Im taking my NMAT in 4 days. My initial plan was to study 3-4 months in advance, but because of hectic schedule (im taking overload of courses) + internship, I wasnt able to stick to that plan. I like activities that i can enjoy anywhere. Though i think this is because of how used to using a phone i am. Mobile gaming etc... is pretty neat. I like activities in which i can see a story unfold. Reading is one of them, iwas a huge reader as a kid. But i gravitate more so towards watching cool shows. However i much prefer shows and things that arent as popular because then people wont annoyingly yap about the surface level of the shows that we mutually have watched. Though I do like creative activities, like painting, I also like shopping and walking around. I like doing things that I feel are leading towards something grand. So, for instance, journaling and practicing a skill daily brings me some pleasure. I used to be a huge football fan until I realized how corrupt the sport was. I do like some sports though. Quite curious. I'm sometimes out of touch with reality just entertaining my mental musings. I will be sat and thinking about some random topic or thing iused to hear about and then research it. I'll try to make sense of the world and the "why" behind things. For example; why do I have nightmares when it's cold? Why are xyz so unreasonable? Why am I so attached to this toy? Why don't people do instead of y? I feel like social media has influenced this process tho. Giving us random things to consume, it leads us to clicking on videos and articles that spark new interests so easily and quickly, so I'm unsure. Though I tend to want to know why certain things are happening or WHAT is happening. Especially if theres like a crown gasping at something, for instance.

i have taken leadership positions in the past, and I did well. I much prefer to appeal to the good nature of my "teammates" and encourage them to do a good job.however, I prefer to select my team. I do not want laziness or incompetence in my crew. So I will scan my options and choose who I will team up with. If I have options that are limited to not-so-skilled individuals, I will play a leadership role and do most of the thinking. Tho I don't enjoy it.

i'm coordinated, yeah. I actually prefer situations where I can grasp the essence of a problem and use my hands. I prefer writing over reading, so I guess I like using my hands fo effect the mediums I work with. I used to want to be like a spy who is interacting with a bunch of gadgets and mobilizing himself towards a goal. My activity is usually at my own pace. I frequently try to finish tasks ahead of schedule because I want to spend more time lazing around and doing whatever I want. I tend to seek clarity in instructions I am given and sequentially take care of each piece of the task I am given. I recently started using to do lists because the workload became HUGE. I will, however, not compromise my comfort.

i am. I am skilled with pencil shading and line art and do pretty well with colours and aesthetics. I know what I like and try to make something that appeals to me and is objectively nice. I'm good with visual arts but I'm also a pretty good actor. I've always excelled at making accents and role playing. The past, I have a love hate relationship with it. I made mistakes that I regret and have been through horrible things. But I do appreciate things from the past that bring me meaning. Certain flavors, sceneries, good memories. As for the present, I tend to be locked out of the present moment. I struggle to live in the moment and can seem rather weird. I think more about things than actually doing them. It feels like I play a character at any given moment for any given interaction tho. As for the future, I tend to find it weird. I want a better future and sometimes think, in a tight situation, "don't worry. Tomorrow this will be over." I love thinking that the future is open and that better days are ahead. I hate classes with lots of aural input from a lecturer, If it triggers my misophonia.i prefer learning things practically. explanations will just have me needing to read more and try to focus on boring notes. Using my hands and brains is preferred. I score high in Kinesthetic for VARK tests. Oh, and visual. I prefer classes that involve logic, creativity and physical senses. I can memorize things but this is the most tedious learning style for me.

I can strategise when needed. I weigh the task up first. If the task at hand is hard, I will break it down and dedicate more energy to it. Else, I'll just do what feels right. I even ignore instructions sometimes.

The flavour of the world feels warm, with a tinge of coldness. I would feel as if my suffering paid off and I am nowhere except where I am supposed to be. If the room has no windows or doors, I'd be scared. Assuming it has windows and a door, I would look outside, eventually. How big is the room? If it's a HUUUUGE empty hall, that's so cool. I'd walk around and imagine myself in some great elvish building and maybe even lie down to see the roof. I even dreamt of such a building before, hexagon shaped cross section.

