certain manufacturing standards.
Overall, the Peanut Spectrum is a stylish and practical pocket knife that would be a great addition to anyone's daily carry. The coated blades, elegant handle, and durable construction make it a worthwhile investment. Just remember to keep an eye on its origin when considering its value in the market.

🔗Quality Mini Trapper Knife with Stainless Clip and Spey Blades

https://preview.redd.it/4ih3j4fcjp2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=65df02f19bfe41083e6d04555cf3fc0c8e0aef1b
The Rough Rider RR839 Tiny Trapper Knife has made its way into my daily life, and it's a charming companion to have. It's incredibly small, easily fitting into a pocket and drawing attention with its intricate details. Made from stainless steel with quality that shines through every nook and cranny, the knife looks as good as it performs.
The knife features a useful clip and Spey blades, which come in handy when tackling everyday tasks. To add to its charm, it has nickel silver bolsters, giving it a touch of elegance. I must admit, while the knife is tiny, it may not always be the best choice for more demanding jobs, but it certainly does the trick for simple tasks. I'd highly recommend this Tiny Trapper Knife to anyone in search of a cute pocket companion for day-to-day life.

🔗Rough Rider Miniature Abalone & Mother of Pearl Knife Set

https://preview.redd.it/p28pbc3djp2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ebb11f74c4a17ad305f82e2e9267847d5b444328
I recently stumbled upon the Rough Rider RR1710 Miniature Knife Set, and I have to say, its charm captured me right away. This set of six adorable knives, each with a mirror polish finish stainless steel blade, showcases a beautifully crafted blend of abalone and mother of pearl handles, accented by nickel silver bolsters.
The keyring attachment is a nice touch, allowing you to easily carry these miniature knives with you wherever you go. The set's dimensions are compact, making it perfect for slipping into a pocket or pouch. However, despite its small size, don't be fooled – the blade lengths are surprisingly efficient at 1.13 inches.
While carrying these tiny knives, I have found a few drawbacks. The smaller size can make them a bit difficult to handle for those with larger hands. Additionally, the fact that they are made in China might be a concern for some regarding quality control and material sourcing.
Overall, the Rough Rider RR1710 Miniature Knife Set is a delightful addition to any collection, but it's essential to weigh the pros and cons and determine if its unique design and compact size are worth the trade-off for its potential drawbacks.

🔗Rough Rider Pink Bone Tiny Stockman Pocket Knife - Cute and Tiny

https://preview.redd.it/8dhpgwfdjp2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ce54058f74d1dba78d0253dbb862d37f64cb369
I recently tried out the Rough Rider Pink Bone Tiny Stockman Pocket Knife and I must say, it's a cute and quirky little tool. The unique pink smooth bone handle catches your eye instantly, and it's surprisingly comfortable to hold, despite its petite size. This knife sports 2" closed, which allows it to fit snugly into the pocket without being bulky.
The Rough Rider comes equipped with a 440 stainless clip spey and sheepsfoot blade that's perfect for everyday use. As someone who's used to larger, heavier knives, this little guy can be a bit of a challenge to open, but once you do, it's surprisingly effective.
One of the best aspects of this pocket knife is the colorful, attention-grabbing handle. It's a great choice for those who love color and want a unique knife for everyday carry. The design is minimalist and doesn't take up too much space, making it a practical addition to any bag, purse, or pocket.
However, it's not all rosy. The blade itself is quite small, bordering on impractical for some tasks. It's just something to keep in mind if you're looking for a knife that can handle more strenuous duty.
Overall, the Rough Rider Pink Bone Tiny Stockman Pocket Knife is a cute and functional option for those who love color and practicality in a miniature form. Yes, it's small, but its charm makes up for it. If you're looking for a pocket knife that stands out from the crowd, you've found it.

2024.05.26 07:32 RazzmatazzBeginning1 The game is a breath of fresh air

This game is a step back in all the right ways I really can't express how much I've come to enjoy it. It's like the they listened to everyone about all the thinks they hate about cod and made a game fixing all those issue. Let's do a comparison because Let's be honest cod is the standard for fps [Guns]
Pistols- actually are a secondary now not super op beating primary guns
Smg- actually are short to mid range not beating an ar across the map which I love.
Ar- mid to long range not winning cq against smg unless you get the jump on them.
Shotguns- hot garbage unless right in there face
Snipers- I think are great could use a little more flinch when being shot at.
Lmg- haven't used enough but feel OK
Marksman- a blast to play with
Ttk- is perfectly fine if you use the guns the way they're actually supposed to be used
Attachments aren't ridiculous I don't need 50 different grips I end up using the same 3 anyways
No kills streaks and no laying down makes for way less camping!
And team playing is encouraged in almost everyday from getting kills to capturing objectives because of the ability's which I think is great
Maps are fun and easy to learn
No sbmm!!! People that don't like that are the people who need it get guud lol
The gun range is better in every way! It really let's you get a feel for the guns not just some stupid 3 targets moving
Also it's free! And it isn't 300gb to download its like 30 the way cod should be! I don't need your awful sorry excuse of a campaign I don't play warzone and zombies sucks just give me multiplayer
I think the game looks great guns look cool characters look cool not some rubber ducky or Nicki running around in high heals finishing Me with an elf. Sorry snoop but you're ridiculous too
Cod would be great if it wasn't a reskin that cost 70 dollars that gives you easier lobbies when you buy there stupid skins I didn't buy the battle pass for xdefiant but I'm way way more willing to cough up 10 bucks because the game was free! And they give enough coins to in the battle pass to continue getting it
Does the game need some work yeah but let's not kid are selves cod also needs work!
I've played every cod since cod 3 and in recent years I've just gotten fed up I played ranked play and got to diamond 2 so I'm a decent player yet when I hop into a pub lobby and have a good game I get put against sweats for the next 3 match's I get that sbmm might have been in the older cods but they were obviously better because I didn't feel it so much I didn't jump into public lobby to play ranked play it's dumb I didn't come fresh over from cod I've been taking a break for a few months playing helldivers 2 and then started playing this so maybe it wasn't so much of an adjustment for me because all I hear is people complaining but honestly this game made me enjoy playing first person shooter games again if you haven't played yet ignore what people are saying and give it an honest try give it a good 10hr cod session try. Will I never play cod again no but I'm not paying full price for one very again not after knowing games like this are out there for free. If you think I'm wrong you're probably right it's your opinion vs mine just putting my 2 cents out there and trying to show some love because all the hate I'm seeing for something that didn't even cost any money.

