Mastering Django for Email Digests

Email has proven itself as an indispensable tool in the digital communication arsenal, particularly for web applications aiming to maintain an ongoing dialogue with their users. Among the plethora of functionalities that Django, a high-level Python web framework, offers, its capability to send email digests stands out. This feature allows developers to aggregate and send periodic updates, news, or notifications to their users, fostering a sense of community and engagement.
Integrating email digests into a Django project not only enhances user experience but also contributes to a structured approach in information dissemination. Whether it's a weekly roundup of blog posts, a monthly newsletter, or timely notifications, Django provides the scaffolding required to implement these functionalities efficiently. Through this, developers can tailor communication strategies that resonate well with their audience, ensuring that important content does not go unnoticed amidst the digital noise.

Unlocking Email Digests with Django

Email digests are a powerful tool for keeping users engaged and informed about the latest updates from websites or applications. By compiling and sending a summary of new content at regular intervals, they can significantly enhance the user experience. In the context of Django, a high-level Python web framework, creating an email digest system involves leveraging Django's robust email functionalities alongside its scheduling capabilities to automate the process.
The implementation of an email digest in Django not only requires understanding the framework's email backend but also necessitates a strategy for collecting and organizing the content to be included in the digest. This often involves querying the database for new or updated content within a specific timeframe and formatting this data into an email-friendly layout. As Django comes with built-in support for sending emails, developers can efficiently craft and dispatch email digests, thus keeping their user base up to date with minimal manual intervention.

cross-posted in tradepainters I acquired this giant box of paint samples, a fan deck, and a spiral-bound notebook with all the paint colors in it, and am wondering what the set is called. I'd love to get more of just the spiral-bound notebooks with all the colors for other years, if they make them! Do other companies have a product like that, the spiral bound one? This id Dunn-Edwards, 2003ish, I'd have to check. There's some sun fading on the spines of the larger swatch books, but other than that, it's super vibrant Thanks!

2024.05.06 01:27 IFreakingLoveOranges Coserl Full Pronouns Table + "to be" Verb

Here's everything you need to know about pronouns and verbs in Coserl.
First let's learn some basic facts about them:
With all that being said, let's take a look at table #1 using the verb ꓰꓢꓰꓠ (to be).
ꓡꓮꓠ ꓔꓮꓐꓡ ꓔꓮ ꓡꓮꓠ ꓑꓭꓰꓢ (The table of the present):
ꓡꓮꓠ ꓢꓰꓠꓖꓡꓮ ꓟꓮꓢꓗꓡꓮꓠ (the masculine singular) ꓡꓰꓠ ꓢꓰꓠꓖꓡꓰ ꓩꓮꓟꓰꓠꓰꓠ (the feminine singular) ꓡꓳꓠ ꓢꓰꓠꓖꓡꓳ ꓠꓴꓔꓲꓰꓘꓳꓠ (the neutral sigular) ꓡꓮꓠꓔ ꓝꓮꓟꓮ ꓟꓮꓢꓗꓡꓮꓠꓔ (the masculin plural) ꓡꓰꓠꓔ ꓝꓮꓟꓰ ꓩꓮꓟꓰꓠꓰꓠꓔ (the feminine plural) ꓡꓳꓠꓔ ꓝꓮꓟꓳ ꓠꓴꓔꓲꓰꓘꓳꓠ (the neutral plural)
ꓮꓡ ꓰꓢꓮ (I am) ꓰꓡ ꓰꓢꓰ (I am) ꓳꓡ ꓰꓢꓳ (I am) ꓮꓡꓔ ꓰꓢꓮꓔ (We are) ꓰꓡꓔ ꓰꓢꓰꓔ (We are) ꓳꓡꓔ ꓰꓢꓳꓔ (We are)
ꓙꓮꓲ ꓰꓢꓮꓲ (you are) ꓙꓰꓲ ꓰꓢꓰꓲ (you are) ꓙꓳꓲ ꓰꓢꓳꓲ (you are) ꓙꓮꓲꓔ ꓰꓢꓮꓲꓔ (you are) ꓙꓰꓲꓔ ꓰꓢꓰꓲꓔ (you are) ꓙꓳꓲꓔ ꓰꓢꓳꓲꓔ (you are)
ꓝꓲꓮ ꓰꓢꓲꓮ (he is) ꓝꓲꓰ ꓰꓢꓲꓰ (she is) ꓝꓲꓳ ꓰꓢꓲꓳ (it is) ꓝꓲꓮꓔ ꓰꓢꓲꓮꓔ (they are) ꓝꓲꓰꓔ ꓰꓢꓲꓰꓔ (they are) ꓝꓲꓳꓔ ꓰꓢꓲꓳꓔ (they are)
As you can see on the table, not only verbs change their shape based on their respective subject (like many other languages) but the pronouns themselves also do the same as their following verbs.
Another cool fact:
Now that we've learned the present form, let's take a look at table #2.
Lan tabl tá lan zie (The table of the past):
Lan sengelá mascelan (the masculine singular) Len sengelé femenen (the feminine singular) Lon sengeló nötieron (the neutral sigular) Lant jamá mascelant (the masculin plural) Lent jamé femenent (the feminine plural) Lont jamó nötieront (the neutral plural)
Als esas (I was) Els eses (I was) Ols esos (I was) Alst esast (We were) Elst esest (We were) Olst esost (We were)
Jais esais (you were) Jeis eseis (you were) Jois esois (you were) Jaist esaist (you were) Jeist eseist (you were) Joist esoist (you were)
Eias esias (he was) Eies esies (she was) Eios esios (it was) Eiast esiast (they were) Eiest esiest (they were) Eiost esiost (they were)
Once again as you can see, the Coserl grammar is pretty straightforward. In order to get the past tense form of a pair (Pronoun + Verb), you can simply use the "-s" suffix.
And last but not least, let's take a look at table #3.
Lan tabl tá len cetier (The table of the future):
Lan sengelá mascelan (the masculine singular) Len sengelé femenen (the feminine singular) Lon sengeló nötieron (the neutral sigular) Lant jamá mascelant (the masculin plural) Lent jamé femenent (the feminine plural) Lont jamó nötieront (the neutral plural)
Alc esac (I will be) Elc esec (I will be) Olc esoc (I will be) Alct esact (We will be) Elct esect (We will be) Olct esoct (We will be)
Jaic esaic (you will be) Jeic eseic (you will be) Joic esoic (you will be) Jaict esaict (you will be) Jeict eseict (you will be) Joict esoict (you will be)
Eiac esiac (he will be) Eiec esiec (she will be) Eioc esioc (it will be) Eiact esiact (they will be) Eiect esiect (they will be) Eioct esioct (they will be)
Similarly to the previous table, you can use suffixes (the "-c" suffix in this case) to get the future tense of a pair.
And that's pretty much it!