When I (23f) was a freshman in college, I had a friend, Amanda (name changed), who was in the same program as me and lived down the hall from me, and we hit it off. She had her quirks, and she made gruesome comments a lot, but mostly it was stuff you could easily take as a joke without thinking twice about her intentions. I considered her a friend.
Towards the end of spring break, she called me and asked if I could take her to pick up her glasses that were being fixed as she couldn’t drive herself without them. I agreed and when I got back to campus that Saturday around noon, we headed out to get her glasses. Turns out it was a trap.
As soon as we got off campus, she went from acting totally normal to practically sobbing. She was over the top emotional, explaining how her partner had just broken up with her and how she was so hurt and broken. I was caught off guard by the sudden mood swing to say the least. But then she kept going. She proceeded to make remarks about driving to the ex’s place of employment to physically confront them, but wouldn’t it be a shame if she were to wreck and off herself intentionally along the way? Her pattern of thinking went off the deep end so fast I felt like I was getting whiplash. She went from laughing and joking to talking about offing herself to make her ex feel bad within literal minutes.
I did my best to calm Amanda. We got her glasses picked up, got her food, and then I told her she could come back to my dorm room when we got back to campus because her words made me scared to leave her alone. When we got back to my dorm I started to unpack from going to visit my parents over the break, and she sat on my floor and started telling me, in graphic detail, how she could off herself that night. I tried my best to calm her down, tried to lighten the mood, and text a mutual friend to come help me because Amanda was spiraling very rapidly.
Before the friend arrived, Amanda started describing how she could kill her ex and how easy it would be to kill me. Amanda was pretty athletic, and she worked out with our campus ROTC, so she was pretty agile. I knew if she had any intention of hurting me, I wouldn’t win in the fight. So when she was not paying as much attention or was looking at her phone, I started hiding anything and everything in my room I could think of that she could use to hurt herself or me: scissors, charging cables, my cutlery. And she kept flipping the conversation to hurting somebody (herself and/or me or her ex) the whole time. This spiral in my dorm lasted about three hours.
Finally my friend arrived and we were able to convince Amanda she needed help and drove her to the hospital around midnight. After waiting for almost 6 hours, Amanda was released and our mutual friend who had gone back with Amanda so she wasn’t alone pulled me aside and said Amanda had lied to the doctors and said we forced her there against her will and she was totally fine. The doctors released her with a prescription for an anxiety medication and a note to my friend to have Amanda give us all her sharp items.
We go back to the dorms, Amanda voluntarily gives us any sharp or weapon-like objects she has in her dorm, and separate to go to sleep. Not even two hours after I fall asleep that morning (it was almost 7 AM when we got back from the hospital), I wake up to noises in my room. I lived alone. Amanda had broken into my dorm room and was scurrying around in the dark. To say it scared the absolute crap out of me would be an understatement. Amanda claimed my door was unlocked, but I know it wasn’t. She also claimed she was only in there to get her leftovers from the day prior, but something didn’t feel right to me.
I distanced myself that next day because she was honesty scaring me and I needed space to sort out my thoughts. When I wouldn’t answer her messages, she started bombarding me with calls and texts. When I let her know I wasn’t answering because I was with other friends on campus, she requested that I let her into their dorm so she wasn’t alone. I said I couldn’t do that and she said she was going to harm herself. I called the RA on duty and informed them of her statements and sent screenshots of the message from Amanda saying she would hurt herself to them. When the RA went to check in on Amanda, they told me she was chilling in her room completely normal. No odd behavior or heightened emotions.
That Sunday night when I returned to my dorm, I had stepped in my room to put down my bag and turn on my light and then walked down the hallway to use the communal restroom. Her dorm room was on a hallway angled to my own and she could see my window from hers. She was watching and saw my light come on and was pounding at my door within minutes. She was knocking and yelling so loud I could hear her in the bathroom. It scared me, and I didn’t know what to do so I messaged another girl on our hallway and asked her to intervene so I could leave without Amanda spotting me.
When the girl went out to see what Amanda was doing and tell her to quit, Amanda told her that she was just going to pick my lock and wait for me to get back from wherever I had gone. My friend managed to distract Amanda enough that I slipped out of the dorm unnoticed.