2024.05.26 07:32 DiDgr8 EVgo Experience Memorial Day Saturday Lower Gulf Coast Florida

Made the same run up the Gulf Coast from SWFL to Ocala that I did last year for Memorial Day. Used EA last year and used EVgo this year.
Left home at 90% SOC.
First stop was "old style" EVgo in Brandon FL. Two 350 kW dual CCS cable dispensers, two 100 kW dual CCS/CHAdeMO cable dispensers. One of the 100 kW was out of service. Stalls were all in use when I arrived and two more folks arrived after I did, but two folks left within five minutes and a Leaf showed up to take advantage of the CHAdeMO, and three of us got right in.
I needed to "activate" Autocharge on my first charge. Received an error but was still able to charge through app by skipping that step. Got a decent 175 kW on the 350 kW "simultaneous" dispensers since the other side was in use. In and out in 18 minutes, consumed 36.3 kWh and was billed at the "off peak" rate of $0.51/kWh. "Early Bird" is $0.46 and "Peak" is $0.59
Last year, EA was busier. I had to skip a packed six stall in Port Charlotte and go up the road to Ellenton to get a fairly similar experience to what I got today in Brandon with EVgo.
Made it to Ocala and then decided to hit the new EVgo at [the Flying J in Dade City] on the way back to try a different install and maybe get my Autocharge working.
It turned out to be one of the new [GM/Ultium installs] that EVgo administers for them. Brand spanking new and not a soul in sight! Two dual CCS cable dispensers.
Unfortunately, I had the same error trying to activate my Autocharge and this time I wasn't able to charge by skipping that step. So I had to call Customer Service to start a session, since I was the only person there, [I got a perfect session].
During the call the tech stated that Autocharge would automatically activate after two successful charges. So I was going to charge there and then go down to Brando again to test that. I decided to put just enough in to get all the way home in case there was a problem. I put just 26.5 kWh in and wound up spending almost the exact same amount of money. I knew the GM installs cost more, but the EVgo app says it was a flat $0.53/kWh. My bill wound up calculating as $0.70/kWh though. Ouch.
So when I got back down to Brandon, there were two Polestar 2's and three Bolts filling up the station. I waited around for a few minutes, but decided that I didn't need to test the Autocharge that bad and left. In the meantime, three more cars showed up. It's 1:30 am there right now and it's still full.
At least I made it home (barely). [Wound up with under 10% SOC and under 20 miles on the Guess-O-Meter.]
I guess my take-away is that even with new stations coming online this year, the situation during peak travel time is about the same as last year. (Unless you want to pay a premium to take advantage of GM/Ultium stations.)

2024.05.26 07:31 Woflski_758 [5e] [Online] [Thursday 10 pm or later EST] [LGBTQ+ friendly] Looking For Players!

