In 1948, the Soviet union was searching for a good island, until one day a group of fishers living at the coast of Russia, the fishers reported it to their local government, this started a small expedition of the island by Soviet scouts.
Eventually the Soviets purposed this island to be a "good" island for a possible American invasion of Alaska, Canada, Mainland USA, and maybe even some small islands in the pacific. The USSR first built a fort on a smaller island next to the large island, which they named Fort Ronograd, which is how the island got its name, then the USSR built a huge port near the fort, and made a city which was supposed to be a part of the Fort to inhabit the soilders, and their wifes, but it was later purposed as a normal city to house normal people.
In 1962, a U2 spy plane heading to main land Russia, from Alaska discovered a large island with a lot of activity, this was not normal as the USA never found any islands there, and confirmed that the Soviets were inhabiting a new island, the United States feared another missile crisis, so for now the Air Force and the CIA kept shut.
Meanwhile the Soviets did some tomfoolery ( Kafala System ) , and started putting Nuclear Weapons to the island. Then they build another city ( Sochronia City ) to house the incoming immigrants going into the island, multiple other settlements were also made ( Village ), then the Soviets made a quarry so people can be employed, and a Nuclear Energy Facility for once again employement.
So now the Soviets were like " Holy Moly, we can actually make this island effective, so they made a large Broadcasting station on the highest point on the island, to contact the Kremlin much more easily.
In 1966 Global Defense Alliance was formed for the manufacturing of clothing.
So the USA was like panicking right now, as they found out that the USSR had put nuclear weapons on the island, and where in range of Alaska, and Washington State, due to this president Nixon ordered a naval blockade by a Aircraft Carrier near the island, for an attempt to stop shipments going to the island. Right now the Soviets were pissed, so they were like " USA we will take our nukes away, but you guys stop a naval blockade on our supplies ", then the USA was like " Alright fine, but only unless we can still patrol the island, to ensure you guys don't bring nukes ", then the USSR was like " Yeah sure- " and then the Americans were like " Oh yeah, and we have to search all your ships ".

After the USSR collapsed, the new Russian government took over, and they were the problem
You see, a lot of the people living there, were soilders recruited by the USSR, and they were like, " Uh uh, you guys are not controlling us, we will remain communist ", so what happened is that these soilders created a group, to attempt to liberate themselves.
in the year 1992, a PMC was formed called Non-Tactical.
Meet the POD, a terrorist group originating from Sacramento, California. This organization is made up of agents, that were either fired from their jobs, went rogue, or just didn't like their country, These agents were from intelligence agencies like , the CIA, MI6, and much more.
So the RLF caught the attention of the POD, and they were like " RLF do you guys want independence? " and they were like " Hell yes ", and the POD was like " We can help you guys"
Eventually the RLF made a deal with the POD that they will supply, and help them revolt against Russia.
But secretly, the POD were using the RLF, because they had a plan to make a nuke filled with chemical agents (ICBM) , and then launch it to New York, because the island was just in range, and this is because the Soviets left behind multiple silos, that were abandoned.
Enter the year 2000, and that is the year when the Russians built a manmade island, that was a designated Airport, and Military Airbase. Before that everything was either supplied with boats, or small aircraft landing on airfields.
In the year 2004, multiple attacks were done, as other terror attacks, Russian Forces have put up with this and declared Martial Law in Ronograd, which saw Russian Army Personnel patrolling Ronograd, and its multiple cities.
In 2013, a large attack made by the RLF, and POD was seen on the FOB, which caused the base to fall to POD and RLF hands, Russian Forces retreated, and contacted the Aircraft Carrier which they almost never contacted.
A group of Russian Spetznaz stationed on the island, and Navy SEALS from the Aircraft Carrier were formed, and called themselves the " Shadow Warriors ", these volunteers were put on the legendary Operation Shadow Raid, and took the FOB back from the RLF, and POD.
Later a UN conference was held in Prague, Czech Republic, the conference ended in the making of a coalition named Platinum Five, which was a Task Force, built up of multiple armies around the world, and some Special Forces.
After these events, in 2023 a bunker was found with a possible silo, which was found from enemy intel.
The Bad Ending:
The Bad ending resulted in the launch of the ICBM.