I slept in another dorm that night with a friend, but went to my schools Title IX the next morning to report the break in and harassment. The school took four days, with around five meetings, including one with a campus counselor and several with the dean of student affairs to finally allow me a no contact order with Amanda, but the damage to me was done. I fell into what was one of the worst depressive episodes of my life. I was scared to leave my dorm room. I was scared to be alone. I woke up panicking thinking somebody was in my room. I didn’t leave my dorm room for almost two weeks unless my friends dragged me to the cafeteria for food but I rarely let them.
My grades plummeted because I wasn’t attending class or doing my homework. Amanda started telling anybody who was in the program with us that I had abandoned her for no reason and even told the dean of student affairs that we had been in a relationship and I didn’t want to break up with her to her face so I went to Title IX and made it all up. She was lying to anybody and everybody who would listen.
I almost lost my scholarships, I lost friends, and I lost myself because of all of this. It’s been five years now, and while I am better, I still have triggers related to what Amanda put me through. I’m slower to trust, more calculated when making plans with friends, and if anybody around me has a negative emotional response (aka anger or frustration or sadness) I panic into a spiral by automatically fearing that they will off themself.
The bright side of the situation ended up being a love of psychology that I discovered while trying to overcome my mental health struggles brought on by this situation. I changed my major to psychology, got my bachelors of science, and am now content working on my masters and looking forward to getting my PH.D. in the near future.
I don’t think I’ll ever fully emotionally recover from the fear and trauma of that weekend, but I forgave Amanda a long time ago because the reality of the situation is that she needed help. And I did all I could to try and get her that help, but if she wasn’t ready to accept it then there was truly nothing more I could have done. I only removed myself when it became harmful to myself. And I hope wherever Amanda ended up today that she is safe and content with her life and her choices.

Well, everything started in 2012 when I was in elementary school, and a new math teacher was transferred to my school. At first, no one knew anything about her; we only knew she had been transferred from her old school after being on leave for some time. From her first class, she exhibited strange behavior, and none of the students really understood what she was doing (we had just started elementary school and were 10 and 11-year-old kids). The first red flags were when she divided the classroom in half: one half was for white students and the other for black students. Even though I was white, I felt very bad because the students on the other side of the room began to be treated differently. It started with her ignoring those students' questions. They really tried to ask for help, but she just ignored them. After some time, during tests and homework submissions, the humiliation began. She started to insult all the black students whenever they couldn't complete a task or scored poorly on tests. The insults were always very "masked"; she would always say, "You will never be anything in life," or "When you grow up, you'll be garbage collectors or drug dealers." Most of us didn't really understand what was happening because we were just kids who had just left fifth grade. But everything got worse when the teacher found her favorite student, Francis. Francis was the only white and blonde boy in the class. Since the teacher created this bizarre fixation on Francis, the lives of all the other students became hell. At this point, she started to humiliate all the students except Francis. The first thing she did to me was when I handed in my homework, and she accused me, without any proof, of copying from Francis (I was the best-performing math student in my class, and that year I was even selected to compete in a regional school competition called the Math Olympics). I tried to argue that I hadn't copied, but she simply tore up my homework and said, "You are very arrogant and will be a failure." When she said that to me, I was furious and had no reaction. In the following days, my life turned into real hell. A few weeks before school started, I had been hospitalized for a severe urinary infection, and the doctors told me not to hold my urine for long periods because it could increase the occurrence of urinary infections. I went to the bathroom twice per class because I couldn't hold it anymore. But from the day she humiliated me, she forbade me from going to the bathroom, even after I informed her about my condition. When I told her that, she shouted to the class, "This mommy's boy can't handle anything." When she said that, I had a fit of rage, threw all my materials at the board, and screamed with all my might, "I hate you," then ran out of the classroom straight to the bathroom. That same day, my mother was called to the school, and when I told the principal the whole story of what had been happening, I only received a warning. The principal asked me to leave the room to talk privately with my mother. When I left the room, the principal begged my mother not to file a complaint against the teacher and told her the real reason she had been transferred. He told my mother that Mrs. Rosa had lost her 12-year-old daughter in an accident. Since that happened, she had been on psychological leave for six months and requested a transfer to another school, which is why she behaved that way (which, to me, does not justify any of her behavior). After this incident, the school year was a true nightmare; it was truly my worst year in math. Fast forward 10 years to 2022, when I was already in college, I met my English teacher again. Since school, I had always been her favorite student, and she lived in the same neighborhood as me. After finishing high school, I became good friends with my English teacher, and we often met for coffee. I would tell her about the news from college, and she would tell me about her students. During one of these meetings, she told me that Mrs. Rosa had passed away in 2020 due to an overdose. She told me that since 2013, Mrs. Rosa had struggled with substance abuse, and in 2020, she was found dead in her home. Even after everything that happened, my feelings are very confused about this whole story. Sometimes I feel a bit of empathy, and sometimes I feel she got what she deserved in the end.