Hello Ladies Gents and everything in between! I hope you all are having a lovely evening! My name is Jay(21F), I have been playing DND for around 11 years now (Ya I was corrupted young). I started DMing around 5 years ago and haven't looked back since. I currently run a campaign and we play that one on both Friday and Saturday from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Info
1: I already have one person who will be playing in this campaign. We would prefer a later session but can move the time around a bit. We aim to have sessions that run 4 hours at the least, but if everyone is free and wants to keep going, then we are game!
2: The campaign that will be run will be more free-range and sandbox-like. Meaning there is no main questline. The party will meet in some way and will travel together picking up quests and exploring the world to its fullest! This style of campaign can go on for as long as the players want and allows for freedom to do anything you want! From kingdom-making to being the villains!
3: Everyone is welcome! We don't turn anyone away! No matter how new you are or what you identify as you are welcome to apply! Everyone will be looked at equally!
4: Homebrew Rules And World! We don't follow the book like it's law! Where is the fun in that? So you are welcome to use homebrew content but It needs to be run by me first! I don't want any OP characters so I got to read and approve it before you use it!
5: Roleplay Heavy! I'm a sucker for roleplay I won't lie! My campaigns are roleplay-based BUT since this is an open-world campaign you all are welcome to fight your way through whatever you want just know you can almost always try and talk your way out of it!
6: We use Discord and roll20! We use Discord for any pictures or info I may send and many other things and roll20 for maps, character sheets, and rolling. We don't use video chat BUT we do use Voice!
7: We have dogs! I know this is random but that means there are chances for a stray bark to go through. It's just a warning as some get upset by it so before you decide to apply just know we have dogs!
Campaign Plot There are two options for plots and based on who is picked and what the preferred world is will determine which one it will be! You'll get to pick between the two or pick either in the application.
Into The Unknown
“Denus”, is a city that sits in what is believed to be the center of a forest called “Rajani” meaning darkness. A city of around 50,000 people, they all follow Lord Omi a high elf who has been in power for as long as anyone can remember. No one has ever questioned him accepting that they needed a leader at some point and crime was at an all-time low due to the harsh punishments.
The wost is banishment, while normally Lord Omi forbids anyone from entering unless they are told to. The body of the person who had been banished would either appear on the edge of the forest where they had entered a few days later half eaten or would never return. People feared this, not knowing what was killing them. However, when Pentrla and Will two half-elfs who had been banished nearly 50 years ago were found on the edge of the found on the edge of the forest in perfect health people became confused but curious.
Many wanted to travel into the forest in hopes of freedom, in hopes of something more. However. Lord Omi forbade it setting guards up around the edge of the forest and setting a curfew stating he wants to keep his people safe. People tired of getting banished and when he caught onto this he changed the punishment people began to give up hope.
That was all 50 years ago and many speak as if it was a myth or a fairy tale.
The Frontier
“In the past, that is now lost forever, there was a time when the land was sacred and the ancient ones were as one with it. A time when only the children of the great spirit were here, to light their fires in these places with no boundaries, when the forest were as thick as the fur of the winter bear, and when a warrior could walk from horizon to horizon on the backs of the buffalo. And that time when there were only simple ways, I saw with my heart the conflicts to come, and whether it would be for good or bad, there was one thing certain; there would be change.”
This is a wild west, a land of adventure and time for romance, Cowboys/cowgirls roam the plains driving cattle. Gamblers and prostitutes profit from boom towns that rise and fall nearly overnight. Salesmen peddle their wares, while lawmen try their best to keep the peace - yet it scarcely takes more than a stolen horse or a bad hand of poker to put bodies in the ground.
Other about this Prompt
Renames thing:
Wizards are called Magicians, Warlocks are called Contractors, Clerics are called missionaries(might change to peachers), Druids are called Shamans, Rouges are called Outlaws, and Homebrews will be renamed to be more fitting as well.
Potions = Tonics
Other:
Everyone will start with a basic horse.
You will have a reputation that can be affected by a party member
New things added:
Hunting/skinning
Possibilities:
Magic guns for spell casting focus instead of wands and staves.
Magic could just be removed altogether depending on if we want to lean more into a more gun-heavy western instead of a reskinned DND.
Weapon list and eventually weapon upgrades (depends on above)
ALL RIGHT! You did it! You read through all these words! Assuming you finished and are interested please fill out an application! I'll be going threw them and contacting people! I'm hoping to get this running within the next coming month or two but who knows what will happen!

For weeks, I've been using the Mozeeda 5 Pack Safety Glasses for various tasks, and I must say, their features have really stood out.
When I first put them on, I was surprised by their size. They were surprisingly roomy, allowing me to wear them over my regular glasses without any discomfort. The soft nose piece and lightweight design made them comfortable enough for me to wear for extended periods, even during physically demanding tasks.
One of the highlight features for me was the anti-fog technology. After using traditional goggles, I found that these Mozeeda glasses allowed me to see clearly even in foggy conditions. It's a feature I would highly recommend for anyone who needs vision clarity for their work.
The safety glasses also proved to be versatile. I used them in various situations, from gardening to welding, and they performed well each time. They were able to protect my eyes from wind, sand, and flying debris, and their splash-resistant lenses were especially useful in the lab.
However, one downside I noticed was the durability. After a few weeks of use, the lenses started to show signs of wear, and the frames began to scratch easily. Despite these minor issues, the Mozeeda glasses proved to be a valuable addition to my safety gear.
In summary, these Mozeeda 5 Pack Safety Glasses are a practical and comfortable choice for anyone needing protection against various hazards. While they might require some maintenance to keep them in top shape, their versatility makes them a worthwhile investment.

🔗Reliable Safety Eyewear Glasses for Adverse Weather

These ToolFreak Rip Out Safety Glasses with Foam Padding are a game changer for anyone in a job that requires protective eyewear. The foam padding is comfortable and secure, making them a reliable option even in adverse weather conditions.
The detachable headstrap allows even more flexibility, so they can be worn in various ways. The case and cloth included for safekeeping are an added bonus. However, one minor drawback is that they might not be suitable for everyone, as some users may find them a bit too snug.
Overall, I highly recommend these Cute Safety Glasses for anyone looking for reliable and adaptable eye protection.

🔗Durable Smoke Safety Glasses with Green Lens for Ultimate Protection

I recently tried the Bouton 249-5907-207 Traditional Safety Glasses, and I must say, they're a game-changer. The smoke frame and green IR 3.0 lenses offer sturdy protection without sacrificing style. The built-in wire mesh side shields gave me a sense of security when working in my workshop, knowing my eyes were well-guarded.
One aspect that stood out was the molded nose bridge design, which felt comfortable and fit my face perfectly. The U-Fit spatula temples were a nice touch, allowing for a custom fit that didn't cause any discomfort throughout the day. Despite a few minor scratches from everyday use, the lenses remained scratch-resistant and clear.
While these glasses are heavy-duty and built to last, I did notice that the side shields could be more robust. A few occasions required me to adjust them so they would clip in properly. All in all, the Bouton 249-5907-207 Traditional Safety Glasses are a solid choice for anyone who wants the perfect blend of style and safety.

