2024.05.19 00:19 Sea_Combination571 I’m not a blind follower
A week before howling kitty posted I bought shares for AMC because I saw an American company coming out of Covid and writers strikes beating them to an all time low. But with the current movie release schedule, with current box office earnings I believe the 2 billion in debt will be greatly reduced by the year’s end. Certainly howling kitty did not have sole responsibility in the 400% increase Monday. And by Thursday despite significant decrease, has had attracted new players with deeper pockets. I do not see the future or have a crystal ball but I hope this weekend’s buy orders surpass the volume seen by the previous Monday. Last “Meme rally” lasted weeks and with the current global market seemingly at a tipping point has had contributed to the volatility we’re seeing. This isn’t just about AMC, this is about streaming services not becoming the sole source of entertainment revenue. Billions are invested on what they think the next monopoly is so media opinions are out in my book. I’m betting with cash I can lose with no option contracts. Be careful and set limits to your own greed. Have an exit strategy and don’t blame 🐱 for not personally texting you when to sell. We are all in this together and alone at the same time. With holding at $3 a share I could hold for years with dilution because I’ve seen this company hit double digits before. If I see my shares soar beyond 500% I’m going to take the money. The profits aren’t real until you sell. I hope we do well my fellow regards. This is Dumb money part 2 “the apes are back in town” ☘️ 🦍 💎

2024.05.19 00:17 DeathMetalDinosaur 2006 Championship DVD
I woke up this morning to my kids watching the championship DVD from the ‘06 season. It includes the complete broadcast of game 7. As much as it hurt to think about how this year was our best chance in quite a while to pull it off again, I thought it was cool to see them taking an interest in the team’s past. The best part was after the final whistle and they were passing the cup around, my 3-year-old said “Dada look!” He held up a miniature Stanley Cup from a hockey set they have over his head and started saying “Yay! Yay!”

2024.05.19 00:17 Front_Comfortable_53 How do I overcome body shaming as a man (31M) from women (30F) on dates?
Tl:dr: As a man, I have gotten shamed for my sexual performance or my organ when what I am being shamed for is not in their control. Both men and women deserve to be treated kindly and respectfully during sex, whether it's during the first few dates or during an ONS.
As a man, I have had first-hand experiences with women on dates objectifying me and shaming me for any of the following:
- Erection issues
- Coming too fast
Thankfully, I haven't shamed for a small one yet, possibly because I have an average-sized one. But I can imagine the shaming would extend if I had it smaller.
I have had women say “really??” and then wear their pants and walk out in rage or disdain as if I intentionally did something to hurt or offend them. Women may think it’s selfish of me when I am not getting it up or coming too fast. But I wish they understood that we don’t control our organ at will. It's not a switch that I can press.
Why would I want to come too fast or not get it up? Of course, men are trying to please the woman and to please themselves but failing.
Before you say, “learn to please them differently”, let me tell you I would love to. But in my experiences, women don’t even give me a chance for that. They’re just too disappointed with my ED or PE, and make a face and leave, without any conversation. It feels very hurtful, and degrading and I feel like an object.
Before you say, "you may have lifestyle issues", I actually am averagely lean at 17% body fat, work out 2-3 days a week, and get 8k steps and 7 hours of sleep. I only drink socially 1x a week and don't smoke weed or cigarettes.
Before you say, "get to know the person and get some experience", I don't understand how am I supposed to get experience if women walk out of the door because of a poor first time sexual experience?
I am sure a woman would consider it rude af if I got up and left in a rush right after sex or said demeaning things to her. Even if it’s a ONS, men and women deserve to be treated respectfully, gracefully and with empathy.
How do I get over shaming of my body, sexual experience, and abilities?