2024.04.25 10:24 RamistaR Colossus Progression Challenge : Taskmaster

Colossus Progression Challenge : Taskmaster
Cards unlocked for defeating Absorbing Man : Useless (so far) : Goliath, War Machine, Earth's Mightiest Heroes Situational : Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Sky-Cycle Good with most heroes : Black Knight, U.S. Agent, Team Training, Ready For Action High Synergy with Colossus :
Not much to boost Colossus in this batch. Colossus cannot use Avengers locked healing cards. So "Ready For Action" can actually be interesting for non-avengers hero.
Aggression : rushing the villain is so easy. Even Shadow of the past cannot slow you down.
Justice : this is the opposite of aggression. You can take your time to set up. With that said, Taskmaster does not have that much Hit Points. So it is still pretty quick.
Leadership : For once I actually use leadership cards in order to keep Shadowcat alive the whole time.
Protection : this is the only aspect where you can come out almost undamaged. It's the only game where I did not draw Shadowcat, but Taskmaster dropped before I needed to start thwarting.
Overall Match up : First thing first, I had to double check the official ruling for Taskmaster forced response. Turns out you have to deal damage to Colossus BEFORE gaining a tough card. Sometime FFG's rules work out in your favor XD Since you get to keep your tough, you can do the now classic strategy of confuse-stun locking the villain the entire game. Not gonna lie this is getting a bit old but it is so efficient in true solo. As you can see above, I never thwarted Hydra Patrol. Shadowcat is the MVP of this scenario. Between her thwarting the main scheme and confuse cards, you can go into alter-ego every turn. And never thwart Hydra Patrol. You should definitely mulligan to get her. Taskmaster has no cards that can kill Shadowcat. The biggest risk is that he can make you discard her from hand or the deck. Then you can just grab her back with your alter-ego response. The game is so quick, you probably don't need to remove Taskmaster's upgrade, even his retaliating Shield. The main scheme's threat target is very high, you can choose "threat" each time when resolving the main scheme's forced response. Taskmaster is super easy with Colossus. There really is no danger as long as you get Shadowcat. Even turns with 3 encounter cards are easy to deal with. The only downside is that you probably don't have the thwarting power to free the hostage allies.

2024.04.17 23:46 kingkmke21 NKD! Knife 2 of 5 arrived.

My first time ordering from GPKnives and I bought the REX45 Manix 2. This is my first time using this steel which I've heard is similar to M4. Either way, I'm loving this thing. The spring his pretty hard to pull down when closing. Is that normal on new Manix 2s?
