In this post, i will discuss how some people can become protected consumers of wapda to get electricity at a cheaper price.
Wapda charges its customers in slabs of 100 units, where crossing each slab limit will increase per unit rate by a lot. Forexample, from 0-100 units, rate will be Rs 16 per unit, but from 100-200, rate will be 23 per unit. Similary for higher slabs it is 27, 32 and 35.
But Wapda has also declared a protective customer category, which means those users whose consumption haven't exceeded 200 units per month for the last 6 months, then from 7 month ownward they will be charged at protective rates which are very low. Forexample, 7 Rs per unit for 1st 100 units and then 10 Rs per unit for next 100 units. These rates will continue as long as he doesn't consume more than 200 units in any of the next months. But once he breaks his streak, he will no longer be protected and will be charged at normal rate and will again have to wait for 6 months to get this perk.
As a practical example, lets have a look at billing of Protective vs Regular customers
🔸Protective customer uses 199 units:
100units x 7 = 700 Rs
99units x 10 = 990 Rs
Cost = 700+990 = 1690 Rs
Total bill = roughly double the above amount for taxes and fpa = 3400 Rs (for 199 units in protective category)
🔸Regular customer uses 199 units:
199 units x 23 = 4,500 Rs
Total bill = roughly double this amount for taxes and fpa= 9,000 Rs ( for 199 units for regular customers)

🚨But if protected customer exceeds 200 units, for example 201, then regular rate will apply:
201 units x 27= 5,500
Total bill= after roughly doubling it for taxes= 11,000 Rs

▶️So here are few tips for those whose bill comes around 300 units and they want to save money by going below 200 units:
✔️By replacing an old fan (which runs most of the time) with inverter fan, you can reduce around 50 units from your bill per fan. So by changing just 2 of these fans , you can easily get down to 200 units from 300 units.✔️Furthermore ,you can remove stabilisers from refrigerators as long as your voltage is stable ( this problem of voltage fluctuations only exists in some rural areas but is rare in cities), because these consume 45-50 watts of power for no reason, which itself adds 32 units to your monthly bill. You can use surge protectors instead for voltage protection.
✔️If these things are already optimized and you are still not below 200 units, then you can opt for small solar setup enough to produce 100 units per month, in which case you will use 200 units from wapda at protected rates and another 100 from solar to meet demands every month.

To start with, electricity is like magic to me. I don't understand it. I can work with DC on a pragmatic level but AC is complete witchcraft.
I live in Virginia USA and our electricity provider (Dominion Energy) has gone through our area , replacing our old meters with "smart meters" which, as I am told, can be read remotely, as well as being much more accurate. Everybody's bill seems to skyrocket after the new meter gets installed. I'm talking by 50% plus. When asked about it, Dominion representatives emphasize that the new meters are "more sensitive" and even suggest unplugging fixtures when not in use. This seems like bullshit to me. And I am not alone, I've heard it from lots of people, same story.
What gives? Does a toaster actually use power just by being plugged in and if so, how? How full of shit is Dominion Energy?