2024.05.19 00:16 ThatLeafsFan1 Persistent Low FPS and GPU Utilization Drops on Ryzen 9 7900X3D Across Multiple Games
I genuinely think I am going insane. In August 2023, I upgraded my PC from the AM4 platform to the AM5 platform. To provide a comprehensive overview, I will share the PcPartPicker lists for both PCs, along with the detailed specs here.
New: Ryzen 9 7900X3D (PBO enabled) EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 Asus X670E Crosshair Extreme G.Skill 32GB (2 x 16) 7600mhz CAS36 Trident Z5 2TB Crucial T700 1TB Corsair MP600 Corsair AIO H170i 420mm Corsair 7000D case Corsair HX1500i PSU (ATX 3.0/PCie 5.0) (1500 W)
Old: Ryzen 7 5800X (Overclocked to 4.8 GHz, stable) EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WI-FI G.Skill 32GB (2 x 16) 4000mhz CAS18 Trident Z 1TB Corsair MP600 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD MSI AIO MPG CORELIQUID V2 360mm Corsair 7000D case Corsair RM 850x PSU (850 W)
Ever since I upgraded to the AM5 platform, in many games, within the first 1 - 10 minutes of launching (regardless of whether I stay in the lobby or queue into a match), my frames drop below 5 FPS and stay like that from anywhere between 20 seconds to 3 minutes. GPU utilization drops from 20% to 99% (depending on the game) to 1% to 5%. DPC latency for Nvidia and other drivers spikes like crazy. I've attached the LatencyMon reports.
Once it returns to normal, it STAYS normal until I restart my PC. The thing is, there are only some games like this. For example, it always happens in Valorant (not resource intensive) and Apex Legends (resource intensive). I play these two at low settings. However, it never happens in Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport (2023), and I play both at max settings in 1440p!
I've RMA'd the motherboard and CPU and even tried swapping the graphics card with a 4060, yet the issue still persisted. This never happens when I run Cinebench or casually use my PC. My BIOS, OS (Windows 11 23H2), and every single damn driver on my PC is up-to-date. I check every day for updates on everything. I may be the most up-to-date man in my city. I have also ruled out thermal throttling, as my CPU is stays below 75c when these drops happen, and before.
I've clean-installed Windows 11 countless times with no luck. I've played with no additional software on my PC, just drivers, and it still happens. I contacted NVIDIA support, but customer service couldn't fix it. I got forwarded to "level 2 tech support", and they said, "We will look into it on our side." I followed up consistently for weeks and never got a response back. I even made a new ticket, which got closed with no response. I even emailed their HQ (I think), and never got a response from them either.
I'm considering giving up and getting ready to splurge on a Ryzen 9 9900X when it's released. I believe it has something to do with the 3D-Vcache, and I prefer having a fixed overclock and finding its stable limits. At this point, I am insanely desperate for any fix. Please feel free to ask any questions that would help troubleshoot. Keep in mind that the screenshots were taken a few months ago when I submitted the support ticket to NVIDIA.

Well, as world leader, I was able to share some of my knowledge with someone I believe God sent me, to help send my thanks, at valuing honesty, and at doing their part to hide and protect me, even though it’s really not necessary, because the beginning of time will show us that sharing knowledge without guilt or shame, is the path forward. I choose to say I’m following Gods path, and I choose to believe that he is so much more then our brains are capable of EVER fully understanding. We are bound within the confines of our skin, in our memory capacity. However there is still a lot of memory left. But one drawer is starting to overflow, and has created a LOT OF UNNECESSARY PAPERS FLOATING around. YOUR KILLING THE TREES, for real. Paper is going to be a huge commodity because of our technology era, and lack of space. Going forward, as a contractor of developing a society, there needs to be a rough draft paper guide, that WILL NEVER BE REPLACED, just crossed out, and added to, in regards to what documents the current leader of their nation, feels is important enough to backup with a paper copy. And whoever is at the top of the class system, needs to be the one in control of the paper companies in each nation, just that one business, and their salary needs to be equal to the President’s salary, and needs to be the company that pays the highest amount of tax revenue, NO BONUSES, or maybe there can be parties or gifts from any left over revenue. This will help guide things. The only time the CEO is replaced is if they don’t have the revenue to pay the highest taxes, and provide for the employees that are necessary to provide the adequate amount of paper to the nation’s govt to “back up” history, everything else will be available online to citizens everywhere, if it is CHANGED, well the fbi will come in the middle of the night and use tactics they’d never dream were a possibility. Every employee in the govt and the paper factory will have access to the hard copies if requested, but not be left alone, cameras are welcome though.
As the chosen one, can I be done now?!? Please???