since my girlfriend wanted a Setup, I gave her my old PC (RTX 2080 Super and an i7 10700k) and got myself some parts for good prices. Since I don't play that much, I got myself a Rx 7700 xt nitro+ from sapphire. My case had 2 140mm (1000 rpm max) case fans for intake and 1 120mm fan for outtake (3300 rpm max). I made a clean install of windows 11, ran all benchmarks and as a gaming test I played my favorite game, Warhammer 40k:darktide. 1440p ultra I had relatively good fps (I think around 70) but something was very horrible. I got micro stuttering nonstop, which was very weird to me. After some tests it felt like it was because of either the GPU fans stop spinning or because of a throttle of the hotspot temperature (reached around 90 °C). I was very irritated and thought, well, let's see if a custome curve helps. Turned of 0 rpm mode and put the curve up by 10 % (compared to the original curve). Started the test with Warhammer again and all stuttering was gone. Then I put the 10 % down, still no stuttering. Put on the standard curve again (with 0 rpm mode), stuttering happened again. I am really noise tolerant, so I put in 5 1200 m fans (3 for intake, 2 for outtake) and run them at 1600 rpm. I put the standard curve again and all stuttering is gone. Did someone experience the same problems? If yes, how did you solve it or do you have any suggestions? Maybe my post helps someone in need...

meditation is not a practice that you do. Meditation is simply what you are. it takes no effort at all to be what you effortlessly are. your awareness never requires any maintenance nor any effort at all to simply be aware. you need to make an effort only so that you can come to the realization that it was always effortless the entire time. effortlessness is our most natural and unique divine quality but most are disconnected from their pure self and have adopted beLIEfs about who they are which is the source of their suffering. Very important to understand that this is not personal in any way shape or form. I have recently come to realize that God is very logical and runs the universe in a way that we all can unanimously agree on deep down in everyone's soul we all unanimously agree with God's way whether we want to or not simply because the spirit in all of us can't help but agree with it absolutely. The physical version of us can easily lie to itself but our spirit is incapable of it. If you suffer It could only be because you deserve to suffer. Although we have always been strategically and purposefully told by our society that "life is not fair!!!" Big surprise it turns out the society that man has wrought is ass backwards in every way shape and form. It's not the world that's upside down it's the society that makes it seem that way. The truth is the universe is perfectly Fair. It's just that humans are incredibly skilled at lying to themselves. So they are not aware of why they deserve to suffer. I have always been one who has been incapable of lying to myself. For example, most people are proud or feel arrogance and superiority because they possess some great quality. This is only possible because they are skilled at lying to themselves and ignore the fact that everything amazing about them could only be seen as a gift from God and any imperfection within us can only come from us as individual people. You have to be an amazing liar to your self to ever feel arrogance or any sense of superiority above others. We are all given our own unique special gifts from God and he did not give you these gifts expecting to be thanked or for any ulterior motive other than out of pure love. It is simply a fact that you unknowingly spit in the face of this great pure love if you pretend that anything good about you comes from you the individual person. Of course if it did come from you you would be worthy to feel Superior and dominate others but God is the living breathing proof of one who is Worthy to feel Superior and look down on anything and yet he doesn't do it. So if anybody who is unworthy dare to dominate, control, or even feel Superior to another they commit a great great sin against the universe itself. And their own soul will punish itself knowing full well it deserves it. I have always been painfully painfully aware of why I deserved whatever I deserved. And thanks to my special gift God allowed me to be the kind of person that is incapable of lying to themselves. I'm aware of the fact that Humility is the only thing I ever truly deserve to feel. we resist feeling this humility only because we resist our suffering. Suffering has never been our enemy just like the pain you feel when you touch a hot stove is not our enemy but our very important friend that you would be smart to listen to. Understanding this allows you to never again feel like suffering is something to complain about instead it becomes a grand opportunity for growth. Another gift that God gave me was an insatiable desire for growth that only an infinite and eternal God can satisfy. This is why my entire life God has never allowed me to feel Pride or arrogance without severely teaching me a lesson and putting me in my place. God has been drilling the lesson of humility into my head above all other lessons my entire life. Humility is the Foundation of all my spiritual growth. There's two other super important lessons he made sure I mastered before truly revealing himself to me. And I believe that if anyone were to fully learn just these three specific lessons he made sure I learned above all others then you too would be worthy of seeing his glory. You could be perfect in almost every way but haven't fully learned three fundamental things he simply cannot bless you the way he wants to because you simply wouldn't deserve it. And if you have many many flaws