The Good Ending:
The Good ending resulted in the ICBM being disarmed.

Hi everyone. I bought my first MX-5 (Miata) after almost ten years of contemplating. It's a European 1997 NA 1.6l (90hp) with 144.000km on the clock. Two owner vehicle and been with the second owner since 2007 and always garage kept/summer only car. All-in-all it's in really good condition.
I went the "smart" route I guess you could say being I bought all new hoses, radiator, WP, thermostat, gaskets, timing belt kit, brakes, coilovers, ALL the fluids and that kind of things. I'm getting it baselined this year and leaving all the upgrade parts to the future.
After succesfully doing all the maintenance last week I started suspecting that the previous owneshop had the timing marks off by one tooth on the intake side. Because of this I wanted to make sure the timing is set right.
I let the car come up to temp (12:30 on the temp gauge, always stayed there while driving) and then jumped the diagnostic port to set the idle. When I inserted the paper clip the idle dropped significantly, it almost stalled. I adjusted the idle up to about 850-950rpm. Everything was temp wise good at that point. I then started to hook the timing gun up and read some final tips/instructions about it. I couldn't get it setup properly so after about 3-10min (honestly don't know how long exactly) I thought I'd shut the car down and do some more reading. I went to shut down the car and I noticed the temp gauge was between the half way and H mark!
I immediately shut the car down and let it cool down. Valve coveradiator was very hot to the touch. Did I do some damage here? I'm devastated if I did some major damage...
After that I've gotten a sense that my thermoswitch (on the thermostat housing) must be bad, because the fans never kicked in! Like I said the car never overheated while driving, even after all the maintenance I did. I tried the diagnostic jump to see if the fan works -> it does. I also grounded the thermoswitch coupler to the valve cover -> fan starts spinning.
It must be the thermoswitch not activating the cooling fan?
FYI: all the parts used were genuine Mazda or I.L Motorsport branded so I would say good quality. All the bolts were torqued down to spec. Everything feels GREAT except that overheat problem when idling for long time standing still.

 | Ordering a scooter online is a bit of a risky adventure, especially when you review the terms and conditions and the return policy. But, you have to agree to it to be able to place the order. Less risky is buying at a dealer, but you pay a significant premium for the product. I've read horror stories online about folks receiving junk and even non-operating scooters. That is a possiblity, and with the terms to which you agree, very risky. submitted by Nancy48236 to scooters [link] [comments] We were lucky, though, with Family Go Carts (FGK) and the Trailmaster Milano N 50cc scooters. I ordered, online, two Trailmaster Milano N 50cc scooters from FGK - one for me, one for my husband - on May 1, 2024. We received the scooters on May 18, 2024. Considering US shipping demand, that is a reasonable time to delivery. The lady at FGK who called me to coordinate the delivery was kind, and gave instructions on how to receive and prepare for the first run (ie. Change oil - upon arrival, the engine has shipping oil in it). Shipping: "Free", but you have to pay access fee and lift-gate fee. Not too bad considering how shipping rates have skyrocketed in the last few years. She asked for our second choice in colors. Thankfully, we got our first choice - light blue and white for me and black and white for my husband. Unpackaging: Remove cardboard (there's no bottom to the cardboard). Just cut down the cardboard at any one of the corners, then walk around the steel skeleton shipping cage. Then you'll take off the top of the steel shipping skeleton. Undo all bolts and nuts on the bottom. You'll also have to undo the two bolts on the top that attach the steering column fork to the steel cage. Then, just tip off the cage on one end (front end or back end - doesn't matter. Don't tip off from the side; you'll damage the bike), and continue tipping it off to the other end. Assembly: No instructions for it. Some assembly is a no-brainer, but the handlebars and front wheel require explanation. Thankfully, someone posted a video on the assembly of Trailmaster Milano: https://youtu.be/rMyJEkH3b4U?si=VRcDlm2-jIvNNGfC , I couldn't have done it without that video. Handlebar assembly: First, just get the bolt in - front to back, with the curvey part of the washer against the column and between the column and the bolt head. Notice you can't get to the nut on the backside (unless you have 6" fingers of a contortionist). Don't worry like I did. Get the bolt in, assemble the front wheel, then come back the the handlebar column. Turn the bars far to one side. Now you can reach the backside of the bolt and add the nut. We added blue Loctite to the axle and the steering