Will the venue staff enforce assigned seats? I'd like to be in the seats I purchased instead of stressing about getting to the venue early to get good seats. I can understand someone getting assigned seats near the back being a little unhappy about it but I was lucky and got a pretty solid spot. I'd like to be in that spot all three nights.
What's the deal?

I am looking to upgrade several items in my kitchen, from knives (went down the miyabi/shun/tojiro/whatever macys or amazon had rabbit hole) to pots and pans (wedding registry definitely kickstarted my desire to look at everything!).
I mostly cook for myself and my partner, and occasionally will cook larger meals, though that is rarer than I'd like. I have a gas stove and prefer stainless teel - I love putting it in the dishwasher and not worrying about non-stick coatings and chemicals. However, my partner hates stainless and cast iron and prefers non stick :)
I have two All Clas D3 12" fry pans and an 8" ceramic pan, and was debating replacing one with the Hestan Nanobond - either one of the 12.5" or the pair of 8" and 11". This way we kind of get the best of both worlds, where I can still get a great sear, and she can make eggs without worrying.
However, I also cook a LOT of pasta and sauces, and was looking for a good pan there - I have a non-stick saute pan that I need to get rid of, and have been debating either a pan like https://www.seriouseats.com/best-pasta-pan recommends (aluminum, not oven safe), a Hestan ProBond 3.5qt saute, a LeCreuset stainless 3.5qt saucier, or a french skillet.

Stirling is set to take centre stage in Scotland’s film and TV industry with the creation of one of the biggest studios in the country. Thousands of high-skilled jobs could be created after the green light was given to establish the studio campus on former MoD land at Forthside.

The base – also known as Forthside Barracks – was built as an ordnance depot in 1899. It was purchased by Stirling Council for $5.6 million in March this year and is now set to be transformed into a bustling production facility for the small and silver screens.

Experts have assessed there is currently 100,000 sq ft of studio space and 110,000 sq ft for production, logistics and office space at the site, which overall comprises 360-acres.

The site will continue to be owned by Stirling Council, but an operator will be appointed to run the studios and the project hoping to attract both UK and global productions.

Chief Executive Carol Beattie said she is confident about the future success of the studios, following “overwhelmingly positive” feedback from industry figures.

She said: “In a previous role as Director of Creative Industries for Scottish Development International, I knew there was still an opening for more production space in Scotland. At that point, I spent time in London speaking to the British Film Commission and studio operators such as Pinewood, Three Mills and Warner Brothers to understand the specifications of a good site.

“When I saw the unique buildings and location at Forthside, I considered it to be a fantastic fit, which has since been confirmed through our close consultation with the industry, including Screen Scotland.”

The project has been supported by repurposing a proportion of the $21.3 million grant secured by the council from UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund (LUF) for the redevelopment and regeneration of Forthside.

Stirling Council Leader, Cllr Chris Kane said the studio could be “truly transformational” for the area.

He said: “We have an opportunity to embed an industry in our city which will bring thousands of high-skilled jobs, put us on a global creative map and deliver a significant economic boost to the region over many decades.

“By making innovative use of the existing buildings on a former military site, we are creating a studio campus that will provide everything film producers need to meet demand in a thriving sector.

“Students in our schools, our college and our University will be able to pursue creative careers right here in Stirling that in the past would have meant having to consider leaving to chase opportunities elsewhere.”

He added: “I would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work in getting us to this point. We are determined to seize the moment for the people of Stirling and realise the rewards of this ambitious project.”

Some of the buildings already on the site will be retained and refurbished for the film and high-end TV campus. The remainder of the land will be redeveloped and cleared.

The site has already been used as a filming location which will provide valuable experiences and lessons to serve future high-end productions, Stirling Council said.

UK Government Minister for Scotland John Lamont added: “Scotland and the UK are a true film and TV production success story and the creation of Stirling Studios to add to the high-quality portfolio of content being produced on these shores is brilliant news. “I’m delighted that £24 million UK Government funding is helping Stirling Council to purchase and redevelop the former MoD Forthside site. The jobs and economy boosting regeneration that will follow will provide fabulous opportunities for the region.

“The UK Government is committed to making sure that Scotland and the wider UK remains an attractive location for film and high-end TV productions. That is why we have supported our world-leading creative industries with £1.1 billion in tax reliefs. In total we are investing £81 million in leveling up Stirling and Clackmannanshire and more than £3.2 billion across Scotland.

Isabel Davis, Executive Director of Screen Scotland said: “The Stirling site’s location and ready potential for conversion into a studio are both exceptionally promising. Scotland has recently seen significant growth in productions looking to access its internationally recognized cast and crew, as well as its versatile natural and built environments.