So I used the shitpost flair, but I really had this dream and it was weird. Would love your opinions on this. (It's Sunday where I'm posting from)
So I was supposed to go this place I went with an old couple, myself and one woman and one man. We saw an advertisement of an island, and decided to go there. So they projected a fake UFO kind of like seen in movies, it was shorter, but looked more like a stereotypical UFO We went back and for some reason we had this 80s TV and that old man who was with me was watching it. He saw the island's advert there were majestic creatures special to that island. And suddenly there was the UFO news, I said it's fake it's fake. Anyway we decided to go there after entering through the desert and forest, We were taken to a school building with stairs and strated by going upstairs in a queue and then putting our bags in locker. After going there was a very tall woman who was the head of the facility, let's say her name is 'Jen' who was taking us somewhere, but quickly we found out that the entire place is some sort of research facility - people were tortured, animals were tortured and mutants were created. We got very scared, and got hold off some laser guns. (that ran on battery, they didn't had enough power). So we took Jen and saw that in the main area of facility - kids and their parents are playing a sport event and we were not allowed to go in there. It was like a simulation, they were too deep in it to see what's going on. We saw one zombie like creature crawling I used the gun to hit him a few times and he died. It felt good. I put the gun to jen and moved ahead. It was a white alley, and we could see the parents and kids on the other side of the door. The left side of the alley was the research facility, it was mostly empty but big. She told me that they change the race by making them go through race transformation, but the problem is that it's so difficult that not many people survive that. We tried to burn some part of her with the gun and she kept begging that it doesn't have enough laser battery. I thought it was logical so I stopped. We took another stair and went up to see that there are small dirty rooms with no light and 4 chains in it. That was the place for experiment. We saw that some rooms were open, in one of the rooms there was a dead guy, tangled in the chains and 20 ft up in the air. It looked very scary and eerie. By that time we had a ghost following us too. (upon Jens request) But we still put her in the room and plugged the transform race button but we forgot to put on the chain because we were so worried and hurrdily closed the iron door. She seemed unfazed and was laughing. I thought she would come back with more superhuman powers and we'll die. Then we put her in and started looking for exits, the woman next to me said that she has to meet someone in the school and I said are you crazy focus on the mission to get out. Then the spirit started chasing us and we ended up near a river which was just next to the stairs that we took to go to the main experiment room. We could still see that dead guy chained up and dead, and Jens room was closed. We had our guns with us and we could sense the ghost. We saw in our mind or dream that it was a woman's ghost, with long hair and shabby clothes. She must be one of the subjects of the experiment here who died and then turned into a ghost. She tried to capture us in the water and I was convinced that I am dead now. Then suddenly we heard that old man with me started playing live TV on mobile and I understood immediately what was happening. He blew the cover of the facility online and military was about to come The TV still looked like it's from the 1980s Suddenly, the ghost disappeared and I could hear on love TV that everyone is shocked about the discovery of strange creatures and experiments Then we saw hordes of police and other people coming in, tourists coming in as well. We felt a sense of relief. We also saw some Indian women in saree who came to do prayer (puja) in the river. All while Jen's room was locked up and the other room with the dead guy was open. Then the river turned into beer, as soon as the beer ad was coming on TV. We stayed inside the river bank for sometime We went back, got rescued, but I still had my bag in the locker. So I went back again, and asked the old woman with me where is it, somehow she knew. I found it and then we were going back through the forest on a motor boat and we saw a UFO and everyone in the news said "UFO sighting" but I was sure it wasn't a real one. Then we all came back home to tell the tale. At the end, like it happens in movie credits, there was a file given to me and I wrote "Subject Name: My Name" Used in: Room 880, Room 001 880 was the initial room they kept me and 001 was the superhuman transformation one.

in this post, i will be explaining the lifa app as a full guide of how to use it. its features, and what it is.

the lifa app is a reality shifting based app that lets you keep track of your dr or multiple drs in literally every way imaginable. from the time it is to your memories. it even gives you diary entries for yourself. it is meant to be used as a tool to help shifters keep track of all of their information about them and their dr. it also allows a gateway to meet other shifters like yourself and shift with them to the same reality.

the lifa app has many features. the main ones you can see first are dr details, visualizations, group shifting, sharing.
let's go over each feature one by one.

the first thing that you will get when you are greeted by this an i icon that says about this dr. when you click on it, you are able to type the location and a background story about your desired reality.

this feature allows you to add a time and date to your dr. time will pass the same as it does here. for example in my dr, it is currently november 19, 2130 and is 1:47 pm. i chose to freeze time in this dr and submitted it.
: ̗̀➛ theme
this holds the name of what your dr is called, the icon it has, and the background of it when you click on the app. you can also choose the font color and a background tint as well. it also holds your name in your dr.
: ̗̀➛ timeline
you are able to establish a timeline of your desired reality before the point that you shift. i recommend keeping it brief to the important stuff. main instances of childhood and things that you remember with the same importance as you do now.
: ̗̀➛ notion script
this feature is if you have a script on the website notion script. it is a website in which you can gather and fill in shifting templates and is a great way to organize yourself. this is not necessary though. there are other features you can use for your script on here.