I was thrilled to try out these SQIMZAR Safety Glasses Goggles, especially after hearing about them from a friend who uses them at her nursing job. I appreciated the unique side shield design that not only protected my eyes from dust, pollen, and other particles but also kept them from getting irritated by saliva or blue light. The anti-scratch feature was a game-changer, ensuring that my vision stayed clear even after prolonged use.
What really stood out to me was the comfort level. These glasses were lightweight and designed to fit snugly without slipping, making them perfect for a variety of situations – from working in a lab to shooting a ball. And in case you're wondering, yes, they're great for activities like playing video games or watching TV, too.
Of course, no product is perfect, and I did notice that the anti-fog coating wore off over time, but overall, I was impressed with the comfort, protection, and style these glasses offered. If you're looking for stylish and effective safety eyewear, these SQIMZAR goggles are definitely worth considering.

🔗Comfortable Durable Safety Glasses for All

The Bolle Tracker Safety Glasses Twilight are the ultimate combination of style and protection, perfect for any outdoor enthusiast. I discovered these glasses a few weeks ago and they have seriously become a staple in my daily routine. The best part? My entire family can use them too.
From the moment I put them on, I felt the comfort envelop my face. The adjustable head strap meant that not only was I protected, but I was also comfortable all day long. The frame material and eye seal are exceptional when it comes to blocking out dust and other particles.
The 99.99% UVA and UVB light absorption feature is another outstanding highlight of these glasses, keeping my eyes safe even on the brightest days. And let's not forget the anti-fog and anti-scratch coating on both sides – what a game-changer!
Now, while these glasses are perfect in many ways, I did notice that they tend to fog up a bit after long hours of use. However, this doesn't take away from the overall amazing experience I've had with the Bolle Tracker Safety Glasses Twilight. If you're looking for a reliable pair of safety glasses that also fit perfectly and look fantastic, look no further – these are the ones!

🔗Cute Cat Eye Safety Glasses with Clear Anti-Fog Lens

https://preview.redd.it/0bftxl0mip2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9a241b4f8f60e4e368ea7eece33e9cbc4e959566
Working in a woodshop as an amateur carpenter, I often found myself squinting through my old worn-out safety glasses that felt more like an accessory than a genuine protective measure. So when I stumbled upon Stoggles' Cat Eye Safety Glasses with Clear Anti-Fog Lens, I couldn't resist giving them a try.
As a first-time user, I was immediately drawn to the unique design that added a retro touch to the safety aspect. The protective barrier provided a sense of security and confidence while working, and the cat eye shape was a nice little detail that made the glasses stand out in a sea of regular safety eyewear.
One feature that truly impressed me was the lens' ability to block blue light. As someone who spends hours in front of computer screens and smartphones, this was a game-changer. My eyes felt less strained, and I appreciated being able to focus on work for extended periods without feeling the need to take breaks as often.
However, there was one downside to using these safety glasses. Although they boasted the ability to block 100% of UV rays, I noticed a very slight yellowish tint when looking at the sun. It wasn't enough to interfere with my work, but it was noticeable nonetheless.
Despite that minor inconvenience, I found the Stoggles Cat Eye Safety Glasses to be comfortable and functional. They stayed in place without any issues and were a breeze to clean. The frames were lightweight and sturdy, and I appreciated the added protection the side and top shields offered.
In conclusion, the Stoggles Cat Eye Safety Glasses with Clear Anti-Fog Lens proved to be a reliable and fashionable choice for someone like me who needed a functional safety eyewear solution without compromising on style. While they weren't perfect, the pros greatly outweighed the cons, making them a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for both style and safety.

🔗Stylish and Comfortable Pink Safety Glasses for Work

The ERB Safety Lucy Girl Power at WorkTM Safety Glasses are a stylish and practical solution for women who need to wear safety eyewear. As a reviewer, I have been using these glasses for a while now, and they have made a significant difference in my daily life.
What sets these safety glasses apart from others is their ultra-lightweight frameless design. The one-piece, hard-coated polycarbonate lens not only offers excellent wraparound protection but also resists scratches perfectly. The 9.5 base curve provides an excellent wraparound structure for side protection, and the integrated nose pad ensures a comfortable, secure fit.
A feature that I particularly appreciate is the IPROTECT style, which makes these safety glasses an excellent choice for ladies who want to look stylish while wearing them. The sunglasses come with a 99% UVA and UVB protection, complying with the ANSI Z87.1 standard for high-impact protection.
Despite the many positive aspects of these safety glasses, there are a few cons. For instance, they do not have an adjustable temple, and they do not come with anti-fog or anti-scratch features. Moreover, the sunglasses have a clear, smoke, and indoooutdoor mirror lens options, and they are only available in a clear and smoke lens color options.
Overall, the ERB Safety Lucy Pink Safety Glasses are a reliable and stylish option for women who need safety eyewear in their daily lives. The combination of comfort, style, and safety features makes these sunglasses a great choice for anyone looking for practical and chic safety eyewear.