“This new site will only add to Scotland’s considerable offering as a filming destination. Working with Stirling Council on this over the last few months, we have been very encouraged by the visionary approach that the team there have taken to get to this stage, including the opportunity to grow the local crew base. I wish I could go back to my late teens and redo some things. I don’t feel I missed out by not partying or hooking up or having friends. I didn’t want that anyway and just wanted to find love, get married, have a stable business and have a family.

Some background: My husband and I bought our house in August of 2020 before the market took off. We’rethe first to admit we got it at an amazing price, we’re also the youngest people in our neighbor and first time home buyers. (He’s 31 and I’m 29, so we were 27 and 25 when we bought) Our neighborhood has about 100 houses in it and we’ve never really had any serious issues with the HOA in our four years. Always paid dues on time, and honestly love our immediate neighbors in our cul-de-sac. However we have a new HOA board this year and they are on a fucking power trip, absolutely insane abuse of power and I’m not here for it.
Onto the issues, about three weeks ago we get THREE violations. One to mulch our yard, one because our trash cans were visible from the street and one because we needed to pressure wash the driveway. The violations were dated for April 17th, we didn’t receive them via email or mail until April 24th, giving us ten days to rectify each issue. We had some bushes removed and landscaping being changed and said we’d mulch our yard AFTER it was done as it would have ruined the mulch. The completion date that we gave them was until April 21st, meaning they APPROVED us not mulching until then, yet still somehow wanted to give us a notice for not mulching yet because they apparently can’t read or remember?
The trash cans were in front of our house because we went out of town for 10 days and our neighbors agreed to take them down for us so our garage wouldn’t smell, and told us to just leave them in front of our garage.
I emailed back saying that we left them there because we were out of town and the alternative was to leave them at the curb for ten days, and asked which they preferred so we could do that next time we’re gone for an extended period of time. I followed up with screen shots highlighting where they approved our yard work and mulch date and asked why even approve it if you’re gonna turn around and try and fine me over this? And said “You gave me ‘10 days’ to fix all of this from April 17th but only notified me on the 24th, thus giving me only 3 actual days to fix all of this, that is simply either incompetence or intentionally trying to set residents up to fail. I will have all things corrected by ten days from TODAY, April 24th as that is the timeline I should have been given”
Everything moved along fine until yesterday. Our trash gets picked up on Tuesday’s sometimes they collect first thing, sometimes they run late I don’t really care as long as someone comes and picks it up. Like most people with curb trash services, you put your bins out the night before pick up to make sure your bins are emptied. I get an email at TEN PM on Tuesday evening, with a picture of my trash cans on the curb from that morning, saying “your trash cans cannot be out on the curb on non trash collection days” despite Tuesday being the literal fucking day of trash collection.
I immediately hop on our HOW Facebook page and call the entire board out just to find out it’s something just about everyone with the same trash service got a citation for.

Hi, I have been on birth control pretty much starting from my early twenties (34 now). I stopped October 2023, first period in January 2024, cycles have been 40 days until now, which is why I went to my OBGYN. I was diagnosed with PCOS but unfortunately she wasn't very forthcoming of what it entails for me. Do I have to do regular check-ups, what, when, etc - she just prescribed birth control and that was it. Maybe I'm not correct but it just seems like masking the problem to me and I do not want to go on the pill again. Is this the only solution until the time comes if and when I want to get pregnant?? I have been looking through other posts and saw Metformin mentioned a lot, when and why is this prescribed? Maybe it's worth to mention that I also have Hashimoto's disease (thyroid), currently I am not on anything, I get yearly check-ups. Coming off the pill I have bit more pimples and hair shedding, also a bit of a weight gain (175cm/5'8, 64kg/141 pounds) but the latter was rather during the pill. Anyway, I am a bit confused and lost on what to do next.. should I go to a endocrinologist? Also I am scared of gaining a bunch of weight, losing my hair and overall the affect this will have on the body now/in the future (fertility issues, is there a high risk of being diabetic etc)?

Hello, I posted first in AskVet but didn't get any replies, so that's why I'm using their format here. My question is moreso about FLUTD, but maybe someone here had a similar experience or something to say about cats with both kidney and urinary problems.

• Species: feline
• Age: 11 yrs.
• Sex/Neuter status: F, spayed.
• Breed: domestic short hair
• Body weight: 9 lbs.
• History: rescue at 5 y/o, had dental problems that were treated successfully, (most teeth removed) medical and behavioral health has generally been good, really good litter box habits except during episodes of FLUTD. This cat has extremely high reluctance to drink water. Exclusively wet food diet since 5 yrs. old.
• Clinical signs: symptoms consistent with FLUTD. Inappropriate urination outside the box. Frequently urinating small amounts. Occasional straining.
• Duration: These episodes have been going off and on with no discernible pattern, for the past 4 ish years. It was manageable until very recently. I would give extra fluids, like Churu mixed with water, and symptoms would go away within a day or 2.
• Your general location: Northern US.