but you somehow are able to fully understand three specific things then you will earn so much of his love and respect that he will personally take care of your other flaws in time and put you on a fast track to your own unique perfection.you let go of control simply by realizing that you don't have it in the first place. the only control we have is whether or not we accept what ever comes and goes. the one who realizes that realizes control is overrated. it's much easier to flow in harmony and allow the universe to do all the work for you cuz it is you silly. effortlessness is our most natural quality but most are disconnected from their pure self and have adopted belief of who they are which is the source of their suffering. thus giving birth to the false sense of personhood. a mere illusion that we cling to and overlook our true selves which is always present but seemingly overshadowed by the mind. it's very rare for me to find one who can not only follow me in this but also speak profound truth on the matter. The self within me is the same self within you. to connect love and inspire those who also know that we are not two is pretty damn cool if you ask me. there is nothing that I enjoy doing more than this haha. You beautiful bums do you not realize 😍 it is your experience at any given moment you can verify that this awareness we all have an experience of is ever present and unchanging? although I love ABSOLUTELY ALL equally and unconditionally. the way that I feel for another being who Has also walked the narrow path and can stand next to me shoulder to shoulder or better yet way Beyond me in terms of wisdom never as a mere follower but as an equal goes far beyond any word that could possible exist. I will give you nothing. all I will do is ask the question and you yourself have to testify that this awareness that you KNOW that YOU are is ever present and unchanging. every single person on the planet if they would only investigate themselves would come to the exact same conclusion within themselves. and if they only knew the implications of such a profound discovery their minds would be blown Sky High. for the past 10 years I've been pondering one profound matter and it wasn't until about 7 years did I barely begin to really understand it's depths. and 3 years later I now find myself to just begin to walk the path of understanding. there is no end to this path I'm on. there is an infinite amount of growth ahead of me. my journey to reaching this point has been one drenched in failure and suffering. I have fallen in every single trap possible many many times until I eventually matured slowly but surely in my awareness of these traps and adjusted to not only not falling anymore traps but pass every single test that the universe constantly loves to throw at me with flying colors. I went through all that pain and suffering so that I may be a light too those Souls who attempt to walk a similar path as me. although in comparison to the whole of humanity only a handful will bare the fruits they were supposed to. I have a feeling it's going to be a pretty damn good handful. my instincts tell me I'm far from alone and that many have walked a similar narrow Road. I do not often come across those who have an ear to hear that which I speak. I've had to learn the hard way to stop giving precious jewelry to swine and instead save it for those Worthy even if it means waiting a long time to find such a being. The universe loves to remind me that it appreciates me greatly for trying my very best with great passion to teach another that which I have understood but it seems like it's only meant for those who have a level of discernment that is extremely Sharp enough to see through all the b******* but not throw away the precious baby with the bathwater. the truth that I have found is so simple that most humans will simply Overlook or not be able to sense the importance of it because they don't realize the beauty of the most simple truth that if you investigate enough transforms into the most profound and never-ending mystery. leave it to God who is the source of all paradoxes to hide the most profound thing in existence right under everybody's noses in plain sight making it seem so simple that the vast majority of all beings who have ever lived are incapable of appreciating it and instead live and die never tasting or knowing themselves. Its always been my sincere Love Of Truth that has kept me forever Rising through an ocean of darkness. all the pain and suffering that life throws at anyone is Beyond worth it if one can just manage to learn the specific lesson that accompanied them. to not learn the lesson would be a waste of that suffering. I'm just a humble servant of this grand life. there is no greater honor in life than to be a servant of it. the true definition of a king is one who dedicates their life in service of their precious kin their beloved brethren. all beings are equal and deserving of dignity and respect, this is simply common sense to one who knows themselves. When I was in first and second grade the teachers wouldn't let us use the bathroom for extended periods of time, sometimes the entire day. They would make up these stupid ass rules like only 1 person could go at a time and no one could go for 10 minutes after that person got back. We had hall passes that got taken away from us if we were being "bad". I was a kid who drank a LOT of water and needed to use the restroom regularly. I became a kid who would piss themselves because we weren't allowed to use the restroom and I physically couldn't hold it anymore. Up until 5th grade, when we moved from elementary to middle school, I had to wear diapers or some sort of underwear because I would end up pissing myself while waiting to use the restroom.