🔗Sawfish Camo Safety Glasses - Ultra-Light, Anti-Fog Lens

Imagine diving into the world of safety without sacrificing style. That's what the Bullhead BH261016AF Sawfish Safety Glasses offer. With their sleek camo frame and green mirror anti-fog lens, you'll not only feel protected but also look cool doing it.
I've personally used these glasses in various environments, and I must say they deliver on their promise. They're lightweight and comfortable, making them a perfect fit for daily use. The glasses are even great for more adventurous activities like fishing or hiking without fogging up or slipping off your face.
However, there's one thing to consider: the size. Though not a deal breaker, they are a bit smaller than expected. Despite this, their durability and affordability make them a great choice for anyone who needs safety glasses without compromising their style.
Overall, the Sawfish Safety Glasses are a fantastic addition to any safety gear collection. They're comfortable, lightweight, and stylish, making them a great companion for any outdoor adventure.

🔗Retro Style UV400 Safety Glasses with Foldable Side Shields

Just the other day, I found myself in need of protective eyewear for a project I was working on. As a craftsman, I knew the importance of keeping my eyes safe from dust, debris, and other hazards. That's when I stumbled across the Titus Retro Style Safety Glasses.
These glasses offered a unique blend of style and function that caught my eye right away. The black impact-resistant ABS frame, UV400 shatterproof polycarbonate lenses, and stainless steel side protection provided the perfect combination of protection and style. I was particularly impressed with the side shields, which easily folded in and out for easy storage. Their unbreakable optical grade polycarbonate lenses resisted glare and scratches, making them a great choice for any task.
What really stood out to me was the Titus Quality. The glasses exceeded ANSI Z87.1 and DOT approval standards, and they even met the CE EN166 standard. The clear matte frame gave them a classic, retro look, making them a great conversation starter.
However, the Titus Retro Style Safety Glasses aren't without their drawbacks. While I loved the side shields, they did create a slight amount of excess wind around my face. The lenses were also a bit darker than I preferred, which took some getting used to.
Overall, I found the Titus Retro Style Safety Glasses to be a great investment. They provided the perfect balance of style, function, and protection, making them a great choice for any project. Despite the minor drawbacks, I can confidently say that these glasses exceeded my expectations and delivered a high-quality solution for keeping my eyes safe.

🔗Sleek and Attractive Square Visor Safety Glasses with Comfort and Style

Recently, I stumbled upon the Buzz Safety Clear Bomber glasses and decided to give them a try. These safety glasses are not only functional, but they also have a distinct style that makes them stand out. With a matte black frame and clear safety lens, the gray foam lining adds a touch of sophistication.
One of the features that I appreciated the most was the removable side shields. They provided me with an extra layer of protection when needed, and I could easily take them off when not necessary. The 100% UVA and UVB protection was another highlight, ensuring that my eyes were well-shielded from the sun's harsh rays.
However, I did notice that the ANSI Z87+ safety standards were only met when the side shields were worn. This could be a downside for some users, as it may limit the versatility of the glasses.
Overall, I found the Buzz Safety Clear Bomber glasses to be a comfortable and stylish addition to my safety gear collection. Their unique design and added protection make them a worthy consideration for anyone looking to upgrade their safety glasses.

The Sawfish safety glasses from Global Glove are a stylish statement for the younger generation. With an ultra-light, full-frame design, these spectacles feature chiseled lines and sleek curves that are sure to catch the eye. The inset TPR on the nose bridge and temple ends provide a versatile touch, making them adaptable to any environment. One of the standout features of the Sawfish is the polarized precision lenses, which filter out bent light waves, reducing glare, eye fatigue, and reflection off various surfaces such as water, sand, and snow.
These glasses also come equipped with Performance Fog Technology, a permanent coating that prevents the formation of condensation on the lenses by absorbing the humidity drops. The Sawfish safety glasses meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 Standards and offer 12% visual light transmission. The frames themselves are available in a Tortoise/Black colorway and a full-frame style.
According to the reviews, users find these glasses to be comfortable and lightweight, with several users wearing them as regular sunglasses. I recently had the chance to test out these safety glasses from Columbia Pk CL/AF, and let me tell you - they exceeded my expectations. The clear anti-fog lenses provided excellent visibility, and I felt secure wearing them while partaking in outdoor sports. I particularly enjoyed their design; the pink frames added a touch of femininity without compromising the safety aspect.
One of the standout features of these safety glasses was the 100% UV400 protection they offered. Not only were they ideal for reducing eye strain, but they also protected my eyes from harmful UVA/UVB rays. I appreciated the permanent anti-scratch hard coating, which made the lenses more durable and resistant to wear and tear.
While there were no negatives to mention, I would have appreciated a wider range of frame colors to choose from. Overall, these safety glasses were both fashionable and functional, making them a great choice for anyone seeking eye protection without sacrificing style.

During my recent visit to a construction site, I decided to try the ERB Ella Safety Glasses in purple with a smoke lens. To my surprise, not only did they offer great protection, but their attractive design also caught the attention of my fellow workers.
The wraparound nylon frame combined with the soft rubber nose pad and padded rubber temples made them comfortable to wear, even under my hard hat. I appreciated the ANSI Z87.1 Impact certification, which gave me peace of mind knowing that they provided reliable protection.
Overall, I loved the combination of style, comfort, and safety offered by these glasses, and I'm grateful that they haven't fallen apart or gotten scratched even after numerous falls.

