Unblock downloading on my pc ip

I believe I have some windows files corrupted. There is a cracked game I installed called Life is Strange 2, and whenever I Launch it, it appears in task manager as a background process for a couple of seconds then disappear without any error massage or anything.
Keep on mind that: - This problem only happens to this game. - I tried to disable my antivirus and update all my drivers using Driver Booster Pro. - I already have DirectX and vcredist Installed and Updated. - I copied the same game files to my friend's windows 10 pc and the game worked properly. - My device specs are: CPU: i5-12450H, RAM: 16 GB DDR4, GPU: Nvidia RTX 3050 Laptop, with Windows 11 Pro. - I downloaded a whole new windows version using their official site but in the process I choosed to keep files and apps.
If you have any idea on how to solve this problem please tell me, Thank you.

Hi, i bought a T-BAO T8 Mini PC to make it a homelab and learn about nertworking, since I barely know anything about it.
I installed Pi-hole (on Proxmox), changed my system settings to use it as DNS on the operating system, and it works as a DNS, meaning the "Total queries" goes up every time I visit a site, but no add is blocked, meaning "Queries Blocked" remains the same and the adds are shown in the web pages.
The most strange part is that if I use Brave Browser, that has add block by default, the "Queries Blocked" goes up.
In Linux I edited the /etc/resolv.conf leaving only the Pi-hole IP, to make sure there's no interference of other DNSs.
I tried it on Linux and Windows (I dual boot them), I tried it in Firefox, Chrome and Edge, and the problem remains. Any idea what's going on?
OBS: I working so I may take a while to answer.

Title. Has been a massive headache. WiFi on my phone is normal (500mbps) but Ethernet from router to my PC is shoddy like 40% of the time, my download goes to like 30-40 and latency is crappy. Both the coax and ethernet cable are brand new. My PC is completely up to date and my motherboard is also new, about 4 months old. Any ideas? Or just ISP screwing me?

I'm looking for a specific software for Windows i had 5 or 6 years ago for listening to the radio on PC. There were many pre-programmed radio stations from all around the globe, but i just can't find it after searching the web for hours, including various reddit posts. Sadly i lost the app when my harddrive broke years ago. Otherwise i could have tried to look for it in the files there.
The thing i remember the most was its icon, which consisted of something similar to one of these white speakers. Only one instead of a pair.
It was something like Radio Garden, only as a downloadable application, and i started using it when i started playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 but wanted to continue listening to various radio stations without having the game opened.
Help, or any hints really, would be very much appreciated.

HIi. I am having a major nostalgia moment and want to play Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure on my PC. I have downloaded an emulator before but I cannot seem to find this game. It was an old PS2 game I played as a kid. Any help? Not sure what emulator I would even need to run to make this happen.

My understanding was that even though they were the same version, you needed to buy the game on each platform. However, I noticed that I could download the game on Playstore and add my Microsoft account to play as normal. My question is, since I apparently have access to the android game because I have bought it on the Microsoft store, can someone buy the Google Playstore version (that is cheaper) and play on the PC?

Hi everyone, I saved up some money and really wanted to buy baldur’s gate 3 and dig in to that world but I am not sure that it will run smoothly on my pc specs so here it is, please give me your thoughts: I3-10100 Rx 5500 xt 4gb Ram 16 Installing the game on an HDD because my ssd is 120gb so I can’t download it on my ssd. I was wondering if the slow HDD mode would give me a stable experience with these specs, thanks in advance.

So i recently got into self hosting and all that, i have managed to do lots and learned lots, now i have a problem. So when i first started using nextcloud it was wierd i didnt use docker compose i only used docker, everything was a mess i didnt figure out how to do stuff. After a while i got everything working started with docker compose and others. i managed to host seafile, filebrowser, nextcloud, ownfile and probaly another. Everything works im using ubuntu server on a proxmox vm. though i have this one issue which is not game breaking its just very limiting. the reason i switch and tried so many hosting services was because i didnt manage to get over one problem even though how hard i look and i think it might be a problem on my network part. So when i upload and download for that matter on local ip its about as fast as i want it but i could be faster, though i think this is because of my internett speed 300 mbps or my usb 3.0 externall ssd. upload is about 450 mpbs i though download was always higher but i guess not, my router is connected via 10 gpbs fiber connection though it might actully be connected using wifi to thje fiber in some sort of way im not completely sure.
it download and uploads at about 30 mb/s which is ok and i can work with, though when i port forward and use a reverse proxy like nginx proxy manager web ui, i get like 10 mb/s which is not good considiring im planning on uploading files as big as 50 GB or more, download is even slower, im using a seagate external ssd with usb 3.0 i am using ethernet though it is connect to a wifi extender. this is mighty annoying and i have tuckeld with chunk size and its not helping. i tried to only port forward and not use proxy, same slow downlaod and upload i have a domain and everything. the pc im uplaodin and dowlnoad from has fast enough internett. it seems like the only time where speed is decreased is when i port forward local network is just fine. On my router i changed dns and i feel like i have done everything i can execpt for isp provider talk which i am not keen on doing. im using postgres, and it seems like every service once forwarded get limited to 10 mb/s though it slowly climbs up, takes a good 7 to 15 sec