this is just a section where you write all about yourself. your name, your age, nicknames, safe word, height, hometown, ethnicity, race, nationality, sexuality, pronouns, gender, language(s), positive traits, negative traits, habit, likes, dislikes, hobbies, and skills.

when you enter this tab, it will take you to a screen that has a place where you can add family members, friends, pets, significant other(s) or 'other'. the other tab has you in it.
when you decide to add let's say a friend, you start off by adding their name. then there age, closeness, and appearance. you can follow that up by adding a photo of said friend. you can type in relationship dynamic, how you met, and extra info. the format is the exact same no matter the type of relationship aside from pets.

it's just a brief section where you can type in a title and add as much as you want of details of that memory. you can add a photo and select if it has a date or if it is a past memory or not.

this just has the date of your dr. you can also create events on specific dates. that's pretty much it, this section is short.

you can write diary entires. talk about your day, memories, anything that may make you feel closer to your dr. this section is also short.

so is this one. you make a playlist. and link the playlist, whenever you open the playlist, you get a new tab that takes you to that playlist to listen. i use it to keep my shifting subliminal playlist, but you don't have to.

this is a tab within a tab so i'm bolding it. the first tab is customize, but that feature is locked behind a paywall with a monthly subscription of $3.99. i will talk about the subscription later.
then you have powers. you type the name of it and what your powers do. you have weapons which have the same explanation as powers. missions means you can make your own missions.
then there is combat skills. you list your strength, speed, agility, intelligence, compatibility, stamina, and flexibility out of five. then you can add your backstory. it's a blank sheet where you can type it out.
next is costumes where you describe what your costume looks like.
ally team includes your team name, how well you work together, specific events and upcoming battles, and other details. you can also add relationships from your relationship section and names of that.
enemy team is relatively the same. a team name, specific events or battles, other details, and can once again, select relationship with each member.
finally, there is timeline which has a title and description. you can also add scenarios if needed.
thankfully, that is thee last feature about dr details and we can now move on to visualizations.

this tab focuses all on the visual aspects of your desired reality. even if you can't visualize, you can still use these to get a good idea on what things will look like.

you can add a hair claim, face claim, body claim, hand claim, voice claim, and specific features claim. personally, i think that the last one could be explained easily in body or face claim.
either way, when you press one of these tabs, you can type in a detailed description on what you look like. now, i didn't notice at first but all the way at the bottom will be a small section that says add photo to which you can go into your gallery and choose a photo for yourself on that specific claim.

this section will include an area that says wardrobe. you press the giant + sign on the top right hand corner and it takes you to a section that says create wardrobe. all you gotta do is add a title and a description. once you do that, you click on the tab again and then add a photo of a specific outfit of yours. you can add multiple photos, move them around using the recorder option right next to photos.

i think some of its features are helpful! however, other parts of it can be very distracting from shifting. i almost felt like this was an oc maker rather than shifting app. some of these i think didn't need so many features. the amount of features there are is crazy. the features section alone i needed to divide into several sections because it took so much longer to get through than i initially thought. it took about two hours to review each of them and i had to take breaks in between. to a new shifter especially, this would be so overwhelming.
you don't need face claims, body claims, or special features claims. as long as you have a general idea of what you and your desired reality is like then you're fine. this is just gonna over complicate shifting and make it seem more fictional in a way. if anything, this makes you less connected to your desired reality since your focusing so much on this one.
it wouldn't be a waste to download it but i wouldn't recommend buying it. but if you do, then more power to you.