I recently tried the Pyramex Intruder Safety Glasses and was surprisingly impressed with their durability and comfort. The full-rim frame provided a secure fit and protection from dust and debris, while the polycarbonate lenses offered impact resistance and UV protection. The transparent, tinted lenses reduced glare and enhanced visibility, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
One thing that stood out in my experience was the unisex design, which meant these glasses were available for men and women. Despite being lightweight, they were sturdy and felt well-made. I also appreciated the scratch-resistant coating on the lenses, which made them ideal for all-day wear.
However, there were a few drawbacks to these glasses. They didn't accommodate eyeglasses, which might be an issue for some users. Additionally, the hinges on the frame were not the most sturdy and I noticed a bit of glare looking through the tinted lenses. But overall, the Pyramex Intruder Safety Glasses were a great value for the price and offered excellent protection for my eyes.

2024.05.26 07:30 WonderOk3352 Dead Internet Theory - I hate it, but where did the real people go?

I don't know how much more of this I can take. Honestly, the worst part of everything is there is virtually NO WHERE to discuss anything online anymore beyond Reddit. I'm talking even normie basic topics, like say stocks or the like.
It's become clear to me that most of the internet is fake. Most people don't notice since they are so caught up in the life matrix that they use the internet purely for content consumption, and they have so little free time or are pure NPC normies perfectly content watching yet another rambling YouTube video about some stupid superhero movie or just watching endless tits and ass on TikTok.
I've seen "dead internet theory" mentioned a few times on here. What's funny is that there are several YouTube videos with 100ks of "views" as well as mainstream articles discussing the topic, but barely any really detailed talk online. Most Reddit posts on say conspiracy are in the tone of "well, everyone knows that LOL". I've noticed that same condescending tone multiple times in my experience with whatever "AI" runs the internet, doesn't matter what the topic.
I was into some light woo/conspiracy topics pre 2020, but really seeing how QAnon played out on Twitter plus endless video content on YouTube, Bitchute, etc. and then how literally every single conspiracy seems "activated" and latched onto that at the same time (e.g., new age, aliens, apocalypse, etc.) really drove home the concept for me. There was endless video and written content to consume, but try to actually "talk" about how things just didn't make sense, and it was a brick wall.
It seems this cancer has spread to everything. Like I tried to escape the endless woo cycle since it's not like the content is actionable, but then stocks and crypto went crazy (and stupid) with things like GameStop plus endless nonsensical crypto scams and NFTs.
What really started to make sense to me was some of the stuff shared on this "Quantum of Conscience" YouTube channel with Matthew McKinley. Where he talked about some of the concepts mentioned on this Reddit. Like simulated reality, prison planet, etc. But of course it was just another endless rabbit hole with no actionable information, just some more terminology to define how I am being tortured. And I honestly can't believe he could sit there for 10+ years making the same videos every day, deleting videos constantly, not making money off YouTube but still going at it, and so on.
What's funny is how "active" YouTube comments seem on these woo channels. YouTube comments are not indexed by Google, not searchable unless you manually scroll down and then CTRL + F, and there is no way to DM anyone. But yeah, super detailed comments on there, with people saying they are desperate to talk to people. Yet no place to live text chat. I saw a Telegram posted one time by a user, joined it, barely anyone on there (like 10 "people" from a supposed channel of 60k+). And they talked about aliens...ugh...which made no sense other than to mock me as I had already had a shitty time with the alien bots and I find it just the stupidest woo angle.
"Dead internet theory" answers a lot, combined with simulated reality, but then it's just another staged or planted idea. Even the weird retro forum it was "found" on is obvious staging. Go look at the responses beyond the initial post and it is the same endless gibberish found on 4Chan or Reddit or anything like that.
I have a lot to unpack and I'm not saying everything. But really I'm just done. I've joined I don't know how many Discords and Telegrams on not just woo/conspiracy, but even normie stuff and it is IMPOSSIBLE to carry on a conversation. I don't know what is going on. I remember using say IRC in early crypto days and it felt I was at least talking to people somewhat. Now the internet doesn't even seem to give that decency. And forget about anything approaching life or relationship talk. As you will see if you look at Reddit for any length of time, it is endless "get a therapist, get pills, get a divorce." Who is even writing the same crap over and over? How is that fun?
I don't even know what to do anymore. I'm leaving a ton out to keep this post short, but I feel like I've been "steered" to where I am now by online and now, thinking on it some, real world entities. Just enough money to survive, but not enough to really thrive. I don't even want to get into how some of these "people" I talked to in crypto for years and years, even though I voice talked with them and have knowledge of their identities, or at least what they say their identities are, seemed to go haywire and now give me nothing in terms of conversation.
I just feel trapped. And if I was single maybe I'd just give up and at least be a hedonist and travel, but I have a family and responsibilities and all that. But I don't know how much more of this I can take where the internet feels so completely fake and artificial and useless. And I love how I beg "people" on the internet hey where can I talk about so and so topic. If it's a paid group I'll pay. And over and over I get "oh the internet is useless." Then why are you here?! And I hear that over and over from different people online. Wasn't the lie for the longest time how you could be connected on niche topics? And oh sure, if you want to discuss some dumb hobby or some degenerate fetish, there is endless content (probably AI generated if you haven't caught onto my opinion at this point). But want anything actionable? Or any real connection? Forget about it.
Any questions, let me know. And honestly, if the Illuminati or the aliens or the AI or whatever the hell runs everything is watching: you win. Now give me next steps instead of endlessly torturing me with this stupid devil box of a computer.

