- A: In a word- excellent. Let me start by pointing out our 2023 results, which we reported last month. First, SuperCom posted 5-year-record revenues of $26.6 million, a 51% increase year-over-year that contributed to EBITDA of $4.8 million, a 2350% increase over the prior period. That's not all.
- Our Gross Profit surged 60% year-over-year to $10.2 million, which resulted, in part, from a strong Q4 that delivered $5.7 million, generated EBITDA of $1.1 million, and EPS of $0.15. That's excellent news from a new historical perspective. However, I wanted to highlight that first because we are also off to a great start in 2024.
- Our subsidiary, Leaders in Community Alternatives (LCA), secured a new electronic monitoring (EM) contract with an established California services provider in the judicial sector worth about $2 million. We also added additional revenue-generating business in Canada and another new EM contract in California.
- On Shareholder value
- As we continue highlighting progress, it can happen faster than many expect, bringing market cap valuation more in line with our operating performance. We had to go through a similar process of education and showing consistent performance to help the investment community become aware of the intrinsic value of another business unit of ours from 2012 to 2014, and accordingly, the stock price appreciated by over 2000% in that period.

Was tossing and turning all night. Couldn’t switch my mind off, tried breathing techniques, sleep stories and so on. Ended up with a bit less than 3h of sleep last night and woke up feeling ok, but am crashing now.
Luckily, I was able to move meetings. I teach, so wouldn’t have been able to deliver a good lesson. I was honest with my students and was able to reschedule my lessons.
However, now I’m feeling super tired, but kind of alert and can’t sleep or rest. So that little annoying voice in my head is now telling me that I have all day and I should get a drink, it’ll help me sleep. It won’t…I know and I won’t get one, it’s just crazy to me. Also, randomly craving a cigarette and haven’t done so in ages (when sober). I think with a lack of sleep the subconscious has more power, because I’m too tired to fight it.
So am just going to sit here in my discomfort and ride it out. If I don’t do it now, it’s only going to get worse.

Was tossing and turning all night. Couldn’t switch my mind off, tried breathing techniques, sleep stories and so on. Ended up with a bit less than 3h of sleep last night and woke up feeling ok, but am crashing now.
Luckily, I was able to move meetings. I teach, so wouldn’t have been able to deliver a good lesson. I was honest with my students and was able to reschedule my lessons.
However, now I’m feeling super tired, but kind of alert and can’t sleep or rest. So that little annoying voice in my head is now telling me that I have all day and I should get a drink, it’ll help me sleep. It won’t…I know and I won’t get one, it’s just crazy to me. Well I'm tired of the lighters I have going on. Either the fuel is all gone or the flint just keeps working (breaking the wheel and spring apart and putting them back on doesn't work). Been able to refuel a few BIC lighters (and a long one) with some of the butane I have but been unable to successfully do any more, even the torches I have. Don't really want to keep buying butane either. Plus electric lighters are considered healthier since they don't use the butane or a flame (meaning less chemicals being inhaled or put into the air).

Sure it's healthier but at that point you're just lighting two things (whatever you're lighting the wick with, which brings me back to the question about a rechargeable lighter, and the wick itself). Maybe one day if I have my own house, smoke room with stationary bongs, etc but at that point I'm better off just getting a vaporizer like a volcano lol.
Anyway just wondering about your suggestions? Just looking into it, been thinking about it for awhile but forgot all about them until recently. There's a lot of different information and results on Google too, which I'm also looking on. Just thought it would be a good discussion for here too to get a more personalized recommendation. Thanks.