Hey i just got a 2024 f150 power boost, and want to get A/T tires. Currently running the stock 275/60/r20 and want to go bigger to the 275/65/r20, will this fit with stock ride height? My 33/12.5/r20 from my old ram rubbed so i’m scared to buy a new set

I've owned my Polestar 2 for 3 weeks now and have a lot to say about the car.
TLDR: - Looks good on the outside and inside with performance and plus packs - Pilot pack adds to an interesting driving experience - Range and electric adds to longer journeys due to charging time and public charging prices are more expensive than petrol
Model Year: 2021 Interior: WeaveTech in Charcoal with Black ash deco - This option is a little dull to be honest. I haven't been in a Nappa Polestar but in pictures that looks really nice. I believe even the slate would look better. - I do like the comfort of the seat but I have had comfier seats. Where it really shines is the number of adjustments you can make to it. - The golden seat belts to match the brake calipers on the performance pack are a nice touch - The centre console is occupies a lot of space without providing much storage. They have tried to give some of that back with the little side storage on it which I like the concept of - no major comments about the controversial cup holder but I wish the centre storage where the second cup holder is had more space - The infotainment system is a little slow and I wish the screen had a button to turn it off for when it's not needed. Overall though I like the Android OS and can see potential once it has time to mature some more. The risk is Google likes to randomly end projects so who knows if it will get canned in some nearby year. - I really like the integration of Google maps. Firstly into the driver HUD and secondly that it can read the battery level and automatically add stops for charging points - The 360 camera is nice but I wish that the view had rear camera in a split screen. Still it's not too bad as I can use the mirrors at the same time to help. - The design of the gear knob is cool, especially with the Polestar logo. - I have the panoramic roof which I think is really cool. Unfortunately as the driver you do not get to enjoy it much. - I wish the lights had more colour options other than white - I like the music auto plays when I sit in the car - I like that there is no on/off. I just sit and drive. - The Harmon sound system is okay but could be clearer. I haven't played around with the mixer yet so maybe need to adjust that for better sound quality.
Exterior: Midnight Performance Pack - Overall I like the exterior of the car. It was one of the main reasons that I bought it. Especially with the performance pack. - Not 100% sure about the front grill though - The front lights look pretty cool. I like the motion they make when you lock/unlock the car. I have the Pixel lights and seeing them in action is awesome. - I think the back looks really nice. I think the rear light looks futuristic and the motion it does when you lock/unlock the car puts the icing on the cake. - The Polestar logo on the car blends in really nicely and isn't so in your face. - The rimless wing mirrors look great. Now whenever I sit in other cars I notice the ugly frame around the wing mirrors. The blind spot warning lights on them are really useful too. - The car has an interesting stance making it somehow look bigger than it really is - The two tone alloys and eye catching yellow brembo brake calipers make a nice combination
Motor: Long range Dual motor - It makes the range a little too short . It has over 50 miles less range than the long range single motor. Despite this I like having the additional performance power available and therefore I am willing to make the sacrifice. - The reduced range and longer recharge time versus a petrol car does add time to roadtrips unfortunately. Charging prices on the road mean the long journeys are more expensive than a petrol car as well. However for local driving it is great and charging at home is very easy and convenient.
Driving experience - The instant acceleration is fun and for this reason I'm seriously considering getting the performance software upgrade. - The steering, even on the firmest setting is still too light for me and doesn't really feel connected to the road. This is to be expected for this kind of car I guess. There is understeer when pushing it a bit as well. Interesting that you can make the car slide. - I am a convert to single pedal driving it is really nice to not really have to use the brakes. I really like going into corners and not having to use the brake to adjust the speed, as well as when having to come to a stop just letting go of the pedal and slowing nicely to a stop. - I'm undecided whether to have creep on or off. I have it on at the moment but I'm considering turning it off - adaptive cruise control with the lane control is amazing on motorways, the car is almost driving itself. Not so useful in local driving, especially in the UK but there's nothing wrong with old fashioned less autonomous driving - I had a fun experience with the rear collision detection. I thought the seatbelts were trying to choke me but after a moment realised that the car is trying to protect me when it thought someone was going to hit me from behind. I love that feature.
Keys: - The fat keys are too big but I barely use them - the active lifestyle key is slim and combined with the touch sensitive door handles suits me very well - I do not believe in my phone enough yet to use it as a full time key however it is very convenient when I just need to go to the car for any quick reason. I don't have to take my key with me because the phone is the key making it a lot more convenient. The polestar app is fairly limited but it's useful to see the battery charge, whether you forgot to lock it and where the car currently is.
One last point that I didn't really know where to fit is that I really like the online documentation that is available for the car, it's really clear and explains a lot of things and I can search through it using Google