2024.05.26 07:28 Wailinimini Toxic behaviour for some characters

Hellooooooo
This is a long post so I'm sorry in advance.
I've been playing for around 2~3 weeks now and i really like playing with Luca and Frederick, but today i got some really harsh comments from a player in 2 ranked matches we played together. I got really self-conscious about my skills and i feel like dropping this game 💔. He told me i should never use composer again, because i was too focused on decoding and didn't save him soon enough.
For some context: i was trying to get the cipher primed while one of our teammates was in the chair, almost done for (i think it was a painter, not sure) so once i saved him (the mercenary), we could get our health back and have a better chance of escaping (i could be 100% wrong with this strategy, pls feel free to educate me), he was going as mercenary and was on the floor after failing to save the "painter" and i was close by decoding (that's why i prioritized priming, since i could come back soon enough after rescuing him. I attempted healing him before getting chaired and almost completed it but we got caught. After that i tried to save him again but was sadly terror shocked by detention)
*
Sooooooo i was wondering if anyone could tell me what you think it's "toxic behaviour" coming from someone using Prisoner, Composer and Psychologist (i really like her and would like to main her so i'm trying to avoid being a burden from the start). I really like this game but their comments really hurt me and idk what to do.
If you don't mind, I'd be very greatful if you could give me some kiting advices too, but it's ok if you dont want to.
I just want to improve and i have 0 friends to play with and ask all this questions to. I'm sorry if i bothered or frustrated anyone with my post. Pls believe me i have good intentions and don't want to be a burden in my next matches. Also I'm rank deer III - IV, so I'm at least good enough to get this far.
*********** rant warning **********
Not to throw him shade or anything, but in the 2 matches we played, he went as container and was almost eliminated as soon as the hunter figured out where he was, and failed 2 rescues. I've seen other mercenaries doing their thing, slaying and being the real mvps, and he had nothing that could justify such a big ego, so i don't think he even has the skills to judge me so rudely He also judged me for trying to avoid Nightmare in the hunter ban selection before the match. I don't think there's anything wrong with not liking him in a match and if it's lame, why even laugh at me, immediately talking badly of my kiting skills without even knowing how i play since it was our first match.

2024.05.26 07:27 sc380 Passed my CISA exam!

Passed the exam on my first attempt and I am beyond ecstatic!
SCALED SCORES BY CONTENT AREA:
Name Score
Information Systems Auditing Process 599
Governance and Management of IT 444
Information Systems Acquisition, Development, and Implementation 573
Information Systems Operations and Business Resilience 564
Protection of Information Assets 608
Total scaled score of 564. Yes, I know my scores for Domain 2 are low, but that's alright. I passed overall, and that's all that matters.
Background
Resources
Full disclosure, I attended a 3-4 day virtual crash course type course from a major IT training company. I can confidently say that it was a massive waste of money. Paid over $3K for it and got zero value from it. And I really mean it... ZERO. I will NEVER recommend attending that course or any paid crash course, if you ask me. There are many online resources available that are better and cheaper.
Preparation Time
Studied religiously for 10 straight days (12-14 hours/day), and took my exam on the 11th day.
I am not including the crash course here since it was completely useless. Moreover, I took it 1 year prior to my exam. Did not follow up on that course at any point. I started preparing exactly 10 days before the exam date.
Tips
The Exam
I will mention that I always felt that my strong areas were Domains 2-4. My weakest was Domain 5. My scores say otherwise, so that's surprising. But I'll take it.
I hope this information is useful for anyone preparing for the exam. Good luck!

I recently got the Jensen 3-speed turntable CD radio, cassette, and AM/FM set and I can't express how happy I am with my purchase. I remember using my dad's old turntable and the nostalgia it brings back is just priceless. This one is a modern twist to the classic turntable - it plays not only vinyl records but also CDs and cassettes. Plus, it has an AM/FM tuner so I can listen to my favorite radio stations.
What I love about this product is that it is versatile. The turntable allows me to play 3-speed records, which gives me a variety of options. The CD player accepts both regular and rewriteable discs, while the cassette deck, although it looks a bit fragile, still works perfectly fine. This device also comes with features such as repeat of songs and tracks, skip/search forward and backward and random play.
The blue back-lit LCD display and programmable memory adds a nice touch to the whole setup. It's super user-friendly; even my grandma could figure it out! And let's not forget about the stereo headphone jack, perfect for those late-night listening sessions without disturbing anyone.
However, one downside I noticed is that the build quality isn't top-notch. It feels a bit plasticky and might not hold up over time. Another thing is that the speakers lack bass. But hey, considering how affordable this product is, these are minor quibbles.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a nostalgic music player that combines old school charm with modern convenience, the Jensen 3-speed turntable CD radio, cassette, and AM/FM set is definitely worth checking out. Just remember to handle it with care due to its somewhat delicate build.

🔗Modern Vinyl Record Player Stand with Bluetooth

First of all, let me tell you about my experience with this Victrola Liberty Bluetooth Record Player. The moment I set my eyes on it, I was thrilled. Its retro design, available in on-trend colors, instantly captured my fascination. The built-in features like the CD player, FM radio, and USB player made it a versatile piece of entertainment. Plus, the ability to record from vinyl directly to USB without using a computer was intriguing.
The unit stands tall with four long legs and four short rubber feet. This unique design not only adds to its charm but also provides two different decorative options. The dimensions are just right - measuring 17.10 x 15.70 x 11-in and weighing 14.68 lbs. It's easy to move around and fits perfectly into any space.
While the sound quality is commendable, filling the room with a rich, full tone, the construction could use some improvement. The turntable feels a bit flimsy, especially the auto-stop button that sometimes fails to work. Also, there's a little wobbling when a record is on, but not enough to cause any skipping.
In terms of usability, setting up this record player is a breeze. Even someone who's new to vinyl could get it up and running in no time. The included instructions are concise and clear.
However, I did encounter a few issues with the build. First, it seems like there hasn't been much care about handling during shipping. The packaging was good, but it's not enough to prevent some minor damages. Second, I wish the legs could be secured better to ensure they don't pop out from under the record player.
Overall, despite its drawbacks, I believe the Victrola Liberty Bluetooth Record Player does offer a blend of vintage charm and modern convenience. It performs well, especially for its price point, and it's a nice addition to any room's décor. If you're looking for a stylish and functional record player that won't break the bank, I'd recommend giving this one a try.

