Now,his maami saw this chat between him and me and has ordered the Screenshot of this particular conversation , She in the starting of the conversation ,was watching the conversation happening through WhatsApp.
Now my friend(neighbor's son) is telling me that she is very angry . She is rn gone somewhere to visit a temple but, He is saying that she will talk to my neighbor or she will directly confront me .
I am worried about it guys, Please tell me some solution to this problem

Hi there, I just finished a one-week trip to Thailand and wanted to create a comprehensive post here for all Indians (and others) who plan to visit. Will try to cover everything but if I miss something, please let me know so I can add it as an edit later :)
Bangkok: La Petit Sukhumvit 11 - Unclean, cramped rooms with thin walls (IYKYK). And this was the free upgrade to the premier room, can't imagine what the basic room must be like. On the 2nd night, we decided to upgrade to the Deluxe room for THB 300 (INR 700). While it was well worth it, the AC control unit was locked and kept varying between 29-32°C making it quite warm in the room. The staff was not friendly and refused to tell me why the Deluxe room didn't have adjustable AC, but location was great. All in all though, maybe don't book this hotel. Bad experience!
Pattaya: Fifth Jomtien (Pattaya) - Good location, but incredibly rude staff. The room was good quality but unclean and try refused to clean it even after promising to. Definitely overpaid for this one. Not recommended, stay at Hotel Sirin or somewhere else!
SIM Card: Avoid buying an overpriced SIM on arrival at the airport. Even the "unlimited" ones for THB 619 only offer unlimited data upto 15-20GB. After that, the speed goes down to under 1Mbps. Instead, get a genuine unlimited SIM at any 7-11. There are plenty of those in Thailand, so just take a cab back to your hotel after you land and find a 7-11 on the way to buy a SIM.

- Overview: Girlfriend and I planned a 7-night, 8-day trip to Thailand, 27th April to 4th May. We booked flights from Mumbai as that turned out to be cheaper and faster compared to booking from Pune.
- Cost: After a lot of planning and budgeting, the entire trip cost us ~INR 75,000 per head, including shopping worth INR 3,000.
- Itinerary: 27th-29th in Phuket, 29th-1st in Krabi, 1st-3rd in Bangkok, 3rd overnight at Pattaya and back to Bangkok DMK airport by noon for the flight out on the 4th.
- Visa and docs: Visas are exempted for Indians until May 10th (I think this has been extended). I'd been told by many to carry proof of cash, hard copies of Aadhar, Passport, hotel bookings, flight bookings. But none of that was required. I travelled with ONLY my phone, passport and wallet. At immigration, they only asked for my boarding pass and passport. No need to carry any other document. After 10th May, you may need to carry passport photos and Visa fees.
- Payments: With the intention of paying everywhere by card, I decided to order the 'Niyo' card. But two factors swayed me against it. One, Thailand being a cash-economy, most vendors won't accepts cards. Two, I'd heard a few horror stories about one being unable to retrieve money from their DCB Niyo account. After much thought, my girlfriend and I decide to carry THB 22,000 in cash and INR 5,000 in Niyo which my father could send money to in 5K increments. We also carried INR 20,000 in cash as insurance money which reminded untouched. Our goal was to finish all our cash before boarding our return flight to avoid the hassle and loss associated with exchanging the money back to INR.
- Forex - We got the best exchange rate at Orient Exchange, DP Road, Pune. We exchanged INR 51,480 at THB 1 = INR 2.34 and received THB 22,000. This might seem too low an amount for two people for 8 days but we had backup cash, a Niyo card and wanted to finish our cash to avoid exchanging again.
- Flights: Wanting to do this trip on a budget, we booked the cheapest possible flights. BOM to HKT was at 5pm IST (direct). The return was DMK to BOM at 8pm Thai Time (direct). Each flight cost ~INR 13,000. Internal flight from HKT to DMK cost INR 3,500. IMPORTANT - The internal Thai AirAsia flight did not include check-in luggage. I had to pay THB 1,300 (INR 3,000) for my check-in bag. Just something to keep in mind.
- Hotels: Phuket: Lub d Phuket, Patong - Excellent hotel for the price. Good room, good location. Recommended!