Budget: Noo budget really. Just want to pay a fair price for whichever car I deem worthy. However wouldn’t exceed like 30,000.
The predicament:
As you’ve herd I’m deciding between an Audi s4, a small nimble German sport sedan, and a Nissan armada, a incredibly large Japanese family car.
I’m pretty young, like before college. My parents are very graciously putting 10,000 towards any car I want to buy, and will pay for its insurance as well. I have made a reasonable sum of money on something I won’t fully disclose, but had something to do with fixing cars and then getting them out of my… possession. (I flipped cars)(the IRS thinks I just like to keep cars for a short period of time)(they probably know damn well actually but anyways). I have made enough money to buy a car I want, but want to have enough money to make it through college and eventually put a down payment on a house pretty early on.
^THIS IS MY justification for buying the S4. You can find them around 18,000$, which is 8,000 out of my pocket. I understand that German cars, especially 9 year old sporty ones, aren’t that cheap to maintain, but just wait until the armada.
THE ARMADA: I want to buy an armada because they are big, badass, and have plenary of room to haul things around in. I go to a lot of places with my big telescope and I also do woodworking projects a lot. I go off-roading with my dad in his 4 runner often and have a blast, i would love to come along in an armada. Thing has 4 high, 4low, and 400 horses. The armada is significantly more expensive, though. AND GETS 13 MILES TO THE GALLON😭.
I drive to school 30 minutes away every day, and drive across pa for astronomy things frequently, so Id love the comfort of the armada, but would love the sportiness of the s4. My Dad had a new s4 when I was young, so it would mean a lot to me to have it again.

Just drained my Hayward filter for the first time (system is 1.5 yrs old but lived at place for less than a year)and the inside was pretty immaculate. I think this is because the pump is running almost all the time.
Anyway, one thing I noticed when I drained it was a tiny little hole and stream of water still coming in to the bottom via a pipe running across the bottom. I immediately assumed it was a leak as I couldn’t think what purpose it could serve but then again I’m a newbie with this stuff, plus the whole seemed very precisely placed and cleanly made. If a leak, I’m not overly concerned as water is obviously supposed to be in there all the time. However, if it’s not intended, I wouldn’t want it to become biggean issue.
The stream was slow when I saw it but everything was powered down, so don’t know if the pressure would normally be higher.