2024.05.19 00:14 Specialist_Paper7226 AITA for cutting contact with my Mom?
I (31F) was sexually abused as a child by my mom’s second husband (my step father). I disclosed the abuse to her the SAME DAY it happened when I was 9, and she chose to acknowledge it and she believed me, but didn’t do anything about it. She openly said to me, that she wasn’t going to act on it and what on earth did I expect her to do. She outlined and guilt tripped me as a child by stating that if we went to the police, we would lose our house, have to move from friends etc. She stayed with him, I stayed in the same house, she brushed it under the rug and pretended like nothing happened. Long story short I had to live another hellish few years of my childhood and teens with this guy still trying to abuse me constantly, with several other incidences happening and with me not telling my mom about the other incidences, as I had no trust in her to do anything. Around the same time she cut me off from my bio father who lived out of state, but who I would see regularly, but from the time I told her of the first incident, I stopped seeing him. As an adult I now see she was trying to avoid him finding out about the SA.
Fast forward in to my adult hood, I left home fast at 17 and waded through addiction, substance abuse and major anxiety… not a wonder though with my past. I get through all this in to adult hood and have 3 beautiful children with my partner. My mom still lives with this guy, I still associated with my mom and visit on holidays and NEVER let my kids near this creep. Most of my time spent with my Mom is her coming to me without the creep.
Fast forward again, and someone approaches me to tell me they have been SAd by this same guy as a child… which brings out that he had also abused ANOTHER child. These two didn’t know I was also abused before disclosing to me, but I then tell them. This starts the process of cop involvement and eventually he was charged, went through trial (where he plead NOT GUILTY all throughout) and in the end he was found guilty and sentenced. The dude is an offical pedo. The cops also questioned why she didn’t protect me as a child, but nothing came of it.
When it came out that pedo had also abused two other children, I went to my Mom and said I think it’s time to stop playing the games, this guy is dangerous, your grandchildren need to be completely away from him and you need to get away from him.
She chose not to. She states that all her finances are tied in with him, she’s nearly retirement age and by going through the court process like I did, I have ruined her life.
I totally understood that this was life changing for her. I also know that she’s sleeping in the bed she’s made by not dealing with my abuse as a child, but I was willing to forgive and help her forge a new life and move on together as a family. Again, never underestimating how her life would be turned upside down. There were multiple offers of support to help her, financially and emotionally.
She has now made my life hell, by turning a lot of close family against me, not telling them the full truth of what actually happened, blatantly lying and saying that he was charged and sentenced because me and the other victims set him up. I have been on the end of some vile comments and messages accusing me of ruining her life.
My partner and I decided enough was enough and cut contact with her.
AITA here? She certainly has told the whole world I am and I’m trying to do what’s best for my family, but I feel like I’m under a spell of manipulation and that she is actually kinda crazy.
Help?

2024.05.19 00:14 chainsawtrashpanda Running power to a shop
Getting to the point in the shop build where I’m looking at running power. I was hoping someone could tell me for certain the correct wire and panel to use. Straight line measurement from 200 amp panel in the house to corner of shed is 100’. I figured I’m looking at 120’ by the time I do the twists and turns and burial. It’s going to be a wood shop with two outlet circuits one light circuit and a 240 circuit for a heater or a welder (at some point). Was planing on putting a regular 12 space 100amp panel In the shed.
I did the colt drop calculator and came up with #6 copper so 6-3 or 2-2-2 aluminum. Is that correct?
Can 2-2-2 be buried in conduit?
I also have salvaged some 2-2-2 aluminum from another house it is not long enough. Can I buy what I need and splice it or should I buy the full length of what I need?
Do I use a two pole 100 amp breaker on the panel in the house?
Thanks in advance

2024.05.19 00:14 frogettes I’m so broken and worried therapy is going to be harmful to me
I lost my cat Boots 8 months ago, and just a few weeks ago lost my other cat Mittens. Losing her has completely broken me. I am so in denial and nothing feels real right now. Boots had a serious illness for years leading up to his death so I had a long time to grieve and process that before he even passed. It still took a major toll on me which I am still healing from but then suddenly Mittens gets sick and now she’s gone too. It happened so fast with her, we don’t even know what the cause was. Now both my babies are gone and I’m so alone. The house is so empty and lifeless and quiet, I really can’t stand being here. I didn’t just lose my beloved cat this time. I lost all the companionship I had, my only remaining friend, and a part of my identity. I don’t have any pets left. She was there for me to help me through losing Boots but now I have no one to help me through losing her. I’m so lost
I have therapy this week and I’m really dreading it. I have to break the news to her and I don’t feel ready. I can’t accept it yet I’m not ready to begin processing this because it’s too big. I feel like if anyone says the wrong thing to me about the situation or tries downplaying it or tries to make me see the positives of it right now I’ll completely fall apart. But also this new reality has me thinking dangerously. I don’t want this new life. I don’t want a life without my cats. Things were already so bad for me and the only thing holding me together was my cats. But now there’s nothing here for me anymore and I’m so scared. I’m not going to harm myself but I really dont want to be here. And I don’t want to try healing yet either. I just dont even know what to do when every part of me wants to hide away or disappear or go be with my cats. I feel so fragile and hurt but also numb to everything. How will anything ever feel okay again.. this is just too painful

