With seven weapons, plenty of ammunition accessories, interchangeable parts, and three sets of hands, it’s well worth the price. However, since it is 3rd party, the some parts don’t fit that well and need a bit of sanding or nail polish in order to go in or stay in. This is especially an issue with the golden rocket boosters, since they’re so small and there’s so many of them (about 60), I’ve had to start gluing them into place so that they stay in. I probably wouldn’t build this this kit again just because of how annoying the boosters are, but it definitely will look good on a shelf. |

 | I posted this on a comment yesterday but decided that it'd be nice to create a post with links to a working mod list for 3.8.3, blurbs about each mod, and load order. Right now, I'm playing on 3.8.3 and have ~40 mods running without crashing or major compatibility issues. I know a lot of players (myself included) want to just hop into playing SPT with mods but don't want to dick around too long finding them, fixing them, etc. So, that's what this guide is for. I'll walk through the mods I've got working on 3.8.3 together, as well as what they do. submitted by TheRaptorFence101 to SPTarkov [link] [comments] This is a mod list that can exist as a baseline for adding on to, although I am playing with some major overhaul mods that are widely used by the community (such as Realism). It's your decision on whether you want to install those yourself. Note: Tarkov be weird with mods. I've got these working on my system, but they might not work on yours. For example, you won't see Raid Overhaul or an equivalent here because I can't run them regardless of if it's the only mod or a million; I just get crashes. I'm not here to provide tech support, and I can only give my own experience. YMMV, Buyer Beware, yadda yadda. That said, I've worked with all these over multiple patches and versions, and together they are (mostly) stable. Note 2: Some stuff may be listed as an earlier version, but should work with 3.8.3. Always check the comments section of said mod. Many authors will leave beta patches for their stuff in the comments for the most recent SPT version. Note 3: Stuff that is starred is something that you will need to tweak settings to get to work properly with other mods, or that needs tweaked to provide a better experience for you. Note that many of these mods need hotkeys assigned or effects turned on/off in the F12 menu. That's up to you, not something I will be addressing here. Note 4: If you're downloading all these at once, I advise installing into your folders in the order of the groupings I list (from least impactful to most impactful on the game), tweaking your mod order, and running through a raid. I find if something goes wrong, it's either on startup of the server, the game itself, loading into a raid, or loading out of a raid. Base Mods (Required for other mods)

 | Here's my M.86/90! In 1886, OEWG (Steyr) had developed the most advanced straight pull blackpowder rifle ever made, the M1886 Mannlicher! Unfortunately, the French came up with smokeless powder, and the rifle was quickly obsolete. OEWG was able to "adapt" the design to the semi-smokeless 8x52R before finally landing on 8x50R in 1890. But now what to do with rifles that were now behind 2 ammunition changes? Well, change them to 8x50R! Func lot LC xxxxxx means its from the Lake City ammunition plant. The actual lot numbers are just referring to what batch it was made with. If you had a bunch of ammunition related malfunctions, one could (theoretically) keep track of what lot number was responsible and make a report.  | I've been considering getting a revolver for my collection. This one intrigued me because of the interchangeable cylinder and the ability to use three different calibers .38/.357/9MM. I'm aware Taurus doesn't necessarily have the best reputation for QC consistency. My collection currently consists of rifles 10/22; Ruger American Rimfire; AR in .223 Wylde; Ruger PCC. Pistols: (Glock Gen 3 17/19 with Advantage Arms .22LR conversion kits for both ; 1911; Beretta M9. But would like to teach with a revolver as well. Having all of my pistols share ammunition is a big plus and 9mm is fairly inexpensive. Also, since I'm in California having the ability to shoot different calibers without the need of jumping through extra hoops is quite appealing. -If a player does have fence at 6 he is relatively safe keep in mind a lot of maps like interchange, factory and certain parts of maps like new gas and old gas of customs, reserve basement are close quarters which makes this useless too
****If a player kills a scav they lose 0.05 fence rep per scav!!! That can add up QUICKLY

I thought about a mechanic in the game which could and would bring some movement into the maps which i would call hotspots.
Simillar to how the goons spawns switch every couple hours, there coule be hotspots on each map which switch every 1-3 hours. Peacekeeper sells you the information where the hotspot currently is. Hotspots could have higher tier lootspots/lootcrates + a chance to have raiders/rogues or even peacekeepers own troups around.
The area would be more reinforced and guarded but would involve rare armory and weaponry to be found in (Zabralos, Rys-T, Thermals, Full kitted weapons, high end ammunition).
These hotspots should be able to even make the most boring spots on a map into a treasure vault, bringing PVP to normally empty areas like the sunken town on shoreline, the airplane on woods, scav checkpoint on interchange,...

This is going back into the past. I think the OG version was for either DOS or Win95. I found the Playstation 1 version of it, but its difficulty was immensly nerfed, and many of the quirky items removed.
the game was top down "god sim" where you controlled 4 different kinds of characters. red breeders, blue builders, white scientists, and green soldiers. red create more reds, blue make bigger and different buildings, white take items in the world and turn them into nuisance weapons, green make ammunition and assualt other bases. you can interchange any characters shirt color with a swipe of the mouse, more scientists can build more stuff, more soldiers can build more bullets, etc.
enemies had the exact same characteristics, just not as color coordinated as your troops.