One of Christianity's core beliefs is the belief of predestination and free will. Not only are these the cornerstone of christianity but also one of the most debated viewpoints for theologians. Most Protestant denominations follow the views of predestination and the elect, while free will is the belief of Catholics. The Webster dictionary defines free will as the “freedom of humans to make choices that are not determined by prior causes or by divine intervention” while predestination is defined as “the doctrine that God in consequence of his foreknowledge of all events infallibly guides those who are destined for salvation”. Scripture shows that God is Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent. Scripture also tells of God’s preaching of predestination and to humanities free will. In the Gospel Jesus Christ is shown to teach free will to humanity. This evidence proves that Predestination can exist in the world simultaneously with our own free will.
In Genesis 1:1-3, God created the heavens and the earth. In this scripture we can understand that God is all powerful. He is not held by matter and space, because he makes the matter and rules over the space. As well, he is the beginning and the end as seen in Revelation 22:12-13, “he is the Alpha and the Omega”. This refers to the beginning and end of the Greek alphabet and is a metaphor for God's unlimited age. He does not die and has been around for ever and ever. He is not held by time meaning he can be in the past, present, and future. Because God can see all, this means he knows all and knows the ends of our life (either salvation or damnation).
Not only does the bible prove that Predestination exists, it also proves free will exists through scripture. In Galatians 5:13, Jesus says, you my brothers were called to be free. Jesus means that we as God’s people are free from restraints and our lives are not scripted or shaped to God's will, it is our own will. This scripture can be confusing because of other biblical verses like 1 Corinthians 6:19–20, which states that God owns us in body and spirit, but this is referring to our physical bodies and spiritual souls which he has created and thus owns. We can look at the word owns being synonymous with the word creator. God created us from dust and dust we shall return but our lives in between are our own destiny. Likewise, Jesus preaches to the Jews in John 8:31-32, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” We see Jesus showing the true nature and belief of God which is free will because Jesus is God's true nature. No matter if Jesus and God teach of two different things, they can never contradict each other because they are one alone. As Christians we try to make a human-like connection between these beliefs and come to the point of confusion but as humans were created to have confusion. Although harsh, God says, “For my people are foolish; they know me not; they are stupid children; they have no understanding.” in part of Jeremiah 4:22.
The Bible directly shows that God teaches predestination to his people through his divine revelation of scripture. The Bible also shows that Jesus preaches free will to his people through parables, sermons, and real life applications. Neither of them are lying or teaching heresy but instead display their own perspective to those who would believe. In the time of Jesus, people wanted to hear that they have free will (which they do) so Jesus preached of free will more often, which grew his supporters. God’s predestination would be heard by the original writers of the Bible through divine inspiration and revelation but as well hundreds of thousands of years later in the Bible. These two beliefs were able to come together through the old testament and the new testament to agree with one another instead of contradicting each other.
One argument against the previous statement is that the new testament is the fulfillment of the old testament, meaning predestination would be irrelevant and free will would be the fulfilled and true belief. I would say that if this was true, then every other belief we have like the 10 commandments in the old testament would be irrelevant as well and should not be taught. As well this would mean we should just read the new testament and ignore the old testament entirely. We have both for a reason, whether that be for reference or for historical truths.
In conclusion, even though they are frequently perceived as contradicting, the ideas of predestination and free choice are essential to Christian theology. Catholics emphasize free will, while Protestants usually emphasize predestination. Scripture, however, affirms both positions: Jesus' teachings in the Gospels support free will, while God's omniscience and omnipotence imply predestination. This apparent contradiction strengthens God's nature and His relationship with humanity and shows that human freedom and divine sovereignty can coexist accordingly with Christian beliefs. I would like to end with the verse Proverbs 16:9 stating, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” This one verse can single handedly solve this whole argument, so I would like you to ponder this verse as I end this thesis.

Just this week, I received an email from a relation advertising FOREVER—not to be confused with Forever Living. Searching through this sub, I found a few short references over the last years with little detail. In one, a commentor described FOREVER stating "as mlms go, it seems ethical." Every red light went off while I looked into these “FOREVER Ambassadors.” I then began a search, with much of the ultimate work done by my spouse. It took longer than seemed acceptable to identify this MLM for people who glanced over the internet. FOREVER is not listed on any of the MLM databases I could find from this sub or elsewhere. Based on the mandatory “FOREVER Ambassador Community” on Facebook, now 8 years old, at least 2,500 people have gotten into their clutches at some point (I haven’t linked because I think it might be against the sub rules).
Thus, for the benefit and enjoyment of the people, here are references for the community to identify a yet-another-multi-level-marketing scheme. I am a sarcastic person, so be forewarned. All sources were publicly available and required no logins or access.