column/handlebar threads for the nuts. Make sure you connect the blinkers. Trial and error to get left blinker coordinating with left blinker connector. Two trials if unlucky - not too bad. You'll still have one body-based connector without a mate. Again, don't worry like I did - that's for the headlight. You'll assemble that later. Front wheel assembly: The front wheel assembly is best with two people. I don't know how one could do this part without another person. First goal is to get the scooter out of the steel shipping skeleton and on flat ground so you can support the scooter on its center stand. Get the scooter out of the remaining base of the steel shipping skeleton. This will require some muscle and two persons. Remove the front axle bolt that holds the scooter by its front fork to the base of the steel shipping skeleton. One straddles the scooter while keeping the front lifted up (shaking up and down) while the other wiggles out the bolt axle which is holding the front fork to the base of the steel (cheap, low-grade extruded steel) shipping skeleton. Once the bolt axle is removed, with muscles, one straddles the scooter while keeping the front lifted up and carefully walking through the steel cage bottom while the other person helps with lifting the front. Roll it out of the bottom of the shipping cage - carefully because you don't want to drop it. It's not a smooth roll out, eiter. Then, once on firm, flat ground, get the scooter center stand down so the scooter rests on that on flat, solid ground. We ended up balancing the frame of the scooter on a block of wood, then putting the center stand down. Now, work on the front wheel. Slip the silver-colored, stainless axle bolt spacer into the wheel's disc side. It's frustrating getting the wheel on because you have to get the brake disc lined up with the brake pads (remove the pad spacer put in for shipping and toss it) on the port side of the scooter and the speedometer on the scooter's starboard side correctly lined up with the wheel and fork, ALL that simultaneously while getting it lined up to insert the axle. Fun times! You may end up with assembly partners snapping at each other and swearing - a lot. Persistence and patience and it will get done. Add blue Loctite for final tightening on the axle/lug nut. Oil change: Drain out all the shipping oil. There's a lot in there. After draining, we added about two cups of 15W40. Check the dip stick to make sure your oil level is adequate. Headlight and front cowl assembly: Connect the headlight to the body-based headlight connector. Use the included zip ties to secure all the wires out of the way and neatly, without putting too much strain on any connections. Make sure you put the U-shaped, color matched plastic cover (in horizontal plane) separating the handlebars speedometer instrument from the front cowl. Snap it into the tabs. THEN, attach the front headlight cowl to the body. Don't do like I did - get the headlight front cowl section on then try to snap in the cover. I had to remove the headlight front cowl, snap in the color-matched cover, then re-attach the front headlight cowl. Topcase/trunk: Best with two persons, but can be done with one. Big enough for a half helmet, gloves, goggles, wallet, and other little things. Looks good on the scooter, too. Battery installation: This can be tricky. You have to have a square nut below the terminal screw. If you put the battery in the scooter and try to get those nuts under the terminal, you won't be able to do it. If you just try to balance the square nuts on the battery while dropping the battery into the scooter's battery compartment, the square nuts fall off. We decided to secure the nuts to the battery terminals with a half-turn of the terminal screw. Then drop the battery in and complete connections. First, connect the black, then connect the red. The batteries we received were fully charged. Moment of truth: Put premium gas in the tank. Since the carburetor is empty, you'll have to let the starter work a bit to get gas flowing into the engine. It didn't even require three total minutes to get it started. Run the starter for about 30-60 seconds, stop, repeat. Three times and it started right up. Whew. Let it run for a while. Both scooters had a good idle speed and sounds like the aifuel mix is spot on. One sees many horror stories about buying Chinese scooters online from dealers. And, those stories are bad. As I said above, you have to agree to the terms and conditions before you can buy. Those terms and conditions put almost all the risk on the buyer, not the dealer. So, know what you're getting into. But, thankfully, FGK did well. We received both Trailmaster Milano N 50 scooters in a timely manner, without damage, and the scooters fired up right away. Finally, registration of your scooter in your state: My state, Virginia, requires registration of 50cc scooters so you can display the required license tag on the back. To register, you need a title. You don't get a title from