- Transportation: 'Grab' and 'Bolt' are the 'Ola' and 'Uber' of Thailand. Make sure to check for applicable offers before booking. The scooter option is cheap. The in-built map on these apps was glitchy. It was hard to pinpoint my and the drivers' locations. Be sure to double-check.
- Food: I want to highlight the convenience of 7-11s. These stores are everywhere, sometimes within a few metres of each other. While the packaged food available there is not healthy, the cost and convenience are great assets for any tourist. My fav options there were: Plain Greek yogurt w/ chocolate muesli (THB 22) Sausage and cheese sandwich (THB 39). 7-11 only accepts card payments above THB 200 so be sure to have enough cash on hand. On the other hand, local food is cheap, good quality and available everywhere. Some standouts were - Mango sticky rice, chicken satay, mangosteen fruits are definitely to be tried, yellow Thai curry, etc.
- Phi Phi islands tour: We decided to visit Phi Phi islands via a speedboat tour. I'd recommend booking after you reach Thailand as the prices are cheaper than what you see online, at least in India. Be sure to carry water cases so you can click pictures and LOTS of sunscreen.
- Other places we visited: Phuket - Bangla road Krabi - Night market, Techo Vayo for some excellent red curry 🤤 Bangkok - Nana plaza, Soi Cowboy, Platinum mall, Indra square and Rock Eagle for metal bands merch Pattaya - Floating market, Jomtien night market for food, Pattaya walking street
- Miscellaneous: We ran out of THB on our last day but none of the 3 exchanges at DMK airport had INR, which was surprising. The Niyo withdrawal fee was THB 200 which is exorbitant! Do not attend ping pong shows, they're mostly a scam. The 1,000 and 100 THB notes look pretty similar, could be a little confusing.

Day 1: Arriving at Phuket International Airport -> Phuket Old Town -> Wat Chalong -> A Blanket and a Pillow -> Kata Beach -> Sunday Night Market (Phuket Old Town)
- We landed in Phuket International Airport around 12 noon local time. Visa was free on Arrival and we had booked our SIMs in advance on Klook. We chose DTAC SIM Cards (10 Days Validity and 50 GB) and the counter was present as soon as you exit Immigration
- Once outside we proceeded towards Gate 6 Exit -> A short walk to Domestic Terminal Exit 3 -> Right outside you will find the Orange Bus to head to Phuket Old Town. The trip costed 100 Bhat each and we reached our accommodation at the Arbern Bistro Hotel in Phuket Old Town.
- After a brief refresh, we headed for lunch at Lao Pa Sat at the beautiful Phuket Old Town Street and then caught a Songthaew at Ranong Road to head to our first stop at Wat Chalong. We skipped the Big Buddha and directly headed via Grab for a relaxing sunset at 'A Blanket and a Pillow' followed by some beach time at Kata Beach.
- Finally once again took a Grab back to the Hotel, refreshed ourselves and went to the famous Sunday Night Market at Phuket Old Town which was just walking distance from our hotel. Tried a lot of the local foods and desserts and was a great way to End Day 1
- Booked a tour via Klook for James Bond Island, Phang Nga Bay and Hong Island with Kayaking options. Though great at first, it became a little monotonous with the constant kayaking to very similar cave structures. Lunch was decent.
- Got dropped back to the hotel and after a quick recovery proceeded to Patong Beach using the Blue Songthaews
- This was probably the best part of the trip. It was kind of like entering into a completely new vibe very different from Old Town Phuket. We had a fun time at the beach taking part in the open Zumba sessions in the evening, great food at shops and cafes and the mandatory walk down the famous Bangla road. We headed back via Grab to the hotel and called it a night.
- The next leg of the itinerary involved checking out from our stay, a short grab ride to Phuket Bus Terminal 2 and on a 3 hour bus ride to Khao Sok Village via Bus 465
- Once we reached the village, we had a hotel pick arranged to take us to "Our Jungle House" and post a quick lunch went to explore the village as well as partake in a traditional Thai massage.
- The town has a great sleepy, chill vibe but we had to get back early to our stay due to the distance and walking involved (Outside of the main road the pathways leading to the accommodation are not well lit) and called it a night.
- We booked the 3 Day 2 Night Package with our hotel and hence Day 4 involved checking out from a Tree house stay, placing our main luggage with the Hotel and starting towards the Khao Sok National Park.
- After a 1 to 1.5 cab ride with a short stop to get some snacks, we arrived at the Pier and headed by Long Tail boat over the Cheow Lan Lake to our stay for the night - A floating bamboo house along with several other guests
- Post a quick lunch, we had some fun with snorkeling and kayaking and in the evening headed out for a hike followed by a bamboo raft ride to some caves. We were fortunate enough to witness an elephant in the forest having its daily snack.
- We witnessed a beautiful sunset and were back to our accommodation and shortly after dinner, called it a night. We had difficulty in getting sleep due to frequent power outages and warm nights as well some bit of movement from the waves.
- We woke up pretty early to witness a beautiful sunset, headed out for a short boat ride to witness birds and limestone structures in the morning, had breakfast and headed back to the Pier
- Once at the pier, we went back to our hotel in Khao Sok Village, had lunch and then had a mini van arranged to take us to the Surat Thani Airport for the flight to Bangkok
- We arrived in Bangkok at 9 30 pm and then took the A2 Bus to Victory Monument. These buses are parked in front of the Arrival Hall on the first floor of Terminal 1 (Exit No 6)
- After a 1 hr ride to Victory Monument, had dinner and proceeded to our accommodation for the next 3 nights at Fyn Park Hotel near Victory Monument
- Started our bright and early and proceeded from Victory Monument BTS to Saphan Takshin BTS - Proceeded to Sathon Pier and took the boat with the Orange Flag.
- Proceeded to the Grand Palace, went for Lunch at a place called "The Sixth", Wat Pho followed by Wat Arun. In Wat Pho we also partook in a Traditional Massage and was a great experience. Wat Arun was bit of a surprise with a lot of locals dressed in traditional clothing and having photographers clicking their pics. It was difficult to navigate or admire the beauty of the place without getting in someone's way.
- Post the temple visit, we took the Ferry to Asiatique Riverfront - Absolutely loved the vibe of the place and spent a good 1-2 hours exploring the different food joints.
- We then took the last Ferry out from Asiatique to Phra Arthit to explore the infamous Khao San road. The Ferry ride in the night moving from the well established side of Bangkok with High rise buildings to witnessing the beautiful Wat Arun in the night was a tourist attraction in itself. Finally arrived at Phra Arthit and proceeded to have dinner at "Madame Musur Bar and Restaurant".
- It was time to hit Khao San road and man what an experience. Loud Music, line of people inviting us to step into their pubs and bars, it was confusion and chaos at max. We briefly stepped into a Seven Eleven to catch up breaths and hydrate ourselves and witnessed the biggest line in a Seven Eleven I have seen in all of Thailand. Multiple people queuing up with liquor, snacks, quick bites and then proceeding to head out in the jungle of Khao San.
- We then booked a grab back to our stay after thoroughly enjoying what Khao San had to offer.
- Once again an early start to the Victory BTS to Bang Khun Non MRT and then took Exit 3 to catch the free feeder bus to Klong Lat Mayom Floating Market. Explored the market for a couple of hours as well as went on a boat ride along the riverways of the market
- Returned back via feeder bus to the BTS station and headed to Wat Mangkon MRT which is the famous Chinatown - Had a quick lunch and first ventured to Talad Noi to capture in the beauty of the wall paintings as well as a quick coffee stop at Mother Roaster.
- Proceed to walk around Chinatown, grab snacks along the way and then headed to Lumpini Park via BTS
- Spent the evening at Lumphini park and took a grab back to the hotel
- Post some time, we proceeded towards the Jodd Fairs Night Market at Rama 9 for Dinner and returned back to the hotel
- Our final day was reserved for Shopping and we went to Chinatown to pick up souvenirs and gifts for friends and family. We did want to go to Chatuchak Weekend Market but the shopping at China Town took a lot more time than expected and we could not get to see this amazing place. Hopefully next time we will have the fortune of visiting Chatuchak.
- Checked out from the hotel, took a grab to DMK Airport and post the mandatory duty free liquor and chocolate shopping landed safely at the Chennai International Airport