I wasn’t planning on posting anything about this because it feels very minor compared to what I’ve read on this sub, but I figured someone out there would appreciate hearing about this stuff. I’m going to break it up into a backstory, what I was told growing up, and finally my personal experiences with the house. This is just to hopefully make it more legible. edited 3-4x for legibility I lost count
Backstory:
My Mom owns this house my Grandpa built like 70-80 years ago. It’s mostly unchanged from the original build (as in the inside is quite retro, but also falling apart a little bit). I lived there for a few years when I was a baby/toddler, but I don’t remember very much of that. My friends were always creeped out by this place when I was a kid. Otherwise,I grew up with the understanding that there were spirits in the home, but never spent much time there until a couple years ago, when I moved into the basement with my then boyfriend for around a year.
Stories I heard as a kid:
Chief:
Growing up my parents told me stories of how the house was built on native land (very possible based on where we live but I have never verified) and how they’d seen instances of a man dressed in Native American Chief’s attire from time to time. My Dad claimed he saw this man outside the house and that he felt like a kind presence.
Pumpkin:
My Mom had an orange cat named Pumpkin before I was born. Pumpkin was a good cat that my Mom rescued, as well as an outdoor cat, which was the typical fashion at the time. Pumpkin tragically passed due to some unpleasantness with a neighbour (sparing you all the details, only including this because ik traumatic deaths can sometimes be related to supernatural happenings). After Pumpkin passed my Mom swore she would hear and sense him around the house at times. At one point, my Dad felt the presence of a cat walking on him while he was in bed.
The weirdest Pumpkin related happening was this: a few years after Pumpkins passing, my Mom was painting the walls in what would one day become my playroom (the most active room in the house). Once she’d finished with one of the walls she left the room for a moment. When she returned a little while later, she found the entire freshly painted wall covered in orange cat hair.
The playroom:
this room gets an entry of its own because it always just had weird vibes while I was growing up. It’s super cold, this is probably to do with the DIY everything, but it adds to the spook factor. I have never liked being in there alone for very long. My Mom claims to have seen shadow figures moving to and from this door, which I believe. Toys with battery packs left in this room would randomly activate. At one point two of my toys awoke my Mom in the middle of the night because they were having a ‘conversation’ of sorts, like one activated the other and they were bouncing back and forth. (I think they were electronic care bears? I can’t remember what toy it was now - if there’s interest I’ll bug my mom to see if she remembers it) This alone is not so strange. What was very odd is that due to these toy’s “repeat after me” nature, my Mom habitually turned them off before bed. This one I vaguely remember, because my Mom was super creeped out by it and told me about it in the morning.
My experiences:
OK. so, having lived there a year, I did not see any Native Chiefs, orange cats, or shadow figures. However, other than a general feeling of not being alone, three instances come to mind.

This one’s short and sweet, while my boyfriend and I were watching a movie one time, we heard a little kid giggle in the room with us. I asked him “did you hear that” and he was like “yeah but that was in the movie” so we rewound the movie and there was no such giggle.

I'll start from the beginning. 30, Male, Living in Australia. Smoked 15 cigarettes per day for the last 15 years but otherwise have always been quite fit. 5'11 and 80kg.
In 2016 we had a an event called 'thunderstorm ashtma', which was basically a huge storm that flung high amounts of pollen and othwr allergens all around the place, it was all over the news and heaps of asthma sufferers had really bad attacks and flare ups. That night i woke up in the middle of the night with sleep paralysis. I couldn't move, talk or breath. Was extremely scary.
Ever since that day my lungs have never been the same. For the next few years I'd always get extremely out of breath on exertion, especially with sex or intense cardio (i could always lift weights no issues). I thought that maybe i was just unfit seeing as i smoked and drank every weekend at that point in time.
Fast forward to Covid, i caught the delta variant and got so sick i swear i nearly died. I was so out of breath that i passed out, multiple times. I'd remember waking up in random rooms of my house or on the kitchen floor etc.
That was a long recovery. I couldn't smell anything for 5+ months, and my lungs were just fucked daily. I was short of breath at rest, 24/7 for months.
This was 2022. I got a bunch of scans and tests done. CT scan said mild airway inflammation but nothing else concerning. Spiro test showed fev1/fvc 83%. Xray showed 'hyperinflated lung'. Yet after all these tests and seeing a lung specialist and multiple GP's, they all told me i need to quit smoking and try getting fit, and completely dismissed me, acting as if there was no issue at hand.
About a year later my breathing was kind of better. I was still short of breath 24/7 but I'd got used to it, it wasn't debilitating, but definitely far from comfortable. I just accepted that this was my life forever.
I recently ended up in hospital because my shortness of breath got so bad one day out of nowhere, it was extremely laboured breathing, i had to focus all my energy on each and every breathe. They gave me another CT scan
I decided to take the results to a private specialist rather than a bulk billed public one (I've had nothing but bad experiences with public specialist now) and this new specialist bless his soul, looked at me and said 'you have asthma, lets fix you up'.
He prescribed me with budesonide & Formoterol inhalers on Monday (now Wednesday, 2 days later) and WOW. I can fucking breath again. What the hell!! He told me it may take up to a month to start making a difference but only 2 days in i feel like a new person. I ran a kilometre on the treadmill today WITH EASE, when typically I'd get about 300 meters and have to stop for a minute to catch up. I could have kept running too but i didn't want to overdo it.
Even so i am so grateful that i finally have a diagnosis and treatment for 8 years of shortness of breathe, i am super fucking with the other 6 or 7 health 'professionals' i saw earlier. I feel like the system failed me untill now. As simple as a inhaler and I'm back feeling better than ever.
I'm booked in for another consultation, spiro test and CT scan in 3 months to see how my lungs are going. I am super grateful for this medication, i can't remember breathing this well since i was in my early 20s! I'm just going about my day without shortness of breath, is this how all normal people live? Lmao