2024.05.19 00:13 ThatLeafsFan1 Persistent Low FPS and GPU Utilization Drops on Ryzen 9 7900X3D Across Multiple Games
CONCLUSION _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. 2024.05.19 00:13 MarionberryThese1954 AITA for standing up to my parents for treating my fiancé differently
I’m M20 and Fiancé is M20 and we been together for 2 years, known each other for 3. I live with my parents and he lives with his due to getting our own place is expensive and we both work full time and trying to save up.
They always been stand off ish with him, I’ve mentioned it many of times to my parents and they say that there not. My fiancé is a lovely and caring guy that has helped me get through my current illness and been there all the way and my parents haven’t.
I’ve started realising it a bit more since my brother M17 has got a girlfriend. They invite her over, let her stay the night, she can come whenever she wants and leave whenever she wants. Parents always joke around with her and talk to her. But when my fiancé comes, they practically ignore him and give dry answers when he tries to speak to them. My dad is always in a mood (Which he’s not when brother’s girlfriend comes round).
So yesterday I mentioned to my parents my fiancé is coming to visit us so we all can watch football (As family loves football). He came about 4pm and brought a crate of alcohol for everyone to share. My dad was in a mood and didn’t want to watch it and so did my mam (Siblings was out at the time). So it left me and my fiancé watching it in my room. Which I felt upset for him as he was looking forward to having drinks n watching football with my family. 30 minutes after he arrived my phone kept buzzing, my mam was messaging me saying she wants him gone by 9pm as she’s “tired of the house being full”. My fiancé does come round twice a week and I go to his parents too and they always have open arms for me. My fiancé left at 8pm to get the train and I walked him up. As soon as I got home I went into living room to find my Brothers girlfriend sitting there, and my mam mentioned that she will be leaving after the boxing match is done (So around 11:30pm to 12:00) which I found unfair due to my mam wanting my fiancé gone by 9pm. They was all sat there laughing and joking and saying “My daughter-in-Law” which is quite funny when my dad told me that my fiancé isn’t “family” and will never be his “Son-in-law”. I didn’t want to start an argument while she was there due to her obviously not knowing about the situation. So I pulled my mam to the side and told her that it feels like my fiancé gets treated differently to her and asked if he’s done anything wrong to them which she replied “No he hasn’t, he’s a decent guy”. So I asked why they treat him differently and she walked away. I mentioned it to my older sister (Who doesn’t live with us anymore) and she said it seems like they are homophobic as she didn’t have the problem as I do when she lived at home and brought boyfriends round. My fiancé’s parents never make me feel unwanted when I go to theirs. But my parents make my fiancé uncomfortable as there in a mood while he’s there or just don’t talk.

2024.05.19 00:13 AcuraTSX6spd My 24 x 17 Deck Build Part 1
| Hi All, long story short I recently bought my house few years ago without a deck. Previous owner had these concrete pavers installed that settled in unfavorable situation for the house. During heavy rain for more than 3 to 4 days, crawl space would take in small bit of water due to ponding against the house. This situation would get drastically worse if my gutters are clogged. Luckily that part of the gutter is easy to get to so I clean it regularly. I live in Northeast, and it is possible that we get 7 to 10 days of rain in a row. So I worry a bit. Making a deck was always a plan when buying this house so we got to work. I wanted my deck to be Trex, waterproofed, and generous size. It is technically a floating deck since it's not attached to the house. 2x8 all around, triple beam on the house side. Double in the middle and far end. For supports, cement footings 2.5 to 3 ft deep, many many tuff blocks, few old school cement supports. Anchors to cement footings, brackets used where possible. Next post should be the end product. Thank you and sorry for making my long story long (and it's not over yet!) haha submitted by AcuraTSX6spd to Decks [link] [comments] |
2024.05.19 00:12 Apefinger Whea uncorrectable error
Black screen
Windows 10 pro Rog crosshair vIII formula 5950x Hx1500i 3090 fe rtx 970 pro plus 1tb x2 128 vengance ram
So at the beginning of the year I upgraded some parts. I went from 5900x to 5950x and 32 gigs of ram to 128 I also swapped my 3.0 riser cable to 4.0. Them the BSOD started I started with replacing the psu from 1000 to 1500 this made the crash further apart and I stopped getting the blue screen. Now it itll just shut down with no warning it just blacks out. I did put all the old hardware back in and I was still getting BSOD all the psu cables are new with the psu I got ride of the color extenders while I’m trouble shooting to to eliminate things. A new 5950 is on the way and if that doesn’t stop the crashes I’ll replace mobo. I checked the m.2 on disk manager they have good health. So it really just puts me in a bad mood when it crashes. Mowing the amount of money and time I have in it. I haven’t had a lot of screen time becuase of the intermittent crashes and have been troubleshooting parts. I’ve done a couple clean installs defaulted the bios and updated the bios chipset also. I did put a custom firmware on my gpu last year when I activated resizable bar but I DDU it and it’s running the most current firmware. So maybe I’m over looking something maybe if anyone can help or have some ideas for me to try I’m all ears. Thanks in advance.