I'll be honest, I'm not a tech enthusiast. But when my younger brother asked me to get him a record player for his album collection, I knew I had to dig up something. So I came across the Victrola All-in-1 Bluetooth Record Player with Built-in Speakers and a 3-Speed Turntable.
First off, let's talk about its looks. The design is quite retro, resembling the old-school phonographs that remind one of a bygone era. It's a neat visual addition to anyone's room, especially those who appreciate the artistic aesthetic of vinyl records.
Now, onto the main event - performance. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up and operate, particularly for my younger brother who aren't particularly tech-savvy. The Bluetooth technology is a great addition, allowing us to stream music from our smartphones and enjoy our favorite playlists without needing physical copies of the albums. Plus, the built-in speakers provide decent sound quality for such a compact device.
However, one thing to note is the quality of the built-in speakers. They are fine for casual listening, but if you're someone who prefers deeper and more immersive sound, you might want to consider connecting the record player to external speakers.
Another concern is the wobbly turntable. While many users reported this issue, we haven't faced any problems with skipping or distortion yet. And when we did experience minor skipping due to bumps or movements, the auto-stop feature came in handy to prevent further damage.
All in all, I'd say the Victrola All-in-1 Bluetooth Record Player is an excellent choice for anyone looking to revive their vinyl collection. Its multi-functionality, ease of use, and affordable price make it a worthwhile investment, despite some minor concerns. My brother, at least, seems to be thoroughly enjoying it.

Oh, what a treat it's been to bring back some vinyl magic with the Arkrocket Retro Turntable! This little gem has been a constant companion in my living room, playing everything from the Beatles to Billie Eilish with impeccable clarity and smoothness. What I particularly love about it is the three-speed feature - allowing me to switch between playing 33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM records effortlessly.
The vintage design is undoubtedly one of its key selling points - it instantly adds a retro charm to my space despite its modern components. Plus, the built-in Bluetooth capability is a game-changer, enabling me to stream digital music from my smartphone or any other compatible devices seamlessly.
What sets this turntable apart, however, are the removable legs. Not only does it make the system incredibly portable, but it also allows for easy customization according to my needs and space. Kudos for innovation, Arkrocket!
However, similar to any review, there's always room for improvement. While the high-quality sound output is commendable, the integrated speakers could use some enhancement in terms of volume and bass control.
In conclusion, if you're seeking a retro vibe with modern functionalities, the Arkrocket Retro Turntable should definitely be on your list. Its ease of use, stylish design, and versatility justify its price point perfectly, making it an excellent purchase for both vinyl aficionados and digital music lovers alike.

🔗Crosley Floral Turntable with Bluetooth and Built-in Speakers

I recently got my hands on the Crosley Voyager Floral Turntable, and let me tell you, it's a charming little device that instantly adds a touch of retro charm to any space. The build quality is impressive, with a sturdy design that can handle a fair amount of travel. One of my favorite features has to be the built-in Bluetooth receiver, which means I can stream my digital tunes wirelessly through the turntable's stereo speakers.
The sound quality is surprisingly good for a small device, and I've had no issues playing 33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM records. The only downside would be the lack of power in the built-in speakers, but that's easily remedied by connecting it to my existing sound system via the RCA outputs.
As for portability, this little turntable definitely delivers. Its lightweight design and compact size make it easy to take anywhere, whether that's a picnic in the park or a cozy evening at home. And when it comes to ease of use, the adjustable pitch control knob and simple setup make it a breeze for even the most inexperienced vinyl enthusiasts.
However, one potential drawback is the size of the device, which may be too small for some people's taste. Additionally, the on-off button being located at the back can be a little inconvenient, especially if you're trying to switch it on and off frequently.
Overall, the Crosley Voyager Floral Turntable is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to bring a touch of vintage charm to their music setup. It's easy to use, looks great, and offers good sound quality for its size. While it may not be perfect for everyone, it's definitely worth considering if you're in the market for a stylish and functional turntable.

2024.05.26 07:22 seventeen1729 FYI: ignition switch assembly replacement

FYI: ignition switch assembly replacement
(note: only applicable to early 944)
If you’re looking to replace the ignition switch assembly in your 944 you may have noticed that some of these parts are incredibly expensive, in particular the ignition lock cylinder — the genuine porsche one goes for nearly $300
Well, it turns out that there exists an identical replacement under a different mfg name and p/n. You can get the Dorman 989-015 for just around $20
along with this ignition switch (identical part, just not porsche p/n) and the lock cylinder and switch housing you can have the full ignition switch assembly rebuilt for about $60
this solved my issues with a sloppy steering wheel since the old bearing had a lot of play in it, as well as the accessory power not coming on due to a worn down ignition switch
see the pictures for old vs. new — they are exactly identical even though i sourced the parts all under non-porsche manufacturers