My mother has always been an alcoholic and codependent on men her whole life (Grey Goose Vodka being her drink of chose). Every man she had chosen including my father were all physically and mentally abusive to her. I always gave her grace. Always forgave her for treating me less than her own flesh and blood. Despite that though, I continued to give her the benefit of the doubt and loved her anyways. I always thought that maybe she loved me and didn’t know how to show it. Now as an adult in my late 20s, I was just starting to detach from her emotionally thinking that it was best for me to finally move on and break free from her abuse.
Fast forward to two months ago:
My mom had gotten super drunk and had been having arguments/ fights with my current step-dad. Well something happened and she suffered a massive head trauma to the brain. A Careflight helicopter had to get her from her house. She had no pulse and they worked on her the entire way to the hospital. Their home actually became a potential crime scene because they saw she had fucking bruises all over her body. My stepfather is under investigation for possibly causing the injury. It is confirmed he has physically abused both by kicking her and punching her on her arms and legs but there is not hard evidence that he caused the brain injury.
My mom had to undergo not one but two brain surgeries because the head trauma had caused intense bleeding in her brain and they had found fractures of her skull in her brain. They had these two brain tubes that went straight into her head to drain the loose blood out. She was like that for two weeks. The doctors said she was lucky to be alive. They also said that they believed my step-father did it because there was no way a person could cause that themselves.

During her stay at the hospital, my step-father wasn’t allowed to see her at the hospital. All the doctors in that hospital that worked on her case said they believed he did it. He had to have an armed guard with him during visitation.
Unfortunately, before she could be admitted to the new rehab facility, the Director of the facility said the only way they will take her in is if I agreed to let my step-father have free rein to come and go as he pleases because they don’t have the security staff to escort him and he is not technically convicted yet. I reluctantly agreed because what other choice did I have? She had to have rehab.
Well, my step-father has been with her now the entire time she has been in rehab. Brainwashing her into believing he didn’t do it (because she doesn’t remember how the accident happened). She has admitted several times he had hit her but her memory is so fragile that she doesn’t remember admitting his abuse to the doctors. That then told me about it. (They still won’t do anything about it ironically)