Been playing RDR2 on PS5 for the last week or so. Continued my older playthrough and just got to chapter 4. Thing is, it's the PS4 Pro version, which is capped to 30 fps and has a weird checkboard 4k look. I've owned the game on PC since it's release in 2019, so I decided to download it on there and use somebody else's save file that is also at the start of Chapter 4.
Problem is, on the console version, it says I have to speak to the BR icons (forgot the name) and there's three of them in Saint Denis. On the PC version, these are not there, and instead I have missions in the camp from Hosea and I think Dutch. Does this save file skip much further ahead than I was? It claims to be the start of Chapter 4.
The other thing is, I'm wondering if this new save file will make much of a difference to my playthrough. My morality level on PS5 was around the midway mark, but the morality is very high on this save file, and I was told by my brother that this could have quite a big effect on the rest of the story.

So recently, while talking with a friend about Kingdom Hearts. i told her that i remember an old german documentary using Kingdom Hearts 1 music as its big highlight moment. talking about i went to look for it cause i remember having proof of it on my pc. but it wasnt there anymore, must have been on an old hard drive when i upgraded my pc many years ago.
but. after a lot of digging i did found the episode of the show it aired on.
unfortunately though, i cant find any stream, download or even a way to buy the episode. wayback machine did not help either. as the webpage that did allow for full episodes to watch again after they aired is running on flash.
so im asking for help to find the episode again.

In going through this sub, I think I’ve discovered that not all switches support VLANs. (Looking at you Ultra)
I’m moving into a new home and I want to design a network with multiple VLANs. In my office I will require a desktop PoE switch to provide two VLANs: one for my work lab and the default VLAN for my PC.
What’s the smallest PoE switch that can accommodate this?
EDITED to add: I need PoE output ports on my desktop. My lab will consist of a laptop and 2-4 VoIP phones at any given time.
While PoE input would be nice. The output for my phones are more important.

As the title says, I face swapped on a bunch of videos last night and downloaded the completed vids.
When I checked the downloads in my pc, 1 by 1, all of them have the audio, but no video. Just blank screen.
Why would this happen? If anyone has faced this, please share a solution

I am wondering if there is something that I am doing wrong with my stream. Currently I am not having trouble streaming my desktop at all but as soon as I start playing a game it will drop down to 0kbps. I ran an internet test and it says I am getting 500 mbps download and 12 mbps upload. I have tried lowering my graphics settings and limiting fps but to no avail. I have a ryzen 5 3600 and a RX6700XT in my pc. My settings currently are AMD HW H.264 as my video encoder and 6000 kbps as my bitrate. And yes I have tried x264 and that hasn't helped either. Anyone know what could be going on? Thanks!

Hi guys, I have a UDM Pro connected to a Fritzbox and set as exposed host. (Need the Fritzbox for Coax and landline) I noticed on Sunday that I wasn't able to download Apps from the App Store anymore while everything on the Appstore itself loads without issues. That alone was kinda weird imho but it gets weirder - Netflix is able to load the site and everything but streams play a few seconds and then buffer infinitely (and eventually throw errors), I am not able to reach my network controller anymore through unifi.ui.com (though accessing it using the local IP works) and downloading from some sites fails every few seconds due to ssl decryption errors (same with wget). For some reason though all of these issues only occur in the UDM Pros network. Using the Fritzbox directly (wifi and lan) works without any issues and for some reason even using a vpn (don't have a subscription that's easily replicable unfortunately but my uni has a vpn to access internal resources etc. which I've used) fixes those issues. I restarted/reseted everything I could (all switches, APs. UDM. FritzBox), tried different ports on the FritzBox and on the UDM Pro and also went through several OS versions but the only thing I learned aside from the fact that this seems to occur on multiple ver 3s as well as on 4.0.3 is, that even wget on the udm itself fails (I updated by pulling the binary onto my laptop, scping it onto the udm and updating via unifis ssh command) and updates/installations of unifi applications fail as well. According to the internet the decryption errors can happen when there's a lot of corrupted data so id think there's a faulty interface or something but ifconfig shows there are no rx/tx errors on any interface and none of these issues occur when using a vpn so maybe (hopefully) not?
I gotta be honest, this issue is really confusing to me and im kind of running out of stuff to test/troubleshoot so I was wondering if you guys maybe had some Ideas as to what could be causing this and if its even caused by the UDM itself or something else.

I bought a new pc right before this game was released. Then I saw all the reviews and didn’t download the game. It looks like it’s playable now, so I’m about to download, but I have some questions.

1. Theres a way I can just build whatever I want wherever I want on day one, right? Or do I have to start on one square and earn money and bigge better features?

1B. I think there’s a game option, where you need to be strategic, and I think there’s a free play where you have unlimited money and space. Is that correct? Why would anyone play the game when you can just build whatever you want right away? What’s the reward for “hard mode”?

1. Where are you getting the mods? How do you know which ones to get? Is there a limit to how many I can use at a time? Do they cost money?
   