2024.05.19 00:11 Forsaken_Ad3195 New mods to my 2012 FJ Cruiser
| Just finished the install on my new Tinkerer Designs front bumper + Warn VR Evo 10k winch + Auxbeam X-Pro lights. Install was pretty straight forward- and instructions & organization of parts were a 10/10! The instruction video on YouTube was great. I had to find another couple videos on relocating the windshield washer reservoir, and relocating the winch control head, but I found a couple videos and install was good. While I had her all opened up for surgery, I went ahead and added a transmission cooler (very easy install) and Viair air compressor (made my own mount out of a 2”x0.125” aluminum + bench vice & hammer). Switches from CH4X4. I didn’t realize until the end of my install that the Warn winch came with a WIRELESS control.. I probably wouldn’t have put the in/out switches inside the cab, had I known this in the beginning, when I was running wire- but, it turned out good 👍 Other couple mod’s worth noting- Offroam brand dash phone mount. Very solid mount, but I ended up not liking the Ram mount extensions I had to use to make it work with my magnetic iPhone charger. I found a slightly smaller ball, and then was able to affix the ESR mount/charger directly to the dash mount. So I guess you could say I “mod the mod”. I could have just went with the air vent mount for the ESR, but it was a little more flimsy than I would have liked (and I had already spent $80 on the offroam mount, and was hell bent on making it work!) I’m not a fan of drilling holes in the dash, but I wired in a little 12v-5v converteusb port behind the white plastic, to run my usb cord, instead of a 3’ cord across the dash to the charging port. Waiting on the windshield washer fluid relocate reservoir to show up. The 2012 FJ had an exposed reservoir, after taking off the factory bumper. Snowbound customs makes a custom one for the 4th gen 4Runner - a YouTube video said it would fit the FJ, so that’s what I ordered. submitted by Forsaken_Ad3195 to FJCruiser [link] [comments] |
2024.05.19 00:11 angim350 You friendly barmaid comforts you following the loss of a pet [ASMR Roleplay] [F4A] [grief] [comfort] [sweet] [kindness of strangers]
Hey all!
My second (much shorter) script!
This is based on real events. My childhood dog was put to sleep when I was sat in a bar one time, and the barmaid who served me was so lovely to me about it. She had some mutual friends that I knew and posted about me on Facebook afterwards. I never forgot how nice she was, and was really sad to learn she died a few years back in a car accident :(
In honour of her, and the kindness of strangers, I put together this little script below.
I doubt anyone will want to, but open for YouTube/Patreon etc and monetization. Just credit and link to me :)
Sound of clinking glasses. Maybe some background noise but the bar isn’t too busy.
Barmaid
Hey, what can I get you? Pint of lager? Sure thing, coming up.
Sound of pint being poured.
Barmaid
There you go. [specifies the price – the currency of your country] Thankyou.
Sound of drink being drunk quickly.
Barmaid
Are you okay? Sorry, don’t mean to pry, but you look a little down.
Sound of a phone ringing. More clinking glasses for a second.
Barmaid
A shock of straight whisky? Urm, okay. Here you go. Look, are you sure you’re okay? It’s just, you’re on your own, it’s midday, and you’re downing whisky. Plus, don’t often see people your age in here.
(softly)
You may have noticed, our cliental is a bit older than you.
(louder)
No offence, Brian. You still look no older than 50!
(softly)
I swear that guy was coming in here before they invented the TV.
Sound of a drink being drunk quick. A bit of a gasp.
Barmaid
Yeah, that stuff is pretty grim on it’s own. Would you like some water? What was that? Oh no, really? I’m so sorry hon.
(voice softens)