I have learned that there are just bad people in this world. Even those that are supposed to love you the most. My grandmother can no longer visit because she was borrowing my mom's car (which she was fine with at first) then my stepfather went to where my grandmother lives and stole the care back without my grandmother knowing (he had a spare key). Her purse was still in the car because she was going to run some errands and had left it. He drove off and when my grandmother came back she had no car and her purse was stolen. He must have had a friend or one of his sons drive the car that my step-father was in for him to have driven it off. The next day I found out about it, he told me to go get her purse from the car and return it to her myself.
This rehab facility let my stepfather run around and do whatever he wanted. Now he's calling all the shots and brainwashing her to believe that nobody is on her side but him, while simultaneously driving away all her loved ones.
The investigator doesn’t know if they have enough evidence to support his conviction but it may be months or years if ever that happens. All the while, my mother is blind to anything other than my stepfather giving her a toxic relationship of codependency and abuse. She is willing to allow her husband to kick me out of her rehab.
I am done overextending my love and time on the worst people on planet earth. It doesn’t make it any less painful as it is my mother but a mother who has been the most selfish person imaginable. I have learned that there are just bad people in this world. Even those that are supposed to love you the most. And I can break the chain by starting a family of my own one day and give my children the love and attention they deserve unconditionally.

So my mother (60) has always had a flair for dramatics and will convince herself of things that are just not true, and of course her brothers (my uncles) think it’s hilarious and will get her worked up even more, while making fun of her for being so gullible behind her back. I cut her out of my life 4 years ago. We are in Michigan. Someone I trust in the family came to me with concerns that my mother may lie to try to get conservatorship over me.
Here is what I know. Her current belief is that I am an unemployed alcoholic living in my car and being taken advantage of by evil men from the political party that she hates. This is not true. I have a place, pay my bills and had a full-time job last time we spoke. I did leave that job but I also returned to school full time on GI Bill, which includes a stipend for living expenses, and found a sweet part-time job, in an air conditioned office, on campus. As far as I know she has no idea I am back in school and I haven’t told anyone in my family, even the ones I trust, what is going on in my life.
Problem is that she lost her job of over 20 years during a mass lay off sometime since we last spoke. These new coworkers haven’t known her long enough to recognize how she doesn’t keep her stories straight or how she flip-flops things around. Basically she has led everyone she works with to believe I am only in my early-mid 20’s and haven’t quite finished my “teenage rebellion phase”, and she is a good mommy who just wants to save her baby from the evil political party.
They have all been “helping her with “research””, and believe because I have a disability rating from the VA, it means I am mentally incompetent. It does not at all mean that. Now I am positive that none of them actually understand how a VA disability rating actually works, my mother likely lied to them about it. Her new friends believe she can have me declared incompetent, force me to live with her for monitoring, and finally take control of my finances thus getting control of my disability payments. I have an 80 rating which is currently just under $2000 a month.
My concern isn’t that my mother could prove I am incompetent but it’s that she could use court proceedings to get a hold of my address, school, or work place. I guess my question is about rules of discovery when it comes to conservatorship cases. Can my mother or any lawyer willing to take her case on actually get ahold of my personal info I don’t want her to have?
If I provide courts with documents proving my competence and ability to care for myself, do I have the right to ask the court to seal or redact any information or documents with info I don’t want her getting? She sabotaged me going to college around 20 years ago and I don’t want to go through that again. I am assuming that the first person I would ever have to deal with would be a social worker, and I want to know if I have any legal recourse to prevent the social worker from sharing my info with my mother?

See if your college has some kind of free legal aid service they can direct you to, and explain this to them. They might be able to point you in the direction to get low cost or free legal services so an attorney can send your mother a cease and desist letter along with filing for a restraining order in such a manner as to not disclose your current whereabouts.
They might also have other ideas that will curtail any attempt by her to try to put a conservatorship in place.

Not a lawyer, but they pay me a shit ton of money to handle stuff like this as a private investigator. Here's my take.
Yes. Her lawyer will hire an investigator to find all of your information. They will pay online databrokers for your file and they will get WAY more than your address. (Everything. They will get everything. If you fucked up and said that thought you didn't want people knowing about, they will find that out.)
Any of that information that can then be found on Google is a public record since it's already on the public Internet. Your address is almost certainly among that data.
No court can sanction public information. Even if they could, the internet is forever and it's already out there.
So, bad news there. The good news is that you're a grown ass woman and the courts are not going to give her a conservatorship just because you have PTSD. You are in no danger of anything other than your mom showing up on your doorstep unannounced.