this dealer. But, you get enough documentation from the dealer (manufacturer's transfer document, invoice, bill of lading) where you can fill out an easy affidavit for title. Get it notarized and submit with your title application and registration. Pretty easy and far easier and quicker than waiting for the dealer to do it for you, IF the dealer is willing to do it for you, that is. I didn't even ask FGK for their title transfer document, so I can't comment on their responsiveness to such a request. I did the easy work-around at the DMV. So far, so good. I've gotten it up to 32 MPH (speedo reading, not GPS-confirmed), and that wasn't at full throttle. I live in a hilly area, so that 32 MPS was on a relatively flat area with a very slight downhill grade. The inherent four-stroke power situation is obvious on our steep hills, but that's life with a four-stroke. I'm still being careful with getting to full throttle until the engine has a bit of time to break in. I am aware that we will have to wrench these scooters from time to time. That's the price trade-off for a low-cost Chinese scooter. We are willing to pay this price. Thanks to so many videos available online about how to work on the 139QMB GY6 50cc engines, I think we can do this. (Edit to add: I attached a brown leather drink holder to the steering bars, just below the speedometer instrument, using a black velcro strap with a D-ring.. So, that's what that brown thing is - a drink holder. Perfect size for a cafe-bought coffee or a can of soda. It has some insulation, too, like any can cozy. It's made by Hide-and-Drink and available on Amazon. Ford fusion hybrid 2010-2012 model , it doesn’t appear there is anything wrong with my air conditioning because it blows cold but the other day I decided I want ICE cold air so I went and tried adding refrigerant from a can I had. I hooked it up with the AC on max cold and the psi was at 28. I added a little bit of the can and it looked like it went to 31 but it went right back down to 28/29. I did it for longer the second time and same thing. So it seemed to me that maybe the can might be bad.. I went to go buy a new can and attempted the same thing but the same 28/29 was showing. So I thought it’s a leak because it goes to 30-31 and comes back down to 28/29. But then if it’s a leak it would be going down further in psi and not be blowing cold air so maybe it’s not really adding anything and there is a blockage somewhere?.. So, I looked up some videos about this and one of the ideas was to get a temperature reading gun and pretty much see where the temperature is not logically correct which is usually around the condenser area. But before I go buying things, does anyone know what it could be? My car ac is cold , just not ice cold, and the low side pressure is holding at 28/29 psi. Doesn’t drop further but it also won’t take any refrigerant when I add it in. Is the connection right there on the low side blocked somehow? If it is, how could I be getting a reading of the psi still. Thanks in advance , just trying to learn and troubleshoot my car.

We just returned from a 10 day, 4 stop birding expedition that started in the Osa Peninsula. Our second lodge was an amazing ride by boat to Seirpe and then a quick ascent over the Cerro de la Muerte mountain on the Pan-American highway (elevation 10,900ft) to the Savegre Valley ( elevation 5000 ft). Everything was fine the afternoon we arrived and the next day - I was concerned about my mate’s shortness of breath with steep climbing at higher elevations. Acclamation to elevation over 3000ft can be important for some folks, but what I have learned is that rapid ascent over 5000ft, like our 2 hr drive, can cause AMS (acute mountain sickness). The symptoms occurred on the third day and we thought it was dehydration and fatigue. Only later did I research and conclude the condition was mountain sickness. In hindsight, the trip could have been planned starting in San Jose, staying at mid elevation to acclimate a couple of days and then move to any lodge over 5000ft elevation if breathing is a concern. The mountain air is worth the climb! Pura Vida! The local guides don’t seem to be aware of this too much, or don’t care to discuss it. It s probably a rare occurrence and the county prides itself on being resilient.
If anyone has experienced this in their travels I’d love to hear about it.

Hello everyone,
I have an 18 IS300 AWD (V6). It has 44k miles on it, so fairly “new”. Recently I have had a check engine light come on, so I took it to the Toyota dealership (where I usually do my oil changes) for troubleshooting.
Toyota folks stated two things: rodent nest under my engine cover and bad mass air flow sensor based on the codes they saw — P017100, P117000 & P017400.
According to them, no damages to the wires or pipes from rodents.
I agreed to their mass air flow replacement recommendation. They replace the part, do a test drive, and boom, the same error codes are back. They are back to troubleshooting again.