I just fucking hate public school systems and the freaks who think rules like this make sense. Not letting children not use the restroom??? Insanity. I don't blame myself, I physically could not follow their rules because my body did not want to. I remember being bullied for it, I remember being constantly stressed at school, and of course I remember waiting and waiting and at some points crying and begging to use the restroom while teachers would laugh at me and say no.
I wish adults weren't so fucking cruel. I fucking hate the abusive, controlling people who decide to go into professions that have other people relying on them. Fuck you. Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is undoubtedly one of the best games of this year. Not only does it shine in terms of audio-visual setting, but also in terms of story. The only element that could be considered caveat is at the same time its greatest asset, namely cinematography. Sometimes one gets the impression that the developers, in an effort to achieve the best possible effect, had to make a lot of compromises, which significantly limited the gameplay possibilities. Nevertheless, for a great narrative and immersion, this is something to turn a blind eye to.

When I was about 19 years old i think I was Grade 12 at that time. Our destinado looked at me and said "oh _____ magministro ka ha".Then I always said "pag isipan ko po" as a sign of respect since di pa ako mulat or naiinis noon. Since then, hindi niya na ako tinigilan. Paulit-ulit niya na ako kinukulit not only me but my co-MT. Even nagpapakita ako ng passion ko sa Tungkulin ko to show him na ayaw ko sa ministeryo hindi niya ako tinantanan. One time, I'm practicing singing hymn and studying the sheet that I'm holding since I'm a choir. Tapos bigla ako pinababa kasama ung ka MT ko and then we're inside the receiving and that minister told us and convincing na we should take Preparatory course(if i'm not mistaken) and kinekwentuhan kami about him not really wanted to be a minister and kwentong barbero for sure na kunware ayaw din niya noon siguro para ma engganyo kami na subukan talaga. After that talk, guess what? Naging lamig ung ka MT ko and the reason was because that minister aslo pushing him to enter SFM aggressively. He makes his hair so long and after WS he will go home asap to prevent seeing that minister. Then sa akin naman ang malala was when my mom goes home from church. She asked me na "willing ka ba lumusong, ano ba talaga gusto mo?" And I confidently said na "no ma, di naman yan ang pangarap ko, iba yung gusto ko tahakin sa buhay at di yung pagpasok sa ministeryo". Thankfully, yung mom ko hindi nagalit instead, she told me na "sige anak, kung san naman yung gusto mo doon ako basta nasa matino yung tatahakin mong propesyon" and its a relief to me na di ako pinressure ng mom ko. Moments later, she opened up na kinausap din daw siya and tinatanggi niya rin nga ang alok sa akin since our sambahayan is watak watak na means there are some of our family na hindi na INC. At that moment, hindi daw nagpatinag ung ministro and said na "sa side ko rin naman po mga hindi INC pero okay naman" like WTF?? Super duper na sila magconvince eh noh. Dun uminit yung ulo ko and sinabi pa ng mom ko na "iba po kasi gusto nyang maging propesyon eh" then sabi na naman ng ministro na "pwede naman sya pagkagraduate pumasok sa dept(kung anoman ung usto ko na prop". After that, sinabi nalang din ni mama na "tanungin ko nalang po siya kasi desisyon nya naman po yun di ko sya macoconvince" tapos ginamit na nya ung pananakot card nila sabi ba naman "sige po, papuntahin niyo na lang sya sa lunes kausapin sya ng instructor ng sfm pati ni o1 at district staffs".
