One of my RPG design buddies (Neil Litherland) has a youtube channel and he's getting close to the 3000 hours mark to reach monetizing but he's not quite there yet.
Give a listen to this and help him reach that goal in the process. It's a pretty no nonsense video from someone else who is a reasonably established as not a rich celebrity creator, but the more realistic "I worked into this from the ground up" style of creator. He's been at it for over 10 years and is a real worker if you look at his DriveThru Page (and he appears in a lot of other games credits).
He has a whole series on the business side of TTRPGs, but I'm just throwing this one out as it's likely applicable content to many newer designers. This is a legit worker in the industry.

Se que el título sonará raro pero esperen a leer esta historia, actualmente tengo 14 años (H), mi papá murió a finales de 2022 por COVID, esta noticia fue devastadora, en especial para mi mamá, pasamos de ser 5 en la familia a ser 4, aquí es donde empieza lo bueno, al principio de esta tragedia, la familia de mi papá estuvo muy unida a nosotros, de echo hay un primo de mi papá que es vecino nuestro, el al principio no regalaba comida agua, y hasta nos regalo un timbre, pero las cosas se complicaron con la parte correspondiente del dinero de mi papá, este tipo vamos a decirle “José”, al principio estuvo de parte de mi mamá, el la ayudo a planear algunas cosas, pero algo que realmente afectó y alargó esta batalla financiera fue maria (nombre falso) maria al parecer tiene problemas psicológicos y quiso quedarse con la mayoría de dinero, obviamente mi mamá y José no iban a permitir eso, entonces durante una de las reuniones de los abogados fue José, pero en ves de ayudar a mi mamá según lo planeado, empezó a cobrarnos todo lo que nos avía regalado, recuerdan el timbre y la comida?, bueno eso nos cobro, para ese entonces yo tenía 11-12 años, al principio no entendí por que mi mamá se avía distanciado de José, pues el tiene 2 hijos, y empezó q decir que el en realidad tenía 5 (ya que yo tengo 2 hermanos uno de 8 y otro de 5), como decía, yo no entendí el por qué de la situación, para continuar esta historia tengo que introducir a mis 5 tías y a mi abuela de parte de mi papá, ellas también nos “querían mucho” a lo cual mis hermanos y yo las amábamos, pero poco a poco de fueron alejando, algo que a mi mamá y al igual que a mi y a mis hermanos nos afectó debido a que son la familia de mi papá, pero seguimos a delante sin darle importancia a eso, pero unos meses después olvido de visita sorpresa una “amiga” de mi papá, a saludarnos y ver cómo estábamos, pero aquí se complica el asunto, mi mamá le avía preguntado que, qué hacía aqui, y ella respondió que estaba en la casa DE JOSÉ esto a mi mamá loa sorprendió por que ellas ya sabían lo que estaba pasando, entonces ella nos invita a pasar a mi y a mis hermanos y cuando veo en la casa estaba una de mis tías (para este punto tengo que explicar que mis tías están divididas en países, tengo una tía aquí, que esa será tía 1, en el país donde vivo, 2 en Italia, y una en Peru donde también estaba mi abuela), entonces me doy cuenta de que estaba mi tía 1, en ese momento no entendía la situación y no me importo que ella estuviera ahí, pero ya a ella de le veía la cara de preocupación, debido a que ella ya sabía los problemas anteriores, mi mamá simplemente nos dijo que nos devolviéramos por que no nos avían invitando, aquí hay un salto de tiempo de 2 meses, para este punto yo ya me avía enterado de la situación inicial, mi tía 1 nos dice que si queremos ir a la casa de mi abuela que avía venido de Perú, yo ya para este punto no las quería ver, pero como mis hermanos si, no tuve de otra más que ir, después de la reunión, a mi me llevaron a mi casa, por que mis hermanos se quisieron quedar, en el camino a mi casa sale el tema de mi papá, y yo me desahogo con ella, le pregunto que si estaba loca por siquiera juntarse con José, ella me dijo que era por que nuestro primito necesitaba una revisión en los ojos y necesitaba que el lo ayudara ya que es oftalmólogo, y yo pensé, de que te va a ayudar un oftalmólogos tomando cervezas?, bueno al caso es que le dije que ella no sabía la situación,(cosa que es mentira por que mi mamá me mostró los chats donde ella le contaba la situación), yo para ese punto estaba muy molesto, ya que era un golpe bajo para mi orgullo que ella me intentara engañar como a un niño pequeño teniendo 12 años, simplemente dije que ya no las quería ver más y que las odiaba, después de eso no pasó nada más relevante, se fue mi abuela, después volvió tuve que soportar verles las caras y ya, y ahora estamos aquí, ya paré este entonces a mi se me avía olvidado su existencia lo cual me avía dado una paz mental muy grande, pero hace unas semanas, vino el esposo de la tía que está en Italia, dijo que para que conociera a mis hermanitos ya que el no los conocía, cuando me entere de esto volvieron todos esos recuerdos malos, no saben la cantidad de pensamientos inhumanos que tuve q con esas personas, mi voz no fue escuchada y me sentía humillado, y cuando me enteré de esto me dio un ataque de aciedad (cosa que yo pienso que es de maricos) entonces ya a pasado un tiempo de esto pero estoy mentalmente acabado se que no van a parar de intentar de ponerse en contacto conmigo y eso me lastima más ya e bloqueado a 2 de mis tías y a mi abuela, no van a parar de intentarlo, y ya no puedo más, y me gustaría saber de alguien que a pasado por una situación similar para que me de algún cosejo por favor necesito ayuda/consejo