STUDY OF FOREVER
(1) Background of the FOREVER business model
FOREVER is an online service that advertises it can be a “permanent digital home that lasts for many generations.”[1] This is to be accomplished via a so-called “FOREVER Guarantee Fund” that invests to pay for digital storage for over 100 years.[1] Their website promises me that “permanent” is “not a buzzword”—I think that’s the Platonian ideal of a buzzword.[1] Regardless, this is not a quality review post.
(2) The FOREVER Ambassador program
The sellers used by FOREVER are called “FOREVER Ambassadors.”[2] As advertised, it looks like a classic MLM pitch. You can “earn up to 35%” commission” while having “the freedom to work from home, and the flexibility to make money on your own schedule.”[2] FOREVER lists various opportunities, such as “trainings” and the ability to “learn and grow with friends,” as well as “make life-long friends.”[2] As part of the “Meet our Team” webpage for corporate FOREVER, there are multiple “Executive Ambassadors” listed.[3] There is no barrier to entry on experience required to become an Ambassador.[4] I observed that, throughout the internet and on the FOREVER website, the vast majority of Ambassadors are women—as you know, many MLMs target women and moms.
(3) Costs of serving as an Ambassador
FOREVER has, at minimum, an “Annual Ambassador Fee” that is the primary cost to entry of the program.[2] For $179 a year, one would receive “back office tools,” various marketing materials, and “countless opportunities”—maybe money, but more on that soon.[2] There is a link to an Ambassador’s own selling website.[5, at 22] This Ambassador fee “is subject to change over time.”[5, at 25] There is also a FOREVER Merchandise store where Ambassadors can get their supplies.[6] These include a 40-pack set of catalogs for $44.99 and a $144.99 tablecloth for potential customers during in-person events.[6]
For Ambassadors, FOREVER advertises there are “free training events.”[5, at 25] Each year, for $399 in 2024, Ambassadors can attend the 3-day “FOREVER Live!” event.[7] It is in the destination getaway of… next to their headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA (I’m sorry Pittsburgh, you’re a beautiful city).[5, at 24] It is also possible to pay for a “p2P Virtual Party” and “p2P Live Events,” but is unclear what those mean.[5, at 5] Various “ranks” of Ambassadors receive a “monthly stipend” starting at $25 a month after $15,000 total in personal plus team sales a year.[5, at 9]
(4) Compensation advertised for Ambassadors
(4a) Income in cash from personal sales
FOREVER pays its Ambassadors based on a “cash sales” versus “full sales” system.[5, at 5] The too-long-didn’t-read summary is that some products are paid less commission than others because of “margin” of different products.[5, at 5–6] Critically, the Personal Commission Rate is where our story kicks into gear. At the bottom, an Ambassador who sells less than $2,000 a year in sales receives the windfall of a 15% commission.[5, at 7] The number rises to 34% once sales are $90,000 or greater in one year (I don’t know where the 35% from earlier went).[5, at 7] However, to earn the 20% commission or more once one passes the $2,000 sales amount requires completion of the “FOREVER Ambassador Business (FAB) Training.”[5, at 7] I read it, more on that later.
You might ask, “Is there a sales quota for FOREVER® Ambassadors?” FOREVER says “no.”[8] However, the less one does the less FOREVER pays Ambassadors for what they do (this chart is older than the Compensation Guide cited).[8]
(4b) The downline system used by FOREVER
Of course, while it took forever to reach here, we come to the “downline” process—FOREVER’s words, not mine.[9] FOREVER immediately identified that new Ambassadors “choose another Ambassador to mentor you as you grow your business” (I do not know if this means an upline).[2] Nevertheless, “Team Sales” are compensated by FOREVER down to the 5th Line.[5, at 9] If an Ambassador does not build a team, then they do not earn Team Commissionable Cash Sales Commissions.[5, at 9] FOREVER states that getting new Ambassadors “to sign up under your name” is how you help “further your business.”[9]