My question is, is it typical to try a renal diet to help with FLUTD symptoms? My understanding is that renal diets also help dilute the urine and that's important to maintain. My vet has not found crystals in my cat's urine. They also haven't given a formal diagnosis of FLUTD and I'm honestly not sure why. It could be because I reported to them that I was managing it myself. My vet told me after doing a blood panel, about 6 months ago, that my cat could have early signs of kidney problems but it was a wait and see situation. At the time I declined to do the Rx food because we had such a specific feeding routine going on and my cat gets anxious about feeding. She gets 4 small meals per day that are heavily watered down because she refuses to drink water. Yes I have tried 2 different fountains to absolutely no effect.
I changed my mind and got the NF early care food, only been feeding it for 2 days at 25%. Is this a "kill 2 birds with 1 stone" situation or is it that the kidney issue takes precedence?

But, I had pretty much given up on pursuing her as partner years ago... but after mentioning a trip she had where she met up with a old childhood friend she has, she adamantly said he isn't interested un her but... bruh, I can tell, a guy never does all the things he does for a girl he doesn't like.
Finding this out made My heart drop... I was so mad...so angry...but mostly sad...because if she ever got together with him...sadly I would lose my best friend...
So I asked her out a few days later... I told her I would be willing to support her and her dreams, take care of her and hope she joins me in my trips to travel around the world...together.

Some says for long term you can't beat maruti due to lower maintenance cost and good mileage and some.says 3XO will be a more better car in terms of safety & all(need customisation). Currently using my GTCC for hotel and rental/gas (with CNA), and Iwas instructed to use it for meals. Do I still get reimbursed per diem?
Or is it a split disbursement of paying hotel rental and gas and then a flat per diem rate?
Just kind of confused because some people are explaining it as “a use it or lose it” per diem and that it should all go on the card, meaning ONLY the GTCC balance will be paid. Nothing else. I’ve used it for some meals, on and off base, but some places didn’t even accept the card. So I’ve only used it for Hotel, Rental, gas, and a few meals here and there. How will reimbursement work here? Should I stop using it for meals? Do I pay the card off after a travel claim is paid to my personal account? Any help is appreciated.

I've been spotting or bleeding with small clots since I was around 6 or 7 weeks pregnant and I am now 21 weeks pregnant. I spoke to both my family doctor and my midwife and neither of them will write me a note to be off for the rest of my pregnancy but I keep hearing stories about people having their babies early when they are having a lot of spotting off and on. When I am at home and resting I don't spot much but at work it's a big increase even though I have been not lifting . Just wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar and has advice for me. My doctor told me today to get counseling to accept everything going on and continue to work.

i am 20 years old. i live in indiana where abortions are illegal so i am going to a neighboring state to get help. i am currently 15 weeks today. i was planning on keeping the baby just a week ago. my boyfriend and i are young but once we found out i was pregnant, we thought it would be a beautiful experience to raise a baby together. i have went to the ob gyn and gotten an ultrasound, morning sickness medicine, and everything i’d needed to get me through the first trimester. a few days ago, my boyfriend and i had a horrible, awful breakup. the last month of our relationship had gotten abusive on his side and i was willing to stay with him, hoping he would get better and promising to him that i would get better too. it ended up not working out and we haven’t been in contact too much at all. he was my first boyfriend and first love, so going through this with him was the last thing i wanted. the day him and i broke up, i decided and told him that i was going to get an abortion. as much as i wanted a kid/family with him, him and i weren’t in a good spot in any way possible. it’s been very hard for me the past week to process the break up, but almost just as hard to process that i am getting an abortion. i truly wanted his kid. i know that this is the best decision for me and him both but i haven’t been able to come to terms with it. my abortion is scheduled for a week from today and as i stated, it’s going to be surgical. since the breakup i have lost all appetite and have lost 10+ pounds as someone that was already underweight. i am horrified to be put under sedation as this will be my first surgery, and i’m not sure at all how i am going to handle it. this really is what i want, i just fear it’s going to break me mentally even more than i am now.

Hi, I am playing throught animal well, and is wondering if I fucked up a bit. Spoilers ahead
I am at the part with the animals in the wheels that har moving the blocks in one direction or another. I got to the flamingo wheel and found the secret passages with the door and and chest. I assume the buttons in the same frame will open the door, but was not abel to get the the buttons with the flamingo briks moving.
I went back to the flamingo in the wheel, and while I was under it, it suddenly fell done. I got in to the other side and got the flame. However, not that the flamingo blocks is not moving, they are blocking the path to the two buttons.
So what I wan't to know, did I fuck up and missed my chanes to get the chest in that room, or will the flamingo come back at some point. I am scared to save untill i know

I already made a source for gameplay for Twitch but I can't go live or record because everytime I open OBS Steam stops the Gameplay and I can't get any footage or record anything because the game will always stop if I use another program.