This time, they state it’s the fuel pump. I was hesitant about that, but at the same time it’s my commute car, so I needed it back and running asap. So I agreed to it. They replace the part, do a test drive, and once again, boom, same codes are back. Then they come back with another recommendation — to replace fuel rail and port injectors.
At this point, I asked them to put everything back together, so I can get a second opinion.
Second opinion recommends replacing the entire intake system with a 50/50 chance of success, which was not very reassuring lol. I asked them to put everything back together, so I can look for a third opinion.
A friend connected me with a retired mechanic, my third opinion person. While on my way to this mechanic’s house, I drove over a pothole. Right around that time, the check engine light goes off. I shared this with the mechanic. He was wiggling all the wiring around the engine, and at some point the check engine light comes back on. The mechanic suspects it’s an electrical issue, such as loose or bad wire, but he said he will need to take it to a friend’s shop with access to appropriate tools to validate that suspicion. He is not convinced that a Lexus with such low mileage needs intake or rail & injectors replaced. This sounds promising, but the guy is retired, and the earliest he can do is sometime in June…….this is my only commute car. He says I can keep driving it, and that I’ll be only burning more fuel due to the electrical issue. I am still not comfortable with driving.
Has anyone experienced this? Related symptoms beside the codes: rpm needle fluctuates like crazy while parked — not as bad when CEL temporarily goes off, engine sound changing in parked after running for a while due to lean condition, long “healthy” (as in not bad battery type) crank when cold starting (fine when warm starting), and periodic on/off of CEL.

I own a OnePlus 9 Pro 12-256 which I bought on May of 2022. I have owned it ever since and I like the device a lot. Since it was from the era before oppo merger, it shipped with OnePlus' own OOS 11, had MSM readily available, and a few developers picked up the device and did some development in the form of Google camera ports, custom ROMs, custom kernels.
My usual setup for playing genshin impact (my goto and only game I play) is having the phone on latest OOS 11, force 120Hz system wide using root, and using arter97's (well known OG kernel dev) custom kernel.
(The reason I force 120hz is because the game, with the same exact graphic settings, feels smoother to play when compared to playing with 60hz. This was odd and this shouldn't happen as the in game settings was constant and the fps was 45. I asked around and a kernel developer said that it is because of a bad tuning of the display at 60hz by OnePlus. It is why 60hz on a high refresh rate display feels significantly worse than 60hz on a native 60hz screen.)
I always played genshin at 45fps and it felt pretty smooth without heating the device too much (60fps on a mobile device is far too demanding).
One day I had FOMO and decided to try out OOS 14. I performed MSM, update to oos 14 step by step and finally installed genshin and started playing.
The game lagged so much. The game felt really choppy and hard to play. At one point of time, the audio started to crackle with how much it lagged. I thought maybe I haven't enabled performance mode and maybe that was the reason. I enabled it and the audio crackle was gone but still the game felt choppy. I enabled system monitor from the gamespace app and according to it I was getting 40-45 fps but still it wasn't as smooth as my setup on OOS 11. Someone told disabling the battery app using ADB would remove the thermal throttling but that didn't make any difference. I even ensured that 120hz was on for genshin using the app specific refresh rate setting (which is actually a gimmick as even after forcing gboard to be at 120hz, everytime I type the refresh rate drops to 60hz).
I was planning to upgrade to the new op12 by exchanging my 9p before this happened and Igot worried what if the new op12 also suffered from this issue?
I went to my nearby OnePlus experience store and spent 40 minutes downloading genshin (25Gb) and started playing with the same exact in-game graphic settings I always use on my 9 Pro and as I suspected, the op12 too felt choppy. The same choppiness as my 9 Pro on OOS 14. I tried enabling high performance mode but that didn't make any difference.
Now, the snapdragon 8 gen 3 is an amazing platform. My old 9 Pro with the "heater" 888 used to hang around at 40-43 degree celcius in an air-conditioned room (around 27° cause I live in India) but the 12 didn't even cross 38°C even after 40 min of downloading, 10 min of loading data and 10 min of playing. The chipset is definitely capable.
This made me drop my plans of buying the op12 as I hate this incompetency displayed by oppo / OnePlus devs and I have no hope that this will get fixed.

Now, the snapdragon 8 gen 3 is an amazing platform. The chipset is definitely capable.
