Hey there, I'm in the San Diego/ So Cal area . Looking to find people to chat with and see how things go. If there's a spark the end goal is to find a relationship.
About me: -huge movie fan, especially horror -video games of all types but RPGs in particular -I've been getting into painting and artsy stuff, in particular I have been getting into wargamming painting and the such. -I like to keep in good shape and work out regularly -huge coffee and tea fan, like way more recently. I am a huge cold brew person and/or iced coffee. I love trying new little places out and seeing what they have to offer -enormous sweet tooth, like it's kinda bad actually 😆. Also love baking and going to pastry shops.

I graduated from San Diego State last year with a bachelors in Criminal Justice. I’ve been working 40 hrs a week at an Amazon DS for almost a year and have no clue what to do with my career. I don’t mind my job at all, I love the benefits, hours, coworkers, and my managers. I applied to the CDCR for a corrections position, got approved, passed my written exam but got denied during my background process because of some things I’ve done in the past. It honestly discouraged me and left me feeling a bit hopeless. I’m 26 now. My parents are not in my life and are drug addicts, I’m the first college graduate of my family and it’s hard having no role models or guidance. I look for city jobs, other CJ related jobs and either have no luck due to experience requirements or a pay loss. I get paid more doing what I do than some entry level jobs that require a bachelors degree. It really sucks and I’m starting to feel embarrassed telling family and friends I’m still stuck at this job. Any advice? TIA.

Making this post is with the heaviest of hearts. I have to rehome Samson, my 4 year old Dane. He has suffered from anxiety for the last year, and as a side effect of that has bitten my small dog twice. Luckily these have not been serious or Great Dane sized bites, but I fear that one day they could be. He is typically the sweetest boy, all he ever wants is cuddles and attention and to play catch with his favorite toys. If anybody could give me resources to provide him a happy and safe child free and dog free home, I will be forever grateful.

This bird wove a nest around an old wire in our eaves. I believe there are two of them. They are difficult to capture in a photograph (this one is over exposed so it's tough to capture the color markings). In person (without the camera), they look yellowish with a black marking on their heads. We live in eastern San Diego County, California.