Backstory: Mother wanted me declared incompetent to gain control of me and my veteran disability payments.
So I talked with another family member who confirmed what the first said. Everyone is angry because I wasn’t suppose to find out what happened because “they were handling it”. I refused to tell who told me, which is causing more anger but whatever. So this situation had resolved itself last week. My mother was talking a big game about how she was calling lawyers and Adult Protective Services. After a few days she started trashing on all lawyers and saying that APS was wasting taxpayer dollars.
Apparently she has forgotten all about this whole mess. Her job got a new summer internet and my mother is obsessed. Every conversation anyone has with her is about this guy. My poor grandma has to have no less than a one hour conversation with my mother everyday about this guy. The guy comes from a lot of money, which in the end was what I think she wanted with me. This guy just turned 20 and my mother is 60.

If I had a nickel for everytime I heard of someone's mom trying to force their 100% VA disabled veteran son or daughter to live with them by declaring them incompetent for self care, I'd have about 25 to 30 cents. It's just weird that it's happened that many times, and it's sad. Stay away from her, and thank you for your service!

TLDR of my previous post was that my mother wanted to have me declared incompetent so she could get control of my veteran disability payments and force me to come live with her. I went no contact like 4 years ago. Her plan was to make up wild stories about me and it didn’t go her way. Now she is obsessed with this new intern at her job that comes from money, and seems to have forgotten all about her plan.
I was able to squeeze in meeting with the social worker who works at my VA clinic. I gave her the run down and even showed her my two previous posts. She thought it was kinda funny. She informed me that if a state SW were to be informed of a veteran in a need they would reach out to the VA and she would likely be a first point of contact.
She said that no one from the county or state has contacted her about me yet, but she would make a note. Apparently, the whole Britney Spears conservatorship has made a lot of people think it’s super easy to get conservatorships. She said some people think they will get paid a lot of money to do it. Her best guess is that if my mother did call, it was explained to her how complex the process is and that I would be guided to the VA to receive treatment first, before declaring me incompetent. She did agree with many of the comments that said my mother could find me pretty easily if she really wanted to.
The SW use to work at the state office and while she didn’t work at adult protective services but she had friends and coworkers who did. Money seemed to her to be a really big factor in how hard people fought to get conservatorship. She was surprisingly compassionate towards my mother and said sometimes parents just get worried and worry makes people do stupid things. She said some parents have a hard time adjusting to their children becoming adults and moving out.
Sometimes it’s because they are losing child support, or they’re losing the person who did all the chores, or because they just don’t want to face reality that their baby grew up. And these parents will lash out at the world instead of accepting the truth. She told me about a case a friend of hers had where the parents of an adult woman who had moved out couldn’t face reality. Her parents had been relying on her to do all the housework and raise her brothers. With her gone, everything fell apart at home.
These parents blamed their daughter who had moved out instead of taking responsibility for their own lives Her friend was so stressed by the case because she got yelled at by the parents almost daily about how the state needed to force their daughter to move back in with them. They never got their wish and almost lost their other kids. A grandparent found out what was happening and stepped up to set the parents straight.
Someone had messaged me saying my post was blowing up on social media and I went looking for it and couldn’t find it. They pointed out my family could see it, but I’ve decided I don’t care if they do.
So basically, if my mother really wants to find me she can, but the conservatorship isn’t that easy to get, and I know my mother well enough to know she doesn’t have the patience, or money needed to pursue this anymore. Also there seems to be a lot of rules surrounding conservatorship that I don’t think my mother would have liked following. So I should be good for a while.

You should still remain in No Contact with your mom. This will still make it difficult to gain conservatorship over you. I also don't think the VA hospital will pronounce you incompetent at all unless you lost limbs or went into a vegetative state from a concussive blast, in addition 100% Disabled ≠ Incompetent to manage youre own life. Hopefully, the VA will become an advocacy group for you, im also pretty sure the VA offers lawyers to their veterans. You can ask about that if your mom steps out of line.