2. Assuming I want all the useful mods, how much am I going to spend total?
   
3. Can you skip stuff? Like, I don’t want tons of busses or trams, I’d rather just start with a subway. Is that an option? Are there other features you have to work up to?
   

Any big questions I should be asking? I don’t want to spend a couple hundred bucks getting started if it’s just an exercise in patience.

I was working on my server trying to get a valheim server up and suddenly the shares are no longer broadcasted on the network. Cant see the server in windows network dialog and all my mapped drives are offline. I have also tried to connect using the tail scale ip but get an error. All this was working perfectly before not sure what could have caused this. Appreciate any help already rebooted and restarted both server and pc and also its not showing up for other pcs on the network .

Any time I look for design inspiration or farm layout ideas it’s always “Hey that’s cool- oh it’s modded never mind”.
Finally I KNOW the content is base game only!!
Anytime I suggest changes (I desperately want to be able to change the colour of the silos to match the rest of the farm!!!) I’m always met with “just use mods?”
Finally people who understand my pain without immediately dismissing it!!
I commented on a post recently saying how much I love the game and wish there was more content because I’m greedy and the main response was “just download SV Expansion”. I just deleted the comment when people started downvoting me for saying I play on switch.
I’m sad it’s become so severely “PC vs Non-PC” players. It always felt like a semi-welcoming community sub but I never felt I could speak my mind without PC players making me feel like the odd one out.

So I wanted to use 2 bluetooth headphones at the same time and downloading Virtual Audio Cable actually worked and fixed that problem for me. But I accidentally downloaded the 'trail' version. My plan was to uninstall the trail version and simply download the normal lite version so that I could use it without any problems. I uninstalled the trail version and started downloading the lite version. But quickly after that I was told the lite version couldn't be installed because of the still existing trail version. The things I have tried are:

• windows 'remove program'
• windows 'control panel' and 'uninstall a program'
• device manager and uninstalled every single Virtual Audio Cable related thing
• deleting the folder containing everything of the Virtual Audio Cable (Trail)

But when I for example look in the 'uninstall a program' section its like Virtual Audio Cable (trail) doesn't even exists. It doesn't show up anywhere. But when I try to download Virtual Audio Cable (lite) it gives me the error of the trail version still existing on my pc.
I don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes down to this stuff, but when I open folders and search for C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\vrtaucbl.sys I can actually see that it still exists. But I cant click on it / open it so I cant delete it. But it would solve the problem if I can somehow delete it right?

hi ! i am new to iphones and i wanted to know how to download either deezer or spotify premium (As long as the download music option is available) on my phone. I have a PC that i can use for sideloading but i need help with it because a lot of things ive read are already quite old. if possible, for free and no 7 day limitation, except i can extend it from my phone.

There are a lot of old posts all over about how to do this, but most have you downloading file apps and copying services over one at a time. This has become much easier than that, and can now be done almost entirely with the amazing "Fire Toolbox". Here's the steps I've gone through on both of my kid's tablets at this point. It should take you no more than an hour total, less if you're comfortable with what you're reading.
 

1. Download and Install Fire Toolbox on PC (Should also be linked in the Sidebar if this link ever dies).
2. Buy RocketApps ($2.50 - From Adult's Profile) and "Enable" it for the Kid's Profile. There IS a Free Option (AppStart) but it doesn't have a way to limit the kids from opening Any installed app on the device. Up to you.
3. Launch Fire Toolbox, Go Through the Setup Steps in the Fire Toolbox Link (Dev Mode, Etc.). Connect the Tablet and go through the Basic Setup EXCEPT for the "Google Services" bit.
4. Switch to the Kid's Profile (Can be done in the Fire Toolbox Program) and Install Google Services IN THE KIDS PROFILE (Using Fire Toolbox).
5. Log into "Google Play" Store. Sometimes it launches right away, sometimes you'll have to reboot and then find it by opening RocketApps and briefly Enabling it so that you can run it, just uncheck it afterwards.
6. Sideload YT Kids (Using Fire Toolbox, you can find and Install it all from within the Program on the Second Page of commands).
7. Launch RocketApps and Enable YT Kids. Then Login and Set it Up.

 
There you go. Your kids now have Youtube Kids (And any other Games / Apps you want to Download / Sideload from the Play Store, since only stuff from the Amazon App Store can be set up to show up in the Kid's Profile without it). And RocketApps is 100% Worth the $2.50. If you're unsure, you can use AppStart in place of RocketApps to make sure this all works, and then replace it with RocketApps when you're done without breaking anything.
I had issues on and off with the Play Store not always wanting to download things, which is why I suggest Sideloading it initially to skip any potential headaches. If you have the same issues, you can just sideload whatever you want using Fire Toolbox. It wasn't worth troubleshooting further as Sideloading works 100% of the time.
If something just jams up during the above process, just raze it all and start over. ;P You can uninstall the Google Services in the Fire Toolbox, if that gives you errors, just log into the adult profile, and uninstall any / all of the four Google Services there (Uninstall from All Profiles Option), and make sure you're Only installing them to the Kid's Profile. And at the WORST, you can factory reset your tablet completely, but I Really don't think you'll need to do all that.