Yesterday i attempted exam for 3rd time . 1st time in regular i just read guide , no coding in laptop , no anything , so could not pass . 2nd time i thought lets get some concept from youtuber , there was about 10 day gap , 7/8 days i watched jenny's lecture and made note , and read that and went to exam . No practicing in laptop . So , again i failed . Last year , i skipped exam because i knew i won't pass and i had other backs too . So , i thought not to waste time on c . And here the 3rd attempt comes , i.e. story of last 1 week . I attempted every questions & think the answers are right too . But how ? What's the secret ? Mailey chai book bata padna suru grey , ani agadi laptop & chatgpt , ekdam minor minor kura pani i didn't ignored . chatgpt lai sodi halney nabujeko. fortran ko sabai program code haney laptop ma . ani suruma chai afai try grthey , kahiley logic bigrintheo ta kahiley format . ani suru hunthiyo chatgpt ko kam , copy the code & ask chatgpt what is wrong ? now it gives a correct code . Still can't understand the logic ? then ask chatgpt to explain each line taking a random example . believe me , u will enjoy it . It took me 3 days to complete fortran . Hi everyone! I am born and raised in Europe and I was lucky to learn Bangla during a 3 year stay as a kid (Madrasate porayse amare koto bhalo chele hoya gesi /s). I am mostly fluent and speak with my parents regularly.
Now I am raising a 2 year old kid, who I would love to teach Bangla to, but she has not much exposure to other Bangla speaking kids. I try to speak with her as much as possible and her grandparents are around too. But I would love to find some toddler appropriate stories that I can read to her. I got the teaching alphabet books but those are boring because they don't have a story or have words/sentences I have never used in my life.
We would prefer non-religious resources and also anything "offline/non-digital" is preferred over apps/websites.
How do you teach your children Bangla? Any advice?

M28, native English speaker. I'm preparing to apply for a masters in applied linguistics (specifically at the UNAM in Mexico). I have a BA in international relations, and only after graduating and having the opportunity to studying Bangla and Spanish and teaching English as a foreign language did I really get sucked deeper into the linguistics side of things, in particular SLA and phonetics.
I want to: 1. pass the entrance exam that they give. It seems to cover what you would have learned more or less in a BA in linguistics. And 2. I want to be ready for the classes
I've been watching some "into to linguistics series" on You Tube and other videos and occupationally reading articles about a variety of topics.
I have a friend that studied linguistics as a BA and then did this masters program and she recommend that I check out these books. What do you all think?