OOP: I just checked and they don’t. But, silly me forgot, the VA clinic in my city has a social worker on site. I used her once for a medical power of attorney. But I bet she could either help me herself or get me to the right resource.

OOP: How likely are lawyers and private investigators to take on someone without the ability to pay. Do they have the ability to check credit scores. My mother is terrible with money. My brother confessed to me that she “sold the house” she bought with her third husband a little while after their divorce. By brother insinuated that she was in a bad way with money. I know that when I was 20 and she was 40, I had a better credit score than her. I went to buy a used car and she said she would have to co-sign cuz I was too young to have a good credit score. Turned out I got a better rate without her co-signing. Makes me wonder how bad someone’s credit has to be that you are detrimental to a loan as a co-signer.

Hey all. I really cant talk about this to anyone without hurting her; so sit down this is a doozey. Needless to say I have not so great mental health, in high school I was in a pretty bad emotionally abusive relationship, I was pretty badly abused and pushed everyone I knew away and was in a pretty much severe depression and severe anxiety for around 6 years, I assumed one day I would sleep it off, and think normal but that never happened.
Anyways I get to college and really dont put myself out there to meet anyone else. Come to my senior year and my grades are pretty good, but this is when I(21M) meet her(19F), and I think shes gorgeous. I eventually work the effort to talk to her, and we become ok friends for about a week or so. During this time she would always message me and one time we stayed up until 2am in the university rec room just talking. This felt pretty damn good, for once it felt like somebody actually wanted to know about me, during this time she even looked up my house address and parents facebook without me even telling her their names, anyways a few days or aobut a week later she says shes going on a trip to visit her BF, I was devastated and cried, she says "that must be a punch in the balls, you had me mindfucked there for a while though, being in a LDR your always looking for something new etc" "i always had this mindset that this guy is great but I gotta tell him i have a boyfriend etc", even when I asked about her bio once(this is all on me however, I should of asked, I cried for other unhappy personal reasons aswell). It probably should of ended there.
But it didnt the next day I ask if she was okay if we were still friends and she says yes, she apologizes for not telling me sooner. We become pretty great friends, eventually we tell each other about pretty personal secrets, I tell her my high school experience, I tell her things I have never told anyone else in my life, like my suicide attempt in high school, she helps me explore some things about me like my sexuality, she even puts makeup on me which I love, and she reveals she also did not have the greatest high school experience and she has self harm scars, she later tells she SHs since she has a pattern of cheating in relationships; this only makes me feel more like a piece of shit and youll find out later. I genuinely for the first time in my life feel a purely platonic connection with someone. The nights where we sat by the pond for hours just tlaking about movies and tv shows filled my soul with so much warmth, I loved these moments I truly developed a platonic connection with her and cared so much about her. Shes in a LDR with this guy who I dont know(she later says she never brings him up because it makes me sad and I look away(should of ended then)), we begin hanging out quite regularly, I do some things I shouldnt have done at this time, I noticed she vapes and smokes so I begin to buy her vapes(she never asked me to), and I begin to vape and smoke cigarettes, she never asked me to, looking back this should not have happened, but I genuinely enjoyed seeing her happy and talking to her. She used to always say with the vapes "Now I have a reason to talk to you", why? Why would you need a reason to talk to your friend? It only made me want to buy them more.
Things start getting bad and she even mentions at this point shes likely emotionally cheating with me, which only scares me; that any day any moment any time this person who I genuinely enjoy and is my best friend could have to cut all contact with me, my mental health becomes absolutely horrendous due to this and this was always a very scary fear I had throughout all this,
I even tell her at one point it feels like im on a seesaw and im stuck and have to constantly battle catching feelings and keeping my only close friend. If i really cared about her it should of ended here, but it didnt, I should of stopped it. She begins to touch me, relativelly platonically(?)(Asking to bite me, biting me, rubbing my chest and carresing my arms) and sharing food, at first I sit there and dont touch back and sit there; I dont want to hurt her. Why would I hurt someone I care about? After a while I call her out on this and say like why are you touching me, I really cant touch back she says something along the lines of "I think im using you as a replacement for the lack of attention in a LDR", she later says she thought about it and I cant provide that for her and shes just showing her affection, but this continues, what was I doing wrong? Why cant I provide that?