However, even if an Ambassador builds a team, they receive a very restricted downline compensation if they do not make a minimum of personal sales.[5, at 9] For future reference, an “Associate Ambassador,” the bottom, makes less than $2,000 and earns no downline sales.[5, at 9] An “Ambassador,” second to last, is the first rank with a downline commission (4% for 1st Line), requiring $2,000/personal a year.[5, at 9] To reach “Senior Ambassador,” third to last, and above, a FOREVER Ambassador must start earning exponentially greater amounts of personal plus team sales to rise in the “ranks.”[5, at 9] A Senior Ambassador requires $8,000/personal but $15,000/gross, and is the first to get 2nd Line commission (4% for 1st Line and 2% for 2nd Line).[5, at 9] It is unclear to me if “new members” must be recruited “each month” to rankup—the website says so, but I see it nowhere in the Compensation Guide.[8]
At the top of hierarchy, there become two “Executive Ambassadors.”[5, at 9–10] These ranks start at $28,000/personal and $250,000/gross a year.[5, at 9] As well, one must have at least three “Team Leaders” in their 1st Line.[5, at 10] Team Leaders refers to Ambassadors who have themselves reached the rank of “Associate Lead Ambassador” ($12,000/personal and $30,000/gross).[5, at 9] FOREVER advertises that the Executive ranks are for—and I am not making this up—those Ambassadors who are “grooming FOREVER Leaders on your team below you.”[5, at 10] Irony is dead folks.
(4c) Non-monetary-achievement compensation
Because being paid to work is overrated, FOREVER will also provide “Additional Benefits” to its various ranks. As an Associate Ambassador, you can join the aforementioned Facebook Group and hear the CEO talk on a monthly phone call.[5, at 11] Regular Ambassadors also get a certificate to put on their wall.[5, at 11] Senior Ambassadors get a standing ovation at FOREVER Live!—you can even be ovated on stage as an Associate Lead Ambassador (I would pay $179 a year to not).[5, at 13–14] My observation is that a lot of ranks mostly provide additional types of standing ovations at FOREVER Live! and reserved seats for dinners there.
But then you can reach the pinnacle of Everest (that much like the real one, other people just carry you up there): the Million Dollar Club.[5, at 20] For making $1 million in personal and team sales in a year, one will earn a single $10,000 dollar bonus.[5, at 20] If you are then a “top-performing Ambassador,” one can be taken on the “Achievement Gathering,” to Jamaica in 2024, to mill around with other top-performing Ambassadors—and the corporate staff.[5, at 24] There is no mention how many people earn it or how much must be earned.[5, at 24]
(5) FOREVER Ambassador Business Training
I mentioned earlier that Ambassadors must complete a “FAB” training to receive more than 15% in commissions.[5, at 7] To hit this post home, I wanted to identify some highlights. The FAB training has 5 Steps to reach regular Ambassador status.[10, at 4] These Steps include such activities as “Meet with your Upline” (Step 1), “Connect with your Upline” (Step 2), “Meet with your Upline” (Step 3), “Meet with your Upline” (Step 4), and “Meet with your Upline” (Step 5).[10, at 7, 10, 12, 14, 16] You also have to join the FOREVER Facebook group and any created by your Team (just “ask your Upline” to find it).[10, at 6–7] There’s a task in Step 2 to create an introductory “Share List,” with five lines each for “Friends,” “Teachers,” and your own “Parents/Grandparents.”[10, at 7–9] For an unclear number of hours, you must attend multiple weekly and monthly “training opportunities” and “calls.”[10, at 6–7, 10] And one last item, to rank up in FOREVER, you must register for an upcoming event.[10, at 12] As of writing, the only one listed on the linked webpage is the $399 FOREVER Live! conference.[11]
(6) Conclusion down to brass tax on FOREVER
I was unable to find an Income Disclosure Statement for FOREVER. However, basic math tells us that an Associate Ambassador, the bottom, can only earn up to $300 a year.[5, at 11] To reach regular Ambassador, which includes signing up and beginning all the time sinks listed above, the maximum personal commission is $1,200, in addition to whatever downline (however big those are on average).[5, at 11] Without a downline, even the top-bracket personal sellers are the only ones to earn more than $30,000 a year.[5, at 7] The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis estimates that the Real Median Personal Income in the United States for 2022 was $40,480.[12]
There is one way to make it with FOREVER: to build a downline. It’s a multi-level-marketing scheme, and no one should join it. Unless of course, you want to join my downline—I promise you'll be rich just like me.