When did it happen? Just now? That was your Dad on the phone? Oh, honey, that’s really sad. I don’t think a lot of people fully appreciate how much pets are a big part of our life. Here, let me get you some water.
Sound of water being poured.
Barmaid
There you go. Drink that. Trust me. You’re too young to be downing whisky like this. It’s okay, you can have a little cry if you want. Nobody’s going to mind here. We’re really not that busy. I just need to dry these glasses.
(beat)
Nope, I don’t have a pet. My arsehole landlord won’t allow them! My mum has a cat though. To be honest, he’s a right vicious sod. Scratched my arm last week. But she loves him to bits. He gets better food than I do! Was yours a cat, or… a dog? Aww, I love dogs! They’re tying, but they bring so much love to a house. What breed was yours?
(beat)
A boxer girl? Aww, they’re awesome dogs! So funny. Great with kids. I’m guessing you were young when you got her?
(beat)
10? Aww man, I’m jealous. I always wanted a dog but mum always said no. Said they were too messy, but I could have a goldfish. Won one at a fair once. Ended up down the toilet two days later. Sorry, I know I’m rambling on. Do you want to be alone?
(beat)
Well, I’m just here then. You can tell me about your girl if you like. What was her name?
(beat)
Sorry, I misheard… Crotchet? That’s an, urm, unusual name. If you don’t mind me asking… oh, you mean like the music note? Ahh I see! You play piano? Your sister’s idea, eh? No, it isn’t silly! Come on, my mum’s cat is called Miss Kitty Fantastico. Yeah, really. No, I don’t know either.
(beat)
You got her when she was eight weeks old? Aww I bet she was so cute! Yeah, I’d love to see a photo! Aww, look at her! I bet she followed you guys around everywhere! I can see her in the sea there with you two! Dogs love swimming, don’t they? Oh, boxers not really a big fan of it? Looks like she didn’t want to leave you guys alone in the scary water then! Bet you’ve got lots of stories about her. What, a ‘famous poop’?
(beat)
Oh my god, no way! So your mum picked her up mid-poop to try and stop her? Bet it went all over her carpet! Haha, I’m not surprised she was fuming! Sure she was a good girl when she got older, though?
(beat)
Haha really? She just sat down mid-walk and refused to move? You know, my uncle had an old lab once that used to do that. They’d get half way up a hill near his house and his dog would just sit and stare at him. He wouldn’t budge until my uncle turned round, then he’d jump up like a snake had bit him. He was called Bullet.
(beat)
Yeah, Bullet slowed down a lot as he got older too. Couldn’t be bothered to get out of his chair. Crotchet was the same? Bet she thought she was royalty. Awww, look at her on the sofa. Yeah honey, she does look a bit ill there. That’s her last photo? Aww, bless her.
Well, from those pics it really looks like she had a great life. She was clearly adored by you all. It does suck that we have to lose them so soon, but if she was in pain then at least she is at peace now. Aww, it’s okay, please don’t worry. You have a little cry. There, there. It’s okay.
(beat)
It’s hard today, but eventually you’ll focus on the good times. The times in the park, that day on the beach, her ‘famous poop’. You were blessed to have her there with you to grow up with. Bet she didn’t like it when you cried, did she? She wouldn’t want you to be sad. And I’m a firm believer that the ones we love never truly leave us. You feel sad now, but just picture here there, watching over you and wagging her tail.
It’s probably the last thing you want to think about now, but one day you may get another pet. They’ll be different, but they’ll also do little things that remind you of Crotchet, and you’ll smile to yourself. My uncle got a little Dalmatian called Freddie and they’re inseparable. It’s kinda funny.
(beat)
Okay honey. You go. Take care of yourself, and I’m sorry for your loss.