Eventually I convince myself its after alot of weeks that its platonic and I touch back with the same things the arm on the shoulder, the shoulder rubbing etc. We would have smokes together roughly every night which would usually be hidden in a stair enclave where we would hug each other etc. One of her responses during this time when I mentioned how bad it would look if somebody saw us doing this she said "It would be worse for you"?? How would it be worse for someone who is not known to be in a relationship?? My self esteem was the lowest it has ever been in its life, I told myself that perhaps one day things would somehow magically change. Someone finally seemed to really like me?
Eventually as you could imagine things escalate, this involves her sitting on my lap once(forward facing, saying inapprioate things etc) in her room, her letting me rub her thighs and do her hair and rub her feet and bare legs. I should of cut contact but she was the only person who knew me, and understood me in my life. I didnt want to hurt her, I didnt want to hurt myself, but I did both. The big event happens just before Christmas, we go out and we cuddle for a while in the backseat of my car where she asked if we could cuddle in the backseat, then we head back, while in the car prior she shows me lewds on her phone(I showed her a lewd of mine prior), we both get buzzed then we go out to the pond and were looking in each others eyes holding each other and she asked to kiss my cheek, I say sure, she kisses my cheek and my chin just below my lips, which makes me feel euphoric then says "You know it would still be platonic if I let you kiss me, then I wouldnt actually be kissing you",
I wanted to so very bad, I wanted to with my whole being, I lean in, lean out before eventually saying "you have a boyfriend, If I kiss you your going to hurt yourself and I dont want to hurt you", she says "wow you have more morals than I do", "must be because your older etc" and tries to move on from it fast and dance with me, well I emotionally break the fuck down like you've HURT yourself because of this for fuck sake, she says "I didnt want to kiss you, I love my boyfriend, even if I broke up I wouldnt want to ever date you, you have too much baggage", "if we kissed I would block you and stop talking to you", the person who just asked me to kiss them, the person who has been biting me and touching me for weeks wouldnt even date me? Would block me if i did what she told me to do??? This absolutely destroyed me. I didnt know what to think. I basically had to yell at her and ask her "Why did you just try to kiss me." anyways this ends with both of us crying, her saying "I dont know what to do with the love given to me etc" me almost puking and eventually with me consoling her.
The next day we go get yogurt and I say shes my best friend and we simply need strong boundaries because I dont want to hurt her. If I should of stopped anytime it should of been now. I buy her a Christmas present and things end ok, breaks go by and im mentally gone, im at the lowest I've ever felt in my life, I feel insane, depressed, just psychotic. Long novel incoming sorry
Hey all. I really cant talk about this to anyone without hurting her; so sit down this is a doozey. Needless to say I have not so great mental health, in high school I was in a pretty bad emotionally abusive relationship, I was pretty badly abused and pushed everyone I knew away and was in a pretty much severe depression and severe anxiety for around 6 years, I assumed one day I would sleep it off, and think normal but that never happened.
Anyways I get to college and really dont put myself out there to meet anyone else. Come to my senior year and my grades are pretty good, but this is when I(21M) meet her(19F), and I think shes gorgeous. I eventually work the effort to talk to her, and we become ok friends for about a week or so. During this time she would always message me and one time we stayed up until 2am in the university rec room just talking. This felt pretty damn good, for once it felt like somebody actually wanted to know about me, during this time she even looked up my house address and parents facebook without me even telling her their names, anyways a few days or aobut a week later she says shes going on a trip to visit her BF, I was devastated and cried, she says "that must be a punch in the balls, you had me mindfucked there for a while though, being in a LDR your always looking for something new etc" "i always had this mindset that this guy is great but I gotta tell him i have a boyfriend etc", even when I asked about her bio once(this is all on me however, I should of asked, I cried for other unhappy personal reasons aswell).