2024.05.19 00:11 flandsfroghurt Men, Women & Dogs (2001-2002) short-lived WB sitcom featuring Bill Bellamy
Hey does anyone have any episodes from this short-lived WB sitcom? It featured Bill Bellamy and Brooke Burns.
So far of the episodes that aired(13 in total with only 9 being aired in the U.S. though it's possibly the remaining four episodes were shown overseas as that was the case with the unaired episodes of another short-lived WB sitcom "Run of the House) i've only managed to find the first two episodes, so if anyone has episodes 3-9 that would be great.
3 "A Bone of Contention"
4 "A Bulldog Scorned"
5 "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie"
6 "Kibbles & Grits"
7 "Old Dogs, New Tricks"
8 "Dog Day Afternoon and Night"
9 "A Fetching New Lawyer"

2024.05.19 00:11 Valuable_Shift_2100 Surrounded by people and lonely
I miss the feeling of being comfortable, of being ‘at home’. In my head that’s with him. I don’t know how to break that feeling. Now, I have roommates and I force myself out of the house to be social, but I hate this new life. I miss my old life, when I felt safe and secure. I don’t know how to appreciate the present moment when all I can think about is how great the life I lost was.
He doesn’t love me anymore and doesn’t want to save our marriage. I’ve never felt so discarded and not good enough. I wish I could pull myself out of this depression, but I guess it’s just part of the process.

2024.05.19 00:11 vad112 USJ trip review during golden week (May 2024) + Ride Review
I spent a lot of time reading about how to enter USJ/express passes and Super Mario World so thought I would provide an updated guide here.
About us, party of four, no particular interest in SMW or Harry Potter, but still love going to theme parks. English speaking tourists.
- Bought tickets using Klook as USJ website didn’t accept our cards.
- No express passes were available as seemed to be all sold out (We were glad we didn't buy the anyway).
- Went during Golden week so was expecting to find massive crowds.
Arrived at the park at 7.30am. Already large lines there, but the staff managed the crowds well. In terms of bag check it is a very light touch.
Once each person in your party has scanned into the gates you can choose a timed entry pass for SMW. Having walked through the gates right at 8am, we selected 8.20 as the walk in time (earliest time available)
Walking straight over to SMW and lined up for the Mario cart ride, waited around 45 mins (though app said 60 minute wait).
As mentioned by many others, since SMW is the popular area, you need a timed entry so they can stagger the entries. You can book these via the USJ app as soon as you have scanned through the gates.
It's as simple as that for getting into SMW!
The next part of this will be around my review of the rides in no particular order
1 Koopla's Challenge - Consistently the longest queueing line at USJ, going first thing in the morning, we only had to wait 45 mins but expect wait times of up to 2 hours. I didn't find the ride itself that interesting really - I would classify it as a Interactive VR coaster, but the scenery within the queuing space is amazing. Would've liked to have ridden again, but didn't as the queue times were long. To be frank, i found the ride a little underwhelming considering all the hype.
2 Demon Slayer - Second longest line in park - A Great VR Rollercoaster. Went on it twice. I don't watch the series but could work out what was going on.
3 Flying Dinosaur - Thrilling and with short wait times. This is the most intense rollercoasters in the park, I probably rode it about 3 times (no more due to it's intensity). I feel like the intensity turns some people off which is why the wait times are quick.
4 Flight of the Hippogriff - Kids Rollercoaster, will have fairly long wait times as the train has small capacity - rode on it once
5 Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey - VR Roller Coaster - I found this one extremly impressive in terms of visual effects, the queue line sceneary was also amazing. I like HP a little as well so that helps. Queues move quickly on this one but still expect a short to medium wait (has english subs).
6 Jaws - Short Queue times - more of a live show then a rollercoaster. Did it once and enjoyed it.
7 Hollywood Dream - Probably my favourite roller coaster - less intense then Flying Dinosaur. The line moves quickly as their are 3 trains. Rode on it 3 times.
8 Hollywood Dream Backdrop - Similar to HD - but slower line as only 1 train. Very Enjoyable.
9 Minion Mayhem - Simulator Ride pretty fun, - rode on it twice (has english subs)
10 Waterworld - very good show, saw it twice (note that the actors are Japanese speaking)
Other Items of note
- Many of the shows are in Japanese / have no english subtitles, but there is still enough to see being english speaking only.
- Golden Week has extended opening hours which gave us all the time to see the attractions we wanted. Even then based on the crowds, I think a standard opening hours would be enough.
- Looking back, I would've liked to see some more of the interactive shows such as the Dinosaur and Magical Creatures Meet and Greet but apart from that, I did everything I wanted to.
- Bought Butterbeer, worth it for the experience
